In good times, life moves swiftly, with little time for reflection. Warnings of impending disaster may go unheeded — until it's too late: confusion and chaos rule the day. In stormy times, the wise remain calm, even when the world around them is in turmoil. Turbulence may destroy structures that lack a firm foundation, but this is necessary to build stronger ones. In nature and in society, excess must be corrected. Destruction...is also a path to renewal. On this transmission of Hearts of Space, an electro-ambient journey for turbulent times called INTO THE STORM. Music is by MARCONI UNION, ADHAM SHAIKH & TIM FLOYD, MICHAEL STEARNS, DAN BARRIO, RUBEN GARCIA, IAN BODDY, PHILIPPE EMANUEL GEUBLE, and KIT WATKINS. Our minds are constantly racing, and our bodies are constantly on alert. This can lead to a variety of health problems, including anxiety, insomnia, and chronic pain. Meditation and binaural beats can be powerful tools for helping us to relax and de-stress. Meditation is a practice of focusing your attention on the present moment, which can help to quiet your mind and reduce stress. Binaural beats are a type of auditory illusion that is created by playing two slightly different frequencies in each ear. This can create a calming effect that can help to promote relaxation and sleep. When you combine meditation and binaural beats, you create a powerful combination that can help you to achieve deep relaxation and restful sleep. This can help to improve your overall health and well-being. Here is a simple meditation and binaural beat sleep prayer that you can use: "I am one. I am at peace with all that has happened today. As I now drift into a healthy deep and restful sleep, I allow my body to detox and cleanse itself. I wake refreshed and renewed, ready to embrace the new day with clarity and peace." Here are some of the benefits of meditation and binaural beats for sleep: Reduced stress and anxiety Improved sleep quality Increased relaxation Reduced pain Improved mood Increased energy levels Enhanced focus and concentration Improved cognitive function Here are some of the best binaural beat sleep tracks: "Weightless" by Marconi Union "Sleep Soundly" by Binaural Beats Meditation "Deep Sleep" by Brainwave Entrainment "Delta Sleep" by Hemi-Sync "Theta Sleep" by Mindfield Interact at The BH Sales Kennel Kelp Holistic Healing Hour --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/bhsales/message

Summer often departs unwillingly, with warm days that linger into autumn. In years to come, the transition will probably take even longer, but eventually the sun sinks ever lower, the days grow shorter, the light dims, and the natural world prepares for the long winter to come: drying, darkening, withering, dropping, and dying — to be reborn. The music of the season slows, darkens, and takes on a more somber affect, echoing the complex colors and diminishing energy of autumn, as the sun withdraws to its winter retreat. On this transmission of HEARTS of SPACE, an electro-acoustic journey in the autumn soundscape, on a program called FALLING LEAVES. Music is by LUDOVICO EINAUDI, JOHANN JOHANNSON, KEVIN KELLER, MARCONI UNION, DIATONIS, TIM STORY & HANS-JOACHIM ROEDELIUS, ROBIN GUTHRIE & HAROLD BUDD, and BRIAN ENO. But what if you couldn't? What if the call of the void was so intense that you almost acted? Is there a cure? This episode contains a contextual reference to suicidal ideation. In the waning days of late autumn, the sun falls ever lower in the sky, the air becomes crisp as the restless wind strips the leaves from the trees, and the nights grow quiet, as the last lovelorn crickets of the season succumb to the cold. The autumn harvest brings a bounty of fruits and flowers, grains and nuts, in a rainbow of complex colors from bright orange pumpkins to deep purple cranberries. The sounds of the season are darker, slower, deeper — a somber interlude before the bright celebrations of the holiday season. On this transmission of Hearts of Space, an ambient-electronic journey for late autumn, on a program called SHADES AND SHADOWS. Does a season have a sound? ANTONIO VIVALDI obviously thought so, and THE FOUR SEASONS remains one of the most popular classical pieces of all times. So did electronic music pioneer WENDY CARLOS, who created SONIC SEASONINGS, the first album of synthesized environmental sounds, all the way back in 1972. What's the sound of summer for the ambient musicians of today? Well first, it's warmer: languid, even sultry; it's lighter, more airy. From heat waves to gossamer breezes, cooling ocean sprays to the nighttime cricket chorus, in summer — save the occasional thunderstorm, tornado or hurricane — we inhabit a