Willst du es allen rechtmachen? Eusebius von Cäsarea berichtet gar, er habe Selbstmord begangen. Jedenfalls zeigt er: Wer seiner Gefallsucht nachgibt, bekommt die genau Probleme, die er zu vermeiden suchte. Für Jesus war das Höchste wiederum, dem Vater zu gefallen, selbst wenn das schmerzhaft war. Was hat es ihm gebracht? Doch gibt es antike außerbiblische Quellen von Autoren, die keine Christen waren, die das Leben, Sterben und die Auferstehung von Jesus Christus bezeugen.Josephus, ein jüdischer Geschichtsschreiber in Diensten der Römer, schrieb im Jahr 93 n. Chr.: »Um diese Zeit lebte Jesus, ein weiser Mann, wenn man ihn überhaupt einen Menschen nennen darf. Er vollbrachte nämlich ganz unglaubliche Taten und war der Lehrer aller Menschen ... Und obgleich ihn Pilatus auf Betreiben der Vornehmsten unseres Volkes zum Kreuzestod verurteilte, wurden doch seine früheren Anhänger ihm nicht untreu. Denn er erschien ihnen am dritten Tage wieder lebend, wie gottgesandte Propheten dies und tausend andere wunderbare Dinge von ihm vorhergesagt hatten. Es ist nur eine winzige Notiz in der Bibel. Aber sie hat unzählige Menschen inspiriert. Im Matthäusevangelium wird erzählt, dass die Ehefrau des Pilatus einen Traum hatte. Diese Notiz eröffnet mit wenigen Worten ein große theologische Weite. Und kratzt an allzu festgefahrenen Vorstellungen von Gott. Diese Predigt ist Teil der Sommerpredigtreihe 2025. La carrera en la AGA consta de cinco cursos y la Princesa Leonor se ha incorporado hoy a las clases del cuarto curso, aunque tendrá que cursar también algunas de las materias propias de tercero. De los dos primeros cursos queda exenta porque se entiende que ya ha recibido esa formación en las academias de Zaragoza y en el Juan Sebastián Elcano. A partir de tercero es cuando se comienza a pilotar y es ahí donde se centrará su formación a nivel elemental y básico. Comenzando con la parte teórica y acabando con la conocida como "suelta". Toda esta formación la hará con un único aparato, el Pilatus que recientemente ha sustituído a los famosos C101. Finalmente, egresará de la AGA en la promoción que este año está en quinto porque ese último curso curso está dedicado a la especialización en cazas de combate, helicópteros o aviones de transporte y la carrera militar de la princesa no lo contempla.

Edwin Jonker is acteur. Hij studeerde twee jaar Geschiedenis aan de Universiteit van Amsterdam, maar maakte daarna de stap naar het acteren. Hij was in het theater onder andere te zien als Tom Collins in ‘Rent', waarvoor hij in 2001 een John Kraaijkamp Musical Award voor beste mannelijke bijrol ontving. Ook speelde hij in voorstellingen als ‘Sister Act' en ‘The Lion King' en vorig jaar won hij een Musical Award voor beste mannelijke bijrol, voor zijn rol als Pilatus in ‘Jesus Christ Superstar'. Jonker, die ook in series en films als ‘Goede tijden, slechte tijden', ‘Verliefd op Bali' en ‘Dochters' te zien was, vertolkt nu de rol van Hades in theatervoorstelling ‘HADESTOWN'. Deze wereldwijde musicalsensatie, die werd bekroond met acht Tony Awards en een Grammy Award, komt deze zomer voor het eerst naar Nederland. Twee oude liefdesverhalen komen samen in een nieuw, modern jasje: dat van de jonge dromers Orpheus en Eurydice, en dat van Koning Hades en zijn vrouw Persephone.  Lotje IJzermans gaat met Edwin Jonker in gesprek.

