In fact, I'm going to play a few more tunes than my normal six that I like to keep these episodes to because, quite frankly, there was so much good music on this disc I didn't know where to stop. The featured trumpet player you'll be hearing was known as the bridge between Louis Armstrong and Dizzy Gillespie. But he had a style all his own that was quite influential in his own right. Got some three-ways with Shaw and asked "Would you rather get paid daily"? Had an inspiring story about a guy who is walking barefoot across the country to raise money & awareness for men's mental health. And we told you about the Cadbury Bunny contest! Today is National Margarita Day, and Shaw once again shared his recipe for the best margs out there. Last year, we found out about the Gathering of the Kyles, and today we discovered the Ryan Rodeo happening in Austin, TX this Saturday! Talked a bit about Rock Fest, and we reminisced about the Franklin Mint & the Precious Moments figurines that might be worth some money now! During the Friggin' Sports, we discussed the MLB's new uniforms being somewhat transparent, and during today's "Bad News with Happy  Music", we had stories about the most expensive property in America, voters think that both Biden & Trump are too old to be President, an update on that severed leg that was found in the NYC subway, the Amazon driver in WI that was hit by a train while driving his delivery van, a woman who recently celebrated her 107th birthday, an outbreak of bed bugs in Vegas, Red Lobster making changes to it's "All-You-Can-Eat" shrimp promotion, a trio of German Shepherds who jumped into a stranger's car and refused to get out, and a guy who got caught with some drugs AND a rocket launcher!!!See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

On this episode, Ami Kassar interviews Elisabeth Garson, Executive Creative Director of Steel Owl, about her creative journey, her favorite projects, and what she is working on now. Elisabeth is an Executive Creative Director and an Experience Producer that builds interactive brand experiences, and develops gamification for corporate training (learn as you play). She's given dozens of lectures on experiential design, advertising, escape rooms and more. She authored two industry books and is the owner of Steel Owl Productions, with the award-winning game room, Escape The 1980s. Her current work blends interactive, off-screen experiences with advertising and learning. In 2015, she founded Steel Owl Productions, a company that works with brands looking to promote or train via real-life experiences. She's developed interactive experiences for the museum industry, training industry and Fortune 500 companies. Prior to Steel Owl Productions, Garson worked in Advertising for 20 years as a Creative Director. Her clients included large companies (Comcast, Advanta, The Franklin Mint), medium sized businesses and start-ups. From craft beer…to cable TV — her creative work explored consumer experience, from the perspective of targeted audience research. This knowledge acted as the primary building block for the Steel Owl business model, including game development, company branding, and puzzles to create player engagement. In addition, she created several Philadelphia events including the sold-out “Dating Game Live” (set up like the 1980s show) and a sold out “Happening Event” where participants purchased tickets to something that was happening (but they didn't know what it was). She was the co-creator of an independent short film that created outlandish experiences for unsuspecting deliverymen. She also the developed The Philadelphia Arts Market concept for the City of Philadelphia, which is still in process of development, and on-hold for the moment. Over the years, Garson's endeavors have attracted press from The Philadelphia Inquirer, CBS 3, NBC 10, ABC 6, KYW News Radio, Time Magazine and dozens of others. Recorded 08/26/2022.