kinder, gentler soundscape. On this transmission of Hearts of Space, we round up a flock of warm weather electrons and fly the blue skies of summer...on a program called SUMMERTRONICA 5. Astrofever Radio is a monthly Radio Show annexed to Astrofever Records, an independent record label from Casablanca, Morocco. The sound of Astrofever Radio stems from a broad musical palette, maintaining a wide spectrum and focusing on good music regardless of genres. Curated by Casablanca-born and based Producer, DJ, and label head Mouhcine Zouitina better known as @Polyswitch. Presenting emerging and established artists from Morocco and beyond via @Worldwide-fm. ___ *Guest Introduction: Glenn Astro is just one of multiple alter egos the Berlin-based producer and DJ carry for himself. Releases on labels such as @nowtermina @tartelet-records, @ninja-tune, and @wotnotmusic, several high-profile remixes, as well as contributions to the @resident-advisor, Solid Steel, and @dkmntl mix series, helped to heave his name to the public eye. Known for his chunky beats and fuzzy textures, Glenn Astro was a crucial figure in a new wave of electronic music producers setting trends between 2013 and 2015, leaving a distinctive signature on everything he touched. But Astro has quietly been crafting a new sound for himself. Sometimes taking detours, morphing into various band constellations, more alter egos, and experimenting with artist collaborations. Those years of reflection and artistic development have culminated in another facet of his already versatile sound palette that manifests in his productions and DJ sets. ___ *00:00:00 – 00:59:59 / Polyswitch 1– Jeremy - So Peaceful (Re-Ending) (Driftwood) 2– Alex Ho - TYFC (Music From Memory) 3– Marconi Union & Giorgio Li Calzi | Blue Lights (Music For Dreams) 4– Samuel Organ - Guidance (DMY) 5– Aardvarck - Buuv (Rush Hour) 6– Pharaohs - Beyond Within (100% Silk) 7– Ron Trent feat.

Kathleen opens the show toasting listeners with a Jameson shot in honor of St. Patrick’s Day, with a Bud Light chaser. She showcases her Moonman Irish hoodie from Barstool Sports and reads a letter from a fan who sent Frank’s RedHot Ranch Seasoning mix, which she looks forward to preparing for next week’s Pubcast. “BAD GOOD FOOD”: In her quest for new and delicious not-so-nutritious junk food AND in continuing her search for the best Ranch, Kathleen samples Hidden Valley Plant-Powered plant-based Ranch dressing. She then dips a Frito into Hidden Valley Ranch Aged Cheddar Ranch Dip and is excited to find Lucky Charms cereal with a leprechaun trap on the back of the box in honor of St. Patrick’s Day. Kathleen finishes the segment by telling listeners to watch the viral TikTok video of a British girl who tries Ranch dressing for the first time EVER.UPDATE ON KATHLEEN’S QUEEN’S COURT: In an update on her Queens, Kathleen advises that Tanya Tucker has posted a quick video confirming that she’s been vaccinated with the COVID-19 shot, and Dolly simply continues to be fabulous.FAKE HEIRESS ANNA DELVEY: As a follow up to Episode 29, Kathleen updates the Termites on the activities of Anna Sorokin (aka “Delvey”) after her release from NY State prison. Sorokin confirms that she was paid $320,000 by Netflix for her story and says she has been offered other deals, so her jail time wasn’t without financial gain. Kathleen reads of the indulgence that Sorokin partook in prior to her sentencing, including champagne brunches lasting hours. Kathleen then tells a story about a champagne lunch that she had in New York with her friend Christa that ended in an enormous nap.ELIZABETH HOLMES BABY DRAMA: As a follow up to Episode 13, Kathleen updates listeners that Theranos founder Elizabeth Holmes has requested that her trial be postponed because she is pregnant. Queue the suspenseful music….BANKSY GAME CHANGER: In keeping with Kathleen’s interest in elusive street mural artist Banksy, she reads an article announcing that his mural ‘Game Changer’ will go under the auction hammer at Christie’s 20th Century Art Evening Sale on March 23rd, 2021. The artwork carries a pre-sale estimate of approximately £3,000,000 and all proceeds will go to England’s National Health Service. ANIMALS MOST LIKELY TO KILL YOU BY STATE: Kathleen continues with the segment Animals Most Likely to Kill You (By State), as reported by the Center for Disease Control. If you live in Oregon beware of bees/wasps/yellow jackets, Pennsylvania has a massive dog problem, and Rhode Island lists black widow spiders as their leading animal killer. DRINKS ON A VOLCANO: Kathleen is fascinated by all-natural wonders, and advises listeners that the Hawaii Volcano Observatory recorded over 200 small magnitude