In this Friday Headline Brief of The Wright Report, Bryan sounds the alarm on a clandestine Chinese biolab discovered in Las Vegas, tied to the same Chinese national behind the infamous California lab raid involving dangerous viruses, dead animals, and fraudulent COVID test schemes. He then covers explosive new inconsistencies in the Jeffrey Epstein jail death investigation, including missing evidence, conflicting officer statements, and questions the DOJ still refuses to answer. Back in Washington, Bryan breaks down the looming DHS shutdown as Democrats push demands that would effectively cripple ICE, while some Republicans float compromise plans that Bryan warns could be disastrous. The episode closes with encouraging economic and medical news, including rising wages for American truckers as illegal drivers are removed, factory growth beating expectations, falling remittances to Mexico, promising breakthroughs in cholesterol treatment, inspiring longevity research from Spain, and simple evidence that family dinners may be one of the most powerful tools to protect children. We recently returned to Pinnacles National Park, a place we hadn't visited since our first trip in 2013. Situated about 75 minutes south of Monterey, California, Pinnacles is known for its dramatic volcanic rock formations, remnants of a once 8,000-foot volcano. When we first visited, Pinnacles had just become a national park, and we stopped there as part of our journey to visit all the U.S. national parks. This time, we had a different reason to return. Karen wanted to explore one of the park's talus caves. In this episode, we discuss our visit to the park, where we hiked into the lower portion of Bear Gulch Cave, then to Bear Gulch Reservoir, and finally into the high peaks. We also dive into the park's fascinating geology, its history as a national monument established by Theodore Roosevelt, and the role of the Civilian Conservation Corps in building many of the trails and structures still used today. And of course, no visit to Pinnacles would be complete without talking about California condors. Pinnacles is the only national park that actively manages a condor release site, and we explain how these remarkable birds were brought back from the brink of extinction. If you're planning a visit to Pinnacles, this episode is for you, as we also share practical tips to help you make the most of your time in the park. ----- Follow this link to join us on Patreon. The economy is in pretty much the same weird place it's been for the past few months. Hiring is down, the cost of living is up, and no one really knows what's coming next. That uncertainty is partially thanks to AI, which is supposed to change work as we know it. It's making everyone – from stock traders to white-collar workers – very, very nervous. On this episode, we talk to Stacey Vanek Smith. She's a reporter for Bloomberg Businessweek and co-host of the Bloomberg podcast, Everybody's Business. And in headlines, the Supreme Court signs off on California's new congressional map, President Trump's attempted assassin is sentenced to life in prison, and a group of Minnesota teachers and school districts sue to stop immigration enforcement activity on or near public schools.Show Notes: Check out Everybody's Business Call Congress – 202-224-3121 Subscribe to the What A Day Newsletter – https://tinyurl.com/3kk4nyz8 What A Day – YouTube – https://www.youtube.com/@whatadaypodcast Follow us on Instagram – https://www.instagram.com/crookedmedia/ For a transcript of this episode, please visit crooked.com/whataday
California is chasing opportunity right out of the state.Progressive lawmakers are slapping a massive new price tag on the Golden State — one so high it could drive out the businesses, founders, and job creators who built California's economy.California's proposed Wealth Tax Act, better known as the Billionaire Tax, would hit roughly 200 Californians worth more than $1 billion with a one-time 5% tax on worldwide net worth.Even Gavin Newsom has warned that state-level wealth taxes accelerate the California exodus, pushing innovation, investment, and jobs out of the state. Here's why taxing billionaires could end up setting California's own economy on fire.See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.

