GB2RS News Sunday the 22nd of October 2023 The news headlines: RSGB 2023 Convention ARISS contact with St Peter-In-Thanet CE Junior School Tonight@8 webinar The RSGB's 2023 Convention took place last weekend and brought together hundreds of amateurs in person as well as many more across the world who watched the livestream. RSGB General Manager and Convention Chair, Steve Thomas, M1ACB said that in addition to the usual varied programme of lectures, he was delighted as Convention Chair to have led the team that introduced new aspects to the weekend, such as the all-day drop-in Buildathon on Saturday which encouraged people to enjoy making something for themselves, and also to learn how to run a similar event at their local club or group to help others develop practical skills. The RSGB Convention saw presentations about taking amateur radio into schools, young radio amateurs travelling to YOTA camp, as well as the usual mix of fascinating technical talks about many aspects of amateur radio today. There were also more RSGB Committees and Groups at the Convention to highlight the important work that the RSGB does through its volunteers. Steve said that the Convention planning team is already receiving an overwhelming amount of positive feedback, but he encourages anyone who attended the Convention to complete the feedback form if they haven't already done so - go to rsgb.org/feedback and share your thoughts. The Society will share a small number of Convention presentations on YouTube over the coming weeks and will provide many more for members to view as part of the benefit of RSGB membership. In addition, you will be able to watch a series of special interviews that were recorded over the weekend. The interview with the RSGB and IRTS Presidents has been released this week and you can see it on the RSGB YouTube channel and also on the RSGB Convention web page at rsgb.org/convention Children at St Peter-In-Thanet CE Junior School in Broadstairs, Kent had an ‘out of this world' experience this week, with an ARISS contact between the school and NASA astronaut Jasmin Moghbeli, KI5WSL on board the International Space Station. It was an exciting and inspiring day for all involved. RSGB Board Chair Stewart Bryant, G3YSX attended the event and met ESA reserve astronaut Meganne Christian, who encouraged the children to ‘dream big'. The event, which featured on local BBC and ITV news programmes that evening as well as BBC Radio Kent, can be watched on the ARISS YouTube channel. The RSGB polled its Facebook group for new and returning licensees, which showed that basic introductions to contesting and antennas were the top two topics of interest. In October the RSGB ran a Tonight@8 webinar which covered an introduction to contesting, and in November it is focusing on antennas. On Monday the 6th of November, Colin Summers, MM0OPX will give an entry-level introduction to antennas generally, including a focus on end-fed half-wave antennas, transformers, construction and performance. The event promotes friendship and global citizenship and is a brilliant celebration of amateur radio among the Scout Association. Now the radio propagation report, compiled by G0KYA, G3YLA, and G4BAO on Thursday the 19th of October 2023 We had a quieter week, with both lower sunspot numbers and better geomagnetic conditions. The Solar Flux Index was at 135 on Thursday the 19th, down from 156 the week before. Let's hope this is a temporary lull in Solar Cycle 25's progression. We had no M-class or higher flares to contend with and the Kp index was generally below 3 all week. Only on Thursday did things start to become a little more unsettled as the Kp index climbed to 3.67 in the morning, with warnings that worse may be to come due to a coronal mass ejection on the 16th of October. So, the earlier part of the week was best for HF propagation with many stations reporting DX contacts including T2C, a German DXpedition to Tuvalu, and YL2GM's one-person DXpedition to Tristan da Cuhna. It's nice to see DX opening up, especially on the higher bands. Propquest.co.uk reports that, generally, the maximum useable frequency over a 3,000km path remains above 28MHz during daylight hours so make the most of the 10 and 12m bands. The maximum usable frequency, or MUF, is the highest radio frequency that can be used for transmission between two points on the Earth by reflection from the ionosphere. Next week NOAA predicts that the Solar Flux Index will rise to around 145 all week while geomagnetic conditions are predicted to be stable with a Kp around 2 to 3. But, as always, watch out for coronal mass elections and their impact. And now the VHF and up propagation news We are struggling to find anything optimistic regarding Tropo in this unsettled spell of weather and again it may well be down to rain scatter to provide the entertainment. Once out of the summer thunderstorm season, the results are rarely as good, even though you'll be spoiled for choice! There will be a transient weak ridge over some eastern areas on Tuesday, but only acts as a separator between the lows and is not expected to be effective for Tropo. Incidentally, in this fairly typical spell of unsettled autumnal weather, strong winds and heavy rain can be a notable feature and put stress on antennas and coax, so make a note of any weak points and use the next fine spell to put things right! What propagation remains is the usual stop-gap pair of modes – meteor scatter and aurora – both of which could be worth checking during the coming week. A reminder that the Orionids shower, active from the 2nd of October to the 7th of November, peaks today, the 22nd, with an average Zenithal Hourly Rate, or ZHR, of around 20. For EME operators, Moon declination reached minimum on Friday the 20th so the following week will see lengthening Moon windows. Next Thursday's perigee means path losses are at their lowest this week. 144MHz sky noise starts high but falls throughout the coming week remaining low to moderate. And that's all from the propagation team this week.

Et bien dans cet épisode je vous propose de passer 24h, enfin presque, avec une de ces troupes de reconstitution, la Confrérie du Cerbère. Je les ai rencontré lors des fêtes médiévales de Provins, une des plus grandes fêtes médiévales de France, début juin 2023. Une fête médiévale est comme un grand festival où le public est invité à se replonger dans le Moyen Âge avec des spectacles, des animations, des boutiques, et dans la ville en elle même et ses rues médiévales, inscrite au Patrimoine Mondial de l'UNESCO depuis 2001. Mais dans cet épisode, nous n'allons pas directement parlons des fêtes médiévales, mais surtout de la reconstitution historique, sous plein d'aspects. Nous y parlons du combat, de la vie quotidienne, la cuisine, les vêtements, et d'autres choses encore, mais aussi toute la réflexion derrière cette volonté de reconstituer la vie au Moyen Âge. Je remercie bien sûr énormément toute la Confrérie du Cerbère pour leur accueil très chaleureux, vraiment je n'aurais pas pu rêver mieux pour cet épisode. Gister stonden we nog op de top van Le Markstein, een fantastische col in de Vogezen. Na afloop kwam ene Jonas Vingegaard toegelopen naar de equipe van de NOS