Take 10 with Tim – April 18, 2025 – 9:30 am. We will use Microsoft Teams1.The Cubs demoted Matt Shaw this week after getting off to a tough start, where he only hit .172 in 18 games.a.It appears Gage Workman will be on the strong side of a platoon with Jon Berti. Workman is a Rule-5 guy I recommended during the Spring because I thought he'd get a shot. Any chance for success here?b.If we're taking Matt Shaw's demotion, one has to wonder when the Nationals will pull the plug on Dylan Crews. Crew's performance makes Matt Shaw look like an All-Star.2.Spencer Strider returns to the mound after almost a year to the day of his TJS. a.Were you encouraged? 5.0 IP, 5 hits, 2 ER, 5K/1BB. Granted, it was the Tigers, but I wrote a long post about him to our Patreon members, indicating that the data looked pretty good. Was this just a lucky outing or do you think it's sustainable?5.The Dodgers are handling their pitching staff as we suggested. They are using that fifth spot in the rotation, soon to be sixth as a minor league start. They've used Justin Wrobleski, Bobby Miller, and Landon Knack. Knack has pitched the best. Is he worth a grab, or with Ohanti and Gonsolin due back, should you avoid the entire situation?6.I saw where you were able to trade for Shane Baz in our Dynasty League and, surprisingly, it didn't cost you much. Tamboran Resources Ltd CEO Joel Riddle talked with Proactive about the company's newly signed letter of intent (LOI) with Arafura Resources Ltd to supply gas from the Beetaloo Basin. Riddle explained that both companies are based in the Northern Territory, and the agreement supports local strategic projects by providing 25 terajoules (TJs) per day to Arafura's critical minerals project. The agreement aligns with Tamboran's strategy of prioritising Northern Territory gas use. “We're a Northern Territory company. We've been focused on appraising the Beetaloo Basin now for all 12 years I've been in my job,” Riddle said, highlighting the company's long-term commitment to the region. Riddle also pointed out the environmental edge of Beetaloo Basin gas, which has a CO2 content of about 3%, significantly lower than the 15–20% typically found in other Australian basins. He said supplying this low-carbon gas to the East Coast would help reduce emissions by displacing higher-carbon alternatives. Discussing supply capacity, Riddle compared the Beetaloo to the Marcellus Shale in the US, noting it could provide enough gas to support the East Coast for “hundreds of years”. Tamboran plans to bring 40 TJs per day online in the first half of next year under an existing 15-year agreement with the NT Government. The Arafura deal will add a further 25 TJs daily. Riddle said work is underway with pipeline partner APA to ensure infrastructure capacity. The company aims to finalise a binding gas sales agreement with Arafura soon. Watch the full interview to hear how Tamboran is positioning Beetaloo gas as a key part of the East Coast supply solution, while supporting Northern Territory industry.

Fantasy Baseball Live – February 9, 2025 @ 3 PM ETSegment 1 – News and Notes1.The Mets re-upped with Pete Alonso on a two-year deal. The league has learned its lesson from hulking First Base sluggers like Alonso, and consequently, it's become more challenging for them to land the big contract.a.Your thoughts on the deal. Are there any changes at all in where you draft him2.Phew. Jack Flaherty managers give a sigh of relief when he re-upped with the Tigers for a two-year deal that is front-loaded with an opt-out. So, assuming he doesn't get hurt, he'll likely opt out. a.Will he be more of the 2024 version on the 2022-23 pitcher? 3.The Angels were at it again, signing Yoan Moncada to a one-year, $5 million contract. a.This is why I'm so critical of the Angels. This is a dumb deal to me. He hasn't been able to stay healthy, and if it weren't for a .406-fueled 2019 season, where he hit 25 home runs and batted.315, I'm not sure anybody would be thinking about him. Not to lead the witness, but what do you think? Am I all wet?4.Well the Tirso Ornelas came crashing down when the Padres signed the power-couple duo of Jason Heyward and Connor Joe. Oh well. Thoughts.Segment 2 – AL West1.Houston Astrosa.Isaac Paredes 2025 stat line: HR, RBI, and BAi.Will he be a downgrade from Alex Bregman, upgrade, or about the same?b.Chas McCormack (608.80 ADP), Jake