The braindead police chief says she didn't know he was illegal. NO CHANCE this is an accident. https://twitter.com/StephenM/status/2018170822762823946?s=20 border fit that criteria. No one in Mexico or Ecuador or Honduras etc live in nations where there is any state persecution of any protected class. It's all fake, all the way down. 2. All non-Mexican illegals have transited through additional countries on the way to America where there are no forms of state persecution, thereby further disproving any hypothetical claim 3. As yet further proof the claims are fake, aliens turn down the opportunity to avoid this fabricated persecution by being safely resettled in another nation 4. Illegal aliens receive free and functionally unlimited legal services. When facing deportation, they and their lawyers (as a matter of course) automatically file fake asylum applications. It's a multibillion dollar fraudulent industry. It's gross, unethical, and deeply immoral. Everyone involved in this system understands and knows these claims are false. Adjudicating these knowingly false claims is a full-time job for thousands of people. 5. Federal law requires illegal aliens to be detained pending a hearing for their (fake) asylum claim. These are not prisons. They are not being punished. No one is being sentenced. Civil detention and removal is not part of the Article III justice system (in fact, Congress stripped Article III of jurisdiction over civil immigration procedure). The goal of the US government is to send aliens home immediately (they get cash and a free plane ticket) with the fewest days in custody as logistically possible. Any delay is caused by the fake asylum claim. 6. When the fake asylum claim is heard on the “non-detained” docket the illegal aliens rarely show for their hearings. Those few who do show stay in the country regardless after losing (unless placed into detention). Removal orders are ignored as a matter of course. If and when absconders are eventually found (at great time and expense) they still have to be detained to actually effectuate the removal. At this point in time their lawyers will file a motion to reopen their asylum claim or otherwise appeal the finding and seek release again. Regardless, no removal of any alien anywhere can occur unless in a detained setting. If the alien has children they are, by law, supposed to stay in a family residential center (that costs more per night than a high-end hotel, and includes full medical, dental, scholastic and other services) 7. Biden officials did not even bother with the pretext of performing intake interviews for the millions and millions and millions they released into the US. The aliens were simply released on sight, no questions asked, with court dates years away, in the hope and expectation that by the time their fake asylum claims were adjudicated and rejected years later, Democrats would be able to scream that these illegals have now lived here for X years and they and their children must be allowed to stay at our permanent expense. No one in the prior Administration responsible for these decisions actually believed the or now this has anything to do with asylum. To them, it is just useful propaganda in service of infinite mass migration. https://twitter.com/EricLDaugh/status/2019043492899725395?s=20 DOJ Files Show Jeffrey Epstein Was Reportedly About To Cooperate With Federal Prosecutors Just Weeks Before He Was Found Dead in Jail Epstein was going to flip? I). You have the legal right to gather in public spaces for lawful purposes- – -like protesting, petitioning the government, or observing events—as long as it’s peaceful and doesn’t break other laws (e.g., no trespassing, no interfering with federal operations, no violence). Supreme Court cases like De Jonge v. Oregon (1937) made it clear: peaceable assembly is a fundamental right, cognate to free speech, and can’t be banned just because officials dislike the message. Governments can impose reasonable, content-neutral time, place, and manner restrictions (e.g., permits for large crowds, no blocking traffic) to protect public safety/order, but they can’t outright prohibit lawful gatherings or use force against peaceful participants. Bottom line: True peaceful assembly is 100% protected. Fake titles don’t create extra rights or shields for illegal interference. Stay lawful – – – stay peaceful—that’s the line. The only election the Dems have “won” was in 2020 when there were mass mail-in ballots due to the man-made virus that “leaked” from a US-funded lab, via a CIA/USAID-funded project. The only thing that could save the Dems now, is some sort of catastrophe that they can leverage to their advantage. https://twitter.com/WarClandestine/status/2018851005069226185?s=20 American People will see that the Dems are not actually all that popular. The