Commitment to work is something most organizations expect from their people. But does that mean feeling guilty about spending less time at work and more time on yourself? In any case, it's not about the number of hours you spend working. It's about the quality of time you spend with the right people to get what needs to be done. What it takes to be a high-achieving professional: Know the value you bring to the organization. Spend time on yourself every day. Understand who you truly are. Today on the ACCESS Points Podcast, Mike Kelley, the VP of Sales at ACCESS EFM sits down with Davin and Tim to talk about his transformation into becoming a high achiever at work. He will share with you how he was able to achieve greater success while spending less time at work and more time on himself. In This Episode 3:20 - Why Mike Kelley is a good example of how personal health is crucial to becoming a high-achieving professional 6:19 - How to become a peak performer in your career 9:08 - The point at which Mike began to pay more attention to his physical health 14:49 - How to reframe the process of finding time for yourself 16:00 - How Mike took advantage of the COVID situation to improve his physical health 20:40 – Mike's advice for becoming a better performer at work 23:41 - What Tim has to say about being truly successful Favorite Quotes "You can never figure out how much or what value you bring to your organization, to your family, and sometimes, most importantly to yourself until you figure out exactly who it is that you are. And once you truly start to grasp who you are and your strengths and what value you bring to the world, that's when things start to click" - Tim Elliot "There are a tremendous amount of people, a tremendous amount of companies and a tremendous amount of entrepreneurs, bosses and managers that will absolutely give you the best lip service that you've ever seen. But they don't mean it!" - Mike Kelley "To be better professionally, you have to be better personally. And if things aren't great personally, there's only a certain amount of time in your professional life that can be good and that starts to deteriorate." - Tim Elliot "The bottom line is, there's only so many hours in a day and you have to decide where you're going to invest that time and that effort." - Davin Marceau "What's tough about the physical side of things is when your body starts to erode, whether it is looks, health, or both, that's going to inevitably begin to erode the mental side. It is going to inevitably begin to erode your relationships, your spirituality, and all those other domains are going to suffer. Because you don't feel confident in the way that you look or you don't feel confident in the way that you feel." - Davin Marceau "Once you have a level of knowledge and you have a level of understanding of who you are and how your value fits in the organization, it's not about the hours you spend. It's about the quality of time you spend with the right people to get the things done that you need to get done." - Tim Elliot "You'll never truly be successful until you figure out exactly who it is that you are." - Tim Elliot Visit Access EFM: Website Facebook LinkedIn Twitter Click here to listen with Access Points Podcast

Ethereum Improvement Proposal (EIP)-1559 is a proposal to make several tightly coupled additions to Ethereum’s transaction fee mechanism. Central to the design is a base fee, which plays the role of a reserve price and is meant to match supply and demand. Every transaction included in a block must pay that block’s base fee (per unit of gas), and this payment is burnt rather than transferred to the block’s miner. The base fee is adjusted after every block, with larger-than-target blocks increasing it and smaller-than-target blocks decreasing it.Tim Roughgarden is a Professor of Computer Science and member of the Data Science Institute at Columbia University. Tim did an extensive game theoretical review of EIP-1559 and joined us to chat about what the proposal is trying to do and why, and how it is doing it.Topics covered in this episode:What Tim's research focuses on and how he became involved with blockchainWhat made him interested in the fees problemThe current fee system on Ethereum - the first-price auction and base feeEIP-1559 - the problem it solves and how it does itIncreasing and decreasing of block sizesThe threat of miners colluding to drive down base feesDeep dive into how the proposal worksWhat are some alternatives to EIP-1559Episode links:Tim RoughgardenEIP-1559 on GitHubAn Economic Analysis of EIP-1559Tim on TwitterSponsors:Solana: Solana is the high performance blockchain supporting over 50k transactions per second to power the next generation of decentralized applications. - https://solana.com/epicenterExodus: Exodus the easy-to-use crypto wallet available on all platforms and supporting over 100 different assets. - https://exodus.com/epicenterParaSwap: ParaSwap’s state-of-the-art algorithm beats the market price across all major DEXs and brings you the most optimized swaps with the best prices, and lowest slippage - http://paraswap.io/epicenterThis episode is hosted by Friederike Ernst & Sunny Aggarwal. Having a consistent process for your project production is a must to maximize your job profits. If you're tired of getting those phone calls from the job or angry customers you'll want to listen to my interview with Tim Faller. Tim has consulted on production with hundreds of construction companies and we discuss his best practices for reducing slippage and making more profit on every job. “The money is made in the sale. It's production's job to protect it.” What you'll hear