Welcome to the Personal Development Trailblazers Podcast! In today's episode, we'll walk together through honest conversations, real stories, and powerful insights that bring clarity, courage, and calm to your next chapter.Lori Bell is a Clarity Coach for accomplished women who feel like something's missing, even when life looks great on paper. For years, Lori had the “successful woman” checklist on lock: solid marriage, fulfilling career, loving family. But inside? She felt restless. Like she was circling a decision her soul had already made, but she hadn't yet caught up.She wasn't broken. She wasn't lost. She knew exactly what she wanted. She was just performing success instead of living it. That realization came during a long walk, when Lori finally asked herself the questions she'd been avoiding. By the end, she had answers, alignment, and a new level of self-trust. That moment became the foundation of her signature method: Walk Into Clarity.Lori works with women 45+ who are ready to stop performing their lives and actually claim them. Whether it's a business they've been “researching” for years, a conversation they've been avoiding, or a move that would change everything — Lori helps them stop overthinking and finally decide. Her work centers around visibility — not in the social media sense, but in the soul sense. She helps women become fully visible to themselves again. She reveals the patterns keeping them stuck (like spiritual, beauty, or success performance) and brings them back to who they really are underneath it all.Currently based in Utah, Lori is a USAF Veteran, a military spouse, mom of three teens, and living proof that your “prime” isn't something behind you — it's the season where you finally see yourself clearly and choose accordingly.Connect with Lori Here: https://www.instagram.com/itsmelorib_/https://www.facebook.com/IAmLoriBeehttps://www.linkedin.com/in/lorirbell/https://unlockthevisibilitycode.com/Grab the freebie here: https://unlockthevisibilitycode.com/===================================If you enjoyed this episode, remember to hit the like button and subscribe. Steven Lazarus has done it all! From serving in the US Air Force, becoming an FBI agent and now published author! His narrative weaves from the military's rigid focus to the FBI's diverse landscape, where his roles spanned from narcotics to bomb disposal, reflecting on the adaptability required to navigate such shifts. We grapple with the notion that service, sacrifice, and the intensive search for a post-service equilibrium are not just career choices but life-altering decisions with profound personal impacts. As Stephen unveils his post-FBI life, we are reminded that the pursuit of balance is as vital as any mission. From explosive fieldwork to the quieter, yet profound role of educating intelligence officers, Stephen's journey illustrates the importance of cultivating personal growth alongside professional achievements. His transition to writing a novel illuminates the rich tapestry of life after service, offering a resonant message about the importance of self-care and cherishing relationships amid the aftermath of a high-adrenaline career. Imagine your daughter as a rising star for years in the Army is suddenly demoted fromE6 to E1 after reporting a toxic work environment and sexual assault? Now imagine that same daughter passing away just six weeks later after being denied a medical board and receiving an other-than-honorable discharge, out of money, facing failing health, and leaving behind two children. Join me this Wednesday as we talk to Felicia Cavanagh, the Mother of Allison, and my dear friend Sandy Duchac, from the non-profit Veteran Sisters, an advocacy group assisting with her case. Felicia Cavanagh is a USAF Veteran and mother of Sgt. 1st Class Allison Bailey. Since the passing of Allison in March 2023, Felicia has devoted herself to the pursuit of justice and accountability for her daughter. Felicia has been in multiple news articles and featured in the KTNV “Guarding the Guardsmen” series where she tells Allison's story of retaliation which ultimately led to her death.Felicia has researched Allison's military records; her medical and medical board request, as well as her legal file which, according to Felicia, violates numerous Constitutional rights along with a myriad of other legal concerns. Due to the severe nature of Allison's mistreatment, Felicia requested Nevada Senators Rosen and Cortez-Masto initiate an outside investigation. Felicia was granted this request and currently, a DoD IG investigation is taking place, looking into Allison's sexual assault and discharge.Felicia is also working to change NRS 412.2879 for all Nevada soldiers to grant the right to request and receive a Court Martial if charged with a serious offense. Felicia has earned the support of a State Senator on this endeavor.Ultimately, it is Felicia's goal to have this change made for all military members in every state and the nation. Felicia is also pursuing reform of the medical board system. Allison was deemed both mentally and physically not fit for duty, but yet denied her request for a medical board. This decision removed her required care and benefits at discharge, leaving her to die just six weeks later without any disability benefits. Before the loss of her daughter, Felicia was a retired Operations Manager. Felicia began her career in Logistics when she joined the USAF in 1987. Felicia managed facilities for UPS, Henry Schein, and Cardinal Health, supervising upwards of 150 employees, and managing inventory of up to one billion.Felicia is a graduate of Embry Riddle Aeronautical University where she earned her Bachelor's Degree in Technical Management and Accounting.Visit my website: https://thehello.llc/THERESACARPENTERRead my writings on my blog: https://www.theresatapestries.com/Listen to other episodes on my podcast: https://storiesofservice.buzzsprout.com

His experiences in the military, law enforcement, and the private sector led him to starting a podcast – aptly named “The Kyle Seraphin Show.” * Kyle attended the FBI Academy at Quantico (class 16-04) and was assigned to the Washington Field office in 2016. * Seraphin is a practicing Catholic whose pro-life stance and belief in the Oath of Office led to refusing the Covid-19 jab! * Kyle is "blowing the whistle” on the FBI's misuse of resources to target parents protesting at school board meetings. * His additional whistleblower activities included disclosing sexual misconduct by senior FBI management, abuse of the FBI's 702 FISA authority. * Several of the 51 former intelligence officials who signed a letter casting doubt on the authenticity of Hunter Biden's laptop before the 2020 presidential election are now pushing Congress to enhance the surveillance of Americans.

