The murder of three young girls at a Taylor Swift dance class in Southport last year had a deep impact on the country. This week, the Prince and Princess of Wales visited their schools to see how the communities are recovering. Pod Save the King host Ann Gripper and Mirror royal reporter Charlotte Foster reflect on why William and Kate's return matters. And they also discuss the latest strand of the royal Epstein scandal, as a leaked email from the Duchess of York from 2011 led to multiple charities dropping their association with her. They also catch up on Edward and Sophie's adventures in Japan and a 116-year-old admirer of King Charles. And with Charlotte having moved to the UK from Australia earlier this year, they discuss views of the royal family Down Under and whether it is on the road to being a Republic. A Parenting Resource for Children’s Behavior and Mental Health
When your child's emotions spiral into a meltdown, it can feel like everything in family life stops. The crying, yelling, or tantrum behavior takes over—and no amount of reasoning or sticker charts seems to help. You're not alone. The truth is, those first 60 seconds of any child meltdown make a huge difference. Whether it's toddler tantrums at nap time, an upset older child after school, or an autistic child overwhelmed by sensory overload, how you respond sets the tone.In this episode, I share three science-backed steps to help you stay calm, reduce power struggles, and guide your child back to calm behavior. Why does my child's meltdown get worse when I try to talk them down? When your child is having an emotional meltdown, it's natural to jump in with explanations, logic, or questions like “Why are you acting this way?” But here's the important point: over-talking adds fuel to the fire.Say less. Too many words overwhelm an upset child.Use a calm voice. A simple phrase like “I'm here. You're safe.” can be incredibly helpful.Silence is powerful. Sometimes a quiet spot and nonverbal reassurance calm behavior faster than talking. It makes sense—when your brain is in survival mode, logic can't land. A child's tantrums are communication, not misbehavior. What should I do first when my child is melting down? When your child is in the middle of an emotional meltdown, it's instinct to explain, reason, or ask “Why are you acting this way?” But here's the important point: over-talking makes tantrum behavior worse.Say less. Too many words overwhelm an upset child's emotions.Use a calm voice. A short phrase like “I'm here. You're safe.” helps your child calm faster.Silence works. Sometimes a quiet spot and steady body language soothe toddler tantrums, an older child's strong emotions, or even an autistic child facing sensory overload. When the brain is in survival mode, logic can't land. Behavior is communication—not misbehavior. How can I comfort my child without making things worse? You can't force emotional regulation—but you can model it. Co-regulation is how kids learn coping skills and positive behavior.Offer presence, not pressure. Sit nearby without hovering or demanding.Mind your body language. Get down on your child's level—kneel with younger kids or sit near an older child.Use gentle gestures. If it feels safe, a light touch on the back or shoulder can help an upset child calm.Think of it as creating a safe space where your child—whether a toddler in a tantrum, an older child with big emotions, or an autistic child in sensory overload—can borrow your calm until they find their own self-control.Yelling less and staying calm isn't about being perfect—it's about having the right tools.Join the Dysregulation Insider VIP list and get your FREE Regulation Rescue Kit, designed to help you handle oppositional behaviors without losing it.Download it now at www.drroseann.com/newsletterWhy does this approach work for both younger kids and older kids? These steps aren't random tips—they're grounded in child development and neuroscience.Polyvagal theory shows that calm cues shift the brain out of fight-or-flight.Mirror neurons explain why kids copy...
Why does God want your money? He's all-knowing and all-powerful, and he created everything in the first place. As we continue studying the book of Malachi, we find out why money itself means nothing to God. Giving is an act of worship, and God won't bless what we aren't willing to give to Him.

