While attending Point Park, Traci performed in the Pittsburgh Civic Light Opera's Richard Rodgers Awards, and also performed as a dancer/ singer for Royal Caribbean. She was then cast in Pittsburgh Musical Theater's production of Chicago, performing the role of “Liz” at the Byham Theater. Traci moved to NY and was chosen to be a Radio City Rockette in 2002. Her first four years as a Rockette, she performed on tour in several cities, and in 2006, started performing at Radio City Music Hall. She has been performing there to the present date. Traci was selected as the Assistant Dance Captain in 2009. In 2010 was cast as a swing, and in 2014 Dance Captain/ Assistant Choreographer for 5 years. Traci has performed in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, the Today Show, Rockefeller Center Tree Lighting, Dancing With the Stars, America's Got Talent, Saturday Night Live, The Tonight Show, Tony Awards, Live with Kelly and Ryan, Ellen, and the Wendy Williams Show. Traci participated in Oprah's celebration for the 10th anniversary of her O Magazine, and also traveled to Vienna, Austria, where she performed in Diane Von Furstenberg's fashion show at the Life Ball. Traci has led & assisted auditions, taught for Rockettes Summer Intensive and assisted in teaching and staging the Christmas Spectacular. Her passion is teaching and working with her students. Karen Ritchie Karen is a Canadian-born performer from Saskatchewan who spent her early years racing from the gym to the studio. She was a competitive artistic gymnast through the age of twelve, but when push came to shove, she chose to focus on dance. Her technical studies in tap, jazz, ballet, pointe and acro led her to a worldly dance career - from working as a dancer, tumbler and aerialist on cruise ships to performing multiple contracts at Tokyo Disney in Japan. In 2005, Karen became a Radio City Rockette and has been thrilled to perform across the United States and Canada in the Christmas Spectacular ever since. Karen has appeared on NBC's the Today Show, the Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon, the Rockefeller Tree Lighting, the Tony Awards, the MTV VMA's, Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, America's Got Talent, the NBA All-Star Game and the Life Ball in Vienna, Austria. She can also be seen in the Hallmark movie “A Holiday Spectacular”, the Kasey Musgraves Christmas Show on Amazon Prime, Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer and a number of television commercials. Karen is on staff with Acrobatic Arts as a Course Conductor and Examiner and is also certified in Progressing Ballet Technique. She has taught master classes and workshops at Radio City Music Hall and Broadway Dance Center, as well as in New York, Chicago, Atlanta, Miami and Canada. Traditionellerweise fand der Ball im parallel zum Wiener Opernball am Donnerstag vor dem Faschingssonntag statt.TRANSEEin etwas veraltetes Wort für Drag Queen ist Transe. Heutzutage verwendet man es nicht mehr, da es eine gewisse Feindlichkeit gegenüber Transpersonen mit sich bringt.TRAVESTIEDiesen Begriff zu erklären ist schwer. Es gibt verschiedenste Quellen, wie weit die Kunstform Travestie zurückgeht und was genau sie bezeichnet. Fakt ist, dass diese Art der Verkleidung den Weg für ‚Drag‘ so wie wir es heute kennen, geebnet hat. Mittlerweile hat fast jedes Österreichische Bundesland eine aktivistische Initiative gegen Diskriminierung von LGBTQIA+ Personen.TÜRKIS LILA VILLAAuf der linken Wienzeile befindet sich die Türkis Lila Villa, ein Wohnverein, ein Café und ein Zuhause für queere Menschen.BANGDas Bang war ein queerer Club in der Dreihackengasse in Graz. Seit einigen Jahren steht das Lokal leer.MASHUPSMashups nennt man Songs, die aus zwei oder mehreren Songs zusammengemixt und ineinander verschachtelt werden.REGENBOGENPARADE / PRIDEAlljährlich finden in sehr vielen Städten der Welt Regenbogenparaden (auch Pride genannt) statt. Hier setzen alle Beteiligten ein Zeichen für die Akzeptanz von queeren Menschen und fordern gleiche Rechte für alle.CABARET FLEDERMAUSDer Club Cabaret Fledermaus im ersten Wiener Gemeindebezirk gehört heute zu den kultigsten Einrichtungen der Stadt. Gerade Sonntags trifft man sich dort, um zu tanzen und zu feiern. Es finden dort auch immer wieder queere Clubbings ihr zu Hause, wie zum Beispiel die Veranstaltungsreihe ‚Pop!Sofa‘, die es heute leider nicht mehr gibt.DRAG LABIm Sommer 2021 gründeten die