A brand new venture can bring trepidation, and is never as straight forward as it may seem. That's something that I know all too well. On this episode of The Unfinished Print, I speak with curator, collector, and small business owner David Kutcher about his Japanese woodblock print gallery Moonlit Sea Prints. Located in Easthampton, Massachusetts, David opened his gallery to share his love of Japanese woodblokc prints. We discuss why he got involved with the Japanese woodblock, the background of the business, his own private collection, the competition, and how history plays a part in his business.  Please follow The Unfinished Print and my own mokuhanga work on Instagram @andrezadoroznyprints Twitter @unfinishedprint, or email me at theunfinishedprint@gmail.com Notes: may contain a hyperlink. Simply click on the highlighted word or phrase. Moonlit Sea Prints - website, Instagram.  Night Fishing by Arai Yoshimune (1873-1935) - Arai Yoshimune was a woodblock print designer who designed for the Hasegawa/Nishinomiya publishing house. “Night Fishing” is one print in a series of popular shin-hanga style woodblock prints published in the early 1900's by Hasegawa/Nishinomiya of Tōkyō, called "Night Scenes". The series is made up of 21 prints. A fascinating article on this series can be found, here. Below is the "Fishing Boat," print from the this series.    Fuji Arts - is an online Japanese woodblock print store, for collectors and is based in Ann Arbor, Michigan. The company has been in operation since 2000.  Connie Mack (1862-1956) - was an American professional baseball player and manager, and is the longest serving manager in baseball history.   Babe Ruth (1895-1948) - is arguably the greatest American baseball player of all time. Made famous for his time with the New York Yankees form 1920-1934. Is said to have hit his first ever home run here in Toronto in 1914 when baseball was played on the island, against the Toronto Maple Leafs (baseball club).  1934 Japan Baseball Tour - baseballs all stars of the time, including Connie Mack and Babe Ruth, went to Japan in 1934 to play on an “All American All-Stars” team. More information can be found here, with some footage.  Acidic and non acidic matting - acid is a natural occurring element within paper. Like food, some have more, some have less. For very acid-free paper you would be using paper made from cloth rag and containing a small amount of a chemical compound called “lingnin” which is in all paper. The more lignin, the more acid the paper has. You want to use an acid-free paper to protect your print or piece of art from yellowing and other damage. For a great read on the subject, you can check it out, here .  Starry Night by Takahashi Shōtei (1871-1945) - is a woodblock print, 6”x15” produced around 1926-1927.  Shōtei  designed woodblock prints for the Okura Shoten publishing house, and later for Maeba Shoten, finally designing some of his most famous prints, such as the one below, with Watanabe Shōzaburō (1885-1962). I have seen this print with the 1926/27 year of production as well as a 1936 date as well. A biography of Shōtei can be found, here. Tōshi Yoshida (1911-1995) and the Franklin Mint - in the early 1980's Tōshi Yoshida, the eldest son of Hiroshi Yoshida (1876-1950) embarked on a collaboration with the Franklin Mint. A private mint (a place where currency is made) based in Pennsylvania. The series of prints are considered surimono (privately commissioned prints). The prints are three sets of prints, called The Friendly Garden, Birds of the Seasons, and the calendar prints of birds and flowers. The sizes seems to vary. In muy research i've seen some prints as being 13.5" x 21.5" for the calendar prints and 12" x 20" for Birds of the Seasons. You can see some of these prints here.   print sizes - Japanese print sizes vary. The following are from the book, “The Printed Image: the Flowering of Japan's Woodblock Print Culture, (2018). ōban - 15” x 10” chūban - 10.4” x 7.5” ōtanzaku - 15.3” x 7” chūtanzaku - 15.3” x 5.2” For a larger and more extensive list you can find that, here, at artelino.com Japan in the 1950's - coming out of the second world war, Japan was slowly beginning to recover ecenomically. Starting with the U.S/Japan security alliance, called the San Fransisco Peace Treaty of 1951. By the late 1950's, and well into the late 1960's, with the help of the United States, Japan's GDP began to grow exponentially. A few economic reasons were for this. First, the US market was opened to Japanese exporters, leading to protectionism by a stregthening Japanese bureaucracy, enabling the Japanese government to control domestic and international production. Second, is what Jeff Kingston calls  “industrial targeting.” This is where the Japanese government would focus on certain sectors deemed to be vital to economic growth, thereby giving private loans which in turn would create strength in Japanese infrastructure like heavy industry, crude-oil and natural gas. This also enabled the cartel system by creating fixed cliques which as a matter of course, were open to corruption. These cartels (zaibatsu) played a large part in the fascist Japanese war machine, but with their connections with American corporations and being anti-Communist, the American post-war occupying government saw these zaibatsu as an asset to Japanese growth. Companies that had connections to militarist Japan are, Mitsui, Mitsubishi, and Hitachi to name a few. This growth that began in the 1950's, continued until the Japanese economic bubble burst in 1989. For more information on Japan's economic history check out Jeff Kingston's 2019 book, called Japan: Polity Histories. Moonlit Sea by Shoda Koho (1871-1946) - Koho was the designer of this famous print. Little seems to be known about this print designer who published his designs with Nishinomiya Yosaku, also known as the Hasegawa Publishing Co.  Jimbōchō -  is an area in the city of Tōkyō. Located in Chiyoda. It is an area made famous for its bookstores, where you can buy vintage, used, and new books of all genres. Some information can be found, here. Toyohara Kunichika (1835-1900) - considered to be the last ukiyo-e designer. Known as an incredible talent and having his own demons, Kunichika studied under Utagawa Kunisada (1786-1865) and lived and died in Tōkyō. His work is powerful, bombastic, and colourful. His triptychs at times broke from the single panel sheet traditoin of one image per sheet, where one image for Kunichika could take up all three panels. More information can be found, here. The Museums of Liverpool have a new Kunichika exhibition from April 15, 2022 - September 4, 2022. The print below is Onoe Kikugoro V as Akashi no Naruzo (1890) Yoshikazu Utagawa (dates unknown but active from 1850-1870) - famous for his Yokohama-e prints, prints that focused on the foreigners in Yokohama City in the 19th Century. Yoshikazu also made triptychs of tengu (long nose trickster forest goblins), and other demons. The triptych below is, Yoshitsune on Mount Kurama. Minamoto no Yoshitsune (1159-1189) - was a leader of the Minamoto clan, associated with the period of warrinhg between the Minamoto and the Taira clans during the Heian Period (794-1185). Yoshitsune's history, like many individuals of that historical period in Japanese history, is mixed with legend and is difficult to know what is true and what is not. Many woodblock prints were made describing his military prowess, as well as his adventures with his friend Benkei.  Some history of Yoshitsune can be found, here.  intaglio printmaking - is a style of printmaking, the opposite of relief printmaking, where scratches are made with a burin on the plate (copper, zinc, aluminum) and then dipped in acid. Ink and pigment is rubbed on with a brayer, brushes, etc. More info can be found, here. Kawase Hasui (1883-1957) - a designer of more than six hundred woodblock prints, Kawase Hasui is one of the most famous designers of the shin-hanga movement of the early twentieth century. Hasui began his career with the artist and woodblock designer Kaburaki Kiyokata (1878-1971), joining several artistic societies along the way early in his career. It wasn't until he joined the Watanabe atelier in 1918 that he really began to gain recognition. Watanabe Shōzaburō (1885-1962) had Hasui design landscapes of the Japanese country-side, small towns, and everyday life. Hasui also worked closely with the carvers and printers of his prints to reach the level Hasui wanted his prints to be. The print below is Kude Beach, Wakasa (1920) Tsuchiya Kōitsu (1870 - 1949) - apprenticed under artist and print designer Kobayashi Kiyochika (1847-1915), and worked as a lithographer. Kōitsu then joined the Watanabe atelier in 1935. Kōitsu also collaborated with Doi Sadachi publishers, amongst others. Below is Suma Beach (1938) James Abbott McNeil Whistler (1834-1903) - was an American painter based in Britain. His paintings are generally of landscapes of lonely terrain, as well as of portraits. His most famous painting is of his mother.  His complete works can be found, here.  Utagawa Hiroshige (1797-1858) - born in Edo, Hiroshige is famous for his landscape series of that burgeoning city. The most famous series being, One Hundred Famous Views of Edo (1856-1859), and the landcape series, Fifty-Three Stations of the Tōkaidō (1833-1834). His work highlights bokashi, and bright colours. More info about his work can be found, here. Below is, Coastal Landscape In Moonlight (1857) Gustav Klimt (1862-1918) -  was a Viennese born artist who was a part of the art nouveau, and Vienna Secessionist movements.  