Watch the YouTube version of this episode HEREAre you a business owner looking for tips to create a stronger business? In this episode of the Maximum Lawyer Podcast, host Tyson Mutrux explores essential strategies for entrepreneurs, focusing on copywriting, productivity, and decision-making.Copywriting can be used as an advertising tool and can reel in business if done right. Using the Copywriting Playbook, Tyson shares some tips on how to use it effectively for a business. First is to make a specific promise, then add a vehicle or method for that promise, move on to including a timeline and then finish by anchoring it with a number. What this does is show the individual looking at your business what you are going to help them achieve or what they will get out of working with you. It is a quick and catchy tagline that will entice the individual.Tyson also provides some tips on how a business owner can make effective business decisions. One tip is that you only need 51% certainty to make a decision. If you have a bunch of decisions up in the air and you don't know what move to make, if you are more than sure on which direction to go, follow it. Don't take more than 48 hours to make a decision on anything for your business. Another tip is to hire someone based on 3 questions: What specific result will this person own? How do they move the firm forward? Should this role be done in-house or outsourced? If you can answer these questions, you are ready to hire.Take a listen to learn more!2:18 Breakdown of effective copywriting strategies12:38 Tips for faster, more effective business decisions20:07 Harvard Business Review study on productivity34:16 How AI is changing job applicationsTune in to today's episode and checkout the full show notes here.

Read Online“No one patches an old cloak with a piece of unshrunken cloth, for its fullness pulls away from the cloak and the tear gets worse. People do not put new wine into old wineskins. Otherwise the skins burst, the wine spills out, and the skins are ruined. Rather, they pour new wine into fresh wineskins, and both are preserved.” Matthew 9:16–17The parable above teaches us that even if someone were to faithfully understand and live the authentic Law that was given through Moses and the prophets, Jesus' new teaching of grace, the New Law, was so different that it was not simply an improvement of the old, it completely replaced it. Furthermore, many of the customs taught by the Pharisees were unfaithful representations of the Law of Moses. They had deviated from the Law's meaning and replaced it with their own scrupulous and erroneous multiplication of external practices. Thus, Jesus' New Law needed to break away from these deviations completely. To use a modern example, if you were to have an old phone that had become obsolete or stopped working, you wouldn't buy a new phone so as to remove various parts from it to try to add those parts to the old phone to fix it. Instead, you use the new phone as a complete replacement for the old one.A central quality of the New Law of grace is that it is entirely new and transforming. Therefore, by embracing this New Law, we become entirely new creations in Christ. Grace doesn't simply patch that which is weak and sinful in us. It transforms us, elevating our human nature to an entirely new existence. This teaching is not only directed at the misguided teachings that the Pharisees had developed over the years, it was directed at human life itself. Not only were the Jewish customs to go through a transformation, humanity itself was to go through a transformation. Everything is made new in Christ. This teaching applies just as much to us today as it did to the Jewish people of old. Today, we not only receive the new life of grace in Baptism, but we also receive it anew and share in this ongoing transforming renewal every time we allow grace to touch us more deeply and transform us more fully into the people God wants us to be. The “new patch” and the “new wine” are always transforming, and we must look forward to this newness throughout our lives. Reflect, today, upon the joyful discovery that awaits you every day. Discovering the New Law of grace, accepting it into your life, and allowing it to transform you will set you on a path of discovery that will never get old. It is an ongoing discovery that is far greater than anything this world has to offer. Nothing can ever compare to the gift of God alive in our lives. It will never get old. It will always be transforming. And it will always be new. Ponder this gift God offers you today and say “Yes” to it with all your heart. My transforming Lord, You continuously offer to renew me, transform me and elevate me to the life of grace. I thank You for this Gift and desire to accept it with all my heart. May I always be ready and willing to say “Yes” to You and the transformation that awaits me as I discover this ever new treasure of Your Grace. Jesus, I trust in You. Federal Judge Brian Murphy—the unelected, black-robed, tyrannical, inferior federal district trial court judge raised to the federal bench on December 6, 2024, a FULL MONTH AFTER the re-election of President Donald J. Trump, was a mere 200 days on the bench when he had the dubious honor to be checked by the US Supreme Court itself on June 24 of this year, when SCOTUS paused the injunction Judge Murphy had issued against Trump's efforts to deport murderers and other violent illegal migrants from our great nation. That SCOTUS check didn't even give Judge Murphy pause, however, as the SAME DAY he issued an order informing the White House that the SCOTUS ruling against him nevertheless left him with the authority to order about the President in the exercise of his core and plenary Article III Executive Branch authority as if Trump were a mere clerk in Judge Murphy's court.Naturally, Trump immediately appealed this lawless judge's order right back to the Supreme court.A mere 9 days later, yesterday, July 3, 2025, SCOTUS was obliged to issue a rare “clarification” of its June 24 order against Judge Murphy, explaining as if to an idiot that their ruling against him was COMPREHENSIVE, and not something around which a judge on the federal bench for a mere 209 days was free to wiggle around. Join me LIVE as I break all this down into plain English, and explain what SHOULD be the consequence for unelected, black-robed, tyrannical, inferior federal court judge demonstrates such a psychotic intent to unlawfully constrain our elected Article II Executive Branch president in carrying out the will of the American people. Christopher Bennett is a native of Craigsville, Virginia, who made national headlines in 2003 when, at 18, he fatally shot his stepfather, Vincent McDorman. Bennett was subsequently convicted of capital murder as well as robbery and breaking and entering, accepting a plea deal that resulted in a sentence totaling 1,800 years—equivalent to three life terms under Virginia law.According to Bennett, he stumbled into the home after hearing his sister's cries and confronted his stepfather as he was allegedly molesting her. The case has sparked ongoing debate, with supporters portraying Bennett as a juvenile who acted to protect his siblings from abuse.Victoria McDorman, Bennett's younger sister, is central to both the case and the ongoing campaign for his clemency. She has publicly recounted enduring repeated abuse at the hands of their stepfather and described her brother's actions as brave and necessary. Victoria and other family members have participated in rallies—including one in 2020 in Craigsville—calling for Bennett's release, highlighting the trauma they endured and advocating for a reexamination of his sentence. In recent years, their story has attracted further attention through podcasts like True Crime Broads, which features Victoria's voice as she elaborates on those events and continues to champion her brother as a hero rather than a criminal.https://linktr.ee/UnforbiddentruthBecome a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/unforbidden-truth--4724561/support.

