There was nothing obviously wrong with the tall mirror in her grandmother's sitting room. It had been in the family for years — older than the furniture, darker than the rest of the décor, quietly leaning against the wall. But if someone stood in front of it long enough, something appeared. Not in the center of the glass. Not clearly visible. Always at the edge of the frame — textured, darker than a shadow, and just out of direct view. When she finally told her grandmother what she had seen, she wasn't dismissed. She was told, simply, that it had always been there.Years later, after her grandmother passed away, there was only one item her mother refused to take from the house. The mirror stayed behind. Some reflections aren't meant to follow you home.#RealGhostStories #HauntedMirror #TheThingInTheGlass #ShadowFigure #ParanormalEncounter #HauntedObject #FamilyGhostStory #CreepyReflection #GenerationalHaunting #Paranormal #HauntedObject #HauntingsLove real ghost stories? SummaryComparison is not the enemy like most people think. In this episode, Chase Smith and Chris Bealhen explain that the real problem is your mindset, not the comparison itself. They break down why everyone compares themselves and how it can either hurt you or help you grow. It all comes down to the story you tell yourself. If you think comparison means you are failing, it will hold you back. But if you use it as information, it can actually push you forward.Chase and Chris talk about the difference between a fixed mindset and a growth mindset, and how that changes everything. They also explain why comparing yourself to people way ahead of you can kill your motivation, and how to find better comparisons that actually help. They cover how social media makes comparison worse, why you should focus more on habits instead of looks, and how to bounce back quickly after messing up.If you've ever felt behind or like you're not doing enough, this episode will help you see comparison in a completely different way and show you how to use it to your advantage.Chapters(00:00) Why Comparison Can Hurt or Help(01:16) Everyone Compares and Why Mindset Matters(03:33) The Story You Attach to Comparison(05:10) Why Comparing Yourself to the Top 10% Backfires(07:46) Outgrowing the Room and Finding Better Environments(10:57) Upward vs Downward Comparison(12:00) Fixed Mindset vs Growth Mindset(17:17) Real Life Examples of Health and Fitness Comparison(18:10) Self-Belief, Motivation, and Why It All Starts There(21:41) Appearance vs Performance Comparison(25:11) What Setbacks Really Mean(27:04) Recalculate and Bounce Back Faster(28:30) How to Use Comparison the Right Way(32:29) Compare the Full Process, Not Just the Result(35:18) Social Media, Highlight Reels, and Cleaning Up Your Feed(38:22) Uprooting Toxic Patterns Before They Grow(41:19) Turning Comparison from a Mirror into a Map(42:37) How to Rewire Negative ThoughtsSUBMIT YOUR QUESTIONS to be answered on the show: https://forms.gle/B6bpTBDYnDcbUkeD7How to Connect with Us:Chase's Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/changing_chase/Chris' Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/conquer_fitness2021/Facebook Group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/665770984678334/Interested in 1:1 Coaching: https://conquerfitnessandnutrition.com/1on1-coachingJoin The Fit Fam Collective: https://conquerfitnessandnutrition.com/fit-fam-collective

Misha Glenny and guests discuss the short life and lasting works of Keats (1795-1821), who in one year wrote some of the most loved poems in English. Among these are Ode to a Nightingale, Ode on a Grecian Urn and Ode on Melancholy. That most productive year began in autumn 1818, when Keats had been stung by some reviews labelling him an uncouth Cockney who should go back to his former work as an apothecary, work he had left for poetry only two years before with the encouragement of enthusiastic friends. Just over two years later, Keats was dead in Rome from tuberculosis, before his work found fame, though some who knew him, including Shelley, believed his true killer was the critics.WithFiona Stafford Professor of English Language and Literature and Tutorial Fellow at Somerville College, University of OxfordNicholas Roe Wardlaw Professor of English Literature at the University of St AndrewsAndMeiko O'Halloran, Senior Lecturer in Romantic Literature at Newcastle UniversityProducer: Simon TillotsonReading list:John Barnard, John Keats (Cambridge University Press, 1987)Katie Garner and Nicholas Roe (eds), John Keats and Romantic Scotland (Oxford University Press, 2022)Ian Jack, Keats and the Mirror of Art (Oxford University Press, 1967) John Keats (ed. Self love is not just a motivational phrase. It is a daily practice that shapes your confidence, your relationships, and the future you create for yourself. In this episode, Luke shares powerful insights from his own journey and introduces three practical steps that anyone can start applying immediately. 