In the final installment of the three-part series, Todd Ramsey shares his passion for audio and his excitement for the next generation of audio technology. As a consultant, Todd has had the opportunity to work with a variety of companies and products, including writing technical manuals for signal processors. He notes that this work has broadened his perspective and allowed him to see the deeper levels that some people go to achieve high-quality sound in the competition scene. Todd believes that it's important to get people excited about audio again, and one way to do that is by demonstrating the value of different audio systems. He emphasizes the need to avoid shopping within one's own pocketbook and to focus on demonstrating value instead. Todd also challenges stereotypes by noting that some of his best students have been females, who are sometimes underestimated in the field. Ultimately, for Todd, passion is what drives success in the audio world. He shares that his bucket list includes owning an E63 AMG W12 Mercedes, and if anyone knows of one, to contact him at Todd@ramseyconsultinggroup.com. In today's episode, you'll have to bear with us, because the first 5 minutes is just Jen trying to focus on answering AJ's question: What do you feel guilty about? And the result is absolutely hilarious. For the answer, you'll need to listen to the episode, because we don't want to spill the beans here, considering that Jen's husband doesn't know she was oversharing. Jokes aside, the question is actually relevant and ties into our topic today as we discuss another of God's promises. Today we're talking about the first two verses of Romans 8, about condemnation, sin, conviction, and Jen's secrets! At the end of the day, we still sin daily. And yet the promise of this incredible verse applies to the past, present and future sin. He admits they're cool looking on the outside, but finds them to be cheap on the inside. Dan enjoys a good beer or cigar, but is proud to say he hasn't touched a cigarette in at least 2 years. When he quit smoking, he was surprised to find his tastes had changed. He used to love drinking Coronas, but can't stand the taste now. Jumping off of the deep end can be scary but you have to take the chance regardless of if you are ready or not. The time you should jump is when you feel scared, This can be a sign from the universe. You do not want to stay in the same place all your life. The only thing that is standing between where you are and where you want to be is jumping. Stop waiting for the perfect time because life will always be complicated and you will never feel 100% ready. If you do not take the jump you will never know if you will sink or swim. Notice when you are trying to jump and you have a hard time because of dead or extra weight. Pay attention to that. This could be holding you back from the perfect landing. Learn from the jump and improve it for the next time. Learn:Which way the wind blowsWhat media wantsHow fast you need to jumpIf you need a running startHow fast you will landIf you will make a splashIt takes practice to perfect but you will never know what needs perfecting if you never take the initial jump.Click the link to join The Tea Party and sign up for email subscriptions linktr.ee/tafieastokes
Pop quiz: what’s the most powerful weapon you’ve got? Is it your education? Friends and family? A skill set? Not at all. Believe it or not, all you really need to passionately run after that goal that you have is your own indescribable brain. But you’ve got to know how to use it first. This time on Elevate Others: The Movement, Mario gets into the mindset you need to start manifesting what you want, including what you need to know about the way beliefs are formed internally (as well as why believing in yourself is mandatory), the reasons why waiting for an opportunity is a waste of time, and the amazing potential you unlock in yourself when you stop listening and comparing yourself to the external world. Tune in to center your focus and figure out what it takes to move powerfully in the right direction. What You’ll Learn Which tools you already have at your disposal to bring the things you dream about into being How to keep on track towards each goal in sequence and avoid stalling out or getting distracted What you can do right now to clear up what is true and what is false in your brain and in your life And much more! Favorite Quote “I changed my mindset and I realized that once I embraced that struggle, there was nothing that was going to stop me from finding that excitement again. When I embraced it, I knew that if I stayed on that path, if I stayed towards my destination, if I truly just kept fighting and knocking out all of the obstacles, that struggle was going to turn into something fantastic. And it did - look where it took me. Look where I am right now.” - Mario Arace Connect with Mario Arace: marioarace.com Facebook Instagram Enjoyed the Podcast? Today’s Guest After two and a half years of interviews and solo shows on this podcast, I'm super excited to introduce a new format. You may know Jo Casey from previous episodes: I interviewed her for episodes 21 and 121 (no, we didn't plan the numbering there...but I like it!), and Jo interviewed me for episodes 31 and 115. Plus, I've been on her podcast twice, first talking about social media http://www.jocasey.com/hollyworton/ and later talking about coaching http://www.jocasey.com/whp-27-combine-coaching-expertise/. So you can see that we have loads to talk about! I wanted to partner up with someone this year to do some co-hosted episodes, and we decided we'd make a great match. The idea is to have a conversation (much like my regular episodes) around a single topic each time. Today, we talk about whether business mindset is actually important, or whether it's just an excuse not to take action. We explore how to get things done in your business more easily, in a way that works for you, including practical action tactics that you can try. I'd love to hear what you think of this format! Please comment and let me know. Also, we've got a whole list of topics that we want to discuss on this show, but please drop us a note in the comments and let us know what you'd like to hear us talking about. Thanks! About Jo Casey Jo Casey is a certified life coach, trainer and coach mentor. She’s British, slightly nerdy and allergic to the marketing bullsh*t in the coaching industry. Founder of jocasey.com, podcaster, speaker, and writer for Coaching Blueprint, Mind Body Green and Tiny Buddha. Things that make me scream with glee: Freshly washed bed linen, watching my husband get all 'handy' around the place (DIY I mean), yellow wedge sandals, fabric stores, the sound of my kids giggling, Jesus Christ Superstar the musical. Spirit Animal: Lesley Knope Why you should listen to me about coaching: I've been training, coaching and mentoring coaches for 14 years and I built my own coaching and training business after a lot of initial trial and error. I've been where you are now and I love showing coaches like you how to pull out all of the things that will make your business stand out and attract the right clients to you, without wasting a lot of time on useless and expensive shiny objects. Listen to this episode What You’ll Learn Which of the two camps is right: mindset or action How to make sure you're taking the right actions and not doing busy work What you can do if you're the kind of person who has problems with action taking What to do if “feel the fear and do it anyway” doesn't work for you What is “parts work” and how it can help you How to make action taking easier and less painful Why forcing yourself to take action isn't always the answer to getting things done How to integrate the concept of the Mindset/Action spiral staircase in your business It would make me so happy if you could take a minute and share this with other women entrepreneurs on Twitter. Sharon Fast is exactly UNLIKE any dietitian and that's why I've invited her back on the Fit and Vibrant You Podcast (be sure to check out the Episode 2 when we talked about turning your body into a fat burning machine!) Sharon's back to talk about supplements. I received this question from one of our listeners:"I am curious about supplements, especially regarding calcium as my dairy intake has been reduced so much." and knew that if one person is curious about supplements, many people are as well! There's so much nutrition information out there- and conflicting information- it can be so confusing! In This Episode of the Fit and Vibrant You Podcast, You'll Learn: Which nutrients you could be lacking... and where to find them. How to tell if could be deficient in certain nutrients (and what to do about it!) What actually is a supplement... let's go back to basics! For show notes go to www.tanjashaw.com/31
