Most entrepreneurs think productivity means learning more: more books, more podcasts, more courses. But Pat Flynn argues that real progress comes from learning just enough to pursue your goals. After getting laid off from his dream job, Pat dove into nonstop learning. But instead of moving forward, he felt stuck, overwhelmed with ideas and no real execution. That experience led to his Lean Learning approach, a strategy that helped him build multiple successful online businesses. In this episode, Pat returns to share why overlearning kills productivity and how content creators and entrepreneurs can cut through information overload, take focused action, and grow their business by doing less but better. In this episode, Hala and Pat will discuss: (00:00) Introduction (02:03) Why Overlearning Is Killing Your Productivity (06:43) How a Layoff Sparked His Motivation to Take Action (15:18) 80/20 Time Management Rule for Curious Entrepreneurs (24:18) Learn It or Burn It: Evaluating Learning Methods (34:01) AI as a Creative Partner for Entrepreneurs (37:24) The Biggest Learning Mistake Creator Entrepreneurs Make (42:49) Getting Past the “Cringe” Mindset and Getting Started (53:53) The Keystone Question for Smart Decision-Making (57:28) How Power 10 Boosts Innovation and Team Building Pat Flynn is a serial entrepreneur, speaker, and founder of Smart Passive Income, a leading resource for online business education. “My mom had a clean bill of health. A month later, she needed a quadruple bypass.” That's what Dr. Camille told me as we continued our conversation in this two-part episode. At the time, she was already deep into functional medicine, helping patients uncover what standard labs missed. But when her own mother—vibrant, active, and ‘perfect on paper'—ended up in the ER with life-threatening blockages, the cracks in conventional care became undeniable. In Part 1, we uncovered how hormones like testosterone and progesterone are routinely ignored in women's health. Now, we go further—into the how behind hormone dysfunction. Because it's not just about how much estrogen you have. It's about how your body breaks it down. Metabolizes it. Clears it. And if those systems aren't working—your labs can look “normal” while your risk keeps rising. We talk about the tools Dr. Camille now relies on—DUTCH testing, methylation panels, advanced gut testing. She explains how enzymes like beta-glucuronidase can quietly recirculate hormones your body was trying to clear—raising inflammation and risk in the background. And then there's thermography. A non-radiation imaging tool that revealed unexpected inflammation in Dr. Camille's own breast tissue—despite her clean lifestyle and normal labs. It was a wake-up call. One that changed how she supports her body—and how she guides her patients forward. This isn't about chasing wellness—it's about knowing what path you're on before you land in crisis. If you haven't listened to Part 1 yet, start there. Then come back. Because once you see what's missing from the standard of care—you can't unsee it. Learn more about your ad choices. Now is the perfect time to explore why our finances are so much more than “just numbers,” and how intricately emotions and money intertwine. My guest, Aja Evans, is a financial therapist and the author of the new book, Feel Good Finance. After noticing how often people in therapy sessions breeze past their money stresses, she set out to make talking through our financial concerns more commonplace. This one is certain to resonate—Aja's insights left me feeling like I'd just had a cathartic therapy session myself.Identify your financial priorities and values with Aja's expert advice:Why we need to consider our childhoods when thinking about money; How we can talk about money with our kids to set them up for their own financial futures; The hefty, wide-ranging impact of financial trauma (and why we need to address it);How to start figuring out our basic needs and making brave changes to get aligned.Related Links:Learn more about Aja's work - https://ajaevanscounseling.com/Get a copy of “Feel Good Finance” - https://bookshop.org/p/books/feel-good-finance-untangle-your-relationship-with-money-for-better-mental-emotional-and-financial-well-being-aja-evans/21301669Connect with Aja on Instagram - https://www.instagram.com/ajaetherapy/Listen to Hidden Brain, “Rewrite Your Money Story” - https://hiddenbrain.org/podcast/money-2-0-rewrite-your-money-story/TAKE ACTION with Bossed Up - https://www.bossedup.org/takeactionBossed Up Courage Community - https://www.facebook.com/groups/927776673968737/Bossed Up LinkedIn Group - https://www.linkedin.com/groups/7071888/

So what can you do to keep the most effective aid on the planet from flatlining? My guest today is Rob Rosenbaum, one of the co-leads of PRO. Get business tools and strategy support with her Tools for Coaches membership. Takeaways on Using Low Ticket Offers In an Independent Coaching Practice The power of the no-brainer factor. Low ticket is a strategy for creating offers that your audience can't resist, making it easy for them to say "yes!" ● Transform Browsers into Buyers: By offering low ticket items, you can convert freebie seekers into paying customers. This shift not only establishes a business relationship but also increases the likelihood of repeat purchases in the future. ● Creative low ticket ideas: Steal some of Lisa & Brea's favorite low ticket offerings that you can implement in your coaching practice. ● Leverage Existing Content: Coaches can create low ticket offers from existing materials, such as recorded webinars, activity guides, or coaching templates. This allows you to monetize content you've already developed, making it easier to generate income. ● Build Trust and Value: Low ticket offers can help establish trust with your audience. When clients see the value in your lower-priced products, they are more likely to invest in higher-ticket items down the line, creating a sustainable business model. Take Action to Build a Low Ticket Offer Strategy ● Define Your Low Ticket Offer: Determine what your low ticket offer will be. Remember to make it a “no-brainer” for potential customers. ● Repackage an Existing Asset: Look through your existing materials (like recorded webinars, handouts, or coaching questions) and package them into a low ticket offer. Aim to create something that provides value and can be easily sold, such as a workbook or an activity guide. ● Ask For the Sale: After you create a clear offer, it's time to communicate it to your audience. Remember, people who have bought from you before are more likely to buy again. ● Automate Your Sales: Consider exploring ways to automate the sales of your low ticket offers, such as through email marketing or online sales platforms, to generate income while you focus on other aspects of your business.