earthquakes below volcano Mauna Loa last week. These and other observations of increased activity all point to an increased flow of magma into the volcano’s shallow storage system, and denote that Mauna Loa is slowly waking up for a massive eruption. Kathleen then describes a dinner that she had at the top of Mauna Loa while visiting the Big Island a few years ago, dining at The Rim restaurant. DISCOUNT MURDER-FOR-HIRE: Kathleen’s home at Lake of the Ozarks does her proud when she reads an article about realtor Leigh Ann Bauman, who paid an undisclosed hitwoman $1,500 to try and eliminate her former mother-in-law, according to the probable cause document for Bauman’s arrest and charging.Bauman, a well-known real estate agent at Lake of the Ozarks, is facing a Class C Felony charge of Conspiracy To Commit Murder. If convicted, she would spend 3–10 years in prison. Kathleen provides her own commentary about the agreed-upon price for the hit, as well as the fact that police released Bauman for a window of time to attend a botox appointment prior to her finishing her criminal interview.MISSOURI PREACHER’S PERFECT WOMAN: Kathleen laughs in dismay as she reads an article from Southern Missouri about a recent sermon given by a Baptist preacher that contained sexist and misogynistic content. Pastor Stewart-Allen Clark of Missouri's Malden First General Baptist Church said in his Sunday sermon that women should look to maintain their figures and lose weight in order to keep their husband's attention. He also used a photo of former First Lady Melania Trump as an example of what women should aspire to. 118-YEAR-OLD TORCH BEARER: Kathleen is thrilled to read an announcement that a 118-year-old Japanese woman, Kane Tanaka, will carry the Olympic torch this summer at the Tokyo Olympics. THE MOST RELAXING SONG EVER: Kathleen is a big fan of naps, and can’t wait to share with listeners that the most relaxing Weightless, by Marconi Union. The melody was specifically designed to slow human heart rate, reduce blood pressure, and lower cortisol. Kathleen recommends pouring a large glass of wine, turning up the song, and not driving.MURDEROUS ROYAL CLOWNS: Kathleen laughs out loud at a recent (and brilliant) article from the Irish Times sifting through the wake of the Oprah interview with Meghan and Harry. She feels strongly that the only way that a listener can truly appreciate the intent of the article is to read it in its entirety ;-) WHAT TO WATCH THIS WEEK: Kathleen recommends watching “Everest: Beyond The Limit” on Amazon Prime, “Nomadland” on Hulu, and never watching “I Care A Lot” on Netflix (although she’s a massive fan of the actors in that movie.)

Calm Pills - Relaxing Uplifting Music

Happy new year everyone. Let's make the best of 2021. I'm energized and looking forward to crafting for you more mixes showcasing the best of what ambient genre has to offer. Let's start this year with another trip back in time to a mix I released 5 years ago as part of my Drifter ambient series, which I created under my previous pseudonym DJ Seroton. At the time, I dedicated it to the wonderful people behind Ambient-Nights (mixcloud.com/Ambient_Nights), who I had the pleasure of joining as part of the Ambient-Nights Mixer Family. Ambient-Nights was the site that got me hooked on ambient music since I discovered it in 2007. The quality of their mixes is really extraordinary, and they have a body of work that will sure take some time to go through, but the experience will be just as rewarding. Fun fact: I decided to call this mix after the second track, Weightless by Marconi Union. Few years after this mix was released, scientists singled out this song as "the world's most relaxing song." The song is filled with dreamy, mellow synths, soothing melodies and instrumentation composed of piano, guitar and electronic samples of natural soundscapes. Read this for more information: https://www.independent.co.uk/arts-entertainment/music/news/relaxing-song-best-weightless-marconi-union-youtube-surgery-anxiety-a9011971.html Making this mix was a labor of love. If you feel like showing your appreciation, buy me a cup of a coffee (uppmixes.com/donate). You can also share this with your friends, rate it or leave a review on Apple Podcasts or wherever you subscribed to this podcast. Thank you. Also, did you know that I have another podcast called Chill Pills. It features the same quality of craftmanship and careful curation you've come to expect from this show but focuses on more up-tempo genres of music spanning chillout, lounge, jazz, instrumental, lo-fi chill hop, etc. Check it out: https://link.chtbl.com/ChillPills The post Calm Pill 38 first appeared on Uplifting Pills.

