Have you ever felt torn between who you are... and who you used to be? Inside all of us live competing identities—conflicting desires, beliefs, and values. True growth begins not by choosing one or the other, but by learning to honor and integrate them with compassion and clarity. In this powerful intervention from Date with Destiny 2024, Tony Robbins works with tech entrepreneur Josh—whose journey took him from washing dishes in college to building software used by hundreds of millions. He's achieved incredible success—and endured painful setbacks—but even with everything he's built, something feels off. The fire inside him has burned out. Josh has embraced the spiritual, laid-back “hippie” within—the side of him that no longer chases external wins. But that identity conflicts with the ambitious, relentless entrepreneur he used to be... and that internal battle has left him stuck. Tony helps Josh uncover how his unconscious mind has kept these parts of himself at odds—and how to bring them into alignment to unlock his full potential. Using tools like the Psychology of Human Needs and Collapse Anchors, Tony guides Josh to create a new story: one where he doesn't have to choose between sides but can rise as something greater. This isn't just one man's breakthrough—it's a reflection of the journey we all face. Because when we create harmony within, we awaken the power to become who we're truly meant to be. We hope this serves you—and we'd love to hear what insight you take away. *You can watch this intervention (and tons of powerful Tony Robbins content) on our official YouTube channel: youtube.com/@TonyRobbinsLive *Tony Robbins is a #1 New York Times best-selling author, entrepreneur, philanthropist, and the nation's #1 Life and Business Strategist. When I saw this post from Self-Care Canvas (@selfcarecanvas) it of course came to me as so many people are showing themselves to be the exact opposite (multiple times a day) of this quote: “Be humble and never think you are better than anyone else. We all leave this world with nothing.” It's both sad to me and also amazing how so many don't get this simple, yet valuable point. I know / I believe that we do leave with the love & relationships that we had for others in our lifetime! We leave that behind for others too. Now, I also believe that the world has SO MANY examples of people living lives that are not humble, not serving others, not showing kindness & empathy, etc. So we have plenty of examples of what we don't want to be in life. We need to be the example for others as to a better way to live our lives. Again, sorry for getting fired up and emotional with this episode, but I'm beginning to see things with a bit more clarity every single day!! I hope this helps you to do the same. Sara Blakely is the founder of Spanx and opens up about believing in her products and trusting her gut. She created her revolutionary brand after identifying a problem in her wardrobe: what undergarments could she wear with white pants? Blakely's answer to that question started a shapewear revolution. She used the money she earned selling fax machines to launch her products, which soon started flying off the shelves of department stores and became a wardrobe staple for millions. She sold her majority stake in Spanx in 2021 after more than twenty years at the helm. Blakely opened up to Hoda on her journey to success, embracing failure, and trusting her intuition.
Hey Heal Squad! We're back with Part 2 of our conversation with Denise Kirtley, and this one is packed with real talk about what it actually takes to maintain strength, build muscle, and feel your best in midlife and beyond. Denise gets candid about her journey from emotional eating and burnout to becoming a bodybuilding competitor—and what it felt like after she stepped off the stage. She opens up about learning that your leanest body isn't always your happiest body, how to find your “healthy weight,” and why building a sustainable, strong life matters more than hitting a number on the scale. We dive into her daily health non-negotiables, how she breaks down the fear around lifting heavy, and why acceptance is just as important as ambition. PLUS, Denise shares the powerful mindset shift that helped her push through self-doubt and start living with intention. If you've ever struggled with consistency, negative body image, or just need motivation to start again—this episode will meet you exactly where you are.