Dharmesh Sheth is joined by ESPN's Mark Ogden, The Mail's Craig Hope and The Mirror's John Cross to reflect on the weekend's sporting action. We begin with Man United's chaotic home win against Chelsea. Craig believes United will always have enough quality to keep bad managers in good jobs. But will this win be a turning point in their season?Next we look at Graham Potter, who's feeling the pressure as West Ham were booed off, after a loss at home to Crystal Palace. Mark believes Potter tries to play an attractive style of football, but is there any way back for him from here?We also look at the difficult situation at Wolves, and whilst Vitor Pereira is struggling, Craig argues that Wolves have the right man in the role, and losing Cunha and Ait-Nouri was always going to be tough.Elsewhere, we look at Arsenal v Man City; John thinks Liverpool are setting such a relentless standard, that already in the season we have must-win games for the teams looking to challenge. We then move to Liverpool's Merseyside derby win. Mark highlights Liverpool's fire power but there's also a running theme of throwing away leads this season. Finally, The Athletic's Charlotte Harpur comes on to the pod to talk of the sad news of Liverpool FC Women's manager Matt Beard's passing. Charlotte talks of Matt's legacy both on and off the pitch, including consecutive WSL wins and Matt's empathetic character.Running Order:3min Man United's Chaotic Win Over Chelsea23mins Potter Under Pressure35mins Vitor's Wolves struggle 38mins Arsenal v Man City 52mins Liverpool Merseyside Win65mins Matt Beard's Legacy

Explore the divine blueprint of God's Temples and learn how they reflect His ultimate Temple: redeemed man in Christ. We're designed to be Temples of the Living God, in the image of Christ, the perfect human Temple of God. In union with Him, by His Spirit, He transforms us into His image from glory to glory. God's will for us as His Temples is to be filled with His Spirit, who indwells our holy of holies (SPIRIT), and also wants to fill our holy place (SOUL) and our BODY. The Tabernacle with all its furnishings was made according to a Divine Pattern (Ex 25:9,20, 26:30, Num 8:4, Acts 7:44, Heb 8:1-6). So, the earthly Tabernacle was made after the image of the heavenly Temple. The primary fulfilment of the typology of the Tabernacle is Jesus Himself. God came down to dwell among His people, by dwelling in a perfect human Tabernacle (John 1:1-14). The prophetic picture of the Tabernacle was perfectly fulfilled in the human nature of Jesus (Col 2:9). He was also filled with God's glory through the indwelling Spirit. He was the perfect prototype human Temple of God, the basis for all future human Temples of God. By His death & resurrection, He made it possible to multiply Himself in us, like a seed planted in the earth & rising again in multiplied form (John 12:24). When anyone receives Jesus, they are put into union with Him and become living stones in His Temple built on Him, their living Foundation, and He begins to change them into His image - first, by recreating our spirits in the New Birth, then by transforming our souls, and finally by glorifying our bodies. So, Christ is not just the fulfilment of the Tabernacle pattern, the perfect human prototype Temple, but also, the transforming power that changes us into His image as God's Temple, on the basis of His death & resurrection, so that we also become Temples of God, like Him. Thus, the pattern of the Tabernacle of Moses is primarily fulfilled in Christ, and 2ndly in us, His Body. God now lives in us, and wants to shine His glory through us. To make this all possible, on the Cross Christ fulfilled the Law of the Burnt Offering (Lev 1:1-12) & the Sin Offering (Lev 4:1-35). During the first 3 hours on the Cross, He offered Himself up as a sweet-selling burnt offering to the Lord (Eph 5:2). He identified with us and offered Himself for us, offering up His perfect human righteousness to God, to be accepted on our behalf, so that in Him we might be possess & be covered in His righteousness. On the basis of this aspect of the Cross, His righteousness is offered to us as a free-gift. From noon until 3pm, He fulfilled the type of the Sin Offering. He who knew no sin became sin for us on the Cross (2Cor 5:21). God signified this in the heavens by turning the sun to darkness, a picture of the radiant Sun of righteousness being covered with the darkness of our sin. In His Atonement, He paid the penalty in full for all our sins, so