A few weeks after sharing her testimony of witchcraft and deliverance, Tailah returned, this time bringing her sister Lexi and husband Jericho to Nashville. What unfolded wasn't just a family reunion, but a descent into the supernatural. Lexi revealed her chilling Dogman encounter near a Tennessee cemetery, while Jericho shared a terrifying night when chanting witches appeared outside their home. The four of them connect the dots between witchcraft, the demonic, and unseen realms, one truth cuts through the chaos; some doors, once opened, don't easily close. The New England Patriots are back on top. After a 25-16 victory over the New Orleans Saints, MTP Boston hosts Michael Marcangelo and Rayshawn Buchanan dive deep into the Patriots’ return to first place in the AFC East and what it means for the rest of the 2025 NFL season. We with a heated discussion on the officiating controversy that overshadowed the win. Michael and Rayshawn call out several questionable pass interference calls that swung momentum and fueled speculation about whether sports betting and officiating integrity are becoming a real issue for the NFL. They debate whether referees are being influenced by league partnerships with betting sponsors and discuss the league’s inconsistent enforcement of penalties and discipline for players and officials. Next, the hosts turn to Drake Maye’s continued development under Mike Vrabel and Josh McDaniels. Maye delivered another sharp, composed performance — spreading the ball across multiple receivers, showcasing pocket awareness, and making the right reads at the right times. Rayshawn calls it Maye’s “most complete game as a pro,” while Mike highlights his leadership and poise late in drives. The offense finally looks balanced, with Maye’s growing chemistry with Stefon Diggs, Demario Douglas, Kayshon Boutte and Hunter Henry giving the team multiple options in the passing game. Then comes the backfield debate. TreVeyon Henderson’s performance has been a bright spot, but questions remain about whether he’s ready to be a true workhorse back. Should the Patriots stay patient or explore trade options before the deadline? Rayshawn and Mike weigh in on potential moves; including trading Rhamondre Stevenson for Breece Hall or a defensive difference-maker like Chase Young. Rayshawn doubts the Jets would ever deal Hall to New England, but both agree the team is closer than anyone expected to legitimate contention.   The conversation expands to playoff potential, with both hosts projecting that New England can reach 11 or even 12 wins if the team stays disciplined and avoids self-inflicted mistakes. They praise Vrabel’s influence on the defense, Christian Gonzalez’s return to form, and the leadership shift inside the locker room. The Patriots finally feel relevant again in the AFC playoff picture; but can they sustain it? Michael and Rayshawn also discuss NFL Week 6 predictions around the league, including upcoming matchups like Titans vs. Patriots, Rams vs. Jaguars, and Chiefs vs. Raiders. They react to the Titans’ recent coaching shake-up, preview the Patriots’ upcoming trip to Nashville, and wonder whether Vrabel’s revenge game will live up to the hype. Billy Joel, John Fogerty, Bassist David Santos Kills Live on Game Changers With Vicki Abelson I was so looking forward to catching up with bassist David Santos after almost 40 years. Insane in itself! The sit-down stunningly exceeded my expectations. What crazy fun! David regaled us with story after story… starting with gigging for me on Bleecker Street, doing weddings, The Ringo AllStar Band, sans Ringo, with Billy Preston, Lou Gramm, Mark Farner, Felix Cavaliere, Liberty DeVito, Mark Rivera, Randy Bachman, and a backup singer named Wendy Moten who would change and share his life. They're a rare rock n' roll romance success story, today, 30+ years later. David took us through his 3ish years with Billy Joel, how he got the gig, and how he lost it, 13 years with John Fogerty, how he got it and then lost it, Melissa Etheridge, 7 years, how it got it and lost it, Fleetwood Mac, 1 day, how he got it, lost it, 5 yrs with Crosby, Stills, & Nash, getting it, losing it - does there seem to be a pattern here... yup, hysterically summed up each time. Sure, it's funny now, in retrospect, as David has great perspective, self-awareness, good humor, and humility. He's amassed wisdom to add to his formidable talent, perseverance, and ambition. And he always lands bass up! Unlike me, who literally did an unintended mic drop. As was pointed out, this meaty conversation had comedy, drama, romance, intrigue, horror, heart, and life lessons galore. I could have talked to David all night and still have wanted more. And more, I'll get. We have a face-to-face reunion in the reals with Wendy and Snuffy in Nashville coming up. Can you imagine the music those three could make? Don't know if that's on the menu, but do know we'll be seeing Wendy at the Grand Ole Opry, and sharing great local eats! What a way to ring in my next year! Music Makers and Soul Shakers Podcast with Steve Dawson

