Today, Steve Durbin and ISF Podcast Producer Tavia Gilbert are in conversation exploring the role of cybersecurity, governance and leadership in an age defined by rapid technological transformation. Artificial intelligence is now woven into daily business operations, risk models, customer engagement, and more. And while its benefits are significant, its risks are expanding just as quickly. Key Takeaways: It's becoming increasingly apparent for leaders that cyber impacts every part of the business. AI will not replace humans in the workplace, but rather redefine what work humans do. If you as a business leader don't have clarity about what your values and ethics are by now, you better get started. Tune in to hear more about: What happens if businesses don't implement a robust framework for ethical AI use (8:51) The role of the board when implementing AI into business operations (19:49) How to lead through change (24:20) Standout Quotes: “When cyber is involved early, it really can become a value enabler. It helps the business make smarter bets, helps it to avoid blind spots and build that sort of trust that we're looking for into everything that it does.” - Steve Durbin “AI, it does introduce huge amounts of potential, but it also introduces a new layer of risk that is more complicated, dynamic and probably difficult to manage than many people actually think or are prepared for. And one of the biggest challenges is that AI doesn't just create new vulnerabilities, it changes the nature of the threat landscape completely.” - Steve Durbin “AI is not some kind of future technology. It's been around for a very long time. Certainly in cyber terms anyway, at least 10 years, if not more. It's a lifetime in cyber, so it's not a future technology, it's here. It's shaping the way that we work, that we think, and indeed that we compete. So the question isn't whether we should engage with it, it's how do we do so responsibly and effectively. And the organizations that retain control are those that lead with clarity.” - Steve Durbin Read the transcript of this episode Subscribe to the ISF Podcast wherever you listen to podcasts Connect with us on LinkedIn and Twitter From the Information Security Forum, the leading authority on cyber, information security, and risk management.
What if the most powerful leadership tool wasn't a strategy or skill—but the courage to show up as your true self, even when it scares you? Showing up as your true self in leadership is important while bravery and self-awareness enable leaders to inspire and engage with others. In this episode of the Inspirational Leadership podcast, I speak with Kimberly Davis about practical strategies for measuring impact, staying values-aligned under pressure, and why bravery is the key to influential leadership. Kimberly is a TEDx speaker and her book, Brave Leadership: Unleash Your Most Confident, Authentic, and Powerful Self to Get the Results You Need, is the 2019 winner of the Benjamin Franklin Silver Award for Business and Career; an Amazon Bestseller; and was named as the number one book to read in Inc. Magazine's “The 12 Most Impactful Books to Read in 2018”. An expert on authentic leadership, Kimberly Davis shares her inspirational message of personal power, responsibility, and impact with organizations across the country and teaches leadership programs worldwide; most notably, her program “OnStage Leadership”. Listen in to learn why traditional definitions of success leave leaders feeling empty and how aligning actions with personal impact creates fulfillment and results. You will also learn why leaders must connect personally to their organization's mission and create an environment where individuals see their role as part of a greater impact. Key Takeaways: Understanding the connection between acting techniques and authentic leadership. How leaders can build trust and influence by showing up as their true selves. Leadership as a transformative process that benefits both leaders and those they inspire. The role of leadership in shaping an organization's mission beyond shareholder value. Common mistakes leaders make when trying to enforce purpose rather than inspire it. The shift from traditional command-and-control leadership to a more purpose-driven approach. How emerging leaders can navigate the challenges of modern leadership. Standout Quotes: “When a leader stops being in alignment with their purpose they suffer and their organization suffers.”- Kimberly [25:59] “I believe that emerging leaders are our future and if we want to see more purposeful leadership, we've got to start with emerging leaders.”- Kimberly [34:41] ⇢ Get full show notes and more information here: https://bit.ly/PodcastKimberlyDavis
Ready to transform how you understand yourself and others? Dr. David Snyder's face reading masterclass provides an opportunity for self-discovery and growth. By recognizing hidden emotional and spiritual patterns in facial features, you can uncover deeper insights about yourself and those around you. Improve your relationships, decision-making, and emotional intelligence with this powerful skill. It's time to stop feeling stuck and start exploring new opportunities for personal growth. Standout Quotes: “When you see a line that begins at the outer campus but starts to migrate in towards the nose, you're seeing a person who's wincing from physical pain.” – Dr. David Snyder “If you look at the earlobe and see little wrinkles, sometimes one, sometimes two, and every now and then, you'll see someone with three. This indicates somebody with blood pressure irregularities.” – Dr. David Snyder “Appeasement says somebody violates my boundary. I push back. They push back harder, and I say, okay, okay, whatever you want. Just don't hit me again.” – Dr. David Snyder “There are boundary violations in there somewhere. There are people who have an inordinate amount of sway in this person's life that they're working very hard not to upset.” – Dr. David Snyder “Identity by design is exactly what you would put somebody with these appeasement lines through because it helps to rebuild their boundaries, sense of self, and sense of deservingness.” – Dr. David Snyder Key Takeaways: Observe the lines and wrinkles on people's faces - they can reveal insights into their physical health, emotional state, and life experiences. Pay attention to the outer corners of the eyes, the earlobe, and the center of the forehead. Reflect on your own facial features - do you have any markings that could indicate past boundary violations or a tendency towards appeasement? Consider how this may be impacting your life and relationships. Explore techniques like chair therapy, dry crying, and regression to address deep-seated emotional wounds and traumas that may be manifesting in your physical appearance. Cultivate emotional poise and calmness, especially if you have a tendency towards hyper-reactivity. Practice grounding exercises to become less triggered by surprising or stressful situations. Seek out programs that can help you rebuild your sense of self, boundaries, and deservingness - empowering you to break free from limiting patterns. Dr. Snyder also explores how past experiences leave their mark, offering insights into reclaiming lost passions and overcoming emotional boundaries. By mastering these techniques, you can further greater self-awareness and build stronger relationships. Ready to transform the way you see yourself and others? Standout Quotes: “When you're born, you're as close to your original face as you'll ever be. When you hit your 40s and 