In this episode of SpaceTime, we uncover significant advancements in our understanding of the universe and ongoing developments in space exploration.Astronomers Find the Universe's Missing MatterA groundbreaking study reveals that the universe's elusive normal matter is concealed within hot intergalactic gas filaments. This discovery, detailed in the journal Astronomy and Astrophysics, identifies a massive filament of gas, ten times the mass of the Milky Way, connecting four galaxy clusters. Utilizing the European Space Agency's XMM-Newton and JAXA's Suzaku X-ray space telescopes, researchers have successfully characterized this filament, providing crucial insights into the cosmic web's structure and supporting existing models of the universe.Concerns Grow Over Leaks Aboard the International Space StationFresh concerns regarding leaks aboard the International Space Station have led to delays in the SpaceX Axiom Spaceflight 4 mission. NASA is closely monitoring cabin pressure in the Russian segment of the station, where ongoing structural issues have been identified. Despite recent repairs, the situation remains a top safety priority as astronauts prepare for their upcoming mission.European Space Agency's Mars Rover ProgressThe European Space Agency's ExoMars rover, Rosalind Franklin, is back on track to land on Mars in 2028, seven years later than originally planned. This mission aims to search for signs of past life on the Red Planet and investigate its geochemical environment. With new funding and NASA's agreement to provide launch services, the Rosalind Franklin rover is undergoing final tests to ensure its success on the Martian surface.www.spacetimewithstuartgary.com✍️ Episode ReferencesAstronomy and Astrophysicshttps://www.aanda.org/European Space Agencyhttps://www.esa.int/NASAhttps://www.nasa.gov/Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/spacetime-space-astronomy--2458531/support.00:00 This is Space Time Series 28, Episode 76 for broadcast on 25 June 202501:00 Astronomers find the universe's missing matter12:15 Concerns grow over leaks aboard the International Space Station22:30 European Space Agency's Mars rover progress30:00 Science report: New insights into conversion therapy and health impacts

Houston, we have a baby mama problem. What happens when a space mission goes wrong, and the astronauts bring back more than just Mars rocks? You get Species II, a bigger, bolder, and weirder follow-up that doubles down on the sleaze, the sci-fi, and the mutant mating. Today, our hosts dive into this sequel, pondering the true mystery: why should Peter Boyle and James Cromwell ever be in the same movie? Buckle up! Things are about to get even more sticky.
George Noory and professor James McCanney explore his research into the dangers posed by pole shifts, the difference between magnetic and physical pole shifts, and if similar events may have devastated Mars and could happen on Earth as well.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
Today we have the second installment of our interview with Dr. Michael A. Schmidt, the founder, CEO, and Chief Scientific Officer of Sovaris Aerospace, a company focused on assessments and solutions applied to humans in space and extreme environments on Earth. In today's interview, we talk to Michael about NASA's plans to send humans to Mars and build permanent colonies on the Moon and Mars. We also talk to Michael about his recent book, “Building a Space-Faring Civilization,” which addresses the challenges of civilian spaceflight and the construction of space settlements. In part one of our interview, Episode 182, we talked with Michael about his pioneering work in the field of precision medicine and how he has used it to improve the cognitive and physical performance of astronauts as well as NBA, NFL players and Special Operations forces. In addition to his work with Sovaris, Michael also is a professor of aerospace medicine at the University of Central Florida College of Medicine, one of the few programs in the U.S. that offers a medical residency in aerospace medicine. Show notes: [00:03:00] Dawn picks up our interview from where we left off in part one, discussing the Human Research Program for Civilian Spaceflight. She goes on to mention that Chris Mason at Cornell University has a biobank of 1,500 samples across 22 astronauts and seven missions, and that these samples will lead to deeper insights on the effects of spaceflight on humans. Dawn switches gears to ask Michael about the cognitive and physical challenges of spaceflight over long duration missions. [00:13:03] Following up on the cognitive challenges of long duration spaceflight, Ken mentions that the hippocampus, the primary memory center of the brain, has a relatively low radiation threshold compared to other tissues in the brain. Ken asks Michael to touch on the vulnerability of specialized brain tissues to radiation, particularly in the context of a long duration spaceflight to Mars. [00:21:53] Ken mentions that it is understood that the APOE4/4 genotype is associated with impaired cognitive performance under certain circumstances and an elevated risk of dementia. While it is currently unknown whether APOE4/4 has any correlation of increased risk associated with cognitive impact resultant from environmental exposure due to spaceflight, Ken highlights the concern with sending APOE4/4-positive astronauts on long duration spaceflights without knowing the risks. [00:29:26] Ken notes the worsened