Yuri Elkaim is a business coach for health professionals who want to scale their coaching business. Yuri says that his superpower is being able to simplify the complex world of health and reduce your confusion with clear, actionable, and science-backed advice that cuts through the nonsense. Yuri believes that new health coaches and entrepreneurs should do three things: - Create an impactful product that gets results. - Use paid advertising to get clients in the door and get results for them. - Ride the wave of all your organic traffic flow. Building your business from scratch with organic (aka accidental) marketing efforts can work but it takes ages. Paid traffic gets you found more quickly than organic. This conversation with Yuri covers topics like how to get your first clients, how social media really works, how to go from a side hustle to a business, what products deserve paid ads, and how webinars filter out the uncommitted clients. Yuri also shares with us how to value commitment over conversion, when to become a social media influencer, how to price your products and services, why you should learn to do your own ads, and then some real specifics on how to actually deliver your products. Plus, as a bonus, he teaches the four things you need to do to reach a million dollars so stick around right to the end! In this week's episode of the Seven Figure Consultant Podcast, I'm talking about the unique challenges that women entrepreneurs face, including limiting beliefs and how they can hinder your business growth and keep you stuck in the low six figures. I also talk about the benefits of having a supportive team, as well as the importance of seeking help and mentorship, sharing exciting details about my high-level group container for aspiring seven figure women consultants. In this episode: [00:01:12] The appeal and familiarity of struggle in business and the concept of "let it be easy." [00:02:07] Differences between men and women in starting and growing businesses. [00:04:01] Reasons for women escaping to entrepreneurship. [00:07:55] Exploring the limiting belief of not wanting to hire a team in business and how it can hold you back. [00:08:50] The rigid thinking around past experiences and assuming that a bad past experience will always repeat itself in the future. [00:12:18] The value of being part of a business community, networking, and receiving support from others. [00:17:14] Bonus Segment: Seven Figure Secrets - Advice from your future seven-figure self on acting on your intuition and not ignoring inner prompts or ideas. Key Takeaways: Struggle in business is often seen as a rite of passage, a necessary step towards success. But it's important to remember that struggle doesn't define us. It's merely a part of the journey, not the destination. The independent nature of women entrepreneurs is both a strength and a challenge. On one hand, it fosters resilience and self-reliance. On the other, it can lead to being overlooked, judged, and criticized, and result in reluctance to seek help and mentorship. Being a solopreneur can feel safe and independent, but it can also limit business growth. Many solopreneurs get stuck in the low six figures and struggle to progress further. Quotes: “It's always this thing [with limiting beliefs] where it's like ‘give up now, don't even try, you can't have the thing that you want'. It makes sense why as women we fall into this trap from time to time, but great entrepreneurs, seven-figure consultants, get used to doubting our doubts and applying some flexibility to those brittle limiting beliefs.” “The vast majority of solopreneurs don't get to seven figures. They get stuck in the low six figures, and they don't progress any further because it is hard to do business by yourself.” “Surrounding yourself with the right people is a massively underratd way to explode your business overnight. One of the first strategies that I give to new clients is to go and have conversations. Because when you do this with the right strategic people, business growth happens fast.” Useful Links The Six Elements of a Seven Figure Business – Free Download Get in touch with Jessica to discuss your consulting business Jessica's LinkedIn

I'm not exactly sure when I got introduced to the concepts of EOS, the Entrepreneurial Operating System. It was likely during my 12 week “crash course” in business with Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Business program or 10kSB (https://www.goldmansachs.com/citizenship/10000-small-businesses/US/ ) – probably one of the 145 people in my National Cohort #6 mentioned it. I read the book Traction by Geno Wickman in 2017 and slowly started integrating the ideas into the way we run TruTech Tools. In the spring of 2022, I re-read it and presented to our leadership team. We decided to go full bore and started the process of adopting EOS company wide in the summer of 2022. On today's podcast I chat with our EOS implementer, Derek Pittak. Derek shares the key components of EOS with us including dissecting issues, following processes and traction, the execution piece. EOS has a lot of quick tidbits you can pick up. However, if this interest you, I suggest you get the book Traction and read it cover to cover or reach out to someone like Derek. The Dad Edge Podcast (formerly The Good Dad Project Podcast)
In this episode of the Dad Edge Podcast, Larry Hagner discusses the importance of measuring progress and introduces a new tool called the Five Dials, which helps participants track their growth in various areas of their lives. The boardroom is a tight-knit group of dad business owners who focus on growing their businesses, improving their marriages, and strengthening their relationships with their kids. Larry also highlights the trifecta of business, marriage, and parenting and emphasizes the importance of creating a nurturing environment for open communication with our children. Family connection and self-improvement are two essential aspects of a fulfilling and meaningful life. One of the metrics mentioned is the "boardroom score" based on the concept of family board meetings by Jim Shields. This score rates how well the speaker is connecting with his family and children. It emphasizes the importance of having a five-year vision and regularly reviewing and working towards it. One aspect of self-improvement that is often overlooked is the relationship between physical fitness and mental and emotional well-being. Larry Hagner highlights the importance of maintaining fitness in order to achieve better mental and emotional fitness. He also mentions that many people experience a decline in their fitness over time, but they strive to push themselves and their team to improve their physical fitness quarter over quarter. This episode highlights the significant role that accountability plays in achieving goals. As well as the importance of setting clear goals, having a plan, and regularly checking in with an accountability partner or group. By doing so, individuals can significantly increase their chances of success in various areas of life. Through accountability, individuals can create a path towards personal growth, success, and fulfillment. www.thedadedge.com/friday123 www.thedadedge.com/alliance