in this episode: The two main reasons Tim gets called: Remodelers call him with issues regarding slippage, inefficiency, or labor issues - issues pertaining to where they may be losing money. More companies are calling because they want to get their processes in place and working smoothly in preparation for transitioning to new ownership in the next 5 years, or they want to prepare and be ready for a recession. Problems are usually due to a lack of communication and commonly have to do with the handoff of information from sales to production. The lack of information is typically the reason why production struggles and isn't as efficient as it could be. What Tim is hearing is that the field staff feels like they are not getting enough information to do their project effectively. Lack of management of a client is also an issue that Tim sees. The contractor controls the flow of the work, the start time, the materials selections, etc. Tim shares a story that reflects how critical processes are. Salespeople should have a checklist that is completed for every job. The checklist should be created by the production team. Checklist considerations should include what the salespeople need in order to SELL the job, and what production needs in order to PRODUCE the job. These are often two very different things. Tim suggests a meeting between the foreman and the lead installer with the sales team, and get the turnover of 3 or 4 jobs at a time. They can read everything that's in the paperwork. What's NOT in the contract? Who are the clients? How do they think? Who will be home during the day? How do they make decisions? What are some of their fears? What are some of the access issues we might have? What are the problematic spots that we might run in to? Prepare for challenges and be ready. For example, how many layers of shingles will we be stripping? How much rot damage should we be prepared for? These kinds of questions help bridge the gap between the sales team and production, and prevent the negative divides. The physical hand off of information from sales to production is important. The lead on a job should check and confirm all materials before the project starts. It's possible that this task might be done 3 or 4 jobs ahead, so that we're all working on this. This is one of those areas where the lead on the job can double-check for accuracy and request any extra items that might be needed, and take responsibility for making sure that the right materials are on the job site. Somebody else can order it all, somebody else can make sure it gets delivered at the right time, but a checklist of items and physically seeing that all materials are ready to be delivered to the job site are an effective handoff. Consider having a pre-stocked trailer on site that allows them to have extra nails, extra caulk, extra flashing, etc. so that they don't have to run off and leave the job. This can be “indirect costs” for budget purposes. Debrief - don't just shrug off an issue after the job is done. When you see a problem, get your team together for a post-mortem meeting and discuss what can be done to ensure that problem doesn't happen again. Dave shares the process he uses in roofing. One of the biggest challenges a company faces is getting away from the “it is what it is” thinking. If you have the correct culture in your business, everybody's working toward the same goal. What is NLP and how can the skillset help you in your coaching and training business? More importantly, how can you ensure it can make you money? NLP is arguably a powerful skillset to have in your arsenal of competencies as a trainer. Tim Robins – today’s guest – qualified in NLP and has found great success in using it to help himself. clients and friends over the years. But, before you rush out and invest in any qualification like NLP, you need to run a cost-benefit analysis. Run the numbers Here on this show, we are primarily concerned with your success as a business owner and that means running a profitable and sustainable training business. Any investment in skills for your or your people has to be done on the basis that you are going to generate a return on investment in a reasonable period of time. Make sense? “To get to the NLP Trainer level, you are probably going to have to invest 15- 20K and at least three years. Many of the NLP Trainers I know say that it’s a constant battle to fill seats…” In Episode 17, we talked with Mark Houlihan who was considering investing in a psychometric evaluation qualification to sell to clients. Turns out he had lots of options and ways to save money. We guided him on the kinds of questions to ask himself in order to clarify whether he could make his money back and on whether It was the right thing to do given his financial situation. There is no rush. So take your time, conduct your research and examine the numbers. Hire coachable people Do you have plans to hire or have you already grown a team around you? What have you learned? Tim has plans to grow his business now that he is at full stretch. “I would like to have a team of 10 high-quality trainers whom I have personally invested in so I can cater for bigger numbers because that brings out the coach in me…” Lots of trainers grow their business to a point where they – sometimes unexpectedly – have to find ‘associate trainers’ in order to meet business demand. Has that already happened to you or is it something which you hope to have to do someday? In a future episode, we’ll dedicate an entire show to helping you to find your first hires, specifically other trainers who won’t let you down. Tim believes that the best associates for his training business, are