It's not motivation you need, but the courage to stop running from yourself. Trusting the process, even when doubt creeps in, is part of the journey. Sometimes, growth feels like carrying the weight of the world, but that's proof you're still in the game. Failure isn't about falling short. It's about sitting across from yourself and wondering if the best is behind you. Let the descent be earned and collapse at the finish line, not walk away from the race.More from Eddie Pinero:Monday Motivation Newsletter: https://www.eddiepinero.com/newsletterYour World Within Podcast: https://yourworldwithin.libsyn.com/Stream these tracks on Spotify - https://spoti.fi/2BLf6pBInstagram - @your_world_within and @IamEddiePineroTikTok - your_world_withinFacebook - https://www.facebook.com/YourworldwithinTwitter - https://www.twitter.com/IamEddiePineroBusiness Inquiries http://www.yourworldwithin.com/contact#liveinspired #yourworldwithin #motivation

I found a super strong & powerful post that got me fired up and it only has seven words to it. This came from the Power of Positivity (@LIVEpositivity) “Strong people rarely have an easy past.” As I got to thinking about this, I started seeing myself in a way that I usually don't see myself at all. I realize I'm a lot stronger than I give myself credit for due to the “storms” I have been through. It also occurred to me that I am a lot stronger and better because of the storms that my loved ones have gone through as well. This episode I got a bit fired up and emotional (I know, big surprise… LOL) as I really started to see myself and my loved ones in not only a different light, but a much stronger & clearer light too!! I hope this episode shows you about the true statement from Morrie Schwartz, from Mitch Albom's “Tuesdays With Morrie” - where he reminded us that “death ends a life, not a relationship.” If we keep working on our relationships in life, and not what the world tells us is important, we will keep getting stronger for sure. Ever feel trapped in your own box? In this brutally honest episode, Mss Francois (the Multi-talented and Super Sexy powerhouse from Trinidad and Tobago) exposes the immigrant journey nobody talks about—being kicked to the curb with her belongings in garbage bags just months after arriving in America. She doesn't sugarcoat it: "It sucked. I hated it." But from those black trash bags emerged unfiltered wisdom on building success when nobody believes in you. Discover why strangers often lift you higher than your own family, why your phone contacts list might be sabotaging your future, and how to escape the perfection trap that's killing your progress. This isn't your typical "work hard and succeed" pep talk. It's a no-bullshit conversation about recognizing when fear of success is more paralyzing than fear of failure, why your team doesn't need to be physically near you to change your life, and how humor can literally heal your body while building your confidence.Follow Mss Francois: LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/mss-francois-31350a1b3/ Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/MssFrancois/ Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/mss_francois/ TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@mss_francois Twitter: https://x.com/Mss_Francois?s=09 YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/c/TheMssFrancoisShow1As always we ask you to comment, DM, whatever it takes to have a conversation to help you take the next step in your journey, reach out on any platform!Twitter, FaceBook, Instagram, Tiktok, LinkedinDISCLOSURE: Awards and rankings by third parties are not indicative of future performance or client investment success. Every single man listening to this is familiar with discipline and has applied it (to varying degrees) in his life. We generally think of discipline as an overall good thing (and, I think it is) but it can often lead to bouts of frustration and unnecessary suffering if utilized incorrectly. My guest today, Craig Ballantyne, makes the case that discipline, although, a powerful force for productivity comes with strings attached, and isn't the end-all, save-all it's often made out to be. Today, we talk about what true discipline is not, why chasing the wrong target is so common and what to do about it, what I call the “self-help hangover” and how to avoid it, why you should know the distinction between standards and expectations, and how to avoid what Craig calls, “The Doom Loop” in your life. Eight Super Bowl rings. Six with the Patriots. And a mindset that goes far deeper than football. In this rare, wide-ranging conversation, Bill Belichick breaks down the invisible factors behind sustained excellence: discipline, preparation, and the mental