Could it be that the reason this was so late in posting was because I got obsessed with Overwatch and finally launched by esports career?  No; just boring life stuff getting in the way.  If only I had another multiplayer live service game to motivate me, one with wacky robots and cartoonish characters.  And I'm not talking about Fortnite, although Epic and Microsoft most certainly are.  Yes it's another week of palace intrigue in the world of video games and we are here to further add to the whispers while we await some of 2026's large releases.

There a ways to play the old game, ways that we endorse but will not fully explain. To that end, Alex is playing the old Ratchet and Clank games on modern hardware and feeling like a kid again. Chance is *gasp* enjoying the PS5 version of Avowed, but not enough keep him from feeling like a kid again in Overwatch, as Tracer is (temporarily) good again. Chamberlain was never a child, does not know what it feels like to be one, and has instead been playing middling games like Crisol and High on Life 2.

Threat hunting is hard to define, but Brody Nisbet, Sr. Director of CrowdStrike OverWatch, breaks down the basics in an episode that starts with the CrowdStrike OverWatch mission and dives into his stories from the front lines of threat hunting. This team detects adversaries in customer environments before they can achieve their nefarious goals. “Our mission is to outcompete your adversary,” Brody says. His team notifies customers of adversary activity and provides them with the actionable intelligence required to protect themselves. A staggering amount of data goes into the CrowdStrike OverWatch team's process: 5.7 trillion events per day (65 million events per second). The team triages this data and “sorts the wheat from the chaff” to figure out what's most important for each business. As you might imagine, this work leads to some fascinating findings and stories.
