Josh Sigurdson talks with Chris Horlacher, the CEO of Equibit which was one of the premier companies in the 2010s in the crypto space. Chris is currently taking part in major lawsuits exposing the government for gangstalking. He's a "targeted individual." Not someone hearing voices but someone who has faced what the Stasi called "Zersetzung." Over the years it became apparent to Chris that certain people working within his company were government agents collecting information and deep-sixing his work. They targeted his character, his money and all of this was found out by Chris who in return gathered detailed evidence of the spies within his company. Chris is currently suing individuals as well as the Canadian government over this intrusion by CSIS and has an important "Take Action" website for the Equibit lawsuit. From financial sabotage to character assassination, one must remember that the term "Targeted Individual" has many flavors and in this case is meant to "decompose the individual." There was likely more than one spy involved in this case and Chris has laid traps for the spies. In this video, he breaks down what Equibit was, the receipts he has on CSIS and CIA spying on the company, the abuse he faced and the major lawsuits he's involved in currently. These lawsuits can set a precedent for future people dealing with "gangstalking" or "Zersetzung." Go take action on the site and stay tuned for more from WAM! Send us Fan MailOn this episode, Andrew and Iain sit down with Stephanie McLarty, Head of Sustainability at Quantum Lifecycle, for a conversation about trash, plastic, and the e-waste quietly piling up in junk drawers everywhere.Stephanie brings a rare vantage point: she works at the intersection of consumer habits and the industrial reality of what happens after a device gets tossed in a drawer and forgotten. The conversation moves from the personal - the old phones and chargers we all hoard without a plan - to the systemic, touching on plastic, circularity, and what responsible end-of-life management for electronics actually looks like at scale. It's a grounded, honest look at a problem most of us contribute to and few of us think about past the point of closing the drawer. Thanks for tuning in to The Circular Future. Your Next Best Step: Helping Small Business owners build a plan for a brighter future
We all love a good plan. The calendar is full, the flights are booked, the strategy is mapped out, and everything feels like it's finally coming together. Then life reminds us of one unavoidable truth: the unexpected happens. In this episode, I share a personal story about having to cancel an important business event after weeks of preparation because life and business demanded my attention somewhere else. It wasn't the decision I wanted to make, but it became a powerful reminder that leadership isn't about controlling every outcome. It's about responding well when circumstances change. Over the years, I've helped business owners navigate some of the hardest moments they'll ever face, from the uncertainty of COVID to devastating fires, financial downturns, unexpected loss, and personal crises. One thing has become incredibly clear: businesses don't survive because leaders can predict every challenge. They survive because leaders build enough margin to respond when those challenges arrive. In this episode, I'm sharing the five-step framework I use with my clients whenever the unexpected happens. It's a practical way to move from panic to purposeful action, make better decisions under pressure, and keep leading with confidence even when you don't have every answer. Because change is inevitable. Your response is what defines your leadership. Key Takeaways: • Change Is Not the Enemy - No amount of planning can eliminate uncertainty. Great leaders accept that change is part of building a business and learn how to adapt instead of resist it. • Margin Creates Resilience - Financial reserves, extra time, strong systems, trusted relationships, and emotional capacity all create the flexibility leaders need when plans suddenly change. • Your Team Takes Their Cue from You - You don't have to pretend everything is perfect. But your team needs to know someone is calmly leading through the uncertainty. • Clarity Comes Through Action - Waiting until you have every answer often keeps you stuck. Forward movement creates clarity, confidence, and momentum. Ask yourself: Where does my business need more margin? Is it financial? Operational? Leadership? Time? Systems? Or simply having someone in your corner who can help you think clearly when things don't go according to plan? Building resilience before you need it is one of the greatest investments you can make as a leader.