cognitive impacts resultant from medical radiation, and while therapeutic radiation is different than radiation experienced by astronauts, these results give some indication of the effects astronauts might experience. [00:33:27] Dawn mentions that we recently had planetary scientist and director of NASA's Haughton-Mars project, Pascal Lee, on the podcast, who explained his view that since there are so many engineering and biological challenges with going to Mars, we should take a more measured approach to a Mars mission, perhaps even beginning with a roundtrip to Mars rather than landing on our first visit. Dawn asks Michael what his thoughts are on this approach. [00:37:29] Ken shifts the discussion to the subject of one of Mars' moons, Phobos, and its potential role in a Mars mission. [00:40:30] Dawn pivots to talk about Michael's Book “Building a Space-Faring Civilization: Advancing the Renaissance of Science, Medicine and Human Performance in Civilian Spaceflight.” Dawn asks Michael to talk about the chapter concerning the question of space radiation from the standpoint of precision medicine. [00:55:12] Dawn asks Michael to talk about the lack of appreciation people have for the fact that a Mars mission would be the most dangerous thing we've ever done. [00:59:06] Ken mentions that Michael has worked with a lot of organizations, including Space X, which has a program, the Space X Mars Colonization Program,
In 1968, six-year-old Andrew Basiago stepped through Tesla's teleportation device and emerged at Abraham Lincoln's Gettysburg Address in 1863. He was part of Project Pegasus, DARPA's classified program using technology reverse-engineered from Tesla's confiscated research. The program began after Sputnik shocked America into creating DARPA to prevent technological surprises. When scientists rediscovered Tesla's stolen files, they found blueprints for a teleportation machine that could bend space and time using zero-point energy. Adult test subjects either vanished, aged rapidly, or arrived in pieces across different moments. Only children's flexible minds could handle temporal displacement, so DARPA recruited 140 young "chrononauts" for missions throughout history. By 1980, the technology evolved to transport people to Mars, where Basiago claims he served alongside Barry Soetoro - later known as Barack Obama. But the program unlocked more than time travel - it opened doorways to infinite parallel realities that the government desperately tries to keep hidden. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vCjo9KBpK9I SOURCES & LINKS Tesla's Stolen Tech and the New Arms Race: • Weather Weapons & Worse | Tesla's Stolen T... JOIN SHERI HORN HASAN @ FOR THIS WEEK'S ASTROLOGICALLY SPEAKING PODCAST WHICH DROPS JUNE 23 @ https://www.karmicevolution.com/astrologically-speaking This week's podcast reviews the major astrological energies affecting us right now—including the ongoing global realignment of partnerships, authoritarian restrictions against individual freedoms, the transgression of previously established boundaries, and the potential of the U.S.'s involvement in war, to name a few.Since Israel's attacks on Iran began on June 13, & the Sun's entrance into Cancer at the summer solstice on June 20 (where he joined Jupiter & Mercury there), & Mars in Virgo, the U.S. decided to join also attack Iran on June 21 as we approach the Cancer New Moon on June 25.Sensitivity is the name of the game right now, whether we overreact due to hyper sensitivity & lash out, or whether we run and hide to avoid any future pain. As the Sun & Moon conjoin at 4'08” Cancer, they both join Jupiter at 3 degrees Cancer to form a square to both Saturn & Neptune in Aries, which inserts an element of confusion into whether transgressing Iran's boundaries by dropping bombs on their nuclear facilities was at all successful. This Sun/Moon/Jupiter conjunction has lent itself to massive over enthusiasm that the “obliteration” of any nuclear threat from Iran, which may well turn out to be false. Similarly, their squares to Saturn/Neptune in Aries may highlight the hubristic nature of America's unquestioning trust in Israel's vaguely defined assessment that this threat was (or is) imminent over America's own intelligence assessment which concluded that this is currently not the case. This podcast look at the astrological energies leading up to this point where Iran has now retaliated against the U.S. base Al Udeid in Qatar located close to the Iranian border, and whether threats by Iran to actually close the Strait of Hormuz to international shipping are real or exaggerated. We explore the triggered effects of the Mars/Uranus square which perfected on June 15, and how it's brought us to this point of sudden warfare. And the effects of the Jupiter/Saturn square which has pitted old, restrictive conservatives against the young progressives a la the mythological battle between Zeus & Cronos, aka, Jupiter & Saturn. Further, we explore the meaning of the two yods, or fingers of fate, formed now since the June 20 entrance of the Sun into Cancer at the summer solstice & which will reverberate still through the upcoming Cancer New Moon at 4'08” Cancer at 3:32 a.m. PT & 6:32 p.m. on June 25. Voices--of both protestors against and adherents for war--may get louder as Mercury enters Leo on June 26, while Mercury's trine to Neptune late June 27 or early June 28, depending on your time zone, may make it easier for some to swallow as true anything from