50s, you've got the face you deserve.” – Dr. David Snyder “When the spiritual vessel merges more fully with the body, the body starts to get healthier. It reverses entropy.” – Dr. David Snyder “You can't arbitrarily set a time limit for how long you need to grieve, but anytime you see these signs, you're looking at unprocessed grief.” – Dr. David Snyder “You're not a body. You're a light creating a body. That body's appearance changes as your frequencies change.” – Dr. David Snyder “Anytime you see lines that travel diagonally down the side of the nose, you're seeing someone who is exhibiting a form of disempowerment.” – Dr. David Snyder Key Takeaways: Examine your face for signs of unprocessed emotions like sadness, sorrow, and grief - and commit to finding healthy ways to release and reframe these feelings. Reflect on your "golden path" - the spiritual mission and purpose you feel called to fulfill. Are you living in alignment with this path? If not, what steps can you take to reclaim your sense of meaning and fulfillment? Pay attention to any "disempowerment" or "appeasement" lines on your face - these may indicate past trauma or boundary violations. Consider seeking support to address and heal these wounds. Mindfulness is simply paying attention to the present moment with kindness and curiosity. Do you often say "yes" when you want to say "no," putting others' needs above your own? In this episode of the True Love Knots Podcast, Maria is joined by Barb Nagle, the "BNBC Coach," who shares her journey of overcoming codependency and building firm boundaries through 12-step recovery. Now a boundaries coach, Barb helps professional women—like her past self—create healthy boundaries that transform their lives and careers. Barb offers practical strategies to reduce guilt and reclaim personal power through tiered service packages, clear communication, and values-aligned boundaries. Ready to say “no” when it matters most? Tune in! Standout Quotes: “When one person in an interaction changes the dynamics with those around them, it automatically shifts things. You can't control other people, but you can influence them by changing the dance steps you share with them.” “I want the patriarchy to crumble, and that's not going to happen if we keep saying "yes" to everything.” “The hard part about setting boundaries is dealing with the emotions that arise, as guilt and shame are typically the feelings that come up.” Key Takeaways: Identify your top 5 core values and use them as guideposts to set boundaries that support and promote those values. Communicate your boundaries clearly and empowerfully rather than expecting others to know them. Don't be afraid to speak up when something doesn't work for you. Consider creating tiered service packages and communication boundaries to set healthy expectations with clients or customers, especially those you have existing relationships with. Reflect on where you may be saying "yes" when you really want to say "no." What is the cost to you, and how can you start setting more boundaries to prioritize your own needs? Surround yourself with a support system, whether it's a coach or a community, to help you navigate the emotions and challenges of setting boundaries, especially with loved ones. It helped me understand that I have something of value to bring to the table.” “It's really about where you're comfortable and the options available. Whether you're aiming to build deeper connections or protect yourself from manipulation, face reading offers a unique window into human behavior, equipping you with practical techniques for success and self-actualization. Standout Quotes: “When we talk about finding your mission in this life, the fact is that you have a natural GPS inside of you already, but most people don't realize it. That GPS is what lights you up.” – Dr. David Snyder “Cancer, for most people, is often seen as a metaphorical message from the nervous system, signaling that something deeper needs to be addressed.” – Dr. David Snyder “When you see cancer, or when you see these lines, it doesn't mean that they're going to get cancer. It means that if they keep going the way they're going, they could manifest it.” – Dr. David Snyder “Remember the golden rule of friendship: people like people who make them feel good about themselves.” – Dr. David Snyder Key Takeaways: Identify your "Golden Path" - the natural GPS within you that lights you up and aligns with your life's mission. Reflect on what activities, hobbies, or pursuits make you feel most fulfilled. Pay attention to the depth and length of facial lines - use this as a barometer for understanding someone's emotional health and whether they are living in alignment with their true self. He also explores how pleasure can trigger neurological change, and the crucial role emotions play in attraction and relationships. Standout Quotes: “When treating a physical illness, you don't just address the manifestation. There's a tumor, and there's the sensation of a tumor. But there's a reason that tumor's there, and there's a feeling connected to that reason.” - Dr. David Snyder “Your system is a kinesthetic sensing system; it's going to seek and create the events that you desire based on the feelings you're harboring inside of you.” - Dr. David Snyder “You are only as good as your ability to connect with the world, and by simply making people feel good, they will give you things.” - Dr. David Snyder “Understand, it doesn't have to be perfect; it just has to keep moving.” - Dr. David Snyder “Everything here can be accomplished on your own.” - Dr. David Snyder Key Takeaways: Use the power of pleasure and positive emotions to motivate yourself and trigger neurological changes. Eliminate negative emotions and blocks using visualization, energy work, and perspective shifting. Personal growth and transformation involve harnessing the power of your thoughts, emotions, and actions to manifest the best version of yourself. Today, David Snyder discusses vibrational alignment, personal growth and transformation, removing toxic coping mechanisms, and more. Standout Quotes: When you create a yin formation or an affirmation with this structure, your neurology automatically generates the belief system that would allow it to become true for you. Instead of coming up with a societal or religious reason, your neurology will reach into its most primal level that has the strongest motivating, harmonious connection to why that will allow you to generate that and the link it together. Remember, you have to jealously guard your vibration. That means you have to consciously choose who you hang out with; you have to consciously choose where you spend your time. Key Takeaways: Crafting affirmations empowers your neurology to naturally cultivate the beliefs necessary to turn your aspirations into reality. Unlocking your neurology's primal motivations creates a strong, harmonious connection to your goals, enabling you to achieve them with a strong drive. Guarding your vibration is essential. It involves deliberate choices in your associations and how you allocate your time. Be conscious and selective for a positive and high-vibrational life. Meeting with the family is tough, as you need to consider their feelings and try to find a way to fit in. But if you love your partner, you will make an effort to make sure that your partner's family will be happy as well. In today's episode of True Love Knots, Maria will share her thoughts about the latest episode of The Bachelor Show and shed some advice for people in similar situations. Tune in to learn