My goal in January was really around starting to understand how my mindset and my beliefs and my expectations, with home and kids can really impact our home life. And so I was really cognizant around how my mindset and beliefs on my kids and how they behave, how that can actually influence the environment that we're in. And so I've been noticing a lot more lately that they're really starting to hit each other. You know, they're expressive, very physically, very loud. So they're hitting, there, we've got big emotions. We've got spitting. And so my mindset was really around how can I build an energy and a vision and a mindset for the behavior I want to see from them versus that which I am seeing. And so I felt like my mindset was really reinforcing that I was telling the stories of how naughty my kids were at home and how they just can't stop hitting and spitting on each other. And I said, you know what? That's probably reinforcing the behavior. And so how can I shift my mindset to that which I want to see? And so I'm really starting to sit in the mindset and the energy of respect and consideration for each other and hands to ourselves. None of this comes overnight, but that's really what I've been focusing on recently is how can my mindset drive the behavior that I'm looking for for my children? Die meisten Menschen glauben, um glücklich zu sein, müssen viele Weichen richtig gestellt werden und dass es richtig schwierig ist. Dabei stimmt das gar nicht. Um glücklich zu sein, musst du nur loslassen, was dich unglücklich macht. Zugegeben, du darfst dich schon ein wenig mit dir selbst beschäftigen, um dies herauszufinden. Du darfst ehrlich mit dir selbst sein. Möglicherweise braucht dies etwas Zeit und Mut. Aber: Es lohnt sich. Schließlich geht es um dein Glück. Dieses ist übrigens keine Institution, die einmal angelegt, immer da ist. Es ist vielmehr ein wundervoller Garten, der gepflegt und gehegt werden sollte. Du kannst dich jederzeit auf den Weg machen: Schau hin: Was macht dich glücklich und was belastet dich. Meist kommst du nach kurzer Zeit darauf, wie du die Belastung ändern kannst. Dann heißt es nur noch: Sei mutig und tue es. Schaue nicht auf das Problem. Schaue auf das, was du möchtest, was dein Herz erfreut und springen lässt. Ich wünsche dir viel Freude mit dieser Folge. Dies ist die zweite Folge unserer Mindset Challenge. Wenn wir unsere Gedanken im Griff haben, haben wir nicht nur unsere Gesundheit im Griff, sondern unser ganzes Leben. Aus diesem Grund ist es so wichtig, sich wirklich ausgiebig mit den Dingen zu beschäftigen, die in unserem Kopf passieren. Zum Beispiel Sorgen. Sorgen sind nicht real. Sorgen ziehen uns runter. Sie entziehen uns massiv Energie und lassen uns klein und schlecht fühlen. Als Folge atmen wir flach, machen einen krummen Rücken, lassen uns gehen und hemmen durch diese Haltung unsere Regeneration im Körper. Dies wiederum lässt uns noch schlechter fühlen. Aus diesem Grund macht es Sinn, sich seine Sorgen einmal genauer anzuschauen und ihre Energie für andere Zwecke zu gebrauchen - quasi zu recyceln. Denn: Energie verschwindet nicht. Energie wird umgewandelt. Wenn Du gerade Sorgen hast, dann lade ich dich zu der 5-Punkte-Analyse ein: Punkt 1: Unterziehe deine aktuellen Sorgen dem Realitätscheck. Wie realistisch ist es wirklich, dass das, was du dir gerade vorstellst, wirklich zutrifft? Punkt 2: Schaue ganz genau hin. Was gibt es gerade für dich zu lernen? Welche Lektion bringen dir diese Gedanken? Es ist meistens immer wieder die gleiche Lektion - bis wir sie gemeistert haben. Punkt 3: Komm in die volle Überzeugung, dass in deinem Leben alles für dich geschieht. Bleibe im Vertrauen. Punkt 4: Nimm dich nicht zu wichtig. Punkt 5: Entscheide dich dafür, den Fokus zu korrigieren. Setze den Fokus ganz bewußt anders. Ich wünsche dir gute Erkenntnisse in dieser Folge. Mindset Monday: What Are You Waiting For? This week's Mindset Challenge is to invest some time and ask yourself, “What are you waiting for?” Maybe you're waiting for someone, or work to get less busy, or your debt to get paid down, or to reach a certain body fat level. When we ask ourselves what we're waiting for we're also bringing to light what emotional payoff is on the other side of this event - be it happiness, peace of mind, freedom, security et cetera. Now there's two ways to use this information. The first, more quote-unquote practical way, is to ask yourself what habit change or environment/routine change you can make that will improve this situation, and then make a plan to start implementing some percentage of that change today. The second one is to ask yourself what need is behind that strategy, recognising that it is a strategy, and then ask yourself what other ways might that need be met, either partially or completely. We all have a tendency to get fixated on a strategy, and even knowing this I'm no different and have to regularly check myself before I wreck myself pursuing one strategy that I've become overly focused on. Look at what you're waiting for, what's behind that and how else it can be satisfied, and you will find how freeing this thought process is.
