Dale Earnhardt Jr. welcomes in the NASCAR Xfinity Series championship competitors for a driver tell-all before the big race this weekend. He is joined by Connor Zilisch, Justin Allgaier, Carson Kvapil and Jesse Love to discuss their seasons and path for surviving elimination at Martinsville. Plus, Dale breaks some news on the show.Dale starts by getting to know Love, who is the lone driver competing from outside the JR Motorsports garage. Coming from the prosperous open wheel scene in California, Jesse made motorsports headlines when he became the youngest ARCA Champion in history in 2023. Kvapil comes to the table as a rookie in the series, making the final four in his first full-time attempt. He and Dale have an extensive track history together, as Carson competed in the JRM late model stock program and captured the 2022 and 2023 CARS Tour crowns. It's been a banner year for Zilisch, as he's captured ten victories and has shown dominance on virtually every type of track on the schedule. As he plans to depart for a full-time Cup slate with Trackhouse in 2026, he explains that no matter what happens in Phoenix, this year has been a smashing success. The group of four is anchored by the elder statesman, longtime veteran, and reigning Xfinity Series champion Allgaier. After having gone through this exact process just a year ago, he explains that this year he is much calmer and advises his younger competitors to enjoy every moment and not take anything for granted. What if one night, someone saw you walking away… while you were still inside? And what if years later, your own child started talking to someone who shouldn't exist anymore? First, a young girl named Madeline steps out of a small-town Kansas movie theater, or so her father and sister think. They watch her cross toward the train tracks — same clothes, same hair, same movements. But the real Madeline was still in the restroom. When she emerged minutes later, they realized they had seen something that looked exactly like her vanish into thin air. A doppelganger, a glitch, or something darker? Then comes a second story of love and loss that refuses to fade. A father's three-year-old son begins to speak of his late grandmother — the woman he never knew — warning, “Grandma's not happy.” When the boy later points to her photo and repeats the same phrase, the family begins to believe she's trying to send a message from beyond, desperate to heal what was broken after her death. #trueghoststory #doppelganger #hauntedfamily #realhaunting #ghostencounter #paranormalactivity #realparanormal #creepystory #afterlife #ghoststories Love real ghost stories? What if the most potent weapon that America has against the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) isn't nukes or tariffs?“This isn't a competition between the largest economy and the second largest economy. This is a competition of ideals—and we've got the better ones,” says former Ambassador-at-Large for International Religious Freedom Sam Brownback.“If you want to hit them where it hurts, hit them on human rights issues, genocides in their own country, religious freedom that they don't grant any of their people—whether they be Buddhist, Muslim, Falun Gong, Christians. That's where they're the weakest. It's where they're the most vulnerable.”Ahead of President Donald Trump's expected meeting with Chinese leader Xi Jinping, I sat down with Brownback to understand what he sees as the Chinese regime's greatest vulnerabilities, its deepest fears, and how those can be strategically leveraged by the United States.Brownback is co-chair of the International Religious Freedom Summit. He previously served as governor of Kansas from 2011 to 2018 and as a U.S. senator from Kansas, 1996 to 2011. For over thirty years, Wichita, Kansas lived in fear of a man who called himself BTK — Bind, Torture, Kill. He murdered ten people, including children, and then vanished for years at a time, taunting police and the press with letters that were as cruel as the crimes themselves. But the most disturbing part of this story isn't just the brutality of his murders — it's how Dennis Rader, the man behind BTK, managed to live a perfectly ordinary life right in plain sight. He was a husband. A father. A church council president.A city compliance officer. And behind all of it — a sadistic killer who hid in the open for more than three decades. In this episode of The Redacted Report, we dig into the full story of Dennis Rader — not just the crimes, but the psychology and deception that let him walk unnoticed among his victims' families and his community. We trace his path from a disturbed Kansas kid fascinated by control and bondage to the day he finally slipped — undone by his own arrogance and a floppy disk that revealed his name. You'll hear how Rader meticulously planned each murder, how he craved attention more than anything else, and how his need to be recognized ultimately destroyed him. We revisit the detectives who refused to give up on the cold case, the technological breakthroughs that caught him decades later, and the haunting question that lingers: how does someone capable of such horror look so normal? From his chilling phone calls to the police to his bizarre confessions in court, this is the story of a man who wanted to be remembered — and of the investigators who made sure he would be, but not in the way he imagined. The Redacted Report: BTK – The Killer Next Door pulls back the curtain on one of America's most terrifying killers — and exposes how easily evil can hide behind a familiar smile.

