Send us a text if you want to be on the Podcast & explain why!Ever watched a dream job slip through your fingers because of nerves and tech chaos, then found a way to win it back? That's the heart of our conversation with Ayanna, a determined trainer who went from CrossFit and PT settings to a full-time role at Lifetime Fitness—after a botched remote interview and a bold, make-good workout that changed everything. We dig into the difference between reading a cert and becoming a coach. Live, interactive learning built her confidence: anatomy that matters, programming that works on the floor, and real-time feedback from a community of trainers at clubs like Lifetime and Equinox. You'll hear how case studies, avatars, and practical assignments created a loop of learn, apply, and refine that paid off when she faced a high-stakes practical. Instead of overcomplicating things, she stuck to assessments, clean progressions, and clear cues—proof that fundamentals beat flash.Once hired, the work shifted to member engagement. Ayanna shares how she walked the floor with purpose, offered quick wins without pressure, and used simple progressions to move people beyond stale routines. We compare the career math at different gyms, why Lifetime's early support helps new trainers thrive, and how pricing confidence grows when clients invest in 12 to 36 sessions. We also outline a repeatable plan: mirror top performers' activity, double your availability, script your first five minutes, and track client wins that turn into stories and referrals. If you're trying to break into a top club or rebuild momentum after a setback, this episode gives you a blueprint: apologize fast, add value immediately, ask for specific feedback, and keep going until you get a firm no. Subscribe for more real-world tactics, share this with a trainer who needs a push, and leave a review to tell us the bold move you'll make this week.Want to ask us a question? But love him or hate him, Dmitry Lipinskiy has made damn sure nobody ignores him. From building and selling his own roofing company to launching Roofing Insights and Directorii, Dmitry's mission has been clear: expose the fakes, hold people accountable, and clean up an industry that's gotten too comfortable looking the other way.In this conversation, Eric and Dmitry get raw about calling out corruption, dealing with haters, what really drives him, and why doing the right thing sometimes looks like starting a fight. They also hit on ego, coaches, CrossFit, and what it means to be truly authentic when the whole world's watching.Listen to this episode on other podcast platforms: Spotify: https://tinyurl.com/BeAuthenticSpotifyGoogle Podcast: https://tinyurl.com/BeAuthenticGooglePodcastApple Podcast: https://tinyurl.com/BeAuthenticApplePodcastAmazon Music: https://tinyurl.com/BeAuthenticAmazonMusic Connect with "Be Authentic or GTFO" on social media:Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/beauthenticorGTFOInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/beauthenticorGTFOWebsite: https://beauthenticorgtfo.com Follow Podcast Host Eric Oberembt on social media:Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/eric.oberembtInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/oberembt

In this episode, Hannah (@made2movept) tackles “tennis elbow” (lateral elbow tendinopathy) through a real CrossFit/pickleball case—what it is, why rest/ice/sleeves feel good but don't fix it, and how tendons actually get better with the right mechanical loading. She breaks down the overflowing-cup model (calm symptoms, then build capacity), pain guardrails (≤ 3–4/10 with a 24–48 hr check), and a simple progression from isometric wrist holds to eccentrics, carries, pressing, and a staged return to rowing, kipping, and pickleball. You'll learn where dry needling fits (a window, not the solution), realistic timelines (weeks to feel better; months to remodel), and how to modify training so you can keep lifting and playing without flares.Want real, no-BS advice on health, training, and living pain-free? Growth hormone supports anti-aging and can boost fat loss, but human growth hormone supplements don't always produce the best results. In this video, I'll show you how to boost growth hormone naturally by up to 2000% for the most growth hormone benefits!Growth hormone is vital for fat loss, muscle building, repair, and recovery. However, it declines with age—so it's something you want to boost naturally. When growth hormone levels decrease, we lose muscle mass, gain body fat, experience a decline in bone density, our skin becomes thinner, and insulin sensitivity decreases.Growth hormone works by signaling the hormone IGF-1 through a conversion process in the liver with the help of insulin. Although insulin is necessary for this process, excessive insulin can inhibit growth hormone. Obesity, sugar, stress, alcohol, overeating, low vitamin D, and poor sleep can also block growth hormone. To boost growth hormone naturally by 2 to 3x, try the following: •Increase GABA and melatonin •L-glutamine •Arginine (Avoid taking this close to a workout)•Cold therapy•Alpha-GPC •Hypoxia training•Keto diet •High-protein diet Deep sleep and intermittent fasting can significantly increase growth hormone levels by up to 5-10 times. To boost growth hormone by 10-15x, try prolonged fasting. The best way to boost human growth hormone is through high-intensity exercise. Try working with heavy loads for the best natural HGH booster. Squats, deadlifts, sprinting, and CrossFit can further boost growth hormone levels.Disclaimer: Dr. Eric Berg received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 1988.
