In April 2023 I had 619 subscribers on YouTube (After years of being on it) My channel was a literal ghost town that produced 0 leads for my business But later that same year, (2023) I was adding over 1,000 new subscribers per month, winning new clients (5 figure deals) directly from my YouTube channel, and my videos were gaining traction by the day. The transformation was so significant in such a short period of time it actually surprised me This all came after looking in the mirror and realizing I needed to stop messing around and make some serious strategic shifts to my B2B YouTube strategy I had already been winning new business from LinkedIn and TikTok for years now, but those are a daily grind (Especially LinkedIn) The crazy part about my YouTube videos, is they're getting watched (And generating leads) MONTHS and even YEARS after I post them
If you're here, you're probably aware that LinkedIn is an absolute goldmine for your business. Or at least it should be. Unfortunately, most B2B companies that post content on LinkedIn, still struggle to generate consistent inbound leads and new clients from their content. I've spent the last several years consistently winning clients on LinkedIn (Through content) and have helped dozens and dozens of companies do the same. I hold nothing back in this video and provide the exact blueprint on how to dominate LinkedIn in 2024 and beyond! If you're ready to start seeing real inbound leads and revenue through your LinkedIn content, get ready to start taking some notes here! Here are just some of the key takeaways you'll get from watching this video: 1.) How to Craft a Winning LinkedIn Content Strategy Understanding Your Audience: Your content needs to resonate deeply with your audience on multiple levels. Begin by categorizing your potential clients into two groups: those unaware of their problem and those seeking solutions. Tailor your content to address these specific stages of their journey. Content That Converts: Shift from promoting your products to focusing on what your dream clients need to see. What content would make them find you credible and trustworthy? What information would nudge them towards taking the next step with your business? Reverse Engineering Success: Study the content strategies of successful businesses. Often, they prioritize value and relevance over direct promotion. Emulate this approach to engage your target audience effectively. 2.) Learn the exact type of content to post in order to attract your dream clients Text Posts: While easy and quick to create, text posts have limitations. They're great for sharing quick insights but lack the depth required for building strong relationships. Use them wisely to share thought leadership and industry insights. Visual Storytelling: Images and graphics add an emotional layer to your content. Whether it's a story about your business journey or client success stories, visuals make your content more engaging and relatable. Video Content: The most powerful tool in your LinkedIn arsenal. Videos allow you to showcase your expertise and personality. Keep them short, engaging, and packed with value right from the start. 3.) How to Master the LinkedIn Algorithm Engagement and Community: Unlike platforms with interest-based algorithms, LinkedIn prioritizes content based on your network and engagement. Don't ever let anyone tell you there's nothing new under the sun. Thought leaders don't approach the world or their industry that way, so why should you? In this episode, Donald Kelly connects with Andy Buyting – coach, professional speaker, and best-selling author of How to Win Clients and Influence People. In this episode, Buyting introduces his proven-successful take on how to reinvent the relationship between sales and marketing which he outlines further in his 2021 book, Double Sales/Zero Salespeople. See the special offer in our Resources for a free half-hour call with one of the authors of the book! Why the “assembly line”? Division of labor: splitting any complex process into specific tasks, and allowing people to specialize on one part of the task Application in sales and marketing: Where a typical salesperson may be responsible for generating leads and prospecting all the way through making the final sale, Buyting recommends separating the tasks among dedicated people Optimize: Once you know what each stage of the process is for your business, you can optimize and automate parts of the assembly line “Smarketing”: Intersection of Sales and Marketing Frequently, sales and marketing operate too separately, and each department thinks it has all the answers when it comes to meeting goals Marketing can help businesses find the right customers, but it can fall apart if salespeople are just selling and not providing value Having sales with no marketing can be expensive, payroll-wise! Sales and marketing both share the same goal: growing the business. Combining the two creates a more efficient process “Just like Henry Ford developed the assembly line for the automobile, what is your business development assembly line? What are all of those stations along that journey for your prospect, from the very first time your company spends a time trying to land a sale, until they actually sign a contract? What are those stations, and then ask yourself, ‘how do I optimize each station?'” – Andy Buyting Resources SPECIAL OFFER: Book a call or download a chapter of the book!