Drag Artists Metamorkid und Dopa Mania eine Open Stage Night für queere Performer:innen. Sie fand im Club Celeste, im Schikaneder und im Spektakel statt.LIFE BALLDer Ballorganisator Gery Keszler hat im Jahr 1993 den Life Ball ins Leben gerufen und sich zum Ziel gesetzt, mit dieser Benefiz-Veranstaltung Bewusstsein für die Krankheit Aids zu schaffen. Bis 2019 fand diese queere Ballnacht im Wiener Rathaus jedes Jahr mit unzähligen nationalen und internationalen Gäst:innen statt.HEAVENDonnerstags traf man sich von Herbst 1989 bis 1992 im Wiener Nachtclub U4, um die queere Szene am ‚Heaven‘ zu feiern. Nach zwei Bränden im U4 fand die Veranstaltung ab 1992 auch in anderen Locations statt. Das Gesicht vom ‚Heaven‘ war seit eh und je die bekannte Wiener Drag Queen Miss Candy.LIPSTICKBALLDer als Home-Party gegründete Lipstickball ist mittlerweile eine jährlich stattfindende Live-Drag-Competition, in der die Drag of the Night gekürt wird. Rund um Gründerin Sassica Rabbit hat sich mittlerweile das Haus of Lipstick gegründet, das neben dem Lipstickball auch andere Veranstaltungen hostet.LGBTQIA+LGBTQIA+ ist die Abkürzung für lesbisch, schwul, bisexuell, transgender, queer, intersexuell und asexuell. In today's episode, I am joined by Addison Reed Holmes AKA the "Salty Ballerina". We talk about her ballet journey, growing up in Texas and attending SMU before moving to Los Angeles and New York. We chat about the importance of being a well-rounded dancer and person, the struggles of being a dance competition judge, and the challenges with dance competitions nowadays. Addison has worked in LA, Europe and NY, dancing in various shows, industrials, commercials, film, TV and music videos. Credits include: Natasha Bedingfield, Muse, My Chemical Romance, McDonald's, Toshiba, Gold Bond, JcPenney, Law and Order, Prison Break, Life Ball, and L.A. Choreographer's Carnival. Addison also has Equity Musical Theatre and Opera credits including Carmen, Amahl and the Night Visitor, The King and I, West Side Story, Fame, Funny Girl and Showboat. She has choreographed and performed as a guest artist for contemporary companies as well as industrials and commercials. Her choreography has been selected to perform at several festivals and concerts. She currently works in Southern California as a represented dancer, dance convention teacher and judge in both America and Canada, and ballet director for Shannon Mather's Mather Dance Company. Most recently she produced Wanderlust Dance Project, which was chosen by chief dance critic Margaret Putnam for Top 10 dance concerts of 2016, alongside Kidd Pivot and BalletBoyz. Addison is known for her never-ending positive energy in the warm and encouraging environment she creates, whether at a private lesson, studio session, or convention ballroom. Her goal is to inspire young dancers and to encourage longevity and artistry.

In Oberösterreich geboren, aufgewachsen in Wels als Wirtshaustochter, hat sie früh die Gaststube schon als Bühne gesehen. Die Gastronomie sei ihr sehr vertraut, sie könne sofort „kellnerieren“, meint die Moderatorin. Nach der Matura übersiedelte sie nach Wien, ihr Studium hat sie aber leider nicht abgeschlossen, das bereut sie ein wenig. Weiters erzählt sie von ihren beruflichen Stationen beim Fernsehen aber auch über ihre Printerfahrungen. Sie arbeitete beim Life Ball und war verheiratet mit Pius Strobl, mit dem sie einen Sohn hat.

Wenn man einen Zahn aufschneidet findet man da wirklich Blut- sowie Lymphgefäße und eben Nervenfasern. Harte Schale weicher Kern also.Wir betrachten unsere Mundhöhle aber meist sehr isoliert und Zahnärzte sind für uns glaube ich meistens mehr Handwerker als irgendetwas sonst. Tatsächlich handelt es sich aber bei der Mundflora um ein empfindliches Ökosystem, das zentral für die Gesundheit unseres gesamten Körpers ist. Mit der richtigen Mundhygiene kann man da ganz gut vorbeugen. Bei Bio-Produkten muss man hohe Auflagen erfüllen - das war ein langer Prozess. Man lernt leider hauptsächlich aus Fehlern (lacht). Wie pflege ich damit meine Zähne?Das Basisprodukt ist unser Zahnöl, das in die Zahnzwischenräume auf das Zahnfleisch aufgetragen wird und man über Nacht einwirken lässt. Denn mehr als 2/3 des Zahnfleisches ist zwischen den Zähnen. Und dort ist die Parodontitis zuhause. Das Zahnöl ist der letzte Schritt nach dem Zähneputzen und Ausspülen.Das Mundwasser ist ein hoch-konzentriertes Kräuterkonzentrat. 