edge that separates contenders from champions. He shares the surprising reason he kept Tom Brady as a fourth-string rookie, why talent alone is never enough at the highest level, and how true competitors find ways to win long after their gifts fade. You'll hear why Belichick cut a player the week of the Super Bowl, how technology is changing player preparation and locker room culture, and why “we have control of the game” became the rallying belief in the greatest comeback in Super Bowl history. This episode covers everything from how he decides when to push a player—or pull back—to how trust is built inside elite teams. Belichick also explains why the price of success is always paid in advance—and why there's no shortcut around the work. If you lead a team, or want to lead yourself better, this episode is a masterclass from the greatest football mind of our time. Bianca Fernandez-Clark is a 7x Ironman finisher, Chair, and co-founder of Women in Tri UK, a charity on a mission to bring more women into triathlon and break down barriers in the sport. With no background in sport, Bianca laced up her trainers at age 29 to tackle a 10km as a way to manage her mental health. From there, she progressed to marathons and, in 2016, took on the challenge of learning to swim and cycle to complete her first triathlon. As a Black/mixed-race woman, Bianca has been vocal about the lack of diversity in triathlon, especially at long-distance events, and has worked to highlight the barriers faced by the Black community in accessing swimming. In 2022, she co-founded Women in Tri UK, and the organisation has been growing ever since, working hard to make triathlon more inclusive and accessible for women everywhere. By day, Bianca works full-time in the financial sector, but every spare moment is dedicated to continuing her own triathlon journey and supporting the work of Women in Tri UK. *** New episodes of the Tough Girl Podcast drop every Tuesday at 7 AM (UK time)! WOW.. this one hit me hard… right in the heart. It came from liminal (@Liminal1988) and it's a note that is titled “Dear Younger Me.” It starts out “You didn't know many things. You didn't know how life would turn out, or why certain things were happening to you. And that's ok….” and the last couple of lines “.... You're still learning, still healing. There's always something good in you. There was always something special about you. Then, and even now.” This got me thinking about my younger self and how that part of me (all the parts of my younger self) is still with me. The saying of how our past is our best mentor still rings true. I think it becomes even more valuable and special, when we are able to connect it to the memories, feelings, emotions, etc., of our younger self(s). Make sure you look this one up & take it to heart to make changes that you can connect with for your life! Thanks for listening. Repeat after me: "Fasting is NOT a "diet." If you treat this healing modaily as a fad or diet, it can unintentionally hinder your progress. Fasting is an innate and instinctual behavior that our bodies can benefit from, it is the oldest healing modality in recorded human history. It can be initially challenging to break the habit of feeling like you need to eat all day to achieve your weight loss goals, this is what we grew up hearing. You may even find yourself still believing the broken rhetoric of conventional diet culture, believing that obsessively counting and restricting calories will lead you to be successful. This way of thinking is understandably hard to break if thats all you have ever known about successfully losing weight. This week we go over what diet culture DOESN'T talk about. Are you seeking a supportive hand on your fasting journey? I'm here to provide the guidance and encouragement you need! This week, we did something I've never talked about publicly before: a 72-hour water fast! But before you picture weight loss gimmicks or punishment, let's set the record straight: this was a functional health experiment rooted in curiosity, not restriction. Inspired by Fast Like a Girl by Dr. Mindy Pelz, I timed this fast with my Power Phase (Days 1–10 of my cycle) to align with rising estrogen and maximize the benefits. In this episode, I walk you through the “why” behind this advanced strategy—deep cellular cleanup, gut healing, immune support, and a major mental clarity reset. We'll unpack the science of what happens at different fasting milestones and why this isn't something I recommend as a starter strategy for clients. You'll also learn how women should approach fasting differently than men, especially in relation to their cycles and hormone resilience. I'll share how I prepped, what I experienced physically and emotionally, and