1. Mirror Work One of the most powerful exercises for building self love is mirror work. This exercise requires you to look directly into your own eyes in the mirror and speak truth and compassion to yourself. Luke teaches a simple structure for this practice using three powerful statements repeated seven times each. (Your Name) I am proud of you for… (Your Name) I forgive you for… (Your Name) I am committed to… By repeating these statements while looking into your own eyes, you begin to reprogram the subconscious mind and build a deeper relationship with yourself. Luke recommends doing this exercise daily for at least 100 days, and ideally 200 days, to create real transformation. 2. Communication Through Carefrontation Healthy self love also requires healthy communication. Luke explains the concept of carefrontation, a way of expressing your feelings honestly while still leading with compassion. This approach works like a sandwich structure. First, acknowledge something positive about the person.Second, share honestly how their behavior affected you or hurt your feelings.Third, express what you need or how you would like the situation to improve. This method allows you to stand up for yourself while still maintaining respect and connection. 3. Action and Consistency Self love is not only about mindset. It is about action. Real change happens when you show up consistently and apply the practices every day. Mirror work only works when you commit to doing it. Communication only improves when you practice it. Transformation happens when you take action, even on the days when it feels uncomfortable. Self love is not a one time realization. It is a daily discipline. In this episode of The Sacred Speaks, host Dr. John W Price sits down with mythologist and storyteller Dr. John Bucher, Executive Director of the Joseph Campbell Foundation, to explore how story functions as a living force that shapes our lives, culture, and sense of meaning. They trace John's early "graduate degree in storytelling" in a small Texas video store, move through themes like the quest to come home, reconciliation with the father, and the "magical orphan," and show how our favorite films reveal the deep mythic patterns we're unconsciously living. The conversation dives into archetypes, subtext, AI as a new cultural story, the loss of shared myths in a hyper-individualized media landscape, and the possibility of a "collective heroic journey" where groups answer a shared call of desperation rather than a single hero saving the day. John also offers very practical tools for "telling a better story" in our own lives, from changing our information diet to small daily rituals that reorient us toward hope, connection, and agency. Key Takeaways: John Bucher: Telling A Better Story Stories and myths are the "operating system" of the human mind, shaping how we make sense of everything from traffic to transcendence. What truly draws us into stories is not plot but theme, like coming home or reconciling with the father. Our favorite movies quietly reveal our core genres, themes, and unresolved psychological material. We are losing shared cultural stories, which contributes to loneliness and fragmentation. Finding a "better story" starts locally: in our media diet, daily practices, and small collective actions. Most of us know we haven't kept all ten. And that's actually the point. The Ten Commandments were designed to show us who we really are and how desperately we need grace. Think about how you use a mirror in the morning.  The mirror just shows you the truth. The commandments hold up a reflection, not a ladder to climb. And when you look honestly, they don't lead to condemnation. They lead you straight to Jesus, the one who fulfilled what we cannot and offers forgiveness freely to anyone who asks. Pursuing God with Gene Appel is designed to help you pursue God, build community, and unleash compassion. Grounded in Scripture and shaped by Eastside's conviction that God's grace is for everyone, each episode invites you to discover God's presence and activity in your life.