How can leaders move forward when pressure is high and the way is not clear? Blind adventurer Hiro Iwamoto and his 'seeing eye Doug" guide Doug Smith sailed across the Pacific in 55 days, from San Diego to Fukushima. The two share key strategies for leaders in taking action despite uncertainty and what's needed to pick the right partners to make impossible projects a reality. Hiro also shares how he stays calm in moments of extreme adversity, like when whale sank his boat during an earlier attempt leaving him in a life raft for 11 hours amid five-metre waves. Key takeaways: Courage means moving forward without waiting for 100% information. Find people who can solve problems, not just point them out How thinking in the present can prevent panic and enable decision-making Hiro is an adventurer, keynote speaker and the first totally blind person to sail across the Pacific. Doug had no previous sailing experience but became Hiro's crewmate and navigator for that extraordinary trip. Their lessons on crisis leadership, teamwork, overcoming fear and innovation can motivate any leader during difficult moments. There's a hidden reason many leaders stay stuck longer than necessary. It's not lack of vision. It's not lack of prayer.Sometimes it's lack of agreement. In this episode of The Estherpreneur Podcast, I explore why delays in life and business aren't always about God preparing us—they're sometimes about our reluctance to say yes.Drawing from biblical examples and personal leadership experience, I unpack how agreement activates movement and why indecision can quietly stall progress. If you're a Christian entrepreneur wrestling with a decision you've been postponing, this episode will challenge the way you think about timing, obedience, and partnership with God.The Estherpreneur Podcast is for CEOs, founders, and faith-driven entrepreneurs who are growing—but something feels misaligned. It is really fucking hard to change your habits and your actions while believing everything you currently believe about yourself. It's more effective in the long run to shift your ideas about your identity first, and allow the actions that align with that identity to support this identity shift. To live “like” the person you want to be, you first have to recognize your capability to do so. If I want to complete a marathon, I have to become the type of person that prioritizes running. If I want to learn to swim, I have to be someone who is willing to put on a bathing suit and get in the water. I can't keep thinking of myself as some ineffective, incompetent failure if I don't want to feel like an ineffective, incompetent failure. I have to start thinking of myself as capable, and competent, and effective; and I really have to do my best to believe it. The more I am able to align myself with that identity, the easier it is to show up and do the things other people who identify the same way do. It's easier to think of these new behaviors as a lifestyle choice. Not a habit you're trying to do more of. If I say, I'm trying to eat less meat, it is less convincing to myself than when I say, I'm no longer eating meat. Or even more so, if I can call myself a vegetarian. When I leaned fully into the vegetarian identity, it was easier for me to know what choices did and didn't fit with that. In this podcast: -USTL President Philip Blumel argues that the advanced age of many members of Congress reflects a broader problem of entrenched incumbency rather than simply longevity, and presents term limits as the solution. -The show examines recent deaths, health concerns, and public examples of cognitive and physical decline among members of Congress while comparing the age profile of Congress with other Western democracies. -This podcast features an extended segment from Jon Stewart's The Daily Show, where Stewart uses humor and satire to criticize Congress's age profile and argues that the political system rewards incumbency over performance. -The show concludes by encouraging citizen engagement, using a California local term limits referendum as an example of how informed voters defeat efforts to weaken existing limits, and urges listeners to support the broader term limits movement. Productive Not Busy- Do Life and Business Confident Focused and with a Plan
Stop Waiting: How to Take Action and Create OpportunitiesHave you ever found yourself saying, "I'll do it when things get better"? Maybe it's about starting a business, having that difficult conversation, or launching a new project. This mindset, although it seems logical, could be one of the biggest lies we tell ourselves. In this post, we'll explore why waiting for the perfect moment can hold you back and how taking action now can lead to success. ### Understanding the Myth of the Perfect TimeMany of us believe that we need to be completely ready before we take the next step. We convince ourselves that one more class, one more book, or one more certification will eliminate all uncertainties. But the truth is, the perfect time doesn't exist. Life is constantly moving, and opportunities don't pause for our readiness. When faced with a negotiation or a tough conversation, waiting for confidence to catch up will only lead to missed opportunities. Instead, recognize that action precedes confidence. Think about learning to ride a bike: you didn't wait until you felt confident; you got on the bike, wobbled, and fell a few times. Over time, your confidence grew alongside your experience.