New Age Alien Deceptions (audio) David Eells - 4/20/25   The camel's nose is in the tent. We are headed towards a New World Order in the midst of a Galactic Federation of “aliens” aka, demons by those of discernment. (Who of us voted for this? The Alliance leaders did. Is this Communism?) I want to share with you some updates regarding the AI, New Age and Alien Deceptions we are witnessing among the Alliance and others. Non-territorial cooperation treaty signed by 177 nations. (We are to be realigned as a one world order) ·         Sun. 27 April 2025: Interplanetary programs declassified. First public mention of secret space operations. Unity Accord with Off World Representatives acknowledged. (When did we have a say?) ·         Tues. 29 April 2025: New Earth Constitutions signed locally. Communities select Peace Councils to represent them in the Planetary Council. “Governments” replaced with Service Cells. (We are being absorbed into their Galactic terminology) ·         Wed. 30 April 2025: Final transfer to Quantum Internet complete. All devices migrate to Q-Net. Artificial Intelligence fully transparent, accountable and people-aligned. (We cannot be aligned with antichrist) ·         Fri. 2 May 2025: Healing centers begin opening across continents. Med Beds, DNA repair chambers, and neuro-harmonization technologies become publicly available. Next, let me share a few revelations from brethren on our site that relate to these alien, aka demon deceptions.     Aliens Are Demons Manifested in Flesh There are many people convinced of “aliens” or “guides” that they feel are friendly to humanity, which is a strong delusion because all of the aliens are demons, as the Scripture says. Have you noticed that many of the Planet X / Nibiru researchers have fallen for what they read the ancients said of aliens showing up when Planet X did? They were deceived by demons as a type for our day. We should not be deceived; they are being released by God to deceive. Jud.5 Now I desire to put you in remembrance, though ye know all things once for all, that the Lord, having saved a people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed them that believed not. 6 And angels that kept not their own principality, but left their proper habitation, he hath kept in everlasting bonds under darkness unto the judgment of the great day. It is possible they will play the good alien / bad alien game to drive the multitudes into the camp of the so-called “good aliens,” but they are all demons.   G.C. - 06/15/10  (David's notes in red) In my dream, I was outside in a populated area, maybe in a park or something. It was nighttime and it seemed like any other summer night. All of a sudden, a lot of strange lights started appearing in the sky. First, it seemed like hundreds of shooting stars falling to Earth; then, as the light became more illuminated, the objects took the shape of spacecraft. The night sky was lit up like the Fourth of July! Everyone was shocked and amazed; from east to west, the sky filled with this armada of craft entering Earth's atmosphere. (What the ancients believed were aliens, who showed up during the time of Planet X, according to their writings, were in fact demons who are fallen angels and can take on the appearance of physical bodies, just like God's angels can, but for the purpose of deception. The Tribulation covenant could be made under the cover of catastrophes. Just as the Woman is going into the wilderness, there is a war in heaven and Satan and his fallen angels are cast to earth to deceive the whole world. Rev.12:9 And the great dragon was cast down, the old serpent, he that is called the Devil and Satan, the deceiver of the whole world; he was cast down to the earth, and his angels were cast down with him. We also received a dream of a bright star falling from heaven and the confirming scripture Isaiah 14, where Satan is falling from heaven. Isa 14:12-13 How art thou fallen from heaven, O day-star, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, that didst lay low the nations! 13 And thou saidst in thy heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God; and I will sit upon the mount of congregation, in the uttermost parts of the north; 14 I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will make myself like the Most High. 15 Yet thou shalt be brought down to Sheol, to the uttermost parts of the pit.) Satan deceives men into thinking he is God, and he is pleased with unregenerate, falsely called “good men,” which is the doctrine of the New Agers. 2Co.11:13 For such men are false apostles, deceitful workers, fashioning themselves into apostles of Christ. 14 And no marvel; for even Satan fashioneth himself into an angel of light. 15 It is no great thing therefore if his ministers also fashion themselves as ministers of righteousness, whose end shall be according to their works. The Alliance is bringing about many good moral changes but it appears they are complicit in this deception of the nations. Rev.18:23 and the light of a lamp shall shine no more at all in thee; and the voice of the bridegroom and of the bride shall be heard no more at all in thee: for thy merchants were the princes of the earth; for with thy sorcery were all the nations deceived. Back to the dream, I was very skeptical, even while seeing this with my own two eyes. I confidently told everyone, “Don't be fooled; it's a hologram!” (Which is one of the theories.) I thought these sights were just a crafty trick (which is true but not as a false vision) but then the ships started to get closer to the ground and they ultimately landed. By this time, I was starting to get bewildered; I didn't know what to think. I was really caught off guard. I thought for sure it was all some sort of illusion by the evil rulers of the world. (Is the Alliance in on the plan of “strong delusion”, which is according to God's will to separate the wheat from the tares? 2Th.2:8 And then shall be revealed the lawless one, whom the Lord Jesus shall slay with the breath of his mouth, and bring to nought by the manifestation of his coming; 9 even he, whose coming is according to the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, (Can fallen angels perform lying wonders? Did we get to vote on joining the Galactic Federation?) 10 and with all deceit of unrighteousness for them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. 11 And for this cause God sendeth them a working of error, that they should believe a lie: 12 that they all might be judged who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness. It appears in this dream the fallen angels' deception is so strong that God's people will be tested to see who really believes. Mar.13:22 for there shall arise false Christs and false prophets, and shall show signs and wonders, that they may lead astray, if possible, the elect.) Once the craft landed, the door opened and some humanoid beings walked out. Everyone was amazed and startled at the same time. I couldn't believe my eyes. Still believing this was a hologram, I ran over to the ship to touch it and realized it was real. (Satan and his angels are very technological, if they have to be, and have the ability to manifest and interact with the physical realm. They gave men atomic bombs and anti-gravity flying saucers.) I swallowed hard, realizing I was wrong, and I ran back to the crowd. The humanoid beings dressed in Star Trek-type apparel were being led out by a blond-haired woman. (There is a woman who has introduced many to speaking and hearing from aliens. This is no different than a seance, which is speaking to aliens called familiar spirits.) I, being overwhelmed and slightly intimidated, ran up to her and began to rebuke her in my tongue language. (I often do this in dreams when I feel physically or mentally helpless against an enemy; it often gets me results.) I thought for sure she would shrivel up in a puddle of goop, like something out of The Wizard of Oz. But, to my astonishment, she just kind of pushed me out of the way, without even acknowledging me. I was perplexed. (The answer to this is, when God sends a delusion to deceive the evil world, we cannot cast it down, nor should we try to. 2Th.2:11 And for this cause God sendeth them a working of error, that they should believe a lie: 12 that they all might be judged who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness. As you can see, we only have authority to help the believers.) I watched the group of beings disperse into the crowd. It seemed like they had specific orders and didn't even stop to talk to anyone; they just went about whatever it is they were sent here for. I remember being surrounded by hundreds of people like me -- everyone just totally in awe of what they saw. After some time, I started to see the beings again, but now they did not look like humans. They had glass faces, like ice. It was like they were wearing a mask, but they weren't -- I could see through their heads and nothing was inside. (fallen spirits) They had hideous, clown-like faces with big smiles, like jack-o-lanterns. (Thinking these beings to be mere humanoids while in fact they are demon-possessed is more common than we think. But the whole world outside of Christ will be deceived and possessed.) They were now corralling people like cattle in different areas (FEMA camps). The adults were forced to separate from the children and were taken to a designated area. The children were all taken to another area and placed in long lines, all of which led into a large circus-like tent. (This alien disclosure will bring much confusion and distraction as well as cause some people to give up their faith in the One True God.) None of the children quite knew what was happening; they were all a little less concerned than the adults. I remember leaving the adult group and running over to see what was happening to the children. After seeing what was taking place, I immediately woke up.   I Met Satan :o) G.C. - 4/19/11 (David's notes in red) I would like to share a dream I had that confirms we should not fear Satan or evil. Evil is not as powerful as our minds sometimes imagine, and Satan is no different. I dreamed that I was with an unknown person in this dream who I believe was an angel. I could tell he knew a lot more of what was going on than I did. I accompanied him everywhere he went. I was like an observer. Toward the end of the dream, we entered an elevator. This elevator took us deep inside the Earth. I was told we were going to Hell to see Satan. The ride took a long time and my mind was wondering about how Satan would really appear. I was thinking, “Would he be intimidating? Would he be scary? How would I react to seeing him?” Once we arrived at the very bottom, the door opened. I looked around and we were inside a very large, dark cave. Hell was just like I'd imagined it: Big, dark and cavernous. I looked out of the area we were in and looked out into the larger opening. I saw armies and very sophisticated weapons. There was violence taking place and fire was everywhere; it was almost like a war itself. One of the weapons spotted us as we came out of the elevator and fired a missile at us, but it missed and exploded against the wall. My companion, the angel, was never frightened; it was like he knew nothing could hurt him. As he walked, I followed; he knew right where he was walking. He came to a door off in a dark corner in the cave. I realized this was Satan's office. Behind the door was the evil one himself. My heart was racing, not from fear but from the suspense. The angel I was with opened the door and there sat Satan in a chair behind a desk. But to my amazement, Satan was not a seven-foot giant with goat horns. He was a clown. Yes, a clown. And a cartoon clown at that. I was shocked and a little disappointed. I was expecting something more terrifying. Clearly the Lord is saying that Satan and his demons are putting on a false face but are not to be feared. Luk.10:17 And the seventy returned with joy, saying, Lord, even the demons are subject unto us in thy name. 18 And he said unto them, I beheld Satan fallen as lightning from heaven. 19 Behold, I have given you authority to tread upon serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall in any wise hurt you. The angel then revealed to me that Satan is planning something big for Earth. During our trip back up in the elevator, I saw all these green vines shooting up through the elevator shaft from Hell and they were headed straight to Earth. There were a lot of them, like something from Jack and the Beanstalk. But instead of reaching from Earth to the heavens, they were going from Hell to the earth above. Then I woke up. (According to the follow up dream that Father gave him recently, the vines represent the alien deception that satan is sending to earth from the pit of hell.) G.C. said, “Below is a continuation from the dream above from 2011 called. “I Met Satan”. It has the “green vines connection” where green vines were growing up from hell, and the angel told me, “Satan is planning something big for Earth.” Well, it seems the green vines finally made it to Earth and the plan is revealed....     Satan is Planning Something Big for Earth G.C. - 5/13/22 (David's notes in red) G.C. said, “For a little context, many years ago I worked for mortgage companies securing and repairing vacant foreclosures.” I dreamed that my dad and I had been given a work order to secure and inspect a foreclosed home in Los Angeles, California. (Los Angeles means, “The angels.”) It was a big house in a nice neighborhood. It was owned by a black husband and wife in their 50's or 60's. (UFOs and aliens were big in the 50's and 60's. The black couple owning the house could represent that this is a house of sinners submitted to darkness.) (I gathered this information by looking at their family photos still left at the property.) I thought these folks looked very successful from the photos. It didn't make sense to me how they could lose their house to foreclosure. (Foreclosure means that they can't pay their debt so the house is taken back. The debt for our house has been paid by faith in Jesus. If it's not paid because there is no faith, then it belongs to the devil.) I thought maybe one or both of them died. But I wasn't sure. I just knew something was amiss. (When one loses one's house to the devil, their soul is his too.) We proceeded through the large house, taking photos with a camera I had rented at a local camera shop. These photos were to be provided to the bank. Then we walked into the basement and to our utter amazement, we saw a small alien infant tangled up in green vines that appeared to be growing from the floor of the basement. (And according to the previous dream, they came straight out of hell. This represents the alien deception.) The vines were attached to the wall and the infant was wrapped up in them. He had a large brown head with 2 large eyes. When we saw him and approached him he became aggressive and hissed at us. (The aliens/demons hate Christians.) I remember taking the rented camera and snapping pictures of him. Even though I was astonished at this, I was not overly distracted by it. I proceeded with my work at the property. My dad and I decided not to show the photos to anyone as it would become a distraction to the public. (Could this represent the Father hiding things from the wise and prudent and revealing them unto babes?) I knew people would not be ready to see this. I downloaded the photos, removed them from the camera and told my dad to return the camera to the shop. Later, I sent my report and inspection photos to the bank. The next day, I was out and about and realized the whole world was aware of the alien we had found! They had our photos! They were in every publication and on every news station. I had no idea how this had leaked. (True Christians will recognize this as a deception while the rest of the world will swallow the lie, like the waters out of the mouth of the Dragon.) I assumed it was because we returned the camera and the camera shop found the photos on the device and released them. I knew we had discovered it, but no one would ever know our identity. I was ok with that, but I was a little disturbed by how and why they were released. The world was in a frenzy, to say the least. A few days had passed and I was sent back to the same home by the bank to remove the small area of vines growing in the basement. When I got back to the house, the alien child was gone, but the basement dining room was now absolutely full of green vines. (This will be a worldwide deception that will be ‘fed' to all the people.) The walls and ceiling were now covered. I was supposed to remove them, and it was a daunting task. Then, my dad showed up, and we were talking about the alien. The next thing I knew, I stumbled across the rented camera in the basement. I got so upset at my dad because he returned the case but not the camera. (Honestly, I was worried about the late fees. Lol) He said he forgot to look inside the case when he returned it. I realized something strange had happened. How did the world know of the alien if we never took the camera back? Who released the photos? Then I woke up. (2Th 2:8-12 And then shall be revealed the lawless one, whom the Lord Jesus shall slay with the breath of his mouth, and bring to nought by the manifestation of his coming; 9 even he, whose coming is according to the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, 10 and with all deceit of unrighteousness for them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. 