This week's 15 min podcast opens with national "No Kings" protests against perceived executive overreach, reinforcing term limits as a bulwark against tyranny. Phil & Nick discuss the sentencing of Michael Madigan, Illinois' former House Speaker, convicted of corruption after a 50-year career. Madigan's long tenure and consolidation of power are highlighted as emblematic of systemic legislative corruption. This episode critiques the notion that political experience guarantees effective governance, using Illinois as a cautionary example. Toilet paper. You use it. I use it. Sometimes, even my children use it. The point is, toilet paper is everywhere. Almost everyone needs it, and so much of it still comes from actual forests, and yet 2 billion people don't have access to even basic sanitation, much less readily available and recycled toilet paper. That's about 40% of the global population. 289,000 children under five die every year from diarrheal diseases caused by poor water and sanitation. That's almost 800 children per day, or one child every two minutes. That's also completely fucking unacceptable. So what can I do about toilet paper and sanitation, and can I do them at the same time? My guest today is Bernie Wiley. Bernie's the Sustainability Director at Who Gives a Crap and, oh boy, do I love this company.Who Gives A Crap makes toilet paper and paper towels and poop bags and more out of recycled paper and bamboo. And they give 50% of their profits to help build toilets and improve sanitation in the developing world. And because of Bernie's relentless focus, they consider every step of the supply chain along the way from water use to power use, all the way to last-mile delivery.-----------Have feedback or questions? Today on Asked and Answered by Soul, Jennifer Urezzio and Tiffany Cano, healer, empath, speaker, CEO of Highly Perceptive People Academy, creator of “Soul of An Empath” Podcast, and host of the “Knowing You” Show, explore the multiple ways of cultivating intuition and learning to discern between lower and higher intuition. That gut feeling we get from the solar plexus is a good starting point, but can sometimes be tainted by lower emotions, so it's important to shift up to the heart and upper chakras for a fuller, clearer, and authentic message. Join us today as Jennifer and Tiffany talk about recognizing the mixture of fear, stress, worry, and louder, more dense feelings that are from our lower nature and may not be as accurate compared to the messages from our heart and above, which are softer, sweeter, calmer, and peaceful. When we understand and believe that we are whole and complete, breathe into our heart, and build our trust factor, we tap into the power of intuitive living and experience a more fulfilling, joyful, prosperous life. You can learn more about Tiffany at https://highlyperceptivepeopleacademy.com/ About Tiffany Tiffany Cano is the CEO of Highly Perceptive People Academy. She has been getting paid for healing since she was 8 years old. Tom welcomes back the legendary Rick Rule to the show. Rick discusses the current state of the gold and his thoughts on the uranium sector. Rick also discusses the U.S. energy sector and notes that the the Canadian oil and gas industry, particularly in the Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin, is potentially even more favorable due to political conditions. He contrasts this with the over-drilled Permian basin in the U.S., suggesting Canada's untapped resources could lead to significant growth if policies become more supportive. Rick's investment philosophy centers on long-term perspective, resilience, and continuous learning. Rule advises investors to educate themselves, act prudently, and build a strong reputation. He concludes with a quote from Robert Friedland, underscoring the importance of preparation for economic challenges, urging listeners to embrace this journey as an opportunity for growth. Lastly, Rick highlights his new project Battle Bank, a unique service providing lending products secured by physical gold and silver, catering to those seeking capital access while maintaining prudent savings. You've heard people say it. It shouldn't have been called Earth. It should have been called Ocean, but it is simultaneously a planet of trees. As Richard Powers put it in The Overstory: We live in a world of trees. Once something like 6 trillion trees, and humanity are the late arrivals. So how do we reconnect with trees to stop using them for toilet paper? How do we learn more about why they're suffering and in some unexpected places surviving to know them, to care for them, and maybe even know ourselves a little bit better along the way?My guest today is Marguerite Holloway.Marguerite is the author of the wonderful new book Take To The Trees: A Story of Hope, Science, and Self-Discovery in America's Imperiled Forests. Marguerite is a professor at Columbia University's graduate school of journalism. She loves maps and is the author of The Measure of Manhattan. She has written about science, including climate change, natural history and environmental issues, public health, physics, neuroscience, and women in science for publications including the New York Times, the New Yorker, Natural History, WIRED and Scientific American, where she was a long time writer and editor.-----------Have feedback or questions?