### The Cost of WaitingWaiting can feel safe, but it comes at a cost. For every day you postpone that conversation or delay creating content, someone else is stepping up and seizing the opportunity. Consider this: each week you hesitate to build your business, another entrepreneur might be capturing the clients you hope to work with. It's essential to challenge yourself. Ask: "What decision have I been postponing because I'm waiting to feel ready?" Acknowledging that uncertainty never fully disappears is key. Instead of allowing it to paralyze you, focus on becoming stronger than your fear.### The Power of WillingnessThe most successful individuals didn't wait for permission or the perfect time; they gave themselves permission to act. They learned to move forward even when fear was present. The challenge is to identify one thing you've been waiting to do—make that phone call, schedule that meeting, or start that project. Take a step today, not tomorrow. Remember, opportunities won't announce their arrival; they will simply fade away if you don't act. ### Taking Action: Your Next StepsHere's your challenge: identify the one thing you've been postponing. Is it a tough conversation, launching a project, or pursuing a new career? Whatever it is, commit to taking one action today that will bring you closer to your goal. Remember, productive people don't wait for opportunities; they prepare, act, and grow while others are still waiting. ### Key Takeaways- The perfect time to act doesn't exist; waiting holds you back.- Confidence is built through action, not the other way around.- Identify decisions you've been postponing and take action today.- Don't wait for permission; give yourself the go-ahead to pursue your goals.### Frequently Asked Questions**Why is waiting for the perfect time detrimental?** Waiting for the perfect moment can lead to missed opportunities, as life continues to move forward regardless of your readiness.**How can I overcome my fear of taking action?** Recognize that uncertainty never fully disappears. Focus on taking small steps and building your confidence through experience.**What should I do if I feel overwhelmed?** Break your goals into smaller, manageable tasks and tackle them one at a time. This helps reduce overwhelm and fosters progress.**Can taking action really lead to success?** Yes, taking action is often the catalyst for success. It allows you to learn, adapt, and seize opportunities as they arise.Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/productive-not-busy-podcast-with-wayne-weathersby--6261465/support. Have you ever told yourself a story about what you're not cut out for? Gaby Rossi did. At 22, she decided leadership wasn't for her, and she repeated it so often that when a leadership role opened on her own team, nobody even told her. They hired someone else. Her boss's explanation stopped her cold: " You said you didn't want it."In this episode of No Woman Left Behind, Gaby, a supply chain leader at Avery Dennison, shares how she rewrote that story. She talks about the TED Talk that cracked her narrative open, the day she walked into her leaders' offices and said "I'm changing my mind," and the painfully honest 360 feedback (a 2.3 out of 5) that a mentor taught her to read as a blueprint to success instead of a verdict. You'll hear:How the story you repeat about yourself can quietly close doorsWhy harsh feedback might be the clearest roadmap you'll ever getWhat changes when you stop attaching your worth to the tasks you do (Gaby calls it "letting go of the clicks")Why staying visible to your leaders matters as much as doing the workIf you've been waiting to be noticed, this conversation will show you what becomes possible when you say what you want out loud.Gabrielle Rossi LinkedInReady to make your impact visible, recognized, and rewarded?Use the Free Impact Clarity AI tool to turn your accomplishments into clear language that communicates your results, business impact, and leadership value.Ready for personalized support? Mike traces his path from an early astral projection experience at 12, through a "germ theory" awakening from Dr. Bear Lando, to co-founding Qortal as a fully open-source, node-to-node alternative to the World Wide Web. He and Oto unpack the philosophy behind "sovereignty taxes," the difference between legal and possession-based ownership, and why cognitive sovereignty matters as AI use grows. Mike then walks through how Qortal actually works — minting, QDN, the CORT coin, the app ecosystem (QTube, Qmail, QShare, and more) — before showing how he used AI agents (including his own trained assistant, Merlin) to build Terrain TV, a free, AI-curated health-freedom video platform with 46,000+ videos.Chapters / Timestamps (Shifted +59s to account for the new intro at the top of the episode)00:00 – Trailer 00:59 – Intro & Catching Up with DJ Mike Winner 02:59 – The Red Pill Moment: Astral Projection & "The Creature from Jekyll Island" 05:59 – Germ Theory, Chronic Illness & the Allopathic Debt System 07:59 – From Hollywood to Alpha Vedic: Finding His Path 09:59 – The Art of Inquiry: Trusting Truth Within & Daily Meditation 11:59 – Dependency, the Sovereignty Tax & the Entrepreneur's Dilemma 13:59 – AI as an Ancient Technology & the Convergence Point 14:59 – Techno Bros, Ownership vs. the Rental Economy 17:59 – The Myth of Prometheus & Natural Law 19:59 – Crossing the Bridge: Technology as "Techne" 23:59 – Why Big Tech Isn't Censoring Like It Used To 25:59 – The Sovereign Stack: Decoupling Step by Step 28:59 – The Danger of "Purity Spiraling" & What Is a Luddite? 