those who possess charisma, are passionate, are incredibly good at what they do (yet) are humble enough to listen to others. The key point is that your hires have to be good but they need to be coachable and willing to learn your way so they can represent your brand. Since they’ll be taking the lead from you….Ask yourself: “Am I coachable?” Biggest takeaways for you today: What Tim is looking for in new associate trainers for his team Which lesson Tim learned by moving countries with his business How Tim came up with his great brand name and logo What you need to get the confidence to be great on video How to get powerful referrals to new clients for your business Why Tim thinks there is a business in working with schools Some helpful resources: Inner Leader – Tim Robin’s training business website James Wedmore – Video coach and online business ‘guru’ Pre-Suasion – Dr. Robert Cialdini’s book on leveraging others Recommended – Tony’s Lopata’s book on getting referrals

Welcome back to another episode of RNT Fitness Radio. Today I’m joined by one of our clients based out in Toronto, Tim Johnson, who’s undergone an incredible transformation to drop 50lbs and get into the shape of his life. It’s been a journey full of highs and lows for Tim, and in this episode, we go right into the early beginnings, his initial struggles and the why behind his transformation. What was really cool to hear about, and what will be very valuable to many of you listening, are the routines, systems and rituals he built around his life to set himself up for a higher chance of success. We also touch on the self-limitations placed around the vegetarian diet, why it’s important to put yourself first and why it’s necessary to constantly audit your social circles around you. We finish by talking about one of Tim’s biggest passion: his fiction writing and being a published author with nearly a million reads on Wattpad, it was cool hearing his thoughts on writing, the way he writes, and how he gets a lot of writing done during cardio! I hope you enjoy this one! ‘’Before you sign up for RNT, you’re just floating at a wim, doing whatever and that was 100% me.’’ – Tim Johnson Subscribe to iTunes! Love the podcast? Who is Tim Rutili: Temistocles (Tim) Hugo Rutili is a Leo raised in Chicago and surrounding suburbs. Presently living in South Pasadena. Musician, filmmaker, visual artist. Founder and principal songwriter of critically acclaimed bands, Califone and Red Meat. Also a member of Boxhead Ensemble, Ugly Casanova. Favorite Career Highlight: Premiering my first feature film as a director/writer, 'All My Friends Are Funeral Singers' at Sundance was a highlight. Touring Italy a few summers ago with my old bandmates/best friends was another. Lovely times. What Tim learned about Moses: I can relate to the character more than I'd like to - long, dangerous journeys, battles, bizarre demands from a powerful and sometimes spiteful God, and the kicker -- Being denied entry into the promised land by that same God (for a minor infraction!!!). There's a really excellent book called 'Moses, a life' by Jonathan Kirsch. Doing this podcast made me start reading this book again. I began to see Moses, this mythical being who gave us law and structure, as a good, strong, humble and also kind of insane, murderous and cruel. I saw God as much the same - jealous, petty, all-powerful, deeply loving and deeply hating. And all of us humans are the same. we carry everything in us - the capability to murder and the capability to love. God and this world are rarely exactly what we want them to be. We have to accept that and work with that in order to experience our moments of joy and peace. it may only be moments, and the end of the story may not justify the journey. I guess we have to be ok with that. It is all horrible and beautiful and hilarious and tragic all at the same time. I had a great time doing the podcast. Thanks Lisa! Who is Moses: Hebrew prophet, teacher, and leader who, in the 13th-century BCE (before the Common Era, or bc), delivered his people from Egyptian slavery. ... Tim Gray - Entrepreneur & Health Optimization Expert Our guest this week is Tim Gray. Tim is a seriously interesting person and deeply committed biohacker/health optimization expert. As you’ll learn, Tim and T.A. met by happenstance at Baby Bathwater—an entrepreneurial event hosted in Croatia—where they quickly realized their shared enthusiasm for science, technology, and longevity. Tim’s approach to health optimization stems from his passion and commitment to everything he does; what Tim calls his “all-in or nothing” mentality. As an entrepreneur, Tim is a specialist in psychology, neuro marketing, cognitive hypnotherapy, conversion rate optimization and SEO. His expertise in digital marketing is rooted in his own experiences as the founder of a very successful e-commerce business, and over 13 years experience of search engine marketing and psychology. He has a keen interest in body language and human behavior led him to study and gain various Oxford University recognized qualifications, including a Diploma in Cognitive Hypnotherapy (HPD), a Master Practitioner certification in NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) and NVQ in Business Management. His growing interest in optimal health, having a sharp and clear mind (and “biohacking”) has also led him to open the first Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy clinic in London. In this episode of How to Live to 200, T.A. explores some really interesting and less popular areas with Tim. We ask and answer questions on biohacking, mercury poisoning, gut bacteria, and more. Here’s a sample of