On Monday's Mark Levin Show, AI and data centers are the new boogeyman. And the ones complaining the loudest are so-called conservatives. According to a poll, 71% of Americans oppose data centers. But what is it they oppose? There's a lot of lies and misinformation floating around, like what happened during COVID. It's democracy vs. mobocracy, and people are throwing their principles to the wind. While West Virginia welcomes data centers, California wants to ban them. People who call themselves conservatives preach against socialism then demand government kill an entire industry? This is where the rubber hits the road: conservatives must either support what's right or join the mob. We're capitalists, this is who we are. America must support new technologies that will create new jobs and secure our future. Also, people are always distrustful of new things, but we can't be afraid to stand up to the mob. We say we're America First but oppose an industry that will keep America as the world's tech leader? We say we want to hire Americans over foreigners but try to ban a new industry that will create jobs? The hypocrisy is thick. Then, Abdul El-Sayed on MS NOW complains that Trump thinks he's less American. And why wouldn't he? El-Sayed says the election is about pocketbook issues like healthcare and affordability but with someone like El-Sayed, this election is about his ties to terror groups. It is about sharia law. It is about his father's ties. It is his association with Hasan Piker who thinks America deserved 9/11. Did El-Sayed's parents or grandparents fight for this country? Don't be fooled by Islamists who pretend to be someone they're not. Finally, JD Vance says we must be ruthless in our exercise of power. That's wrong. There is a difference between positive power and negative power. While negative power is the ruthless use of power, positive power is power exercised properly in line with the Constitution and the Declaration's emphasis on the individual. The Constitution spells out who gets what kind of power and how much, and the further away we get from the Constitution, the closer we come to authoritarianism and tyranny. Jack Irwin was a 71-year-old Korean War veteran who lived a quiet, isolated life in a cabin on Mount Baldy, California. In 1999, he befriended Marcia Johnson and Judy Gellert, a couple interested in buying his cabin. The women quickly became close to Jack, eventually moved in with him, and gained access to his finances through a trust that would transfer his assets to them after his death. On September 13, 1999, Jack disappeared after Marcia claimed she dropped him at a train station with $5,000 and a change of clothes for a spontaneous trip to Seattle. His neighbors and longtime friend Sandy Bailey immediately doubted the story, especially after Marcia and Judy stopped cooperating with investigators and began using Jack's money. The investigation eventually revealed that Marcia had made repeated withdrawals from Jack's accounts, bought vehicles, sold his property, and helped collect insurance money after his Mount Baldy cabin was destroyed in an arson fire. His research explores the evolution of mammals that lived alongside dinosaurs and how mammals have diversified over time. Sir Roger Deakins is an acclaimed cinematographer who is known for his visual artistry on films including The Shawshank Redemption, 1917, Fargo, Skyfall and Blade Runner 2049. His talents have been acknowledged with a knighthood, five BAFTAs and two Oscars. Roger was born in Torquay, Devon in 1949. In 1968 he attended the Bath Academy of Art where he was inspired by one of his tutors, the street photographer Roger Mayne, to go out with his camera and capture what he saw. Roger Deakins followed this advice and spent his weekends shooting people and places in British seaside towns.In 1975 Roger graduated from the National Film School in Beaconsfield and started work as a cameraman – making documentaries and music videos. His first feature film was Cruel Passion which came out in 1977. In 1984 he worked on Michael Radford's film adaptation of George Orwell's novel 1984, starring Richard Burton and John Hurt. The first of Roger's collaborations with filmmakers Joel and Ethan Coen started in 1991 with the film Barton Fink. The three of them went on to make 12 films together including O Brother, Where Art Thou? Fargo and The Big Lebowski. In 2018 Roger won his first Academy Award for Blade Runner 2049, directed by Denis Villeneuve. He was knighted for services to film in 2021. Roger lives in California with his wife James. They also have a home in Devon.