His subjects were, generally, of women. More information can be found, here. Vincent Van Gogh (1853-1890) - was a Dutch post-Impressionist painter. He began to collect Japanese woodblock prints around the winter of 1886-1887 from the art dealer Siegfried Bing, to collect and to sell for a profit, although he didn't sell very many. This collection would go on to influence much of his work.  Red Fuji - also called “Fine Wind, Clear Morning,” is a woodblock print designed by Katsushika Hokusai (1760-1849) and made around 1830-1832.  The Great Wave off Kanagawa - is a woodblock print designed by Katsushika Hokusai in 1831. It is very famous.  Hokusai Updated - was an exhibition held at the Mori Art Museum in the Roppongi area of Tōkyō which ran from January, 17th, 2019 to March, 24th, 2019.  Hokusai manga - first published in 1814 these comical figures, lansdscapes, flowers, and other various images were created by the woodblock designer and artist Katsushika Hokusai. Beginning with Volume 1, “Transmitting the Spirit and Revealing the Form of Things,” the series became impressively popular and was continually produced, in fifteen volumes, until 1878, and in woodblock print form.  More information from the Princeton Library can be found, here.  Kawanabe Kyōsai (1831-1889) - was a woodblock print designer and painter who focused on dark, devious, ghostly images and even some war prints.  Kyōsai's work has had a resurgence the passed decade with many people outside of the woodblock print community. More information can be found, here. Below is his triptych, Demon's Out. The Western influence on the Japanese print market - Western collectors have had a deep affinity for Japanese woodblock prints since the late 19th Century. In 1891, the print curator of the Boston Museum of Fine Arts held a Japanese print exhibition at the Smithsonian and in many ways, helped usher in a love for the Japanese woodblock print in America. As the popularity of Japanese woodblock prints began to grow, with more foreign artists living and working in Japan and abroad, such as Emil Orlik (1870-1932), Bertha Lum (1869-1954), and Helen Hyde (1868-1919) who started making their own woodblock prints. This new awareness of contemporary and vintage Japanese woodblock prints began to foster more collecting. As time has gone on, and with the Japanese woodblock print becoming so famous in the West, prices in Japan have begun to climb steadily, with more collectors in Japan collecting woodblock prints.   sensō-e - are Japanese woodblock prints which focus on war. They can be single panel, diptych and triptych's. Complicated woodblock techniques were used, which highlighted war, specifically the first  Sino-Japanese War (1894-1895). Artists such as Kobayashi Kiyochika designed prints for this war, the beginning of the Japanese Imperialist project. More information can be found, here. Below is Great Victory and Occupation of Jiuliancheng (1894) by Watanabe Nobukazu (1874-1944)  Shirō Kasamatsu (1898-1991) - was a woodblock print designer who worked with the Watanabe atelier making shin-hanga designs. Below is Mount Wakakusa (ca. 1930) and Mountains Cottage in Spring (ca. 1960's) Floating World Gallery - is a Chicago-based  brick and mortar / online Japanese woodblock print outlet in operation since 1987.  Focusing on all genres of Japanese woodblock prints. They are 4.5” x 28” and were attached to pillars in Japanese homes. Associated with the 18th Century. More info can be fond, here. Below is Cherry and the Moon, by Yoshimoto Gesso (ca. 1910-1930) Yoshimoto Gesso (1881-1936) - was a shin-hanga print designer who designed many landscapes, birds, and flowers. More info, here. Below is his Blue Bird and Asters (ca.1930's) surimono (摺物)-  are privately commissioned woodblock prints, usually containing specialty techniques such as mica, and blind embossing. Below is Heron and Iris, (ca. 1770's) by Andō Hiroshige (1797-1858). In The Doll World is joined by most versatile & distinguished repaint artists in the doll community Noel Cruz.  www.inthedollworld.com/episodesI have always admired his brilliant work and what a wonderful conversation we had as he shared his journey from drawing portraits since the age of 12 to becoming such a renowned repaint artist, to repainting the most precious doll in his collection.  