11 And for this cause God sendeth them a working of error, that they should believe a lie: 12 that they all might be judged who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.)     Flesh is Born of Flesh and Not Demons Excerpt from: Sons of God, Aliens and Giants   David Eells God said in John 3:6, That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. So Demons cannot birth Children through humans. Demons can infest humans with lying spirits. (Gen.6:1) And it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the ground, and daughters were born unto them, (2) that the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all that they chose. Believers are the sons of God mentioned here and in the rest of the Scriptures (Psa.82:6; Dt.14:1,2; Hos.1:10; Isa.43:6; etc.). Notice this was “when men began to multiply” not angels. Jesus quoted Psa.82:6 to His people: (82:6) I said, Ye are gods, And all of you sons of the Most High. To be a son you must be born of God, not created, as the angels. Adam was called a son of God and he was born of God when He breathed into him the breath or Spirit (same Hebrew word) of life. Only his flesh was created from the earth and so was ours, which came from his. God specifically says that He never called an angel His son nor are they born of Him. (Heb.1:5) For unto which of the angels said he at any time, Thou art my Son, This day have I begotten (Greek: “born”) thee?.... God specifically says their spirits were created. (7) And of the angels he saith, Who maketh (created) his angels winds (Greek: “spirits”). The proponents of this false doctrine say that Satan came among the angels in Job who were said to be sons of God. It does not say that. Satan, the highest fallen angel, was not a son of God but only came among them to be their accuser as he did with Job. (Job 1:6) Now it came to pass on the day when the sons of God came to present themselves before Jehovah, that Satan also came among them. He immediately begins to accuse them to God. (11) But put forth thy hand now, and touch all that he hath, and he will renounce thee to thy face. Here is the same case. (Zec.3:1) And he showed me Joshua the high priest standing before the angel of Jehovah, and Satan standing at his right hand to be his adversary. (2) And Jehovah said unto Satan, Jehovah rebuke thee, O Satan; yea, Jehovah that hath chosen Jerusalem rebuke thee. (3) Now Joshua was clothed with filthy garments, and was standing before the angel. 4 And he answered and spake unto those that stood before him, saying, Take the filthy garments from off him. And unto him he said, Behold, I have caused thine iniquity to pass from thee, and I will clothe thee with rich apparel. Joshua, the Hebrew word for Jesus, and Jerusalem represent the same thing here, the body of Christ, who are being accused by Satan. Paul said the heavenly Jerusalem was “the general assembly and church of the firstborn who are enrolled in heaven” (Heb.12:23). We are seated with Christ in heavenly places. We, as the sons of God present ourselves before him constantly and Satan comes among us to accuse us. We are never out of God's presence. You will notice that God separated the line of Seth and the line of Cain in Gen.4 and 5, just as he separated Israel from the Gentiles and commanded them to not cross. In the New Testament Christians are forbidden to marry unbelievers (1 Cor.7:39), although if you are married to one do not leave them for God can save them (7:12-14). Notice in all three of these cases we are talking about crossing the sons of God and the sons of the Devil, or men, which is strictly forbidden (1 Cor.7:39; Ezra 9:2; 10:10; 2 Cor.6:14-18). In all of these cases when the sons of God fell away they began to have fellowship with fallen angels which we call demons (Psa.78:49, called here “angels of evil”; 2 Cor.12:7; Greek: “angel of Satan”) Demons did not directly create giants because they cannot. The Scripture teaches that each seed brings forth after its own kind. Jesus said, “that which is born of the flesh is flesh and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit”. Therefore, spirits cannot bring forth flesh. Some would argue that Jesus was born of God. Jesus' spirit was born of God but His flesh was born of David through Mary; “the seed of the woman”. Rom.1:3 concerning his Son, who was born of the seed of David according to the flesh, 4 who was declared [to be] the Son of God with power, according to the spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead. Spirits can inhabit bodies of men that can procreate but they cannot have anything to do with making giants through marrying the daughters of men. (Mat.22:29) But Jesus answered and said unto them, Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God. (30) For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as angels in heaven. Fallen angels do not procreate man's flesh but his spirit and soul. Spirits sow a spiritual seed, not a physical one. Jesus is the Word, who in Matthew 13 sowed the seed of the Word in His people's heart to bring forth His fruit in them, 30, 60, and 100 fold. In Mat.13:24,27,32 the word for seed in Greek is “sperma”. Demons also sow their “sperm” in mankind's hearts to bring forth their evil fruit but this is their spiritual man and not their flesh. Seth, the son of God, is mentioned in the spiritual lineage of Jesus. (Luk.3:38) the [son] of Enos, the [son] of Seth, the [son] of Adam, the [son] of God You will notice that God mentions all of Cain's wicked descendants in Gen.4:16-24. After this we are told, (Gen. 4:25) And Adam knew his wife again; and she bare a son, and called his name Seth. For, [said she], God hath appointed me another seed instead of Abel; for Cain slew him. (26) And to Seth, to him also there was born a son; and he called his name Enosh. Then began men to call upon the name of Lord. Notice after all that evil seed God gave one to replace Abel the righteous seed. Why didn't any of Cain's seed replace Abel as a righteous seed? Obviously, his seed were evil. (1 Jn.3:12) not as Cain was of the evil one. Only after Seth and his son were born did the scripture say “men (plural) began to call on the name of the Lord”. Obviously Cain and his tribe did not call on the Lord. They were sons and daughters of men and as such called on the devil. After Adam there was not another son of God born until Seth; skipping over all of the seed of Cain. (Gen.5:3) And Adam lived a hundred and thirty years, and begat [a son] in his own likeness, after his image (a son of God) ; and called his name Seth. Notice none of Cain's descendants were sons of God but were of men. How then were the giants made? Seth and Cain's lineages stayed separate for hundreds of years. They inbred within their lines, which was not against the command of God at this time. In nature, especially after the curse, this deteriorates the line. They became weaker, smaller, and less intelligent. Wherever there has been in-breeding today, the descendants are sickly in mind and body. When the sons of God began to fall away some became inhabited by demons. This also happened in Israel and Christianity because history always repeats. (Ecc.1:9) That which hath been is that which shall be; and that which hath been done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun. When after years of inbreeding the fallen sons of God and the sons of men crossed, making what is called in nature hybrids. The “Nephilim” were bigger, stronger, and more intelligent because as hybrids they end up with the better physical characteristics of both lines. Later in the Law God forbid inbreeding, at least with close relatives. Now even cousins are a no-no because the farther from Adam we go the stronger the curse has become. The serpent obviously walked on legs in the Garden because God cursed him to crawl on his belly. That curse was gradual and increased as time went by. Even in Job's day, which was in Jacob's day, he saw dinosaurs in Job 40:15 - 41:34. You have to ignore the translator's silly notes calling them hippopotamus and crocodile. We have never seen a hippo with a tail like a cedar tree or a croc that stood so tall that a multitude of men with spears and arrows dared not even approach him. The dinosaurs were serpents with legs. Even today some serpents have vestiges of legs beneath their skin. The fire-breathing dragon in Job 41:18-21 was a tyrannosaurus. The North American continent is the birthplace of the modern New Age movement, and when I immigrated to Canada from France, I felt in awe of what I saw as the vibrant “new spirituality” of this wild land. In comparison, I thought France and old Europe were still living in the Middle Ages. France is now catching up with the New Age, but for many years, it has been very slow to emerge. As part of my new identity, adapting to a new culture and learning English, I became a true product of the New Age. I was eager to embrace the lifestyle and social and spiritual trends of my adoptive country. Paganism is a people or a community observing a polytheistic religion, which is the worship of many gods, as opposed to monotheism, the worship of One Almighty God, the Creator of All that is. A Pagan is also called an irreligious heathen, gentile, or hedonistic person... The great New-Age plan is dedicated to the unification of all races, religions and creeds. This plan is claiming to establish a “new order of things”, it is to make all things new - a new nation, a new race, a new civilization and a new non-sectarian one world religion that has already been recognized by the United Nations. This New Age globalism movement advocates a one-world government, a one-world religion, and a one-world economy; and this would mean the destruction of the sovereignty of nations and religions. New Age teachers are using standard texts of Eastern religions such as the Hindu Baghavad-Gita and the Tibetan Book of the Dead, as well as writings of Jewish mysticism called Kabbala and those gnostic scriptures often called the Apocrypha. Over the years, I became more and more confused in studying such “new revelations” as the Urantia book, the Keys of Enoch. Rick Wiles has denounced Michael Flynn, because he delivered a “New Age prayer” almost word for word by Elizabeth Claire Prophet, a New Age Theosophist and Christian Science advocate, at pastor Hank Kunneman's Christian conference last week and had everyone in the congregation repeat the invocation after him: “ Rick said, “My advice to you is to separate from Gen. Michael Flynn.” In this prayer Flynn invokes “the 7 fold rays and the arch angels”, “in your name and the name of your legions” to help guide humanity (Ascended Masters) and protect us against the enemy and further the purposes of their agenda. Rudolf Steiner (Anthroposophy), Edgar Cayce, Law of One, Aquarian gospel of Jesus Christ, Heindel Max (the Rosicrucian cosmo-conception-Mystic Christianity) the Gnostic gospels. There is a lack of uniformity in the doctrines of the New Age. The beliefs of New Agers vary from ‘group to group' and ‘person to person.' Thus, it is difficult to have a clear definition and a solid understanding of what the New Age really is. I believe this confusion has been created on purpose. It is very hard to pinpoint, identify and shoot the enemy when it is moving constantly, shape-shifting, or invisible. People entering these movements are generally concerned with having an experience, and not necessarily with finding the truth. Their actions are determined by feelings, not intellect. The emphasis is on “practicing and becoming god” and this is why meditation and many other techniques that teach “stillness of the mind” and a “receptive feeling mode” are promoted. We are told to “follow our bliss”, “go with the flow”, “let loose”, to “transcend the limitation of the mind,” and to “experience the pleasure and the ecstasy of the body”. Using your mind to discriminate and discern has become taboo. The principle of “spiritual vibration” is the belief that all things vibrate at some frequency. The ultimate goal of all New-Age practices is for humanity to vibrate at the same frequency so that we can all become one, spiritually and mentally. “We are all one”, this most repeated New-Age catch phrase, wants us to believe the unity of all things, heaven and earth, spirit and matter, the invisible and the visible worlds, the great melting pot of Darkness, Light, and everything in between. (WWG1WGA?) This “All is ONE”, “all is good”, “don't worry, be happy”, “don't judge” and “be in the moment” is a disastrous recipe that generates apathy and complacency. It is creating a generation of self-seeking, egotistical people who are indifferent to iniquity and the suffering of others. I have been a dedicated student of this school of thought and I have practiced being fully in my body, opening all “the inner channels” and feeling “the subtle currents”. I was proud of “feeling and being” but I was a total fool...! I had lost common sense and the ability to discern and discriminate good from evil. I didn't want to judge anything or anybody for the fear of being unloving, and spiritually not evolved. What a perfect brainwashing and a diabolical device to enslave, control people and turn them into powerless puppets! I was losing my God-given right to discriminate and I didn't realize that judging is necessary for preserving the integrity of my soul. I used to confuse judging with condemning, and I know this confusion had been fostered on purpose. Then I discovered I can judge a situation or someone without condemning and feel love and compassion toward all the parties involved. This was a very liberating and empowering realization. Of course, our human judgment is flawed and imperfect, but as we draw closer to God, we learn true Divine Justice. (And discernment)     Is Darkness Real and Is it a Sovereign Force? The beginning of the story starts with a question I have been asking myself over the years: “And what about God?” I often wonder how God is seeing me, seeing us, seeing the world. I often cry out to Him, asking, “Why, God? Why is there so much pain and suffering everywhere on this beautiful planet? Why is there so much injustice, poverty, and violence?” Do you have the feeling, as I and