om even bij te praten met een van onze medewerkers: Tom Dumoulin. Een mooi tafereel om te aanschouwen. Via een bijdrage tussen de zonnebloemen en pizza's in Vittel (met een wachtbiertje) kwamen we aan in Provins. Met vanochtend nog genoeg tijd om even een dik uurtje de benen te strekken. De koloniala projekten i Sverige och utomlands har fått tydliga konturer när de förtrycktas röster kommit till ytan. Nu är det upp till oss att ta del av dem, konstaterar Elin Grelsson. ESSÄ: Detta är en text där skribenten reflekterar över ett ämne eller ett verk. Åsikter som uttrycks är skribentens egna. Essän sändes första gången 2023.Till slut blev det äntligen klart att det skulle avtäckas en ny minnessten på Katarina Kyrkogård i Stockholm. Datumet som bestämdes var den 9 oktober 2023. Stenen tillhör Gustav Badin, med ursprungsnamnet Kwasi. Han föddes omkring år 1750, sannolikt på en av de danska kolonierna i Västindien där hans föräldrar var slavar från Afrika. Vid tio års ålder skeppades han till Sverige och skänktes som en present till drottning Lovisa Ulrika. Han uppfostrades vid Drottningholms slott och arbetade sedan som hovtjänare under hela sin livstid. Han sägs vara begravd på Katarina kyrkogård, men hade tidigare saknat både gravplats och minnessten. Efter att frågan länge drivits av bland andra Afrosvenskarnas riksförbund blev det slutligen av.9 oktober är ett datum valt med omsorg. Det är samma dag som den sista slaven i svensk ägo frigavs på den svenska kolonin S:t Barthélemy år 1847. En koloni som, trots att den var en del av den svenska staten under decennier, ägnats lite uppmärksamhet i den svenska historieskrivningen. Huvuddelen av öns arkivhandlingar finns inte i Sverige, utan blev kvar i huvustaden Gustavia fram till 1930-talet då de transporterades till Guadeloupe och därefter vidare till Aix-en-Provence. Där låg de hundratusentals arkivsidorna från den svenska kolonialtiden i stort sett oanvända fram till 2010-talet.En av dem som då började ägna arkiven uppmärksamhet är historikern Fredrik Thomasson, som särskilt studerat tillvaron på den svenska kolonin utifrån den svarta befolkningen. Det gäller inte minst livsvillkoren för de 300 slavar, som under den period då ön var i svensk ägo ökade till 2500. I handlingarna uppenbarar sig ett osäkert rättssystem, där visst våld mot slavar tillåts och vad som räknas som ”övervåld” är godtyckligt och inte nödvändigtvis inbegriper dödligt våld eller tortyr. Lika godtyckliga är bestraffningarna mot de slavar som exempelvis försvarar sig mot våldet från vita.Men viktigaste av allt är hur Thomasson tydliggör att slavekonomin och våldet var institutionaliserat och sanktionerat av den svenska staten.Behandlingen av, och ointresset för, de mest konkreta spåren från den svenska slavkolonin i Västindien är kanske också signifikant för den koloniala glömska som initiativtagarna bakom Gustav Badins minnessten ville råda bot på. Ett liknande minnesarbete pågår på många håll i den svenska kulturen. I Ann-Helén Laestadius roman ”Straff” skildras en nomadskola på 1950-talet där husmor Rita Olsson styr med tyranniska medel. Här lever små barn på internat långt från sina föräldrar, med bestraffningar och våld från husmor för den som slinter med tungan och talar sitt modersmål samiska i stället för den svenska som de sällan behärskar. Parallellt får vi följa några av barnen trettio år senare, när de vuxit upp och på olika sätt hanterar minnena från skoltiden. Romanen visar både nomadskolans tvångsassimilerande funktion, de spår skolorna har satt i de barn som tvingades vistas där samt den tystnad och skam som omgärdar minnena.Trots att boken är en roman, är verkligheten den skildrar inte påhittad. Och den är bara en av flera uppmärksammade skildringar – fiktiva som dokumentära – av den svenska kolonialismen i Sápmi som började utkomma i Sverige i 2020-talets början. I Elin Anna Labbas bok ”Herrarna satte oss hit” är det tvångsförflyttningarna av samer som står i centrum och i Mats Jonssons grafiska roman ”När vi var samer” är det författarens eget, skogssamiska ursprung. Gemensamt för de tre böckerna är hur de synliggör kolonialmaktens rasbiologiska syn på vem som var riktig same och hur ett samiskt liv skulle levas. Endast renägande samers barn sattes i nomadskola eftersom det var de som var ”riktiga samer”, de skogsägande samerna fråntogs all mark och raderades ur historieskrivningen och tvångsförflyttningarna skedde utifrån en föreställning om hur samer skulle röra sig utan att störa nationalstaternas gränser.Precis som i Thomassons bok om S:t Barthélemy framträder i de samiska skildringarna ett Sverige som kolonialmakt utifrån de förtrycktas blick. Det är en obekväm blick för den svenska självbilden. Fredrik Thomasson reflekterar över påståendet att S:t Barthélemy inte kan sägas vara en riktig svensk koloni, eftersom svenskar endast utgjorde en liten del av öns befolkning. Han visar dock att nationsanknytningen var tydlig då tjänstemännen kom från Sverige, lagarna undertecknades härifrån och de svenska myndigheterna var väl informerade om vad som skedde i kolonin. Sveriges mål med att skaffa sig en karibisk koloni var densamma som för andra europeiska stater: att förbättra sin ekonomi och delta i expansionen i andra världsdelar. Det fanns också långt gångna planer och ambitioner om att delta i plantageekonomin och erhålla ytterligare kolonier, försök som pågick in på 1800-talet. 1813 tilldelades Sverige Guadeloupe av Storbritannien, men redan 1814 återgick den i fransk ägo efter freden i Paris.Det var med andra ord praktiska omständigheter och inte en frånvaro av ambitioner som gjorde att Sverige aldrig blev en större kolonialmakt. Thomasson kallar det för en ”dubbel glömska”: både en minnesförlust gällande den svenska statens missgärningar och en bristande insikt om dess koloniala sinnelag. Det är föreställningar som fanns i Sverige och de lever också kvar än idag. I en essä resonerar författaren Elin Anna Labba kring begreppet ”sameby”. På sydsamiska säger man sïjte, ett ord som betyder hem, sammanslutning eller samisk bygd. Sïjte är den gamla organisationen som Sápmi själv skapade. När svenska staten organiserade om utifrån sina begrepp och kartor blev sïjten ett så kallat ”lappskatteland”, sedan kallades det ”lappbyn” vilket idag blivit begreppet ”sameby”. I texten intervjuas Malin Brännström, forskare vid Umeå universitet, som bland annat säger såhär om konstruktionen av samebyn:”Det bygger på en ganska svensk föreställning om hur saker måste arrangeras för att det ska fungera. Det måste finnas ett visst antal renar, en styrelse och tydliga gränser. Jag skulle nog vilja säga att det ibland känns som Europas koloniala gränsdragning i Afrika. I en svensk kontext har man behov av att dra skarpa linjer på en karta och bestämma att på den här sidan linjen är den och på den andra sidan linjen är någon annan. Medan renskötseln i sin natur är otroligt flexibel(…)”Sida vid sida med avtäckandet av minnesstenar pågår fortfarande ett arbete med att frigöra sig från kolonialismens språk och kartritande. Finally, the flower's fragrance and colours may be sensational, but its taste is too. In the medieval town of Provins, in the Seine-et-Marne region, rose petal jelly is a must for discerning palates.

