In today's episode of the Tranquil Awakenings Podcast, Debbie will be in conversation with Vandana who supports individuals with their health and well-being through the use of the Human Regenerator, a machine that uses cold atmospheric plasma technology. During this episode, Vandana shares her personal family journey of how her and her husband became aware of the Human Regenerator when supporting her mother-in-law with her cancer diagnosis. Upon using this machine, Vandana's mother-in-law benefitted greatly, which inspired them to invest in a machine of their own, bringing it to Lincolnshire to support others with pain and health issues, as well as for those who want their body to be the best it can be. KEY TAKEAWAYSThe cells in our body become less effective over time. Antioxidants help the body to reduce inflammation. When suffering from physical ailments, it can also impact mental well-being.The body needs good nutrition, exercise, and a healthy mindset to help it perform at its best. The Human Regenerator helps to reduce oxidative stress. BEST MOMENTS“The summer before last, my mother-in-law, she was diagnosed with palliative cancer and she was already sort of previously recovering from an operation and radio and chemotherapy. So, the state that she was in was quite fragile. She's really low on energy, she was getting really tired, and we just were kind of in a place where we thought we need something to sort of support her, just to give her a bit of a boost.”“But then after her second session, the next day, we asked her, mum, you know, how are you, how are you feeling? And she said she felt good. She got off the Human Regenerator and she had a bit of a light on her face, and she felt good. And we did over 20, 000 steps around central London, which was something that she hadn't done in a very long time before.”“That's when we decided, you know, we'll get one here up in Lincoln and try and help more people and also support mum as much as we can, just to give her the quality of life that she could have with her limitations. And yeah, that's kind of how our journey started.”“They're just happier in themselves and they don't have that kind of the pain or the struggle in the back of their mind and they're able to do more than they think they could have done.” ”And then having the human regenerator on top of that. It's just been a game changer. I feel good. I don't feel tired after a really long day of work, and I don't feel low on my energy or touch would not been poorly for quite some time. So, I think it works as a really good compliment to a great lifestyle.” HOST BIODebbie is a seasoned therapist whose journey from being a primary school teacher to an adept therapist has been fuelled by her fascination with the intricacies of human nature. Equipped with advanced certifications in diverse modalities like hypnotherapy, neuro-linguistic programming, mindfulness, meditation, past life regression and many more she has honed her expertise to bring about transformative change. As a full-time therapist and trainer, Debbie's driving passion is guiding others, as well as herself, towards their best selves. Embracing the concept of holistic beings, she firmly believes in addressing the mental, emotional, physical, social, energetic, and spiritual facets of well-being and healing. Hosted on Acast. Ep66 — Gipsy Hill's Sam McMeekin on Brewing Sustainably

The Pellicle Podcast

Will brewing ever truly manage to become ‘sustainable'? Acknowledged by the UK government as a highly energy intensive sector of the economy, the industrial act of making beer has a far larger drain on our natural resources than those simply caused by heating liquid up and cooling it down again.Brewing uses a massive amount of water for a start, whether that's for cleaning, packaging, or making the beer itself. More pertinently, there's the fact that brewing is almost wholly reliant on industrial agriculture perennially lurking in its sizable shadow. The production of grain and hops for brewing has, arguably, the biggest impact on the industry's carbon footprint, which is why breweries like Gipsy Hill in South London are looking for ways to mitigate this. The brewery's founder, Sam McMeekin, has appeared on this podcast before speaking about what's know as ‘regenerative agriculture' – a system of sustainable cultivation that endeavours to increase the amount of carbon locked away by soils and their surrounding ecosystems. At FyneFest in 2022 the brewery was pouring a beer called Regenerator, which in addition to using regeneratively farmed barley malt, also utilised second use hops, reclaimed using a centrifugal filter Gipsy Hill has invested a considerable amount of money in.In August 2024 I paid a visit to the brewery to learn more about its investment into sustainable beer production. Regenerator has now spawned two new core beers. Called Trail (a pale ale) and Swell (a lager) both breweries use completely regeneratively farmed barley, contracted directly by Gipsy Hill and then malted for them at Warminster Maltings. A lot happened at Gipsy Hill after this conversation was recorded, including its acquisition by Sunrise Alliance Beverages – a step it took to avoid putting the company into administration. Which begs the question – can breweries actually afford to invest in sustainability at a meaningful level? Tune in to hear about the efforts Sam and Gipsy Hill continue to make in reducing this brewery's carbon footprint. We're able to produce The Pellicle Podcast directly thanks to our Patreon subscribers, and our sponsors Loughran Brewers Select. Turning Season: News & Conversations on Our Adventure Toward a Life-Sustaining Society