many others do, that something ominous is about to happen and that we are only seeing the beginning of a momentous transformation? It seems with each day, the world is spiraling down into greater chaos, deception, and destruction. I know a lot of us choose to look at the positive and ignore the increasingly rapid deterioration of our civilization, but refusing to see that anything serious is happening, denying that we, as a human race, are in deep trouble is not going to change it, resolve it, or make it go away. No, in fact, denying is not seeing, and if we don't see, we are blind and hopeless to change anything. Because of my willingness to honestly acknowledge and recognize the darkness pervading our world, I have been more readily able to recognize that this darkness is also within myself. I realized I can only change something in the world or within myself when I am fully aware of what is truly happening. I have heard many times people saying, “The dark only exists when you believe in it. If you believe in the devil, in darkness, you are giving it power, but if you focus on the light, the dark has no place to be.” I tried that belief on, wearing it for some time, but darkness was still there. This belief crippled my ability to discriminate evil from good. Is not believing in darkness preventing darkness from manifesting? Is the world such a paradise that there is no darkness to be seen anywhere? How can anyone believe this? The dark, of course, wants you to believe it is not there but even the most remote paradisiacal Pacific island has murder, theft, violence, greed, etc. In my twenties, I lived on Boraccai, a remote Philippine paradise island, for five months. I was living in a bamboo hut on the beach with no electricity, no running water or any modern amenities. Life was so gentle and simple, I felt surely, I had found the Garden of Eden. One morning, I heard that a man had been murdered the previous night. There had been some drinking and a knife fight broke out. I was deeply shaken to the core, as was most of the tiny population of the island. My innocent naivety that the world is a safe place was completely shattered. In that one moment I became aware of the pervading presence of the dark. “The light” is such a broad, impersonal concept when it is not mentioned as an attribute of God. In fact, many of us embrace the concept of “the light” standing all by itself as a sovereign, impersonal, beneficial force that is replacing the Name of God. Few people know the dark is quite capable and is a master at parading and appearing as the “light”. 2Co.11:13 For such men are false apostles, deceitful workers, fashioning themselves into apostles of Christ. 14 And no marvel; for even Satan fashioneth himself into an angel of light. 15 It is no great thing therefore if his ministers also fashion themselves as ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works. There is the assumption prevalent in New-Age circles that the light needs the presence of the dark to exist. We are told that within the fabric of the universe there is built in an eternal polarity that makes the light of God not being able to exist without the darkness of Lucifer. This is a clever but absurd concept invented, of course, by the dark to deceive people into accepting Lucifer as a legitimate, purposeful, and even beneficial force. The great paradox is this: that Lucifer is, indeed, purposeful, not as an independent sovereign entity but as a force that God uses for His own plan. The dark was created and is allowed to exist by God for His Sovereign purpose and actually needs God's approval and permission to continue to exist. On the other hand, God obviously exists outside of this fallen, polarized world and has no need whatsoever of anything or anybody outside of Himself. There is no darkness in the Kingdom of God, not even anything that remotely resembles darkness. 1 John 1:5 And this is the message which we have heard from him and announce unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all. If there is no darkness in the Kingdom of God, then surely this planet, which has been corrupted with darkness since the beginning of time, is not the Kingdom of God. Jesus confirmed that fact by saying: My kingdom is not of this world: John 18:36 Of course, this doesn't mean God is not present or is removed from His creation, but I wondered why God allows darkness to be here. Please be patient with me as I attempt to offer my understanding based on the fruit of my life experiences and the teachings found in the Bible.     The New-Age Movement For over thirty years I had been searching for God and the Truth while being completely lost in the great deception of the New Age. I was immersed in New-Age thinking, was an intimate part of its movement, and worked to promote its philosophy and belief system. I was brainwashed to blindly accept and embrace New-Age occult knowledge, and I was convinced my life of service and my spiritual studies were the highest expression of my love for God. I was sincere, as most New-Agers are, but I was also completely deceived and clueless. My study and knowledge of esoteric and ancient mysteries gave me a sense of belonging to the highest-evolved portion of humanity. Although I have always managed to retain some humility in my being, through a natural devotion to the Lord, I still had a typical new-age persona, a spiritual vanity, that vague illusion of having achieved a higher consciousness. This was constantly reinforced by countless readings, which I had received over the years from psychics, clairvoyants, mediums and channelers. I was repeatedly told how great, spiritual, and amazing I was and how I had come here on earth from the higher angelic realms to save lost mankind. I was a walking earth angel with a mission….!!! Of course, I knew everybody else was more or less told the same story, so I took all of it with a grain of salt as I was aware of the deception of ego-flattering, but I was hoping somehow I was special in the eyes of God. Little by little over the last few years, I came to realize through the grace of God's revelation, the many distorted truths and the outright evilness of the New-Age teachings. Because of my passionate nature, I had delved into this New-Age pool deeply and had many close encounters with renowned teachers and spiritual centers across North America. This first-hand, practical knowledge and in-depth study has given me a unique perspective to share with you, the discovery of a very shocking and disturbing truth. The Dark New Age of Aquarius is here right now, and those leading the way forward in this New Age are working hand-in-glove with the great and the powerful. Some of the wealthiest and influential men and women on our planet are openly identifying themselves with the New Age. From bankers, industrialists, politicians, celebrities, and religious leaders of all faiths, it seems everyone is going “New Age,” and they are bringing huge numbers of the population along with them. Darkness is a very powerful force at work over this world. It is a corporate entity made up of many individuals, and is described in the Bible as “the beast”. It is also the embodiment of one being who has been known by various names, including Thoth or Seth in Egypt, Manu in India, Hermes in Greece and Lucifer, the Devil, or Satan in the Judeo-Christian tradition. God is executing end-time Bible prophecy right this very day and He is allowing Lucifer to create the final end-time New World Order of the beast empire. One of the instruments for all this to come to pass is the New Age Movement, also called “The Plan” and what Freemasonry calls “The Great Work Of Ages”. (The QAnon movement has always said, “Trust the Plan.” Whose ‘Plan' are they referring to? Probably not God's plan, but the New Age plan and their AI computers.) This is Lucifer's rebellion and master plan in action against God. The day will come when all this camaraderie will melt away because they are looking down their snoots at us.) Its ultimate goal and plan is to introduce a One World Order and One World Religion. The UN is gradually becoming the center of this New World Religion, and the “house of peace” with its programs and policies is even more worthy of comparison to what some have called a modern-day “Tower of Babel”. All of my research and personal experiences during those years have led me to believe that Lucifer is very real and he is rising, or descending, depending on which way we look at it! He is here on earth, in this dimension, causing havoc and chaos in an attempt to seat himself on the throne of a World State, and to inaugurate a New Religion with himself as its sole deity. Dan.11:36 And he shall exalt himself and magnify himself above every God, and shall speak marvellous things against the God of gods, and shall prosper till the indignation be accomplished; for that which is determined shall be done. (Isa.14:13 And thou saidst in thy heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God; and I will sit upon the mount of congregation, in the uttermost parts of the north; There is a false belief among many today that Lucifer and Satan are the same but this is propagated by the New Ager's. “Lucifer and Satan are actually two different aspects of the same creature. Lucifer, meaning “the brilliant one, son of the morning” in Hebrew, was an angel beloved by God until his fall and after his rebellion, he became Satan. While there is a significant difference between the two, the terms today have unfortunately become synonymous with each other and with the devil.” Satan has been busily working through his false prophets and religious harlots to pollute true Christianity and also offer a fake moralizing replacement for it to the world so that no one has to repent of sin.     False Prophet and Religious Harlot Experience and the Word have taught me concerning prophecy that if the majority of God's people believe something, it must be wrong. God hides his truths in dreams or visions that are parables so that the false prophets and carnal Christians cannot understand them as in (Mat.13:10-13) but privately He explains them to His disciples. He hides truths from the wise and understanding of this apostate religious system and reveals them to babes according to Jesus in (Luk.10:21). He reveals His hidden truths to those who are faithful. Rev.2:17…To him that overcometh, to him will I give of the hidden manna…. John's Revelation was given to him as a parable from Jesus. If it were literal, the false prophets would know what is going to happen and that is contrary to Jesus' own words. When the disciples were young and under the Law they did not recognize the false prophets that ruled them. As a matter of fact, they respected them! And so it is today! I want to share with those of you who have eyes and ears who the false prophet is and what his work is. ...The false prophet is a corporate body of religious leaders that to the trained eye resemble those of Jesus' day. Since Jesus' day is a type of the coming Man-child reformers in our day, we know there are going to be false prophets, plural. In all of the New Testament writings, outside of the book of Revelation, we are warned that false prophets, plural, would come. In Revelation, false prophet, singular, is used, but in an allegory or parable to hide the corporate body. Since Jesus, Peter and John said that in the end time many false prophets shall arise, then the false prophet in Revelation is a symbol of a corporate body, like the rest of the characters there like the Woman, the Harlot, the Beast, etc., are corporate bodies. It's the only way that all verses concerning false prophets can be right. Mat.7:15 Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly are ravening wolves. Mat 24:11&24 And many false prophets shall arise, and shall lead many astray. (24) For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets… so as to lead astray, if possible, even the elect. So you see they are plural... They come to you with moralizing like the New Age but cannot live it at all because they don't know the Gospel that saves from sin, and nothing is sin to them. They are false because Jesus said, “To him that overcometh will I give authority” meaning, overcome sin. False prophets fit the type and shadow of history, according to Jesus. Luk.6:26. Woe [unto you], when all men shall speak well of you! for in the same manner did their fathers to the false prophets. Peter also said there would be false prophets among us. 2Pe.2:1 But there arose false prophets also among the people, as among you also there shall be false teachers …. John also said that many false prophets would speak for antichrist. 1Jo.4:1 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but prove the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets are gone out into the world. (3) And every spirit that confesseth not Jesus is not of God: and this is the [spirit] of the antichrist … Notice that every spirit is the antichrist. The New Age is one of these false prophets that confesses not Jesus as the only begotten Son of God and leader of His Church. Part of the “strong delusion” (KJV) taught by the false prophets is that we are to be looking for the coming of a man called the false prophet, while the Biblical corporate false prophet is here and in the pulpits already. 2Co.11:14 And no marvel; for even Satan fashioneth himself into an angel of light. (15) It is no great thing therefore if his ministers also fashion themselves as ministers of righteousness, whose end shall be according to their works. ...Most agree that the second beast in Revelation 13 is the false prophet. He is given authority by the first beast for the second stage of the last 3½ years of the Tribulation (Rev.13:5). He is identified as a beast because he is a corporate body, as is every other prophetic beast in the Scripture. Rev.13:11 And I saw another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like unto a lamb, and he spake as a dragon. (12) And he exerciseth all the authority of the first beast in his sight. And he maketh the earth and them that dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose death-stroke was healed. The beast that is coming into authority now is pointed to by the New Age. It is a one-world order with a covenant. Here we see that the false prophet masquerades as the lamb: “two horns like unto a lamb” but he speaks as the world and Satan: “and he spake as a dragon” (beast). This second beast in chapter 13 is also identified after the world beast in Revelation 16:13 as the false prophet. This impostor leadership for the harlot has “a form of godliness” (2Tim.3:5) but is carnal and can only teach a worldly corruption of the Word. They are actually a mouthpiece for the world beast in the apostate church. It was said of the world beast, (Rev.13:5) and there was given to him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies…. These apostates speak against (Greek: blasphemeo) God with their hypnotizing, ear-tickling doctrines of all-fly-away, unconditional eternal security, worldly prosperity, greasy grace, and anything but the self-crucifying truth. And 1000 years of peace that will be interrupted by the Tribulation that they do not believe in. The false prophet is a corporate body within the corporate body of the harlot, which is female because they receive the seed of antichrist. In verse 15, we see the female body of the false prophet. “And it was given to her (Greek) to give spirit (Greek) to the image of the beast.” Bible Numerics show a perfect pattern for “her” and “spirit” in the original Greek and in the most accurate New Testament, the Numeric English New Testament by Ivan Panin. There is no pattern in “he” or “it.” In Greek, breath and spirit are the same. Numerics show beyond a shadow of a doubt which words are correct here. In the rest of the text this false prophet is identified