Kỵ binh, chiến binh Viking, hay hải tặc, người dân của thành phố Provins, cách thủ đô Paris khoảng 100 km, dường như không quá xa lạ với những người hóa trang thành những nhân vật thời Trung cổ đi lại trong thành phố. Người mặc áo lính, vác khiên vác giáo, người thì đội mũ hải tặc, hay chỉ đơn giản là mặc những trang phục cổ xưa, hoà vào không khí lễ hội hóa trang, trong thời tiết giá lạnh của những ngày Giáng Sinh đang đến gần. Provins thường được biết đến với lễ hội Trung cổ được tổ chức vào mùa xuân và mùa hè, thu hút hơn 90 000 khách du lịch đến chỉ trong hai ngày cuối tuần. Vào năm 2009, chợ Noel Trung cổ vào mùa đông được tổ chức, khiến thành phố có niên đại từ thế kỷ XI như đi ngược dòng thời gian, trở về quá khứ. Chuyến du hành về thời Trung cổ Kể từ khi đại dịch Covid-19 bùng nổ cách đây 2 năm, đây là lần đầu tiên chợ Noel Trung cổ mở cửa trở lại đón du khách trong hai ngày 10-11/12. Bên cạnh những gian hàng bày bán như ở các chợ Noel truyền thống, trong dịp này, khoảng 60 gian hàng được mở ra, bày bán hoặc giới thiệu những nét văn hoá Trung cổ, đưa khách vào một cuộc du hành thời gian. Các hoạt động giải trí bên lề cũng được tổ chức, như bắn cung, các tiết mục biểu diễn nhảy, phun lửa, đánh trận giả và kể chuyện cổ tích cho trẻ nhỏ. Chợ Noel Trung cổ ở Provins không chỉ đặc sắc bởi cách hóa trang của những người đến xem, mà còn nhờ vào chính những chủ gian hàng nhập vai, kể lại một câu chuyện về thời xưa, kể về nhân vật mà họ thủ vai. Ông Gael Kossa cho biết: “Hiện tôi là một người Scandinave, vào thế kỷ thứ IX ở Đan Mạch, chính xác là vào năm 870, sau cuộc viễn chinh vĩ đại của quân đội Viking. Tôi đang mặc quần áo dân sự, nên có thể thấy tôi không phải là một quý tộc, ngay cả tôi nghĩ tôi đang mặc rất nhiều đồ có màu đỏ.” Ông Gael thuộc hiệp hội Germanicus, chuyên tổ chức các trò chơi cổ xưa, chủ yếu là trò chơi chiến tranh. Nhưng phải cần khoảng 60 người chơi, họ sẽ lựa chọn đội chơi của mình cũng như nhân vật. Chúng tôi chuẩn bị trang phục cho họ hoàn toàn, từ quần áo, vũ khí, áo giáp. Chúng tôi đưa ra những câu đố cần phải giải mã để tìm được vàng, nhưng cũng có thể tìm vàng bằng cách khác, đó là kết liễu những đối thủ.” "Đặc sản" Trung cổ tại chợ Noel Tại trung tâm quảng trường Saint Quiriace, các thương nhân bắc bếp lửa, nấu rượu vang nóng, thoang thoảng mùi quế hồi. Rượu được múc từ các nồi bắc trên bếp củi, chứ không phải từ bình như tại các chợ Noel truyền thống. Các gian hàng bán đồ tại chợ cũng rất khác lạ. Thay vì bán đồ trang sức hay các loại bánh ngọt thường ăn vào dịp năm mới, các gian hàng ở chợ Noel Trung cổ bày bán cung tên, đồ hoá trang, áo choàng, hay những vật dụng trang trí thủ công. Đôi khi, du khách sẽ bắt gặp một nhóm nhạc chơi những điệu nhạc xưa cổ, hay một nhóm người mặc đồ truyền thống từ vùng Bretagne, kéo các du khách vào nhảy cùng họ. Đối với những người thích phong cách Trung cổ châu Âu, đây là dịp để diện những bộ trang phục theo chủ đề. Như trường hợp của bà Laetitia, cùng chồng hoá trang thành cướp biển đến chợ Noel. “Chúng tôi đến chợ, vì đây là sự kiện dành cho những người thích hoá trang thời Trung cổ là chính, nhưng vì đây là dịp Noel nên làm được cả hai thì càng tốt. Chúng tôi có rất nhiều trang phục theo kiểu Trung cổ, có khi là cần cả một gian phòng mới có thể cất hết các trang phục cổ của chúng tôi.” Còn cô Suzan, khoác áo choàng lông màu trắng, tự hào khoe bộ trang phục mà mẹ cô đã tự tay may cho cô. Cô chọn vải và chọn mẫu, còn mẹ cô thì vốn thích may vá và làm những trang phục cổ xưa. Bà đã dành 3 tháng để hoàn thành chúng. Cô Suzan cho biết : “Có lần tôi đã phát hiện ra là có một chợ Noel với chủ đề Trung cổ. Thông thường thì các lễ hội hoá trang Trung cổ thường là vào mùa hè nóng nực. Từ búa cho đến máy quạt lửa, tất cả đều là những công cụ thô sơ thời xưa. Khăn trùm đầu, trong bộ trang phục màu xám, phong cách Trung cổ, một người thợ rèn giải thích với những người đứng xem quá trình tạo ra một mũi tên : “Tôi vừa cho miếng sắt này vào lửa và hiện vẫn còn nóng, miếng kim loại này càng được tinh luyện thì càng nóng. Bây giờ tôi sẽ đập bẹp xuống, và kéo dài phía trên, sau đó cuộn tròn đầu mũi tên lại, để làm giá đỡ, gắn đầu gỗ vào.” Những người thợ rèn này làm việc cho hiệp hội “La Forge du Berry”, thường có mặt tại nhiều lễ hội khác nhau, để giới thiệu các kỹ nghệ rèn sắt từ thời Trung cổ cho công chúng. Chủ tịch của hiệp hội, ông Cyril De Ballegon, cho biết “làm nghề rèn sắt, giống như là thực hiện một giấc mơ của trẻ thơ”, qua những câu chuyện cổ tích. Ông Cyril cho rằng việc bảo tồn và duy trì nghề này rất quan trọng. Hiệp hội của ông gồm dưới 10 người, và ông tự hào nói đã thành công truyền nghề, truyền đam mê rèn sắt cho những người trẻ. Đó chính là những người hiện đang rèn sắt, giới thiệu kỹ nghệ này cho công chúng ở Provins. Ông Cyril cho biết thêm : “Chúng tôi đã chứng kiến nhiều lễ hội biến mất, những nơi mà chúng tôi đã từng tham gia. Thật đáng buồn. Nhưng cũng có những lễ hội vẫn tồn tại như ở Provins. Sau Covid, chúng tôi dần dần quay trở lại công việc của mình và chúng tôi hy vọng rằng có thể tiếp tục phát triển, truyền bá kiến thức của chúng tôi. Tôi cho rằng việc bảo tồn những kiến thức kỹ nghệ cổ xưa này rất quan trọng bởi chúng ta luôn có nguy cơ phải quay trở lại quá khứ, và phải rèn sắt như tổ tiên của chúng ta. Lỡ có một ngày không còn máy tính hoặc các thứ khác thì sao. Điều này hoàn toàn có thể xảy ra. Do vậy, ai có bàn tay khéo kéo đều có thể xoay sở tốt hơn trong tình trạng này hơn là những người chỉ biết đến công nghệ.” Không chỉ bởi âm thanh búa đập vào sắt kêu inh ỏi, mà còn cả những ngọn lửa bắt mắt, sưởi ấm tiết trời lạnh 0 độ ở Provins, gian hàng rèn sắt của ông Cyril có lẽ là khu vực thu hút đông khách nhất, cả người lớn lẫn trẻ nhỏ. Một du khách nói: “Tôi rất thích những đồ vật mà có một câu chuyện đằng sau, nhất là khi chúng được chế tạo bởi một người đặt niềm đam mê tình yêu và tài năng vào trong đó.” Trong đám đông đứng trước “xưởng rèn” của ông Cyril, bà Dominique và chồng cũng có mặt. Bà cho rằng : “Chợ Noel Trung cổ sống động hơn và thú vị hơn. Chợ Noel hiện nay thì chỉ có tiền và vì tiền. Trong khi ở đây, thì mọi người ai cũng vui vẻ. Tôi thấy gian hàng của ông thợ rèn là rất thú vị, chúng tôi đã dành khá nhiều thời gian ở đó. Bởi vì ngày xưa, thợ rèn là một người có vai trò quan trọng, một người có địa vị trong làng, là người thầy của lửa.” Provins - trung tâm thương mại của châu Âu thời Trung cổ Cách đây hơn chục thế kỷ, Provins được cho là nằm ở ngã tư của các tuyến đường thương mại kết nối châu Âu. Vào thế kỷ 12 và 13, Provins là một trung tâm thương mại bậc nhất, có tiền tệ riêng và nổi tiếng với những hội chợ Champagne. Thành phố Trung cổ được quy hoạch để phục vụ nhiều thương nhân : đường được mở rộng cho các đoàn xe đi qua, nhiều kho hàng được xây dựng để cho thuê. Khi đó, Provins có vài chục nghìn cư dân và cũng nổi tiếng với nghề sản xuất rèm cửa và buôn bán đồ da, sắt và dao kéo. Nay Provins không còn là một trung tâm kinh tế, mà chỉ là một thành phố nhỏ với khoảng 12 000 dân. Tuy nhiên, nhà thờ và những nơi sinh hoạt tôn giáo cũng như các hầm rượu từ hàng chục thế kỷ trước và đặc biệt là lễ hội Trung cổ vẫn còn được gìn giữ nguyên vẹn. Vào năm 2001, tổ chức Giáo dục, Khoa học và Văn hóa Liên Hiệp Quốc (UNESCO) đã công nhận Provins là một trong những di sản của thế giới cần được bảo vệ.