How about these goals: Avoid human extinction Cultivate healthy economies of living systems at local landscape, continental and planetary scales Emerge into these systems on the other side of whatever crises and collapse(s) are aheadWhat would that take?Joe Brewer has dedicated his life to this question, and to a "living laboratory" of bioregional regeneration and community collaboration. He is the founder of Earth Regenerators and co-founder of the newly established Design School for Regenerating Earth.I have learned so much from Joe. He's been a source of information, inspiration, techniques and strategies, and also the reason I've found many other people I'm now so grateful to be connected with (including Charles Upton, whom you heard from in Episode 21). Joe gave me a big grin and two thumbs up when I said that I frame these conversations in the language of Joanna Macy, so we have that in common. His roots of study spread wide in many other directions, though: He's a complexity researcher and transdisciplinary scholar who has studied cultural evolution, physics, atmospheric sciences, and cognitive linguistics, among other things. Joe is also a father, and someone who is trying to embody the pathway to Earth Regeneration. I know through community photos and stories that he's out there digging swales and planting trees, and participating actively in all the realities of community cooperation.I've been looking forward to having a conversation with Joe Brewer for a long time, and I'm excited to share it with you now.Click Play now to dive into:working for regeneration on the scale of larger landscapes, even if we live in cities (how did water move through this bioregion before these cities existed?) in thinking about sustainability, how much depends on the regenerative capacity of the land having children, being with children, and being there for children, in these times (I loved this: "children are such a profound source of human emotional regeneration") the tapestry of local projects being woven together in the High Andes Tropical Dry Forest ecosystem of Barichara, Colombia - a living laboratory for a bioregional-scale regenerative economy  the human species being in ecological overshoot, what that probably means about the future, and what Joe is "actively hopeful" for, in light of that how to have effective, cooperative groups - both the knowledge about how to do that, and the actual practice of doing it and Joe's words of advice on following your heart, and being ready for people to be confusedI continue to learn so much from Joe and the Earth Regenerators community. Maybe for some of you listening this will also be a doorway into what's next for you, in your journey toward embodying life-sustaining, life-honoring, regenerative ways to live in the web of Life.Come to the show notes for links to connect with Joe Brewer, check out the Design School for Regenerating Earth, and learn about other topics we touched on: turningseason.com/episode33

Greean Areas. A poem by Gabi Eftimie (English, Romanian) Author: Ana Teodora Popa green areas (Gabi Eftimie) Pretending to be a tourist in my own town, I take the bus to the last stop. It doesn`t take long and all filters disappear when you`re on autopilot. Soon, I arrive to my destination. My electrified hair is spread in the same direction as I’m headed to. I pick up crumbs left behind of my fellow passengers and I try to guess: bread, biscuits, falafel? Ahead:” the park, the green lung of the city.” In the deepest depth, fishes hobble, enduring like uranium. The crows` croaking doesn’t pierce through anymore. The black-throated loon spreads out its cry like a fishnet through the lake´s surface. I surrender to these inputs. Like in some guided meditation. The park, now on mute, is lost in space. Pigeons coo their mantras. Happiness to all humankind! Let us be spared by weakness! May all care for their fellows´ well-being! Don´t let anyone experience gloom and sorrow! Suddenly, a green, lit water-bus pops up in the surrounding twilight. Translated from Romanian to English by the poet. The piece is composed by Ana Teodora Popa with a poem by Gabi Eftimie in the frame of POLYPHONIC ECHOES, a project organized by Jumătatea plină for SEMI SILENT. Sunday Morning Podcast | The Moody Church