The history of Jamaican Dub music is rich and fascinating. Dub grew out of reggae in the 1960s, and evolved well beyond its popular parent. It was a studio craft where producers created instrumental remixes of reggae tracks by removing the vocals, adding echo, reverb and delay, and dubbing in new ambient sounds. Essentially, Dub was an early form of popular electronic music. If you think all this had something to do with cannabis, you'd be understating the case. In a 1982 essay, LUKE EHRLICH said: "With dub, Jamaican music spaced out completely. If reggae is Africa in the New World, then dub must be Africa on the moon; it's the psychedelic music I expected to hear in the 1960s...and didn't. The bass and drums conjure up a dark, vast musical portrait of outer space, with sounds suspended like glowing planets or the fragments of instruments careening by, leaving trails like comets and meteors." Dub was a natural link to later electronic genres like techno, ambient, trip hop and electronic dance music. On this transmission of Hearts of Space, the trancey beats of Jamaican Dub and its electronic descendants, on a program from guest producer DAVID J. EGAN called DEEP DUB. Music is by JAH WOBBLE & MARCONI UNION, ORKUS, FINGERS IN THE NOISE, ECHO GRID, PURL & DEFLEKTION, LOSCIL, and MOTIONFIELD. Lyz Cooper is one of the world's thought leaders in the sound therapy field. She is the founder of The British Academy of Sound Therapy (BAST). Which was founded in 2000 following 6 years of research and development and was the first sound therapy training establishment in the UK to offer a professional qualification in sound therapy. BAST, now part of The International Academy of Sound Therapy has run a successful training programme in Australia for the past 3 years and will soon be running courses in other parts of Europe and the USA. Lyz's compositions and music projects have received excellent feedback – listeners have reported becoming pain free, deeply relaxed and uplifted. The launch of the Radox Spa campaign in 2011 was a turning point – confirming that the mainstream was ready for consciously designed therapeutic music. The piece created by Marconi Union in consultation with Lyz was voted the ‘Most Relaxing Music Ever' and came 11th out of 50 in Time Magazine's Top 50 Best Inventions Awards and is still getting media attention today. Lyz's music contains certain ‘sonic vitamins' – formulae which are known to affect psychological states due to the way that sound and music is processed in the brain. The success of Weightless, and the independent research carried out by Mindlab has shown that Lyz's techniques work. There is limitless potential for therapeutic sound and music! In this episode we discuss: What sound therapy is. The difference between sound therapy and sound healing. Lyz's techniques and methodology where she uses me as a case study. The healing and therapeutic benefits of sound and music. How different instruments, sounds and musical compositions affect the body. The ancient history of sound and how sound is encoded in us. The science behind sound therapy and what the research says in relation to health and wellbeing. How you can start to use sound to heal and help your health, simply and immediately. Even in the early days, the pioneers of electronic music knew they were on to something special. Here was a way of sculpting sound that made it like clay — something you could shape to your own creative vision. Today every artist can have electronic tools of almost unlimited power at their fingertips. We've had several generations of musicians tending the electronic vineyards, and these days the sonic wine is available in many varietals. For example, "downtempo" is a name invented in the 1990s to describe slowed-down, less intense electronic dance music. It's still beat-y but the atmosphere is chilled; rather than pumping you up, it floats you along with a relaxed vibe that leads to pure Ambient realms. On this transmission of Hearts of Space, a journey from Downtempo rhythms to Ambient space, on a program called 'ELECTRON TRAVELER'. Well! Christmas is nearly upon us, although here in Oz with summer only a few weeks away, it’s not the same for Mick, having fond memories of time spent in the UK with family & friends. You can call him a humbug, but there’s always some musician or label in our genre who must bring out a yuletide record, for him it just doesn’t work. You will be pleased or not, to note our lineup, as it is always been, to cover as much ground in so many different styles in electronic music, disregarding the more modern approach of house, techno, DJ, mixes, drum & bass, etc. After the strong