Lỡ có một ngày không còn máy tính hoặc các thứ khác thì sao. Điều này hoàn toàn có thể xảy ra. Do vậy, ai có bàn tay khéo kéo đều có thể xoay sở tốt hơn trong tình trạng này hơn là những người chỉ biết đến công nghệ.” Không chỉ bởi âm thanh búa đập vào sắt kêu inh ỏi, mà còn cả những ngọn lửa bắt mắt, sưởi ấm tiết trời lạnh 0 độ ở Provins, gian hàng rèn sắt của ông Cyril có lẽ là khu vực thu hút đông khách nhất, cả người lớn lẫn trẻ nhỏ. Một du khách nói: “Tôi rất thích những đồ vật mà có một câu chuyện đằng sau, nhất là khi chúng được chế tạo bởi một người đặt niềm đam mê tình yêu và tài năng vào trong đó.” Trong đám đông đứng trước “xưởng rèn” của ông Cyril, bà Dominique và chồng cũng có mặt. Bà cho rằng : “Chợ Noel Trung cổ sống động hơn và thú vị hơn. Chợ Noel hiện nay thì chỉ có tiền và vì tiền. Trong khi ở đây, thì mọi người ai cũng vui vẻ. Tôi thấy gian hàng của ông thợ rèn là rất thú vị, chúng tôi đã dành khá nhiều thời gian ở đó. Bởi vì ngày xưa, thợ rèn là một người có vai trò quan trọng, một người có địa vị trong làng, là người thầy của lửa.” Provins - trung tâm thương mại của châu Âu thời Trung cổ Cách đây hơn chục thế kỷ, Provins được cho là nằm ở ngã tư của các tuyến đường thương mại kết nối châu Âu. Vào thế kỷ 12 và 13, Provins là một trung tâm thương mại bậc nhất, có tiền tệ riêng và nổi tiếng với những hội chợ Champagne. Thành phố Trung cổ được quy hoạch để phục vụ nhiều thương nhân : đường được mở rộng cho các đoàn xe đi qua, nhiều kho hàng được xây dựng để cho thuê. Khi đó, Provins có vài chục nghìn cư dân và cũng nổi tiếng với nghề sản xuất rèm cửa và buôn bán đồ da, sắt và dao kéo. Nay Provins không còn là một trung tâm kinh tế, mà chỉ là một thành phố nhỏ với khoảng 12 000 dân. Tuy nhiên, nhà thờ và những nơi sinh hoạt tôn giáo cũng như các hầm rượu từ hàng chục thế kỷ trước và đặc biệt là lễ hội Trung cổ vẫn còn được gìn giữ nguyên vẹn. Vào năm 2001, tổ chức Giáo dục, Khoa học và Văn hóa Liên Hiệp Quốc (UNESCO) đã công nhận Provins là một trong những di sản của thế giới cần được bảo vệ.

Vài nghìn du khách đã đến lâu đài Versailles tối 15/08/2022 để thưởng thức chương trình Nhạc nước, đêm đặc biệt ngày lễ Đức Mẹ lên trời. Bắt đầu từ 20 giờ 30 nhưng ngay từ 19 giờ, dòng người đổ về lâu đài chờ màn trình diễn mãn nhãn. Không còn dấu hiệu của khẩu trang, nước khử khuẩn, cuộc sống như trở về thời trước đại dịch. Pháp mừng vì tìm lại được nhịp độ năm 2019, dù vẫn vắng bóng khách Trung Quốc. Như mùa hè hàng năm trừ những năm bị dịch Covid-19, vào tối thứ Bẩy hàng tuần, du khách có thể thả hồn trong tiếng nhạc cổ điển, nhẹ nhàng dạo bước trên những lối đi dưới tán cây và trầm trồ trước màn vũ đạo của nước trong lâu đài Versailles. Tất cả đều được tái hiện như thời Vua Mặt trời (Louis XIV), theo đúng truyền thống và tinh thần từ thế kỷ 17-18. Kết thúc đêm thần tiên là màn pháo hoa rực rỡ, kết hợp với những ngọn đuốc rực lửa và drone xếp hình. Khách Mỹ, châu Âu chiếm đa số du khách nước ngoài đến Pháp mùa hè năm 2022. Có thể nhận thấy điều này trong khu vườn rộng lớn của lâu đài Versailles qua đủ ngôn ngữ, tiếng Anh, tiếng Ý, tiếng Đức, tiếng Tây Ban Nha… và cả tiếng Việt. Cô Thanh Vân, một du khách Việt Nam, lần đầu đến Pháp và gặp lại con cháu sau 3 năm dịch bệnh, cảm thấy may mắn vì được du lịch theo cách khác, không vội vàng như đa số du khách Việt đến Pháp lần đầu : « Sang bên này thăm con cháu nhưng lại thành lợi thế khi mình chưa bao giờ đặt chân đến Paris và có các con ở bên này dẫn đi chơi. Thật tuyệt vời, không có gì hơn khi đặt chân đến Paris. Sắp tới tôi rất thích quay lại và quay lại liên tục Paris để chiêm ngưỡng hết mọi khu du lịch ở đây. Tôi sẽ rất thích được đi du lịch dọc đất nước Pháp để hiểu được văn hóa và những nét cổ kính ở Pháp ». Khách châu Âu và Bắc Mỹ cứu mùa du lịch của Pháp Ngoài những công trình kiến trúc, cảnh quan đa dạng khắp nước, du lịch Pháp còn nổi tiếng ở những sự kiện văn hóa-lịch sử như vậy : các buổi trình diễn ở Puy du Fou, Fête de la Moisson (Hội Mùa gặt) ở Provins… các liên hoan kịch, phim hay lễ hội âm nhạc. Mùa du lịch 2022 cũng bắt đầu sớm hơn một tuần, ngay từ ngày 05/07 so với ngày 14/07 hàng năm, theo nhận định trên đài France Info của bà Virginie Gendrot, cố vấn cho văn phòng Pro-tourisme. Số lượng khách nước ngoài trở lại Pháp cao hơn và nhanh hơn dự đoán đã khiến ông Serge Cachan, chủ tịch chuỗi khách sạn Astotel, bất ngờ khi trả lời AP ngày 01/07 : « Tất cả các chuyên gia đều nói rằng phải chờ hai, ba, bốn năm nữa mới tìm lại được nhịp độ những năm 2019, 2018. Đó là những năm thành công. Vậy mà, chỉ cần vài tuần, vài tháng, kể từ ngày 15/02, không những hồi phục mà còn vượt qua cả kết quả tốt nhất mà chúng tôi chưa từng có ở Paris về mặt du lịch. Tôi nghĩ là khắp nước Pháp đều như thế và có thể là nhiều nước cũng