Dems' perceived support is all one giant ruse. If we pass the SAVE Act, the 2026 election will serve as incontrovertible evidence that the Dems have been engaged in election fraud and treason. The public will have witnessed the sharp contrast with their own eyes. After the People see that the Dems are frauds that can only win by cheating, the public will not only be more willing to accept the reckoning, they will be cheering for it. Karen Friedman Agnifilo and guest host Lisa Graves host the top-ranked law and politics podcast Legal AF and break down this week's most explosive legal and political developments at the intersection of law and democracy. From the Supreme Court's approval of California's congressional maps, to the high-profile Hellerstein hearing on the attempted transfer of Trump's Manhattan criminal case, KFA and Lisa explain how these decisions will shape the balance of power in Congress and the rule of law. They also dive into updates on the Epstein files, including how Judge Berman brokered a critical fix to victim redaction issues in that sprawling case. Finally, they tackle the latest developments in Minnesota, where federal immigration enforcement has been scaled back with 700 agents removed amid ongoing protests and legal turmoil. On the Mike Force Podcast with Mike Glover, we break down the Minnesota fallout after the federal agent–involved shooting of Alex Pretti and ask if coordinated protest mobilization is the early signal of a civil conflict the U.S. hasn't faced in modern times. Today's Headlines: While U.S. officials continue to shrug at the Epstein files, Europe is once again doing the most. Lithuanian prosecutors announced a human trafficking investigation after reviewing information tied to the Epstein documents, citing connections to Lithuanian models and artists and urging potential victims to come forward. Back stateside, DHS said it will pull 700 federal immigration agents out of Minnesota following weeks of aggressive enforcement, though roughly 2,000 agents will remain after about 3,000 arrests during “Operation Metro Surge.” The Supreme Court also issued an emergency ruling allowing California to use its newly redrawn congressional map, after Democrats responded to Trump's push for GOP-led states to aggressively gerrymander ahead of the 2026 midterms. Meanwhile, new reporting revealed that days before Trump's inauguration, his family quietly sold nearly half of their crypto company to an Emirati royal with deep intelligence ties, a deal now under scrutiny by House Democrats over national security concerns tied to advanced U.S. AI chips. Elsewhere, the EEOC announced it is investigating Nike for allegedly discriminating against white employees as part of its DEI programs, marking a first-of-its-kind case. And finally, the Washington Post laid off roughly a third of its staff — gutting entire desks — as Jeff Bezos continues his very normal billionaire media ownership arc. What happens when the world of GLP-1s collides with the operating room? Today, we're diving into the new era of obesity care. Hosts· Matthew Martin, trauma and bariatric surgeon at the University of Southern California/Los Angeles General Medical Center (Los Angeles, California) @docmartin2· Adrian Dan, bariatric and MIS surgeon, program director for the advanced MIS bariatric and foregut fellowship at Summa Health System (Akron, Ohio) @DrAdrianDan· Crystal Johnson Mann, bariatric and foregut surgeon at the University of Florida (Gainesville, Florida) @crys_noelle_· Katherine Cironi, general surgery resident at the University of Southern California/Los Angeles General Medical Center (Los Angeles, California) @cironimacaroniLearning objectives1. Understand the evolving role of OMMs in bariatric surgical practice· Recognize how widespread GLP-1 and dual-incretin therapies have reshaped patient presentations, expectations, and referral patterns.· Appreciate current evidence comparing surgery to GLP-1 therapy, including the JAMA Surgery study out of Allegheny Health (2025), noting:o Superior weight loss with bariatric surgery (~28% TBWL vs ~10% with GLP-1s)o Higher health-care utilization and cost in GLP-1–treated patients.· Frame OMMs not as alternatives but as complementary tools within a chronic disease model when treating obesity.2. Review pharmacologic classes and their expected efficacy· Surgeons should be able to articulate the mechanisms, efficacy, and limitations of:o GLP-1 receptor agonists – incretin-based satiety; 5–12% TBWL.o Dual GIP/GLP-1 agonists – most potent agents; 15–22% TBWL.o Sympathomimetics – norepinephrine-driven appetite suppression; 3–7% TBWL.o Combination agents (bupropion-naltrexone, phentermine-topiramate) – 5–12% TBWL depending on regimen.o Emerging therapies – retatrutide, maritide, oral GLP-1s, with promising TBWL in phase 2 trials3. Apply OMMs strategically in the preoperative phase· Integrate OMMs without compromising surgical eligibility—OMM-related weight loss does not negate the indication for surgery.