Although Noel is most recognized for his character & celebrity-based dolls due to their uncanny resemblance to the people they portray, such as Farrah Fawcett, Lindsey Wagner and Johnny Depp to Michael Jackson, Diana Ross and Cher just to name a few in his extensive line of iconic repaints,  there is one doll that is not based on a celebrity, and it was during a beautiful moment as he was sharing that doll with me, that I literally was in tears as he talked about the one doll that he had repainted that is the most precious to him.We also talk about his process, the hardest area for him to repaint as well as the one thing you that you must get right in order to be true to the repaint. Can you guess what they are before you listen to the show? His dolls are derived from several models like Gene, Tyler, Sydney, etc, by various doll-makers such as Mel Odom, Robert Tonner & Franklin Mint. His repaints as well as his portraits are done with intricate detail to the point of being naturally lifelike in essence. He also asks to give a big shout out to MEL ODOM for creating the beautiful doll Gene Doll which has been a very versatile canvas for him work with.  Thank you, Mel from Noel!To see more of Noel's amazing work, visit www.ncruz.com #inthedollworld #inthedollworldpodcast #noelcruz #repaintartist #OOAK #georgettetaylor #georgettetaylorITDWTo subscribe to In The Doll World visit www.inthedollworld.com or follow us on Instagram @inthedollworldIn The Doll World is now on Alexa, to listen to our newest episodes just say, "Alexa open Doll World"

I'm time-lining, storyboarding out the entire thing. If you knew how much goes into Funnel Hacking live, you'd be pretty excited. For those who have been in the past, you know it is a huge show. And for those who haven't been yet, this year is going to be the best ever. And why? Because, number one, I'm hoping by then, most of the COVID restrictions are done and we can just have a normal event. If not, we've got some backup and contingency plans. But for most of us, we haven't hung out for a long time, and I want to get together, hang out with a bunch of funnel hackers. So the parties on. We're doing it. It's happening in Florida. If you don't have your tickets yet, go to funnelhackinglive.com. It's coming up this September. But regardless, the reason why I'm here today is tell you guys I've been planning this event and I've got some really cool stuff I'm going to share. We have some big updates. There's so much, so much stuff that they're constraining me from speaking. I'm not allowed to tell you guys, but regardless, I promise you, you will want to be there. It's going to be worth it. We do have virtual options this year, and so for those who can't physically come, you can watch. You can attend virtually as well. But anyway, I'm working on some ideas for content and I have something I want to talk about. It's been on my mind for literally, probably 10, 12 years, and it's this concept of virtual real estate. Okay? Obviously, most of you guys know what real estate is, right? You buy houses, you flip houses, you rehab houses, no money down, all this stuff. There's a million different ways to make money in real estate. But as cool as that is, real estate typically cost a lot of money if you go and do the thing, which is kind of annoying. And so, I want to talk about this concept called virtual real estate, which is web properties. What's interesting is anything you can do with a real property, like actual real estate, you can do the same things with virtual real estate, especially as you start becoming a master of all these principles and these concepts you've been learning from us, right? You learn about funnel building and traffic generation and copy and storytelling and all these things. When you learn and start mastering these things, you can literally do the exact same things that people are doing with real estate, but with virtual real estate. And honestly, it's a lot more profitable, a lot less startup costs and things like that. For example, let's say I want to go into actual real estate. So I'm going to go find a house and I'm going to find a house that's underpriced. I'm going to buy it. So say I find a house for 200 grand or whatever. I buy this house. I'm going to take them. I'm going to fix it up. I'm going to slap some paint on it. I'm going to throw in a new washer and dryer, a new refrigerator. I'm going to, whatever, lipstick and rouge to make this house nice, and then I'm to go flip it and make like $50,000 profit, right? There's a strategy in regular real estate, right? Now, you may be saying, "Well, how does that work in virtual real estate?" Okay. Well, there's a lot of people who create some insanely cool products who don't know what you know, and there's a lot of places to find these things. One of them is flippa.com, which is a cool place that is literally a marketplace, people selling