Every classroom uses texts.Novels.Articles.Word problems.Scientific explanations.Historical documents.Even the periodic table. But the real question isn't simply what text we choose. The deeper question is:What experiences are students having through those texts? In this episode, Jocelynn explores the powerful literacy framework developed by scholar Rudine Sims Bishop—mirrors, windows, and sliding glass doors—and explains how this framework applies across all subject areas, not just English Language Arts.Through real classroom observations from both science and literature lessons, she demonstrates how teachers can transform everyday instructional materials into opportunities for identity development, perspective-taking, and deeper engagement. This episode also introduces three practical instructional moves educators can use to guide students beyond surface-level reading and into meaningful learning experiences.Because powerful teaching isn't just about selecting the right text. It's about how we help students encounter it.In This Episode, We Explore• What the mirrors, windows, and sliding glass doors framework is and why it matters in today's classrooms• How instructional decisions influence the way students experience texts• Why window texts require intentional guidance from teachers• How classroom moments that seem small can become powerful learning opportunities• Coaching insights for helping teachers reflect on student responses and plan forwardThe 3 Instructional Moves Discussed in This Episode1. Help Students See Themselves in Learning (Mirrors)Mirrors allow students to recognize their identities, experiences, and humanity in what they are learning. When students encounter mirrors in curriculum, they receive an important message:People like me exist in academic spaces.Mirrors strengthen identity development, belonging, and confidence in the classroom.2. Guide Students Through New Perspectives (Windows)Windows allow students to look into experiences different from their own.But simply exposing students to different perspectives is not enough.Teachers play a critical role in helping students:• slow down• ask deeper questions• consider context• move beyond judgment toward understandingWithout guidance, windows can remain surface-level exposure rather than meaningful learning.3. Invite Students to Step Into the Experience (Sliding Glass Doors)Sliding glass doors invite students to actively engage with the perspectives they encounter.Students move beyond observation and begin:• analyzing• questioning• connecting ideas• imagining the experience from another perspectiveThis is where some of the most powerful learning can happen.Coaching Corner ReflectionEducators and leaders can reflect on these questions:• What signals do students receive about whose experiences belong in learning spaces?• Where do mirrors already exist in my curriculum?• What window texts might require more intentional guidance for students?• How can I design opportunities for students to step through sliding glass doors and engage more deeply with ideas?Implementation IntentionReflection becomes powerful when it leads to action.Consider completing this sentence:This week, I will __________ at __________ for __________ in __________.

They were never seen again. (Young Women Lost) *** A young boy braves a snow storm and walks miles to the nearest town to try and get medicine for his ailing mother and siblings. On the verge of giving up, a warm-hearted stranger walking his dog comes into sight. But who walks a dog in the middle of a winter snow storm? How to Know What High Ticket Sales Prospects Actually Want

Morgan Keim, founder of Ocean Ridge Capital, raised over $400 million in venture capital before he turned 35. One of his companies alone pulled in over $300 million pre-revenue—convincing pension funds and VCs to invest hundreds of millions in a company that hadn't made a single dollar yet. On a recent Sales Gravy podcast, he broke down exactly how he did it. The surprising truth? It had almost nothing to do with the pitch itself. “Your single biggest tools in your toolkit are going to be your eyes and ears,” Morgan said. “It’s about listening and seeing where your prospect is and what they really want. That might be different than the words they use.” Consider this: only 7% of communication comes from actual words. Another 38% comes from tone, and the remaining 55% shows up in body language and nonverbal cues. If you're in high-ticket sales, you're probably spending most of your time perfecting that 7%, while missing the other 93% of what your prospect is really telling you. What You’re Missing in Every Conversation Most salespeople obsess over crafting the perfect email. They rehearse their pitch until it's flawless. They tweak their value proposition endlessly. All of that lives in the 7% of communication that comes from words. Meanwhile, prospects are giving away everything you need to know through their tone, body language, and the questions they ask—or avoid. Morgan learned this quickly when raising capital for a food tech startup. Different investors wanted completely different things, even when they all said they cared about “returns.” One investor cared deeply about sustainability and environmental