vậy ». Dù chưa có tổng kết chính thức cho mùa hè 2022, nhưng tất cả các vùng ở Pháp đều ghi nhận số lượng khách tăng trong tháng 7, ví dụ vùng Bretagne tăng 9%, trong đó khách nước ngoài chủ yếu là Đức, Hà Lan và Anh. Tỉ lệ đặt phòng tại thành phố Strasbourg cũng từ 80-90% trong tháng 7, tương đương với trước Covid, nhờ khách hàng truyền thống quay lại trong khi du khách Pháp cũng đông hơn từ 3 năm nay. Ông Serge Cachan giải thích tiếp : « Trước tiên, rất nhiều người Pháp ở thành phố đặt phòng khách sạn vào cuối tuần. Tiếp theo là người châu Âu, vì khách Trung Quốc không tới và người châu Âu không đi được Trung Quốc. Vậy thì họ đi đâu ? Họ ở lại châu Âu. Điều này giải thích cho xu hướng tăng ở các nước châu Âu. Và thứ ba là du khách Mỹ. Họ thích Paris và họ đến thường xuyên hơn, thậm chí mới chỉ đến cách đây 2, 3 năm ». Tại vùng Ile-de-France nơi có thủ đô Paris, doanh thu hè 2022 đã vượt qua mùa du lịch 2019 trước khủng hoảng dịch tễ. Thực ra, hoạt động du lịch phục hồi ngay từ mùa xuân, chủ yếu là khách châu Âu từ giữa tháng 03 đến 05. Đến tháng 07, số khách châu Âu còn cao hơn năm 2019. Tiếp theo, khách du lịch Bắc Mỹ, nổi tiếng có mức chi cao, cũng trở lại đông đảo. Khách sạn và nhà hàng có lẽ là hai ngành mừng nhất : Số lượng đặt bàn ở nhà hàng mùa hè này đã tăng 35%. Ngay từ tháng 06, tỉ lệ đặt phòng lên đến 88,6%. Ông Serge Cachan, chủ tịch chuỗi khách sạn Astotel, không giấu vui mừng : « Ai có thể nói rằng cách đây 6 tháng, rằng tháng 05/2022, chúng tôi đã vượt qua tỉ lệ đặt của năm 2018, 2019 ? Khi mỗi chuyên gia và nhà phân tích về du lịch, mỗi dữ liệu khoa học dự đoán là « phải chờ đến « năm 2024 », nếu chúng ta may mắn, chúng ta mới đạt được mức độ trước đó. Phải mất ít nhất trong 3 hay 4 năm để tăng trở lại ». Thế mà không, thậm chí còn không mất đến 3 tháng ». Vắng bóng khách Trung Quốc Trong tháng 07/2022, hai sân bay lớn của Paris, Orly và Charles-de-Gaulle đã đạt được 84,9% lượng lưu thông tháng 07/2019, riêng sân bay Orly là 99%. Tuy nhiên, lưu thông với châu Á-Thái Bình Dương vẫn còn rất thấp, chỉ đạt khoảng 36,1% so với cùng kỳ năm 2019. Nhìn vào chiến dịch Zero Covid của chủ tịch Tập Cận Bình thì người dân Trung Quốc còn lâu mới được du lịch nước ngoài. Trước khi xảy ra đại dịch, có khoảng 1 triệu du khách Trung Quốc đến vùng Ile-de-France hàng năm. Khách Nga, với khoảng 300.000 người hàng năm, cũng vắng mặt mùa hè 2022. Ông Serge Cachan nhận định : « Mặc dù buồn vì phải thốt ra từ « chiến tranh » trong thời gian gần đây vì những chuyện đang xảy ra, nhưng đúng là chúng ta đã thoát được cuộc chiến chống Covid. Tôi nói với nụ cười trên môi, chúng ta đang sống trong những năm tháng điên rồ. Có nghĩa là như một kiểu hồi sinh sau hai năm thất vọng, bực bội, một phần người dân Pháp và thế giới gần như bị Covid giam hãm, bỗng được tự do phần nào. Và thế là có sự bùng nổ trong tất cả các lĩnh vực ». Paris trong mắt du khách Việt Rất nhiều du khách Việt Nam như cô Thanh Vân đã chọn châu Âu làm điểm xuất phát cho kỳ nghỉ hè sau nhiều năm Việt Nam đóng cửa chống Covid, trong khi châu Âu đã giảm các biện pháp phòng dịch. Số hồ sơ xin visa Schengen tại đại sứ quán Pháp tại Hà Nội tăng đột biến trong mùa hè 2022 khiến thời gian xét hồ sơ có thể bị kéo dài, theo thông tin trên trang Facebook của đại sứ quán Pháp tại Hà Nội. Hầu hết du khách Việt Nam đến Pháp chọn Paris là điểm dừng chân chính, sau đó di chuyển xuống miền Nam hoặc sang các nước lân cận như Đức, Hà Lan, Đan Mạch, đặc biệt là Thụy Sĩ, hiện trở thành trào lưu check-in từ sau thành công của bộ phim truyền hình Hàn Quốc Hạ Cánh Nơi Anh (Crash Landing On You). Paris trong mắt họ cũng có nhiều ý kiến trái chiều. Đa số là thiện cảm, yêu kinh đô Ánh sáng, như ý kiến của cô Thanh Vân : « Cảm thấy Paris rất đẹp và cổ kính. Con người rất lịch sự và mọi người rất thân thiện. Quang cảnh thực sự là có một không hai trên thế giới : có thể thăm tháp Eiffel, thăm Nhà thờ Đức Bà Paris, thăm bảo tàng Louvre đẹp nhất thế giới và đại lộ đẹp nhất thế giới, rồi Khải hoàn môn. Rất đẹp ! Rất cổ kính ! Đi du lịch ở Paris nếu vào mùa hè, thời tiết rất đẹp. Trời nắng nhưng là nắng rất dễ chịu và khi vào trong nhà thì cảm thấy như đang ở cuối thu ở Việt Nam. Rất là mát mẻ ». Trộm cắp, cướp giật là ác mộng của khách nước ngoài, đặc biệt là khách châu Á, luôn bị tội phạm « ưu tiên » nhắm đến do nghĩ mang nhiều tiền mặt và hàng hiệu. Trên trang Facebook Du Lịch Châu Âu, nơi chia sẻ hình ảnh, trải nghiệm du lịch châu Âu, không thiếu bài chia sẻ về cách phòng chống cướp giật ở Paris. Phải nói rằng đây là vấn nạn lớn nhất cho Paris. Trong hai năm hạn chế đi lại vì dịch Covid, Paris vắng khách du lịch, tội phạm nhắm vào người dân Pháp, mở rộng hoạt động sang những tuyến tầu điện ngầm không phải là địa bàn thông thường. Một số du khách khác thấy