Amin. (Dod).

At a little after midnight on the 8th of March 2014 passengers of Malaysia Airlines flight MH370 were called to prepare for boarding. By 12.38am all 227 passengers and 12 crew members were on board and ready to make their journey from Kuala Lumpur Airport to Beijing. Captain Zaharie Ahmad Shah was given clearance from air traffic control to prepare for takeoff. The Boeing 777 shot down the runway, reaching a speed of 180 mph before taking off at 12.42am. The 227 passengers came from 14 different countries and included five children. Malaysia Air Traffic Control was in charge of tracking the plane until it passed into Vietnamese Airspace. MH370 climbed steadily to 35,000 feet and moved northwards over the South China Sea towards Vietnam. It could be seen as a small blip on the screen as Lumpur radar radioed the captain at 01.19, “Malaysian 70, contact Ho Chi Minh, 120 decimal 9”. To which Captain Shah replied, “Goodnight Malaysian 370”. The blip continued to travel across the radar screen until it reached the outer edge and disappeared from view...Episode narrated by Top5sMusic by CO.AG________Our episodes deal with serious and often distressing cases involving serial killers. There will be moments that create detours in your life but that doesn't have to stop your journey. For some, they believe that money, time, or having the right connections is what matters most in order to reach your goal. In today's episode, you'll see that it's your actions and reactions that play the biggest role in your success. Michelle Blood shared the success she achieved after a near-fatal car accident shifted everything in her life. She went from creating and performing rock songs to creating and performing affirmations and visualizations. Things changed, even more, when Bob Proctor took an interest in what Michelle was doing. Michelle's gems:~ Somone may be looking for the thing that healed you for their own healing ~ When you consistently use your gift people will take notice ~ You manifest what you constantly think about ~ Circumstances out of our control teach us how to pivot ~ Be mindful of the negativity that you are holding onto and where it comes from~ Be willing to give and receive information Negativity has a way of veiling your ability to see opportunities. It can become almost like blinders that narrow your view of the journey ahead of you. When you learn how to pivot you will see opportunities in the midst of your situation. This will be fostered by the community that you surround yourself with which is what networking is another valuable tool you need for success. Having the right people around when negativity starts to rise up will help you in moments when things seem overwhelming. Your transparency during the journey matters. Let's be honest, there are many who only show the good times and the great Instagram photos. It had us believing that all the social media influencers were living like rockstars. Whelp, the lie detector test...you can finish the rest. Being transparent will not only put you in a better position to receive what you need but it will also inspire those who are watching your journey. (There is always someone watching) Michelle's transparency led her to Bob Proctor and yours may lead you to Michelle Obama's podcast. One thing leads to another. So often we find ourselves trying to juggle many different things in an attempt to make money. It leads to burnout and frustrations for so many entrepreneurs. Michelle made it a point to share that she started with one thing and it opened up opportunities for her to speak, write books, and create a thriving community. It gives you the experience you need to become an expert in that field. What is the one thing that you can work on now? Have you found yourself juggling way too many things? We would love for you to come to join the conversation in the #worldvoiceleague community. Meet Michelle: Michele Blood is a successful, multi-talented lady. Early in 2017, Pastor Raymond Koh was abducted off the streets of Malaysia—a military-style operation that took less than 40 seconds. He hasn’t been seen or heard from since. Since our first VOM Radio conversation with Raymond’s wife, Susanna (listen here), the Human Rights Commission of Malaysia issued a formal report on Pastor Raymond’s disappearance. Susanna will give us an update on what that report said. Raymond and Susanna’s daughter, Esther, will tell the story of the day she found out her dad had been taken, and what she misses most since his forced disappearance. She’ll also talk about the amazing way God prepared and strengthened her mom to go through this season of suffering. After you listen, sign the petition to join Christians around the world in demanding that Malaysia's government explain Pastor Raymond's disappearance. Susanna shared what a blessing it was to receive encouraging cards and letters from Christians all over the world after her last visit with VOM Radio. You can mail your cards and letters to her at: Susanna Koh #107 Liew Sow Yoke Lot LG109B, One Utama Shopping Center, No. 1, Lebuh Bandar Utama, 47800 Petaling Jaya, Selangor Darul Ehsan, Malaysia September marks the five-year anniversary of the launch of VOM Radio, and all this month we’re sharing highlights of the amazing stories God has allowed VOM Radio to tell over the past five years. While much has been written about the "refugee crisis" coming to Western shores, we rarely hear about the long standing crises across the Global South, where 85% of the world's forcibly displaced people's have been forced to seek refuge. Hashed had to flee Yemen after his father was killed, and what followed was an odyssey that has taken him from Djibouti, to India, to Malaysia, where his struggle is far from over. Hassan is from Syria, and he also wound up in Malaysia, after his work visa in the UAE expired and the Emirati government threatened to deport him back to Syria. Hassan spent 7 months trapped in the airport in Kuala Lumpur and, after becoming the subject of international headlines, private Canadian citizens stepped forward to help him find asylum in Canada. In the two years since, Koh hasn’t been seen or heard from; his car has never been found. It wasn’t Raymond’s first taste of persecution; he’d previously been mailed a box of bullets as a warning to stop his ministry. Our guest is Susanna Koh, Raymond’s wife, who will talk about how Pastor Raymond continued to minister in spite of the threats and danger. She’ll also describe a spiritual deepening she saw in her husband in the months before his abduction, and how she knows God was preparing him for the challenging time to come. Listen as Susanna shares how God has carried her and her family through the past two years, and how He’s even enabled them to forgive those who took her husband away. She’ll share specific scriptural promises and Christian songs that have helped her through dark hours of grief and anxiety. After you listen, sign the petition to join Christians around the world in demanding that Malaysia's government explain Pastor Raymond's disappearance. Susanna and her family have been greatly encouraged by notes, cards and letters from members of their spiritual family around the world. You can join in encouraging her by sending a card or a note of encouragement to: Susanna Koh #107 Liew Sow Yoke Lot LG109B, One Utama Shopping Center, No. 1, Lebuh Bandar Utama, 47800 Petaling Jaya, Selangor Darul Ehsan, Malaysia You can hear encouraging conversations like this one every week! Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and Singapore are both great travel destinations that have their own flavor. While staying in the Bukit Bintang area of Kuala Lumpur, we had the chance to take in Chinatown, several of the massive malls, and check out the Petronas Twin Towers. There are temples to visit, tons of street vendors with spicy food, and street entertainment every night of the week. Singapore is in a class of its own living as a city in the future. It is clean, safe, and luxurious. Beyond the beauty of the downtown area, you can visit the ethnic neighborhoods of Little India, Chinatown, and Arab Street. We give you the advice you need to make the most of your time in both of these beautiful destinations. It is close to night markets, street entertainment, and plenty of bars. It rained a lot while we were in Malaysia. You might want to check on the best times to travel before booking your trip. Chinatown in Kuala Lumpur is a great place to find deals on knock-offs. Sri Mahamariamman temple is a site to see. Extremely unique. I attended the TPC Kuala Lumpur PGA event after my buddy Vince came through from the States with a VIP entry. Singapore has the world’s best airport. It is gorgeous and something you should spend extra time visiting. We attended ITB Asia which is a large Asia-focused travel convention. Definitely worth our time as we learned a great deal about the travel sector. We found that Singapore has a lot of similarities to Hong Kong: 96 Hour Travel Guide. The Marina Bay Sands is an epic building with a mall, casino, and fun waterfront area. Hong Kong Soya Sauce Chicken Rice & Noodle is a humble street-food stall and the world’s cheapest Michelin star restaurant. Singapore is ranked as the Best Country for Expats to Work In.

Petronas Towers is the icon and focal point making it memorable. Not a lot of attractions and must see - ones that are are spread over wide area. Big events like Formula 1 has been key to driving tourism. Modern and fast changing. Often Hazy due to pollution locally but also from effects of forest fires in Indonesia known as Sumatra haze lasting 1 to 2 weeks a time. 3 main ethic groups : Malays , Chinese and Indians - religiously diverse but most of population is Islamic (official religion ) but not strict Islamic country. HistoryFounded in 1857 when Chinese prospectors sent to find tin in the area - only 17 of the 87 survived past a month due to malaria and other tropical diseases - but lure of tin attracted people. British took control and placed strong minded and visionary Chinese governor (Kaptain Yap Ah Loy) who ensured development. Occupied by Japanese in WWII with many Chinese tortured / executed and Indians sent to work on Burma railway building (death railroad). Post the war British ruled until independence in 1957.Best time to goPretty much anytime as always constant between 20 and 30C - no rainy season as such but gets lots of rain and flooding.Getting thereGood come connections by air and cruise ships dock in Port Kelang at Star Cruise terminal about 1,5 hour drive to KLGetting around Traffic is terrible and very congested - not very predestination friendly either. Taxis (called "teksi") - make sure they use the meters. Rapid transit system (LRT - light rapid transit) is modern, cheap and pretty easy to work out - information in English. Hop-on Hop-off bus tour - takes about 3 hours to get around - more than 22 stops - mixed views on it - go to all main areas. General tips Mandatory death sentence for drug dealing or possession. Conservative dress. Good English as is required in schools. Only drink bottled water with seal - not tap water. Haggling in markets and in places like Chinatown is the norm. Must do things to do and and seePetronas Twin ToursWhen opened was tallest building in world until Taipei 101 took the title away - limited tickets each day to go up (only about 1000) so book online before you go or get there very early - 41st floor sky bridge then up to 86th floorSuria KLCC Mall below has over 600 designer storesKLCC park behind it is park is impressiveKL TowerNext best alternative if cannot get up Petronas though maybe better as not only see the views but also the towers - viewing from about the same height - within the Bukit Nanos forest within the cityCentral MarketBeen going since 1888 Can get the rapid transit there from Petronas as just a few stops on red line and about 1,80 ringgits each - very easyChinatownNext to Central market - old fashioned houses, markets etcNearby is Sir Mahamariamman Temple - built 1873 - very ornate Hindu templePer Dans Botanical Garden areaBird park, butterfly park and botanical gardens for nature loversGardens has over 3000 species orchids, 5000 species of hibiscus flowers created in 1880sButterfly park 6000 butterflies and 1000 species with exotic plants to create right environmentsMerdeka Square (aka Independence Square)Used it be cricket ground in British colonial times - where Independence declared now surrounded by some key buildings - 100 metre flagpole said to be tallest in worldSultan Abdul Samad building - houses supreme and high courts St Mary's cathedralRoyal Selanger ClubNearby is Masjid Jamek - National Mosque built in 1965 and largest in SE Asia - impressive looking buildingLittle India - restaurants and shops but not as in Singapore ShoppingBukt Bitang area - popular shopping area - highest concentration of malls in the city - especially for computers and electronics.Golden triangle in KLCC around towers.Further afieldBatu caves - 9 miles north - limestone caves of varying sizes - Hindu shrine inside largest cave - over 270 steps to get to it - smaller cave has museum about Hindu mythology