impact. Another focused purely on velocity of capital and exit timelines. A third had unusual mandates that weren't apparent until Morgan listened carefully in person. “It all comes down to having a real understanding of the emotion that person’s feeling, the desired state of where they want to be,” Morgan explained. “Living in that reality of who they are and what they want.” High-ticket sales often fall apart here. Salespeople treat follow-up like a broadcasting exercise: same message, same pitch, same value proposition to everyone because it's “efficient.” Efficiency without effectiveness is wasted motion. The Language Barrier Costing You Deals There's a language of entrepreneurial speak, a language of corporate speak, and a completely different language people use at home. You might communicate seamlessly with colleagues, but explaining your day to your spouse can feel like speaking a foreign language. The same disconnect happens between you and your prospects. Most sellers speak “sales language,” while their buyers speak business or personal language. Top salespeople code-switch naturally. They pick up on how prospects talk, the patterns they use, and the words that matter to them—and mirror that style back. In high-ticket sales, you're asking someone to make a significant investment. They need to feel understood before they'll trust you with that decision. Take an HR leader versus a marketing leader in the same organization: HR cares about employee retention, engagement, and compliance. Marketing focuses on campaign ROI, conversions, and brand lift. The same pitch to both? One will check out halfway through the first sentence. Understanding Their Desired State Make the prospect the hero of the story. Put your ego aside. Stop thinking about your quota. Focus entirely on their desired outcome. Morgan never leads with what Ocean Ridge Capital offers. He starts by understanding their situation: Are they trying to create passive cash flow? Looking for tax efficiency after selling a business? Building generational wealth for grandchildren? Each scenario requires completely different emotional framing. A person focused on legacy thinks about family and long-term impact, while a recent entrepreneur selling for eight figures cares about protecting capital and deploying it efficiently. Same product, completely different language. Send the same follow-up email to both, and you're solving the wrong problem for one of them. How This Changes Your Follow-Up Strategy Once you realize that 93% of your communication lives outside words, your follow-up strategy has to change. Morgan uses multiple channels: Video messages let him read facial expressions and body language. Phone calls provide tone, pacing, and emphasis that email strips away. Handwritten notes show he's willing to slow down in a world that automates everything. Educational content positions him as a resource, not just a seller. He runs A/B/C testing across messaging angles because he can't assume he knows what a prospect wants. When someone doesn't respond to initial outreach, he shifts to “passive value creation”—delivering insight, education, and context—while still prospecting actively through multiple channels. Every touchpoint adds value. Every channel gives a new way to read the prospect, learn their language, and adjust. What to Do on Your Very Next Call Here's your homework. Not next week. Not when you have time. On your very next sales call: Spend five minutes reading the room before you pitch anything. Notice: When their energy shifts. Words they repeat. Moments they lean in or check out. Mirror it back. If they say, “We're building something sustainable,” don't respond with, “Our solution drives ROI.” Stay in their language. Stay in their world. Try a different channel. Been emailing for weeks with no response? Pick up the phone. Send a 60-second video. Mail a personalized note. The mechanics haven't changed. You still need multiple touches. But if you ignore tone, body language, and emotional state, you're having a completely different conversation than your prospect is. Why This Approach Wins High-ticket sales are about human connection more than polished words. Prospects respond to feeling understood, recognized, and respected. The words you say matter far less than how you convey empathy, awareness, and relevance. Morgan's results speak for themselves: reading the unspoken signals and adapting builds trust, shortens sales cycles, and secures investments that others can't reach. High-ticket sales aren't only about what you say—they're about what you see. Pay attention, and everything changes. – Take your follow-up strategy to the next level. In this episode, we explore the haunting and deeply personal world of The Mirror, one of the most poetic and unconventional films ever made. Directed by visionary filmmaker Andrei Tarkovsky, the film blends memory, dreams, newsreel footage, and fragmented narrative to form a cinematic meditation on childhood, war, family, and the passage of time.Rather than following a traditional plot, The Mirror unfolds like a stream of consciousness. Through shifting timelines and recurring imagery, Tarkovsky reconstructs the inner life of a man reflecting on his past—his mother, his upbringing in