On this episode, three kids — Charlie from Brooklyn, Knox from Denver, and Sienna from Houston — join LKBH host Todd Loyd to discuss the great outdoors — and how nature makes them feel. The kids and Todd then hike up an enormous imaginary mountain to travel to the Land of Qook-a-lackas … arriving JUST at the right moment to help a Qook-a-lacka friend, Qwiffin (played by the amazing Maulik Pancholy), grow a "memory garden." What is a memory garden?!Qwiffin explains: "Well, it's a garden, but instead of being made out of dirt and seeds and the power of photosynthesis, it grows in a different way: It grows from our memories of being outdoors in nature." The kids and Todd help Qwiffin brainstorm amazing memories of nature in all four seasons: ❄️,

Donald Trump issued several executive orders punishing law firms who represented clients or causes he didn't like. Four of the law firms sued him, arguing his executive orders were unconstitutional. Given a new court ruling in favor of the fourth law firm, it's a clean sweep - Trump and his DOJ have now lost all four cases. But, it's something of a surprise, with just one day left to appeal his first loss, Trump's DOJ has filed an appeal to one of those cases. If you're interested in supporting our all-volunteer efforts, you can become a Team Justice patron at: / glennkirschner If you'd like to support Glenn and buy Team Justice and Justice Matters merchandise visit:https://shop.spreadshirt.com/glennkir...Check out Glenn's website at https://glennkirschner.com/Follow Glenn on:Threads: https://www.threads.net/glennkirschner2Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/glennkirschner2Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/glennkirsch...Bluesky: https://bsky.app/profile/glennkirschn...TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/glennkirschner2See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.

