A former ranch owner in Temecula, California, describes a life-changing epiphany about Sasquatch after years of dismissing their existence. Living on a property with fruit trees and two large dogs, the narrator initially believed Sasquatch were confined to northern forests, not Southern California. However, after an accident left them bedridden, they became engrossed in Sasquatch-related videos, including one about two marines encountering a 12-foot Sasquatch at Camp Pendleton, just nine miles from their ranch. This triggered a realization that unexplained events on their property—silent nights, missing fruit from tall trees, a vanished coyote corpse, and their fearless dogs acting scared—could be linked to Sasquatch activity. The narrator recalls other suspicious incidents, like a military helicopter warning them while flying near the ranch, missing people along De Luz road, and a supposed DEA raid that seemed more like a cover for tracking something else. A conversation with their excavator, who was warned by a doctor about Sasquatch on a nearby property, and stories from workers about "monsters" at the border eating migrants, solidified their belief. Staying at This Cabin Was a Big MistakeIn the mid-1960s, a financially struggling family from Ely, Nevada, was offered the use of a friend's ramshackle cabin in the Great Basin near Baker, Nevada. The isolated, one-room cabin lacked electricity and running water, with minimal furnishings like plywood-covered bed frames and a makeshift dining table. Despite its condition, the family—parents and four daughters—enjoyed their stays, cherishing the wilderness, a nearby creek they dammed for a pool, and a playful badger that raced their car. They hiked to an abandoned garnet mine, though the garnets were small and rough. In 1971, after staying with their grandparents, the daughters were excited to return to the cabin. During the drive, they teased their mother about Bigfoot, prompted by a National Enquirer article, unaware of her unease. Upon arrival, they found the back door violently torn off and the interior littered with leaves and mud, which they attributed to careless hunters. They cleaned up and stayed, but their mother remained anxious, staying awake all night by the fire. A sudden wind gust during a light snowfall heightened the tension, flapping a plastic sheet covering the doorless entry. The family left the next day and never returned. Years later, in 2020, the now-elderly mother, bedridden with dementia, revealed to her daughter a terrifying incident from a previous cabin visit with her husband, when they were alone. Something large and heavy circled the cabin at night, trying doors and windows, causing intense fear. They fled at dawn, seeing a tall, shadowy figure zigzag through the trees. The mother's fear explained her anxiety during the 1971 trip, especially seeing the damaged cabin, yet she stayed to avoid disappointing her daughters. Years later, she and her husband found the cabin in worse condition, with both doors torn off and the heavy iron stove ripped out and discarded in a ditch, an act difficult to attribute to humans given the remote location and the stove's weight. Brothers Outrun BigfootIn 1976, three brothers—Mike, Harold, and Scott—hiked along Old William Penn Highway, a forested road, to meet girls in Garden City, Monroeville. Framed for a Bigfoot CrimeA former convict prohibited from using firearms, went bow hunting for deer in Ohio after a heavy snowfall. While tracking a wounded 14-point buck, he followed its trail with his brother-in-law's bloodhound, Lovebug, until the dog refused to proceed out of fear. Continuing alone, Bobby found where the buck had died, but it was gone, replaced by large, barefoot human-like footprints. He followed these tracks for hours, eventually discovering a thicket with the buck's remains, surrounded by various-sized footprints and a human skull. Realizing he was in what he believed to be a Bigfoot den, Bobby took a photo, grabbed the buck's head, and fled after hearing a roar. He reported the findings to authorities, who investigated and found more human remains. Bobby was detained for 12 days without charges, questioned repeatedly by federal agents who insisted he claim a bear took the deer. Eventually, he gave the “correct” answer to secure his release, but his buck's head was confiscated for hunting violations, and he lost his job. War of the SpeciesA photographer ventures into the Five Ponds Wilderness in upstate New York with friends who are hunting deer. While his friends hunt, he aims to capture wildlife and scenic shots with his new 1200mm zoom lens. After hours of hiking and photographing, he encounters an eerie silence in the forest, followed by mysterious footsteps. He discovers a small, fur-covered creature he initially mistakes for a human child under attack by large, wolf-like creatures. Firing his revolver, he fends off the attackers, only to face a massive, wolf-like humanoid. In a desperate struggle, he kills the creature, sustaining severe injuries, and rescues the small being, which he realizes is a young sasquatch.Returning to camp with the injured sasquatch, he faces another attack by wolf-like creatures and humanoid "wolfmen."