Meyers (611.36), and Taylor Trammell (750.51) are the projected starting outfield. We've discussed previously about how weak it is. Do you have any interest?i.Over/Under Pedro Leon of 200 ABsc.Luis Garcia had TJS in 2023 and should be a full go this spring. In his last full season in 2022, he was pretty good. His ADP is 365. Is he a sneaky add in a draft?d.Spencer Arrighetti pitched to a 5.63 ERA in the first half and a 3.18 in the second. His batting average against went from .268 to .226. Any interest. His ADP is 216.9e.Give me a sleeper in the organization (minor or majors)2.Los Angeles Angelsa.True or False. Mike Trout will win a World Series with the Angels before his career ends.i.Stat line for Trout: AB, HR, SB, BAb.Jo Adell's ADP is 290.89 and he's going as the 71st outfielder off the board. He hits the ball extremely hard and sprint speed in the 86th percentile. There is going to be pressure on his batting average as he doesn't make great contact. However, if he gets playing time, isn't there 20-20 potential here?i.Will he get the playing time?c.Yoan Moncada stat line for 2025: AB, HR, and BAd.Nolan Schanuel – Over/Under 15 home runse. Is Kikuchi more like the Astros version in 2025 or more like the “every other” season for the Angels in 2025?i.We will look at where he's going in drafts.f.Give me a sleeper in the organization (minor or majors)3.Athleticsa.Tyler Soderstrom was a top prospect for several years, but has yet to establish himself in the Majors. Will he this year or will Kurtz beat him to the punch?i.Nick Kurtz 2025 stat line: AB, HR, BAb.Lawrence Butler went 22 and 18 in 451 PAs last year. Over/Under 50 combined SB and HR for 2025?c.Who would you rather roster: Luis Severino (290.0) or Jeffrey Springs (239.3)?d.Will Mason Miller be on the Athletics on August 1?e.Give me a sleeper in the organization (minor or majors)4.Seattle Marinersa. In one of our Dynasty League startups, I considered drafting Victor Robles but couldn't pull the trigger. I studied the data, and while he stole 34 bases last season, he's not a burner with sprint speeds in the 63rd percentile. A .370 BABIP drove his .307 batting average, and given his poor exit velocity, I don't see that sticking or much power. Am I too low on Robles? I don't get the hype, as he's going as the 49th OF off the board. b.One of our Patreon members reminded me that we don't talk enough about Seattle's poor hit park factors (T-Mobile). It's last in the league. Should this give you pause at the draft table for guys like J-Rod, Raleigh, and Arozarena?c.Will Julio Rodriguez be drafted in the first round in 2026?d.Do you think the Mariners should trade one of their big starters for some offense? If so, who would you suggest?i.An ideal trading partner would be the Orioles.e.Give me a sleeper in the organization (minor or majors)5.Texas Rangersa.Evan Carter state line for 2025: AB, HR, SB, and BAi. Will he be a full-time or platoon player by mid-season?b.Adolis Garcia had a down season in 2025. Although his speed has decreased, he still hits the ball extremely hard. Do you think he's more of a 30 to 35-home-run guy or a 25-home-run guy with pressure on his batting average?i.We will look at where he is being drafted and look at other players around himc.Do we see the break out of Wyatt Langford in 2025?i.He will be _______________ round pick in 2026.d.RosterResource lists Chris Martin as the closer in Texas. Sometimes an analogy comes along that just clicks. It takes information you may have heard before and helps drive it home. That is what happened with my guest in this show regarding the brain chemicals that fuel our drive and motive. TJ POWER is a neuroscientist and innovator in the area of mental health. His work focuses on providing easy-to-adopt, scientifically backed teachings that empower people to take action towards healthier lifestyles. He has a really big following and when I got his book, I understood why. The book is, The DOSE Effect: Optimize Your Brain & Body By Boosting Your Dopamine, Oxytocin, Serotonin, and Endorphins, and in it, TJs explanations helped me see how I am increasing or depleting the brain chemicals I rely on to do the important work in my life. Most of us have heard much about dopamine, but do we really understand how we increase and decrease it? Then also, oxytocin, serotonin, and endorphins. Now the point isn't to understand