Send us a textReady for an honest look at the smartest path from high school baseball to D1 and beyond? We sit down with Coach Austin Nelson of Cochise College to unpack why junior college baseball often beats jumping straight into a crowded Division I roster. With the transfer portal stacking lineups with 22 to 24-year-olds, an 18-year-old freshman can get buried. JUCO flips that script: you face peers your age, see the field early, and stack real-game reps that drive development and recruiting momentum. We dive into the biggest myths about JUCO and break down why Arizona's conference is among the most competitive in the country. Coach Nelson shares concrete success stories, from players moving to Kansas, Mizzou, New Mexico State, Dallas Baptist, and Arizona to arms getting drafted or signing pro deals. The conversation drills into what actually moves a player up: mental makeup, short memory after failure, and a structured environment that rewards consistent work. You'll also get a clear look at costs, housing, meal plans, and why JUCO can deliver a full year for a fraction of many four-year programs. For pitchers, the details matter: daily throwing, targeted arm care, prehab and rehab, and conditioning that builds durable velocity gains without overuse. Parents will appreciate the practical guidance on what to ask before committing—playing time reality, communication with coaches, development plans, and financial fit. We even get into hot-seat takes on the transfer portal, a candid play-bench-trade segment, postseason picks, and a memorable story from the JUCO World Series. If you want playing time now, measurable development, and a proven route to the next level, this conversation shows how JUCO can be the most direct path forward. The Chiefs kicked aside some early sloppiness to blast the Washington Commanders with a dazzling second half performance that was near perfection. The Chiefs ran it, Mahomes threw it and everybody got in on the action. A pair of defenders go their first career interceptions putting away a struggling team that brought all they had. KC is still in 3rd place in the AFC West but it's not a stretch to say the next three game (@Bills, @Denver, Colts) will determine the one seed in conference. The governor of Kansas and the owner of the Chiefs both talked about stadium issues on Monday and it feels like nothing has gone anywhere. Could somebody please do a deal and make a decision? We'll revisit K-State's big win over KU Saturday and Mizzou resetting its season as a lot has changed in a short period of time. Monday night's game 3 of the World Series was a 6 hour and 39 minute marathon that saw the Dodgers win in historic fashion in the 18th inning. And wait until you hear what Shohei Ohtani did, the most incredible stat ever. In this episode of Gangland Wire, retired Kansas City Intelligence Unit detective Gary Jenkins welcomes author Gregory Macalino, whose book “Little Pussy and Long Branch: Perfect Together” offers a deep dive into New Jersey's underworld and the life of one of its most notorious figures—Anthony “Little Pussy” Russo. Gregory begins by sharing his own story, growing up in Monmouth County amid the Italian-American enclaves where whispers of mob activity were part of daily life. His firsthand familiarity with the gambling, politics, and personalities that shaped the Jersey Shore inspired him to explore Russo's remarkable and brutal reign. Gary and Gregory trace Little Pussy Russo's rise from a small-time Newark street thief to a powerful player in the Genovese crime family, detailing how he infiltrated Long Branch's political and law enforcement circles to control the town for over twenty years. Gregory explains Russo's business acumen, his use of gambling and real estate ventures to mask criminal operations, and the dangerous rivalries that emerged with independent drug dealers who threatened his dominance. Listeners will hear how Little Pussy Russo's empire ultimately unraveled amid violence, betrayal, and federal pressure. Gregory recounts dramatic gangland episodes, family connections, and the eventual collapse of a criminal fiefdom that had once seemed untouchable. The conversation also touches on how Russo's world parallels modern portrayals of mob life—especially The Sopranos—revealing just how much real New Jersey mobsters influenced America's favorite mafia fiction. As the discussion closes, Gregory reflects on the lasting cultural footprint of men like Russo and what their stories teach us about power, corruption, and community identity. This is a must-listen for true crime fans, Mafia historians, and anyone fascinated by how organized crime once ruled the Jersey Shore. In this gripping episode of The Guilty Files Podcast, we go beyond the headlines and dive deep into one of America's most haunting true crime stories — the life and legacy of Dennis Rader, the BTK Killer. “Bind. Torture. Kill.” Three words that held an entire city hostage for more than three decades while a