32:59 – Moving Into a Creator-Based Economy 33:59 – Legal Ownership vs. Possession-Based Ownership & Cognitive Sovereignty 36:59 – What Is Qortal? Sometimes the greatest teachers come with four legs.In this deeply personal episode, Janell shares the story she's been asked to tell for years—the journey of her beloved Goldendoodle, Badger. After receiving a devastating melanoma diagnosis and being told he had just five to six months to live, Janell and Justin found themselves navigating impossible decisions, balancing conventional veterinary medicine with holistic support, and learning what it truly means to live with hope in the face of uncertainty.More than three years later, Badger is celebrating his 14th birthday. This episode isn't about promising outcomes or offering medical advice. It's about what this journey taught Janell about healing, resilience, presence, and the incredible wisdom our animals often bring into our lives. In this episode:• How Badger's cancer was first discovered• The treatment decisions they made and why• Why they chose to integrate conventional and holistic care• The daily practices they've used to support his health• The mindset shift that changed everything• Why you can accept a diagnosis without accepting a prognosis• The lessons this journey continues to teach about gratitude, hope, and living in the presentWhether you've experienced a difficult diagnosis, loved someone through illness, or simply understand the bond we share with our pets, this conversation is ultimately about something much bigger than cancer. It's about how we choose to show up for the people—and animals—we love.Thank you for celebrating Badger's journey with us.As always...Have Faith & Take Action.
What does it take to go from spending 18 months chasing your first commercial real estate deal to raising more than $12 million in private capital and participating in over 40 syndications? In this episode, Trevor Thompson shares the lessons behind his seven-and-a-half-year journey from passive investor to active sponsor and Vice President of Investor Engagement at Massive Capital. Trevor reveals how he raised $380,000 in just five days on his first capital raise, why commercial real estate is a team sport, and how focusing on his strengths in relationships and investor engagement helped accelerate his growth. He also discusses losing $75,000 on his first GP deal, the importance of choosing the right sponsors and partners, why investors must know, like, and trust you before they invest, and the critical shift from raising capital to attracting capital. Whether you're working toward your first deal or looking to grow your investor network, this episode delivers practical lessons on relationships, resilience, credibility, and building lasting success in commercial real estate.5 Key Takeaways1. Commercial Real Estate Is a Team Sport Trevor explains why investors and entrepreneurs don't need to master every aspect of commercial real estate themselves. Identifying your strengths, finding experienced partners, and becoming part of the right community can help you move forward without trying to do everything alone.2. Focus on Attracting Capital, Not Chasing It One of Trevor's biggest mindset shifts was moving from “raising capital” to “attracting capital.” He explains why desperation can push investors away and why consistently educating, helping, and building relationships creates stronger opportunities over time.3. Investors Must Know, Like, and Trust You First Trevor shares examples of investors who took anywhere from 10 minutes to three years before investing. His experiences demonstrate why every investor requires a different approach and why long-term relationships, education, referrals, and consistent follow-up matter.4. Failure Can Become Valuable Experience After losing $75,000 on his first GP deal and later walking away from another deal after losing $68,000, Trevor explains how setbacks can provide critical lessons, strengthen credibility, and help investors and operators make better decisions in the future.5. Take Action, But Choose Your Partners Carefully Trevor encourages investors to say yes to opportunities, keep learning, and continue moving forward—but not out of desperation. He emphasizes the importance of understanding who you're doing business with, evaluating sponsors carefully, and surrounding yourself with experienced people before committing to a deal.About Tim MaiTim Mai is a real estate investor, fund manager, mentor, and founder of HERO Mastermind for REI coaches. He has helped many real estate investors and coaches become millionaires. Welcome back to the Marketing for Money podcast series! In this special mid-series strategy episode, Scott Carson—"The Note Guy"—steps away from standard deal-scouting to drop an absolute masterclass on a highly specialized, private capital-raising recipe. If you've ever felt stuck chasing real estate funding using the same old "shotgun approach"—like sending cold yellow letters or door-knocking—this tactical blueprint is about to turn your private money sourcing completely on its head. Scott pulls back the curtain on how to extract a goldmine of hyper-targeted leads using public county records to find investors who have literally just had their investment cash returned to their Self-Directed IRAs. When a private lender's mortgage is paid off or satisfied, that capital sits idle earning zero percent—meaning that money is officially "burning a hole in their pocket" and they are actively looking to deploy it into their next big deal. Grab your pen and paper, log into your local county portal, and learn exactly how to stop hunting for capital in the dark and start shooting fish in a barrel!