Die Neugier anderer sollte nicht über dein Mitteilungsbedürfnis entscheiden. Als ein Freund Jesu dessen Verhaftung verhindern wollte, sprach Jesus: „Wisst ihr denn nicht, dass ich meinen Vater um Tausende von Engeln bitten könnte… und er würde sie sofort schicken?” (Mt 26,53 NLB). Als Jesus im Gerichtssaal des Pilatus stand, hatte nicht Pilatus die Macht, sondern Jesus! Die Bibel sagt: „Er tat seinen Mund nicht auf” (Jes 53,7 EÜ). Jesus stand einfach da und sagte nichts. Warum? Er kannte seine Bestimmung und, noch wichtiger, er kannte seinen himmlischen Vater sehr genau. Wenn du Gott kennst, kannst du allem mit Zuversicht begegnen und dir sogar die Freiheit nehmen, nichts zu sagen. Manchmal ist es klug zu sagen: „Jetzt gerade habe ich keine Antwort, aber ich werde nachdenken, beten und wieder auf dich zukommen.” „Ein weiser Mensch preist sein Wissen nicht an, die Narren aber posaunen ihren Unsinn aus” (Spr 12,23 NLB). Wenn Menschen dringend auf Antworten warten, werden sie versuchen, dich unter Druck zu setzen, damit du etwas sagst, bevor du alle Fakten kennst oder die Gelegenheit hattest, zu beten und die Situation sorgfältig zu prüfen. Bittest du Gott, sagt er dir, was du sagen sollst und wann du es sagen sollst. Er verspricht: „Ich habe dir meine Worte in den Mund gelegt, im Schatten meiner Hand habe ich dich verborgen” (Jes 51,16 EÜ). Der Stolz sagt: „Steh nicht nur da, sag etwas!” Die Weisheit sagt: „Sag nicht nur etwas, steh da!” Bitte Gott im Stillen um Einsicht. Ein Gedanke von ihm kann das Problem schnell lösen.

Kisah Para Rasul 25: 13-21; Mazmur tg 103: 1-2.11-12.19-20ab; Yohanes 21: 15-19.PEMBENARAN KITADARI TUHAN Tema renungan kita pada hari ini ialah: Pembenaran Kita Dari Tuhan.Pembenaran kita dari Tuhan bermakna suatu tindakan Tuhan yang membenarkan danmemperkuatkan martabat kita sebagai putra dan putri-Nya, yang berartimemisahkan kita dari kuasa jahat dan duniawi yang ingin menjauhkan kitadaripada-Nya. Contoh paling nyata ialah pengadilan Paulus di hadapan penguasa duniawiatas dasar iman dan keyakinan yang ia anut dan ajarkan. Yesus Kristus mengalamiyang sama ketika Ia dihadapkan ke Pilatus. Di situ terlihat pembenaran dariTuhan sangat nyata, terungkap baik melalui perkataan maupun tindakan sehinggadi satu pihak berdiri tegak kebenaran dari Allah berhadapan dengan kebenarandari dunia ini. Klimaksnya jelas, kebenaran dari Tuhan harus melepaskan diridari dunia ini untuk kembali kepada pemiliknya, yaitu Tuhan sendiri. Hal inidilakukan melalui sebuah kematian di dunia ini, supaya mendapatkan kehidupan diakhirat. Pengadilan Paulus terkait evangelisasi yang dilakukan Gereja Perdana,sementara ada juga pengadilan yang dialami Petrus saat ia di”adili” secarakhusus oleh Yesus sendiri. Istilah “diadili” oleh Yesus dimaksudkan untukmenempatkan seseorang pantas dan benar di hadapan Tuhan. Petrus diinterogasisoal ketulusan, iman dan komitmennya untuk mengikuti Kristus. Petrus terkenaldengan bicara tanpa banyak pikir, maka sering keliru dan salah sasaran. Denganpengadilan itu Petrus dapat sampai kepada komitmennya bersamaan denganpengangkatannya untuk menjadi pemimpin Gereja. Pembenaran melalui pengadilan, entah oleh instrumen penegakan hukum negaraentah oleh Tuhan sendiri, harus patuh pada salah satu syaratnya yangfundamental ialah objektivitas. Nurani banyak orang, masyarakat dan pendapatumum yang membentuk objektivitas itu. Sedangkan jika pembenaran itu hanyadatang dari satu atau dua orang, yang jelas melawan nurani banyak orang, itupasti melawan kebenaran.  Oleh karena itu suara dan kehendak Tuhan didapatkan melalui pendapatbersama dalam Gereja yang difasilitasi oleh para pemimpinnya. Di situpembenaran atas sikap hidup dan penghayatan iman kita diberlakukan. Jadi kalauAnda mendapatkan absolusi dalam pengakuan dosa yang diberikan oleh Gerejamelalui seorang bapak pengakuan, itu merupakan pembenaran bagi diri Anda. Tuhanmembenarkan kita di dunia ini melalui instrumen-instrumen yang sah, dan satuyang paling utama ialah Gereja. Marilahkita berdoa. Dalam nama Bapa... Ya Allah maha baik, tambahkanlah keberanian dankekuatan kami untuk dapat menghadapi aneka macam kesulitan dan pengaruh jahat,sehingga kami boleh menikmati suatu pembenaran dari-Mu dan berusahamenghayatinya melalui tutur kata dan perbuatan di sepanjang hidup kami.Kemuliaan kepada Bapa dan Putra dan Roh Kudus ... Dalam nama Bapa...