rural Russia, the trauma of war, and the lingering emotional echoes of memory. The film becomes less a story and more an experience, inviting viewers to piece together meaning through atmosphere, symbolism, and personal reflection. We'll discuss how Tarkovsky's signature visual language—long takes, natural elements like wind, fire, and water, and carefully composed frames—creates a dreamlike space where memory and reality merge. We'll also explore the autobiographical aspects of the film, including the use of poetry by Tarkovsky's father, Arseny Tarkovsky, and how the director transforms personal memory into universal cinema.Join us as we unpack why The Mirror continues to challenge audiences and inspire filmmakers, and how its emotional logic reveals deeper truths about identity, nostalgia, and the fragile nature of memory.______________________________________________________Feel free to email at silverscreenvideopodcast@gmail.com with any comments or thoughts. Artificial intelligence is quickly becoming part of how people think, reflect, and process their lives. But what role should it actually play in mental health? In this episode, Kristin Sunanta sits down with therapist and technology expert Jeremy G. Schneider to explore the evolving relationship between AI and therapy. Jeremy is a licensed marriage and family therapist, trauma-informed mental health coach, and former chief technology officer who now works at the intersection of emotional wellness and human-centered technology. Together, they explore how tools like ChatGPT can function as a kind of “thinking mirror” — reflecting our thoughts back to us and helping us notice patterns in the way we process emotions, relationships, and decisions. Rather than replacing therapists, AI may become a powerful companion tool for reflection, journaling, and practicing psychological skills like self-awareness and boundaries. Kristin and Jeremy discuss the opportunities, the risks, and why learning to use AI with intention and agency may become an important part of mental health in the years ahead. In this episode they explore:• how AI can support emotional reflection and interactive journaling• why some therapists are wary of AI — and why that may change• the concept of AI as a “thinking mirror” for understanding our own minds• how people can use AI safely while maintaining self-awareness and agency• how emerging tools may reshape therapy and personal growthJeremy also hosts free educational classes on Meetup where he teaches people how to thoughtfully and safely use AI tools like ChatGPT for reflection, emotional insight, and personal growth. Do you spend way too much time checking yourself in the mirror? Fixating on flaws that nobody else seems to notice? Canceling plans because you feel like you look "off" that day? You're not alone, and this isn't about vanity—this is about a real struggle that deserves understanding. Today we're diving into Body Dysmorphic Disorder (BDD) and how it shows up in eating disorder recovery. The statistics are eye-opening: while only 1 in 50 people in the general population experience BDD, 25-40% of people with eating disorders also struggle with body dysmorphic disorder. In this episode, you'll discover: What Body Dysmorphic Disorder actually is (beyond occasional insecurity) The shocking connection between eating disorders and BDD Real client story: How BDD stole years of living from a successful VP 6 practical tools to break free from obsessive body thoughts Why "your body is an instrument, not an ornament" How to practice body neutrality when body positivity feels impossible The difference between healthy awareness and destructive obsession This goes beyond the mirror—it's about reclaiming the mental energy that's been stolen from you and learning to live present in your own life. THE EYE-OPENING STATISTICS 1 in 50 people in general population experience Body Dysmorphic Disorder 25-40% of people with eating disorders also struggle with BDD This means: If you're struggling with disordered eating, there's a much higher chance you're also dealing with body dysmorphic disorder. WHAT IS BODY DYSMORPHIC DISORDER? BDD is classified in the DSM-5 under Obsessive Compulsive and Related Disorders. It's when thoughts about your appearance become all-consuming—when they start stealing your joy and limiting your life. This isn't about vanity. This is about genuine struggle that deserves compassion and understanding. Common signs include: Spending hours checking your appearance in mirrors Constantly comparing yourself to others (especially on social media) Avoiding social settings because you're convinced everyone is staring Taking dozens of photos from different angles to "capture what you really look like" Canceling plans when you feel you look "off" Fixating on specific body parts (face, stomach, skin, weight) CLIENT STORY: ELLA'S BREAKTHROUGH Ella was a VP at her company—successful, married, two kids. From the outside, everything looked perfect. But inside, she was crumbling. Ella spent hours fixating on what she perceived as facial asymmetry and "hating her stomach." She would: Cancel plans if her appearance didn't feel right Take dozens of selfies from different angles Hibernate in loose clothing when her stomach