Sylvester Chauke, is what I define as a maverick in the brand, marketing and communications world globally. Chauke has led one of the biggest agencies that has come out of the African Continent. As the founder of DNA Brand Architects, the agency has created a much-needed voice in the PR landscape in Africa. DNA boasts an impressive haul of accolades, including ICCO World's Best, PRISM Large PR Agency of the Year (2021, 2022, and 2023), IABC Best of the Best, and a spot on Adweek's Top 100 Fastest GrowingAgencies in the World in 2023. Sylvester's vision continues to challenge the industry with bold, culturally resonant storytelling. With a trophy shelf that's anything but bland, Sylvester has been named CNBC All Africa Young Business Leader of the Year and serves on several influential boards, including the World Economic Forum Global Shapers Advisory Council, theUniversity of Johannesburg Advisory Council, and the SA State Theatre. He's a TEDspeaker and authored the unapologetically inspiring Stand Against Bland.Driven by a fiery passion for creativity and transformation, Sylvester championsAfrican excellence—not as a distant dream but as a dynamic, living reality. For him, creativity is more than an art; it's a force that shapes how we see the world and howAfrica tells its story to the world.I hope the interview is helpful and something you can enjoy!

Poems by and biographies of inmates of the Dachau Concentration Camp, testimonies to the persistence of the humanity and creativity of the individual in the face of extreme suffering. The concentration camp at Dachau was the first established by the Nazis, opened shortly after Hitler came to power in 1933. It first held political prisoners, but later also forced laborers, Soviet POWs, Jews, and other "undesirables." More than 30,000 deaths were documented there, with many more unrecorded. In the midst of the horror, some inmates turned to poetry to provide comfort, to preserve their sense of humanity, or to document their experiences. Some were or would later become established poets; others were prominent politicians or theologians; still others were ordinary men and women. My Shadow in Dachau: Poems (Camden House, 2014) contains 68 poems by 32 inmates of Dachau, in 10 different original languages and facing-page English translation, along with short biographies. A foreword by Walter Jens and an introduction by Dorothea Heiser from the original German edition are joined here by a foreword by Stuart Taberner of theUniversity of Leeds. All the poems, having arisen in the experience or memory of extreme human suffering, are testimonies to the persistence of the humanity and creativity of the individual. They are also a warning not to forget the darkest chapter of history and a challenge to the future not to allow it to be repeated. Dorothea Heiser holds an MA from the University of Freiburg. "Cities are complex beings that need to live and breathe," so how do we best create plans with the understanding that they will continuously need to be amended? How do we enable what we want to see without restricting what we fear, while also providing certainty to residents and the public interest? What is the optimal balance between assessment and negotiation versus setting things in stone? Ranon also discusses the delicate balance of involving communities in the planning process to gather their perspectives and engagement, all while ensuring an efficient decision-making process to keep things moving forward. An extended treatment of this topic by Rabbi Broyde in a groundbreaking essay can be found here “For everything there is a season, and a time for every object of desire under the heavens. … A time to be silent and a time to speak. A time to love and a time to hate.A time for war and a time for peace” (Koheles-3:1 and 3:7-8).….. Indeed, there is a time to speak of war and of peace and a time when political and military considerations augur for silence…. determination of the halakhic propriety of any Israeli incursion is contingent both upon accurate analysis of points of fact as well as resolution of questions of Jewish law. Nevertheless, it is beyond dispute—both as a matter of fact and as a matter of Halakhah—that, once hostilities have commenced, Israel must prevail because the State of Israel cannot afford the luxury of losing a war. Military defeat would assuredly entail the loss of a countless number of Jewish lives. When such threat looms, military action assumes the guise of a “Milchemes Mitzvah” “to deliver Israel from the enemy”.Under such circumstances any action—indeed any word—that gives support to the enemy is an action that endangers Jewish lives…” Rabbi J.David Bleich Contemporary Halachic Problems Volume 3-Part 2-Chapter 11 The Issur Ben Tzvi Hersh Tshuvos and Poskim Shiur was honored to present  one of the leading Jewish scholars of our day Rabbi Michael J.Broyde  professor of law at Emory University School of Law  senior fellow and projects director  at the Center for the Study of Law and Religion who at this dark difficult time in our history discussed through a Torah and secular lens Milchemes Mitzvah The Intersections of Jewish Law, International Law and The Laws of War Rabbi Michael J. “ The reasoning of AI is unlikely to take the place of district court judges – those trial court judges who make factual determination based on the demeanor of the witnesses and so many more visible cues. So too, they are unlikely to replace Supreme Court judges, since much of the Justices do is decide when they ought to change the rules and replace one rule of interpretation with another – delegating this decision to a computer is no different than delegating the role of Congress to AI and is unlikely. On the other hand, the strengths of AI reasoning could take the place of United States Court of Appeals judges, who are (1) rigidly bound by precedent, (2) functionally interchangeable with each other, (3) randomly assigned to cases, (4) sit in panels, and (5) do almost all their work based on a written record. These five characteristics are more easily AI supplanted given the current state of technology that either policy decisions about the law ought to be or credibility determinations .” Michael Broyde The Issur Ben Tzvi Hersh Tshuvos and Poskim Shiur was honored to present a conversation with one of the leading Jewish scholars of our day Rabbi Michael J.Broyde  professor of law at Emory University School of Law  senior fellow and projects director  at the Center for the Study of Law and Religion Using AI for Psak Halacha Ramifications and Recriminations Plus-Results of a Relevant Test Case Rabbi Michael J.