more! Standout Quotes: When you're walking into this type of relationship, remember to tread cautiously, be who you are, and don't be overly friendly. I wonder if Gary's going to wind up staying with whoever he's chosen. Because what I think is, there's going to be a whole new world for him and for all of the women that were on as well. You can fall in love with somebody. You can fall in love if you choose to. Whoever you bring into your life, you want them to set an example for your grandchildren and your children as well. Key Takeaways: Meeting your partner's children is tough since they can feel jealous, and children don't want to feel like they're being replaced. Children do make a difference. And they can make or break the relationship. They can definitely make or break that relationship when they welcome somebody into the family. Gary only says he loves Faith and Lesley. But in Maria's eyes, Theresa is the one for Gary. Gary is a very emotional man, and he's going to have his challenges when the show is finished. When dating someone, it's critical that they have a comparable background. They don't have to have the same history as us, but having a similar background makes things easier as we mature. Implementing effective strategies is not confined to the professional realm; it's equally crucial on a personal level. Just as strategic planning enhances organizational success, applying thoughtful approaches in personal life can lead to better decision-making, goal achievement, and overall life satisfaction. In this episode of the True Love Knots Podcast, Maria is joined by Ryan Dunlop, and they will be talking about skillsets that you can integrate not just in your professional life, but your personal life as well, and much more! Standout Quotes: “When we're under pressure, we tend to blow things up and we catastrophize.” “What seems strong on the front end is just hardness and hard things break.” “It takes time to relearn ourselves before we can go on and introduce ourselves confidently into the space of another person.” Key Takeaways: It is a common human tendency to amplify challenges and engage in catastrophizing, wherein the perceived magnitude of problems is inflated, potentially leading to heightened stress and a distorted perspective of the actual situation. Apparent strength at first glance often disguises itself as mere hardness, and it's essential to recognize that hard things are prone to break. Relearning ourselves is a necessary precursor to confidently stepping into the space of another person, a process that demands time and introspection. In this episode of True Love Knots, Maria talks about returning to the dating world as a widow or widower. She will also share her thoughts and observations on the difference between men and women in terms of love and relationships. Stay tuned to learn more! Standout Quotes: ● “When you get into a relationship, know what you want. And you need to make sure you have been healing from your past relationship. “ ● “When you get back there in the dating world, and you are a widow, realize that you might not find the same type of relationship you had before. But that doesn't mean you can't have that. It just means it takes a little time to build up that trust, build up that commitment, and feel secure so that the other person feels secure as well.” ● “When you're in a relationship, married, or living with somebody, you live longer because you're healthier and you're happier.” ● “Wherever you're at in life, we're all going to find somebody. We don't have to rush.” ● “The best thing in the world is having somebody who can help you look at situations objectively instead of subjectively.” ● “Still always memorialize that person that was in your life. It doesn't mean that when you find a new partner, you're replacing them.” Key Takeaways: ● Building a relationship takes time, especially in the later stage of life. ● Take time to build trust and commitment. ● The definition of love is different between men and women. ● Because you have lived life, you also know that when you make a commitment to somebody, married or not, you need to be there for them. ● You need to define what you're looking for in a relationship. ● Take the time to assess what worked in your past relationship before going forward. ● For men, you need to do work on yourself first and take the time to heal. Do you utilize your head, heart, and body as centers of intelligence when showing up as a leader? How do you allow people to show up? Do you create safe spaces where people can evolve despite their traumas? In this episode of the Inspirational Leadership podcast, I speak with Carolyn Swora, a certified Dare to Lead™ Facilitator, as well as a Trauma-Informed Leadership Consultant. She works with small, medium and large organizations across Canada and the United States on becoming more compassionate, human and empathetic places for members of staff. Carolyn uses the Enneagram Personality System to help clients deepen self- awareness into their behavioral patterns. She has a Master's degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology and has studied Resilience and Workplace Culture Transformation. She has also developed her own transformational leadership development methodologies, which she breaks down in her second book Evolve: The Path to Trauma-Informed Leadership. Listen in to learn about the three centers of intelligence and the importance of recognizing your dominant one as a leader. You will also learn about three types of traumas and how to be trauma-informed as a leader. Key Takeaways: The head, heart, and body centers of intelligence and how to recognize your dominant one. How to be a trauma-informed leader by recognizing how to create a safe space for people to evolve. How to invest in self-awareness, self-regulation, and co-regulation practices to become an intentional leader. How to embody your imperfections to allow authenticity to show up and be in a space of receiving. Standout Quotes: “When we talk about being trauma-informed, it's about being mindful of your own actions, how you're showing up, and creating a space for others to be able to show up so they feel seen, heard, and valued.”- Carolyn [17:36] “Our intention is always going to be different than our desired impact.”- Carolyn [26:08] “The more power and privilege you have (positional or not), the more accountability you have to close this gap and welcome people into the discussion, an understanding, or sharing so that both experiences can be valued.”- Carolyn [30:55] ⇢ Get full show notes and more information here: https://bit.ly/PodcastCarolynSwora