What does it mean to be born again? Let’s set aside all the cultural clutter of what we think it means and try to hear Jesus afresh. Because as we’ll see, to be born again into this new birth, to be regenerated by God, is at the very heart of why Jesus came.   In this passage, we see an existential conversation between Nicodemus and Jesus about the pathway to eternal life. As we explore this concept of New Birth, we’re going to answer six questions:   Who needs it? From the most religious and moral to the very least, we all must be born again. If Nicodemus needs to be born again, we all do. What is it? To be born again is to have a brand-new recreated spiritual life. Jesus is telling Nicodemus that to see the Kingdom, to enter into it, you need this new life. Your resumé won’t get you in. You need to be born again. Who does it? New birth is the work of the Spirit alone and it is totally beyond our control. Jesus is telling Nicodemus that the one thing you need is the one thing you have no control over. After all, babies don’t give birth to themselves. Someone else does it. Through the pain, agony, and suffering of another a new life is born. We cannot save ourselves; someone else must do it for us. How does it come? We are born again as we look in faith to Christ alone. You don’t have to run, crawl, or reach out. All you have to do is look to Jesus in faith and you will be saved. Why do we need it? New birth in Jesus is the only antidote for the venom coursing through our veins. Jesus is saying that everyone has been bitten by the deadly sting of sin, including Nicodemus. All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and the wages of that sin is death. You see, we usually divide the world into good and bad people. Good people get salvation; bad people get condemnation. Jesus turns this concept upside down by saying that everyone needs to be born again regardless of their works. What is in the way, and why doesn’t everyone just look to Jesus for salvation? To be born again, the only thing we need is nothing, but it’s the one thing most of us don’t have. Jesus is calling Nicodemus to lay his resumé down, because there's nothing he -- or we! -- can do to save ourselves. We have to look for salvation by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone.   Takeaway: Look to Christ and Christ alone! Your religious resumé cannot save you. Salvation is by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone.   To watch the Q&A from this sermon, click here.