we can be forgiven, if we trust in Him. As our Sin-Offering, He took our sin and the punishment we deserved, releasing God's forgiveness & mercy to us, and as our Burnt Offering, He released His righteousness & life to us as a free-gift of grace. Christ's Altar of Burnt Offering is the everlasting power source for all of God's human Temples forever, for He gave Himself for us to release His everlasting righteousness & life, which will uphold us for all eternity. The truth that His Sacrifice is forever effectual in satisfying God and in releasing His grace to us is revealed in the Law of the Burnt Offering (Lev 6:8-13). His act of obedience in offering Himself up for us on the Cross provides for us an abundant everlasting source of grace (Rom 5:8-21). By His once for all perfect offering, He gave us His righteousness, grace & life, as our everlasting possession. As one moves toward the Holy Place of worship, after the Altar of Burnt Offering was the Laver (Ex 40:30). (1) He sacrificed Himself on the Cross for His Bride (represented by the Bronze Altar), so that (2) He might sanctify & cleanse us by the WASHING of His WORD (the Bronze Laver) - Eph 5:26. The LAVER represents God's WRITTEN WORD, which reveals His LIVING WORD – Christ, the source of eternal life (John 5:39-40). As we look into the Mirror of God's Word, the glory of the Person & Life of Christ is revealed to us, and His Spirit cleanses us from sin & sanctifies us to God (2Cor 3:18). The more we're cleansed & sanctified, the closer we can draw near to God to fellowship with Him and know Him (Heb 12:14, Matt 5:8). The Holy of Holies represents the spirit of man, in which was: “the Ark of the Covenant, in which were the Golden Pot of Manna, Aaron's Rod that budded & the Tablets of the Covenant” (Heb 9:3-4). These 3 items in the Holy of Holies correspond to the 3 items in the Holy Place, for the soul is made in the image of the spirit, designed to express & manifest the life & nature of the spirit.

This week on aBlogtoWatch Weekly, Ariel, David, and Ripley take the reins while Rick is away (Vacation? Sick? Secretly testing a smartwatch/tractor collab prototype?) And the conversation spins faster than a tourbillon on espresso. They roast Patek's new Cubitus (“Nautilus that went wrong?”), debate whether a $220K Greubel Forsey in steel is worth it for the mirror-polished backplate that mostly reflects your arm hair, and spar over whether watchmakers should run brands or leave it to the marketers. The trio dives into Geneva Watch Days tales of photographing grail pieces in suffocating, windowless hotboxes and gets lost in the Behrens x Vianney Halter KWH collab that somehow channels both energy meters and Nokia's “Snake” game. Toss in critiques of Hublot's dial-free Square Bang and admiration for Berneron's steel-armored platinum annual calendar, and you've got an episode full of horological heresy, genuine insights, and more oxygen-deprived giggles than a Swiss trade show should allow.

I had the opportunity to spend 24 hours of my life in the city of Athens in Greece. I was on my way home from a teaching mission, and if I only had 24 hours, well, I knew what I wanted to see. I wanted to see the Acropolis, and there it was on a hill that just dominates the entire city. That's where the ancient Greeks built a temple to their goddess, Athena, after whom, obviously, the city was named. Even after 21 centuries, I've got to tell you it is still an impressive, imposing, dominating structure up there on the mountain. Maybe you can even see a picture of it in your mind, if you've ever seen one before. It was the most sacred, most protected, most honored place in all of Athens. In fact, it was actually a crime to violate that temple. Of course it was that way in many cultures. The temple always got first-class treatment because your gods live there. Well, those ancient people had the wrong god, but they knew what to do with a temple. I'm Ron Hutchcraft and I want to have A Word With You today about "The Temple In The Mirror." Now, our word for today from the Word of God comes from 1 Corinthians 6:19-20. It's not about the Acropolis, it's not about the ancient Jewish temple, but it's about temples. Listen to where the temple is. "Do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your body." This is one of Christianity's most revolutionary ideas - you are the building God lives in. You can go in the bathroom, look in the mirror and see His temple. Even pagan people knew that the way you