each one fluently, but to understand how they help us and what we are doing in our everyday lives that help or hurt them. I was most interested in what I learned about how I'm depleting some of these chemicals early in the day, and then later it feels like I'm lacking drive and motivation. I trust in listening to this conversation, you will be able to understand what these chemicals do for us and like me, now understand how to far better leverage them to do the things you truly want to do. Fantasy Baseball Live – December 29, 2024Segment 1 – News and Notes1.The Nationals acquired Nathanial Lowe from the Rangers for LHP Robert Garcia. The Rangers then signed Joc Pederson to a 2-year, $37 million contract with an opt-out after the first yeara.First, what did you think of the Nationals' move? Lowe wasn't very good last season but was fairly consistent prior to that.i.For those thinking that Andres Chaparro would get a chance, that appears to not be in the cards.b.The move allows the Rangers to move Jake Burger full-time to first and then park Pederson as the strong-side platoon DH. What do you think of the Rangers lineup?c.Does Robert Garcia get a boost in value with the chance to be the closer in Texas? Or was he your favorite in Washington for saves?2.The Diamondbacks signed Corbin Burnes for 6-years and 210 million.a.Burnes is on a four-year decline in his strikeout rate and only struck out 8.4 per nine last season. Plus, after a stellar first half, he posted a 3.69 ERA in the second half. Are you all in with Burnes in 2025, or do you have some reservations?i.Is he worth an early third-round pick (6th starter off the board)?ii.Are you particularly concerned about his move to the NL West and Arizona?3.The Dodgers re-signed Teoscar Hernandez for three years and $66 million with $23 million deferred. Jeff Passan said it best…the Dodgers are a machine. They get who they want. What do you think?4.The Red Sox signed Walker Buehler to a one-year, $21.05 million contract. He's coming off this second TJS and struggled in 16 starts for the Dodgers last season. He posted a 5.38 ERA, striking out 7.7 per nine.a.Stat line for 2025: IP, K, wins, and ERA5.The Tigers do things that I don't understand. They signed Javier Baez to a huge contract a few years back, and it will turn out to be one of the worst deals in the modern era. Now, they have signed Gleybar Torres to a one-year deal ($15 million). I know people say there are no bad one-year deals, but it clogs up an already full infield. a.Give me the starters in the infield and lose out on playing time.Segment 2 – NL West Fantasy Questions1.Arizona Diamondbacksa.Corbin Carroll will be more like the 2024 first-half player or the 2024 second-half player in 2025?i.Stat line for 2025: HR, SB, and BAb.Jordan Lawlar will take over the shortstop role of ______________ (looking for a date)?c.Is Alek Thomas nothing more than a fourth outfielder or do you think he can develop into something more?d.Justin Martinez had a nice run of closing games in August but didn't save a game after September 3. After injuries and poor playing when he was healthy, he will only cost you a 17th-round pick. Am I nuts to think there could be sneaky value here?c.One of your guys last season was Ezequiel Tovar. They'll move Willson Contreras to first and give full-time at-bats to Ivan Herrera. I'm a fan of Herrera. What are your thoughts?2.The Yankees also acquired Cody Bellinger from the Cubs for RHP Cody Poteet. The Cubs will pay $5 million to offset the deal. This was a salary dump to eliminate some of the outfield depth the Cubs didn't need.a.Bellinger is a dead pull hitter with poor exit velocities and a ton of leverage. He should be better in Yankees stadium, but is it enough to interest you in Drafts? He is the 28th outfielder off the board and has increased since the trade. Are you interested? Will we look at the players going around him?b.Let's see what we think about the Yankees opening day lineup - RosterResource3.The Phillies sign Max Kepler to a one-year, $10 million contract. He's not the same player he was a few years ago, as the exit velocities are off, and last year, he rarely walked. You typically don't see the fall-off he had last season in his walk rate, so there could be some positive correction. However, with the bat speed down, players will get more anxious. His ADP is 639.51. Is there any value