We shouldn't be focusing on the good and bad things in life, nor should we quit. We must let ourselves be free and let go those who are bothering us. You'll be able to express yourself better when you allow it. In this episode, David Snyder teaches us how to train our minds. Standout Quotes: “When we start looking at ourselves as being broken, as being damaged, we're accepting it as an identity. The truth is, it's not who we are. It's just something we're doing, and you can always change what you're doing. “ “When you're in denial, you give more energy to it. When you accept what happens and you allow yourself to express emotions, you gain more information and a better ability to change your perspective.” “We got to stop thinking about things as being good or bad. The moment we remove that distinction, it sets of filters from our experience. We get more freedom, and our life just gets a lot less stressful.” “You never fail until you quit. Everything else is just a break. It's just a rest.” Key Takeaways: What we say we are is not always who we are. We made ourselves believe that it is who we are. We manipulated ourselves into changing ourselves up to the point that it became our identity. It is better to accept what really happened than deny everything. You'll be able to move forward if you accept what happened Life has always been a mess which is why, you must not let yourself get dictated by the good and bad things in the society. Stopping for the mean time doesn't equate to failure. What you are doing is to rest and ensure that everything's okay. Today, Dr. Snyder will be talking about the Hidden Laws of Attraction. He will be covering the Forgotten Secrets for Success, Wealth, Health, and Happiness. He will alo be sharing useful and effective techniques so stay tuned! Standout Quotes: When we give ourselves a positive affirmation, there's this big happy feeling that we get that we want to focus on. What we do is we try to ignore that little background feeling. But those little background feelings aren't little. They're big, strong, and just very deep. What we need to do is leapfrog around the good feeling, find out where that deep well of negativity is stored, and fix it there. And then this gets brighter automatically. When we talk about time, one of the things that we have to understand is that the idea of linear time is largely an illusion. Your unconscious mind actually gives you this illusion of linear time. Key Takeaways: Understand that because a positive feeling is closer to the surface, it kind of eclipses the deeper negative feeling. We try consciously to focus on that, when in reality, what we need to do is focus on the good feeling. We need to emphasize the positive feeling and find the source of negativity and just fix it there. Your neurology doesn't exist in real time. It's constantly predicting what's going to happen nanosecond to nanosecond. It's actually rewinding your perceptions and plugging in what doesn't fit. So the idea that we exist in linear time is really a fallacy. But the more intuitive somebody is, the more precisely refined their prediction mechanisms tend to be. Episode Timeline: [02:00] Six Dynamics of Unconscious Response [05:54] Level Two Technique from the Identity by Design System [13:07] What it means to be a practitioner of law of attraction [17:00] The Magic Frame Technique [19:03] The Aspect of Time and Creation Itself [21:18] Divine Timing [24:08] How do we know what is and isn't diving timing with our limited state of consciousness? Today, Dr. Snyder is going to talk about Influencing and Understanding Humans. He will be discussing the VAKOG system and the different modalities that affect influence. Stay tuned as he shares his Mind Control and Magick Psychological Tricks! Standout Quotes: • When you assume authority in anyone's world, their nervous system will comply much more readily than when you're an equal. They become hyper-suggestible and hyper-obedient. They may not like you and they may not want to do it, but they will. The corollary to that is, they'll find a way to get payback. • The more modalities you can incorporate when you describe things, the more absorption you create at a neurological level. We tend to have one modality that leads into the other modalities and then we tend to have a particular modality, which may be the same one or a different one that we prefer over the others. • Everything human beings experience is filtered, censored, deleted, distorted, and generalized. You do not know what true reality is, you're divorced from it. The part of you that thinks is divorced from it. Key Takeaways: • Authority is very powerful in society. When you assume authority on a person, they will become compliant to you. But they may resent you for doing that or ordering them something they don't want to do. In time, they will but they will also find a way to get back at you. • When people relate, they may relate primarily in visual words. They may relate to us primarily in kinesthetic words. These are auditory descriptors and they're accessing the auditory parts of their brain. • Nothing we do is in real time. Our brain is separated from our real experience. And yet we function perfectly. Our true reality is filtered by the part of our brain. Episode Timeline: [00:02] Giving People their Autonomy [04:59] The Dynamic of Authority-Based Compliance [16:07] Mind Hitting [18:55] Sensory-based Language [23:17] The Overlap or “Pyramiding” [25:19] Globe Modal Speaking [42:30] Imagining Memorable Moments in Modalities [46:36] Going through Each Modalities with the VAKOG system
In this episode of Speed Attraction, Dr. Snyder is going to talk about the Attraction Archetypes. He will discuss the psychological secrets for dating, mating, and relating. Stay tuned to learn more. You will surely love it! Standout Quotes: When you build and amplify the basic qualities and characteristics of the classical archetypal romantic hero in your life, every part of your life will improve. This is because these are classic success traits. When you embody these traits appropriately, you will engender attraction just by walking in the room because the human neurology is hardwired to sort for that. Everything you're being inundated with has one goal to programming, which is to prime you and predispose you to certain types of behaviors. It will manage you to some degree. As we become more self-aware, as we practice these skill sets, we work in the matrix instead of having it work on us. Key Takeaways: When you embody traits and characteristics of heroes like Jack Sparrow or Luke Skywalker, every part of your life will improve. The archetypal hero has the classical successful traits. You will be able to gain attraction because humans are hardwired to do that. Everything that is inundated to you is designed to expose your to behaviors that will manage you to a degree. As you learn to practice those behaviours, you will be able to use them to your advantage. And it will give you more options to gets more awareness. How do you take action and lead with courage in the middle of fear? When you're scared of treading tough ground with your team, that's when you should prepare and take action to set yourself up for success. In this episode of the Inspirational Leadership podcast, I speak with Kim Campbell, a retired Air Force Colonel who served in the Air Force for over 24 years as a fighter pilot and senior military leader. She has flown 1,800 hours in the A-10 Warthog, including more than 100 combat missions protecting troops on the ground in both Iraq and Afghanistan. In 2003, Kim was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross for Heroism after successfully recovering her battle-damaged airplane after an intense close air support mission in Baghdad. She has experience leading complex organizations and driving cultural change. Kim is passionate about leadership and feels strongly that leaders earn trust by leading with courage and connecting with their team. Listen in to learn the importance of taking a step back in a critical situation and realize that you do have what it takes. You will also learn how to create a high-trust environment where people feel safe to share feedback and connect with you as a leader. Key Takeaways: Get your “step up voice” louder by preparing for failure and practicing some visualization techniques. How to be vulnerable and ask for support when needed to be the best leader you can be. How to show your team the human side of you to connect and create trust between you. The importance of taking a step back in a critical situation and realizing that you do have what it takes. Standout Quotes: “When we're vulnerable, we create an environment of trust, and people are more willing to give feedback and point out a problem.”- Kim [20:35] “In moments when you're feeling stressed or anxious, it's best to take that step back, take a deep breath, and realize that you do have what it takes.”- Kim [30:48] “It is okay to be afraid, it is okay to be scared, but you have to put yourself in a position to now take action.”- Kim [40:37] ⇢ Get full show notes and more information here: https://bit.ly/KImCampbell