as male by the same numeric pattern. A translator would have had to respect the Word enough to ignore his own reasoning to simply translate what was there. Most are not willing to go out on a limb and look foolish when they do not see the reason. A male, who is also seen as female, is clear proof that God is not speaking of an individual here but a corporate body of people. In parallel, we are the male body of Christ, made in His image (2Cor.3:18), but we are female in another type (Eph.5:22-25), being married and submitted to Him to receive only His seed, His Word. Let's see this corporate false prophet and his relationship to the harlot in another parable. We know Ahab represents the ten-horned beast who was being ridden by Jezebel (1Ki.18), exactly as the harlot rode the beast in Revelation 17:1-3. They ruled over the apostate ten tribes, who were also those who worshiped the image of the beast, the golden calf. As the corporate mother of the harlot sects of Christianity, she leads them into the Great Tribulation and death unless they repent. Rev.2:20 … Jezebel … teacheth and seduceth my servants to commit fornication (with the world beast by receiving their seed)…. (21) And I gave her time that she should repent; and she willeth not to repent of her fornication. (22) Behold, I cast her into a bed, and them that commit adultery with her into great tribulation, except they repent of her works. (23) And I will kill her children with death; and all the churches shall know that I am he that searcheth the reins and hearts: and I will give unto each one of you according to your works. Like the harlot, Jezebel was guilty of the blood of the prophets and of the saints (1Ki.18:4; 2Ki.9:7; Rev.18:24). In Revelation 17:16 when the beast is through using the harlot he devours her, and so it was with Jezebel who was devoured by the dogs (1Ki.21:23), symbolizing the unbelievers (Mk.7:27) or the beast. The true ministers of God are fed at the Church's table (1Cor.9:13-14) and the false prophets are fed from the harlot's table. (1Ki.18:19)…The prophets of Baal four hundred and fifty, and the prophets of the Asherah four hundred, that eat at Jezebel's table. The two categories of false prophets represent the two horns of the false prophet in Revelation 13:11. Find out who Baal and Asherah represent in modern times and you will know who the corporate false prophet is. These two have their roots at the tower of Babel and were originally Nimrod and his wife Semiramis (Gen.10:8-10). They created the original harlot religion that spawned all the rest. They are a type of the great corporate mother of harlots of all of history. Rev.17:5 And upon her forehead a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF THE HARLOTS AND OF THE ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH. When Nimrod died and Semiramis (later called Asherah) became pregnant, she claimed that Nimrod had become the Sun God (later called Baal) who then by virgin birth was reborn as her son, Tammuz (Son of God). These original Babylonians worshiped the false father, son, and virgin about 2,300 years before the true virgin birth. Semiramis probably knew of the prophecy in Genesis 3:15 concerning the virgin birth seed of the woman and if she didn't, the devil did. With the confusion of languages and dispersion at Babel, this legend went throughout the world and these three were given different names in different cultures, many of which are in the Bible. The golden calf in Egypt was a symbol of the Father (Baal) in the Son. Remember Pharaoh's title meant “Great Temple of the Sun God.” Sun images all over the world and in Catholic and Eastern churches symbolize the false Son. The Israelites with their golden calf thought they were worshiping “YHWH” or “Elohim,” the true God, but it was Baal, “another Jesus.” One horn, the four hundred and fifty prophets of Baal, represent those who teach “another Jesus.” This is the apostate Protestant ministers. The other horn, the four hundred prophets of the Asherah, represent those who worship the virgin. These are the Catholic, Greek Orthodox, Russian Orthodox, Eastern Orthodox, and many others that are into “Mariolatry.” We know that Mary became saved and is our sister, and we love her but she is not the mother of God as Mariolatry teaches. (Rom.1:3) Concerning his Son, who was born of the seed of David according to the flesh, (Jesus' “flesh” was the “seed of David” through Mary, which was the promised seed of the woman in Genesis 3:15. Mary is the mother of Jesus' flesh which is the “Son of Man.”) (4) who was declared [to be] the Son of God with power, according to the spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead; [even] Jesus Christ our Lord. Jesus' “spirit” man was the “Son of God.” Jesus agreed with this saying in John 3:6, “That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit”. Some would say that the two horns are the apostate leaders of the Christian religion and the leaders of false religions. To this I agree. The same verses usually address both greater and lesser types. The greater type is the most complete fulfillment and all the Babylonish religions will be gathered together in the end-time harlot. The False Prophets and Religious Harlots spread from the confusion at Babel throughout the world, and now the Unitarian New Age is seeking to bring Babel back together in a new Catholic, meaning “universal” religion that doesn't rebuke their own sins, much less others. Read also: Aliens Demons Bow to Jesus' Name Note: If you are a Spirit Filled Christian the Lord was speaking to you when He said, “I give you authority over all the power of the enemy.” And “What you bind on earth is bound in heaven.” The Lord said that we can delay this invasion now but we cannot ultimately stop it for God has sent this delusion. 2Th 2:9 even he, whose coming is according to the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, 10 and with all deceit of unrighteousness for them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. 11 And for this cause God sendeth them a working of error, that they should believe a lie: 12 that they all might be judged who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.  “Satan, the deceiver of the whole world.”

I can tell you that, because I've spoken to this amazing guest before, and it was hard to keep it contained to 15 minutes. So I'm excited that we have a longer format for conversation today. Monique Rhodes, you know what, you had me at Happiness Strategist, so can you just tell everyone who you are and how you rock at that? Monique Rhodes 1:54  I love that. Lesley, I'm so happy to be here. Thank you for having our second date together. So basically, I specialize in teaching people how to master their happiness. And I've done this over the past, really, three decades, and it's all from personal experience. So everything that I teach is what I've done to turn my own life around. So I love it. I love helping people. One of my programs is in so many colleges and universities around the world. I work with a lot of corporations, and I teach thousands of people all over the world. So I love it, and I love being here to talk to you about exactly what you do so well, which is get people excited about their lives. Lesley Logan 1:59  Thank you so much. I mean, here's why I'm so attracted to this, because I think today's world, it's really hard to be happy in, as soon as you open up your phone, there are text messages from somebody who's trying to make sure you know that someone's having a crappy day somewhere. There's demands from all around us all of the time. And so sometimes I do wonder, is it even possible to be actually happy? If you are happy, do you feel guilty all the time because other people aren't happy? Like I have so many questions.Monique Rhodes 3:06  I love it. Look, it's a really interesting point. So your point is that everywhere we go, we've got all these things that are showing us, there's loads of reason to be miserable, and that's the way that the mind works. So the mind automatically latches onto the negativity. But I really believe that you can create a little bubble of influence. It's just your bubble. We hear about the circle of influence, but literally, live in your bubble of influence. You can't do anything about what is happening in the politics in the world. You can't do anything about the natural disasters that are happening around the world, but I tell you what you can do. You can walk down the street and you can see someone that you've never met and smile and say hi to them, or go to the cashier at the supermarket and say, wow, you look so beautiful today. Well, how's your day going? There are so many small ways that we can influence our lives that we don't even think about. We can sit every day and say to ourselves, what am I grateful for? I mean, I can sit here right in this moment and just say to myself, What am I grateful? I'm grateful that next to me there's a glass of water, because there are so many people in the world that don't even have access to fresh water. I'm so grateful that you and I get to meet here, and we get to have this conversation. Because of the advent of the Internet, we have the ability to meet this way. I'm so grateful that I woke up this morning and I'm not in a war zone, because so many people in the world are so when we start to think about it, when we start to look at it and see being alive is one of the most unbelievable miracles, and what we do is we get ourselves caught in this kind of they call it hedonic adaptation, where we actually miss it. We've got so much stuff that we have that brings us comfort and happiness that we don't even see it anymore. And so what our brain latches onto is the novelty. And the novelty is often the negative. Oh, that person's going through this or this is happening. Oh my God. Look at the news. Oh my God. So getting ourselves into a place where we see that the novelty is actually all around us all the time is a really powerful way to lift down happiness levels. Lesley Logan 5:24  Oh my gosh. Okay, so many little takeaways there. First of all, anytime someone reminds me about being grateful, I am reminded that judgment and gratitude can't live in the same space, and so it's just starting to be grateful. And I love that you brought up like I'm grateful for this water, like I'm grateful if I have windows right now, in this moment, it is raining, and I love sunshine, but I'm so grateful that it's raining, because I live in the desert and we haven't had rain in 225 days. You know, finding because it's so easy to go, oh no, it's raining. I can't take the dog like you can always find those. So I find that that gratitude just starts to uplift. But I do love how you talked about the bubble of influence, because I think you're correct. Like, we start to go, oh my gosh, all this bad stuff is happening, and I can't do anything. And how is this affecting me? And how you start to do that? But my mom is one of those people who, when we go out, she finds a way to compliment strangers, every stranger walking past them at a hotel. She's oh, my gosh, I love those pants on you. And I'm like, I was in the middle of a conversation. And she just does that and so naturally. But I think because so few people do that, how they can touch someone's life in a way that they feel so seen, and we don't know who they are and how that could affect the rest of the world if we each hit our bubble, I imagine that there's a domino effect, that it gets bigger and bigger together.Monique Rhodes 6:36  You know, when I was a kid, my best friend's mother was very, very beautiful. She was a model when she was younger, and whenever you walked in the door at her house, she would look at you, and she would say to you, darling, you look absolutely gorgeous. And I remember as a kid that didn't come from a very good background, I would just melt into that. And sometimes I would show up, literally, looking as though I just rolled out of bed, but I knew that deep inside of her, she saw me, or I believed that she saw me. It was such an incredible gift that she gave, and it's something that I really focus on is giving that gift back, because we know when someone says it, I ran into a woman the other day. I haven't seen for a year. I only met her briefly once, and she saw me and she said, You look fantastic. And I walked away and went, ah, look at that. I mean, how good does that feel? There was no payback in her for saying it. She just said it, and how beautiful it is when we're on the receiving end of it. So whatever it is that we want in our life, we have to give it. If we want more love in our life, we have to give it. If we want the joy and the beauty of life, we have to show each other what it is that's how we lift our happiness levels. Don't wait for everybody else to make the world better. You know, there's stuff going on. There will always be stuff going on in the world until the day we die. But it's not about what's happening. It's about how we're responding to it. And we can always see the light. We always can see the light. And Lesley, I'm not saying that we bypass stuff in the last few months. You know, two of my friends have died, and it's not like, oh, I go, whoa my friends have died, and I'm still really happy. I am still really well, and I grieve and I feel it, but I don't let it control me. I allow the grief or I allow the difficulties and the challenges to be there. But my resilience is really strong because I also, alongside it, allow myself, even when there are difficult things happening, to see the beauty of my life and the world at the same time.Lesley Logan 8:55  You know, I'm so glad you brought that up, and I want to get more into happiness with you. But what I fear people take away is that toxic positivity? I'm sure you've heard of it. I lived in LA for 15 years, and living four hours away and watching the city of my memories burn, you know? And there are people who are like, ready to go, but now they'll get to rebuild back better and all this stuff. It's like, yes, is it too? What is the difference between happiness and seeing what is possible and toxic positivity?Monique Rhodes 9:22  Well, I think there's something really interesting that it's absolutely vital that we understand, is that whatever emotions you suppress means that you're suppressing emotions across the spectrum. So if I'm someone who says, whoa, I'm just positive all the time, and I don't look at the negative stuff. You actually don't really feel good all the time. So it's really important for us to understand if we want to experience joy and happiness and wellness, we have to be comfortable with experiencing discomfort. I mean, that's it. Otherwise we're just bypassing the whole thing. So I'm a really big teacher of take all your emotions and experience them and feel them. You don't have to act out on them. If you feel angry, sit with the anger. But where is it in my body? So this is the key, Lesley, is that to not run with the story. If I'm angry, to sit and go, wow, this is really interesting. I'm going to look at my anger and to shut down that story that says because he did this, and da, da, da, da, to sit there and go, oh, this is anger in my body, and it's making my shoulders tight and it's making my stomach feel a little sick and it feels warm in my body, and I'm just going to sit and observe it that is allowing the emotion. I don't know if you've ever watched the very famous TED Talk by Jill Bolte Taylor called My Stroke of Insight. It's really phenomenal. So Jill Bolte Taylor was a neuroscientist, and she had a stroke, and she watched herself have the stroke. It's really extraordinary, really worth watching. But one of the things that she discovered was that an emotion has a 90-second shelf life. Any emotion has a 90-second shelf life. So this becomes really interesting, because what we can then understand