what we cover: How Tim used the Ketogenic diet and Bulletproof Coffee to kickstart his journey to biohacking and health optimization Why Tim doesn’t like the term “biohacker” What symptoms allow him to easily detect mercury toxicity in strangers What tests Tim recommends to measure your mercury levels What foods to avoid if you’re worried about mercury toxicity What farm-raised salmon can do to your body and brain Should you have your old fillings removed? Tim’s personal gut microbiome optimization techniques What Tim data currently tracks and how he decides what to pay attention to How you can use Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy to thrive How do you learn to enjoy your current moment while still striving for improved health There’s so much great info packed into this episode, so don’t be surprised if you need to take a second listen to capture all of Tim’s knowledge. Tune your satellite dish into the All Things Are Possible Network. It’s so easy to get off track with your day. You wake up and immediately get bombarded with social media, news, and responsibilities. If you don’t get your mind right, you might be absorbing negativity and passing it on to everyone you interact with that day. I know there have been times where I’ve bought something at a convenience store and let my bad day affect the way I’ve treated a cashier. So, how can we make a positive impact on the world instead of “spreading bad seeds?” For this Five Minute Friday, I revisited a conversation I had with Tim Storey where he shared how he is able to “shift his satellite dish” so that it’s picking up good channels instead of bad ones. Tim Storey is a self-help author, motivational speaker, pastor, and founder of Tim Storey Kids Foundation. For the past 10 years, Tim has served as an adviser to leaders and celebrities like Robert Downey Jr., Kanye West, Christian Slater and more. Like Tim says in this episode, “Every day we start with a bag of seeds.” We can either spread bad ones or good ones. Learn how to keep your thoughts trained on positivity and quiet your fears in Episode 690. n This Episode You Will Learn: The way to combat fear (00:40) Why meditation is helpful (1:40) What Tim does in the morning to stay balanced (3:00) How to spread positivity throughout your day (4:30)

Today’s guest, Tim Storey, is someone I’ve wanted to have on Earn Your Happy since before it was officially a thing. So you can imagine that I was practically levitating from excitement (and let’s be honest, I still am) to chat with him. If you’ve never heard of Tim, you’re missing out because he’s a master at moving people into action and helping people turn setbacks into comebacks. Seriously, when Tim speaks his energy comes out of his pores! Realizing early on he wanted to help heal others, in our conversation we talk about where it all began (picture seven people in a two-bedroom house) and how he credits his upbringing to helping him think big in small places. We touch on spending time with people who get you (your tribe) and why we all need to start paying attention and be an observer to all the discoveries around us. You may want to listen to this episode twice (I know I’ll be listening again) just to take in each and every one of his wisdom-filled words. I can’t wait to hear your takeaways! -- Question Highlights: How did you become a speaker? How can we enjoy the discovery while in the recovery zone? Do you still have slumps and dry spells? What are some of the key things that help you speak with full expression, and how did you get to that place? What made you hold onto what your 6th grade teacher told you and make it your north star? What made it stand out? For people who feel like they need to change to be something or they don’t feel like they’re ready for the “thing,” what would you tell them? Do we have to make an empowering reason as to why we’re in a “winter?” How do you know the distinction of when to share certain things with others? How does one not get intimidated by the thought of mastery, but instead be almost pulled by their message to mastery? How do people know when to go to the next level of work? In This Episode We Talk about: What moved Tim to become a speaker and help heal others Why the recovery zone is the common denominator Staying in the moment during your discovery Going back to being curious and innocent again Changing the channel of what you’re thinking and how Tim shifts his channel Tuning into the right things at the right times Being with people who get you (your tribe) Why Tim still holds onto his 6th grade teacher’s standard Breathing life into others through speaking Why people oftentimes must go left before they go right What Tim did when he was served papers while he was speaking at an event Why your testimony is the most powerful thing you have The Law of Harvest Why we can’t look for results every day And so much more… Quotes “Unlock your discovery just by paying attention and observing.” “If you’re not careful, life will knock the curiosity out of you.” “Feed your faith, starve your doubt.” “What I say, I live.” “Set to be settled to be seasoned to soar.” “You are seasoned for a reason. “ “You can handle the left and right at the same time.” “Not all things should be spoken…some things should be left behind.” “Don’t get stuck in the result.” -- Tim Storey is an acclaimed author, speaker and life coach, well known for inspiring and motivating people of all walks of life, from entertainment executives, celebrities and athletes to adults and children in the most deprived neighborhoods in the country. Tim has traveled to seventy-five countries and spoken to millions of people. He often