Empathy and Sympathy are two different words with two different meanings. Sometimes, people interchanged them with one another. But what is the true meaning of Empathy? According to Maria, it is how empathetic you are with someone's feelings or emotions. In this episode, Maria Romano discussed empathy and discussed sympathy, and courage briefly. Standout Quotes: “When you're vulnerable, it shows that you have courage, it shows you have strength, and it shows that you're willing to step out of your comfort zone. “ “Empathy means being empathetic to the person's feelings or emotions and not making it about you.” “The more in touch you are with emotions, the more in touch you are with your emotions. The more you define them and you're able to articulate them, the better you are at canceling everything that comes across you in life.” Key Takeaways: There is a difference between showing sympathy and empathy to others. Empathy is about understanding how others must be feeling and at the same time not making the situation about yourself. Being vulnerable doesn't mean that you're weak, it means that you are courageous and strong. If you are aware of what others are feeling, you are more aware of your own feelings. The workplace is one of the areas where you can meet somebody. Sometimes, you may even be able to meet your significant other inside this environment. However, there are some rules and restrictions that you have to follow when dealing with an office romance. This depends on the company that you are on, but you must maintain professionalism at all times. In this episode of True Love Knots, Maria Romano shares some advice on how you can handle office romance. Standout Quotes: “When the relationship has blossomed, maybe you're going to get married, moving up, then you can share. But always take caution at the very early stages. Do not share with anyone else and double check what the actual manual says about dating somebody you worked with.” “It's important that you try to control your emotions, especially when you're working in an environment where you have both genders.” “You want to be able to speak as if you were not in a relationship with them. You want to be able to share thoughts share ideas, as if you didn't have any personal contact.” Key Takeaways: There are some rules, regulations, and procedures that you have to follow when it comes to the office environment. This depends on the company. It's important to set aside personal feelings when you're in a professional environment. This could affect your work and career if you let your emotions control you. Do not share your personal relationships with your workmates unless necessary. In this episode, we have C. Regi Rodgers. He is a relationship coach that focuses on helping people be in healthy relationships and helping people manifest their greatest desires. Regi also aims to provide a male perspective to help women understand how men think. For today's episode, Regi talks about relationships, dating, and manifestation. Standout Quotes: “When it comes to relationships, they're not getting it from a conscious male's perspective. So now, I want to be the voice of men talking to women.” “They don't believe that there aren't any good men anymore. I think the older we become, the harder we think it is to find. But I think it's really all about repositioning and repositioning has a lot to do with your mind.” “You have the power to manifest what it is that you desire because I believe that we all have the power to have what we desire and what we deserve.” “Don't rush this because it may take a couple of meets and greets to determine if you even want to date that particular person.” “If you keep saying there is no good man, that's all you see, that's what's going to expand. But if we're able to change that narrative, there are some good men that you start seeing and that's what expands.” “You can't be afraid to step out of your comfort zone, you got to allow life to guide you along your journey.” Key Takeaways: Unlike women, men aren't really expressive. Women have a lot of questions when it comes to men, and C. Regi Rodgers aims to provide a male perspective in order to understand them better. One of the frustrations of women is how they can no longer find good men. However, you just simply need to change your mindset. Stop focusing on the negatives and start focusing on manifesting what you want. You should always be yourself and take your time when you're meeting someone. Get to know each other better before dating them It'll be hard to get what you really want if you don't step out of your comfort zone. Let yourself flow in the journey of life. People become more connected as a result of communication. Communication is a crucial management function that is intertwined with all other management responsibilities. It closes the gap between individuals and groups by facilitating the exchange of information and understanding. Is it, nevertheless, possible to exploit it to one's advantage? Dr. David Snyder will show you in this episode how to utilize language as a tool to effectively communicate your objectives and desires to others with guaranteed success. Standout Quotes: “When you invest in yourself, when you incur when you go through that discomfort you change and you become the person who deserves to have all those good things.” [David] “No matter how far inside you travel, no matter how deep inside you go, you will always be able to hear my words, follow my instructions, obey my commands. Because you realize everything I say and everything I do, is for you to go that you want the way that you want it by your standards and your definitions.” [David] “'I'm not the pleasure police. I don't care what you would do it. Who you were with what substances if any were involved? All I care about is that when you stop, step into that moment and relive it, when you see what you see, you hear what you hear. And you smell any taste what you smelling you taste.” [David] Key Takeaways: Speed attraction will show you how to walk up to anyone, get over your fear of the cold approaching, manage your state, step into that Rockstar meta frame. Figure out who genuinely wants to talk to you, and chat to them in such a way that you become the most intriguing person and around. When they make it, people find a way to fill this void, this space. But only if you are confident that it is what you desire. It has to be a must-have item. It's not a great thing to have. How to approach a person you want to be your mentor in the most efficient way is quite similar to how you'd approach an alpha, so it's a comparable protocol. You'll have to echo them a lot and know the criterion values. In this episode, Dr. David Snyder will show you how to utilize language as a tool to effectively communicate your objectives and desires to others with guaranteed success. Standout Quotes: “When you have sincerity when you have a connection. When