"Apabila Herodes melihat Yesus, dia sangat gembira. Sudah lama dia hendak bertemu dengan Yesus kerana dia telah mendengar banyak hal tentang Yesus. Lagipun, dia berharap dapat menyaksikan Yesus melakukan mukjizat" (Lukas 23:8).Kenapa Pontius Pilatus mengutus Yesus Mesias kepada Herodes Antipas? Kenapa Herodes "sangat gembira" melihat Yesus? Kenapa perbicaraan terhadap Yesus ini boleh menjadikan Pilatus dan Herodes bersahabat semula? Dan apa dua (2) hal kritikal yang kita harus elak untuk mengikuti Yesus sesungguhnya?

Alkitab menyatakan bahawa SEMUA anggota Majlis Agama bangun lalu membawa Yesus Mesias menghadap Pontius Pilatus. Mereka mula menuduh-Nya, “Kami telah mendapati orang ini menyesatkan bangsa kami, menghasut orang supaya tidak membayar cukai kepada Kaisar dan mengaku diri-Nya Kristus, seorang raja!” (Lukas 23:1-2)Menurut perspektif Majlis Agama atau Sanhedrin, kenapa mereka ingin membunuh Yesus? Kenapa pula mereka harus membawa Yesus menghadap Pilatus? Apakah tuduhan-tuduhan mereka terhadap-Nya? Kenapa Pilatus tidak mendapati Yesus bersalah? Apa kaitan semua ini dengan kita masa kini?

Der König stirbt – und alles steht still. Pilatus wäscht seine Hände in Unschuld, der Hauptmann erkennt Gottes Sohn – und Maria steht unter dem Kreuz. Diese Karfreitagsmeditation nimmt dich mit hinein in das Ringen, Fragen und Aushalten rund um das Leiden Jesu. Es ist ein Tag voller Dilemmata, voller Schmerz – und dennoch durchzogen von Gnade. Karfreitag bleibt offen, nicht perfekt aufgelöst. Und genau deshalb spricht er in unsere eigene Zerbrochenheit hinein.

Weil Rüsttag war und die Körper während des Sabbats nicht am Kreuz bleiben sollten – dieser Sabbat war nämlich ein großer Feiertag –, baten die Juden Pilatus, man möge ihnen die Beine zerschlagen und sie dann abnehmen. Also kamen die Soldaten und zerschlugen dem ersten die Beine, dann dem andern, der mit ihm gekreuzigt worden war. Als sie aber zu Jesus kamen und sahen, dass er schon tot war, zerschlugen sie ihm die Beine nicht, sondern einer der Soldaten stieß mit der Lanze in seine Seite und sogleich floss Blut und Wasser heraus. Und der es gesehen hat, hat es bezeugt und sein Zeugnis ist wahr. Und er weiß, dass er Wahres sagt, damit auch ihr glaubt. Denn das ist geschehen, damit sich das Schriftwort erfüllte: Man soll an ihm kein Gebein zerbrechen. Und ein anderes Schriftwort sagt: Sie werden auf den blicken, den sie durchbohrt haben. Josef aus Arimathäa war ein Jünger Jesu, aber aus Furcht vor den Juden nur im Verborgenen. Er bat Pilatus, den Leichnam Jesu abnehmen zu dürfen, und Pilatus erlaubte es. Also kam er und nahm den Leichnam ab. Es kam auch Nikodemus, der früher einmal Jesus bei Nacht aufgesucht hatte. Er brachte eine Mischung aus Myrrhe und Aloe, etwa hundert Pfund. Sie nahmen den Leichnam Jesu und umwickelten ihn mit Leinenbinden, zusammen mit den wohlriechenden Salben, wie es beim jüdischen Begräbnis Sitte ist. An dem Ort, wo man ihn gekreuzigt hatte, war ein Garten und in dem Garten war ein neues Grab, in dem noch niemand bestattet worden war. Wegen des Rüsttages der Juden und weil das Grab in der Nähe lag, setzten sie Jesus dort bei. 

