Hey my friend,   I know many Christians who hesitate to speak about money to other Christians. And even if they dare to bring up this topic at Church, many seem to associate money as a sinful thing. The quick conclusions seems to be that only greedy people think about money. Some might even hint at you that you are too attached to the things of the world, when you speak about making money, having a career or being successful. Why is that? Did Jesus teach us to be sloppy people with no ambition or drive? The other day I read a book cover by Billy Sticker, a Christian Entrepreneur "The church has done a great job teaching us how to give, but a poor job teaching us how to earn. There is a mindset throughout much of the church that money is evil." Sadly, I couldn't agree more. I don't think poverty is the virtue God is trying to instill in us. However, there is also the other extreme. The name it, claim it, abundance theory! Those who believe in the abundance theory claim that God will give us all the riches we desire, we only have to ask him to do so. Again, did Jesus teach us to strive to be rich and to hit God up for all the material blessings? So, how do we find the right money mindset that is founded on biblical principles? Should we feel bad for wanting to make money? As with many things in life, God looks at the heart and at our motives. That's why I explore in this episode, what a sound biblical money mindset looks like.  I pray this blesses you. Jillaine St Michel, DC talks to Dr. Justin Trosclair, DC on A Doctor's Perspective Podcast While working in a traditional brick and mortar higher volume practice, she quickly gained lots of experience but also learned some of the negatives of a traditional practice. This led her to pursue the mobile - house call - doctor comes to you - type of chiropractic practice. What is a good niche for mobile chiropractic? She noticed a niche in people who couldn't keep asking off from work and those who hated the traffic and commute to the doctor's office. As she crunched the numbers, she also realized that house call chiropractic could be profitable as well. You can offer services like: pinch and release, myofascial tools for muscles, kineisology taping, of course the adjustment, laser, rehab, stretches and ergonomics What kind of niche is a good idea to target for house call: individuals, corporate, small businesses or is anyone who actually wants the convenience of a mobile chiropractor good enough? Liability for a Business Having a Chiro there In a sue happy society, if you treat someone in a business, is that owner liable if the patient gets hurt? Can you just treat in a van or RV right off the premises? Can employees sign a waiver releasing the business of liability and consider it just a non-mandatory service that comes over once a month? (obviously she isn't a lawyer and all these questions are not answered completely. Seek professional advice for all law related questions) Although she does not use a camper, RV or van, what are some of the pros and cons that she has heard from being in the mobile chiro forum? Does it make more sense to target under 5 employee companies, 100, 500, 1000+ employees etc? How do we handle pets at a house call visit? Considerations in Setting Fees What are the considerations when picking a fee for service? Do you include travel time to and from, equipment, actual treatment and listen to hear the other things she mentioned? Reasons to have your fees on the website. Should you do paper or electronic notes? Any regulations with paper driving around town? How do we determine what the travel fee should be? I've heard of flat rates and different prices based on mileage from a center point. How do you schedule your day so you aren't bouncing from the north and south end of town 5 times a day? How automated can you get with scheduling, calls being answered, payments being made as well as automatic text or email reminders to schedule, appointment reminders and asking for reviews? What is a typical treatment plan for a house call chiropractor patient? Staying Safe in Other People's Homes Dr. St. Michel is obviously a women and now a mom, so of course we discussed dual-working parents, how are the roles divided and the nuances that women doctors usually have to deal with more than their male counterparts. Any corporate rates or discount rates for X amount of people or buy 5 get 1 visit free or a yearly fee? What precautions can you take so that you as the treating doctor feel safe going into a stranger's house as well as not being accused of inappropriate behavior? 3 Reasons Facebook Ads Aren't Working Welcome back to another episode of Chiro Candy. I've got to tell you guys, this has en a little bit bittersweet. I've really missed doing these episodes, and at the same time, I have not, if that makes sense. For several years we did these every Tuesday, 5:00 AM Central Time a new episode came out. And I was unbelievably consistent with getting these done. And as our business started growing, and we got more and more clients, and the stress of just life, and work, and stuff began to add up. My wife would ask, what are some things that are stressing you out? And one was checking email. And she's like, well, look, why don't you have Renee do that? Which is one of our team members that helps out on the Facebook side of things. So she really became my assistant. Not only does she work in the