what this fast revealed about my relationship with hunger, discipline, and intuition. Spoiler: this wasn't easy, but it was powerful. Whether or not a long fast is right for you, my goal is to encourage deeper body awareness and smarter strategies; not extremes. Tune in to hear what surprised me most, how this ties into hormone health, and why syncing with your cycle might be the missing piece. If you've ever felt confused about fasting, this episode will help you reframe it entirely. DM me your questions or share this episode with a friend who needs a fresh take on fasting. Through honest personal stories and powerful psychological insights, we explore what truly drives change and why waiting for motivation might be what's holding you back. You'll learn how momentum begins, how your brain miscalculates risk, and a simple framework to help you take action, even when it's hard. Here's the episode related to today's discussion and why we highly recommend listening to it as well:#373 | How to Tell if You're Dissociating - https://apple.co/3H5JNaH #331 | Are You Emotionally Immature? - https://apple.co/42Zshw3Out of the Mud (OOTM): "The Skills for Being a Great Partner" - https://us02web.zoom.us/meeting/register/-tSEztgpRHaPogd-Z2Xbbg#/registrationLearn more about the On-Demand Therapy - #YouDoYou Program: https://evolveventurestech.com/therapy/_________________Connect with Emilia, Bianca & the EVOLVE VENTURES Community:Website: http://www.evolveventurestech.comInstagram - https://www.instagram.com/evolveventures/Facebook - https://www.facebook.com/EvolveVenturesTech (Public Page)Evolve Ventures Society (Private Facebook Group) - https://www.facebook.com/groups/457130589193794Emilia's IG - https://www.instagram.com/evolvewithemilia/Emilia's TikTok - https://www.tiktok.com/@evolvewithemiliaBianca's IG - https://www.instagram.com/evolvewithbianca/Bianca's Tiktok - https://www.tiktok.com/@evolvewithbianca?_t=8gq3wqu4fAx&_r=1 Connect with Emilia & Bianca from Evolve Ventures for FREE:https://calendly.com/emiliasmith/free-evp-communityconnect?month=2025-04Show notes:(1:42) Bianca's story: The wake-up moment(4:41) The real reason we stay stuck(6:39) Motivation follows action, not feelings(9:06) The dopamine myth explained(11:52) The four keys to real change(14:19) Post-traumatic growth and self-belief(19:52) How your brain miscalculates risk(23:08) Neurodivergence and motivation(27:34) A simple framework to build momentum(30:01) How to get support and take action(32:56) Outro***Leave them a 5-star review if you felt their energy, became inspired, or felt as though the value was added to your life in your EVOLUTION.(Stay tuned for this coming Thursday's episode!)
Found a great post from Inspiration & More (@LifeWithJohn) where we were reminded that we always need to “Always remember that there is a strength within you that is greater than any storm.” Since we all face storms, this is something we all need to remember - we have been through tough times & we will continue to go through them. Since again, our Past is our best mentor, we can lean on those experiences that we have been through. As I thought about this more and more, I felt better about the storms that I have been through. Also remember that the storms never last!! Thanks for listening. This post hit home with me simply because I think we need more people pulling for others rather than hoping that others lose or have troubles. I'm certainly trying to follow what the Power of Positivity (@LIVEpositivity) shares here with this: “Call me crazy but I love to see people happy and succeeding. Life is a journey, not a competition.” To me, this is a good kind of “crazy” to be - encouraging others to win in life compared to being a critic and wanting others to lose. The world needs more people to look at celebrating others, instead of criticizing people. Thanks for listening. Every body needs a body. Every person needs a person. Everyone is looking for someone who is looking for them. Listen and see what we are talking about. You'll be Happy you did! In this episode you will notice that one statement will lead into the next and then the next, just as in life. All of these statements will culminate with the lives of these modern day heroes who...well let's not get ahead of ourselves. We don't want to give it away. We would also like to give a special thanks to James Kocian, for the use of his amazing songs "TEDish", and "Mission". Check out more of his amazing stuff here www.JamesKocian.com or here www.Facebook.com/jameskocianmusic and tell him thanks from Happy Life Studios. The song we used for the intro was "Are You Happy" by Primitive Radio Gods. The ending song was "Make Someone Happy" by Jimmy Durante. We don't own any rights.