denials to complete fabrications. By the time Mercury opposes Pluto on June 29, we'll have a recurrence of the natal energy of the U.S. Sibly birth chart's 8th House Mercury opposite its 2nd House Pluto. So keep any eye what's happening by then with Congress's budget reconciliation bill currently stuck in the Senate as the GOP continues to believe that it can make tax cuts for the wealthy permanent at the expense of removing health care and more from U.S. citizens. This podcast includes how Uranus at 29-degrees of Taurus, known as the Pleiades point, may well result in metaphorical “blindness” about the potential negative results of actions taken now. At least until they become obvious in the future, since Uranus will hit this degree again not once, but twice before the end of May 2026. Will we wake up to where we've been blind to what's been going on around us and begin to “see" the reality/truth? Only time will tell…Join us for more Astro News You Can Use on another interesting podcast @ https://www.karmicevolution.com/astrologically-speaking See you then! Namaste…

Now we know why the Trump administration was declared the “peace presidency,” because those optics were necessary to escalate global conflict to emergency levels as part of a larger agenda that involved regime change in Iran. From the July, 2024, assassination optics, to the head of Palantir saying the next month in August that the US will fight a 3-front war against Russia, China, and Iran, to the second assassination attempt in September of that year, to the $100-million Mariam Adelson gave Trump beginning in July, it was all part of a build up that culminated in OpenAI winning a $200 million defense contract and Palantir obtaining a $1.3 billion contract from the Pentagon just weeks before the Israeli attack. Now we have learned that despite what American spies said, or US Agencies, or the Director of National Intelligence, or what even the misquoted IAEA said - “no credible indications of ongoing, undeclared structured nuclear programme” in Iran - that Palantir's MOSAIC counterinsurgency-AI was responsible for the Israeli attack, and now the American attack on June 21, 2025. This technology was also employed in Ukraine and Gaza, and is set to be used in the United States. Pretty convenient what Karp had predicted back in August, 2024. It's also pretty convenient that a largely Jewish company had the evidence to justify initial and future attacks that produce, if there wasn't before, a threat and an enemy.Palantir, OpenAI and Meta have also had executives appointed to the US military by the Trump administration in recent days. What's even more telling is that the attack on Iran by US forces occurred the summer solstice, a three day festival historically, and on a waning moon, the phase of Hecate, the goddess of witchcraft and the underworld, to help protect the B-2 bombers. This plays well with the Israel attack on Friday 13 at 3:30am, the witching hour, and the Jewish holidays that corespondent to the wars in Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria, and Libya. The initial Israel attack also occurred with Mars, god of war, in Leo, the lion, corresponding with both astrology and the biblical lion as the operation was called Rising Lion. The Summer solstice also aligns with the story of Samson and his solar hair, itself used as the name of Israel's not-so-secret nuclear weapons plan to destroy the world before the government falls. October 7, 2001, was the Jewish holiday of Sukkot, and the day the Bush administration initiated operations in Afghanistan; March 20, 2003 was the Jewish holiday of Purim, and the day Operation Iraqi Freedom began with preemptive airstrikes on a country that did not posses WMDs; October 20, 2011 was the Jewish holiday of Shemini Atzeret, and day Libya was officially overthrown with the death of Muammar Gaddafi; September 22, 2014, was the first day of Rosh Hashanah, and also the day the U.S. officially intervened in Syria against ISIS under Operation Inherent Resolve; October 7, 2023, the date when Israel allowed Hamas to attack them giving rise to the current onslaught, was also a celebration of Shemini Atzeret and a transition of Saturn “returns” through Pisces.Few stop to question the rhetoric of “Iran cannot be allowed to have a nuclear bomb,” or “but they chant death to America.” Israel can have secret bombs with no international inspections, though, and the only reasoning given why Iran can't is they would destroy Tel Aviv and maybe an American city because they hate Americans. But you do not need such a bomb to do that, as hypersonic missile have demonstrated in Tel Aviv. And, of course, just like the burning of Bush effigies in Iraq what is the reasoning for this blind hatred. Depending on the context, it varies, but the most recent case of this occurred when the Iranian parliament burned an American flag in protest of the US being pulled out of the “Iran deal” for it being too lenient, i.e., no regime change as far as Israel was concerned. And now we are at war again, based off of WMDs 2.0, i.e., AI algorithms predicting nuclear bombs like we have been sold since 1984 at least when the program was “entering its final stages.” In iconic Orwell fashion, too, Trump referred to entering the war that Israel started as “THE TIME FOR PEACE” - WAR IS PEACE. Virtually his entire base, and even political opponents, are finding justifications for the war as to not lose face, too, another version of IGNORANCE IS STRENGTH. An administration of peace cannot threaten countries that want peace, countries that want to try war criminals, and refuse to agree to any kind of peace plan. And we also know that Benjamin Netanyahu was and remains under investigation in his own country for criminal charges ranging from obtaining and leaking top secret documents, protocol tampering, and blackmail, all things shelved on October 7, 2023. Now a few days before the attack on Iran, cross-examination of Netanyahu was about tog begin.