Facebook side of the business, but she started checking my emails, and organizing that, and letting me know, hey, which ones I need to respond to, and so on and so forth. And that really helped. But we went, in January of this past year, of 2018, which is the same month we did the ChiroCandy Cruise, we were at about 60 offices we were working with doing Facebook. That's not including all the offices, and doctors that we help write books and stuff for. But just the Facebook side of things, now we're well over 100 offices we're working with. And that happened in just a matter of months, we just doubled in size. And we hired a lot of new staff, and got our staff trained, and everybody's here local. We don't have anybody in India doing this. As a matter of fact, it's a lot of people we go to church with that work in the business with us now. So anyway, we worked on our systems, and our processes, and getting everything right. But I kind of gave myself permission to take a step back from doing the podcast. And I've got to tell you, for me, and this is a little bit selfish, but it was a nice break. It felt good. And we also had some issues. I don't know if some of you guys who listen to the show for a while may notice that we had some issues with the mic. I'd have people email me saying, oh my goodness, your last episode from 13 minutes to 16 minutes, your audio went almost completely silent. I mean, just issues like this. And so, I'd replace the mic, and then the other mic was having issues, and it was just a stress point in my life that I was like, you know what? I'm giving myself permission to just not do this for a while. And then I've been traveling, speaking at different events, and it really has been great. People coming up to me saying, hey, what's going on? I miss the show. And even some big name influencers in the profession saying, Billy, dude, what's going on? Where's ChiroCandy? And so, we had last week's episode with Tabor, which the first episode we've done in quite some time. And so, now we're back. We are going to start doing these more regularly. And I even have a new podcast that I'm going to be starting, that I'm really excited about also. It's going to be a totally different genre, if you will. It's going to be called, The Blessed Entrepreneur. And it's going to be about, God wants us blessed to be a blessing. And the purpose of wealth is to help spread the gospel, and some really cool stuff we're going to be going over. But it's going to be more of an entrepreneur, internet marketing type podcast with a tilt on scripture. And not at all trying to use God to sell anything. That's not it. It's more this mind set that some people have that you're supposed to be poor. That money is evil, and that's not the case at all. You can bless a lot more people when you have money, you can make a greater impact in the world when you have money. But you do that by serving as many people as you can. So anyway, that's going to be another podcast we're going to be doing here, launching really, really soon. So I'm excited about that. We're actually working on the website and stuff right now. But in this episode of ChiroCandy, let's go ahead and get into some meat. Some of the meat and potatoes. One of the things that I've noticed is, some of our most popular episodes are the ones where we talk about directly some tools when it comes to Facebook marketing, and what's working, and what's not working. And today we're going to cover three things, or three reasons that your Facebook ads are not working. Or whenever we talk to offices, and they're like, look, we tried this before, and Facebook just doesn't work. Well, we see the same things over, and over, and over again. And basically it comes down to these three things. The first one, whenever somebody says their Facebook is just not working. And whenever we say Facebook, we include Instagram in that as well. When they say their marketing efforts just aren't working, it's because number one, there's no consistency. And I like to relate this to go into the gym. Or even in your diet and nutrition. All right? So let's say that you go to the gym, and you say, you know what? I'm going to start a new plan. I'm going to get in shape, and so on and so forth. And so, you go to the gym and you work out for a week. And you're as sore as can be, but you really don't see much of a change the next week. So you're like, you know what? Yeah, I went to the gym and it just didn't work. Because you just weren't consistent. Or you just go every once in a while. And so that's one of the biggest things, is you have to be consistent. Or your diet, right? You decide that you're going to eat Paleo, or Keto, or whatever, and somebody does that for a week. And okay, well I really didn't see that much of a change. So it just, yeah, that just doesn't work for me. Well, you just weren't consistent. And you've got to be consistent. It's almost like, I believe it was Jim Rone who used this example, and a flame, you can take your finger and run it through the flame. And it just doesn't hurt you. Right? But if you do it long enough, eventually you're going gonna get burned. And that might be the negative way to look at this. But when you go to the gym and you're consistent with it, eventually it's going to work. You just have to be consistent. Whenever I graduated high school, I think I weighed 155, somewhere around through there. When Rusty