Study Guide The Gemara clarifies which Tanna the Mishna follows regarding temed (grape-seed water). Rav Nachman in the name of Rabba bar Avahu explains that the dispute in the Mishna in Ma'asrot between Rabbi Yehuda and the Sages applies after it ferments, so our Mishna can align with the view of Rabbi Yehuda. Rav Nachman said in the name of Rabba bar Avahu that if a person bought temed with second tithe funds before it fermented, and it ultimately fermented, it is treated as wine. His words pose a difficulty for our Mishna, which did not present such an option. Rabba establishes the Mishna in a case where it is clear that it will not ferment later, while Rava suggests that the Mishna follows the view of Rabbi Yochanan ben Nuri, who holds that everything follows the visual appearance (chazuta) at the time of the sale. Rabbi Elazar disputes Rav Nachman's understanding of the Mishna in Ma'asrot, holding that the dispute applies when it has not fermented, but once it ferments, everyone agrees it is considered wine. A braita brings the laws of purifying temed that has not yet fermented by connecting it to water (haska). Rava limits this rule, explaining that this applies only when the water of the temed was pure from the beginning and became impure after it became temed, but if it was impure from the outset, it does not. However, Rav Ashi rejects his ruling and argues that there is no logic to distinguish between the cases. The Mishna states that anywhere there is a sale (a minor girl, ketana), there is no fine for rape (whose law only applies to a young woman, na'ara), and anywhere there is a fine, there is no sale. Rav Yehuda in the name of Rav explains that this is the view of Rabbi Meir, but the Sages say that a fine applies even to a ketana. A Mishna states that anywhere there is refusal (miun, for a ketana), there is no chalitza (for a na'ara), and anywhere there is chalitza, there is no miun. Rav Yehuda in the name of Rav says that this is also the view of Rabbi Meir, but the Sages say that miun applies even to a na'ara. A Mishna states that anywhere there is a shofar blast (tekiya), there is no havdala, and anywhere there is havdala, there is no tekiya. If a Festival falls on the eve of the Sabbath, you blow the shofar and do not say havdala. If it falls on the conclusion of the Sabbath, you say havdala and do not blow. The Sages and Rabbi Dosa dispute the exact wording of the havdala.

In this episode you will hear:• By the time he was 19 or 20 [my grandfather] had already graduated from college and was in the U.S. Army. (8:31)• You don't have to precheck in Israel because it's mandatory service for Israeli's. (9:25)• We saw our family with tattoos on their arms from death camps and concentration camps they were sent to. (19:19)• In Israel, all of our officers are “Mustangs.” (Prior enlisted and then cross over to become officers) (26:51)• In Israel, you don't really have a lot of senior enlisted guys, especially operators. The most senior guys – the ones with the most experience – are officers. (30:11)Israeli Arabs, who are Israeli citizens, don't have to serve. Ulta orthodox Jews are also exempt from service. (31:44)• [Marcus] Do something for your people. (37:01)• I really wanted to help create a program to help show them [combat veterans] how to utilize the skills they got from their military training and service in the business world, because I realized that a lot of the skills that I got from the military is what helped me become a successful entrepreneur.0 (40:46)• Our program is open to all combat veterans from U.S and Israel. We also started an entrepreneurship school.0 (43:53)• Hamas operators don't walk around with rifles. (57:51)• Their command centers are all under Mosques and hospitals by design. (58:37)• There's always conflict so you'll go to Tel-Aviv in the middle of the war and you'll still see people on the beach playing volleyball, and out at restaurants. We have to continue to go on. That's how you fight terrorism. (61:36)• Israel is one of the most important partners that the United States has in the global landscape. Borussia Dortmund were eliminated from Europe after surrendering a two-goal advantage against Atalanta, raising fresh questions about mentality ahead of Der Klassiker.Markus Fjørtoft and Jan Åge Fjørtoft analyse Niko Kovač's Dortmund project, examine whether the European collapse changes the Bundesliga title narrative, and debate what Dortmund actually want as a club after moving on from Edin Terzić and Nuri Şahin. We also assess Bayern Munich's position at the top as "history-makers", with Kane chasing Lewandowski's "impossible" record. Can he beat it? Pluss, is the title race still on if Dortmund win?

While much of the world focuses on the beauty standards of Korea's rich and famous, its K-Pop stars, actors, and influencers, we are left wondering how much of this actually applies to real life. Do regular Korean citizens face the same scrutiny around weight, fashion, surgery, and tattoos? I brought 4 Korean adults together to talk about these ideas and also to reveal some things about their own lives. He oído susurros. Y pasos. Pero no los suyos. Nuri lo miró largo rato. No dijo nada.

Steve Crossman & BBC Sport Wales' Dafydd Pritchard look at how the Welsh FA are fast becoming world leaders in producing elite coaches – with the likes of Mikel Arteta, Thierry Henry and Patrick Vieira being just some of many illustrious products of the FAW's coaching system. In this episode the guys head to Newport, where they're given access to the FAW's 2025 Pro License course in Newport, and speak to some of this years candidates who graduate this summer. You'll hear from the likes of former Arsenal defender Gaël Clichy, who talks about spending time with the SAS as part of the course. Nuri Şahin opens up about his research project on the All Blacks and why he wanted to study culture after being sacked by Borussia Dortmund in January this year, and Wales Manager Craig Bellamy discusses his love of Japanese culture and why part of his approach to coaching is to try to 'save people' from the mistakes he made.

It's time for The Truth!Borussia Dortmund parted company with head coach Nuri Sahin this week after a set of deeply concerning performances that have seen a giant of German and European football languishing in 10th in the Bundesliga, as well as falling out of the automatic qualification places in Europe. But the problems at the famous Westfalenstadion go far deeper than just a rookie coach seemingly out of his depth. Instead, they are endemic to the very fabric of one of the most well-known clubs in the world - issues with recruitment both on and off the pitch have led to this malaise, as well as failing to keep up with the changing times around them. We take a look at the decline of their league form, that was somewhat papered over by an excellent Champions League run last season, problems with getting the right kind of people in place to allow the club to flourish, and the 'keep it in-house' nature of the front office, all of which have contributed to this fall from grace. So can these problems be turned around? Or are Dortmund destined to be a fading force for more than just the immediate future? The Truth is somewhere in the middle... Hello Rank Squad! We talk a lot about the teams who are outdoing themselves, playing above their means, and taking their rightful flowers for their performances, but there's two sides to every coin. For every Bournemouth, there's a West Ham; for every Mainz, a Borussia Dortmund; and every Athletic Club, a Real Betis. We break down the teams who have struggled to meet their expectations across the course of this season - those who have flattered to deceive, those who have fallen well short of their pre-season expectations, and those who have been forced to reconsider their course midway through the campaign. Before that, there's time to look at a few more things going on in Europe - the resurgence of Kylian Mbappé's Real Madrid form and the fact that all three of the 'Tres Grandes' of Portugal - Sporting, Benfica and Porto - have now changed coaches in the same season for the first time in history. It's Ranks! Arsenal could only manage a 2-0 win at home to PSG. Pathetic. Today, Pete, Vish and Jim (mainly Pete) are here to question why Arsenal weren't able to despatch this new woke incarnation of PSG by at least four goals, like the mighty Newcastle did last season.Elsewhere, Pete questions whether everyone in the world named Nuri Şahin is extremely handsome.