· Counsel patients that medication response does not equal disease resolution; surgery remains the most durable intervention.· Manage delayed gastric emptying and aspiration risk:o Pause weekly GLP-1 or dual agonists for ≥1 week pre-op (longer if symptomatic).o Collaborate closely with the anesthesia/OR teams· Screen for nutritional depletion before surgery, especially protein deficits exacerbated by appetite suppression.· Navigate insurance barriers that may paradoxically approve surgery but deny medication continuation.4. Implement postoperative OMMs safely and effectively· Establish criteria for OMM introduction:o Typical initiation at 6–12 months, once the diet stabilizes and the physiologic curve flattens.o Earlier initiation (4–6 weeks) may be appropriate in pediatric or select high-risk populations.· Recognize altered pharmacokinetics after sleeve and bypass:o Injectables may be preferred due to altered absorption of oral agents.· Prevent postoperative nutritional compromise:o Monitor protein intake, hydration, and micronutrient status (including iron, B12, and fat-soluble vitamins).o Titrate doses slowly to minimize nausea/vomiting that can precipitate malnutrition.· Frame OMM use as a tool for disease persistence (plateau/regain), not as a marker of failure.5. Identify systems-level barriers and the implementation of coordinated care· Understand insurance inconsistencies—coverage for surgery is often not paired with coverage for long-term medical therapy.· Clearly document disease persistence and medical necessity when appealing denials.· Avoid fragmented care: establish shared-care pathways between bariatric surgery, obesity medicine, and primary care.· Use patient-centered language emphasizing complementary therapy, not hierarchy or competition between surgery and medications.6. Counsel patients ethically and accurately within a chronic disease model· Set expectations: sustained success requires surgery + medication + behavioral change.· Educate patients that postoperative OMM use does not imply surgical failure.· Normalize long-term multimodal management of obesity, analogous to diabetes or hypertension models.*Sponsor Disclaimer: Visit goremedical.com/btkpod to learn more about GORE® SYNECOR Biomaterial, including supporting references and disclaimers for the presented content. On this episode of Joe Oltmann Untamed, Joe kicks off with a cold open that'll shake you to your core: Newsmax calls for arresting Barack Obama as evidence mounts that he and his crew engineered Russia Gate to tear America apart, while Tulsi Gabbard exposes how Biden and Kamala were never truly in charge the real power brokers pulled the strings. The Commies are now gunning for Tulsi with bogus whistleblower smears after her Fulton County work, but she's fighting back with a damning letter debunking their lies. We dive into Dominion Voting Machines' fraud nightmare, from Michigan Sheriff Dar Leaf's letter to Jim Jordan on rigged elections to Rasmussen's fresh callout on interconnected Dominion scandals foreign access, straw buyers, and the whole rotten system.Energy expert and U.S. Navy veteran Mike Ariza joins to sound the alarm on America's crumbling energy independence, breaking down Valero's accelerated Benicia refinery shutdown amid California's sky-high gas prices ($4.25/gallon and climbing) and regulatory hell that's driving refineries out. With hands-on experience from Chevron, Valero, and Flying J, Mike ties this to the AI race against China, how our shrinking domestic capacity risks blackouts, military vulnerabilities, and losing the tech edge as data centers demand massive power. From nuclear restarts to policy overhauls, he lays out urgent fixes to fuel AI dominance without foreign dependence. We chart A Path Forward no more silence, no more retreat. We confront the indoctrination machine head-on: schools nationwide, from North Central High in Indianapolis (where only ~46% of students read at grade level and ~24% are proficient in math) to Jefferson County, Colorado, are turning classrooms into anti-ICE propaganda zones, teaching kids to dox federal agents and demonize law enforcement, all on taxpayer dollars. Parents are furious one dad in Washington State exploded after his son was dragged to an anti-ICE protest without consent while Fulton County Chairman Robb Pitts declares at a press conference that arrests are coming and the system is cracking. This is the fork in the road: expose, confront, and demand accountability, including arrests for the worst offenders or let radicals keep turning our kids and communities into battlegrounds. The path forward is clear fight now, or lose everything.