Steel guitarist and country music historian Pete Finney joins me on the show this week.I got to know Pete's playing when I'd go and see Chris' Scruggs' band The Stone Fox Five out in the parking lot of the East Nashville Legion during Covid. They'd put on a well-distanced weekly show that was my only live music for a couple of years! I loved Pete's soulful playing and got to learn more about his interesting history, mostly on the pedal steel guitar, playing for all kinds of country legends - artists like Reba McIntyre, The Judds, Vince Gill, The Chicks, The Monkees and lots more. Pete has a unique style, and while he has clearly absorbed the classic country sounds, he doesn't sound like anyone else. Pete's path from the DC area playing almost every night in country bars, to Austin to play with Doug Sahm, to his move to Nashville in the 80's is an interesting one, and Pete has carved out an incredible career in that time. Lately, Pete has also taken on the role of historian, and had a big hand in producing the Country Music Hall Of Fame's “Dylan, Cash and The Nashville Cats” exhibit, which was one of the best collections of 60's and 70's country music stories, exhibits and paraphernalia ever put on display. Pete is a well loved Nashville icon and plays around town with many different artists. He has no website or social media, so you'll have to just keep your ear to the ground about where to see himj play if you're in Nashville, but don't miss your chance if you get it!Enjoy my conversation with Pete Finney. This season is brought to you by our main sponsors Larivée Guitars, Audeze, Izotope, FabFilter, and Chase Bliss. We also talk about how the landscape of fiddling has been transformed by fiddle camps and music schools like Berklee, where Darol taught and first met several of the players on this record. We also discuss the development of rhythmic accompaniment on the fiddle, which was still relatively new in the 1990s, how the pandemic inspired a joyful collaborative project that kicked this new record off, how Darol's move to Nashville connected him to a wider community of fiddlers and why 'Diary of a Fiddler 2' feels like the clearest expression of any musical legacy he might leave.Any opportunity to talk to Darol is a treat and this one was no exception. Recorded live in front of a sold out crowd at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville on September 18, 2025, Kacey Musgraves and pioneering mycologist Paul Stamets dive deep into the biology, evolution, and mental health potential of psilocybin. From its ancient ritual roots to its emerging role in modern therapy, their conversation reveals how this once-taboo organism is transforming our understanding of consciousness, creativity, and healing. Along the way, they wander through unexpected terrain—spirituality, pandemics, AI, bees, dogs on mushrooms, and more—in a mind-expanding exploration of the heart of the woods.

It's Monday, October 13th, A.D. 2025. This is The Worldview in 5 Minutes heard on 140 radio stations and at www.TheWorldview.com.  I'm Adam McManus. (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Adam McManus Islamic terrorists in Congo killed 5 gold miners The Islamic Allied Democratic Forces continue to cause death and destruction in the eastern part of the Democratic Republic of Congo, reports International Christian Concern. Last Tuesday morning, October 7th, they launched the deadly attack on Rizerie village, located in the predominantly Christian Lubero territory in North Kivu Province.  The Muslim attackers arrived while people were working in a gold mining site. They killed five civilians who were actively mining gold at the time.  A witness said, “The people who were killed were just trying to work so they could earn a living. They woke up early that morning, hoping to provide for their families. Then the rebels came out of nowhere and brutally ended their lives. It was horrifying — gunshots, screaming, and people running in every direction. Those men did not deserve to die like that.”  According to Open Doors, Congo is the 35th most dangerous country worldwide for Christians. Please pray for the safety of our brothers and sisters in Christ in Congo, Africa. Trump insists on paying soldiers in midst of gov't shutdown President Donald Trump is implementing a temporary solution to minimize the pain inflicted on American servicemen during the Democrat-induced government shutdown, reports TheBlaze. On Truth Social, the President wrote, "I am using my authority, as Commander-in-Chief, to direct our Secretary of War, Pete Hegseth, to use all available funds to get our Troops PAID on October 15th. We have identified funds to do this.” Democrats allowed government funding to lapse past the September 30 deadline, refusing to pass the Republican-led continuing resolution. Although spending fights have turned partisan in the past, Republicans simply proposed a clean 90-page Continuing Resolution that kept funding levels at the same rates that Democrats voted for in the past. Their bill had no partisan line items, with the only anomaly being a bipartisan boost in security funding for politicians following Charlie Kirk's assassination. On the other hand, Democrats proposed a $1.5 trillion funding bill that is chock-full of ideological provisions aimed at reversing the legislative accomplishments Republicans secured with