1-2 Tropfen davon im Wasser auflösen und damit gurgeln. Wenn man es schluckt ist es auch nicht so schlimm, denn es ist eh bio. Die Zahnpasta ist eineKombination aus ätherischen Ölen mit Kieselerde. Der Lippenbalsam besteht aus einem pflegenden Anteil aber enthält zusätzlich anti-virale bzw. anti-bakterielle Inhaltsstoffe. Somit ist er gut bei rissigen Lippen aber schützt auch vor Viren und Infektionen.Was hat dich dazu veranlasst die Produkte zu kreieren?Patienten haben mich ständig gefragt: “Was ist die beste Zahnpasta/Mundpflege etc.?” Und die Sachen, die es am Markt gibt haben oft zumindest einen Nachteil. Wie zB.: Mundwasser mit Chlorhexidin, dass die Zähne verfärbt so dass man es nur kurz verwenden kann. Und ich habe etwas gesucht was auch längerfristiger anwendbar ist. Dr. Lhotkas Mundhygiene-Produkte kombinieren ein abgestimmtes Zusammenspiel von Thymian, Gewürznelke, Zitrone und Zitronengras. Dabei habt ihr auf Pflanzenextrakten wie Thymian, Nelke und Pfefferminze zurück gegriffen?Ausgangspunkt war der sogenannte Hain-Test, der anzeigt welche krankmachende Bakterien sich im Mund befinden. Darauf basierend haben wir nach Essenzen gesucht die desinfizierend und anti-bakteriell bzw. anti-viral wirken. Es gibt mittlerweile genügend fundierte wissenschaftliche Studien die nachweisen, dass pflanzliche Essenzen als Medizin eingesetzt werden können. Da gab es bei uns in Europa den Paracelsus, der seine Arbeit darauf aufgebaut hat.Der Glühwein im Winter wird genau deshalb mit Zimt und Nelke auch gemacht, da diese Gewürze antiviral wirken. Es ist im Prinzip ein Getränk vorbeugend gegen Grippe.Man kann zB.: bei Zahnschmerzen auf Nelken kauen, da die taub machen weshalb es dann weniger schmerzt. Das ist im Prinzip eine natürliche Spritze. was kann ich Falsch machen beim zähne Putzen?Ich verwende zB.: eine Ultraschallzahnbürste, aber die darf man nur ganz locker anhalten. Viele Leute putzen die Zähne falsch indem sie elektrische Zahnbürsten zu fest andrücken. Die elektrische Zahnbürste soll ja die Arbeit für dich erledigen aber viele Leute fahren damit in der Gegend herum wenn man sie eigentlich eher an einem Punkt halten soll - sonst kann man sich gleich mit einer normalen Zahnbürste die Zähne putzen. Welche Inhaltsstoffe will ich absolut nicht in meiner Zahnpasta haben?Mikroplastik, das im Meer landet ist ja gerade ein großes Thema und die meisten billigen Zahnpasten beinhalten leider Mikroplastik. Stattdessen verwenden wir natürliche Kieselerde mit mildem Abrieb. Es gibt einen nachweislichen Zusammenhang zwischen oralen Infektionen, insbesondere Parodontitis (was die Hälfte aller Erwachsener über 30 betrifft) und Alzheimer, Diabetes und Schlaganfällen. Deine Produkte sollen helfen solche Zahnfleischinfektionen zu vermeiden, richtig?Meine Praxis ist sehr auf Mundhygiene konzentriert, um Karies von Haus aus mal zu vermeiden. In Kombination mit der richtigen Mundhygiene haben wir schon gute Ergebnisse verzeichnen können. Insbesondere ist auch das Herzinfakt-Risiko extrem erhöht durch Zahnfleischerkrankungen. Auch Lungen- und Mandelentzündungen werden begünstigt durch Parodontitis. Wir dürfen nicht vergessen, der Mund ist die Eingangspforte für alles weshalb es so wichtig ist, das der Teil des Körpers gesund ist. Ein gesundes Mikrobiom bzw. unsere Mundflora dient durchaus als Spiegel für unsere Gesundheit. On the creative side, Lizz served as Associate Choreographer to Richard J. Hinds at Merry-Go- Round Playhouse’s 2017 season opener, Guys and Dolls, as well as Assistant Choreographer to Molly Smith (Dir.) and Parker Esse (Chor.) at Glimmerglass Opera House’s season opener, Oklahoma! Elle-May was born and raised in Sydney, Australia. She then went on to complete a BA (Hons) degree for Musical Theatre at Lasalle College of the Arts in Singapore. For the last two years, Elle May has been living and working in New York City. Recent credits include Cabaret, The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas, Anything Goes, Priscilla Queen of the Desert, Elton John’s ‘Life Ball’ in Vienna, Austria, The MTV Video Music Awards, and a dancer with the Omaha Symphony Orchestra. She was recently the Assistant Choreographer to the renowned duo ‘The Squared Division’ for the first season of Asia’s Got Talent, and filmed Rachelle Rak’s new pilot series ‘The Collaborators’ in New York. Additionally, she played "Kylie" in the AFI Award winning film "The Black Balloon" and has appeared in several television commercials.
