Some were virtual assistants, freelance writers and many were starting their coaching businesses. I got on the phone with a few and was horrified at what I heard. They had beautiful branding and gorgeous websites but they were going out of business.I even tried to hire a few of them but they would talk and talk and talk about themselves and NEVER ask specific questions. They would drone on about what they did but NEVER establish their value. It was straight out of a sales training nightmare. They were smart and great at their work but STARVING because they were trying to live off of referrals. They believed that MORE marketing was the answer. Spoiler alert: it's not.The biggest problem I saw everyone making (those who were complaining that they had no clients or customers) was that they were doing all of the steps OUT OF ORDER.They understood business. They were wicked smart. I kept asking myself "How were they missing this???".Then I started to realize that the online space can play on your worst fears and press on your self-doubt like no other space. I have a word that I want to share with you that will carry you throughout Christmas and New Years! Here's the word! GOD WANTS TO ADD TO YOUR LIFE, NOT TAKE AWAY! There are some things that God will purge or trim away out of your life, but it will always cause growth! For instance, the grape vine has to be trimmed back in order for it to be healthy and grow! There are some things that God will purge or trim away out of your life, but it will always cause growth! For instance, the grape vine has to be trimmed back in order for it to be healthy and grow! In this episode you will hear an encouraging word that God is not wanting to destroy you, nor put sickness on you, steal from you, take away from you or leave you depressed, desolate and alone! No! God is a God of multiplication and He's wanting to add and multiply in your life, not subtract and divide. As you know some of my own story, I cam from a divorced and divided family. I was abused, abandoned, thrown in foster care, (in the middle of puberty) and it left me lost, bankrupt, empty, exhausted, depleted, destitute, impoverished and broken. This is just part of my story! And we ALL have a story to tell. You may ask me “how” I overcame and I would tell you, little by little, day by day, walking with God, renewing my mind, and filling up on the Holy Spirit. Here's the key: Sometimes LIFE can leave you lacking, hurting and empty! Just look at this pandemic! It's not what has been done to you by someone, it's LIFE happening right before your eyes and you can't do anything about it. Covid, suicide, death, murder, freak accidents and so much more has touched our lives and now we are a people who are broken. The definition for broken is: not functioning properly! Imagine that! Have you ever been so thirsty or hungry, just to go to the snack machine and it says, “out of order”? Well, that is how the pandemic has left a lot of us ALL OVER THE WORLD! BROKEN, NOT FUNCTIONING PROPERLY, OUT OF ORDER! John 10:10 says the thief, the devil, comes to kill, steal, and destroy, but Jesus has come to give you life, and life abundantly. Jesus wants to ADD to your life and MULTIPLY YOU! Satan wants to deplete you, wear you out, leave you empty, subtract and divide! There are 5 things you can do that will start adding to your life that will create multiplication! Give Your life to Jesus! Your whole heart! This starts the process. Be grateful, heart of gratitude and use your voice for the good, to celebrate people and life! Learn to enjoy PEACE! Strive for it. Read the word of God and adhere to the teachings of Jesus. Tell your story! God is saying to you today, “I will not fail you! I am with you, and I will never leave you! I will respond to you at the proper time! Trust Me with the journey because every step you take forward is one step closer to the plan I have for you!” Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Our deliverance won't come in the form of a blank check, a beauty treatment, self-empowerment, or even the most fulfilling relationship with a parent, spouse, or child; the fulfillment we seek will come to us only when we choose God, and put Him first. Joshua 24:15 says, “Choose this day whom you will serve. As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.” For thousands of years, worldly things have called to humanity, offering false promises, and failing to deliver. From the very beginning, and before this world was even created, the one true God was. He is. He always will be. And when we choose Him, He promises to give us lasting hope, peace, and love for all eternity. Nothing in a jar, box, or bank account can come close, and no relationship means more. Let's pray. Heavenly Father, we choose you. Only you are worthy above every false god, above every temptation, above our relationships with people, money, or things. The website had me fill out my name and email in exchange for a download that went along with the book. The next few weeks I started getting emails from a coach.This was my first foray into doing business virtually in a global economy.I started going into Facebook groups and connecting with other women business owners. Some were virtual assistants, freelance writers and many were starting their coaching businesses. I got on the phone with a few and was horrified at what I heard. They had beautiful branding and gorgeous websites but they were going out of business.I even tried to hire a few of them but they would talk and talk and talk about themselves and NEVER ask specific questions. They would drone on about what they did but NEVER establish their value. It was straight out of a sales training nightmare. They were smart and great at their work but STARVING because they were trying to live off of referrals. They believed that MORE marketing was the answer. Spoiler alert: it's not.The biggest problem I saw everyone making (those who were complaining that they had no clients or customers) was that they were doing all of the steps OUT OF ORDER.They were focusing on "getting headshots" and "branding their website" but had ZERO money coming in the front door. These