*The is the FREE archive, which includes advertisements. He's a regular guy (or is he?) who goes on a memory vacation to Mars (or does he?) and gets a lot more than he bargained for.Join our Patreon for our bonus episodes! https://www.patreon.com/oldiebutagoodiepodFollow the show!Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/oldiebutagoodiepod/Facebook: https://fb.me/oldiebutagoodiepodPodcast Platforms: https://linktr.ee/oldiebutagoodiepodGot feedback? This week's astrology is laced with fate and full of feeling. A rare Yod—known as the Finger of God—forms between Mars, Jupiter, and Pluto, pointing us toward radical soul recalibration. At the same time, the New Moon in Cancer invites deep emotional reset, safety in surrender, and the courage to begin again. In this episode, we explore what it means to be cosmically chosen for a transformation, how to decode the messages of this rare celestial geometry, and why Jupiter's presence expands both the stakes and the vision. This is a turning point—one you've been training for lifetimes to meet.

Celso https://www.amazon.com/Rogue-Allies-Strategic-Partnership-between/dp/1985902176 In Rogue Allies: The Strategic Partnership between Iran and North Korea, Bruce E. Bechtol Jr. and Anthony N. Celso examine the influence of two rogue states whose rebellion against the United States and US-backed countries has serious consequences for international relations. Iran and North Korea have profited from illegal activities, such as the arming of terrorist organizations, in attempts to disrupt peace efforts in the Middle East and East Asia and to destabilize the rules-based order of the world. Bechtol and Celso uncover the origins of this decades-long alliance, consider elements that these two nation-states have in common, and explain how their relationship undermines neighboring regions. The authors draw from revealing interviews with Iranian and North Korean defectors as well as firsthand accounts from other sources, providing crucial additions to this body of research. While some scholars have compared and contrasted Iran and North Korea, few have delved into how this partnership works to achieve its far-reaching impact. By assessing key aspects of the Iran–North Korea nexus—including military, ideological, economic, and environmental forces—Rogue Allies investigates the link between two volatile states and the ensuing implications for global security. 11:15-11:30 2/4: Rogue Allies: The Strategic Partnership between Iran and North Korea Paperback – April 29, 2025 by Bruce Bechtol (Author), Anthony N. In episode 493 I interview some patrons and students talk about how the recent Venus and Mars retrograde periods went for them, and to demonstrate a principle I discovered about how retrogrades can describe the unfolding of a sequence of events over an extended period of time. One of my unique perspectives on Venus and Mars retrogrades is that they are not just the period when the planet is moving backwards, but instead represent an extended stay in one or two signs of the zodiac. This long transit often coincides with the unfolding of a sequence of events over several months, frequently centered on the topics of the whole sign houses the retrograde occupies. Now that the extended retrograde period ranges have been completed this month, with Venus finally departing from its retrograde sign of Aries and Mars departing from its retrograde sign of Leo, I wanted to document and demonstrate this principle by sharing some real-life stories. I'm joined by several students from my courses and patrons of the podcast who share their experiences of how these transits played out in their lives. In particular we explore three specific ways that I have identified about how retrogrades can manifest: Retrogrades that represent the unfolding of a sequence of events that play out over an extended period of time. Retrogrades that cross a sign boundary and connect two sets of topics across the whole sign houses involved. When Venus and Mars are retrograde in different signs and the topics of both houses they are in become relevant. Through these discussions, we see clear examples of how these extended retrograde periods timed significant life stories, from relationship changes and career shifts to health matters and dealing with family. This episode serves as a final case study to substantiate the theoretical framework I outlined in previous forecasts, providing concrete examples to help astrologers learn how to apply this concept to future retrogrades. If he hits 200% of the targets, it will be as high as $30mn, the company said on Monday. However, the bulk of Zaslav's future pay will be based on stock options after shareholders rebuked a model based on free cash flow generation. The securities filing made late on Monday said the beleaguered media boss would receive about 24mn in WBD shares that could be purchased for the current $10.16 price. If the share price were to double, the package