meets privately to counsel high-profile leaders in various industries. Tim Storey helps people create the future they desire. He has inspired people from all walks of life, from entertainment legends to professional athletes... from executives to deprived children in third world countries. Tim O’Reilly popularised the terms Open Source and Web 2.0 He is the founder and CEO of O’Reilly Media which delivers online learning, publishes books, runs conferences, urges companies to create more value than they capture, and tries to change the world by spreading and amplifying the knowledge of innovators.Tim has a history of convening conversations that reshape the computer industry. In 1998, he organized the meeting where the term “open source software” was agreed on, and helped the business world understand its importance. In 2004, with the Web 2.0 Summit, he defined how “Web 2.0” represented not only the resurgence of the web after the dot com bust, but a new model for the computer industry, based on big data, collective intelligence, and the internet as a platform. In 2009, with his “Gov 2.0 Summit,” he framed a conversation about the modernization of government technology that has shaped policy and spawned initiatives at the Federal, State, and local level, and around the world. He has now turned his attention to implications of AI, the on-demand economy, and other technologies that are transforming the nature of work and the future shape of the business world. This is the subject of his new book WTF: What’s the Future and Why It’s Up to Us.In addition to his role at O’Reilly Media, Tim is a partner at early stage venture firm O’Reilly AlphaTech Ventures (OATV) and on the boards of Maker Media, Code for America, PeerJ, Civis Analytics, and PopVox. Expect to learn a hell of a lot in today’s conversation and prepare to listen to it multiple times to capture as much value from it as you can. Three key things you will learn: Tim’s views on net neutrality What companies absolutely need to be doing to best prepare for the new economy; and What Tim’s views are on whether the fourth industrial revolution will leave most of us unemployed or not Expect to learn that, and more, in this conversation, with the one and only Tim O’Reilly. Topics Discussed: The Book: What’s the Future and Why It’s Up To Us Whether companies like Amazon and Facebook are capturing more value than they’re creating and are they becoming dangerously monopolistic Why traditional maps of the world such as financial statements and short-term shareholder value need to be revisited What Tim thinks about the FCC winding back net neutrality What businesses need to think about to map out their business model for the next economy Will technology take our jobs? What are the secrets you're carrying around, and what would happen if you dropped them? This week's guest is Tim Kirkman, a storyteller with a knack for exploring the things people don't say. His film Lazy Eye is about confronting secret loves, and his documentary Dear Jesse is about his unexpected connection with America's most notorious homophobe. What Tim's found, in his work and in his life, is that the information people withhold about themselves is often the key to understanding them -- provided you can open up about yourself.

Tim Rhode, the creative force behind 1lifefullylived.org is a rare individual who “walks the walk” of what he teaches. Tim came from a very humble background, growing up in a blue collar family in a blue collar town. Although he barely graduated high school and never attended any college, Tim went on to dream, plan, and create his own “magnificent life.” He grew up as the 3rd of four kids of a teacher, Raymond Rhode and a stay-at-home mom, Patti Compton. Raymond was an excellent teacher, but not always wise with his finances. Ray’s tight financial situation left an indelible mark on Tim and he strived to make a better life for his family. After a slow start in life (he was a grocery clerk until 25), Tim sold real estate for approximately 18 years – and sold over 2,500 homes in that period. Every year as Tim’s income continued to grow, he lived “small” and saved and invested his income and reinvested his profits. Tim lived as if he was still making a grocery clerk’s salary. Over time, he has also bought and sold hundreds of properties for himself. Some he fixed and sold for a profit; others he kept as rental properties which he either sold or exchanged into the 2005 Real Estate craze. He now owns many commercial real estate properties and real estate notes that provide passive income which allow Tim to follow his passions. These include mentoring young folks on creating a great life, as well as skiing, hiking, mountain biking, etc. Tim lives in an incredibly “inspiring” setting in his “castle in the sky” tucked into a mountain north of Lake Tahoe, CA. (Portola, Plumas County) with his lovely wife Tina, and has three wonderful children Chris, Sarah, and Andy. The older kids are in their mid-20s and are out of the house, totally self-sufficient, creating their own “magnificent futures.” The youngest child is still in high school being mentored daily on the same things Tim is teaching here. Having gotten off to a slow start in life, and then finding his way to such a great life, has inspired Tim to help others find their own paths earlier in life. Tim is totally committed to helping kids plan their future, as well as becoming a force to help change the ways children are taught in our schools. Tim understands he has lived a blessed life and wants to spend his senior years helping young folks (of all ages) dream, plan and implement their own “magnificent future.”

