Magnolia is an ancient plant with fossils of this botanical family date back 95 million years. She existed prior to the appearance of bees and is believed to have evolved with pollination by beetles. Also called white champaca or white jade orchid tree, magnolia flowers have long been used in Chinese traditional health practices to create a sense of balance within the body. Steam-distilled from the sturdy petals, Magnolia essential oil contains linalool, the component that makes oils such as Lavender and Bergamot great for reducing feelings of stress or anxiousness and inducing calm and peaceful states.ABOUT ADAM BARRALET 'Adam Barralet has been observing and living in tune with nature since childhood. Jimbo's got Pol Ballús, Seb Stafford-Bloor, Julien Laurens and Rory Smith alongside him as the Champions League Knockout Round Play-offs get underway. We start with a look at some of the big ties across Tuesday and Wednesday including the small matter of Manchester City v Real Madrid - for the fourth season in a row in Europe! Elsewhere, there's the all-French affair between Brest and PSG, Celtic host Bayern Munich and Feyenoord v Milan just got a bit more interesting following the dismissal of Brian Priske… Domestically, in Spain the La Liga title race is the gift that keeps on giving with just two points separating Real, Atleti and Barcelona at the top of the table. That's after Carlo Ancelotti's side were held in a 1-1 draw by their Madrid rivals, allowing Barca to close the gap with a 4-1 victory over Sevilla. Over in Italy, it was a big Monday night in Milan as the Champions closed the gap to leaders Napoli to just one point after a 2-1 win over Fiorentina… just four nights after they'd played in Bergamot and la Viola had won 3-0 in a match that was rescheduled after the collapse of midfielder Edoardo Bove back in December. Napoli's lead at the top stands at one point as they were held by Udinese. In France, PSG continued their imperious Ligue 1 form with a 4-1 victory over Monaco, which included a first goal for the club for a certain Khvicha Kvaratskhelia. Distant chasers Marseille and Nice both registered wins of their own to keep up their Champions League charge in what's a very competitive chase for a top three spot. And in the Bundesliga, Bayern Munich prepared for their trip to Glasgow with a 3-0 win over Werder Bremen, stretching their lead at the top of the table to eight points. That's because closest rivals Leverkusen let complacency creep in again as they were held to a goalless draw by Wolfsburg. Meanwhile, Dortmund have gone five home games without a win in the league - their worst run since 2006 - after their 2-1 defeat at the hands of Stuttgart. Produced by Lucy Oliva. RUNNING ORDER: • PART 1: Moments of the weekend (00.45)• PART 2: Champions League teases (06.15)• PART 3: La Liga review - Title race gets even tighter, plus is Antony actually good in Spain?! This "bottle of sunshine" is the uplifting blend with a lengthy ingredient list made up of Wild Orange, Star Anise, Ginger, Bergamot, Ylang Ylang, Frankincense, Lemongrass, Tonka Bean and Vanilla Absolute. However, the bottles Heather and Meg have currently have an ingredient list of Wild Orange, Clove, Star Anise, Lemon Myrtle, Nutmeg, Vanilla Bean Extract, Ginger, Cinnamon Bark and Zdravetz Herb. Sometimes doTERRA updates their product ingredients for various reasons, including if sourcing quality product is an issue. Welcome to another money and manifesting episode of the Money Lighthouse Podcast for Spiritual Entrepreneurs! I'm your host, Michel Ai Reavis, and I'm so grateful to have you with me today. In this episode, we're diving into the fascinating world of aromatherapy and exploring how essential oils can be powerful tools for reprogramming the subconscious mind, manifesting your desires, and building your soulful business. As I've delved deeper into the realms of manifesting, conscious creation, and the subconscious mind over the past few months, I've been reminded of the incredible connection between scent, memory, and emotion. Our sense of smell is directly linked to the parts of our brain that handle memories and feelings, meaning certain scents can instantly transport us to different times and places in our lives. This connection makes aromatherapy a potent tool for spiritual entrepreneurs looking to elevate their mindset and energy. We'll discuss how essential oils can support your well-being, boost your energy, and help you stay focused and motivated in your business endeavors. From the uplifting scent of Bergamot to the grounding aroma of Patchouli, we'll cover ten essential oils that are particularly beneficial for spiritual entrepreneurs. Whether you're looking to shift your mood, reduce stress, or enhance your manifesting abilities, these oils can be valuable allies on your journey. Join me as we explore the unique properties of each oil and share practical tips on how to incorporate them into your daily routine. By the end of this episode, you'll have a new appreciation for these aromatic wonders and a toolkit of scents to help you thrive in your business and life. This week, the guys have lived two very different lives since last recording. One of them has had a crazy work schedule while being stuck alone with no heat, while the other one has been galavanting it up, hanging with homies, and drinking alcohol. Care to guess which one is which? Josh gives some bourbon breakdown before the boys get extra bougie by bringing up bergamot. Or is it bergamote? Either way, whatever it is and however it's spelled, it, and Josh's aesthetic, has Evan riled up. The guys also talk about how/why they drink and mix in some other conversations along the way. As always, listen in for the Fact of the Week, "sticking it to the man," and Life is Punny tidbits mixed in.