were smart, highly experienced business women from ALL types of industries: Lawyers who became Life Coaches, Engineers who became Authors, Medical Doctors who became Health Coaches, Harvard Professors who became Business Coaches and Ivy Leaguers who became Email Marketers.They understood business. They were wicked smart. I kept asking myself "How were they missing this???".Then I started to realize that the online space can play on your worst fears and press on your self-doubt like no other space. With custom-made news feeds that show you exactly what you've expressed interest in, you only see your LACK and it can feel like EVERYONE else has already DONE what you are just setting out to do and ... they are doing it better (or at least it can FEEL that way).It's not your fault if you feel defeated.There is so much PRESSURE to do more, show up more, be more visible that the actual REASON you wanted to start your business in the first place can get lost. The website had me fill out my name and email in exchange for a download that went along with the book. The next few weeks I started getting emails from a coach.This was my first foray into doing business virtually in a global economy.I started going into Facebook groups and connecting with other women business owners. Some were virtual assistants, freelance writers and many were starting their coaching businesses. I got on the phone with a few and was horrified at what I heard. They had beautiful branding and gorgeous websites but they were going out of business.I even tried to hire a few of them but they would talk and talk and talk about themselves and NEVER ask specific questions. They would drone on about what they did but NEVER establish their value. It was straight out of a sales training nightmare. They were smart and great at their work but STARVING because they were trying to live off of referrals. They believed that MORE marketing was the answer. Spoiler alert: it's not.The biggest problem I saw everyone making (those who were complaining that they had no clients or customers) was that they were doing all of the steps OUT OF ORDER.They were focusing on "getting headshots" and "branding their website" but had ZERO money coming in the front door. These were smart, highly experienced business women from ALL types of industries: Lawyers who became Life Coaches, Engineers who became Authors, Medical Doctors who became Health Coaches, Harvard Professors who became Business Coaches and Ivy Leaguers who became Email Marketers.They understood business. They were wicked smart. I kept asking myself "How were they missing this???".Then I started to realize that the online space can play on your worst fears and press on your self-doubt like no other space. This week, we are excited to share with y'all an interview with TL, the main artist and designer of Bloc by Bloc: The Game of Insurrection. From the website of Out Of Order games, which publishes the game, "Bloc by Bloc is a semi-cooperative strategy board game inspired by 21st century riots and revolutions. The game features hidden agendas, deep strategy, area control, asymmetrical player abilities, and a special method for randomly generating billions of unique city layouts." Well, now the second edition of the game has launched a kicksKickStartertarter to pay for the new edition. This new edition includes streamlined game play, new pieces and new scenarios in order to improve the initial game. For the hour, TL & I talk about how the board game was developed, what study of real-world did to influence the game's development, TL's thoughts on how play can strengthen strategic thought, cultural means of spreading liberatory imagination with story-telling, and cooperation and more. In this, the 35th episode of The Last Podcaster Standing, Something completely different... Most often in the write-ups I do for each episode, I attempt to use humor and wit to inform you in part, of what the topics and headlines we discuss are in the episode. This time around however, I thought I would change it up and tell you rather instead about the episode title used this week: "Out Of Order". As a general rule of thumb, our titles are often a play on words of moments or headlines that occur within the episode. "Out Of Order" is not one of them. This title was chosen for what you don't hear, and in fact, has a double meaning. The first is "out of order", as in broken. As in not working. An example being Skype. During this episode it kept dropping both the The Google Goddess and our guest @MoseDogg. Not once, not twice, but around 7 times. Yet we continued on, in spite of my juvenile temper tantrums to just quit for the night. And yes, that actually was recorded. Another example of "out of order" (in context of being broken) would be AT&T, which wasn't working, which would also explain Skype crapping out. We tried, and would like to blame it on @MoseDogg and his 1986 dial up phone modem, but then we'd be lying. The third and final example would be human error. After countless technical difficulties and incessant interruptions, the only thing left to go "out of order" was me. Mentally broken. You'll note something peculiar in the intro stories. Like us, laughing. A Lot. A lot more than the stories being told call for. The reason for this... We had already told the stories. I, being mentally "out of order", due to the nights difficulties, had forgotten to hit the RECORD button, after pausing it countless times. And that kids is just the beginning. The second reason for the title was because unlike other episodes, I had to stitch this s*** together like Frankenstein's monster. Recorded "out of order" and covering mistakes and technical failures required the episode be cut and shifted around like a puzzle. Which I have never had to do before so... Fingers crossed! And now you know. Coming in the next few weeks I will be releasing clips from this episode that will provide you with a look behind the curtain of this specific episode. In the meantime, enjoy this. It is a labor of love and idiocy. And yes, grammar Nazi's I know this write up is riddled with mistakes. Feel free to re-write it and submit it back to us.
