Here we go with another Tuesday. Some rain possible this morning…hopefully if it does rain, it'll dry out by the time I have to mow the lawn this afternoon. We started the show this morning with the latest news on the flooding in the Milwaukee area this past weekend, including Governor Evers declaring a state of emergency. Also in the news this morning, President Donald Trump is deploying the National Guard in the city of Washington to take over for the city's police department, a nationwide recall on a hand soap, Oktoberfest tickets are on-sale now, and a wild video of a passenger boat in Hawaii crashing into shore. Elsewhere in sports, Skip Bayless reviews "Happy Gilmore 2", and the Vikings have a new male cheerleader this year and people on the internet are not happy. We let you know what's on TV today/tonight and we also let you know what's new on New Release Tuesday. Plus, a late-night announcement from T-Swift! No Grant Bilse this week as he's on a fishing trip. But no worries, he'll be back next week to tell us all about it. A very cool story about a couple of lifeguards at a public pool in Ohio who left their posts to save a possible drowning victim at a nearby creek, and another incredible story about a groom who learned sign language before exchanging his vows. After attending several different music festivals over the last few weeks & months, Brian & Jean looked at an interesting list of some of the strangest things found left behind after a music fest. And the latest NFL sensation isn't a player, but rather his mom! In today's edition of "Bad News with Happy Music", we had stories about a wedding DJ that was walking around in a very interesting outfit, a man who "accidentally" shot his wife & then stopped for a beer on his way to bring her to the emergency room, a guy who survived two days with a crossbow bolt stuck in his brain, a scary study about A.I. and what it really thinks about us, and a #FloridaWoman who stopped to help an injured opossum & got killed by another driver.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

One more day of work before the long, holiday weekend! We started things off this morning with an update on that stabbing in the Kwik Trip parking lot in West Salem last month, some good news about the Leinie's Lodge, an update on the bartender in Milwaukee who was a victim of a hit-and-run in October, and a WI babysitter who killed a family's dog. In sports, we recapped last night's MNF matchup between the Ravens & Chargers and we took a look ahead at the rest of this week's games. Plus, allegations that the Jake Paul/Mike Tyson event was rigged, and former NHL player Paul Bissonnette is NOT to be trifled with. We let you know what's new on New Release Tuesday and we talked to Grant Bilse of the Wisco Sports Show about this weekend's Packer win…and a look ahead at the games on Thanksgiving. Lots of turkey-day stats & info including a recipe for stuffing made from White Castle sliders, how much the average Thanksgiving meal is going to cost this year, and a VERY expensive cranberry sauce being served up in NYC. Plus, the most hated food on the table at Thanksgiving. Heart-warming story about a man who tracked down a stranger that saved his life nearly six decades ago! Funny video of a husband who listed some of the things his wife has said to him that he wouldn't be able to say to her. If you love Christmas/holiday movies, then there's a new "job" that'll pay you to watch & review 25 of them in 25 days. And during today's "Bad News with Happy Music", we had stories about a #FloridaWoman who shot her own daughter at a McDonald's, a TikToker who stole from Target & actually posted video of it on her feed, a warning about knock-off perfumes, and a new "human washing machine". It's like SUMMER out there this morning. Minus the rain, obviously. But it was in the 60's when I left for work. Nice & balmy. Unfortunately, that's not going to stick around. We started you off this morning with news about the current Mayor of La Crosse, another member of Donald Trump's administration being nominated, a proposal for free school meals in Wisconsin, and a woman from Brownsville, WI, is facing charges in a "large-scale" poaching scheme. In sports, the Bucks eked out a win last night, the Badger men's basketball team remained undefeated thanks to an overtime win last night, the Cowboys are falling apart & apparently…so is their stadium! ICYMI, Spirit Airlines filed for bankruptcy, so we took a look at how that could affect holiday travel over the next few weeks. We let you know what's new on New Release Tuesday and we talked to Grant Bilse from the Wisco Sports Show! Cool story about a woman who donated part of her liver to save a young boy and finally got to meet him. And another great story about a guy in Georgia who saw a burning house & was able to break down the front door & save the person trapped inside. And during today's "Bad News with Happy Music", we had stories about an idiot who forgot his bag of drugs on a train and reported the bag missing, a granny in the UK who had a great response when she was busted for possession of cocaine, a pig on the loose named "Notorious P.I.G.", and a sad statement about where we get our news from in this country. Great story about a guy who just finished walking barefoot across America to raise money & awareness for men's mental health. Physical tickets for shows & sporting events have become a thing of the past, but now they're making a comeback of sorts, even though it's going to cost you some extra cash.