I've recently become a huge fan of something called "Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy" treatment. After getting an softshell unit for my home (the ), I've been in it every day for 40-60 minutes for reading or napping, and it's become a complete game changer in my personal recovery and health protocol. You can read more in my guest's new book "", but the benefits include: Hyperoxygenation:  The delivery of 100% oxygen under pressure (1.5 to 3 ATA) within the hyperbaric chamber provides up to 20 times normal oxygen to all tissues within the body. This oxygen supersaturation is in marked contrast to breathing room air (21% oxygen at 1 ATA). Direct Pressure to Oxygen Molecules:  Inside the hyperbaric chamber, oxygen molecules are compressed and become more soluble, obeying the scientific principles of Boyle’s Universal Gas Law. This phenomenon allows oxygen to effortlessly cross cell membranes and enter all of the body’s fluid systems, including plasma, synovial, lymphatic, interstitial (between cells) and cerebrospinal fluids. Normally, only the red blood cells are capable of transporting oxygen throughout the body. Now, all body fluids combine to provide alternate transport routes for extra oxygen and cumulatively can provide up to 20 times normal O2. Bactericidal Ammunition – Aids in Killing Bacteria: Conditions created within the hyperbaric oxygen chamber are not favorable for the viability of bacteria, fungi and viruses – organisms that cannot survive in an oxygen rich environment. Extra oxygen is provided to the white blood cells (leukocytes) which become supercharged in the battle against bacteria responsible for causing infection and illness. Angiogenesis – The Formation of New Blood Vessels:  Hyperbaric Oxygen stimulates the body to grow new capillaries (angiogenesis), essentially building a new collateral circulatory system to serve injured and healthy tissues alike. The resulting neovascularization is extremely helpful for reaching tissues and organs that have restricted blood flow (ischemic areas) as well as areas of the body that are lacking or compromised in available oxygen (hypoxic areas). Superoxide Dismutase (SOD) Stimulation – A Surge of Antioxidant Capabilities:  Superoxide Dismutase (SOD) is an important enzyme found in human cells that inactivates superoxides, the most common free radicals in the body, responsible for destruction of cells. Hyperbaric Oxygen stimulates SOD production thereby helping the body to rid itself of the byproducts of inflammation and damaging free radicals. Synergy With Antibiotics: Hyperbaric Oxygen has been proven to create a synergistic effect when administered in conjunction with certain antibiotics. Synergy can be understood as two or more agents working together to produce a result not obtainable by any of the agents independently. Administration of HBOT biomechanically potentiates the effectiveness of antibiotic therapy. The capabilities of sulfanomides are increased up to ten fold when HBOT is added. Increased oxygen levels from HBOT alone also act as antibiotics by impairing bacterial metabolism. Improves Osteoblast and Osteoclast Production:  Faster regeneration of bone is derived by hyperbaric oxygen’s ability to stimulate and increase production of specialized cells (osteoblasts and osteoclasts) responsible for bone repair and formation. Increases Fibroblast and Collagen Production: These essential building blocks of connective-tissue, tendon and skin matrix (fibroblasts and collagen) provide the structural framework throughout the body and play a critical role in wound healing. Fibroblast and collagen reproduction and growth are aided by the added availability of increased oxygen provided during hyperbaric conditions. Decreases Inflammation Inflammation, one of the most common mechanisms of disease and injury, is caused by biochemical byproducts that are manufactured by the body’s natural immune response. Hyperbaric oxygen markedly decreases inflammation by stimulating the body’s own anti-inflammatory defenses. This may be the single most important function of HBOT. This podcast is all about . He thinks that having both gives the user great power. 12:21 – AJ’s background is with Node and the Python among other programs. 12:55 – Implementing Complex Business Logic. 15:50 – Val discusses his new e-book. 17:08 – Question from Aimee. 17:16 – AJ answers question. Does Async/Await have any affect on the way you program or does anything make it less or more confusing in the background changes? 24:30 – Val answers the before-mentioned question. Async/Await does not have anyway to help with this (data changes in the background). 25:36 – “My procedural code, I know that things won’t change on me because it is procedural code. Is it hard to adjust to that?” – AJ 26:01 – Val answers the question. 26:32 – Building a webserver with Python.  27:31 – Aimee asks a question: “Do you think that there are cases in code base, where I would want to use Promises? Not from a user’s perspective, but what our preferences are, but actual performance. Is there a reason why I would want to use both or be consistent across the board?” 28:17 – Val asks for some clarification to Aimee’s question. 29:14 – Aimee: “My own personal preference is consistency. Would I want to use Promises in ‘x’ scenario and/or use Async/Await in another situation?” 32:28 – Val and AJ are discussing and problem solving different situations that these programs 33:05 – “When would you not want to use Async/Await?” – AJ 33:25 – Val goes through the different situations when he would not use Async/Await.  33:44 – Chuck is curious about other features of Async/Await and asks Val. 36:40 – Facebook’s Regenerator 37:11 – AJ: “Back in the day, people would be really concerned with JavaScript’s performance even with Chrome.” He continues his thoughts on this topic. 38:11 – Val answers the AJ’s question. 39:10 – Duck JS probably won’t include generators. 41:18 – Val: “Have anyone used Engine Script before?” The rest of the panel had never heard of this before. 42:09 – Windows Scripting Host 42:56 – Val used Rhino in the past. 43:40 – Val: “Going back to the web performance question...” 47:08 – “Where do you see using Async/Await the most?” – Chuck 47:55 – Val uses Async/Await for everything on the backend because it has made everything so easy for him. 48:23 – “So this is why you really haven’t used Web Pack?” – AJ 49:20 – Let’s go to Aimee’s Picks! 50:18 – AJ’s story, first, before we get to Promises. 54:44 – Let’s transition to Promises Finally. 54:53 – Val talks about Promises Finally. 59:20 – Picks Links: JavaScript Valeri Karpov’s GitHub Valeri Karpov’s Twitter Valeri Karpov’s LinkedIn New E-Book: Mastering Async/Await Node Python Windows Scripting Host Facebook’s Regenerator Rhino Sponsors: Kendo UI Sentry Digital Ocean   Picks: Charles YouTube Video “IKEA” by Coulton Conference Amazon Prime Day Aimee Blog Post Article AJ IKEA https://ppl.family Val https://www.npmjs.com/package/serve http://bit.ly/ultimate-skiing http://asyncawait.net/jsjabber New E-Book: Mastering Async/Await

The break down of God the creator, the redeemer (Jesus) and regenerator (Holy Spirit). What does each part of God do? Why they are all one God, how its hard for us to interpret that in the flesh. Christ is identified in a three fold concept, the past, present and future. Reference the following scriptures: Genesis 1:1 John 1:1 Isaiah 14:12 Revelation 12:7 Revelation 3:5 Revelation 20:11