and I got married, 22 years ago, I was about 165. In the majority of my adult life, I have worked out, and worked out, and worked out. Now, not a lot of crossfit type head training, more just lifting weights, trying to put on size. Trying to put on some muscle. And now, just muscle wise, I mean, I've got more muscle on me right now than I ever have. And a lot of that is because I have been consistent. For years I've been consistent with it. And so, it's the same thing with marketing. Your marketing, you have to be consistent with it. But it's not just going to the gym, right? You can go to the gym and then look around and say, okay, what am I going to do today? If you don't have a plan, which is the second reason we see people where they miss it when it comes to their ads. It's just not having a plan. Right? They get on there, and they get on Facebook and they boost a couple of posts. Or they shoot a video, and they boost that video, and then they don't do anything else with it. There's just really no plan. And so that's the second thing, second reason we see people. So the first one is, just not consistent. Second one is, just not having a plan. It's just like one of the things that I do is, when I go, when it comes to weight training. And a lot of people do this same thing. Mondays I'll do chest, back. On Tuesdays, Wednesdays I do legs. Thursdays I do shoulders. Fridays I do arms. And then Saturdays I'll do traps, and maybe a few other things that I just kind of want to touch on, do some more cardio. And I'll also do some cardio throughout the week too. But have a plan. And even if I skip for a few days and then I go in, all I do is ask myself, okay, what's today? Today's Thursday. Thursdays I do shoulders. Even if I missed back that week, whatever day it is, is what day I'm going to do. Because that's the plan I've chosen to stick with. So it's the same thing with marketing. You just need some type of a plan that you can be consistent with, and then stick with it. Have a plan, find out what other people are doing that's working, and do that. One of the benefits that we have with working with so many offices across the, not just the country, really across the world. I mean, clients in Australia, Ireland, Peru, South and Central America. We've got clients all over. But the great thing is, is sometimes we will find something new that's working. Whether we get an idea from a doctor, or just our staff is talking with a client and comes up with a new campaign. We try it, and it works. Then we try it with a few other offices, and it's working for everybody. Well, then we get to take it and move it across everybody's campaigns, and everybody gets the benefit of that. So we find a plan that works, and then we implement it across everybody's campaign. So you want to be consistent, and then you want to have a plan, and follow that plan. All right? So that's step number two. And then the third reason that we see people not having good results with Facebook, is they're simply not compliant. How frustrating is that? Whenever you have a patient and they're like, yeah, this just chiropractic stuff isn't working. Okay. Does chiropractic work every time, right? Whether or not they feel it, we know it's working. But what they do outside of your office, you have little control over. Some patients are just not compliant. Then we've had that with clients before. Somebody will sign up, and we'll use some stock images, so we can get a campaign going really quick. And then we ask them for images, some simple images of them with patients, and we give them samples, and so on and so forth. Just use an iPhone, right? If you have to, you can use an Android. But just use a cell phone, take a picture like the ones we send, and get them over to us, and we'll update your account in those pictures we know work better. And then they never do it, right? They just never send that to us. Or we ask for some specific videos. And one of the cool things that we do for our clients, we have some really cool online training that is some unbelievable tips and tricks on recording really cool videos for your office. And if they go through the training, they don't implement any of it, and they never get us a video. And then they say, well, this just isn't working. Well, no, you're not working. You haven't been compliant. We know what works really well. We want you to have the most success possible. We just need you to do X, Y, and Z. Right? And so, when people aren't compliant when you're trying to tell them what they need to be doing, and they just don't do it, and then they say it doesn't work, that can be really frustrating. Just like it can with you, with a patient. So the three reasons we see people not having results with Facebook that they should have is because they're not consistent, they don't have a plan that they're following, and then they're not compliant. So, if you can learn to be consistent with your marketing. All right? One of the things we do, is we like to have offices do videos. Even if it's just a video, a short video, two to three minutes, do one every two weeks. We have some offices that do one a week. Actually, we have some offices that do several a week. And then one of our staff will get on there on Fridays and look over the videos they did that week. Which one is getting the most engagement? And then the next week we'll put some ad dollars behind that, and then