is if I do feel anger, and I have anger come up and rise up, and there it is. If I'm able just to sit with it for 90 seconds and allow it and observe it and let the story go in 90 seconds, it's going to be over. What is the only thing that keeps it going is this. I'll give you an example. I'm driving to work, and some idiot in their Range Rover cuts me off, right? And all of a sudden I feel this rage because I've got a fright, and I'm like, oh my God, that idiot in his Range Rover. And then I'm driving along, and I'm thinking about it. I'm thinking about it. Then I get to work, and I walk in the door and I say, you'll never believe what happened. And all of that fear and anger is boiling up again in my body because my mind doesn't know the difference between the experience it's remembering and the experience it had. So those emotions are still exactly the same. And then my partner calls me, and I say to him, oh my God, you would not believe what happened, right? Instead, I could have the experience. Allow it to happen for 90 seconds. Feel the anger, feel the fear, calm myself down. Let it go. Let it go.Lesley Logan 12:38  Oh, what a different day you'd have. Your work day would start off in a different space. I'm loving this. I can see my husband and I just setting a timer for each other, like, oh, okay, here's 90 seconds are on the clock. I'll come back.Monique Rhodes 12:55  You're at 93 seconds. Shut it down. It's really interesting, because when you do this, Lesley, what you start to understand is that you go through your day so often feeding negativity, and you start telling stories. Oh, you wouldn't believe what happened to this person and all of that. So if we can actually learn to shut up and just be very mindful about our conversations and say, Well, I can have those conversations if they're constructively looking at how I can solve a challenge. But so much of our conversation is around this happened, and you wouldn't believe it, and that happened, and our brain is creating imagery inside itself and reliving these experiences. We literally create so much of our stress and anxiety for ourselves. It's not even happening out there. It's happening in here.Lesley Logan 13:53  And also the person who cut you off doesn't even remember doing it. They've moved on.Monique Rhodes 13:59  No, it's interesting. I have a really good strategy that I use, which is this, when something happens that I have a relatively strong emotional reaction to, I ask myself the question of sixes. I can't remember where I first heard this. It might have been Brené Brown that first spoke about it, but I say to myself, will this matter in six minutes, in six hours, in six days, in six weeks, in six months? If it's six months or more, I say to myself, I need to pay attention. If it's less than six months, I literally say to myself, let it go, if there's nothing that I can practically do to work with it, if it's nothing that needs to be solved, or maybe I've done something that was wrong and I need to look at that, that's fine. Then I go away, I take responsibility, whatever it is, and I do the work on myself and otherwise it is a let it go. Do not waste your energy on it.Lesley Logan 15:05  Mind blown. And I love this so much because so as a recovering perfectionist, I'm someone who like, some days when I make a mistake, I can let it go, and some days I almost keep playing it in my head over and over because I'm upset at myself for the mistake that I made, or not seeing that that could have happened or been taken a certain way. And so I replay it, and I replay and then I get angry about their responses, and I get angry that I'm angry, and I do the whole thing, but I can imagine if I had just run through like, is it gonna matter in six minutes? Matter in six days, six weeks, six months? I bet I probably would've get to most of it not mattering at six months, I bet you it wouldn't, and so then I would probably not have to suffer. I could probably enjoy the yoga class I was taking while I was running through all that in my head.Monique Rhodes 15:52  But I might even have an added bonus for you, Lesley, is that your perfectionism served a purpose. You learned when you were a child that if you were perfect, you received love for it. And so that is where this behavior comes from. I keep doing this because I learned as a child that if I was perfect, I had to be perfect to be loved. I call it the Love Contract. And so one of the most powerful things you can do in those moments is not only say, does this matter? No, it doesn't. I'm enough as I am, and to love yourself in that moment, in your imperfection, and to know that your being perfect is not a direct line to being loved. Does that makes sense? Lesley Logan 16:42  It makes so much sense. And I feel like every listener who is a perfectionist recovering, we attract a lot of them here is like, kind of mind blown, because I do think that their perfectionism is what's keeping them from being happy. I'm sure you have plenty to say on that. And I think that in their desire to not be a perfectionist, I don't think that they're approaching it, because I know I'm not with just saying I am, I'm worthy of love like I'm enough right now, I don't think that's how we're approaching it. I think people who are trying not to be perfect are judging how much they let their perfectionism get them for the day. So I feel that that is such a good takeaway to, one, appreciate what you did as a child, because it was a survival thing to feel loved. And we all need to feel loved, to grow and get to where we are, and then to not judge ourselves for that, but instead welcome and have gratitude for who we are today and that we are enough in the moment that we are. I think what a great action step people can take that changes the emotions in their body. Monique Rhodes 17:37  Yeah, and to know that everyone does it. So every single one of us has learned one powerful strategy to get loved, and it could be I'm going to really excel at school, or I'm going to take care of people. You know, there's so many ways that this particular thing plays out, so that every single one of us, not just perfectionists, all of us, have something that we learn as a child will elicit love for us, and it's a really powerful thing. And then to look at that and go, does this still work? Actually, being a perfectionist is causing me all sorts of problems. I want to do really well in my life, but I've got to understand it's not that I need to be perfect, it's that I need to be loved, and we all need to be loved. So then we've got to go to the root of the tree and see how can I be loved without relying on being perfect to get it? Lesley Logan 18:31  Oh, everyone, write that in your journal. That's the next thing. Okay, I feel like I got so excited about all the things you have to say. I'm just like, obsessed with how much you know on this. But how did you get here? Like, how did you get to be, you know, the expert in this area, what was the journey? Monique Rhodes 18:46  Yeah, well, one of the beautiful and painful things about this journey of it was mine, Lesley. So I grew up, I was adopted at 10 days old, and I grew up in a very, very difficult situation in my family life. There were lots of really, really bad things that happened. And when I was 19, I ended up in a hospital having tried to take my own life. And I remember sitting there and saying to myself, this is going to go one way or the other. Either I have to give up or I have to do everything to heal myself. But I didn't really know what healing myself meant, because I saw, it appeared that everybody else was really happy, and I seemed to be the one who was broken and struggling. So I made a deal with myself that I was going to do everything that I could to try and heal this and myself. So went on a mission, and a little bit like an Olympian would, I did everything I did every therapy under the sun. I tried every technique. I traveled all over the world, really looking and seeing myself, but trying all sorts of methodologies to see what I could find. And probably the most powerful thing that I learned that encompassed a lot of what I teach is that happiness is not outside of me. Of course, there's lots of wonderful things. You know, I'm sitting here looking out at the ocean. I live here in Costa Rica in the jungle, and it's awesome. But actually, what is happening in my mind is the dictator of whether I'm happy or whether I'm suffering. And that was such a light bulb moment for me. And so then the focus came on, okay, so if it is about my mind, then what can I do to train and tame and optimize my mind so that I can live a really happy life? And the end result is that sometimes I think I'm annoyingly happy, you know, and it's like, I can't actually believe that this kind of happiness that I experience is possible, but it is, and now I have the incredible honor of teaching other people how to do exactly the same thing. Because for me, there was no path. There was no one saying, you do this, this and this. And so for me now I'm able to create that path for other people so that they can change their lives as well. And that makes me even happier, you know, because that's one of the things about happiness, is when you're in service to others, you know, taking care of other people to some degree, not at the expense of yourself, but to some degree, is one of the things that adds to your happiness. So I don't know, I just have this really amazing, amazing life.Lesley Logan 21:24  Wow. I think so many people could look back at part of your story and then feel sorry, but also how much of that took for you to be where you are and to share that with all of us. You know what I mean? If you didn't have that hard of a life and you didn't have that experience, would you have had the drive to figure that out, you know?Monique Rhodes 21:42  And I would just be teaching a theory, I would just be saying, well, you can do this, whereas I can tell you with 100% certainty, because I've seen it with so many of my students, that what I did with myself is something that can be replicated. And so when you go from being in a hospital at 19 in absolute despair, to waking up every day excited about the day, feeling like, oh my God. Does it get better than this? I know that those two states are possible by working with my mind. That's it. Lesley Logan 22:18  I'm really obsessed with this because I find, like most of my day, I do things that make me feel good, the way I wake up in the morning. I'm really, I'm so intentional about my morning routines, I might drive people crazy when I travel, because I'm like, no, you can't walk with me. I have to go for my walk. I need the sunshine. I need to do these things. But I know that, like, those things that I do are actually helping me get into my mind, find the happiness, get present. I have ADHD, and also an Aquarian, so I'm just like, air sign in my head. So I like, need all this, and so I'm obsessed with the different things that you've talked about, because there's so many of these things we can do that are free. And out of all the people that I've interviewed, at some point, you're like, paying for something. And obviously you probably have amazing tools we could all buy, but also giving a compliment to someone doesn't cost you anything.Monique Rhodes 23:04  And also, that means that happiness is available to everybody. It's not something that is only available to people with loads of money, but the media teaches us that it is because it's always trying to get us to buy something. So the truth is, is that there is no difference between me and a beggar in the slums of India, where I've spent a lot of time. There's no difference. You know, I remember the first time I really started to realize that the story wasn't as simple as I thought was the first time that I went to Thailand. It was my first time in a third world country, and I remember going through these canals in Bangkok, and I remember seeing a guy, and he had four bamboo posts and a tarpaulin over the top. And I remember him sitting there with this big smile on his face, and he had a little bag of belongings beside him. I remember thinking, I think that's the happiest guy I've ever seen in my life. And I didn't get it. I was young, you know? I didn't get it because everything I'd been led to believe was money, success, fame, power, that's where happiness lay. But what we actually see is that so many of the people that have fame, success, money and power, are freaking miserable. They're some of the most miserable people. And yet, I've spent a lot of time in India. So I traveled through India for four years on a motorcycle as part of my journey by myself.Lesley Logan 24:30  That is so cool. Monique Rhodes 24:31  Right? And one of the things that I found was that, my God, the Indian people, some of the poorest people, so generous, so loving, so kind, would literally give you the shirt off their back, so much happier than the people in the West. I remember when I went to India, and the first time I came back and someone said to me, I don't think I could go to India. And I was like, why is that? And they said, because I couldn't handle the poverty. I said, you know, what I realized from living in India for so long is that the mental poverty of the West is way more painful than the physical poverty of places like India. We live with so much comfort, particularly in the United States, completely comfort-obsessed and the levels of stress, anxiety and depression are through the roof.Lesley Logan 25:24  Yeah. I mean, we go to Cambodia, we have a helm there, and I am always amazed by the smile on the faces of people who sleep on the floor, and the generosity, because they so want to show you their life, and the generosity of them feeding you with the food that they really can't afford to have, but also it would take away from their joy and their happiness to not do that. So it's very interesting thing, and it makes you go, I'm judging them, but they're actually happy. They're actually happy. And I'm the one who's so concerned and so worried about all these different things, and that's from the Western mentality of growing up. And I'm a Pilates instructor as well. And the amount of people that cannot handle discomfort in their body, they're like, oh, that really hurts my ankles. And I'm like, pain, like, we're gonna break them, or just uncomfortable. And it's most of the time it is just uncomfortable. And I'm like, so this is a workout, and we have to be uncomfortable to change the body, otherwise, you stay the way you were and you came here for something different. So, you know, I think it's really interesting how many of us cannot handle discomfort in so many different ways, not just in the way we travel, but the way we move our body, the way we want our day to go. We don't like when anything gets out of the way, because then it's going to affect things. But also, even if everything went perfectly. They're not happy anyways.Monique Rhodes 26:41  Think about the culture of the United States as an example. Right? Whenever I go to the States now I think about it. You have very comfortable cars. You have very comfortable wide roads. You have the comfort of going to all these shopping malls everywhere. You have the comfort of being able to order anything up to your house if you can't even be bothered walking out the door. You know the thing is, is that when you live in a third world country, like I live in Costa Rica, which is like a poorer country, and it's so beautiful, the other day, I was down at the beach and I got a flat tire, and I needed to go home and get something to change the tire. Because I do want you to know that I can change my own tire, even though I've got a big truck, because I live somewhere where you need four wheel drive. Anyway, I needed to go home, and I didn't have my phone with me because I was at