take care of your god's dwelling place tells a lot about how you feel about your god. Now, if you know Christ, you are God's two-legged temple. He's come to live in you by the presence of His Holy Spirit. That puts a whole new significance on your body - what happens with your mouth, your mind, your eyes, your ears, your hands, your feet, and every part of your body. Because in a sense, what you do with that body - everything you do with it - God is a part of. He lives in that temple. Everything you do to that body, you do to God. Now, even people without God in ancient days recognized that you guard, and you protect, and you keep special, and you honor the place where God lives. Let me ask you, "Have you been treating your body like the temple treasure that it is?" See, if you really care about your God much, you won't let His temple get run down. You won't let it have to carry the extra weight it's been carrying. You won't let it be too out-of-shape. You won't poison it with things that should never go into it; things that will degrade your body. It's a temple you're talking about, not just your body. That's a whole new reason to take care of it. See, that temple advertises what your god is like, and God deserves the best! Maybe you've devalued that temple with some junk you've been putting into it. Maybe you have defamed the temple of God by playing around sexually with His temple, dragging the name of God and the presence of God into things He is so much against, using His temple to satisfy your glands. Your body isn't yours. See, it was bought with the price of Jesus' blood. Your God lives there! Keep it special.
9.18.25 - Day 9/13 of the White Dog Wavespell - Lunar Moon 27 If you are a regular listener, you know why this day matters. It's epic. It's sort of terrifying. What we have endured so far in the Gregorian year 2025 - aka 'White Solar Mirror' - can still accelerate and add to its victims. Please listen for the cautionary 'prophesy' about how to move through this extremely intense energy field, and for the reward (of a sort) I'm offering at the podcast's very end.

I have to say, for maybe the first time in this entire series I am confused. I just don't know what really happened at the Mirror of Galadriel. Maybe I'm over-analyising it and it's really much simpler than I'm making it out to be, or maybe it's way more complicated and I need to have a better understanding of language in order to do it. But there are just some weird things that happened that I didn't have the answers for.

Admit to Rise: The Power of Powerlessness—Finding Strength in Surrender.I'm so glad you're here.In this podcast, we embark on a sacred journey through the twelve steps of recovery—starting with Step One: “We admitted we were powerless over our addiction—that our lives had become unmanageable.”This first step isn't just a line in a book—it's a threshold. A soul-deep moment where the mask falls off, the pretending stops, and we come face-to-face with truth. And though it may feel like loss, it is, in fact, the foundation of freedom. In this episode, we'll explore:• The Courage to Admit: What does it mean to truly own our powerlessness? And how can surrender become our greatest act of strength?• The Mirror of the Mind: We'll dive into the psychological dynamics of unmanageability—how distorted thinking keeps us stuck, and how awareness can ignite healing.• The Spirit's Whisper: Beyond willpower lies a deeper strength. We'll talk about embracing divine help, and how grace meets us when we finally let go.This message isn't about theory. It's lived. It's raw. It's real. And it just might be the permission someone needs to stop surviving and start rising. So wherever you are in your journey, whether you're deep in the trenches or just beginning to wonder if change is possible—this space is for you. You are not alone. And together, we're choosing to admit… and rise.• #AdmitToRise• #PowerInPowerlessness• #StepOneRecovery• #FindingStrengthInSurrender• #CourageToHeal• #UnmanageableNoMore• #TheSpiritsWhisper• #RecoveryJourney• #DivineHelpHeals• #MindfulRecovery