we'll rotate it. But one of our offices in Kentucky, as a matter of fact, he was just doing a video every two weeks. And in two and a half months we built an audience of 9,000 people that had watched 50% or more of these videos. And he had only, at the time, only done four or five videos. If you figured every couple of weeks doing a video. But we were able to take that audience of people who know are watching his stuff, and then run specific ads to them, and all of a sudden his Facebook leads went from screening quality leads, to referral quality leads. Because he followed the steps and stuff that we teach. And so that works really, really well. But it's just being consistent. He was doing these every couple of weeks. So, that's one thing. Be Consistent, have a plan, know what you're doing, know what you're going to be doing in the videos on, know what it is you're wanting to offer, and be consistent with it, and then be compliant. If you hear about certain things other people are doing that's working, or if you have somebody like us saying, look, we need you to do X, Y, Z, do that. Follow up and do those things. That's going to get you the best possible results. All right? So, I hope you found some value in that. Hey guys, Billy Sticker here and we are in beautiful New Braunfels in the Texas Hill Country, and we have a great location. You can see the Guadalupe River and stuff behind us, but I don't know if you can hear the chainsaws in the background, also. One of the things I wanted to talk about today is recording videos. You always want to take advantage of situations like this. If you're out and about, record some videos that you can make some content with that are in different environments. Because, your number one objective when you're doing videos on Facebook is to capture their attention. Now, there's some changes going on with videos. For example, right now, in my newsfeed, videos are not playing automatically. Some people, they're still playing automatically. So, they're going through some changes. Regardless, you want to make sure the thumbnail is something different that's going to capture their attention if it's not. But, you want to change things up, even if you're just in your office. You don't want to have one spot in your office where you're always recording videos, because people get used to seeing something, and on a subconscious level, they think they've already seen it. So, you want to switch stuff up. It's not just about wearing a different shirt, it's about using props. Use the spine. Have a whiteboard where you're demonstrating something or maybe stand in front of a light box or going over some x-rays or something. Or, you can have a patient that you're using as an example. Dr. Alex Vidan did a really cool video here a couple years ago. He was standing in front of a light box that had an x-ray of an ankle on it, and he was talking about getting into spring and summertime, people starting to wear flip-flops. So, he had a flip-flop, and was talking about ... Or just sandals in general. It was a great piece of content. It captured people's attention, which is what you want to do. Always use props, different locations. You can be at restaurants and talk about how you can eat healthy when you're still eating out. There's all kinds of ideas. So, you want to use props, but whenever it comes to different content strategies, you want to think about what is it that I want my ideal patient to know? That right there can give you tons and tons of content just right there. Or, what are questions that you have patients asking all the time. Write done a list of those questions. Answer those questions. You can even do a series on the top five questions a new patient asks. Then, you can do a series on the top five questions I wish a new patient would ask. There's tons of ideas for content. Some of our doctors that do a lot of nutrition and stuff, I recommend looking at Dr. Josh Axe, at their Facebook videos. Now, I am not saying steal his content. I'm not saying that at all, but they have built a hundred million dollar business on-line producing great content. You can do to Dr. Josh Axe, or I think it's just Dr. Axe, to his Facebook page, and click on the videos. Go back six months, nine months, go back a year, and just look at the titles of his videos. You can take those titles, and come up with your own spin on those titles. You can get ideas just from the titles, and then come up with your own topics. Another really cool strategy for coming up with video content is, you know those Dummy books? The yellow and black, book for Dummies? If you can find a book on that on whatever subject it is you want to talk about, whether it's just health in general or wellness or exercise or nutrition. If you ever look in the beginning of those books, their table of contents are typically 20 to 30 pages long. It's incredible how detailed their table of contents are. You can take a section of their table of contents, just for structure ideas, write those down, and then you give some videos on that topic. I'm not saying read the books and steal their content, but just look at how the content, the framework they use. Anyway, I hope you guys found this video enlightening. Welcome to episode number 95 of ChiroCandy. On this episode, we're going to talk about 7 reasons to write a book. Before I get into that, I want to go over a couple of key things that I learned