showing of female artists in our last edition, it’s back with the boys, although Elizabeth Joan Kelly returns with her experimental songs. The ambient side, dark & atmospheric is quite dominant with, Eric -The -Taylor, Marconi Union, Phobos, Steve Roach & RNGMNN. Always good to have two of our well respected UK musicians here, Ian Boddy with Nigel Mullaney, improvising live with modular gear & the sheer diversity that Ivan Black brings to his music. Must mentioned Sula Bassana, Ayusp, & Void Expansion Ensemble debut on Sequences & a fine array of quality music from all of our players. We are in our seventh year of starting Sequences podcasts, beginning with easy accessible electronic music, i.e. sequential, Berlin school, ambient & more, but steadily over the years expanded our range to include strange & varied electronics, even the weird & experimental. Sometimes asked why don’t the podcasts be more like DJ mixes, that flow easier on the ear, but that’s not us, not only do we like to feature new releases most of the time, but also here to educate your musical listening, delving deeper into the genre. This issue has many of our favourite artists with new albums, including David Wright, Andy Pickford, Robert Otto, Bouvetoya, Marconi Union etc. Representing the female side and not for the first time, Oliviaway, Polly Fae & Enlia, all erring on the minimalist ambient side. Just a mention on the few newcomers, Bart Hawkins distinctive world of modular synthesis & pure electronic sound shaping, Corp & Telepath who are no strangers to the vapourware,(what ever that means), & the ambient scene, the critically claimed Chicago based contemporary musician Steve Hauschildt, spanning ambient, techno, arpeggiated electronica & post Kosmische styles. Little Ambient Machine soundscapes & atmospheres made with a modular setup only, featured on the latest third edition of Tone Science Module, on the Din label. Martin Gerke’s track’s from the 1993 album ‘Universal Thinking’ is our blast from the past. Topic - Reduce Anxiety By Listening To “Weightless” Music has a tremendous impact on our lives even if we're not aware of it. Have you ever seen a movie without its soundtrack? It's terrible. It's as if half of the movie is missing. Music is a therapeutic tool and isn't just for entertainment. Music has long been used to address mental and physical distress. Neuroscientists have identified the specific songs that reduce anxiety the most. The one song that reduces stress by sixty-five percent is Weightless by Marconi Union. He actually wrote the song in conjunction with sound therapists to reduce stress. The harmonies, rhythm and bass lines help slow the listener's heart rate, lower blood pressure and the stress hormone cortisol. Create your own list of ten songs that relax you the most. There are others known to have relaxing effects and you can find that list at drclaudia.net in the article called Make Your Own Kind of Music. Create the soundtrack for your peaceful life. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/drclaudia/message

Every year I make two lists of my favorites albums of the year.  One list is generally indie music and the other is ambient/instrumental.  Even though I have a difficult time deciding on the final group it is easier coming up with the indie list than it is for ambient.  Maybe it's because after a year of music they all tend to blur together and sound the same.  There are definitely some stand outs, like the two releases from Johann Johannsson this year.  But generally it's tough to make a list because there are a lot of quality recordings every year.   As hard as it is, it's still a lot of fun digging through a ton of releases to find my favorites and then out them together in a coherent mix.  The tracks don't appear in any particular order.  I just figured out what cuts sounded good together.  Not all the tracks from my best of list made into the mix because that's just the way mixes go sometimes.   Here's the list, I'd love to hear about your favorite albums of the year, tell me about them in the comments. Music can do a number of things, but can it help tortoises reproduce? The answer is no, but music can help us to relax and unwind. Researchers took the relaxation a step further by trying to create the most relaxing song in the world. The song was the result of the initiative of Radox, Mindlab, Lyz Cooper from The British Academy of Sound Therapy, and Marconi Union. How does their creation, titled, “Weightless,” compare to tea, massages, or a leisurely walk on the relaxation scale? Find out on this week’s show as @MaxOwens helps us learn about the art and science of music used for relaxation.