people are in rapport with you, when they have affinity with you, they lose, they lose the ability to analyze, and judge what you're saying in proportion to the amount of rapport that they have.” [David] “The more rapport that you have with somebody, the less they want to analyze, criticize, or judge they just want to go along to get along.” [David] “All beliefs are stated in cause and effect terms. Anything spoken in this term as the structure of belief, the brain pays attention to the structure first, and then everything second. And all the brain really cares about is that what you're saying is plausible.” [David] Key Takeaways: When you start employing hypnotic language, especially the patterns, the number seven plus or minus two reduces to around three, indicating that you can track roughly three units of information before being overwhelmed. And they stop trying to figure out what is being said. It creates a pleasurable feeling of cognitive overload or absorption while diminishing a person's ability to dispute or assess what is stated. The cause-and-effect pattern is incredibly captivating. It is likely the second most potent hypnotic language pattern since it establishes causal links between seemingly unrelated topics. As you better understand the power of cause and effect and how it reflects the structure of internal belief, you'll find yourself using it more strategically. To create effective causal relationships that direct your subject's mind to do what you want them to do in a way that appears completely natural and organic yet is hypnotically powerful and nearly impossible to resist. Welcome to Weapons of Social Seduction. Today, Dr. Snyder is going to talk about the Psychological Tricks for Bulletproof Charisma. He will be sharing powerful techniques such as the Echo Technique and Irresistible Hypnotic Influence. Stay Tuned! Standout Quotes: When the mind is in confusion, it will latch on to the first authority figure that it can latch on. It will latch on to whoever looks like they know what's going on. And can give simple, powerful, clear instructions. Anytime you can signal sameness with another human being, they will view you with more credibility, trust, and compliance. They will actually become more susceptible to you. Key Takeaways: When we are in a state of confusion, our minds tend to focus on something that has authority. It will latch to something that knows what to do in the given situation. The ability for someone to challenge your suggestions or directions is inversely proportional to the amount of rapport that you have. That is why in NLP, it's great to start with the Echo Technique because it is the simplest, easiest, and most user-friendly way to start generating sameness and interest in you. In this segment of How to Read Anyone Instantly, Dr. Snyder is going to talk about the lines of the face. He will explain how each line corresponds to a certain event or emotion that we had. Stay tuned to know more! Standout Quotes: When you start to look at people's faces and you unpack their traits, it's always a good idea to compliment some features about them first. Then you can describe the behavior a certain marking indicates. If there's no marking on the face, they're probably deeply dissociated. When you look at the depth and the markings of what a person is exhibiting, and you correlate that to their public or private side, you can start to get an “x-ray” of what they've experienced publicly or privately. People with downturn eyes are people who have a very soft heart for hard luck cases. If you come to them with a sob story, they will do something to help you. When they come across somebody who's in a bad way, they're going to be more likely to lend a helping hand. Key Takeaways: People are marked difference when it comes to trauma. So always remember to never be judgmental when you are talking about a person's face. Just by reading the markings of a person's face, especially at areas that are deeper in the face, you can actually diagnose what that person has experienced. You can read them by looking at the private and public side of the face and looking at which side has depth. People with downturn eye are soft hearted and good natured. But that also makes them ripe for manipulation by people who know how to tell a good sob story. If you have downturned eyes, understand that you have a natural compassionate streak inside of you. And sometimes people can read that and use it against you. Physiognomy, often known as face reading, is the art of determining temperament and character based on external appearance and the facial features considered to reveal mental or personality attributes through their arrangement or expression. In this episode, Dr. David Snyder talks more about psychological tips on how you can understand others using Chinese face reading. Standout Quotes: “When you actually clear a trauma based on the markings on the face, those markings actually change, sometimes they fade away completely, sometimes you'll see a facial feature, literally get larger or broader that colorations will change.” [David] “A lot of modern neuroscientists, as well as social psychologists are discovering the Large amounts of correlation between certain markings and architectures of the face with certain behavioral and emotional predispositions.” [David] “The things we can see when we look at a person's gene, we can see their overall health, we can look at their lifestyle in their constitution, we can assess their trauma history, we can, we can see if they've inherited a lot of traits from their ancestors.” [David] “There are certain more esoteric, little-known schools in China that say yes, it is possible to make more Jing but it's not easy. And you have to live a life lifestyle a certain way.” [David] Key Takeaways: Chinese face reading has a long and illustrious history in Chinese medicine and throughout other regions of Asia, including Malaysia, Japan, and Korea. Pattern recognition is the ability to see underlying patterns of thought, emotion, behavior, and movement in a process or person. It is based on cycles, rhythms, and practices within the human being and the microcosmos and macro cosmos. Jing is a form of natural life force. It's like your body's material, energetic foundation; it builds your bones, soft tissues, and everything else. This material substance also contains the energy components, directions, and instructions for the material side of you, which we inherit from our parents. In this segment, we are going to talk about Mind Control Skills. Dr. Snyder is going to share the Echo Technique and how you can use it with Criterion Values, Spinning, and many more. Want to become more attracted and have an irresistible influence? Then stay tuned! Standout Quotes: When you lead with the thing that is a bad thing, that could be used against you, then it can no longer be used against you. If there's something that is potentially damaging that could be used against you, build it into the very first part of your introduction to your presentation. The echo technique forces a person to pay attention to you. This is because every word that has come out of your mouth is directly connected to their emotions. There is no possibility of mistranslation. The longer they talk, the more connected to you they become. Key Takeaways: In presenting in the sales and marketing space, you can use the one thing that could be used against you. Leading with something that could be used against you will then give you power over it. So if you have something that could