What does a decade of building Brand Advocacy look like in practice?Back in May, Paul sat down with Luke Klein (Senior Director of Marketing Strategy & Growth @ Aerie) to unpack one of fashion's longest-running movements: #AerieREAL.The campaign started in 2014 with a bold commitment: no more retouching. But it was more than a moment; it was a cultural stance. In the 10 years since, Aerie has evolved that stance into a living, breathing ‘brandformance' strategy that continues to drive relevance & results.Luke shares how Aerie stays intuitive to their customer (not just reactive), balances brand consistency with performance-first cultural agility, and designs a creator strategy that feels genuinely co-owned. If you're looking for smart ways to evolve a brand, this episode is yours. You'll learn:Why Brands Need a Mirror, Not a Magnet – Aerie doesn't try to manufacture hype. They reflect real conversations their customers are already having; and that's what earns trust. The Bow Tie vs The Funnel – A customer journey model that actually reflects how people buy and Advocate today. Why Brand Is Performance (& Vice Versa) – Luke shares why separating the two is outdated, and how Aerie uses one strategy to drive both impact and immediacy. How Culture-Driven Content Fuels Strategy – From “Coastal Grandma” to subculture playbooks, Luke breaks down how Aerie turns social listening into scalable strategy. Why Influencers Should Translate, Not Recite – Scripts are dead. Aerie's creator strategy starts with values, then lets partners lead with their own voice. The Underrated Power of Store Associates – When you empower employees to show up authentically, they become some of your best Advocates.Whether you're brand-side, agency-side, or founder-led – if you're serious about scaling with Advocacy, this is one way to do it. Survivors and victims allege that 301 East 66th Street, a New York City condominium building tied to Jeffrey Epstein, was used as a hub in his trafficking network. Various witnesses say that people involved in coordinating, recruiting, or facilitating abuse—like Sarah Kellen, Nadia Marcinkova, Adriana Ross, and others—had access to or worked out of units in that building. They've also claimed that underage girls were housed in multiple apartments there, sometimes several girls to a unit, and that the building served not merely as living quarters but as a location for parts of the abuse to take place.Victims also say the building was part of a broader system of control and deception. It's alleged the ownership structure was opaque, providing a way to obscure who precisely was responsible for what went on inside. Some have claimed they were brought there under false pretenses (job offers or modeling opportunities), groomed, and then coerced into sexual activity. The claims include that Epstein—or people in his orbit—used the building to conceal the scale of the abuse and maintain oversight (staff, security, transport) so that the trafficking could continue with fewer questions.Teresa Helm gave an exclusive interview the Mirror recently and in the interview she talks about the time she stayed at Jeffrey Epstein's building at 301 E. 66th street. This building has long been rumored to be a place where Jeffrey Epstein and Jean Luc Brunel house trafficked girls, but very little has been disclosed about the inner workings.to contact me:In our second article...Thersa Helm is one of the women who was abused by Jeffrey Epstein. The mousedebaters talk Disney Character Karaoke. What happens when Disney characters stumble into karaoke night? In our season 3 premiere, the Mousedebaters grab the mic and start pairing characters with their dream songs—sometimes genius, sometimes unhinged. Picture Mulan belting “Man in the Mirror” with deadly sincerity, Rapunzel whipping her hair in time to Willow Smith, and Forky proudly screaming “Trash” at the top of his pipe-cleaner lungs. We're not stopping at the headliners either—Judge Frollo makes things uncomfortable with “Hot in Herre,” Dopey mumbles through “MMMBop,” and Ursula goes full Adele with “Rolling in the Deep.” It's camp, it's chaos, and it's everything you didn't know you needed from Disney karaoke night. As always, it's PG-13 Disney nonsense for grown-up ears only.
In this solo episode, Daniel gets real about the fear that's been behind the wheel in his life and work—and why that has to change. He talks about revamping both his regression method and the podcast, shares a powerful piece from someone close to him on why wisdom is often only valued in death, and reflects on the assassination of Charlie Kirk as a moment that forces us to ask if we're really listening to the living—even those we don't agree with. Daniel admits his struggles with validation, challenge, and control, while keeping an eye on a new tomorrow. This is an episode about endings, fear, and embracing each new day on the horizon.