This episode proof that you can relatively quickly build a successful Amazon FBA business! Tim Holterman is a regular guy. He worked for years in a good job, working to take care of his responsibilities and life. He came to a point where he wanted to change his life so that he could spend more time with his family. He heard of the possibility of making a change through beginning an Amazon sales business from Chris Guthrie (a previous guest on The Amazing Seller podcast). So he decided to take the leap and get started building his own business. He asked lots of questions to know that what others were doing was possible for him. Once he was convinced, Tim began building his business - and he did all of it without ever signing up for a paid course of any kind. He invested a portion of his salary each month to building his business. Listen to this episode - part 1 of a lengthy conversation where Tim tells his story and how he got over $6,000 in sales within the first 30 days of beginning his FBA Business. Tim’s product research process for his Amazon business began with the purchase of one piece of software. Amasuite was the software Tim began with, simply because he trusted it’s creator, Chris Guthrie. He started researching the top 100 sellers in lots of categories. He drilled down into those products by setting up filters to weed out products he didn’t think were good options. Some of those products were not an option because the niche was too saturated. Others he simply didn’t think were good. Through that process Tim found a product he felt good about. He wasn’t concerned at that point with building a brand, though he does feel that is the best way to begin. He just found products that might sell well and made a decision. The next step was sourcing the product. Find out how he went about his product sourcing in this episode. Tim’s smart way of getting a sample of the product he was interested in. When Tim researched his product on Alibaba (An online Chinese directory of product providers), he found one of the exact products that were listed on Amazon. He felt there was room in the market for him to offer the exact same product, so he simply ordered one of his competitor’s products from Amazon. He accomplished two things at once by doing this. He got to see the actual product - it’s quality, packaging, etc. AND he got to see how his competitor was presenting the product, including a misspelling on their packaging that hasn’t been corrected to this day! Find out more about the quality control process and getting samples of your potential product in this edition of The Amazing Seller. Shipping a private label product to Amazon - directly from the product supplier! The supplier Tim was able to find had experience shipping products directly to Amazon so he thought it was worth trying. He bought his own UPC to put on the products, printed out his own labels to brand the product as his, and the supplier put the labels on the products, printed out shipping labels, and sent the products directly to Amazon for Tim’s account. It was a tremendous time saving step that enabled Tim to keep one more piece of the process off his table so that he could fulfill the goal of spending more time with his family. Hear exactly how Tim went about working out this deal on this episode. Getting reviews for a new product - Tim’s unique strategy. Getting reviews for your Amazon product is essential to begin moving your product up in Amazon’s search results, and giving your product a sense of legitimacy. Tim knew that and wanted to boost his product through getting some quick reviews. The first step he took is common sense, but one not many people do. He enlisted people he knew who had Amazon Prime accounts (so they could get free shipping) and asked them to purchase and review the product, and he would pay them back the purchase price. Essentially, he’s giving away the products for free but through Amazon it registers as a full-blow purchase. It was an ingenious strategy that got him some great initial reviews and had a dramatic impact on his product’s ranking. From there, he did a few product giveaways through Tomoson… and you can hear the rest of how Tim got reviews by listening to the show! OUTLINE OF THIS EPISODE OF THE AMAZING SELLER Welcome to this episode - a victory story from a regular guy… you’ll love it! Introduction from Tim Holterman, a member of The Amazing Seller Facebook community. Tim’s story - where he came from and how he got into Amazon FBA sales. How Tim began researching his first product. Sourcing the product came next, and Tim shares exactly how he did it. How Tim got samples of his product to see if he wanted to purchase larger quantities - it’s a smart idea that killed two birds with one stone. Getting his product to Amazon - a partnership of sorts Tim worked out with his supplier. What Tim did while his supplier was producing the products (a 2 week turnaround). What Tim does when he experiences a lack of direction, procrastination, or a is just having a bad day in general. Also some news about a small but very interesting 30DC meetup in London.
Only one subject today, and that is the lawsuits concerning Apple Computer. What? Tim sticks with only one topic throughout the entire PodCast? Yeah, I know, hard to believe. But it is true!
