On most dairies, the big question is “How do I put more milk in the tank?” One potential answer lies in improving persistency, or helping cows maintain milk production.

Persistency and consistency can be a struggle for many, I know it has been for me. In this episode, share from Luke 18:1-8 I use the story of the widow and how we need to keep showing for our goals and desires. Many Blessings

Ep #297: We're diving deep into what it takes to change your life and stay sober. First and foremost, you have to want to change. No one can make you do it but yourself. Most of the hard work happens when nobody's around to cheer you on. It's in those quiet moments that real progress is made. Remember, you're moving forward even when it feels like you're going backward. Just because others seem to be zooming ahead doesn't mean you're not progressing. Imagine sitting in a car at a standstill while the car next to you moves forward—it feels like you're going backward, but you're not. Just being in the game is a reward in itself—and once you think you've won, the game has really just begun. Like Olympians who achieve what they thought was the pinnacle, there's always a new bar to raise. Accept yourself, but change your behavior. You are worthy of the air you breathe, just like everyone else. Remember, your space begins at the end of your nose and ends as far as you can reach. No one else is responsible for your change. Your trauma is not your fault, but your healing is. Take responsibility for your actions, and don't be a drain on those around you—understand the difference between taking advantage and earning support. Persistency and consistency separate those who achieve their dreams from those who regret not attaining them. I didn't set out to get to 297 when this all started. I didn't see much, if any, of my life back then being what it is today - but along the way, I set challenges for myself and then left it all on the proverbial field or in the metaphorical water, and I do not intend to let up any time soon! Here is to moving ALL THE WAY UP, even when the storm clouds rumble while the sun shines. Just hit play, and let's dive in with open minds and hearts—you are in the right place, at the right time—right now. ******************************************** PLEASE SUBSCRIBE, FOLLOW, RATE, AND REVIEW my show on your preferred streaming app. Every little bit helps this show reach those who need it most. ******************************************** Please support the show (I'm a one-man band over here) Free ebooks and links for coaching and the like: https://stan.store/jessemogle Buy me a coffee to keep me going: http://buymeacoffee.com/jessemogle Support me on Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/jessemogle ******************************************** Website: https://www.jessemogle.com Please email me: fromsobrietytorecovery@gmail.com ******************************************** Complimentary 30-minute call with me: callcoachjesse.com Tik Tok: http://www.tiktok.com/@jessemogle Instagram: https://instagram.com/fromsobrietytorecovery LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/jessemogle/ From Sobriety to Recovery Podcast: https://www.jessemogle.comfromsobrietytorecovery/ College Success Habits Podcast: https://www.jessemogle.com/collegesuccesshabitspodcast/ ******************************************** Join the From Sobriety to Recovery Tribe: https://www.jessemogle.com/thehub/ ******************************************** It is time. Whether you're a marketer, event organizer, community leader, business executive, or content creator, the path to achieving your desired success comes down to cultivating ideal experiences. Without that, nothing can be built, established, or mobilized within the minds of people. What makes someone pay to come to an event? What makes someone watch or read content? What makes someone buy something, anything? An experience that drove curiosity! An experience that created a need or want. And an anticipated experience of the outcome after. But how do we harness that? Where do we start? Persistency is key—just keep moving forward, one step at a time, day after day. Often, the difference between those you complete their goals and others is simply the ability to rise each day and persist. BLOCK OUT distractions and stay focused. Progress might seem slow; most days can be frustrating, and it often feels like nothing is changing. However, it's the cumulative effort, consistently applied, that eventually transforms your endeavors.