websites and products and businesses that they created but they couldn't figure it out. And there's tons of other marketplaces. I don't have them here on top of my head, but Flippa is one of my favorites I go to. Almost daily, I look at Flippa. There's other ones out there. I think Shopify's got a marketplace, all their old Shopify store owners to sell there's. Anyway, there's a lot of out there. But basically you go to these stores and you find something where someone's got a really, really cool product, but they suck at what? All the stuff that you're good at, right? It's like a house, that you find this underpriced house. Yeah, the house looks like crap, but I know all you got to do is throw some lipstick on this thing, some paint, a new refrigerator, and this thing's something going to be worth $50,000 more. Right? You can do the same thing online. You can buy a website for five grand, 10 grand, 50 grand, 100 grand, whatever it is, a lot less typically than a house. You buy the thing and say, "Okay. I know these principles now. I understand this thing needs a funnel. I found a Shopify that's got a whole product line, whole bunch of SKUs, but no one's buying it because there's no funnel. So I know how to build a funnel." Right? Your funnel is your version of some paint you're slapping up on thing, or you're putting in a new fridge and a dishwasher to make the resell value go up. You put a funnel in. You guys know traffic generation after read traffic secrets. You plug in some traffic, start driving traffic. People go through the funnel. You make some money and follow up sequence, then plugs them into the Shopify store. And boom, all of a sudden, this thing that's making no money you buy for five grand is now making five grand a month, 10 grand a month, 100 grand a month, whatever it is. Now you can take that and you can flip it, or you can just keep it like cash flow. Right? You can do the same thing with a house. You can let the house cashflow, or you can flip it or a whole bunch of other things. Okay. It's powerful. I think this is primarily my fault. I obviously am very passionate and excited about me and you guys creating businesses out of our minds, like creating courses and products. I talk a lot about that or creating e-commerce stuff. You go and you find a product and you source it from China or whatever. We talk about those things a lot. But what people don't talk about is the fact that there's tons, millions of businesses that people built that are there that are just dead or they're mostly dead. Well, you can come in and buy them at a huge discount where the product's figured out, the content, that all the stuff's done. They just don't have traffic. They just don't have the funnel. They just don't have a good video. They don't have good storytelling. They don't have like the things that you have now. You don't have to go create anything from scratch. You just go buy these things for pennies on a dollar. Buy it, apply it with lipstick and rouge that you've been learning through all the stuff I've been teaching now for the last two decades. And all of a sudden, you can start making money out of the gate. And so, secretly, as I've been thinking about Funnel Hacking Live now for the last year, since we hung out last, I've been thinking about this. I was like, "I want to do this. I want to show some case studies of me doing it." And so when COVID hit, a lot of businesses went under. A lot of businesses got shut down. A lot of them, they lost their cashflow. A lot of them, like all sorts of things start happening. So I started looking for these opportunities and I started buying a handful of them. I won't be able to show you guys now because we're in the process of... At Funnel Hacking Live, I'll be able to show you, "Hey, I bought this company right here. I bought it for $50,000. I applied this funnel, this traffic strategy, these three things, put it up online. Now it's making 10 grand a month. I bought this one right here for this. I bought this one for free. I just had to cover the new inventory costs, paid for inventory costs. I applied this funnel, this funnel, this funnel, boom, launched it and look what happened." I'm going to have tons of case studies to show you guys. So that's kind of something to look forward to Funnel Hacking Live. But for right now, I want you guys thinking about it as well. Okay? It's on my mind. It's fun. It's exciting. Think about it. What businesses are out there that you could buy, you could partner with, you could take equity in? You went out of business. You could go get the assets and you can turn it back into a business. You turn it back on. If you look at Tai Lopez right now. You could say what you