left? Maybe a flier in a Draft and Hold League?4.The Orioles sign Tomoyuki Sugano. Can you give us a scouting report?a.Let's look at the Orioles Opening Day rotation.5.Early this morning, the Phillies acquired Jesus Luzardo from the Marlins for…wait for it…more prospects. I guess this makes sense as he was due for a raise (estimated at $5.5 million), and let's face it, he's not that good, and there are plenty of options.a.Who do you think gets his playing time?4.Finally, the Blue Jays non-tender Jordan Romano. He was estimated to earn $8 million and it appears that the Jays didn't want to take the risk on whether he would return to form. Perhaps they don't like the medicals.a.Who do you like to get saves in Toronto?Segment 2 – Fantasy Questions of the NL East1.Atlanta Bravesa.Michael Harris went late in the second, early third round last year, which resulted in a 16/10 year and a batting average of .264. He's going about in the same spot (42 ADP). Do you like this spot for him.i.We will look at other players going around him to see who you preferb.Stat line for Austin Riley – HR, RBI and BA. He went 19 and 56 last season.i.His ADP is 30.82 and he's going as the third third baseman off the board. Too much or just about right?c.Is Marcel Ozuna turning into Nelson Cruz. He seems to be getting better with age. What are the odds he gets close to his 39/104 with a .302 batting average in 2025?d.What did you think of the trade for Griffin Canning? He has pretty good stuff with a plus change-up and slider, but his fastball gets crushed (.529 SLG). Can the Braves perform magic again here?i.I wrote this before he got non-tendered. I guess the answer is no. Weird though.e.Give me a sleeper in the organization (minor or majors)2.Miami Marlinsa.Connor Norby 2025 stats – HR, SB and BAb.Xavier Edwards stole 31 bases in 70 games last season but has no power. He did hit .328 but it was supported by a .398 BABIP. He's only SS eligible and is the #17 SS off the board. Any interest? If so, how will you make up for the lack of power?c.Deyvision De Los Santos – 2025 stats – AB, HR, and BAxd.Sandy Alcantara is going as the 69th pitcher off the board. Let's call it a number three starter. Is there sneaky value there or do you have to discount him because of the TJS until we know more?e.Is the Marlins closer currently on their roster?f.Give me a sleeper in the organization (minor or majors)3.New York Metsa.Mark Vientos is going to cost you this season. His ADP is 99, and he's the 7th third baseman off the board. Good value or too expensive?i.He has average bat speed but hits the ball extremely hard (80th percentile). There is a ton of swing-and-miss in his game, and he has no speed. Is Jake Burger a good com?b.Does Tyronne Taylor start the season as the Met's starting center fielder?c.After finishing with 33 home runs and 29 stolen bases and runner up to Shohei Ohtani for NL MVP, why is Francisco Lindor going off the board as the 17th overall pick? Shouldn't he be higher or does this feel about right?d.Kodai Senga – 2025 stat line - IP, Ks and ERAe.Give me a sleeper in the organization (minor or majors)

The US election is 2 weeks away, and we spotlight the various constitutional amendments and referendums being voted on at the state level: marijuana legalization, abortion protections, ranked choice voting, and more! We each share what's on our states' ballots, and how we're voting on these amendments! (And Laura reminds you to "look under the hood" on these proposals to better understand how they will actually work.) Why on earth are there bipartisan efforts to kill open primaries and ranked choice voting in Nevada?? It's only taken over a century, but several states are just now considering taking language about slavery out of their constitutions... But onto happier subjects: you know we love nostalgia, so we can't pass up the opportunity to talk about 90's Halloween and Spooky Szn culture! What is our personal relationship to Halloween, and why is Laura so obsessed with murder? We draw a connection between trick-or-treating and Andrew's fondness for snagging strangers' hotel room service leftovers. Did 90s parents inspect our Halloween candy mainly as an excuse to sneak in some sweet treats? Andrew will once again be the most popular house in his neighborhood with full size candy bars, so line up kids! We've got a slew of entertainment recommendations this week! 