Paris bẩn, bề mặt nhiều công trình nhuốm đen, đi lại khó khăn vì nhiều tuyến giao thông công cộng bị đóng cửa sửa chữa. Phải nói rằng đây là một « đặc sản rất Paris » : các cơ quan quản lý giao thông công cộng đều chờ người dân Paris và vùng phụ cận đi nghỉ hè để sửa chữa từ khoảng giữa tháng 7 đến giữa tháng 8. Và du khách nước ngoài được trải nghiệm khổ ải vì tầu xe. Một hiện tượng khác, được báo 20 Minutes ngày 27/07 nêu lên, là « hội chứng Paris », chủ yếu liên quan đến du khách nữ Nhật Bản, họ bị khủng hoảng, giam mình trong khách sạn. Sau thành công của bộ phim truyền hình Emily in Paris (Emlily ở Paris) trên Netflix, đông đảo du khách nước ngoài đến Paris để chụp hình check-in tại những địa điểm mà nhân vật chính Emily từng đi qua. Thế nhưng, giữa phim ảnh và thực tế là cả một hố sâu và đây là một trong những yếu tố có thể gây « hội chứng Paris », từng được nhà tâm thần học Hiroaki Ôta giải thích trong một bài báo năm 2004 : « Sự thất vọng liên quan đến việc tiếp xúc với thực tế hàng ngày cũng là một yếu tố của sự khó hiểu và lo lắng, cũng như vỡ mộng và trầm cảm. Hình ảnh khuôn mẫu của Paris, thành phố tiêu thụ hàng xa xỉ, được các nguồn tin tức truyền tải rộng rãi, không đúng với cuộc sống hàng ngày : không phải tất cả chúng ta khoác trên mình thương hiệu nổi tiếng, cuộc sống của chúng ta không chỉ nhàn rỗi và văn hóa, sự lịch sự, trau chuốt, galant không tồn tại lâu ». Paris có lẽ cũng như nhiều thành phố lớn khác trên thế giới, nơi cần có thời gian để cảm nhận cuộc sống. Paris không thể đẹp khi chỉ cố đến nhiều địa điểm nhất để check-in, hay ngắm từ cửa sổ ô tô. Paris không chỉ có tháp Eiffel, Khải Hoàn Môn, đại lộ Champs-Elysée, đồi Montmartre, mà còn có những khu làng trong phố. Có lẽ Paris sẽ đẹp khi du khách thả bước tản bộ, không vội check-in.

Thật tuyệt vời, không có gì hơn khi đặt chân đến Paris. Sắp tới tôi rất thích quay lại và quay lại liên tục Paris để chiêm ngưỡng hết mọi khu du lịch ở đây. Khách châu Âu và Bắc Mỹ cứu mùa du lịch của Pháp Ngoài những công trình kiến trúc, cảnh quan đa dạng khắp nước, du lịch Pháp còn nổi tiếng ở những sự kiện văn hóa-lịch sử như vậy : các buổi trình diễn ở Puy du Fou, Fête de la Moisson (Hội Mùa gặt) ở Provins… các liên hoan kịch, phim hay lễ hội âm nhạc. Mùa du lịch 2022 cũng bắt đầu sớm hơn một tuần, ngay từ ngày 05/07 so với ngày 14/07 hàng năm, theo nhận định trên đài France Info của bà Virginie Gendrot, cố vấn cho văn phòng Pro-tourisme. Số lượng khách nước ngoài trở lại Pháp cao hơn và nhanh hơn dự đoán đã khiến ông Serge Cachan, chủ tịch chuỗi khách sạn Astotel, bất ngờ khi trả lời AP ngày 01/07 : « Tất cả các chuyên gia đều nói rằng phải chờ hai, ba, bốn năm nữa mới tìm lại được nhịp độ những năm 2019, 2018. Đó là những năm thành công. Vậy mà, chỉ cần vài tuần, vài tháng, kể từ ngày 15/02, không những hồi phục mà còn vượt qua cả kết quả tốt nhất mà chúng tôi chưa từng có ở Paris về mặt du lịch. Tôi nghĩ là khắp nước Pháp đều như thế và có thể là nhiều nước cũng vậy ». Dù chưa có tổng kết chính thức cho mùa hè 2022, nhưng tất cả các vùng ở Pháp đều ghi nhận số lượng khách tăng trong tháng 7, ví dụ vùng Bretagne tăng 9%, trong đó khách nước ngoài chủ yếu là Đức, Hà Lan và Anh. Tỉ lệ đặt phòng tại thành phố Strasbourg cũng từ 80-90% trong tháng 7, tương đương với trước Covid, nhờ khách hàng truyền thống quay lại trong khi du khách Pháp cũng đông hơn từ 3 năm nay. Ông Serge Cachan giải thích tiếp : « Trước tiên, rất nhiều người Pháp ở thành phố đặt phòng khách sạn vào cuối tuần. Tiếp theo là người châu Âu, vì khách Trung Quốc không tới và người châu Âu không đi được Trung Quốc. Vậy thì họ đi đâu ? Họ ở lại châu Âu. Điều này giải thích cho xu hướng tăng ở các nước châu Âu. Và thứ ba là du khách Mỹ. Họ thích Paris và họ đến thường xuyên hơn, thậm chí mới chỉ đến cách đây 2, 3 năm ». Tại vùng Ile-de-France nơi có thủ đô Paris, doanh thu hè 2022 đã vượt qua mùa du lịch 2019 trước khủng hoảng dịch tễ. Thực ra, hoạt động du lịch phục hồi ngay từ mùa xuân, chủ yếu là khách châu Âu từ giữa tháng 03 đến 05. Đến tháng 07, số khách châu Âu còn cao hơn năm 2019. Tiếp theo, khách du lịch Bắc Mỹ, nổi tiếng có mức chi cao, cũng trở lại đông đảo. Khách sạn và nhà hàng có lẽ là hai ngành mừng nhất : Số lượng đặt bàn ở nhà hàng mùa hè này đã tăng 35%. Ngay từ tháng 06, tỉ lệ đặt phòng lên đến 88,6%. Ông Serge Cachan, chủ tịch chuỗi khách sạn Astotel, không giấu vui mừng : « Ai có thể nói rằng cách đây 6 tháng, rằng tháng 05/2022, chúng tôi đã vượt qua tỉ lệ đặt của năm 2018, 2019 ? Khi mỗi chuyên gia và nhà phân tích về du lịch, mỗi dữ liệu khoa học dự đoán là « phải chờ đến « năm 2024 », nếu chúng ta may mắn, chúng ta mới đạt được mức độ trước đó. Phải mất ít nhất trong 3 hay 4 năm để tăng trở lại ». Thế mà không, thậm chí còn không mất