Send us a textMark Marinaccio, founder of Strange Story Co. (@strangestoryco on Insta) and the premiere producer of non-fiction TV and streaming series such as Ghost Hunters, Alien Encounters: Truth or Fiction and The Secret of Skinwalker Ranch and many many many more, shares his profound insights on all things mystical and unexplained in our interdimensional metaverse. Marinaccio is a veteran producer and creator of streaming and TV contaent in what is typically known as paranormal phenomena. However, Marinaccio explains how the terms ghosts and aliens seems out of sync with his own understanding of what is probably a difference in dimensions....other organic or sentient or conscious beings existing in another dimension in a way that as humans we have yet to fully explain and understand. HIs first venture into the unexplained was in Leap Castle in Ireland, one of the country's most haunted locations., for the long-running series Ghost Hunters. There Druids once celebrated their initiations and the O'Bannon clan fought for domination. But among the many haunted and alien-rich locations Marinaccio is familiar with in his career is Skinwalker Ranch in Utah. As showrunner of Series 3 of The Secret of Skinwalker Ranch, Marinaccio's investigative sense of curiousity and understanding of portals, interdimensional travel and high frequency interference deepened. Marinaccio openly shares his thoughts and experiences with what he feels lis likely a portal regularly traveled by interdimensional beings to and from Skinwalker Ranch. Listen for more details and inside scoop on this, the Jersey drones and Marinaccio's own adventures into the desert to site UAP's. Hope you love this fun, intriguing, mind bending interview with one of television's most prolific unexplained producers. Hopefully, Marinaccio will soon turn his talent to the episodic and theatrical!! We all love a good alien movie, don't we? Please remember to like and subscribe to THE SOULFAM PODCAST!!! Thank you. Anna first fell in love with London at her hometown library—its Jane Austen balls a far cry from her life of food stamps and hand-me-downs. But when she finally arrives after college, the real London is a moldy flat and the same paycheck-to-paycheck grind—that fairy-tale life still out of reach. Then Anna meets the Wilders, who fly her to Saint-Tropez to tutor their teenage daughter. Swept up by the sphinxlike elder sister, Anna soon finds herself plunged into a heady whirlpool of parties and excess, a place where confidence is a birthright. There she meets two handsome young men—one who wants to whisk her into his world in a chauffeured car, the other who sees through Anna's struggle to outrun her past. It's like she's stepped into the pages of a glittering new novel, but what will it cost her to play the part?Sparkling with intelligence and insight, All That Life Can Afford (G.P. Putnam's Sons, 2025) peels back the glossy layers of class and privilege, exploring what it means to create a new life for yourself that still honors the one you've left behind. Part 1 We Should All Be Feminists by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie Summary"We Should All Be Feminists" by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie is an essay adapted from her TEDx talk, which provides a personal and passionate perspective on feminism and its relevance in today's world. Key Points of the Essay: Definition of Feminism: Adichie defines feminism as a movement for the social, political, and economic equality of the sexes. She emphasizes that feminism is not about disregarding men but about striving for equity in roles, opportunities, and treatment for both genders. Personal Experiences: Through anecdotes from her life in Nigeria, Adichie highlights the subtle and blatant forms of gender discrimination women face. She recounts experiences from childhood to adulthood that illustrate societal expectations and pressures on women and girls, including how they are often discouraged from pursuing ambitious goals compared to their male counterparts. Cultural Conditioning: Adichie discusses how culture plays a significant role in shaping gender norms, asserting that society raises boys and girls differently, leading to power imbalances. She stresses the importance of awareness of these biases to challenge and change them. Importance of Feminism: The essay argues that everyone—regardless of gender—should be involved in feminist activism. Adichie asserts that true equality would benefit all, leading to a more just society. Challenges to Feminism: Adichie addresses common misconceptions about feminism, including the belief that it is a threat to men. She emphasizes that dismantling patriarchal norms can also free men from toxic expectations placed upon them. Call to Action: The essay concludes with a call for collective action against gender inequality. Adichie advocates for education and dialogue about feminism and encourages individuals to stand up against sexism in their daily lives. Overall, "We Should All Be Feminists" is a compelling argument for gender equality, providing insights into the ways in which society can work towards creating a more equitable world.Part 2 We Should All Be Feminists AuthorChimamanda Ngozi Adichie is a Nigerian author born on September 15, 1977, in Enugu, Nigeria. The trail's name is derived not only from its geographic extent but also from some of its original users. Spaniards referred to a prominent group of Caddo Indians as the Tejas, a word derived from the Caddo term for ‘friend' or ‘ally.' Is nothing sacred? After exploring how AI might steal our writing jobs, we're now testing whether these digital usurpers can replicate our podcasting chemistry too. Google's NotebookLM claims to transform documents into conversations between virtual "hosts," setting up the perfect showdown with our human-led book discussion format. For this AI vs. human battle royale, we revisit our podcast roots with James Gardner's "The Art of Fiction," specifically tackling that mind-exploding (and not in a good way) final chapter on plot. With words like “profluence” and “picaresque” not to mentions some painfully retrograde sexual politics, this chapter is a doozy. Listen as we compare the artificial hosts' takes with our own snarky comments (er…insights) and decide for yourself: can cold, calculating algorithms somehow make Gardner's impenetrable prose not just comprehensible, but actually entertaining?