February 25th 2013 - Hello Earth men and women.... we’re so lucky & happy we’re still here! Asteroid 2012DA14 passed Earth at only 27,700KMs distance, dear Spacemusic friends. Listen to this episode to hear the best music that illustrates not only our well deserved survival but the earlier meteorite crash in Russia as well. Kind of funny when you think about it... 10,000 tons of mass entering the atmosphere, shockwave releasing 500 kilotons of energy, the power equivalent to more than 50 Hiroshima bombs, 20,000 people searching, finally found this ice hole being 8 meters in diameter (50 feet according to others) At least 53 fragments confirmed to have come from space have been plucked from the ice-covered Chebarkul Lake. More to be discovered. We guess? This episode might help you to relax and see the perspectives. We start in Mulhouse (East France) for the Ultimae LIVE event featuring CIRCULAR and SCANN-TEC amongst other great electronica artists. The Nuit Hypnotique #4 is recorded and released! Super music, from super people. Makes you realize how tiny we are and how big Asteroids can be... ;-) Marconi Union, the British musical trio formed in 2002, treats us with Sleepless. Electronica ambient meets organic instrumentation. What a fantastic experience this is! Also check out the documentary video embedded at our site under the Spotted Video section. Sounds from the Ground plays the track called Razz; wide, groovy, trippy & ambitious music. Do listen using headphones and you’ll immediately understand their ((((((( mixing skills ))))))) We have reached the no-stress level now; listen to the arrival of the Asteroid DA14 featuring the music by SCANN-TEC playing @ The Morpheus in Mulhouse again. Speaking of mixing... Vladislav Isaev knows how to give a song a twist just before the end, making you feel weightless 100%. Solar Fields and Sonnie Mishki... Sol and Lost Planet are certainly tracks you will never forget; mysterious, intriguing, beautiful melodies and warm pads, gently filling your room with modern ambient explorations. Yes, you are under hypnosis now sol.... .... time for meeting the Kings of Samples as we call them: Future Sound Of London. Listening to them for 20 years now (!) we invite you to explore Environments part II. Have a look around, be surprised by the variety of sounds, the scenes you experience, the no-turning-back attitude. 5 out of 5 stars. Check them out newcomers! Syngate.net with the amazing Michael Brückner; the final track for this show guarantees you 100% space and asteroid satisfaction... this one is released as the Luna series project by Syngate. This is a mix I did for my good friends at acloserlisten.com and lostchildrennetlabel.com The mix is called “daylight fades” because as I was listening to “Olancha Farewell” by Harold Budd [off Lovely Thunder]  it made me think of sitting on the front porch watching the sky begin to darken as daylight fades.  Once I had that feeling in mind I just kept my ears open for a couple of weeks listening for tracks that would work well with that theme.  The cuts are mostly newer music with the exception of a couple Harold Budd tunes.  I've be digging through my collection of Harold Budd music & kind of re-discovering pieces that I haven't heard for years. I really like this mix and hope you all connect with it like I did.  I'm working on some new mixes, a piano mix, sustain & decay vol. 3 and one of ambient music from non-ambient artists.  Hopefully  those will come to fruition in the next month or so two. I thought I'd try something a bit different...a mix that is beat driven. Of course it's not going to be some house music mix or techno dance trax. The mix is sort of in the same vein as the ones done by Alan, of Great Axescapes fame. He has a fantastic mix called "nowthatswhaticallmnmlambidubtechno! vol.1" that you can find here...vol. 1. This mix is similar in that dubby, ambient way. Only one artist, Quantec, in common though. I wasn't sure how the mix would work but I like the results very much. I'm listenbing to it as I type this, nice & loud so the low dubby bass lines reverberate around the house. Excellent. The other different thing about this mix is it is shorter than the others. An online friend, Mick, is running The "15 Minutes Of Fame' Mix Series" & he asked me to do some mixes. The only requirements are up to 40 minutes in length & no more than 10 tracks. That should help with some experimentation, may be an idea will work in a 30 minute mix but not for the usual hour-long mix. When I get a link to the mix series I'll post it here. I should be able to crank out 3 more mixes by the end of the year. Next up...a piano mix, a noisy-droney-scratchy mix and a best of the year mix. t r a c k l i s t : 00:00 Plastikman - consumed 04:44 Marconi Union - buildings without people 08:05 Trentemoller - miss you 11:50 Yagya - rhythm of snow #5 17:55 Underworld - pizza for eggs 20:20 Quantec - unusual signals 25:25 Ontayso - procesamiento 2.05 28:45 Tiki Obmar - ankeney, iowa 39:30 end

I made this latest mix for our annual trip to northern Wisconsin. I usually try to make one stargazing mix & one morning mix. The stargazing mix will be posted soon. This is the morning mix, to be listened to while drinking Intelligentsia coffee & reading the morning paper. At our northern cabin we didn't have daily newspapers so I made due with coffee, crossword puzzles & science fiction. To go with the morning coffee & sunlight reflecting off the calm lake waters, this music is suitably light. The majority of the tunes are new, most are from 2008. Some old favorites with new music make the mix, including Max Ritcher, Yellow 6, Milieu & Goldmund. New discoveries include Shirk, bvdub & Segue. So grab a cup, put your feet up & enjoy.