potentially be used against you, you'll never go wrong leading with it. The echo technique can force a person to pay attention without them knowing it. If you “echo” their words, they will become more connected to you. This will then make them talk longer and be more attentive to you. As a wedding officiant, you probably meet couples all the time. And when you meet couples, you're meeting couples from all different cultures all over the world, and you might not be able to pronounce their name properly. That's important because somebody wants to have their name pronounced correctly. Our name means a lot, so it's important to learn how to pronounce names properly. In this episode of True Love Knots, Maria Romano will share tips for pronouncing a couple's name. Standout Quotes: “When you meet the couple, ask them to pronounce their name and write it out phonetically.” “I like to use a couple's names during the wedding ceremony. I don't use bride and groom. I don't use husband and wife. I like to use their names. That's who they are. That's they represent themselves. And I think that's very important to do.” “It's important that you pronounce their first names properly. It is not always so important that you get their last name, but it's very important that you get their first name.” Key Takeaways: Write it out phonetically and put it on a little post-it or in the palm of your hand so you can look down at it to ensure you're properly pronouncing their name. Make the couple send you a voice memo and slowly pronounce their names. Practice makes perfect. That's what makes everything go smoothly. That's what brings customers back, which brings great customer reviews and sends you more business. Episode Timeline: [1:23] Write it out phonetically [2:58] Voice memo with the couple's names [3:35] If you're a DJ, you want to have their last names properly pronounced
In this episode of the True Love Knots Podcast, Maria Romano will discuss how to write your own wedding vows. Standout Quotes: "When a couple writes their vows, I think it's beautiful." [Maria] "Make sure you're talking about how you love yourself and your partner as a couple." [Maria] "Love needs to be felt as you're reading your vows." [Maria] "The words from your wedding vows will be embedded in your partner's heart." [Maria] Key Takeaways: Writing vows takes much preparation. A relationship is not about two distinct persons; it is about two people who love each other. Keep your wedding vows short and sweet but mindful and clean. Practice your wedding vows ahead of time. Welcome to the second segment of the Super Surprise Saturday with Dr. Snyder! We are going to continue our discussion about the most frequent questions asked about NLP. Tune in because Dr. Snyder has a lot with you that you don't want to miss out on! Standout Quotes: When people are using purely cognitive processes as opposed to integrative processes, the results are usually a lot lower. About 30% of the population can get very significant very powerful change from a purely cognitive process. When we create our own reality, what we're really saying is that universe that we experience is a construct. It's an expression, interpretation, projection, and reintegration of vibrational data. It's like cloud server that takes information that's loaded and spreads it out. Your nervous system is hardwired to make bad things worse than good things. If points of pain and pleasure are equal, your nervous system will generate points of pain for every bad thing that happens. But it will only generate one point of pleasure for every good thing that happens. Key Takeaways: In clearing negative emotional blockages, only about 30% of the population can get a significant result, especially when they are using purely cognitive processes. They will get a much higher result if you are using integrative processes. Creating our reality is just an expression. It's our projection of the universe we experience. It's a reintegration of vibrational data that if we ask for information, that information is pulled back. Our nervous system has a neurological proclivity that if you understand, you will be able to handle the bad things that happen in your life. So many of the problems that we believe is because of the negative events in our life that expanded and exaggerated beyond what they actually are. We can make adjustments for that and become more, fearless and resourceful and we can begin to develop alternate systems for dealing with life. Episode Timeline: [02:19] Can clearing negative emotional blockages to be done through mental procedures? [03:50] Creating our Own Reality [10:16] Mindfulness, Being Present, Power of Bad, and Negativity Bias [16:41] The Snake Oil vs. The Real Deal [20:30] The Best way to Start Identity by Design [23:14] The best way to influence someone energetically and remotely [25:33] Recommendations for getting rid of words that have not responded to Western medicine [27:35] Multi-Orgasms [28:38] Finding your Purpose [30:18] Using Crystals to Enhance Vibrations [31:42] The Best Way to get into the state for astral projection [35:52] Final Remarks
The ongoing interaction of temperament, character, and environment shapes one's personality. However, is it true that possessing certain facial features has a significant impact in determining which qualities are prominent? Join Dr. David Snyder as he reveals everything you need to know about reading people's personalities by looking at their faces. Standout Quotes: “When people are happy and the body is healthy, they're doing the things that are on their building path, there's a glow that emanates from under their skin, there's a vitality and a radiance that streams from the eyes.” [David] “There is a reason why human beings are biased towards physical appearance, it's just that we don't consciously know all the things that go into it.” [David] “Anytime you see eyes that should be big but are held super close like that. You have got somebody who's got a big ball of secretiveness in there he is evaluating everything you say he is paying he is rehearsing his words and running them backward and forwards to make sure that you get exactly what he wants to send.” [David] “Just because somebody has a bulgy eye doesn't make them possessed by an evil spirit or a ghost. You have to evaluate based on the kinds of behaviors they engage in.” [David] Key Takeaways: When people are in pain, their Shin does not want to enter the body as much as it should. So, the eyes get flatter, and they get a flatter and flatter endeavor, with less and less light emanating from the eyes until they become entirely disconnected from their body, which we call Shin doubt. It can be seen in those who have been through a lot of trauma. The lights are turned on, but no one is at home. They've avoided each other and separated themselves. When you establish a baseline with someone, you will notice that the Shen dims, and the light behind their eyes darkens slightly. That's one of the things we watch for when we're talking to someone, and they start to feel uncomfortable or start lying to you, and the Shin leaves the body. Deep-set eyes have a more incredible elemental energy to them. Eyes protrude out in a beedi sort of way simultaneously, but the effect is relatively flat—someone who is dealing with some mental issues. A double shin is a sign that someone is dealing with some internal issues. Whether you call it multiple personalities, dissociative identity, or schizophrenia, the fundamental truth is that they act as if they had an additional person in their head.