'Agatha All Along' on Disney+ (Pam), Ali Wong's 'Single Lady' standup special on Netflix (Laura), and Mario Party Jamboree! (Andrew) And in this week's installment of After Dark, available on Patreon and Apple Podcasts: Pam can't stop thinking about a Whole Foods Cake being emblematic of the state of the economy.  Why have so many fast food restaurants rolled back their introductions of alternative meat products? Laura can't enjoy Del Taco anymore! Andrew will be rioting at his local Trader Joe's if they do away with his top favorites, so watch out TJs! Learn more about your ad choices. Is this election season making you feel crazy? I know Im feeling frustrated and sad with where we are as a nation. There is a lot of tension in the air, I see long time friendships that are ending, and with the holiday season just around the corner, we need to find a better way to relate to our families that have different perspectives. And I just have to admit, I have plenty of my own biased thinking. I want to be open to allowing new ideas that will help me be the kind of loving person I want to be. Today my guest TJ Woodward and I are going to talk openly about how to maintain our sanity, and find a new way to relate to those we disagree with, all without abandoning our values. TJs name might sound familiar to you. He was my guest for episode #311. Fantasy Baseball Live – March 10, 2024Segment 1 - News and Notes1.Noelvi Marte gets suspended for 80 games to start the season after testing positive for a BAN PED. Given the length it takes to test, I'm wondering if he tested positive last season.a.When sports leagues try to convince us that PEDs are out of their league, it seems like they are more hopeful or just trying to convince us that their product is clean. Your thoughts…is Marte an anomaly or just a young kid who got caught?b.Break down the infield for the Reds to start the season.2.It appears that Mookie Betts will gain SS eligibility after the Dodgers moved Gavin Lux to second with concerns about his ability to make the throw.a.I know we people get excited about what Ohtani can do, but moving from the outfield back to shortstop after not playing there for years is pretty impressive. I'm not sure fans have a true appreciation for this.b.Given this news, would you give pause to drafting Gavin Lux as a sleeper? It's not the lack of SS eligibility, but it appears he is not completely healthy. 3.Tommy Edman will start the season on the IL. Dylan Carlson gets another life. What about Victor Scott II?4.Joey Votto signs a minor league deal with the Blue Jays. Any interest?5.Nathaniel Lowe will start the season on the IL. It looks like Justin Foscue will get a chance. Also, this might give more confidence that Wyatt Langford will come North with the team. Although he's been a monster this spring, keeping him down would be tough to do. Your thoughts?a.What happens when Lowe returns?6.Fascinating article this week in the Athletic from Rangers head physician Dr. Keith Meister (he's the inventor of the brace elbow surgery). His position is that many of the injuries occurring with pitchers are now just not velocity, but the expanded use of sweepers and power change-up (turbo change-up). I surmised that added horizontal movement from sweepers would tax the arm, but the power change-up was something I had not considered. He said it came a lot from how hard the player had to squeeze the ball. When you look at the pitchers with the highest change-up velos, it's a little scary.7.Lucas Giolito has a UCL tear and is getting a second opinion, but TJS looks likely. This will be his second.8.Mason Black could be start the season in the Giants rotation. Any interest?Segment 2 – Outfield Sleepers – Please have five or so.1.Jaren Duran (OF, Bos, ADP=167) – When I did my targets in December, his ADP was 2002.Henry Davis (OF, Pit, 295) – When I did my targets in December, his ADP was 4413.Riley Greene (OF, Det, 163) – He's looking increasingly like he'll start the season with full-time at-bats. Hits the ball hard with speed. Step up?4.Dylan Crews (OF, Was, 570) – Yes, Wyatt Langford could be a monster, but people are forgetting about Crews and he's free in drafts5.Chase DeLauter (OF, Cle, 669) – He's better than Ramon Laureano. Look for him in the second half.6.Andy Pages (OF, LAD, 747) – I love the setup here despite no room at the inn.