monster disguised himself as an ordinary man.Dennis Rader wasn't the drifter or loner that popular culture paints as a serial killer. He was a husband, a father, a Boy Scout leader, and the council president of his church. By day, he enforced city ordinances in Park City, Kansas, measuring grass heights and citing residents for leaving trash cans out too early. By night, he fed a sadistic fantasy life that would claim ten lives and terrorize an entire community. His obsession with control and his ability to mask it behind a façade of normalcy made him one of the most chilling killers in modern history. This episode traces Rader's story from his early years in Pittsburg, Kansas — where his fascination with bondage and cruelty took root — to his years of military service, marriage, and eventual descent into a life of hidden predation. We explore how his childhood acts of animal torture and fetishism went unrecognized as red flags, how he weaponized his day jobs at ADT Security and as a municipal compliance officer to study his victims, and how his twisted need for power became ritualized in his killings. We follow the trajectory of BTK's crimes, beginning with the horrifying Otero family murders in 1974 and continuing through his series of killings that left Wichita living in fear. We unpack the infamous letters, poems, and packages that he sent to police and the media — the communications that transformed the murders into a decades-long psychological game. We also examine the eerie fourteen-year period of silence where Rader appeared to vanish, though he was in fact living quietly among the very people who feared him most. From his eventual return to taunting law enforcement in 2004, to the digital blunder that led to his downfall — a single floppy disk containing traceable metadata — this episode brings listeners inside the meticulous investigation that finally unmasked BTK.You'll hear how decades-old DNA from the Otero crime scene and a sample taken from Rader's daughter's medical record closed one of America's most elusive cold cases. We break down the courtroom confession that stunned the nation, where Rader clinically detailed each murder with chilling composure. We highlight the courage of survivors and the families of victims like Charlie Otero, who has carried the weight of trauma since discovering his family's murder at age fifteen. We also look at the profound role of forensic innovation and patience — how careful evidence preservation and evolving DNA technology turned a forgotten case file into the key that finally locked BTK away for good.Beyond the crimes, this episode delves into the mind of Dennis Rader — a study in compartmentalization, ego, and deviance. We examine how he managed to separate “Dennis the family man” from “BTK the killer,” why he craved recognition more than escape, and what his case reveals about the psychology of control. We also confront the unanswered questions: Were there more victims? How did he suppress his urges for years at a time? And how does someone who claims to love his family justify the systematic destruction of others? Finally, we explore the aftermath: Rader's life inside the El Dorado Correctional Facility, where he remains in protective custody and continues to seek attention through letters and interviews. We discuss his daughter Kerri Rawson's memoir, A Serial Killer's Daughter, her path toward healing, and the broader impact of the BTK case on law enforcement and society's understanding of how ordinary evil hides in plain sight. The Guilty Files delivers not just the crimes, but the psychology, the investigation, and the enduring questions that still surround Dennis Rader. This is more than a true crime story — it's a chilling reminder that the most dangerous predators can look just like us, and that justice sometimes depends on the details we refuse to ignore.

After the tragic loss of her daughter Erin to gun violence, Marcy Langhofer transformed heartbreak into hope by founding Do Good for Erin, a nonprofit devoted to ending violence and supporting those it affects. What began as a simple clothing drive in Erin's memory has grown into a powerful movement that's donated over $650,000 to local agencies and awarded scholarships to future social workers. Through courage, compassion, and community, Marcy shows that even in our darkest moments, love can rise, kindness can heal, and purpose can be reborn. Key Takeaways: Kindness has the power to turn pain into purpose and loss into legacy. Healing begins when we choose to reach outward with compassion, even in grief. Community connection strengthens resilience and reminds us we are never alone. Every small act of giving can restore hope and dignity to someone's life. True impact happens when we live with empathy, intention, and heart. Join us for the Kindness Campaign and help create a ripple of compassion in your community! Sign up today at SmallChangesBigShifts.com/Kindness to receive daily acts of kindness and inspiration.