Dear Humans, Today on The God Show, Jesus and I played a clip from an anti-fascist leftist hero who set up a fake "Illegal Immigrant Report" tip line, and racist snitches keep calling it thinking it's real. One of them was a kindergarten teacher trying to get her own 6-year-old student's parents deported. Yes, really. She said it all out loud, then immediately lost her mind the second the guy on the phone started repeating her cruelty back to her in plain English. And after that, we kept going: more calls, more bigots outing themselves, and more proof that these people aren't "concerned citizens." They're wannabe deportation cops with Fox News for a brain. We also hit the real news, including: new polling from Harry Enten showing Americans do not trust Trump on elections a surprise Supreme Court move on California's new maps a Tulsi Gabbard whistleblower deadline that's about to detonate by Friday Seriously though, when you hear how these callers react when the "agent" simply restates what they're asking for, you're going to laugh your ass off. These racist schmucks want to do evil, but they ALSO want to feel self-righteous while they do it. The second you repeat their own evil desires back to them, they totally freak out! There was righteous laughter today. The kind that cleanses your soul. Enjoy!
Is your magnesium not working, even though you're taking it daily? Discover why magnesium is not working, how to choose the best type of magnesium, improve magnesium absorption, and avoid common magnesium supplement mistakes in this video. If you're taking magnesium for sleep and other benefits, yet you're still dealing with insomnia, fatigue, high blood pressure, heart palpitations, leg cramps, anxiety, and more, this is for you. Magnesium is one of the most important minerals in the body. It's involved in over 300 biochemical reactions and is vital for the following: • Heart rhythm• Healthy blood pressure levels• Sleep • Energy• Insulin • Nerve function • Mitochondrial functionHere are 8 common mistakes people make with magnesium, which could be the reason why your magnesium supplements are not working! 1. Thinking magnesium works by itself Magnesium and vitamin D are codependent. You need 4,000 to 10,000 IUs of vitamin D for magnesium to work properly in the body. If you don't have enough vitamin B6, potassium, or sodium, it may seem that your magnesium is not working. 2. Ignoring cell membrane damageMany people have damaged cell membranes due to the consumption of seed oils. You need healthy cell membranes for magnesium absorption. 3. Stress Stress shuts down digestion, lowers immunity, decreases blood flow to certain organs, and increases the demand for magnesium. Caffeine can also deplete magnesium.4. Taking the wrong type of magnesium Magnesium oxide is the most common form of magnesium in supplements, but it's the worst! Magnesium glycinate is a much better option and is the most absorbable. 5. Blocking magnesium absorption without knowingToo much calcium can block the absorption of magnesium. Zinc, fluoride, and aluminum can inhibit its function. Low stomach acid, antacids, and acid blockers can also interfere with magnesium absorption. 6. Misunderstanding RDAsRDAs do not represent a therapeutic dose. If you're trying to correct a magnesium deficiency, you need significantly more magnesium than the RDA. If you want to increase your magnesium intake, spread your doses throughout the day, as you can only absorb around 300 to 400 mg at once.7. Unrealistic expectations Vitamins and minerals do not work like drugs. It can sometimes take a while to restore healthy biochemistry in the body. 8. Missing the insulin connection Insulin resistance can block magnesium absorption, and consequently, a magnesium deficiency can increase your risk of insulin resistance. With the recent release of Pete's documentary "Feeding the Rat" I was eager to get some time with Pete to discuss the entire expanse of his career. We sat down in 2019 as he was a World Tour pro