Give me two moves that you would do to prevent the Orioles from going three and out in next year's playoffs.i.Do the Orioles make the playoffs in 2024?b.Roster Resource has Jackson Holliday as the starting shortstop. Do you believe this will happen?c.Stat line for Jordan Westburg – AB, HR, SB, and BAd.Kyle Bradish is going as the 37th pitcher off the board (25th starter). Is this something that interest you? Too high? Too low?i.Is he someone you are personally interested in?e.Give me a sleeper in the organization (Minor and/or Major)2.Boston Red Soxa. After some starts and stops, Jarren Duran was pretty good last season—.295/.346/.482 with 8 HRs and 24 SBs in only 362 plate appearances. Statcast shows above-average hard hit rates, elite speed but contact issues (25% K-Rate), and 6.6% BB-Rate. He also had a .381 BABIP.i.With all that, he's the 45th outfielder off the board. Any interest as your #3 outfielder?b.Tristan Casas will hit ________________ home runs in 2024.c.I believe you mentioned that Brayan Bello is one of your targets this year. If so, what are you liking?d.Give me a sleeper in the organization (Minor and/or Major)3.New York Yankeesa.Anthony Volpe went 20-20 (21 HR and 24 SB), but he also hit .209 with a .283 OBP while striking out 28% of the time. He also posted a .259 BABIP. At 22, you have to consider him as a player who is still developing, and given how deep shortstop is, he's only the 18th shortstop off the board.i.Would you take him as your MI? Would you wait and take him as your starting SS? Or, just avoid him? b.Over/Under 400 at-bats for Giancarlos Stanton? He is going as the 86th outfielder off the board. On the surface, this seems like value, but why do I have this “wasted pick” feeling? Your thoughts?c.Put your GM hat on. What three moves would you make for the Yankees to return to the playoffs?d.Michael King will finish as a top _______________ pitcher in fantasy baseball.i.He's going as the 61st pitcher off the board or the 39th starter. Too rich for you, or are you taking the plunge?e.Give me a sleeper in the organization (Minor and/or Major)4.Tampa Bay Raysa.Wander Franco – Over/Under 1 game played in 2024? If over, how many?b.Isaac Paredes was one of my sleepers last season, but I didn't expect 31 home runs. In looking at the data, he's a launch angle guy (22 degrees) but doesn't hit the ball all that hard (6% hard-hit rate). He has a great strikeout rate (18.2%).i.Are you buying the 31 home runs? If not, how many are you penciling in?ii.He is going as the 23rd 3B off the board, so in early drafts, it doesn't seem like people believe.c.Josh Lowe was great as a platoon player last season – 20 HR, 32 SB. Is that enough production to ignore the hit on Runs and RBIs you will take, although he had 83 RBIs last season?i.He is going as the 18th outfielder off the board.d.Shane Baz should be back early next season from TJS (surgery was on 9/24/22). Sneaky pick or somebody to ignore? 91st pitcher off the board (60th or so starter)e.Give me a sleeper in the organization (Minor and/or Major)5.Toronto Blue Jaysa.Vlad is in a three-year decline in home runs (48, 32, and last year, 26) but is still only 25 (next season). He makes excellent contact (14.7% strikeout rate), with high-end exit velos and more launch than he ever had last season. i.He's dropped down to the third round? Is there value there, or are you in the camp that he's a good player but will not be a great player?b.Davis Schneider – stat line for 2024 – AB, BA, and HR.c.I felt Alejandro Kirk was an overdraft as a Top 5 catcher last season. This year, he's hated and is going as the 25th catcher. Will you take a gamble with him as your second catcher?d.Alek Manoah – Over/under 20 starts in Toronto in 2024?e.Give me a sleeper in the organization (Minor and/or Major)CloseThis show is part of the Spreaker Prime Network, if you are interested in advertising on this podcast, contact us at https://www.spreaker.com/show/3306394/advertisement