Persistency and Continuity Lead to Success Trying something new, or being thrust into a new situation, can be tricky, difficult, frustrating, and downright terrifying. As an amputee, I can truly understand and appreciate that. However, with the right mindset, the setting of goals, and the willingness to be persistent, even when experiencing failure, we can master what we want to achieve. Overcoming setbacks through persistence and continuity is a powerful journey of resilience and determination. When faced with challenges, those who are persistent continue to pursue their goals despite obstacles. You will possess the tenacity to endure failures and setbacks, learning from each experience and using it as a stepping stone rather than a stumbling block. Setbacks, in an amputee's journey, are common as we relearn to walk, build muscle and stability, all while our limb changes and fitting of prosthetics is a challenge. Hiking 2 miles of Awa'awapuhi Trail near Waimea Canyons With the mindset of succeeding despite the hurdles, being persistent in reaching your goals is vitally important, as is being consistent. Continuity involves maintaining a steadfast commitment to your objectives, even in the face of adversity, and there will be adversity. Somedays, as an amputee, it will feel like it is always about adversity and the roadblocks trying to take you down will feel like stone walls. However, through continuity, you will develop a sense of discipline, enabling you to stay focused on your aspirations and making gradual progress. Kayaking Hanalei for 3 hours Combining persistence and continuity empowers you to navigate through setbacks with unwavering determination. you learn to adapt, improvise, and keep moving forward, ultimately transforming setbacks into opportunities for growth. This approach not only builds character but also fosters a resilient mindset, enabling you to achieve your goals despite the challenges you will face along the way. When you see an amputee who is running a race, surfing the waves, hiking huge miles and high elevation, or happily moving about their day remember, they started with baby steps. They fell down a time or two. They spent hours, days, weeks, and even years practicing what they have achieved. Everyone starts a new task as a beginner, learning from mistakes, and failures. It is those who continue to pick themselves up time and time again, and press forward with conviction who eventually find their way to success. Success takes time, commitment, practice, and determination, despite setbacks. You can find success, too, just don't give up when things get hard. You'll be so proud of yourself in the end. Fun snorkeling days on Kauai Today figure out what you want to achieve. It's ok to dream big, but pick the first thing you really want to accomplish, with where you are right now. Write that goal down! Next, write down a deadline to achieve that goal. Finally, list steps you will need two take each day to reach that goal by your deadline. Now go out and work for what you want! Remember, falls and failures happen, and can be great stepping stones for success. And also know that it's not uncommon to be heading the right direction and then hit a setback. You know the old saying, "two steps forward, one step back", right? Just prepare yourself for that so you don't get discouraged. Stay the course! Don't give up. You deserve to be happy, and living your best life. Until next week, and as always, Be Healthy, Be Happy, Be You!!

From the moment of birth, Michael Kutcher has overcome challenges and conquered obstacles that most people never even catch a glimpse of. Born as an unexpected twin of Ashton Kutcher, Michael met his first of many challenges at delivery. Entering the world notably smaller than his twin at less than five pounds, Michael was hardly responsive and struggled to take his first breath. By age three, Michael was battling significant developmental delays, caused by irreversible neurological pathologies. He was diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy before he entered Kindergarten. Michael was diagnosed with heart failure at age 13 and was once again faced with an unthinkable challenge of survival. After being given a life expectancy of just three to four weeks, Michael again defeated the odds and successfully received a lifesaving heart transplant. It was this second close brush with death that opened Michael's eyes to the fragility of life and inspired him to take control of the future he once thought he wouldn't have. Michael's message is one of inspiration, hope and appreciation. Having overcome unthinkable challenges against extraordinary odds, Michael is living proof that perseverance and unwavering positivity can surmount even the most seemingly impossible of obstacles His website https://www.michaelkutcher.com https://www.facebook.com/mkutch/

This episode is such an inspiration to young students who are in high school, college students, and business owners. Nickie is one driven individual who not only graduated with high honors in college but graduated early in high school as well. She didn't know what she wanted to do but she use a strategy that created wealth for her at such a young age. Anyone who is not sure of what they want to do and what they want to take in terms of courses, listen up to this episode. Nickie talks about her successes and failures along with lessons learned from all of her three businesses. She provided three added-value skills that got her through her successes; Persistency, consistency, and doing the boring stuff. What really is amazing is that after this conversation, I created a vision boarding workshop for free. Check it out at luabydocleyland.com under workshop. Listen up for her great advice.
Mastery is a process, not an event. It's so easy to be hypnotized by society into thinking that the superstars among us woke up one day rejoicing in their newfound heightened state of greatness.Pure myth.Study Da Vinci and Buffet, Beethoven and Serena Williams, Kobe and Nikola Tesla and you'll see that their unusually excellent performance was caused by their uncommon devotion to a journey....Their genius was not natural but constructed....Their luminosity wasn't inborn. It was made....By self-belief in the face of everyone telling them “that will never work”, relentless learning and practice, persistency through failure, consistency of innovation and a willful blindness to what the majority claims is impossible. The most happy, successful and peaceful people on the planet generally all have some sort of a mentor. If you'd like me to become YOUR mentor so I help you make 2023 the best year of your life yet, I'd be happy to be of service to your greatness. Truly. I've handcrafted an absolutely world-class one year mentoring program that will help you get fitter, happier, stronger and ultra successful this New Year. It's called Your Magnificent Year Mentor and there's nothing quite like it available anywhere. It's all about real results for real people who have real dreams to make 2023 amazing.Memberships are extremely limited so get yours here before doors close and you have to wait another year to get in.FOLLOW ROBIN SHARMA:InstagramFacebookTwitterYouTube