wasn't "flat enough" Miss out on living because she was trapped in the obsession The truth: When I looked at Ella, I saw an amazingly beautiful and confident woman. The things she fixated on weren't visible to me or anyone else in her life. Six months later, Ella shared: "For the first time in years, I went to my daughter's birthday party and I didn't think about my appearance. I was just there. I was present. I laughed, and I played and I connected. This is what living feels like." 6 TOOLS TO BREAK FREE FROM BODY OBSESSION 1. Practice Awareness Notice when you're engaging in checking behaviors Observe with compassion: "I notice I'm having thoughts right now" Technique: Set a timer when getting ready—when it goes off, walk away from the mirror no matter what 2. Challenge the Distortion Question absolute thoughts: "Everyone notices this about me" or "I look disgusting" Exercise: Write how you'd respond if your best friend shared the same concerns Remember: "Our minds distort our mirrors" 3. Reduce Comparison (Eliminate If Possible) Studies show increased social media correlates with worse BDD symptoms Action: Go on a social media detox or unfollow triggering accounts Replace scrolling time with something that feeds your soul 4. Redirect Your Focus Create a list of activities that fully engage your mind Have this list ready BEFORE the thoughts hit Examples: Reading, puzzles, nature walks, calling a friend 5. Practice Body Neutrality Focus on what your body can DO rather than how it looks "Can your legs carry you through the day? Can your arms hug people you love?" Remember: Your body is an instrument, not an ornament 6. Seek Help and Support BDD responds well to treatments like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) Working with specialists in body image issues makes an enormous difference You don't have to heal from this alone THE TRUTH ABOUT YOUR BODY Your body was never meant to be your life's work. It was meant to champion you in doing your life's purpose and your life's work. You only have one precious life. You deserve to: Be present and laugh without wondering how your face looks Eat cake without worrying about your stomach afterward Connect deeply without background noise of how others view you Live without the mental prison of appearance obsession KEY QUOTES

What if the reason things aren't working in your life isn't your circumstances — it's what you're putting into the mirror? In this episode, we break down The Mirror Theory — the viral concept that what you project is what you get back. But this isn't just about smiling at strangers. We're going deep inside: your mindset, your energy, your self-talk, and the silent story you're telling yourself every single day. Here's what most people miss: there are actually two mirrors. The external one — how others reflect your energy back. And the internal one — how you start to see yourself based on what you're projecting. The internal mirror is the one that can quietly snowball into self-doubt, shrinking, and missed opportunities — without anyone else doing a thing. The good news? The positive snowball works just as fast. You get out what you put in. This episode shows you how to start putting in the right things. •     What The Mirror Theory is and why it went viral•     The difference between the external mirror and the internal mirror•     How negative self-projection snowballs — and how to stop it•     The 4 things worth projecting: confidence, calm, optimism, and authenticity•     A simple 5-second check-in to use before any room, meeting, or hard conversation•     Why “acting as if” isn't fake — it's how the internal mirror gets reprogrammed “Most people are trying to change their circumstances. The Mirror Theory says: change what you're projecting first — and watch your circumstances start to shift.”SUBSCRIBE: Never miss another episode!RATE: Give the show a 5 Star Rating!SHARE: Who else needs this message?TAG: Share to your stories on instagram and tag @realtannerclark

The Sermon on the Mount challenges us to examine the mirror of our own hearts before we cast judgment on others. In Matthew 7:1-6, we encounter one of Scripture's most direct commands: do not judge, or you too will be judged. This isn't a call to abandon discernment or ignore right and wrong—rather, it's an invitation to radical self-reflection. Jesus uses vivid imagery of specks and planks to illustrate our tendency to casually observe faults in others while failing to perceive the logs in our own eyes. The Greek words used here reveal the distinction: we make quick judgments about others but lack deep perception about ourselves. This teaching invites us into a greater righteousness that transforms how we relate to our brothers and sisters in Christ. When we recognize our own brokenness, our own need for mercy, we become safe people who can truly help others. The measure we use will be measured back to us—a principle of reciprocity that should cause us to pause before we condemn. We're called to a community where self-evaluation comes before correction, where humility precedes instruction, and where we extend the same grace we desperately need. This is the narrow path that leads to life, the way of the kingdom where mercy triumphs over judgment.