As we approach Veterans Day this week, I want to introduce Captain Jennifer Savage-Cawley, a long-time friend and colleague who served as a nurse in the United States Air Force. Since starting this podcast, I've been eager to talk with a military nurse and Jennifer made that possible. I was immediately curious to know why Jennifer joined the Air Force. Her response was hilarious and did not disappoint. Jennifer shared that military nursing can be challenging. It involves long hours, less-than-ideal locations, piles of paperwork, strong personalities, and the constant threat of deployment. Jennifer herself was deployed on a secret mission to Africa during Desert Shield. However, there are numerous benefits as well, such as becoming an officer and quickly climbing the ranks, having the military pay for your higher education, 30 days of vacation per year, free housing and medical care, and the opportunity to travel the world on the military's dime. When you add up all those benefits, the pride of serving one's country trumps them all. Jennifer should be proud of the seven years she served in the US Air Force, I certainly am. In the five-minute snippet, it's a Hallmark Christmas 24/7, 365. On September 29, 2006, Michael Monsoor and three SEAL snipers watched vigilantly for enemy activity from their rooftop post in Ar Ramadi, Iraq. When a grenade thrown from insurgents bounced off Michael's chest, he could have escaped. Instead, he threw himself onto the live grenade, shielding his fellow soldiers from the immediate explosion. Michael died thirty minutes later, having made the ultimate sacrifice. As George Monsoor (Michael's father) and Rose Rea show us in Defend Us in Battle, Michael had prepared for this selfless act all his life–a life that inspires us to have a similar generosity of heart. In addition to the Medal of Honor, Michael received a Silver Star, a Bronze Star Medal, and the Purple Heart for his years serving his country. But his greatest legacy is in the hearts of those he inspired to live, and even die, for the sake of brotherly love. Eddie "Macho" Diaz of Macho Blades joins Bob "The Knife Junkie" DeMarco on Episode 409 of The Knife Junkie Podcast (https://theknifejunkie.com/409). Macho is a USAF Veteran but started his path to knifemaking in an unlikely place, World of Warcraft (WoW) where he was a Night Elf Warrior and Master Weaponsmith. After a while Macho felt he'd wasted time and money becoming someone in WoW and decided to become a warrior/weaponsmith in the real world. He quit WoW and got into MMA and Kickboxing. He currently holds a purple belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. The discipline and courage Macho gained from training and competing in martial arts instilled values and grit that came in handy when building a knife making career. The other half of Macho's self-actualization was making knives, which he first learned from TuffThumbs, Gavco and Sugar Creek Forge on YouTube in 2014. Macho's big leap in knife making came when he found his mentor, Alan Folts, who taught both technique and design. He has landed production deals with Kizer Cutlery resulting in three licensed designs: Pryaxe, Butcher and Shark Tooth. Macho became a probationary member of the Knifmakers Guild at Blade Show 2022 and is now a full time knifemaker.Find Macho Blades online at https://www.shopmachoblades.com and on Instagram at https://www.instagram.com/machoblades. This week on the Active Self Protection Podcast we sit down with USAF Veteran and IT professional Bill and discuss the day his German Shepherd Dog Sasha (who we are told is a very good girl) alerted him to the presence of a random, masked, knife-wielding man who had entered his yard and was headed towards his house and how Bill was ready and able to defend his life with a concealed pistol and Sasha at his side. Then we sit down with investigative reporter Stephen Gutowski of the reload.com and discuss the ever-changing gun control positions of Robert Francis "Beto" O'Rourke. Active Self Protection exists to help good, sane, sober, moral, prudent people in all walks of life to more effectively protect themselves and their loved ones from criminal violence. If you are interested in the Second Amendment, self defense and defensive firearms use, martial arts or the use of less lethal tools used in the real world to defend life and family, you will find this show riveting. Join host and career federal agent Mike Willever and the rest of the ASP staff as they talk to real life survivors and hear their stories in depth. At age 17, Linda Maloney knew that she wanted more. Her parents were divorced and couldn't afford to send her to college. Looking to take control of her life, she joined the Navy.“I think when you grow up in a difficult situation, obviously you want better for yourself, you know?” Maloney asked. “And I just wanted to impact my own life.”In the Navy, Maloney served as both an air traffic controller and a public affairs officer. She wanted to be a pilot – and had been fascinated by flight since her childhood – but postings for naval aviators were rare, with only a handful available each year. Her fortune changed in 1987, when one of that year's flight school candidates dropped out, allowing Maloney to take that person's place. She graduated as a Naval flight officer in 1988 and spent the next 16 years as a U.S. Navy pilot. After the military's Combat Exclusion Policy was lifted in 1993, Maloney became one of the first women pilots in the armed forces to serve in a combat role.On this week's episode of Borne the Battle, Maloney discusses her two decades of military service, including the sexual discrimination she faced in the Navy, the value of maintaining personal relationships and the experience of ejecting over the Atlantic Ocean following an aircraft malfunction. After retiring from the Navy in 2004, Maloney became an author, public speaker and entrepreneur, and now serves as the project director of “Proudly She Served.” This project highlights and honors the service of women Veterans by depicting them in a collection of 12 hand-painted portraits that are both published in a printed book as well as exhibited to the public.“It was an amazing opportunity, I wouldn't change it for anything,” Maloney said of her Navy career. “I could never repay the military for the opportunities that it gave to me.”Borne the Battle Veteran of the Week:Navy Veteran Katherine Leahy Additional Links: Borne the Battle #187: Darlene Iskra: First Woman to Command a Ship in the Navy Borne the Battle 232: Graciela Tiscareño-Sato, USAF Veteran, Children's Book Author, Global Marketer VA releases Asset and Infrastructure Review report