the beach, and there was just this guy at the beach, and he had a little stand, and he just packed his stand up, got me in the car and drove me home. And I was like, I loved it. I loved it. Like it really put him out, and it was for no reason but the kindness. And what happens is that when we live in a world that doesn't have all of the comforts, people rely on each other more. When you get into a first world country, people are relying on each other less. They wake up in the morning in their little bubble, and then they get into their little bubble, and they drive to their little bubble, and they do their work in their little bubble, and then they go home and they watch TV for the rest of the day, you know? And it's like, actually, what we need is connection. We need community. We need belonging. We need to be with each other and interact with each other and get off our phones and actually see people, because that is what brings the nervous system down. That's what makes us well. So we kind of look at the West as this ideological state of, wow, look at all the stuff we've got, but all of it actually is taking away so much from the things that actually make us happy. Lesley Logan 28:41  It is, oh my gosh, it really is. As we're recording this, in two days, I get to go to Cambodia, and I'm so excited because I just needed to be too hot, too humid, and I need, I need to be freaked out a little bit about making a left hand turn into oncoming traffic, like I need. There's something about getting out of all the comfort that we have here to remind ourselves, what do I truly need anyways? And what I love about it is because there is so much less distraction. It's every sunrise and every sunset is beautiful. Every rooster that wakes you up is the coolest thing. The wedding that goes until three in the morning, you're like, who's getting married right now? Because you don't have these other distractions. There's something you can see the beauty in all of these things. And so I do think it's a challenge, though, because so many people are afraid of letting go of their comfort. I guess I'm wondering, do you have like, baby steps for getting uncomfortable?Monique Rhodes 29:36  I want to point out that the Pilates lady is more than likely uncomfortable in lots of ways. So she will avoid discomfort all over the place. She will not tell her husband that she's unhappy in her marriage. She will let her kid rule her rather than tell her kid off. There'll be a series of things that she does. It's really important we can handle discomfort. So one of the first things that I'm going to encourage people to do is to travel. Traveling is incredible, and I have traveled all over the world. And I'm going to say this just I'm going to tell you this truth for fun, I've slept in the slums in India, and I have spent weeks in a castle in Switzerland, and the truth is, is that it's all the same at the end of the day. There's nothing about the castle in Switzerland that was any better than the slums in India. So get yourself into places where you go somewhere like maybe go to Mexico or something. Don't stay at a fancy resort, stay at a little guest house. That's what I did through India for four years. I just stayed at little guest house like I literally lived on about $500 a month. That's what I lived on. Ate simply, lived simply because. Why? Because it made me strong. Made me stronger. If I can handle physical discomfort, I can handle emotional discomfort. So that's the first thing is to start to look and see maybe I can travel differently, or maybe I can think about, what are all the things that I have in my house that create comfort? What if tonight I sit on the floor, or what if tonight I give up something? You know, that's a really powerful thing, is to say to yourself, What could I give up for a week? Maybe I'm going to give up the dishwasher for a week, which, to me, is funny, because I don't have a dishwasher here. Maybe I could give up TV for a week. Maybe I could give up driving for a week. I don't know, choose something that's manageable, and give it up for a week, and then you start to appreciate it, because all of a sudden you don't have it. And that's a really powerful way so that when it comes back, you all of a sudden, are like, wow, I have this whole new appreciation for this thing, and to really make that correlation between discomfort and the ability to handle it equals strength. So you might even have a little journal for yourself where you say, every single day, I'm going to do something that makes me uncomfortable. I'm going to make that phone call that I don't want to make. I'm going to compliment someone in the street. Whatever it is, it's a muscle. It's literally, the muscle is courage and if you can build that muscle of courage, then you can handle any discomfort. You can literally put me anywhere with anybody, and I can handle it. And I know it from so many years of traveling solo around the world, but that wasn't just oh, it's just because it's who I am. It's because I've built the muscle of courage, and I consistently look for ways that I can flex it. If there's something that I'm afraid of, then I'll go, oh, here we go. Okay, I live in a country that has a lot of spiders, and I don't like spiders. I can actually handle a tarantula in my kitchen these days. I mean, how amazing is that? I don't even know how to, I don't know how to do that because it's just courage to tell a different story. It's all it is. That's it, Lesley, it's just a story. What story do I tell? Do I say to myself, I'm going to break my ankles in the Pilates class or do I say to myself, I'm strengthening them? Do I see someone in the street and think to myself, I'm too scared to tell them how beautiful they are? Or do I think to myself, this isn't about me. This person is going to feel amazing when they hear this. So, so much is the stories that we tell ourselves. You get to choose the story you tell yourself, but always flex that muscle of courage like your life depends on it, because it may.Lesley Logan 33:54  I mean, I feel like courage is to be happy, and this life is courageous because it goes against the grain of what everyone is telling us, we should be we should be suffering, we should want for more, we, we don't have enough. And what I'm hearing you say, because I was really excited about this conversation, because I do wonder, like, can you truly be happy? And is happiness like being in the clouds? Like, do you know what I mean? Like, you have to ignore everything just to be happy. And what I'm loving from you is it's actually being in it all. In fact, go being the thing that makes you scared or makes you nervous or feels uncomfortable, and what can you become grateful for? Because that's where you're going to become happy. Monique Rhodes 34:35  And also, think about it, Lesley, whenever you do something that you were afraid of and you managed to do it. There are very few better feelings in the whole world than that. So what the other side of fear there is often a feeling of incredible, sometimes exhilaration, but deep joy and happiness in yourself, because you start to see what am I capable of, and we're always so much more capable than we ever give ourselves credit for, or that anybody ever told us we were. Whenever I'm with my friends' kids, because I don't have kids myself, my sole goal is to show them that they are way more beautiful, wonderful, intelligent and capable, then they may see themselves at the moment. My only job is their honorary auntie. That's it. Is to show them possibility. Who's going to show you possibility? Well, you can show yourself possibility. Well, okay, so how do I do that? Well, every day, because this is the key is that happiness is a habit, so you've got to do habitual stuff. So every day you sit down, you set yourself a little challenge. You say to yourself, Okay, for 90 days, I'm going to sit down every morning, and I'm going to challenge myself to one, one thing. For 90 days. I'm going to do a courage challenge for 90 days. Discomfort courage challenge, or I might call it a possibility challenge. Okay, well, I'd like to learn how to change a tire. I'm like, oh, I'm going to do it. Go onto YouTube. So easy, right? If you don't know how to do it I'll make you a video, because I love changing tires because that's what you learn as a young New Zealander growing up, your dad always teaches you, so you never get yourself in trouble how to change the tire, right, or it might be, oh, there's something on my computer that I don't know how to do. You know that I'm struggling with. Okay. So learn it. Learn it. Move yourself out of this discomfort. So I'm often giving my students 90 day challenges. That's what I love doing. Give them a challenge for 90 days and say, let's work at this. I'm working with one of my students now who literally is working with discomfort so she can build that muscle. She's a friggin CEO of a company, big company, but she shies away from a lot of that discomfort and kind of manages things. So now it's who am I if I step into it, does it matter if I can't do it? Because that's the fear, because she's super capable. What if I can't do it? If I can't do it, I bypass it, I shy away. So now we're stepping her into 90 days of things that she can't do, and she is just loving it, because there's a whole other element of herself that's coming out and is so powerful. Imagine for 90 days doing every day, doing one little thing, one little thing. Tonight, I'm going to make a new recipe for dinner, or today I'm going to go to a different Pilates class, or I'm going to go a different way to work just those little things that take you out of your habitual comfort ways all of a sudden, without even realizing it, your confidence starts to grow because you're moving yourself in directions that you didn't actually realize. You didn't realize you were caught in a little box. Lesley Logan 37:59  Yeah, it's a muscle we all need. It's often what's keeping people like, we call this, be it till you see it. It's the confidence. And I'm like, well, how are you gonna get confidence unless you do the thing you know, like you're born with confidence. I don't think so. I think you could have parents or people around you who remind you that you're doing things that are hard and amazing, that you're confident. But I find that the things that I do that are not things I was trying to do. I do them scared, and I know a few things about myself. I don't quit. I will figure out an answer, and if I don't like it at the other side of it, then I don't have to keep doing it. But right? But like, I'm gonna give it a go. I'm gonna give it the best shot. And then you get a confidence in the area, and it covers you into other areas you feel like you're not going to be confident, because you have evidence that you can do things that are hard, you can do things that are scary, you can do things that are uncomfortable. And that's part of the happiness. You know? Monique Rhodes 38:49  But there's a payoff to it. It's really interesting because before I started teaching this, I was a singer, and I toured all over the world. When you go out on stage, and I've been on stage where the, you know, there's been 10,000 people and just me and my guitar. You go out on the stage and you've got two choices, and it's a hard choice. One, I can do a really good, solid set. I can do a good, solid set where I know all the notes that I'm going to sing and it's going to be safe, and that's what life is like. You can go through your life and you can say, I'm going to do a really solid set with my life. It's not going to be amazing, it's going to be good, but I might feel a bit meh, it's going to be good. Or you can go out on that stage and you can say to yourself, I'm going to go for it. I am going to go for the phenomenal, for the extraordinary, which is what I chose. I said to myself, when I got out of that hospital, I said, I want an extraordinary life. That's what I wanted, and that is what I've had, and that is what I live and I have to be comfortable with falling flat on my face. I have to be and the truth is, is that the weird thing is, is that I so rarely do. That's the weird thing, is that it's the times that I fall down are so much less than I ever would have I would have thought it'd be 50-50, it's not. It's probably about 1% of the time that I've flat on my face. And I'm really comfortable with it. I'm really good with it. Because the payoff is, is that I'm hitting the high notes. I am hitting the high notes, and I'm having this life that is awesome and fascinating and interesting, and I thrive in it. And so we've got to understand that it's a choice. So we've got to get comfortable with discomfort so that we can go for the high notes. If we're not comfortable with discomfort, we're always going to shy away and go for the comfort.Lesley Logan 40:40  Oh yeah, Monique, I could talk to you for hours, but I've learned so much. I'm reminded of things that I've always wanted to do, or I used to do, and I feel like this is just such a solid, I feel like everyone's getting something from this. Let me take time where I'm not running away from me. And I think that's one of the most powerful things, because the more you get to know you, and I know sometimes we think, by get to know me, I'll be afraid of me, but you won't be and to really just every day, take a little bit, take three minutes and just sit quietly or learn a meditation practice, just to get to know you. If you do that, it will change your life. I know myself so well. I have gone from being my own worst enemy, almost critic to being my own biggest cheerleader. So I don't actually need anybody else to bump me up or keep me going or help me like within myself, I'm able to, don't get me wrong, I've got amazing friends, and I love them, and there are times I need to discuss things, but day to day, I've got it all here because I'm my cheerleader. I'm the one that knows me best, and I'm the one that can help me along the path. And I think it's a really, really important thing for each of us to understand. Don't fall into all the distractions of the world. They're literally taking over your mind. Take your mind back. Take your power back. He is now setting the stage to be able to do exactly that—next time protestors take to the streets.Then there's Venus stationing retrograde March 1 through April 12, when Venus will move back from Aries into Pisces. This is a period during which--according to Jungian astrologer Erin Sullivan in her book “Retrograde Planets”--we begin a time of global review. Between now and the inferior conjunction of the Aries Sun with Venus retrograde on March 22, & its heliacal rising March 28/29, is when “the reconsideration of what is diplomatic, & what is necessary to maintain a balanced world view & sense of integrity, is precisely what happens” to us both individually & collectively, Sullivan says. Balsamic Aquarius Moon  The Aquarius Moon sends out vibes of something ending.  Of course that is what a balsamic Moon does, but today there is the added individuality of Aquarius that stands for the unique, nonconformity found in the early degrees of this sign.   The planet Pluto is presently in this area, evolving typical Aquarian behavior.  Our media displays some of it showing up in our politicians as they look at things differently.  Aquarius can forewarn us of changes coming, no matter how or in what area of life.  Our sensitivity to what personally matters is heightened.  This can push panic buttons in some of us.  So remember that this sign highly values friends and supports networking!