could eventually be worth nearly $250mn.Two weeks after 60% of Warner Bros. In this episode of SpaceTime, we uncover groundbreaking discoveries and innovative advancements in the realm of space and planetary science.Record-Breaking Cosmic Structure DiscoveredAstronomers have imaged an unprecedented cosmic structure, a massive cloud of energetic particles surrounding a galaxy cluster that spans nearly 200 million light years. This remarkable finding, presented at the 246th meeting of the American Astronomical Society, challenges existing theories about particle energization, suggesting that giant shock waves and turbulence are at play rather than nearby galaxies. We delve into the implications of this discovery for our understanding of cosmic magnetic fields and the dynamics of galaxy clusters.A New Approach to Building MarsA recent study has revealed a novel method for planetary core formation, suggesting that molten sulfide rather than metal could create a core in rocky planets like Mars. This research, published in Nature Communications, offers fresh insights into the early evolution of terrestrial worlds, particularly in sulfur-rich environments. We discuss how this finding could reshape our understanding of Mars's geochemical timeline and its core formation process.High-Performance Infrared Nano AntennasScientists have developed innovative gold nano antennas that significantly enhance the capabilities of thermal infrared cameras, improving image quality and sensitivity. This advancement, led by researchers at Sandia National Laboratories, allows for clearer observations of thermal infrared radiation, with applications ranging from astronomy to national security. We explore the technology behind these nano antennas and their potential impact on various fields.www.spacetimewithstuartgary.com✍️ Episode ReferencesNature Communicationshttps://www.nature.com/ncomms/American Astronomical Societyhttps://aas.org/Sandia National Laboratorieshttps://www.sandia.gov/Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/spacetime-space-astronomy--2458531/support.00:00 This is Space Time Series 28, Episode 74 for broadcast on 20 June 202501:00 Record-breaking cosmic structure discovered12:15 A new approach to building Mars22:30 High-performance infrared nano antennas30:00 Science report: New dinosaur species discovered

Today's show begins with Marketing Mars. Zara Zimbardo deconstructs the mythologies of American Exceptionalism and Manifest Destiny as they apply to settler colonialism in space, and the billionaire tech bro infatuation with our closest planetary neighbor, Mars. Looking through several analytical frames, Zimbardo debunks any notion that there is a Planet B to escape to, remarking, “we're encouraged to believe that human ingenuity and industry can turn uninhabitable Mars into a habitable Earth. This fantasy is a distraction from the reality that Earth is being rapidly turned into Mars.” Then, we are rejoined by investigative journalist Peter Byrne. We look at his latest installments for Military AI Watch, including the Stargate Fiasco, how World War 3 will be fought inside data centers, and his most recent, AI Battle Space: Weaponizing the 5G Internet of Things. GUESTS: Zara Zimbardo coined the neologism Marsification in collaboration with the Bureau of Linguistical Reality, and co-created the concept album audio artwork Marsification: A Tale of Planetary Grief. She is an Interdisciplinary Studies faculty at the California Institute of Integral Studies. Zara is a member of the curriculum design and facilitation team of Partners for Collaborative Change, with a focus on the interdependence of social justice and the environment, and community-driven climate resilience planning. Peter Byrne is an award-winning investigative reporter and science writer, author of the ongoing series for Project Censored, Military AI Watch. The post Billionaire fantasies of colonizing Mars / Pentagon going all-in on AI appeared first on KPFA.
John and I welcomed Dr. Enrique Gaztanaga who is at the Portsmouth University, in the UK. The professor proposes an alternative theory of the universe to the established Big Bang theory. Since the JWST has been on line, problems with the Big Bang have been detected with our guest at the lead in proposing his alternative theory which is still under investigation. While listening to this two part program, visit Professor Gaztanaga's excellent website for more detail and a listing of his published articles. See https://darkcosmos.com. You can also read his new publshed paper in In a new paper just published in Physical Review D. Briefly and from his website, "the Big Bang was not the start of everything, but rather the outcome of a gravitational collapse that formed a very massive black hole — followed by a bounce inside. This idea — which we call the Black Hole Universe — offers a radically different view of cosmic origins, yet it is grounded entirely in known physics and observations." Listen to his discussion and check out his papers and more on his theory. I am sure Enrique will be back to Hotel Mars and to The Space Show many times over in the future.
Data are consistent with the hypothesis that the planet K2-18b is a Hycean planet with a warm liquid water ocean teaming with life and a thin hydrogen rich atmosphere containing methane and other molecules containing carbon. Scientists in an opposing camp point out what we might be observing is a rocky world with a hot life killing atmosphere.