What do uneven benefits changes from mega corporations tell us about how these workplaces value women? In the past few months, both Deloitte and Zoom have publicly announced significant changes to particular portions of their employee benefits packages. These adjustments amount to telling certain employees (mostly women) that they matter less than others. By slashing paid family and medical leave and paid time off for “support roles,” Deloitte is effectively hamstringing the predominantly female portion of their staff - those workers in positions like finance, admin, and HR (and the changes also impact IT and marketing). Comparatively, they confirmed that no deductions will befall employees in client-facing positions. In this episode, I break down what companies are saying when they curb vital childcare and parental benefits for the portion of their workforce that shoulders the bulk of caregiving responsibilities. Learn more about this “gender-scrubbing” form of sexism that perpetuates workplace inequity, including: How companies use language to erase women from the narrative; The dangerous precedent that a change like this sets; Why not all two-tier benefit structures are made equal; Four steps you can take to make your voice heard. Over the last few years, you've probably heard the term food noise everywhere. But while the name may be new, the experience isn't.For years, women have struggled with cravings, emotional eating, constant thoughts about food, and feeling like they're lacking willpower. In this episode, Janell explores why food noise may not actually be about food at all. You'll learn how under-fueling, blood sugar imbalances, nervous system dysregulation, stress, sleep, highly processed foods, and emotional patterns can all contribute to what we call food noise—and why understanding the message behind the symptom is often more powerful than trying to silence it.Instead of asking, "How do I stop thinking about food?" Janell invites you to ask a different question:"What might my body be trying to tell me?"If you've ever felt stuck in a cycle of cravings or emotional eating, this episode will help you approach your body with more curiosity, compassion, and understanding. In This EpisodeWhat food noise actually isPhysical hunger vs. psychological hungerWhy under-eating often increases cravingsThe connection between blood sugar and food thoughtsHow the nervous system influences emotional eatingWhy sleep and circadian rhythm matterThe role of hyper-palatable foodsA balanced conversation about GLP-1 medicationsWhy food noise is information—not failureResources Mentioned

This is my second episode with Adam Cramer, CEO of the Outdoor Alliance, a coalition of ten national organizations representing the human-powered outdoor community—mountain biking, backcountry skiing, kayaking, climbing, trail running, and more. The Outdoor Alliance works to protect public lands and the places these communities love, getting deeply involved in conservation policy and empowering people to take action on behalf of the landscapes that matter to them. The last year has been a relentless one for public lands, with threats coming from every direction, and Adam and his team have been in the thick of it. Normally my episodes are "evergreen," but given everything happening right now, I wanted to bring Adam back to give us an update on the current threats—as well as some genuine bright spots. This is such a moving target with so many moving pieces that it can be really hard to keep up with everything and, most importantly, to know how to stop talking and take action. So I brought Adam in to help us make sense of it all and give us some instruction on how we can go on the offense to keep public lands public. We cover a lot of ground: the public lands sell-off that arose out of last summer's reconciliation bill and the massive, cross-partisan public blowback that killed it; the fight over the Roadless Rule; the rescinding of the BLM's Public Lands Rule; proposed changes to travel management and motorized vehicle rules; and the reorganization happening inside the land management agencies. But it's not all grim—Adam walks us through the real reasons for hope, including bipartisan efforts like the Public Lands in Public Hands Act, the EXPLORE Act, and the Legacy Restoration Fund, which is moving through Congress right now and is one of the most important places listeners can weigh in today. We also get into Adam's pragmatic, calm approach to all of this—why he refuses to be hysterical even when the stakes are high, what he's learned about strategy and compassion across the table, and how everyday people with jobs and families can stay informed and actually take action without drowning in the noise. He closes with some great book recommendations and a reminder to embrace and bask in the joy of place. And just for some context, we recorded this on June 22, 2026. I hope you enjoy it and learn as much as I did. And most importantly, I hope you'll TAKE ACTION! --- Adam Cramer Outdoor Alliance (Scroll down on the home page to sign up for their email list.)