Solo Travel Adventures: Safe Travel for Women, Preparing for a Trip, Overcoming Fear, Travel Tips
Ever notice how the ground beneath your feet changes when hiking? From sandy paths to packed dirt trails, paved walkways to rocky terrain—each surface requires a different approach and energy level. What if these changing terrains hold wisdom about the type of travel that would serve you best right now?During a recent solo road trip to West Texas that didn't quite go according to plan, I discovered a powerful metaphor while hiking that perfectly illustrates the relationship between life's seasons and our travel needs. Those sandy stretches where progress feels slow and tiring? They might be signaling you need a trip centered around your passions—music, cooking, hiking—something to restore the joy that daily challenges are slowly depleting. Walking comfortably on packed dirt trails with steady momentum? Your stable life foundation makes you perfectly suited for ambitious multi-city tours or country exploration. Then there are those moments we find ourselves on autopilot, so overwhelmed we're just trying to survive each day. Surprisingly, these "paved pathway" phases call for wellness retreats or spa getaways—controlled environments that provide restoration without requiring you to make decisions. And those rocky paths demanding your constant attention? When life has you carefully navigating multiple challenges, cruises or organized group tours remove the burden of planning while still giving you the escape you desperately need. This isn't about running away from life's difficulties but gaining fresh perspectives that transform how we navigate them upon return. In my one-on-one travel coaching, we assess exactly where you are in life's journey and design travel experiences that meet you right where you stand. Whether you're trudging through sand or picking your way across rocks, there's a perfect travel experience waiting for you.Ready to discover what terrain you're walking and what type of travel would serve you best? Hey everyone! Crime Con wiped us out and kept me from getting an episode out this week. Please enjoy this revisiting of Surprise Justice. New episode next week! Who's ready for a petty surprise? This week on Live, Laugh, Larceny: A True Petty Crime Podcast, the crew is back with more dumb criminal stories, bizarre dilemmas, and a round of Would You Rather that gets hilariously out of control. Trevin kicks things off with a dilemma inspired by too much Succession. After binge-watching the hit HBO series, every casual conversation suddenly feels like a high-stakes corporate power play. Is everyone plotting to betray him, or is this just a side effect of prestige TV obsession? Meanwhile, Amanda faces a dilemma of her own: she receives a sweet and thoughtful text from her husband… only to later discover he sent it because he thought he might actually die at work. Romantic or terrifying? You decide. For Would You Rather, Amanda pulls from Mirror.co.uk's “10 Absolutely Diabolical Would You Rathers That Will Haunt You For Days.” Would you rather get caught watching porn in the office or accidentally send a rude email about your boss… to your boss? Trevin, on the other hand, dives deep into Reddit with a question guaranteed to ruin your mental images of the human body: would you rather have a horizontal buttcrack or a vertical mouth? Get ready for absurd logistics about stairs, redesigned toilets, and how a vertical jaw would even function. Then it's on to storytime, where petty crimes and surprise justice take center stage: The Danger in Our Surroundings – Amanda tells the story of 21-year-old Stephen Daniel of Snellville, Georgia, who was hanging around a QuikTrip gas station looking for a ride. Unfortunately for him, Officer B.W. Brown might be the only one to “offer” any kind of transportation. Haters on the Road to Glory – Trevin covers Jessica Curs, a 4th-grade girls' basketball coach in Burleson, Texas. Her undefeated season was threatened when heckler Gary Melson disrupted her championship game. But when police show up, nobody is a winner. From gas station arrests to police-backed game-day surprises, this episode is full of petty criminals, strange justice, and plenty of laughs. Today's Stories: The Danger in Our Surroundings Haters on the Road to Glory
Tony and his daughter Mackie (@beautybymackie) catch up on a lot of life. Since the last time they hit record, Mackie has navigated big career shifts, health challenges, and new adventures. Tony has faced major surgery and the loss of his mom (Mackie's grandmother). Together, they dive into the messy, uncomfortable, and often hilarious realities of change — why our brains resist it, why it feels so daunting in the moment, and why it's actually the engine of growth.