the One Big Beautiful Bill Act. Democrats have also attempted to make the spending fight about re-negotiating Obama-era health care subsidies, although they do not expire until the end of the year. 16 killed in explosion at TN military explosives manufacturer A "devastating" blast at a Tennessee military explosives manufacturing plant at 7:48am on Friday is believed to have killed 16 people, reports ABC News. Humphreys County Sheriff Chris Davis spoke at a press conference on Saturday. DAVIS:  “We have notified all 16 families of those people that we feel were involved in this tragedy.” The explosion occurred at Accurate Energetic Systems in McEwen, located about 50 miles west of Nashville. DAVIS: “This is probably one of the most devastating sites I think I've been on in my career.” Help Voddie Baucham's widow and 9 children The Christian community continues to mourn the unexpected death on September 25th of Dr. Voddie Baucham, a towering figure in Evangelical circles. Known for his defense of Biblical truth, Baucham, a pastor, author, and theologian, left a legacy of family, faith, and opposing "woke" ideologies in the church. He wrote the book Fault Lines: The Social Justice Movement and Evangelicalism's Looming Catastrophe. Listen to this sermon excerpt about the power of the Gospel. BAUCHAM: “We're justified, and we're adopted into the family of God. And we're sanctified, and as His children, we begin to bear the family resemblance. And we're further sanctified throughout this life by the very same Gospel that saves us, until one day when it's all said and done, we're not just saved from the penalty of sin. We're not just saved from the power of sin, but one day, we're glorified and saved from the very presence of sin. That's the Gospel that we preach. That's the Gospel that we need!” Romans 8:2 says, “For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set you free from the law of sin and death.” And here's a soundbite where the late Voddie Baucham shared his last two wishes. BAUCHAM: “I've come to a place in my life where there's just a few things that I asked God for, and one of them that I pray for regularly is that God would allow me to spend my last day on this Earth with my wife, so that I can look her in the face and tell her that I was faithful to her to the day they put me in the ground. “And another thing that I asked for is that I have raised my children in such a way that, after I'm done scratching and clawing and fighting for the cause of the Kingdom [of God], and after I have reached out as far as I could possibly go for the sake of Christ, that I will have raised my children in such a way that rather than pursue the things of this world, they would climb over me and pick up where I left off and go further and further and further than I could ever imagine, or that I could ever have gone in and of myself. “That's what I want. More than anything else in this world. That's what I want.” If you would like to help contribute toward the $2,000,000 goal to provide for his widow, Bridget, and their 9 children, 7 of whom are still under her roof, click on the special GiveSendGo link in our transcript today at www.TheWorldview.com.   So far, as of Saturday night, 5,349 people have contributed $824,650. Skeleton-wearing amulet may change history of Christianity And finally, an 1,800-year-old silver amulet discovered buried in a Frankfurt, Germany grave, still next to the chin of the man who wore it, has 18 lines of text written in Latin on just 1.37 inches of silver foil. That could be enough to rewrite the known history of Christianity in the Roman Empire, reports PopularMechanics.com. The amulet—and the inscription—are the oldest evidence of Christianity found north of the Alps. Every other link to reliable evidence of Christian life in the northern Alpine area of the Roman Empire is at least 50 years younger, all coming from the fourth century A.D. The amulet, found in a grave dating between 230 and 270 A.D., is now known as “The Frankfurt Inscription.” In a translated statement, Ina Hartwig, Frankfurt's head of culture and science, said, “This extraordinary find affects many areas of research and will keep science busy for a long time. This applies to archaeology as well as to religious studies, philology, and anthropology. Such a significant find here in Frankfurt is truly something extraordinary.” The mostly translated amulet says, “Holy, holy, holy! In the name of Jesus Christ, Son of God! The Lord of the World resists with [strength] This rescue device(?) protects the person who surrenders to the will of the Lord Jesus Christ, God's Son, since before Jesus Christ all knees bow: the heavenly ones, the earthly and the underground, and every tongue confess to Jesus Christ.” In Philippians 2:10-11, the Apostle Paul wrote, “At the name of Jesus, every knee should bow, in Heaven and on Earth and under the Earth, and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.” Close And that's The Worldview on this Monday, October 13th, in the year of our Lord 2025. Follow us on X or subscribe for free by Spotify, Amazon Music, or by iTunes or email to our unique Christian newscast at www.TheWorldview.com.  I'm Adam McManus (Adam@TheWorldview.com).
