Steven Spielberg believes humanity may discover extraterrestrial life within our lifetime, which is either the beginning of the greatest scientific revelation in history or an elaborate way of making everyone look up from their phones for five minutes.In this episode of Mark and Pete, we look at Spielberg's comments about UFOs, UAPs, alien life and the belief that we may not be alone in the universe. Remote Work, On-Location Impressions, and Case Examples Dave explains that most of the group's work is done remotely, but sometimes small teams go on location when assigned. He says being physically present at a location can intensify the connection because the raw energy of the place is stronger. He shares one example of following a road on Google Maps and identifying where a missing man would be found after his vehicle went off a cliff. He also mentions a murder case in which he visited the victim's home, received impressions of the perpetrator, and later saw those impressions validated when the suspect was caught and convicted, though he avoids naming the case because of legal sensitivity. Mediumship Evidence and Unusual Validations Roman asks Dave about mind-blowing experiences from his mediumship practice. Dave describes a reading for a mother and daughter in which the deceased father brought through the image of an octopus. Although Dave thought it sounded unlikely, the women had specifically agreed that if he mentioned an octopus, they would know the reading was real. Dave says such unusual validations are meaningful because they are too specific to be guessed easily. He also explains that animals can appear in readings and may communicate much like people do, whether dogs, cats, horses, turtles, or other pets. The Afterlife, Heaven, and the Moment of Death The conversation turns to what Dave has perceived about the afterlife. He says departed loved ones often describe themselves as being in heaven, though the details vary because each person's experience of the other side may be different. Some may show mountains, landscapes, space-like imagery, or places that resemble what they loved while alive. Dave also says he does not believe people experience pain at the moment of death once they are out of the body. He describes accounts in which people observe their bodies being worked on after an accident without feeling physical pain, and he says the transition is generally associated with peace, love, light, and spiritual release. Astrology, Destiny, Free Will, and Life Plans Roman and Dave also discuss astrology, destiny, and free will. Dave says his view has changed over time, and he now believes much of life is pre-planned, with free will influencing how people respond to the plan. He describes an astrology chart as a kind of map a person comes in with, showing major life themes, people, career paths, lessons, and opportunities. According to Dave, if something is not in the chart, it is not likely to happen, but individuals still have choice in how they engage with what appears. The conversation also touches on reincarnation, soul lessons, and the possibility that difficult experiences may need to be faced again if they are not worked through. Violence, Disclosure, Aliens, and the State of the World Roman asks Dave whether the world is more violent than it used to be, and Dave says he believes people may simply hear about violence more because of instant news and social media. They also discuss astrology's connection to major historical cycles, including planetary alignments Dave connects with revolutionary periods. Who would have thought Steven Spielberg could make a boring movie about aliens? Spielberg's first major film in 10 years, Disclosure Day, was released Friday to mixed reviews. I haven't seen the film, but based on the reviews of those who have my sense is that the movie is about an hour too long and 30 years out of date. For example, the movie is described as a long chase scene in which the two protagonists are trying to reach a television studio to share proof of the existence of extraterrestrial life. Pardon me, but who actually believes the mainstream media anymore? Spielberg may be showing his age, but pretty much everyone under the age of 75 knows that anyone with the laptop and Wi-Fi could get the same information out to the entire world, faster, easier, and with a better chance of being believed than by racing a team of trained security professionals to a broadcast news studio.This movie would have been received a lot better during the height of the popularity of The X-Files. Meanwhile, aliens of a different type have the United Kingdom rising up in protest after several incidents where new arrivals to the UK took bladed weapons to people of European ancestry. Citizens of the UK want elected officials who have foisted unrestricted immigration on their constituents, held accountable for streets that are increasingly unsafe and budgets that are increasingly unbalanced because of the imported diversity. Also: 100 days of war with Iran.

THE ALIENS have landed with a thud. Although some have praised the new Steven Spielberg film Disclosure Day, many reviewers are less than overwhelmed.