đến 3 tháng ». Vắng bóng khách Trung Quốc Trong tháng 07/2022, hai sân bay lớn của Paris, Orly và Charles-de-Gaulle đã đạt được 84,9% lượng lưu thông tháng 07/2019, riêng sân bay Orly là 99%. Tuy nhiên, lưu thông với châu Á-Thái Bình Dương vẫn còn rất thấp, chỉ đạt khoảng 36,1% so với cùng kỳ năm 2019. Nhìn vào chiến dịch Zero Covid của chủ tịch Tập Cận Bình thì người dân Trung Quốc còn lâu mới được du lịch nước ngoài. Trước khi xảy ra đại dịch, có khoảng 1 triệu du khách Trung Quốc đến vùng Ile-de-France hàng năm. Khách Nga, với khoảng 300.000 người hàng năm, cũng vắng mặt mùa hè 2022. Ông Serge Cachan nhận định : « Mặc dù buồn vì phải thốt ra từ « chiến tranh » trong thời gian gần đây vì những chuyện đang xảy ra, nhưng đúng là chúng ta đã thoát được cuộc chiến chống Covid. Tôi nói với nụ cười trên môi, chúng ta đang sống trong những năm tháng điên rồ. Có nghĩa là như một kiểu hồi sinh sau hai năm thất vọng, bực bội, một phần người dân Pháp và thế giới gần như bị Covid giam hãm, bỗng được tự do phần nào. Và thế là có sự bùng nổ trong tất cả các lĩnh vực ». Paris trong mắt du khách Việt Rất nhiều du khách Việt Nam như cô Thanh Vân đã chọn châu Âu làm điểm xuất phát cho kỳ nghỉ hè sau nhiều năm Việt Nam đóng cửa chống Covid, trong khi châu Âu đã giảm các biện pháp phòng dịch. Số hồ sơ xin visa Schengen tại đại sứ quán Pháp tại Hà Nội tăng đột biến trong mùa hè 2022 khiến thời gian xét hồ sơ có thể bị kéo dài, theo thông tin trên trang Facebook của đại sứ quán Pháp tại Hà Nội. Hầu hết du khách Việt Nam đến Pháp chọn Paris là điểm dừng chân chính, sau đó di chuyển xuống miền Nam hoặc sang các nước lân cận như Đức, Hà Lan, Đan Mạch, đặc biệt là Thụy Sĩ, hiện trở thành trào lưu check-in từ sau thành công của bộ phim truyền hình Hàn Quốc Hạ Cánh Nơi Anh (Crash Landing On You). Paris trong mắt họ cũng có nhiều ý kiến trái chiều. Đa số là thiện cảm, yêu kinh đô Ánh sáng, như ý kiến của cô Thanh Vân : « Cảm thấy Paris rất đẹp và cổ kính. Con người rất lịch sự và mọi người rất thân thiện. Quang cảnh thực sự là có một không hai trên thế giới : có thể thăm tháp Eiffel, thăm Nhà thờ Đức Bà Paris, thăm bảo tàng Louvre đẹp nhất thế giới và đại lộ đẹp nhất thế giới, rồi Khải hoàn môn. Rất đẹp ! Rất cổ kính ! Đi du lịch ở Paris nếu vào mùa hè, thời tiết rất đẹp. Trời nắng nhưng là nắng rất dễ chịu và khi vào trong nhà thì cảm thấy như đang ở cuối thu ở Việt Nam. Rất là mát mẻ ». Trộm cắp, cướp giật là ác mộng của khách nước ngoài, đặc biệt là khách châu Á, luôn bị tội phạm « ưu tiên » nhắm đến do nghĩ mang nhiều tiền mặt và hàng hiệu. Trên trang Facebook Du Lịch Châu Âu, nơi chia sẻ hình ảnh, trải nghiệm du lịch châu Âu, không thiếu bài chia sẻ về cách phòng chống cướp giật ở Paris. Phải nói rằng đây là vấn nạn lớn nhất cho Paris. Trong hai năm hạn chế đi lại vì dịch Covid, Paris vắng khách du lịch, tội phạm nhắm vào người dân Pháp, mở rộng hoạt động sang những tuyến tầu điện ngầm không phải là địa bàn thông thường. Một số du khách khác thấy Paris bẩn, bề mặt nhiều công trình nhuốm đen, đi lại khó khăn vì nhiều tuyến giao thông công cộng bị đóng cửa sửa chữa. Phải nói rằng đây là một « đặc sản rất Paris » : các cơ quan quản lý giao thông công cộng đều chờ người dân Paris và vùng phụ cận đi nghỉ hè để sửa chữa từ khoảng giữa tháng 7 đến giữa tháng 8. Và du khách nước ngoài được trải nghiệm khổ ải vì tầu xe. Một hiện tượng khác, được báo 20 Minutes ngày 27/07 nêu lên, là « hội chứng Paris », chủ yếu liên quan đến du khách nữ Nhật Bản, họ bị khủng hoảng, giam mình trong khách sạn. Sau thành công của bộ phim truyền hình Emily in Paris (Emlily ở Paris) trên Netflix, đông đảo du khách nước ngoài đến Paris để chụp hình check-in tại những địa điểm mà nhân vật chính Emily từng đi qua. Thế nhưng, giữa phim ảnh và thực tế là cả một hố sâu và đây là một trong những yếu tố có thể gây « hội chứng Paris », từng được nhà tâm thần học Hiroaki Ôta giải thích trong một bài báo năm 2004 : « Sự thất vọng liên quan đến việc tiếp xúc với thực tế hàng ngày cũng là một yếu tố của sự khó hiểu và lo lắng, cũng như vỡ mộng và trầm cảm. Hình ảnh khuôn mẫu của Paris, thành phố tiêu thụ hàng xa xỉ, được các nguồn tin tức truyền tải rộng rãi, không đúng với cuộc sống hàng ngày : không phải tất cả chúng ta khoác trên mình thương hiệu nổi tiếng, cuộc sống của chúng ta không chỉ nhàn rỗi và văn hóa, sự lịch sự, trau chuốt, galant không tồn tại lâu ». Paris có lẽ cũng như nhiều thành phố lớn khác trên thế giới, nơi cần có thời gian để cảm nhận cuộc sống. Paris không thể đẹp khi chỉ cố đến nhiều địa điểm nhất để check-in, hay ngắm từ cửa sổ ô tô. Paris không chỉ có tháp Eiffel, Khải Hoàn Môn, đại lộ Champs-Elysée, đồi Montmartre, mà còn có những khu làng trong phố. Có lẽ Paris sẽ đẹp khi du khách thả bước tản bộ, không vội check-in.