Protest what? That the ”pie in the sky” visions of the ideological fundamentalists begun earlier this month now in charge of the U.S. Government have caused both individuals--and groups of people—actual harm through loss (Pisces Sun.) Now, as we approach next week's Mars station retrograde in Cancer on February 23 & Mars begins to gather speed—in combination with this past month's Aquarian awakening--we begin to realize that this retrograde period brought up from our unconscious what's really most important to us on a deeper soul level. AND that THIS is what's rousing us out of our apathy to fight back against. As we begin to identify with our “inner warrior” we'll experience the Pisces New Moon on February 27 with its waxing square to Jupiter & its pending trines to Mars, which the Sun completes on March 2 & 7, respectively. They kind of feel comfortable, but retrograde, R-E, they say, anything you can redo, redefine, recreate, redecorate, put a re in front of it. Let's get started.Lesley Logan 0:57  Welcome back to the Be It Till You See It interview recap where my co host in life, Brad and I are going to dig into the validating convo I had with Mary and Kate Swick in our last episode. If you haven't yet listened to that one, you need to make time for that episode and maybe listen to it twice. I think Brad listened to it three times. Brad Crowell 0:57  Two and a half times. Lesley Logan 1:02  Two and a half times. So holy freaking moly, there's a lot of information. Grab your notebook, maybe even look at the transcript of it, because you can go to your sun sign, or Mary and Kate often talk about your rising sign, and you can just like, copy and paste what they're saying, because they gave a lot of information. But before we get into that, today is January 2nd 2025 and it's National Personal Trainer Day. And because I'm a Pilates instructor, I think we just need a Pilates instructor, yoga instructor. It's your national whoever is (inaudible)Brad Crowell 1:49  We're gonna, we're gonna adjust it from personal trainer to fitness trainer. Lesley Logan 1:53  Yeah, whoever is your personal person taking care of you, and OPC can be that person for you. So we're gonna celebrate me. To be honest, I think they really phoned it in when they came up with holidays for January 2nd. Brad Crowell 2:07  Yeah, right. Lesley Logan 2:08  Really went through, and this is the best one that didn't have, like, motivate yourself, go do the thing, like, that language is no longer allowed here. So National Personal Trainer Day is an annual day of observance on January 2nd when many people start working toward their new year fitness resolutions. Just so you know, we are not saying that you need to do that. Personal Trainers guide, motivate, and train you to exercise correctly. Yes they do. Brad Crowell 2:30  Yes they do. Lesley Logan 2:30  Yes they do. Without them, many injuries can happen due to bad former incorrect use of the equipment. So they are vital, often overlooked part of society. Personal Trainers should get the credit they deserve for the great work that they do. Yes. Brad Crowell 2:41  Yes, they should. Lesley Logan 2:42  I should. And also, at OPC, we don't do, like, one-on-one stuff anymore. We do provide feedback on your form just by submitting (inaudible)Brad Crowell 2:51  Did we ever? Lesley Logan 2:52  No, we never did. But I did. Okay, so we're not even home yet, so just so you know, we're. Brad Crowell 3:09  We're a solid week away from being home. Lesley Logan 3:11  We're like definitely somewhere in the Panhandle right now but we're gonna come home at some point, and then we're gonna head to Cambodia.Brad Crowell 3:11  I think we're at Pensacola, probably on the way to New Orleans. Lesley Logan 3:21  We're definitely doing a class in Pensacola, and tomorrow is a class in New Orleans. Yes. New Orleans is sold out, so don't even try. At this point. Brad Crowell 3:29  Pensacola, I think, has a couple left in the class. Lesley Logan 3:32  At the time we're recording this, the class had some spots. Austin has some spots in the workshops. All right. Lesley Logan 9:31  Before we talk about Mary and Kate, we have a lot to get into, because we do have an audience question. Brad Crowell 9:35  Yes, we do. Okay. Lisa Hansen 6014 from YouTube says hey, in the shoulder bridge exercise, difference in pointing and flexing.Lesley Logan 9:45  Okay. Brad Crowell 9:45  I don't even know (inaudible) to myself. Lesley Logan 9:48  So, don't worry, means nothing to a lot of people. So in the shoulder exercise on the mat, you actually point the foot up when you kick the leg up. Brad Crowell 9:56  Oh, I know exactly. Lesley Logan 9:57  Yes, I know you do. Brad Crowell 9:58  But you go up pointed and down flex? Lesley Logan 10:00  Yeah, do you remember why?Brad Crowell 10:02  Oh snap. Uh, well, probably about this stretch that creates when you do it. Lesley Logan 10:06  Great job. Brad Crowell 10:07  Hey, nailed it. Lesley Logan 10:08  So, okay, so, so in Pilates. Brad Crowell 10:11  Sorry, Lisa. Lesley Logan 10:11  Yeah. So Lisa asked this, and also her further questions that came from this was like, well, my foot cramps when I point it. So, yeah, here's the deal, in Pilates, when you point it is actually to help you get length in the front of your leg, because the hip flexor is going to want to try to jump in there. And when you flex, is to help you have more access on the way down, to help people have more access to the hamstring and glute, allows you to push into something when you flex with the roll up and you push your heels down, it gets you more access to those hamstrings and glutes. Why? Because you need them to turn on so you don't overuse your hip flexors. Brad Crowell 10:42  Yeah, so that's actually why. Lesley Logan 10:44  Yeah, in sidekicks, when you turn the leg out and you point it up, you flex it down. Why do that? You point it up, so your hip flexor doesn't try to lift the leg, and you flex it down so you can get more gluten hamstring. So pointing and flexing in Pilates is not choreography. It is about the connection. Now, when you're new to exercises and Pilates, it will feel like you're learning choreography. That's fine. But then there is a point to it. Brad Crowell 11:07  There is a method to do with the madness. Lesley Logan 11:09  Yes, and then, just to follow up, if you are someone who's foot or feet cramp when you're pointing them, it tells me you are over using your foot, and the point and flex is happening from the ankle down and not from the butt down. And so what I would just say is. Brad Crowell 11:25  Say that one more time. Lesley Logan 11:26  When you point your foot if it's cramping, there's a lot of reasons why muscles cramp. You could be lacking magnesium, electrolyte. You could be dehydrated, the muscles could be tired. But specifically in Pilates, if a foot is cramping when it's pointed in shoulder ridge, for example, she's got one foot on the ground, not cramping, one foot and they are cramping. It tells me that she's over using the foot. Brad Crowell 11:50  Okay, that's what I just wanted you to say one more time. So yeah, she's doing what? Lesley Logan 11:54  Over-using the foot muscle. She's working from the ankle down. Brad Crowell 11:57  Yeah, that's what I was unclear of. Lesley Logan 11:58  You need to, so your foot is not its own thing. Your foot is part of your butt. So you want to think about that point and flex going from up and down the chain up and down the whole leg. It's not choreography. It's part of like your whole body. And so when you're new, it's going to be just the ankle, but as you advance and the more she uses her butt, the lesser foot will cramp. There's an exercise on the Cadillac called shoulder roll down. If your feet cramp in that exercise, 100% you're not using your butt. 100% of the time when you access your ass, your feet stop cramping. Brad Crowell 12:06  And you're fast. Lesley Logan 12:35  Yes. Brad Crowell 12:35  Oh yeah. Well, great answer. Lesley Logan 12:38  And also, Lisa became an OPC member because of all these questions. Brad Crowell 12:42  Hey, Lisa, welcome to the club. Lesley Logan 12:43  And now I asked her, I said, send me a video of you doing this exercise so I could actually see what's going on. So we'll be right back. Brad Crowell 13:16  Welcome back all right. Now let's talk about Mary and Kate Swick. Kate and Mary Swick are the hosts of Mom, Me and Astrology, where they bring together traditional and modern astrological insights. So Kate was like, around, around this whole world. Lesley Logan 14:12  Before the internet and email, like someone would call and Mary would be out, and there's no answering machines, right? So Kate's like, writing down, okay, yes, the North Node thing you said came true.Brad Crowell 14:23  Yeah, the second month, moon's sun did a back flip. And, yeah, I don't know anything about things clearly, Kate, obviously, grew up with all of this and. Lesley Logan 14:32  If any of the things sounded overwhelming, what I have decided since I've met them and we've known them now three years, maybe four years, is that just the more you listen to the terms, the less, the more familiar they become, the less it's like learning a new language. The less overwhelming it is, and the more you study it in yourself, the easier it is for you to understand other things. And I have to be honest, like, the more chaotic the world is, the more I'm like, hold on, what's going on in the moons, let me see, because. Brad Crowell 15:02  I haven't wrapped my head around houses yet, but I've got, like, sun, moon, I'm starting to understand that. But then there's, like, the planets and the degrees. I don't know anything about that.Lesley Logan 15:11  I'm excited because I picked up a journal for this year. And every day, there's a way for me to put an entry. It tells me what's going on with the moons, and it tells me what's going on with like, different things, and it's a way for me to practice you have to look at your own chart, and I had stickers to put what things are in which house and what degree. And so I feel like just every day I get to spend a little time journaling in this area. Again, what's gonna go to what I loved astrology is what Mary said. Astrology is very validating. It's not as much predictive as it is a green or yellow light saying go or slow down or pause. And you can use it as a valuable tool to help you see things you might not have noticed about yourself, or some things like, why do I do that? Like, why am I doing that? Sometimes I find myself going, why do I do that? And then I hear from my chart, like, this is the way you do that, you're like, oh, so that's just like, kind of who I am. So I just need to be aware that that's something that I tend to do, and something else that'll come up. We had them read my chart and your chart, and something that came up is that I'm someone who requires a lot of downtime. And I have noticed in the last year, I require a lot of downtime, like I just do after tours, after things like, I just, I need to lay down on the ground. And I used to think, oh, is there something wrong with my health or something wrong I need? And so going back to the validation of it, no. In the chart that I have, it literally says lay the fuck down, take time for yourself. So I really like that. And she's like, it's like having a friend who can give you an opinion or show you something that to you that you didn't see yourself. And I also think that's really cool. We had them read our chart. And there's a lot of things that are like moving around, that are going on. And every time I show someone my chart, who knows astrology, the things they go, Oh, wow, you need to stock up on your learning. You've got a lot going on over here. And I'm like, what is it? What do I need to learn? But it's not predictive, right? So we can't tell them what I need to learn. But I really enjoyed, in summary, what I, we are in a transition of something going on in our business right now. And what was validating about this is because we're at the end of the seven years, and so there are a lot of things transitioning, because that's how things are working in my chart is a seven year change, and what I need to be doing, what I need to be focusing on. And some things have already, the energy's already started in there. And I was like, oh, this is really validating. And then there was some things that she said. Was like, hey, you go look out for this. Not a beware, but a be aware. And I was just like, oh, that is really good information. The other thing that I'm glad that they said is you might want to not just rethink collaborations, but also check in with new partnerships. Check out new things. There might be someone who is famous or doing this x thing that you can actually like work with. And also there's just some really good stuff, you guys. It basically just says, I'm coming into like, the more authentic I can be, the better it is going to be for me, the more that I can manifest, the better that's going to be for me. And so what was so cool about that is, I've been thinking I need to be spending more time manifesting what I actually want, because that's just something I'm being called to do, and to hear in my chart that it's like, yeah, you're in a manifestation place. Go do that. It really helps put the green light on something I'm intrigued by. And I find that to be really cool, because it doesn't feel like this random hobby or this distraction. It feels like a direction. I have a lot of new beginnings coming up. Is that what? That's what they said. Did you hear that in my chart? Brad Crowell 18:29  I mean, you and me both. I'll get into that in just a minute. Okay, first off, one move Brad over here, this has always been interesting to me. Intriguing to me after having my chart read, I've met Kate multiple times, and her partner, Mike, but I have not met Mary. I've not met mom in person, I don't believe, but I have listened to them for a long time. Lesley Logan 18:50  I know you, you download their podcast. You listen to it.Brad Crowell 18:52  I do. I actually listen to their pod. And the reason is because, first off, I know you're very interested in it, and I just wanted to kind of start to wrap my head around the language of it, and kind of it, and kind of, yeah, I don't really understand it all, all the time, but it's fun. They're very sweet and they're it's easy to listen to. It's not that long, you know, it's pretty informative. It's also not doom and gloom. I don't know. I always imagine movies from the 90s where someone, like, bases their entire life off of, like, a one paragraph astrological reading in the local newspapers some bullshit, and then they go change their world for the better or the worse. That's kind of just the understanding I had of astrology, but listening to them talk about it, it's really kind of changed my understanding of it, so in a good way. So anyway, we did decide to do our charts with them, and that was also incredibly revealing to me, since I know me better than anybody, right? But before I get into my chart, Kate actually said, hey, the context here not to blame astrology, but just to understand. She explained that when you go through hard things, you can say, oh, here comes Pluto again, rearing its ugly head, right? And not in a sense of you have no agency, but it gives it sheds clarity onto things that might be happening in your life, or why you might be responding in a specific way, and you might be looking at yourself going, why did I do that? And that doesn't mean that you're off the hook. There's blame astrology. That's not what that is, but it does give you visibility into certain things. So it may be also a reminder that some of these things are temporary, because things are shifting and changing. Lesley Logan 20:19  Yeah, some planets move really fast. Some move really slow. And another example, because some people might not really be familiar with Pluto, although, my God, I've been so fucking aware of Pluto and Aquarius, but I'm very involved. So a lot of people like to blame Mercury in retrograde. It happens.Brad Crowell 20:35  Mercury's in retrograde. I've heart that