eyeing a segue to gravel and now seven years later he's expressed an interest in doing this his own way as he segues away from the 10 out of 10 competitive level. Look, I understand it. Once a racer, always a racer. It's hard to step away and Pete is juggling a whole lot. Next week, I am in Paris. And I have the privledge to document the session on "Rethinking The WIne Business." Two of the prominent panel members are Paul Mabray and Priscilla Hennekam. There is a movement in the trade to mix things up a bit; make some changes, move the needle a bit. Paul Mabray is considered the pre-eminent authority of all things digital wine. Platforms, logistics, user-experience and more, all play into the realm of Paul's knowledge base. I have to tell you, having Paul Mabray on the show was a breath of fresh air—no other way to describe it. He's got this knack for slicing through the clutter and getting to the heart of what's happening in the wine world today. You know me, I love a good anecdote and an insightful thought, and he delivered plenty. Right out of the gate, Paul Mabray hit us with a beautiful metaphor: a glass of wine is a time capsule, a space-time machine connecting you to France ten years ago, or some other corner of the world and moment in history. I was hooked! That's what keeps me coming back to these conversations—a guest who sees past the label and into the soul of wine itself. We started the episode in my studio in Monroeville, California, broadcasting all the way to Napa. Paul Mabray—and, yes, for the record, both our names being Paul made the "Paul Squared" jokes inevitable—has worn many hats: club manager, consultant, software innovator, and digital pioneer. I reminisced about the early days of my own family's Wine of the Month Club: carbon paper, binders stuffed with customer cards, and handwritten manifests. He nodded knowingly, recalling his own journey at Niebaum Coppola, and the story about hiring Rob Crumb to write Access for Dummies so they could process wine club memberships in 72 hours instead of weeks! That story, I thought, is the kind of practical innovation the wine business desperately needed. As I listened to Paul Mabray, it occurred to me how much the industry has changed. The old guard—wholesalers, lobbyists—used to make it nearly impossible to ship direct to consumers. Back then, you practically had to sneak into the Wholesalers Association. He reminded me how those lobbying efforts were already fracturing in the mid-2000s, and with COVID, things are accelerating. Consumers are getting what they want, regulations be damned. That's insight you only get from someone who's lived both the analog and digital sides of the game. We also dove into software innovation—my old-school, "clunky but functional" database meets his experience launching e-commerce solutions like Wine Direct back in 2002. He had me laughing with stories of credit card gateways thinking a massive wine club was a puppy mill for stolen cards. The way he explained the evolution from manual systems to omnichannel cloud solutions made me realize: in the wine business, technology is about scaling human connection, not replacing it. A favorite moment in our conversation was when we discussed the fragility of relying on the tasting room model. Fires, earthquakes, and COVID have hammered the point home—it's time to reach consumers in Boston, Austin, Anchorage, wherever they are. It's about connection. That's tough for the "gentleman farmers" who often own wineries now, but it's necessary. Paul Mabray sees the golden age of wine online coming, and I'm inclined to agree. If you want a snapshot of the state and future of wine, these are the conversations to listen to. Technology, branding, regulation, and, of course, the existential experience of sharing a bottle—wine, Paul Mabray reminds us, is a social time capsule. He left me thinking that the business side, the digital side, and the soul of wine are all lining up for a renaissance. And that's a story worth sharing.