Don't Walk Away From the Mirror - James 1:23-24    There's a certain kind of honesty that only shows up when you're standing in front of a mirror. Not the mirror you check before you leave the house. I'm talking about the mirror that tells the truth. The mirror that doesn't care about your title, your age, your résumé, or your excuses. The mirror that shows you you.   James says that hearing God's Word without doing anything about it is like looking in that mirror, seeing something wrong, and then walking away like you didn't see a thing.   And family… we've all done it.

The hardest part of parenting isn’t managing our kids. It’s facing ourselves. This week, a heated family moment revealed something uncomfortable — our children often mirror the very behaviours we struggle with. Defensiveness. Blame. Excuses. Denial. And when we see it in them… it’s confronting. In this honest Friday “I’ll Do Better Tomorrow” episode, we unpack emotional reactivity, accountability, and the power of repairing quickly. Plus, a Brisbane GP’s email sparks an important conversation about ADHD diagnoses, medication culture, and why more labels aren’t fixing our kids. Start Your Transformation Now  In this episode of The Jim Fortin Podcast, Jim Fortin reveals that the external world is not the cause of our experience — it is the reflection of it. Every bank balance, health diagnosis, and relationship outcome mirrors the identity we carry within. We don't need to fight our circumstances; we need to change what we're projecting.   Jim explains why so many people stay stuck — not because life is against them, but because they keep trying to change the reflection without changing the face looking into the mirror. The shift he's calling listeners toward is moving from a 3D human identity defined by limitation to a spiritual identity rooted in divine mind, universal consciousness — what Jim simply calls God.   Stop punching the mirror. This episode offers the awareness and tools to finally change what's being reflected back. Listen and let it shift something. What You'll Discover in This Episode:  (00:00) The world is your mirror, not your enemy — Jim opens by reframing the foundational premise: our environment is not the cause of our problems but a reflection of our inner identity and consciousness.  (05:51) You can't change the mirror with the same identity — Why fighting your external circumstances only reaffirms the very identity that created them, and why the senses report reality rather than create it.  (11:09) Spiritual identity vs. 3D identity — Jim invites listeners to move beyond religious dogma and human limitation by asking: what if you identified as the ultimate power in the universe — as divine mind, as God?  (16:28) You are never at the mercy of your circumstances — A powerful distinction: we are never at the mercy of our circumstances, only at the mercy of our identity — and identity is something we can change.  (22:47) Think from the end, not to the end — Jim introduces the transformational question: "If this were already resolved, how would I feel right now?" — shifting consciousness from the problem to the resolution.  (29:37) Who are you willing to be before the evidence shows up? — The ultimate takeaway: begin conditioning yourself to identify as one with divine mind, working from that identity before the physical reality confirms it.  Listen, apply, and enjoy!  Transformational Takeaway  Your circumstances are not your truth — they are your mirror, created by a past version of you. Stop reacting to the reflection. Ask: if this were already resolved, how would I feel? Hold that feeling, think from the end, and begin identifying as divine mind — as the ultimate power in the universe. Change what you project, and the mirror has no choice but to change what it reflects back.  Let's Connect:  Instagram | Facebook | YouTube | LinkedIn  LIKED THE EPISODE?  If you're the kind of person who likes to help others, then share this with your friends and family.