Sie übernahmen Jesus. Und er selbst trug das Kreuz und ging hinaus zur sogenannten Schädelstätte, die auf Hebräisch Golgota heißt. Dort kreuzigten sie ihn und mit ihm zwei andere, auf jeder Seite einen, in der Mitte aber Jesus. Pilatus ließ auch eine Tafel anfertigen und oben am Kreuz befestigen; die Inschrift lautete: Jesus von Nazaret, der König der Juden. Diese Tafel lasen viele Juden, weil der Platz, wo Jesus gekreuzigt wurde, nahe bei der Stadt lag. Die Inschrift war hebräisch, lateinisch und griechisch abgefasst. Da sagten die Hohepriester der Juden zu Pilatus: Schreib nicht: Der König der Juden, sondern dass er gesagt hat: Ich bin der König der Juden. Pilatus antwortete: Was ich geschrieben habe, habe ich geschrieben. Nachdem die Soldaten Jesus gekreuzigt hatten, nahmen sie seine Kleider und machten vier Teile daraus, für jeden Soldaten einen Teil, und dazu das Untergewand. Das Untergewand war aber ohne Naht von oben ganz durchgewoben. Da sagten sie zueinander: Wir wollen es nicht zerteilen, sondern darum losen, wem es gehören soll. So sollte sich das Schriftwort erfüllen: Sie verteilten meine Kleider unter sich und warfen das Los um mein Gewand. Dies taten die Soldaten. Bei dem Kreuz Jesu standen seine Mutter und die Schwester seiner Mutter, Maria, die Frau des Klopas, und Maria von Magdala. Als Jesus die Mutter sah und bei ihr den Jünger, den er liebte, sagte er zur Mutter: Frau, siehe, dein Sohn. Dann sagte er zu dem Jünger: Siehe, deine Mutter! Und von jener Stunde an nahm sie der Jünger zu sich. Danach, da Jesus wusste, dass nun alles vollbracht war, sagte er, damit sich die Schrift erfüllte: Mich dürstet. Ein Gefäß voll Essig stand da. Sie steckten einen Schwamm voll Essig auf einen Ysopzweig und hielten ihn an seinen Mund. Als Jesus von dem Essig genommen hatte, sprach er: Es ist vollbracht! Und er neigte das Haupt und übergab den Geist. (Joh 19,16-30)

Founded in 2010 by three pilots in the Northeast, PALS SkyHope has conducted over 34,000 flights, serving more than 4,000 families. Beyond medical transport, they assist military veterans by flying them to camps designed for rehabilitation, as well as special events like Major League Baseball games. They also provide commercial airline tickets, through partnerships with JetBlue and Southwest, as backup transportation. Safety is a major focus, with pilots required to have at least 350 hours of PIC time and an instrument rating. PALS SkyHope provides risk assessment tools, town halls, and mentorship to support safe operations. Volunteer pilots primarily fly single-engine aircraft like Cirruses and Bonanzas, but some missions require larger planes due to the needs of passengers. The organization constantly seeks pilots, especially in the Eastern U.S., and relies on donations, marathons, and galas for funding. Adam emphasizes how volunteer flying gives pilots a meaningful reason to fly while making a real difference in people's lives, often significantly improving patient outcomes through faster, stress-free travel.