Fantasy Baseball Live – October 1. 4pmWrapping up the season.Segments 1 and 2 - Discuss the weekend games.Additional Questions1.The Giants parted ways with Gabe Kapler. Who else do you think is in trouble? Any GMs?a.Yankeesi.Aaron Boone ii.Brian Cashmanb.San Diegoi.Bob Melvinii.AJ Prellerc.Mets – Buck Showalterd.Cardinals – Oliver Marmol2.Did you see the check swing by Bryce Harper that Angel Hernandez called a swing? I mean, what a joke.a.Why does this guy still have a job? If the answer is a strong union, then something has to change.3.Why did the Rockies resign Charlie Blackmon? Sure, he slashed .284/.368/.446, but with eight home runs, he's a singles hitter who really should be a DH. Kind of like Andrew Benintendi, and he has a job. But still, given where they are in the process, shouldn't they let their kids play and build for the future? I don't get it. 4.Two notable pitching performances yesterday – Do either interest you for next season? They should be cheap.a.Frankie Montes – 1.1 IP, 2 hits, 0 ER, 1K/1BBb.Chris Paddack – 3 IP, 2 hits, 0 ER, 4K/0BB. Total of five innings, striking out 8 and walking one. FB was 95.5 MPH, up 2.5 MPH from 2022. Better spin. Change-up still looks great.5.On the other hand, Carlos Rodon had a start to forget. a.0.0 IP, 6 hits, 8 ER, 2 BB. Brutal season. 6.85 ERA in 14 starts. Can he be this bad?6.Felix Bautista is having TJS. A real bummer as he will likely not pitch in 2024.Segment 3 – First round of the playoffs – Best 2 out of 3 – October 4 through 61.American Leaguea.Orioles (1) and Astros (2) - Byesb.Rangers (6) vs. Twins (3)c.Blue Jays (5) vs. Rays (4)2.National Leaguea.Braves (1) and Dodgers (2) – Byesb.Diamondbacks (6) vs. Brewers (3)c.Marlins (5) vs. Phillies (4)Segment 4 – Preparing for next season.•What will be the first things you start to look at for 2024?This show is part of the Spreaker Prime Network, if you are interested in advertising on this podcast, contact us at https://www.spreaker.com/show/3306394/advertisement

This week, Tox Josh joins Rooted Recovery Stories with Patrick Custer to discuss Josh's rise in the aesthetics industry, struggle with a near-death experience, the inner and outer battle with body dysmorphia and the tremendously difficult task of trying to overcome shame. Joshua Davis, BSN, RN, is the founder and creative master-mind behind ToxJosh Studios. Josh's vision for ToxJosh studios started when he saw the need for a creative outlet for aesthetic providers who are passionate about holistic transformations. The TJS team is dedicated to helping patients discover the best version of themselves - inside and out. In the aesthetics or beauty industry, it is easy to get derailed by unrealistic expectations created by the images we are constantly bombarded with on television, social media, etc. I wanted to create a place where people could come and feel safe to discover the best version of themselves. I strongly believe there has to be an inner transformation that comes with any aesthetic work - at the end of the day, I want to help each of my patients be able to look in the mirror and truly LOVE who they see looking back. Joshua Davis, BSN, RN, received his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Belmont University, and Bachelor of Musical Arts from Vanderbilt University. Joshua started his nursing career in Trauma ICU & Multi-Specialty Critical Care and transitioned into Aesthetics & Management in 2012. With his meticulous eye to detail and naturalism in aesthetics, Josh's work soon began to be recognized on social media outlets, being voted in the Top 100 Injectors in the United States in 2018 through 2022, appointed to the Merz Aesthetics Advisory Board in 2019, and a Independent Consultant for Prollenium, and a KOL for Cartessa. Better known as Tox Josh, he has quickly become a social media icon in the field of aesthetics, performing Instagram takeovers for major industry companies, has motivated audiences for aesthetic professional organizations around the world, and has helped create Social Media Network Groups with some of the top social media influencers in the industry.