want. Some people love it. Some people hate him. I have so much respect for him. I think he's the man. I've hung out with him a bunch of times, and one thing that he's killing on right now, he went and he bought Radio Shack. They're going under. He bought Radio Shack and he's flipping it now. He bought Franklin Mint. He bought Pier One Imports. He's buying all these crazy companies. It is literally nuts. He's buying them for pennies on the dollar, flipping them, turning them into e-commerce, shutting down the physical locations, and he's killing it with it right now. It's like this is what I'm talking but at a small scale. Tai's doing this huge scale. Even I'm like, "That's ridiculous. You bought Pier One Imports, dude, like that's nuts." Or Radio Shack? Come on, Radio Shack? It's just insane, but that's the deals he's doing now which, yeah, we can get there someday. But right now, there's tons of little deals, tons of little things you can go. And just for today, for fun, go to flippa.com, F-L-I-P-P-A .com. Go there and just scroll through. Look for all the businesses that are for sale and just look at them and say... This is the mental exercise. Look at a business and say, "Okay, this is a house. I'm going to rehab this house. If I was to buy this house, what funnels would I apply to make this thing successful?" For example, one of the ones that I am recently acquired is a supplement company. And so supplement companies, they had a Shopify store. They had product. The products are really, really good, but they don't have funnels. So what funnels would I apply? I'm like, well, first off, they need a supplement funnel. So there's a supplement funnel. Second, I'm like, what can we create to get more people into the funnel? Well, we can make a challenge tied to the supplements. There's a challenge funnel. There's a supplement funnel, and so those things. Then it's like now... the people that had it before, they had a lot of organic traffic. They were selling on Amazon and things like that, but they had no traffic. It's like, well, who's our dream 100? What's the traffic strategy? And then it's like, well, they don't have anything to sell us other than just a picture of the product. What's the story we can tell? What's the videos we can make to capture the story of this product? And so I'm just going through dot-com secrets, expert secrets, traffic secrets, applying, applying, applying these little principles that you've been getting forever. We'll launch this company and it'll be live before Funnel Hacking Live. You'll have a chance to see it, but that's what we're doing. That's the game plan. So if you guys go look at that, and really what's nice about this is a lot of times you can buy these things for pennies on the dollar. You don't have to go and actually be the front person, the guru, whatever. You just got to create the different assets, create the pieces, plug them all in there, and that quickly you guys have, just again, it's just lipstick and rouge, is you're putting the paint up on the house. You're plugging in the whatever's on the front end. You're fixing the washer and dryer, where those things are. And all of a sudden, you guys' business is cranking. Again, imagine you buy a business for five grand, and within, by applying two funnels and one traffic strategy or one funnel and two traffic strategies, now it's netting five grand a month. Holy cow! How many times could you do that? Just because you may not be able to like, "Ah, I'm not good on video. I don't know how to create a product. I don't remember frameworks like you could." All the excuses that so many people have when they hear my stuff. It's like, "Cool, then don't." Go buy something and let's rehab it. Let's fix it. Let's flip it. Let's cashflow it. There's so many strategies that are so simple, and all of this is taking the same principles that you've learned, that you understand, that we've been talking about and applying it to these kinds of business. So there you go. Hope that helps. Hope it gives you some ideas. If you're not at Funnel Hacking Live, you're insane. We're going to be going deep in this stuff. It's going to be so much fun. Make sure you're there. I'll be sharing these case studies examples, showing you guys what we're doing, how we're doing it, why we're doing it, and hopefully get you fired up and excited. With that said, I am going to go to flippa.com and go find another business to buy because I need some more case studies for you guys. So appreciate you all. Hope this helps. Hope to get the wheels in your head spinning, and I'll see you guys at Funnel Hacking Live. Go get your tickets, funnelhackinglive.com. Thanks everybody, and we'll see you soon. Bye.