While the production of my Lowdown commentaries is high-tech, I confess that I'm antiquated.I still write each piece in longhand, applying my ballpoint to paper. This has caused bewildered glances from some who see me scribbling away in local coffeeshops and bars. Recently, one fellow sidled up and whispered: “Watch out! If they see you doin' this, they'll haul you off to the Smithsonian.”But we handwriters might not be as obsolete as the key-tappers assume. A fast-spreading grassroots movement is calling for schools to reemphasize the value of writing and printing by hand, instead of being wholly-dependent on machines. Already, 24 states – as varied as Mississippi and California– now require public schools to teach cursive handwriting in third-through fifth grades. This squares with new understanding of how brains absorb information. While keyboards are faster, the slower, more tactile act of handwriting creates longer lasing comprehension of letters – and better retention of the thoughts they convey. Neuroscientists find that rote keystrokes on a computer require little mental engagement, while physically drawing out words and ideas takes coordination of multiple areas of the brain to focus memory, eyes, and fingers on creating a written product.Just writing this piece conjured up a fond remembrance of my early childhood: Sitting on the floor of our home learning to draw the ABCs, both print and cursive, on those lined practice pads. It was both an artistic exercise and the development of a foundational tool for a life of learning. This is Jim Hightower saying… Yes, computer literacy is an indispensable element of today's childhood curriculum --- but so is the richer development of human thinking through putting pen to paper. So let's teach both!PS—Here's a post we did a couple years ago about how Hightower's work goes from handwritten on paper to whooshing through the ether into your inboxes:Jim Hightower's Lowdown is a reader-supported publication. Divorce can become significantly more complicated when culture, immigration status, or international law are part of the equation. I'm joined by family law attorney Diana Romanov for a conversation about what happens when divorce crosses cultural and international lines. Diana brings a rare perspective to this work, shaped by her own immigration journey, her legal training, and practice across multiple countries. Together, we unpack how jurisdiction is determined when spouses live in different countries, how cultural norms shape power and decision-making in divorce, and why custody battles often look very different when one parent has been the primary caregiver for most of the marriage. We also dig into the realities of international relocation with children and how courts decide who can move, who can't, and why. At its core, this is about understanding how power, protection, and parenting are negotiated when the rules are shaped by more than one system. What you'll hear about in this episode: How Diana's international background and lived experience as an immigrant informs the way she practices family law and advocates for clients across cultural lines (2:06) What "jurisdiction" really means in international and cross-border divorce (5:00) How cultural norms around gender roles, finances, and marriage can deeply impact the divorce process (11:05) Strategic realities behind custody negotiations, including when equal timeshare is about optics or money rather than actual parenting (13:08) How international and long-distance custody and relocation cases are evaluated, including the factors courts use to decide whether a parent can move with children (24:46) What parents need to understand about documentation, communication, and evidence in high-conflict and cross-border cases (34:40) ✨ If you'd like to watch the video version of this episode, you can find it here. Clarity, focus, and wisdom are the foundation for building a life with purpose, momentum, and less stress, and in this powerful podcast episode we break down the simple principle that changes everything: when you focus on what you want, you stop being controlled by what you don't. If you're looking for practical life lessons, personal growth strategies, and real-world wisdom for better decisions, this episode will hit home.Ever feel like life is one long game of Whack-A-Mole?Solve one problem. Two more pop up.You stay busy… but nothing really moves forward. Here's the shift most people miss:You weren't meant to live in reaction mode. You were built to prepare, build, and move with clarity.I learned this as a kid, standing in the doorway of my childhood home on Sixth Street in Lompoc, California. My mama was in the kitchen next to an old-school juicer, the kind that had history. Outside, sheer curtains blurred the courtyard where a lemon tree grew — the same tree she'd grab from to make fresh lemonade whenever I asked. She looked at me and said something simple that stuck for life:“If you focus on what you want, you won't have to worry about what you don't.”And here's the truth:The people who win at life aren't just reacting. They're preparing. While everyone else is running around putting out fires…They're investing in the foundation. When you invest in wisdom and clarity:• Decisions get easier• Distractions lose power• Progress speeds upThere will always be noise. There will always be shortcuts. There will always be shiny things pulling at your attention. But focus guards your purpose. And when your mind is full of wisdom, the fork in the road stops being confusing. The right move gets clearer. The wrong ones get louder (in a good way). You still choose. But clarity makes the choice easier. So maybe today's the day you stop chasing every fire…And start building something that actually lasts.Because when you focus on what you want, the rest stops running your life.COME AND JOIN US AT THE VIBE ROOMMARCH 11 IN CARLSBAD