Send us a text if you want to be on the Podcast & explain why!Professor Barabara Zabawa owner of wellnesslaw.com and author ofQuick & Easy Wellness Law: "No Fluff" Answers to Wellness Practitioners' Most Common Legal Questions & Law for Fitness Managers and Exercise ProfessionalsWhat's the real difference between certification and licensure? Can a waiver actually protect you from liability? Where exactly is the line between personal training and physical therapy? These are the critical questions facing fitness professionals in what legal expert Barbara Zabawa calls "the Wild West" of wellness law.In this eye-opening conversation, Professor Zabawa—a wellness law specialist with 25 years of experience and author of "No More Wild West: The Need for Standards in the Wellness Industry"—cuts through the confusion surrounding fitness industry legalities. She reveals why certifications aren't legally required (despite what many believe), explains how gyms and insurance companies create private requirements that feel like legal mandates, and offers a sobering look at when waivers actually protect you—and when they absolutely don't.The discussion takes a particularly practical turn when addressing scope of practice concerns. Zabawa describes the "ideal client" for non-licensed professionals and the red flags that should prompt referrals to licensed healthcare providers. For trainers working online, she shares a surprising legal risk many never consider: being held liable for visible hazards in your remote client's environment.Perhaps most valuable is Zabawa's insight into why more injured clients don't sue their trainers (it's not what you think), and the specific steps fitness professionals can take to protect themselves legally. John Quinn is joined by Robert Loigman, partner in Quinn Emanuel's New York office, and Eric Winston, partner in Quinn Emanuel's Los Angeles office. They discuss the extensive litigation that has followed the 2008 collapse of Bernie Madoff's Ponzi scheme. The litigation stems from a liquidation by a court-appointed trustee under the Securities Investor Protection Act (SIPA). The primary goal of the liquidation was to recover assets for Madoff's victims. The litigation has continued for 17 years, so far, because of the number of parties involved and the multitude of proceedings and appeals in both the U.S. and foreign courts. The trustee has pursued clawback claims against “feeder funds” under fraudulent transfer theories, targeting both “net winners” who withdrew more than they invested and “net losers” who withdrew less than they invested. After the estate recovered $7 billion recovery from one feeder fund, investors began to anticipate higher recoveries than normally occur in SIPA proceedings. Over time, a secondary market in Madoff claims developed, with distressed asset investors buying claims at steep discounts and profiting when recoveries exceeded expectations. The Madoff litigation has led to several significant legal developments. One key issue involved included the safe harbor under the Bankruptcy Code for good faith conduct. Initially, a judge in the SDNY ruled that to show a lack of good faith, a trustee must show that an investor was willfully blind to the fraud at issue. In 2021, the Second Circuit ruled that simple inquiry notice is enough, placing a greater burden on investors to investigate irregularities.Another significant legal development was the Second Circuit's ruling that U.S. bankruptcy law could reach transfers between foreign debtors and foreign transferees, expanding the potential reach of clawback efforts. Finally, the Second Circuit ruled that in a Chapter 15 bankruptcy case, certain U.S. standards would apply to transactions between foreign entities even though the foreign courts with jurisdiction over the entities would apply different standards. The uniquely large and visible fraud in the Madoff litigation case may have led courts to expand legal doctrines in ways that affect bankruptcy and investor litigation more generally.Podcast Link: Law-disrupted.fmHost: John B. What if the greatest threat to your evolution isn't who harms you—but who gains access to you unearned? The Law of Access contends that intimacy without discernment is not love—it is energetic leakage disguised as vulnerability. Drawing from trauma theory, quantum coherence, and esoteric spiritual law, this episode obliterates the illusion that exposure equals intimacy.