In this segment, Dr. Snyder is going to teach us about Face Reading. He is going to discuss reading Purposes lines and protecting ourselves from dark triads. Dr. Snyder will also teach us how we can know what a person has experienced using face reading. Standout Quotes: When people have Auditory Intuition lines, they have good lie detectors. People with those markings tend to develop the ability to read between the lines to hear what's not being. But it is actually a great skill, and it's a great characteristic later on in life. But it doesn't start out that way. It starts as a self-protection mechanism for people growing up in very threatening and dangerous environments. Belief is not necessary. But following the instructions is. We distill everything we do down to a mechanical process that anybody can do. If they do it with the right mindset, they will get a result. We have to test the things that we're taught to prove whether they have merit or not. You have no clue who's reading you and who's targeting you. But with face reading in terms of profiling ourselves, we get the ability to pinpoint things we didn't even know was a problem. Key Takeaways: People with Auditory Intuition lines are very good at reading between the lines. They are very good at detecting whether or not someone is lying to them. These skills are formed early on as a self-protection mechanism. Dr. Snyder says that instructions are more necessary than belief. With Skepticism, we need to trust things that we had a direct experience with. We just have to test things to prove whether or not something is legit or not. We have no idea if someone is targeting us or reading our behaviors. That's why with face reading, we can detect and resolve that problem. We can protect ourselves from anyone, especially predators. Face reading, also known as physiognomy and personology, is an old Chinese technique that has become one of the most trusted ways to learn about oneself and fortune-telling. But how might that be used to one's advantage? Join Dr. David Snyder to demonstrate how face reading can be both entertaining and profitable for those who use it. Standout Quotes: “When we start to unpack human beings, what we see is an interlocking connection, AI loops of patterns and structure. Everything human beings do follows a pattern everything human beings think and say and behave has a structure to it. And those structures leave clues.” [David] “When you can look at somebody's space, and know the secret emotions under the surface, it gives you a lot more security when dealing with them. Because you realize that most people are more nervous about stuff than you are. They're very self-absorbed.” [David] “Try to put a compassionate spin on whatever traits you unpack, because when you start unpacking the facial features of a person's face, they become very sensitive, very vulnerable. Some may just deny stuff right off the bat, but you'll know right away by the look in their eyes, by their pupil dilation, things of that nature.” [David] Key Takeaways: The mystery surrounding most people begins to unravel once you understand how to look at the structures and processes that are inherent in humans. And you start to be able to look at individuals and recognize who they are, where they're coming from, even if you don't know the specifics because the broad patterns of their lives are written practically on their faces. And because you can do that, you can build a mental profile of them and extrapolate and forecast how they think or act in specific stimuli or situations. Humans are holographic information processing systems, or what is known as an open-ended information energy transmission system. Put another way, we continually absorb information and energy from our surroundings, process it, and then release it back into the world. The Chinese were masters at planning. 1000s of years ago, some emotional frequencies inhibited in the body manifested holographically on the face. And this is a comprehensive healing model. If you know how to do face reading the traditional method, you can begin to unpack the dynamic markings on people's faces, and as they move, you can start to capitalize on them, and they will begin to process out those emotions. You'll notice the face begin to shift as they digest those emotions until they're entirely gone. When you find yourself being rigid, locked in your own perspective or angry that something is not turning out the way you want it to, look at the rubber band. If you have to, snap yourself to remind yourself that there's always a different perspective. STANDOUT QUOTES “When it's hard, we can't tap out. We just can't say ‘Let's remove the difficult stimulus in our lives.' We have to learn to deal with it.” -Dr. Amber Selking [01:27] “That's really the power of diversity, that it brings different perspectives to the table. It allows us to see things more fully, more completely.” -Dr. Amber Selking [06:43] “Psychological flexibility allows us to not only know that there are different perspectives in any situation, but also see through the lens of others that there is more to the situation or moment or person than might be available to us from our own perspective.” -Dr. Amber Selking [07:59] “If we are psychologically rigid, we are unable to navigate and manage and go through and about those different life demands that we have, the desires that we have, the needs that we have.” -Dr. Amber Selking [08:35] Please get on iTunes to rate us and write a review for us! Do you still have doubts about obtaining a pre-approval for a mortgage? Would you like to get one but has no clue where and how to start? Tune in to this episode of The Real Estate and Mortgage Show as Walter Monteiro tackles how you can get a mortgage application pre-approved and things you should know to increase the chances of approval. Standout Quotes: “When we start a conversation with buyers, many of them have not spoken to a lending institution or a mortgage broker. They just make the assumption that they're going to have no problem getting a mortgage thinking their credit is good, or they have a good job, and they can get it pre-approved.” [Walter] “Lenders look at a few things, they look at your credit rating, they look at your ability to sustain payments, which they call the GDS, and TDS ratio. Those are the percentages of your income, your job stability, all of that kind of stuff. And you need to be aware of what your options are because when you go into the arena of trying to buy a home in today's environment, it is very, very tough.” [Walter] “Do you think that there's going to be any chance whatsoever of the seller entertaining an unconditional offer? Highly unlikely. The only likelihood that could be is that you make an offer that's more attractive than the others, and it has a condition.” [Walter] Key Takeaways: It's nearly impossible to obtain approval for an unconditional or conditional offer because we are in a competitive industry. If you're not going to receive a pre-approval, you're extremely risky by making no unconditional offers until you know what you can live with. Walter showed a property priced for approximately $799 and was a great home. However, the listing agent informed them within hours that there were 29 offers on the house. The proper way to do a pre-approval is to go through the process of providing job letters and all of the information that a lender wants to see if it's an actual mortgage. Some lenders only offer pre-approvals. They're deluged with a business that they don't have time to underwrite pre-approvals, only live deals. As a result, you'll have to rely on your mortgage professional to evaluate this information. Hence, it's critical to work with a mortgage professional. Banks are primarily concerned with two aspects of funding. The first question is, can the client afford this mortgage, correct? Are they financially stable, do they have a down payment, and all that sort of thing? The bank is, in fact, the one who bears the risk. As a result, they have a component called the “loan to value” In other words, they will only pay a specific proportion of the property's worth or the purchase price, whichever is smaller. Therefore, unless you have those means available to you, you run the risk of putting yourself in a legal predicament in which you risk being sued, losing your deposit, and much more. So, you must obtain pre-approval before you begin browsing for a home. Episode Timeline: [00:03] Should you get a mortgage approval? [00:12] Is it essential to talk to lending institutions or mortgage brokers? [00:29] Why is it impossible to get an unconditional offer? [00:51] Is budgeting Important?