from this year, some takeaways that I have from this year. I hope that you guys do the same thing with your practice, your business, your relationships, your spiritual life, your physical life, all these different areas. What are some takeaways that you have for this year and what are some things that you want to do different? Takeaways For 2016 For those of you new to the show, we started ChiroCandy back in May of 2015. I have a background in ministry but also in sales and marketing. I was a sales manager for a long time but I spent 17 years in the precious metals industry, (Rare coins, gold, silver, things like that). About eight years into that, I left that industry, went to work for a chiropractor for a few years and that's whenever I really "drank the Kool-Aid," if you will. I just really fell in love with the profession but I wasn't making as much money as I did in the coin business. Ended up going back into coins. After awhile I was so tired of working for somebody else, building somebody else's dream and having somebody else tell me when and where I needed to be here and be there. It was just time for something else. We started ChiroCandy. I didn't even know how we were going to monetize it. I just wanted to give value. 1. Value Pays: One of my big takeaways for 2016 is value pays. I talk a lot about that in the different episodes. Episode 67, where I talk about this sales process. How the more and more value you give, the more you're going to "sell". It's like whatever product or service you offer, there's a scale. Their money, whatever you're charging for that service, is on one side. Your product or service is on the other. Well the more value you add then it ... Once you get it to outweigh whatever you're charging, the sales mate. My goal was just to give value. Not charge anything. I just wanted to give value. I can say that 2016 being my first year, 100% full-time just doing this, we were able to collect more money than I ever did in 17 years in the coin business. Now my wife stays home. She helps me out. I've got a son in college. He's going to bible school right now. He's learning how to do a lot of this stuff. Really there's three main ways that we monetize ChiroCandy. It's through affiliate marketing, the Facebook marketing that I do for doctors out there and then the ghost writing that we do. We help docs. We sit down with them, come up with a really tight outline. It's all their content. We just do all the hard work. We do all the heavy lifting and then we get it professionally designed, edited and it's listed on Amazon. Then you get to use it for publicity, all kinds of things for your practice. That's really what we're going to get into for this episode. Value pays. That was one of my big takeaways from this year is when you come at whatever you're doing from value, you're going to be okay. As long as you have ways to monetize in the backing it, but just be concerned with giving value. Everything else will work out. It's been a great year. We look for bigger things to come. 2. Consistency: Another takeaway I have is consistency. I release a podcast every Tuesday, 5:00 a.m. Central Standard Time. I don't know. It may go unappreciated by a lot of the listeners. It really doesn't matter. It's important to me to make sure for those of you ... There's a lot of docs out there that listen to the show. We get thousands of downloads every week. Last I checked, we're in well over 90 countries across the world. For those of you who look forward to, "Hey, tomorrow a new show comes out. I want to listen to it at the gym." I know there's podcasts out there that I do that with. If a podcast comes out let's say Tuesday, one of the marketing shows I listen to, if I know it's coming out on Tuesday, I'll wait to make sure it comes out before I go to the gym because I want to listen to it at the gym or whatever it may be. I found that just being consistent, it holds ... I think it builds credibility for me and for what I do. I don't know why I'm saying that's one of my takeaways. I feel that it's paid off. I feel that being consistent every week with the show helps hold me accountable to deliver value. Maybe that's it. Maybe that's where I'm going with this. 3. Ready, Fire, Aim: Then a third takeaway I have is ready, fire, aim. There's been some things we've done this year that haven't worked out real well as far as from a marketing standpoint to produce income for the show or income for our family, stuff like that. There's been some things that have just really been home runs. There's a book by Michael Masterson called Ready, Fire, Aim. Too often people get so caught up in waiting to make sure everything is perfect before you go for it. Sometimes you've just got to go for it. Just get out there, fire and then aim along the way. The book by Maxwell Maltz called Psycho-Cybernetics came out back in the 50s I think. He talks about how we're all created with this internal guidance system. It's almost like a heat-seeking missile that we correct ourselves along the way. It's just the way God created us. There's a lot of truth in that. That was another takeaway for this year is you just get out there and you do it and you go. Then it all works out. Well we've been married almost 21 years now. The majority of that time, I've been straight commission, especially in the coin business. Now when I was manager, I did have an override that I knew was coming in but for the most part, the income has been consistent but not always ... Just like you guys. Owning a business, it's different. I think that's really helped me a lot starting this business. It's going to help me grow the business because there are times like, "Ugh. I don't know where it's going to come from next month." We just keep doing what we're doing and next thing you know, we're having a better month than we did last month and then another better month than that month. They just continue just to grow.  