Welcome to The B-Side! Here we sometimes talk about movie stars! We sometimes talk about movie directors! Today, we talk about both! Specifically, the B-Sides of the Mission: Impossible franchise. It's just Conor and I today folks, waxing poetic on Tom Cruise's legendary franchise and the B-Sides that we were inspired to discuss. We've chosen one for each of the Mission movies. It's also July 3rd on the day this episode is published, so happy 63rd birthday Tom Cruise! For the first Mission: Impossible, we speak on The Avengers from 1998. An adaptation of the popular British television series from the ‘60s, director Jeremiah S. Chechik's film was dismantled in post-production, slashed to ribbons following bad test screenings. The final product runs well under ninety minutes and is hard to understand. It sits on the other end of blockbusters in the ‘90s adapted from hit televisions from yesteryear. We also discuss the last five films Sean Connery made (animated film Sir Billi not included), as well as the ones he turned down. For Mission: Impossible II, we chose another John Woo American motion picture: Paycheck, starring Ben Affleck and The Avengers star Uma Thurman. This is a true B-Side, and the beginning of Affleck's now-infamous lost half-decade as a fledgling movie star. For Mission: Impossible III, we return to television inspiration. In honor of director J.J. Abrams, Conor and I go long on No Man's Land, one of the first produced screenwriting credits of Dick Wolf, who would go on to create the, ahem, Law & Order universe of shows. This Charlie Sheen/ D.B Sweeney vehicle walked so Point Break and The Fast and the Furious could run. There's chatter about David Ayer, that scene from Fire in the Sky, and how Charlie Sheen is always better when he plays the villain. For Ghost Protocol, we debate the Brad Bird B-Side Tomorrowland. We discuss libertarianism (for like two minutes) and the misbegotten message of the George Clooney blockbuster. For Rogue Nation we honor the Hitchcock homage of the opening and discuss one of Hitch's most underrated films: Topaz. Truly a can't-miss picture, which spurns a talk about the ideal Hitchcock leading man. For Fallout, there's Michael Mann's Blackhat. We appreciate the still underseen hacker epic, and make the claim that Chris Hemsworth is the best movie star of the original Avengers (Marvel this time, not British) not named Robert Downey Jr. For Dead Reckoning Part 1, Conor goes long on Hayao Miyazaki's Lupin III: The Castle of Cagliostro, from the little yellow car to the action to the animation. And, finally, for The Final Reckoning, we celebrate John Sturges' Ice Station Zebra. The second act of the final film in the series is a reimagining of sorts of the 1968 submarine epic, with way more stunts and underwater photography. There's also mention of the Billy Crystal 1997 Oscars opening, this lovely promo for the Albert Brooks movie Mother (ok it's not mentioned I just love it), and the Oliver Stone episode of the Light the Fuse podcast.
Stuart Wachowicz - TVCA1406 - Within the world of the many faiths identifying as Christian, there is a heated debate over whether God's law, as written in the Bible, has been abolished, become void, and no longer holds relevance for Christians today. If this were true, then who or what determines what is right or wrong? Thankfully, this is not the case. You can demonstrate from the Bible that God's law is good, beneficial, and should be kept by every Christian today.

Step aside Law & Order - this is the real story. In this episode of WATG?, we sit down with Michael Dowd, the notorious former NYPD officer at the center of the jaw-dropping documentary The Seven Five. From shaking down drug dealers to ending up on Joe Rogan's couch (after serving 13 years in federal prison), Dowd holds nothing back. It's a gritty, hilarious, and brutally honest ride through greed, corruption, redemption, and regret - all delivered with that unmistakable New York sarcasm that says, “Don't worry, kid, we'll show you where the Empire State Building is, but we're judging you the whole time.”Expect wild stories about pocketing coke, losing his badge, pissing off Joe Rogan, and almost getting punked by a New York Times therapist. This episode dives deep into the fine art of racketeering, dirty money, and the blurry line between good cop and bad guy - all told by the guy who lived it.

On today's episode, Lawfare Managing Editor Tyler McBrien sits down with Lindsay Freeman, Director of Technology, Law & Policy at the Human Rights Center, UC Berkeley School of Law, to discuss her recent Lawfare article, “War Crimes for Fun and Profit.” They talk about how and why so-called war influencers linked to private military companies such as the Wagner Group in the Sahel are posting “conflict content” online. They also address why this graphic and gory content, which often amounts to self-incriminating evidence of war crimes, has led to so little accountability. And finally, they discuss efforts to close that impunity gap, including an Article 15 submission that Freeman and her team at the Human Rights Center sent to the International Criminal Court last fall. The Trump administration has been consistently violating the due process rights of immigrants by trying to deport them before they can assert their constitutional rights to notice and opportunity to be heard. To stop this abusive practice, the federal court judges in Maryland instituted a two-day pause rule before they could be deported. This happens if someone files a petition with the court when they are detained. Trump then had his Department of Justice attorneys file a lawsuit against every single federal district judge in Maryland to try to defeat the two-day pause rule.Glenn discusses the new reporting and the newly filed lawsuit against all federal district judges in Maryland.
