Have you ever found yourself prepping everything before you leave the house—or swooping in to “just fix it” when your partner handles a parenting moment differently than you would? It might feel helpful or necessary in the moment, but over time, it can quietly erode your partnership and leave you feeling more like a manager than a teammate. In this episode, I'm breaking down the hidden cost of stepping in too often, why it happens (hint: it's not just about your spouse), and how you can begin to shift this pattern in a way that benefits everyone in your family. This isn't about blame—it's about awareness, relief, and building the kind of marriage where you feel held, supported, and safe to let go a little. Tune in to discover: The deeper reasons why moms step in, even when they don't want to What stepping in too often teaches your partner (and why it's not helping) The emotional weight of always being “on” and how it builds resentment The powerful mindset shift that helped me finally stop doing it all Conversations that build real partnership instead of more to-do lists Connect with me for a FREE Married After Kids Intervention Call: https://marriedafterkids.satoriapp.com/offers/277730-married-after-kids-intervention-call FREE Marriage Shutdown Checklist: https://marriedafterkids.com/marriage-shutdown?utm_source=podcast&utm_medium=links&utm_campaign=MSoptin FREE TRAINING! Welcome to the 55th episode in my drug pronunciations series. In the episode, I divide oxcarbazepine and Trileptal into syllables, tell you which syllables to emphasize, and share my sources. We don't cover pharmacology in this series. Just pronunciations. Today's drug name was chosen from Davis's Drug Guide for Nurses, Seventh Edition. Written pronunciations are helpful! They are below and in the show notes on https://www.thepharmacistsvoice.com/podcast. oxcarbazepine = OX-kar-BAZ-e-peen The first two syllables sound like “box-car.” (Drop the “B.”) Baz, like basketball e, which is a short “e” sound, like the “E” in the middle of the word Elephant Peen, like a ball peen hammer Emphasize OX and BAZ. BAZ gets the most emphasis. Sources: USP Dictionary Online and MedlinePlus.gov Trileptal = tri-LEP-tal Try, like you're trying to say this drug name Lep, as in epiLEPsy Tal, like the last syllable in the word, “accidental” Emphasize the middle syllable, LEP. Source: The medication guide for Trileptal on the FDA's website If you know someone who would like to learn how to say oxcarbazepine or Trileptal, please share this episode with them. In this episode, I expose the growing "gooning" phenomenon that's destroying men's brains and sexual health. I break down how this extreme form of edging—using external visual stimulation to maintain maximum arousal for hours—fries your dopamine receptors, leads to depression, anxiety, and erectile dysfunction, and represents a disturbing shift toward isolated sexuality. Drawing from my own experiences and ancient wisdom traditions, I contrast this harmful practice with a truly beneficial approach to edging that actually increases vitality, sexual control, and overall wellbeing. I reveal exactly how to practice "relaxed edging" without porn by staying in a parasympathetic state, maintaining deep breathing, and keeping your pelvic floor relaxed—transforming masturbation from a depleting addiction into a resensitizing practice that enhances your entire life.Registration for Multi-Orgasmic Man is now OPEN!

This episode is a game-changer for anyone seeking to optimize their healthspan, combat chronic disease, and understand the revolutionary science of fasting-mimicking diets (FMD). Dr. Joseph Antoun, a physician-scientist and longevity pioneer, unveils how to "hack" aging at the cellular level, exposes hidden dangers in the food industry, and shares actionable steps to reverse biological age. Perfect for: Those curious about fasting, autophagy, and metabolic health. Anyone managing diabetes or seeking sustainable weight care. Listeners tired of quick fixes and eager for science-backed longevity strategies. Key TakeawaysFasting-Mimicking Diets (FMD) vs. Traditional Fasting: FMD triggers autophagy (cellular detox) by Day 3 without starvation. ProLon's 5-day plant-based kit reverses biological age by 2.5 years per cycle (3 cycles/year = ~11.5 years younger over 20 years). Diabetes & Metabolic Health: FMD addresses root causes (aging cells, muscle loss, insulin resistance) — 66% reduce diabetes meds in 6 months. Ozempic/GLP-1 drugs accelerate muscle loss (equivalent to 20 years of aging), while FMD preserves muscle. Food Industry Secrets: U.S. companies legally hide additives under 2% (e.g., silica in protein powders). ProLon's “longevity pantry” (clean protein, almond-cacao spreads) prioritizes transparency. Daily Longevity Habits: Eat dinner by 6 PM, prioritize breakfast. Focus on daily movement (not just gym sessions) to maintain muscle. She earned her PharmD from Creighton University in 2016 and has since had a broad pharmacy career spanning retail, hospital, consulting, and medical affairs. Combining clinical expertise with lived experience, Danielle specializes in supporting pregnant patients, particularly those suffering from Hyperemesis Gravidarum (HG). After studying treatments for other diseases of malnutrition in pharmacy school, she became certified in pharmacogenetics and as an antepartum doula. This, along with a community of pharmacy entrepreneurs, inspired her to launch HG Pharmacist©, a blog to share information about HG, which later grew into Obstet-Rx©, a consulting company offering personalized medication management and patient advocacy to women worldwide. Her subject matter expertise has led to board member appointments, speaking engagements, and media contributions for international magazines. In her work as an MSL, she has supported diagnostics for preeclampsia (sFlt-1/PlGF) and procalcitonin, as well as therapies for iron deficiency anemia and small cell lung cancer. Through her podcast, Danielle shows how pharmacists play a key role in improving maternal outcomes. (End bio) Backstory Danielle and I met at Medipreneurs several years ago and have kept in touch. They discuss Edith's journey from aspiring prosecutor to solo practitioner, the unique field of 'crimigration', and how creativity plays a vital role in her legal practice.