Life happens, and people are facing adversity all day every day. It just so happens that the host of Breakaway Wealth faced adversity recently in an event that everybody knows about. A little over a week ago, Hurricane Ian made landfall just a couple of miles from Jim's house and nobody heard from him for 48 hours or so. They were fighting through over 150mph winds and storm surges, and Jim was left with no power or water. Experiencing the hurricane first-hand, there are a few things he would have done differently had he known what he does now, and he's sharing his experience and takeaways from this event this week. In the face of adversity, there aren't any easy decisions or solutions. The first plausible step is to simply take action. It is OK to grieve. It is OK to be sad about what you have experienced. But regardless of the experience, what really matters is your attitude. It is always liberating to take ownership of your situation, and whatever that adversity is, it is possible to not let it win, to not let it beat you. Persistency is key, and you need to be bigger, step up – not down – and come out of the adversity on the other side. And that's what Jim and Nick are diving deeper into in this episode. In this episode, Jim and Nick talk about adversity, crisis, and what to do when you are faced with either of these in your own life. In Jim's case, a hurricane hit and damaged people's homes, and people lost their lives. He shares how he handled it, his advice for what to do in a crisis, and some lessons on the different stages of a crisis and how to put them to work in your own life. Find out the importance of vision and the role it plays in handling adversity, and some strategies for handling adversity from Fortune 500 executive Deborah Smith Pegues. All thoughts and prayers here at Breakaway Wealth go out to everyone who has been affected by Hurricane Ian. - Connect with Jim Oliver: Facebook: CreateTailwind & Jim Oliver Website: https://createtailwind.com/ YouTube: CreateTailwind LinkedIn: Jim Oliver Join the Community: https://community.createtailwind.com/ RSVP for the next community Q&A HERE: https://community.createtailwind.com/events Resources Mentioned: Deborah Smith Pegues: Home - Deborah Smith Pegues (confrontingissues.com) Extreme Ownership: How U.S. Navy Seals Lead and Win by Jocko Willink: https://www.amazon.com/Extreme-Ownership-Jocko-Willink/dp/1250183863

"Ryan": Ryan Pannone is currently the Head Coach of the GLeague team Birmingham Squadron and already has almost 20 years of coaching experience when he started as a young coach in High School. Shortly after he started to work as an Assistant for David Thorpe as a Player Development coach and quickly realized his passion. Throughout his career he had plenty of responsibilities as a young and aspiring Assistant Coach in Foshan, China which lead him to becoming an Assistant in Hanau, Germany later. He also was a player development coach and coaching staff member at Hapoel Jerusalem as well as a Head Coach in Prievidza, Slovakia. In today's episode Ryan and me talked about many different parts of his career but mostly about the art of how to build a career by being persistent and focusing on opportunities instead of paychecks. Ryan walked me through the different situations he faced in his career and how he never put money over gaining new knowledge! Ryan went through plenty of different coaching stations that prepared him for his jobs going forward and made him a better coach and person in the long-run. We also touched on the importance of having great mentorship, which in his case it was definitely the case with David Thorpe who guided him early on and gave him ownership as well as credibility as a reliable player development coach. This conversation is eye-opening in many regards but mostly for young and aspiring coaches who are looking for guidance in their pursuit of a career. Enjoy!