Episode 43 - Découvrez la vie d'une éleveuse et bergère ! Il y a certains métiers qui, quand ils sont annoncés, ne peuvent pas nous laisser indifférents. Ils sont trop peu courants ou trop peu présents dans la vie de la plupart d'entre nous pour passer inaperçus. Ils suscitent de la curiosité, on a envie de mieux les connaître. C'est d'ailleurs ce qui m'a poussé moi-même à vouloir en savoir plus… Berger : on connaît le nom, mais rarement la réalité. On a tous des images qui nous viennent en tête quand on nous parle de berger, sûrement assez caricaturales. On a entendu parler de berger dans des histoires pour enfants, dans des textes religieux, on en a vu dans des tableaux aux musées ou on en a éventuellement croisé en vacances. En même temps, c'est l'un des métiers les plus vieux au monde, on dit qu'il existe depuis plus de 10 000 ans. En 2020, on en comptait environ 20 300 en France. Malgré tout ça, malgré le fait que le métier ait traversé les siècles et qu'il continue à se transmettre, j'ai l'impression qu'on s'arrête toujours à ses clichés quand il s'agit d'en parler. Comme si le folklore n'avait pas évolué avec les années. Le bâton de berger, le chien de berger, le béret sur la tête, j'imagine que vous visualisez la scène. Pourtant, on se doute que les choses ont évolué pour ceux et celles qui guident et prennent soin des troupeaux. Anaïs est bergère, mais aussi éleveuse. Elle s'occupe de son troupeau de 300 brebis et agneaux dans la Vallée de la Bassée, une réserve naturelle en Ile-de-France, près de Provins à 1h30 de Paris. Elle a repris un troupeau en 2020 auprès de la Communauté d'Activités et d'Entrepreneurs des Champ des Possibles. Elle baigne dans cet univers depuis qu'elle est petite. Et je suis allée à sa rencontre pour qu'elle vienne nous raconter à quoi ressemblent les journées d'une bergère en 2022. Son rythme de travail, son organisation, et ses différentes activités en fonction des saisons. Très bonne écoute ! Au total, un peu plus de 1.000 kilomètre à parcourir jusqu'au dimanche 31 juillet. Patrice Nadam est né à Issy les Moulineaux et c'est à Malakoff, dans une caserne, qu'il a passé les 8 premières années de sa vie. Petit Il signait d'un Z de la pointe de son épée comme le célèbre justicier masqué mais ce sont les Sciences de la Vie et de la Terre qui ont fini par l'attirer au point de devenir professeur, dans le second degré et ça fait 30 ans que ça dure. Parallèlement, Patrice s'est spécialisé dans le numérique en devenant administrateur réseau, interlocuteur académique et formateur au numérique. Il vit aujourd'hui à Provins et travaille à la DANE de Créteil. Son parcours professionnel est un éternel concours de circonstances avec une constante qui lui sert de colonne vertébrale : l'envie et le plaisir de partager. Par Brie, nous entendons une famille de fromages originaires de la région éponyme. Il s’agit de fromages à pâte molle et croûte fleurie. L’origine de fromage dans cette région se perd dans la nuit des temps et pourrait remonter avant l’époque romaine. Mais sa réputation arrivera au moyen-âge : au 13e siècle, le ville de Provins est la troisième ville de France et ses foires sont célèbres. On y déguste les fromages.

Provins est une ville de 12.000 habitants, Séverine travaille une clientèle locale, qu'elle connait et conseil du mieux qu'elle peut à travers sa sélection de marque : Esprit, Happy, Whitestuff,1083, Cecil et bien d'autres… Avec 269 followers sur instagram et 525 sur facebook, le point de vente Carolyne & John n'a pas une audience internationale, cela n'empêche pas Séverine de prendre soin de l'image digitale de son point de vente. Plus que de l'image, elle utilise les réseaux pour instruire sa clientèle, expliquer ce qu'est le tencel, le lyocell, l'importance des matières naturelles. Elle n'hésite pas à prendre la parole pour expliquer ses choix de référencement et à collaborer avec les marques pour développer leur notoriété et son trafic en point de vente. Elle s'est récemment décidée à lancer son site e-commerce et prend son temps pour trouver la méthode la plus adaptée à son activité. C'est à travers ses doutes, sa volonté de bien faire et sa détermination à toujours aller de l'avant, que Séverine illustre parfaitement la situation des commerçants indépendants en 2021. Le candidat Les Républicains, celui du Parti socialiste, et Marine Le Pen ont repris la route des meetings, au lendemain du débat télévisé abondamment commenté, notamment par les « petits » candidats. « Un tonnerre d’applaudissements pour notre candidat, le futur président de la République ! » Sous une musique techno, le chauffeur de salle réclame de l’ambiance pour l’entrée en scène de François Fillon à Provins, en grande banlieue parisienne. Le candidat de la droite, confiant dans ses chances d’accéder au second tour, promet « l’alternance », malgré « la calomnie, les torrents de boue ». Il raconte même que lorsqu’il était jeune, il voulait devenir guide de haute montagne, grimpant les sommets des Pyrénées en prenant des risques qu’il n’aurait « jamais dû prendre ».« L’Alsace aux Alsaciens »Marine Le Pen était de son côté en Alsace, dans le petit village de Monswiller. La candidate FN y a promis de « rendre l’Alsace aux Alsaciens ». Elle veut par exemple supprimer les conseils régionaux pour développer « une révolution de la proximité ». Dans cette terre d’ancrage pour son parti, elle déroule aussi son thème favori : « l’immigration de masse », responsable selon elle de la montée du communautarisme « qui gangrène notre pays, attisé par la droite et par la gauche ».« La victoire à portée de mains »A une centaine de kilomètres de son adversaire, Benoît Hamon a réuni à Nancy plusieurs milliers de sympathisants, estimant que sa victoire est « à portée de mains. Le 8 mai au matin, un socialiste pourra succéder à un socialiste. Ça dépend de vous », lance le candidat PS confronté aux défections au profit d’Emmanuel Macron. Dernière en date, celui de Daniel Vaillant, ancien ministre et député socialiste de Paris. Le porte-parole du gouvernement Stéphane Le Foll se dit quant à lui partagé entre sa « fidélité » au PS et le « risque » représenté selon lui par le Front national.Un hologramme pour MélenchonEmmanuel Macron, comme Jean-Luc Mélenchon avaient déclaré forfait pour le débat télévisé prévu le 20 avril avec tous les autres candidats. Débat finalement annulé par la chaîne, ce qui provoque la colère des candidats les moins bien placés dans les sondages. Olivier Besancenot, soutien de Philippe Poutou, suggère ainsi ironiquement au candidat de la France insoumise d’apparaître sous forme d’hologramme, le procédé utilisé lors de l’un de ses meetings de campagne.

I veckans Meny lagar programledaren Fia Gulliksson irakisk och pakistansk mat med gästkockarna Faiza Hanna och Nizghat Ali. Det blir smårätter från det irakiska köket som till exempel Börek, inlagda grönsaker, kycklinggryta med kardemumma, Samosa och valnötsbaklava. Faiza Hanna och Nizghat Ali arbetar på cateringföretaget Provins som specialiserat sig på mat från länder som Pakistan och Irak och har som affärsidé att anställa invandrarkvinnor från de delarna av världen. Verksamheten drivs av Josefin Uhnbom och Filip Gustafsson och ligger i Alby i Botkyrka kommun utanför Stockholm. I kommunen talas det drygt 150 olika språk. – Vi rekryterar kvinnor som speglar olika kulturer och tar vara på deras kompetens inom matlagning, säger Josefin Uhnbom.
Hur står det egentligen till med relationerna till våra nordiska grannar? Under våren har svensk kulturdebatt retat upp danska och norska debattörer som bland annat menar att den svenska debatten är svartvit och styrd av en konsensuskultur, att vi borde se mer till hur vi har det här hemma än ifrågasätta grannarna. Finns det en polarisering länderna emellan och vad leder den i så fall till? Hör Sveriges Radios nordenkorrespondent Jenny Sanner Roosqvist, Anders Giæver på norska Verdens Gang och historikern Hanne Sanders vid Centrum för Danmarksstudier i Lund som bland annat skrivit boken Nyfiken på Danmark: klokare på Sverige. Vi tittar också närmare på den norrländska litterära tidskriften Provins som uppmärksammats och rosats på flera håll den senaste tiden. Författaren Bodil Malmsten och Johanna Ögren, en av grundarna till bokbloggen Bokhora, har läst de senaste två numren.