The Essential Oil Revolution –– Aromatherapy, DIY, and Healthy Living w/ Samantha Lee Wright
One can never pay too much attention to the vagus nerve. In fact, it's one of the hottest topics in wellness right now! This is because this tenth cranial nerve is critical in regulating many essential body functions, including of the heart, gut, brain, and lungs. We've touched upon the vagus nerve a few times with several amazing experts on the Essential Oils Revolution podcast! In this episode, I'm back for another solo episode in which I explore in more depth what some of my favorite essential oils are to support our vagus nerve. These essential oils were selected based on my clinical experience, their traditional use, and that they also have some evidence of favorably modulating our nervous system in scientific research. What You Will Learn: The three parts of your autonomic nervous system and how they impact body physiology. The functions of the vagus nerve and how it can affect healing and restoration. An overview of the multiple ways essential oils can calm the mind-body and support vagal tone. How essential oils influence our biochemistry and neurology to favorably benefit the vagus nerve. A review of the ways that lavender essential oil modulates the nervous system and vagal tone. What we can use to measure parasympathetic activity, including heart rate variability, which reflects vagal tone. Some of the issues with essential oil research. An overview of the research on bergamot oil for calming the parasympathetic nervous system, which is mediated by the vagus nerve. The studies on ylang ylang oil for positively influencing the vagal response. If you should use an essential oil if you don't like the smell and how this relates to the nervous system. Two honorable mentions of essential oils for regulating the vagus nerve response, petitgrain and fir oils. How volatile compounds from tree oils can mediate the negative effects of stress. A summary of how essential oils can optimize vagus nerve function and are applicable to the polyvagal theory. Have you used lavender oil, bergamot oil, ylang ylang, petitgrain, or fir oils to support your emotional health? Share your feedback and comments on the website or your favorite podcast player! Bergamot, a hybrid of bitter orange and lemon, originally from the Canary Islands, thrived in Calabria, Italy, after Christopher Columbus introduced it. Bergamot is famed for being the key flavouring in Britain's Earl Grey tea. Cold-pressed bergamot rind yields an oil rich in linalool, akin to Lavender and Magnolia, inducing a serene joy. Bergamot dissolves anxiety, dispels fears and aligns with the Divine, fostering a state of bliss. It urges embracing uniqueness, rejecting comparison, and fostering self-love. By recognising strengths, Bergamot boosts self-worth, paving the way for abundance. Whether financial or in other forms, Bergamot empowers you to claim the abundance rightfully yours, aligning your attitude with the universe's response. Dawn says: “The opening of aldehydes, with the merest touch of mint and green cypress give the fragrance a shining, ‘pearly'- opalescence along with a natural, ‘lake side setting' that continues throughout the design. For the heart, I created a rice powder and a steamed jasmine rice accord; each given a creamier feel with a light hand of vanilla. The drydown is a soft bed of hinoki, cedarwood, and pine. The entire fragrance for me has the feeling of ascension: of flying ever skyward toward the celestial realm through clouds, pastel colored by the setting twilight sun.”All of the profits from the sale of Biwa will be donated to Robert's husband, Ron. Biwa is a gift of love to the memory of our dear friend and a loving tribute to his ‘perfumed' imagination.