It's just getting out there and putting stuff to work. Proverbs 14:23 says, "All hard work brings a profit but mere talk leads to poverty." Sometimes you've just got to get out there and do it. Then if it doesn't work, tweak it and try it again. 4. Think Bigger. Dream Bigger: Then the fourth thing is just think bigger and dream bigger. We had some guest speakers come and do this thing at our church here a couple months back. That was one of the big things they talked about. It was one of the big takeaways I had from this weekend thing that we did was not to limit myself, not to limit my thinking, but think bigger, dream bigger and do bigger. That's one of our big things we want to do for 2017 is just really how can we get out there and help impact more doctors and help you guys impact more people in your community to help you build that dream practice? I see this all the time. Whatever your dream practice looks like in your mind, there are people out there that have built it. What can I do to help guide you? I'm not an expert in any of this. I do feel that I'm good at marketing but I'm not a doctor. I'm not a chiropractor. I've never built a clinic but my goal is to help provide value and get guys on the show that can help you do that. Anyway, there's eight minutes, almost nine minutes into the show. There's some takeaways for this year for me and hopefully you can apply that to your business and what's coming up for 2017. Let's get into the core of what we want to talk about for this podcast... 7 Reasons To Write A Book. I'm very passionate about this. I've written four books and book number five is actually almost done. It's done. We've been going through the editing process on it. I started it last year. This one has taken me a year but the funny thing is is my Instant Influencer Course, which walks you through how to write a book, I brag about how you can write a book in as little as three weeks. I've done that. My other books I've written in as little as three weeks from the idea in my head to my book in my hand, as little as three weeks. This one was different. I just had different goals for the book but also this year, because of things that would happen ... New clients that would come in, speaking engagements that I would have, just being busy, the book wasn't a priority. I've been still doing a little bit every month and every month to get it to where it is. Now we are at the point where hopefully in the next month or two it's going to be released. I'm really expecting some big things. I'm really excited about that. 1. Authority That's one of the reasons that I wanted to talk about this today. The first reason you should write a book is the authority that it gives you. There's a reason that the root word of 'authority' is author. People automatically look at you different when they realize you've written a book. That's number one. 2. Branding Number two is branding. It really ties into the authority. You can use it in all of your marketing messages, all kinds of things. It really helps shape who you are, your clinic, when you want it to. Now some docs write a book and it's just something they have on their shelves. They use it a little bit. If you do it right, it can really help with your branding, their image, especially making an impact in your area, which leads us to number three is publicity. 3. Publicity Whenever you have a book, it becomes easier to get free publicity in your local area. Whenever you have your book done, you should plan out a publicity campaign where you do what you can to get on the local talk radio. Have articles written in the local newspaper. If your area has a local magazine that comes out, reach out to them. They're always looking for good content. The local TV news station, they're always looking for good quality content and whenever you are an author and you have that authority, it also helps them want to say yes to you, to bring you in front of their audience, knowing that you're going to deliver good quality content. It's huge. One TV appearance on a local news show ... One of my docs did this on the morning news show and had over $6,000 in business just from a little ... It was a three-minute spot on the news one day. Another one of my clients, we helped do a book and he had 60 phone calls that afternoon after his spot aired. His clinic, you're looking at anywhere between ... The different programs and stuff that he offers, he profit-wise collects ... It's all cash. No insurance. Anywhere from $2,000 to $4,000 per case. It had 60 people call after that. He was able to do that. It was easier for him whenever he was an author. They had their book on TV. He's showing the book and they're talking about the book and then talking about his practice and what he's doing. It's a huge opportunity for that. 4. Share Your Message Reason number four is you get to share your message. You guys have a message. I don't know if there's another industry that's as passionate about what it is they do as chiropractors are. This gives you a platform to share that message. 