Kenneth Harold Smith has been jailed three times for grand theft, drug possession, firing a gun in a home invasion and assault and battery on a former employer over $10.00.   10/2/00 When Carole Lewis served Lysa Smith with her three day notice, for non payment of rent, Lysa commanded her Siberian Husky to attack Carole Lewis.  The dog refused and Smith's anger was turned to cursing out the dog.   10/3/00 Kenneth Smith came over Lewis's electronic gate with a shovel and cut her power lines.  Lysa Smith then called Lewis and told her they had cut off the power.  Later in person, Lysa Smith said it was so that they could get a “clear shot” at Lewis when she would get out of her car to open and close the gate manually.  This was reported to the Hillsborough County Sheriff's office and Deputy Vidal investigated the report but said that a Trespass Warrant would not do Lewis any good. Vidal did not write up a report, but said that there would be an “incident report” on file with the Sheriff's office.   1/12/01 after being served with a Writ of Eviction, earlier in the day,  Kenneth Smith, Jr. chased Carole Lewis to the gate to her home, cursing at her and throwing lumber from the fence of hers that he has been tearing down.  He said, “Hey b***h, hey c***t, I'm going to kill you!”   1/17/01 The eviction was cancelled due to Kenneth Smith, Sr. filing Bankruptcy.  Although  the Deputy knew that the eviction had been cancelled several days prior, he did not bother to call Carole Lewis and inform her.  It was on record that Carole Lewis' life had been threatened, yet no precaution was taken to prevent her from being attacked while waiting over an hour for the deputy to show up.  It was not until Carole Lewis called the Sheriff's dispatch looking for the deputy that she was informed of the cancellation.   That same day, Carole Lewis went to speak to the deputy in person and he said it was not his problem and that he was under no obligation to call Carole Lewis and let Carole Lewis know that he had cancelled the eviction.  His cancellation was based upon the Bankruptcy of someone who was not even on the lease.   Sgt. Roland Corrales, Sr. was summoned when Carole Lewis asked to speak to the Sheriff's Department's legal counsel.  Sgt. Corrales said that he could have put the Smith's out of the property, since the bankrupt father was not on the lease but that it was a waste of his time to do so, because the Smith's would just then move back in after he left.  Carole Lewis told both he and the serving Deputy (Miller?) that the Smith's were constantly threatening her and harassing her and that they had put her life in serious danger by not advising her that they would not be there at the date and time on the Service of Writ.  Sgt. Corrales said it wasn't his responsibility to call Carole Lewis.   1/24/01 Kenneth Smith, Jr. chased Carole Lewis as she was leaving her home.  He chased her truck out into the street screaming obscenities and waving a hand that was wrapped in a large white cloth.  It was later discovered that he had ordered a John Wayne Commemorative Rifle from the Franklin Mint.  (His trash blew into Lewis' yard and there was a collection notice on the gun in the debris).  Carole Lewis wrote the Franklin Mint to ask if the gun were lethal and was advised that it would blow up if someone tried to shoot it, because it was not meant for firing.  Did Smith injure his hand while trying to shoot Carole Lewis with this rifle?   1/27/01 11:45 am or so, Kenneth Smith, Jr. again chased Carole Lewis out into the street as she exited her home.  This time his hand had a large bandage on it.  Until Carole Lewis was completely out of sight, Smith stood in the street, with his hands cupped around his mouth, shouting obscenities.   2/4/01  Carole Lewis came home Sunday night, around 6:30 pm and saw a pipe shaped object, jammed behind her mail box flag handle and wrapped in plastic.   This was a report given to the bomb squad who came out to diffuse the mailbox.