5. Patient Education Reason number five is patient education. Typically whenever you're seeing these patients, you're only spending ... What? Three to five minutes with them at a time? Sometimes longer. After your day one and day two and you're just doing your adjustments, you don't have that much time. For you to get all this philosophy that you have to teach that to these patients, it takes more than that. When you have a book, you can say, "Hey, Ms. Jones. Look, I want you to do this. In chapter three of my book, it talks about the benefits of drinking water," or whatever it may be. "Before you come in next time, read that chapter. There's some things that I want to talk to you about." You can use it as for patient education. 6. Legacy The sixth reason is to leave a legacy. When you have a book that you've written, nobody can ever take that away. It's there always. I recently lost my grandfather. This was just here within the past month, six weeks. Even his grandfather ... I'm sorry, his dad. I heard all these stories about how he was just such a great man and was real involved in church and all these things that he did. They have a building named after him. I always thought, "You know what? If he had written a book, I would love to read it." That's one of the reasons I wrote ABCs of a Leader is I wanted it to be something not for ... To be on Amazon, for everybody to buy and all this. I wanted it to be these key fundamental principles that I feel make people successful that my grandkids could read about, that my great grandkids could say, "Well you know what? Your great great grandfather, here's one of the books that he read and this is the philosophy that made him who he is." It's leaving that legacy is the sixth reason. Let's go over these real quick. Let's recap and then we have one more. 1. Authority 2. Branding 3. Publicity 4. Sharing your message 5. Patient Education 6. Legacy 7. Who You Will Become Number seven is because who you'll become in the process. The late Jim Rohn talks about this... He says his mentor told him, "You should have a goal to become a millionaire not for the money, but because of who you have to become in the process to be able to earn that." I think it's the same type thing. Once you've done work ... Even though as far as my side of things, we try to make it as easy for you as possible. It's still being able to say, "I'm an author." There was a guy that we used to go to church with. I knew him for years but we knew each other at church. Really not anything outside of that. This was really before Facebook so he didn't ... It's not like he was getting on social media and would see me and knew that I was an author. We were at worship practice one day. Something was said about one of my books. He stopped and he said, "Wait, you've written a book?" I said, "Yeah." At the time I had written, I don't know, maybe three of them. He started treating me different. He started talking to me different. It was funny but I bring that point up because that's what happens. When you have a book, people look at you differently. Anyway, those are seven reasons why you should write a book. I really encourage you to make that ... Put that on your list for 2017 as a goal. Whether it takes you a year, whether you want help ... We can help you do it pretty quick. Or even as just something that you sit down and make that a long-term goal, whatever it may be, I really think there's a ... I know that you have a book inside of you. You have a message to share. Share it. Do what you can to share it. That's going to be it for this episode. We'll stop right there. Drs. Jeremy and Amanda Hess join Billy Sticker this week on another episode of ChiroCandy.   Dr. Jeremy Hess is a practicing chiropractor in Georgia since 2000. He is a graduate of Life University, a member of the Georgia Council of Chiropractic since 1998, a board member since 2007, and serving as Vice President from 2010-2013.  He is a member of the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association, International Federation of Chiropractors and Organizations and a Lifetime Member of the International Chiropractors Association. Dr. Jeremy practices with his wife, Dr. Amanda Hess in Stockbridge Ga. Currently Drs. Hess own and operate the busiest chiropractic practice in the state of Georgia and one of the busiest in the world, are co-founders of the AMPED program and are writing a series of books called, “Designed by God.”    Dr. Jeremy’s passion for natural healing methods began after specific chiropractic care for a collegiate soccer injury to his hip.  To his surprise, not only was his hip injury corrected, but also his asthma and a chronic 2 year eye infection were healed through specific chiropractic after years of inhalers and eye drops never resolved his health concerns.  Thus began his journey into the world of natural health, healing and giving others hope through specific scientific chiropractic care.   Dr. Jeremy is thankful for all the recovery and healing he is able to witness everyday in his private practice.  He also enjoys mentoring and teaching chiropractors and students practice procedures and inspiring them to make a huge impact in their communities through the AMPED program which he is a co-founder.