a billion times.Lesley Logan 20:37  It happens multiple times a year, which is why you hear it a billion times. And the thing that I love from Mary and Kate is that they've actually really helped me re evaluate what mercury in retrograde is. First of all, I was born under a Mercury in retrograde, so they don't actually affect me as much. They kind of feel comfortable, but retrograde, R-E, they say anything you can redo, redefine, recreate, redecorate, put a re in front of it. And so to go back, don't blame astrology, but understand what's going on and then you can work with it, which is kind of cool, because, like, you said, no agency can go, okay, hold on, we are in a retrograde. So yesterday, I was trying to move these files. I tried two times it didn't freaking work. And I could have gotten mad or upset, because, like, I get frustrated when technology doesn't work for me, when it worked, like, literally an hour ago, and I was just like, you know what? Yeah, I'm just like, You know what, it's retrograde. I'm just gonna leave that there. I texted the team. I'm like, do you see these files? Because I tried two times and I don't see them there, but maybe I can't see them, and they're like, we don't have them. And I was like, we have to redo it tomorrow. I'm not gonna get angry about I'm just gonna redo it tomorrow. And I was like, ooh, retrograde. Brad Crowell 21:39  Yeah, Astrology can validate what you're feeling. We didn't talk about Pluto yet, but we're gonna get into that in just a minute. So Kate also said, astrology is not there to tell you that you're being punished. That's not the goal of it. It's, you know, it can help validate what you're feeling. It doesn't take away the emotion of what you're going through, but it can provide a sense of purpose. You know, what you're going through and dealing with is exactly what you are supposed to be dealing with. She said, It's all part a much larger plan and a much larger cycle, right? For example, we were talking about Pluto, we were talking about mercury, but we weren't comparing it to Pluto just yet. Mercury in retrograde happens three times a year. Pluto, it's like a 20-year cycle, right? And so what was really interesting is when they read my chart, and it was the two of them talking back and forth to each other for about 30 minutes.Lesley Logan 22:26  Okay, I'm so curious, what happened to it 22? I really wanted to go back and go because (inaudible).Brad Crowell 22:31  I'll tell you what happened, in fact. So here's what's crazy. They basically said hey, Brad, and this was Mary, mom. She said, to be honest, I wish you were here in front of me so that we could meet you face to face, because you have a very intriguing chart. She said, I don't think I've read this many, very many charts over my career, 35 years doing this, very many charts where there were three moons, there are three planets at a zero degree, zero degrees. Now that doesn't mean anything to me. I have no idea what that actually means, but they were very intrigued by this, because I was born under a new moon on a specific day in a specific place, and whatever the degrees of all the planets (inaudible). Lesley Logan 23:07  And you have three planets at zero, which means it's like a new beginning. But also you could kind of be either the old other sign, or this sign.Brad Crowell 23:14  I could be a chameleon. Lesley Logan 23:15  Yes, it's really quite crazy. They also said that when you go to a new place, you don't stand out as a tourist. You kind of just are that. And it was, I'm like, yeah.Brad Crowell 23:23  Are you going to let me talk about how excited I am about the chart, yeah. So, all right, so, so basically, they began to describe me, and Mary doesn't know me. Kate knows me. She actually was using some references of my life, of our life, that she's aware of, but Mary doesn't know those references. Doesn't know me. And yet she was looking at when I was born and where I was born, and she was describing why I did things I did in high school, which was fascinating to me, because she talked about, you were talking about being a chameleon. When I was in high school, I used to literally blend into all the different crowds. I hated the Goths versus the preps versus the jocks. I just thought it was the stupidest thing. So I would wear different clothes every single day, as if I was part of a different clique, a different crew, and I had friends in all these different clubs, or what a social hierarchies, or whatever the it was high school. And for me, I did it in a cynical way, because I thought it was bullshit. So I was like, Well, I'm gonna break the rules and I'm gonna be part of everything. But how funny to hear them talk about how I can do that kind of a thing. And I was doing that when I was, like, 16. It was really interesting to hear them talk about how I'm probably very intrigued about travel and about understanding the world and about different cultures and all that stuff. And that could not be more spot on. That is literally my driving purpose in literally life. I always say travel is my drug of choice. Brad Crowell 23:24  Yeah, yeah. And we and they also said next year is a lot of travel, and it freaking does. You were trying to squeeze a (inaudible) trip in a really crazy time, and I'm like, can we squeeze it into this quarter? Can we do that?Brad Crowell 24:59  I have more coming that she doesn't know about. Lesley Logan 25:00  I know, but I also really loved that they brought up. So something about Brad. He's Oh, yeah, let's just go. Let's go to this thing. And I'm like, Okay, I'll go. And then he's like, oh, you know, while we're over here, let's go to this thing. And I'm like, that was not on the plan. And we gotta drop off these three things if we're 12 o'clock at the FedEx and it's, what are you talking about? I thought we were just going to get lunch, and now you're adding three things. And they freaking brought that up in the chart. I swear to God. I mean, I know it's not psychic, but it's definitely validating. And again, yes, Kate has met you several times. We've hung out, we've gone to dinner, but not like, we're like, every quarter.Lesley Logan 25:01  No, maybe once a year over the past three or four years. Lesley Logan 25:39  Yeah, we have to send Mary a picture of you like I think she (inaudible).Brad Crowell 25:43  I feel it. I'm sure Kate pulled up a photo us. It was really just interesting. I lean towards an addictive personality, where, when I commit to something, I go 1000% in on that thing. I love to travel. I'm really good at showing a front and not sharing what's behind, right? So that's also the way I always thought about it is, that's how I was raised. No one ever sees what's actually going on behind the curtain. Maybe that's also just how I am. My interest in language education, my inclination towards technical stuff, you know, just fascinating to me. And then what we never actually circle back around to, and I want to finish with here before we move on, is Pluto. They said that somehow, I don't really understand it, but Pluto is affecting 10 of the planets in my chart, and that cycle, that 20-year cycle, is concluding right now, and next year is going to be a very interesting transitional time for me. Lesley Logan 26:40  I have to look at your chart. It sounds like maybe a 10-year plan must have been like, in Capricorn or something like that. Brad Crowell 26:44  I have a Capricorn rising. And I never even knew that. I was like, I don't know. Lesley Logan 26:48  Yeah, no, you have Capricorn rising. I have Gemini rising. We gotta look at what your moon is. But, yeah.Brad Crowell 26:52  This was really interesting that they were talking about some of the things that they were forecasting for me for next year during this transition period. I've already been doing them literally this past year. I can't remember the specifics now, but there was like, three or four things where I was like, oh, that's already started. I've already started to shift out of some of the roles that I've held in the company for a really long time. I've already started to make decisions on what I want to be doing in the company. And this kind of started six, eight months ago. So it's just funny that there's stuff going on in my world that they had no idea yet they were talking about it as if they did. Lesley Logan 27:26  They gave me some specific dates. I'm not gonna lie. I'm aiming for one of those to be the accessories launch card date, because, like, this is a great day to launch something. I think so too. Obviously, this is not a commercial for Mary and Kate, but what I hope is it's an awareness of take a look at these things, because it can feel like your world is uncertain and chaotic, and maybe it is chaotic. Brad Crowell 27:46  I mean, especially politically now. When the day this comes out, we're 18 days away from a transition in the president's office. Oh, and that's, you know, a lot of uncertainty starting at the end of this month.Lesley Logan 27:56  It's weighing on me. Well, also, like, I had a call today with someone I was like, so do we think that there's going to be a war where we're going at that time, because this is the weirdest thing, that because we travel so much for work, we have to pay attention politically, what's happening in the world like it, it affects us on an actual economical level, like it affects us on our work and affects the safety wise. And she said, well, then we'll cross that bridge when we come to it. I said okay, we're gonna act as a be it until you see it. Here we go. You know. And so having an understanding of this, again, it's not a psychic thing. It can actually just validate. Oh, I do feel like everything is in transition right now, and I have all this stuff happening in my houses. So it is. So it makes you feel to me less crazy, and oh, I'm on the right path, or I can work with this. And so at the very least, you should listen to their podcast. And the episode, we had to talk about Pluto. We went through every single because we're talking to you like, as if you listen to it. We went through every single sun sign, which is a sign that you are born like the birth date, the one that like you. Brad Crowell 28:53  The one that you probably know. Lesley Logan 28:54  You probably know (inaudible) because it's on the magazines and everything. Oh, this your sun sign. Brad Crowell 28:58  Cancer, Capricorn, Aquarious.Lesley Logan 28:59  Yeah, based on your birth date. So you don't have to know the time or location you're born. You can just know your sun sign. We did that for both Pluto and Uranus. So I would just say, like, dabble in it. You can at least listen to the podcast, their podcast, and start to.Brad Crowell 29:15  Yeah, Mom and Me Astrology. Lesley Logan 29:16  Yeah, yeah. Because just to finish Brad's little point here, it's all part of a much bigger and larger cycle and plan. Brad Crowell 29:23  Yeah, stick around, because we're gonna get (inaudible) be it, if we certainly do, we're gonna get into those, Be It Action Items that they laid out for us on the pod. So finally, let's talk about those Be It Action Items, what bold, executable, intrinsic or targeted action items can we take away from your convo with Mary and Kate Swick? I'm gonna jump in first here. I am cancer sun sign. So I was born under that cancer. Will be handed power, but may feel uncomfortable managing it or forming alliances. Cancer may hold taboo or secrets needed to navigate private matters carefully, interesting, because what we see happening next year is growth with the company and my entire shift, my entire goal, has been for us to grow OPC and begin to rub elbows with some other companies so that we can partner with them for marketing efforts and growth efforts and collaboration and all this stuff, but not on a local level, now on a national level, and eventually on an international level, would be our grandiose goal. So I just find it really interesting that may put me in an uncomfortable situation which I get that I could see how that I could be in a room with people who are running a conglomerate, and it might make me feel like imposter syndrome, or whatever it might be. Lesley Logan 30:41  And knowing that is helpful, because then you go, Okay, I'm gonna feel this way, but I'm supposed to be here. I've been handed this power, and so I'm gonna be uncomfortable. It doesn't mean I can't do use this to my advantage. Brad Crowell 30:51  Well actually, so the cancers may hold taboo or secrets really well when navigating private matters. So you know, if you're maybe a therapist, or you've got someone going through something, what I find really interesting is the environments that I came from were prone to secrecy, because there was a lot of controversy in the work environment that I used to work in, right? And I already feel like prepared for this kind of a thing. There's definitely intimacy being heightened coming up, and then cancers are encouraged to prioritize therapeutic services because of it. And there's a couple of action steps here. It's time to reflect on my needs in relationships, and not just intimate relationships, but just relationships in general, and then also explore what fulfills me emotionally and physically. Therapeutic services will help me process and escape into healing activities like mental health walks or yoga, which is interesting because I I totally was driven to that before, when my life was incredibly stressful 10 years ago. I'm excited to see some of that stuff coming back around, and I'm excited to embrace it so very interesting.Lesley Logan 31:56  And if you are not a Cancer or an Aquarius, because I'm going to go into mine and you're like, but I'm another sign, we talked about it in the other episode. Brad Crowell 32:04  We did talk about it.Lesley Logan 32:04  But also, I think what's really cool over the next year and years, you're gonna hear Brad and I talk about some things, and I think it's going to reveal itself how these things are evolving in our lives, because we're pretty open with you guys about what's going on with our lives and what's going on business, what we're going through. And so, for example, I'm an Aquarius, like Kate and Pluto is in Aquarius. So we are here, and Aquarius requires you rebirthing yourself. And this is something that they talked about when they read my chart. It did come up. You may, as Aquarians, and this is if your sun sign, and also your rising could be Aquarius. This could apply to you. Same goes for cancer. It can be your sun sign or your rising sign. So you may experience a tightly packed, intense schedule. I literally made my assistant already send Brad a screenshot of Q1. Yeah, it's in Slack, babe. It's about belief. Are we sure we want to insert this into this quarter? Can we at all look at the next quarter for this Belize trip, and it's because it's already looking very full, and we're not in it yet. And so it's coming through, and you'll hear in my FYF, like, I'm really proud of myself, because I did plan a birthday trip that doesn't need to happen, but I want it to happen. And yes, it adds the intense schedule, but I want Brad to experience a beautiful place that I love. So anyways, it's gonna be in a tightly packed, intense schedule, however, this can lead to big bucks or better bucks than what you've experienced in the past. And so now I'm like, Okay, well, some of that schedule can stay. So Aquarians are encouraged to prioritize their health. I mean, I do, but you should, and if you haven't listened to the ads on this podcast, there's a lot of ways to prioritize your health here, and is it, particularly in the reproductive and unlimited native areas. And I just want to say I've actually been focusing a lot, ladies, if you're over 40, that means, like talking about looking at your hormone health. It doesn't mean to have a baby. I'm just really focused on keeping my hormones as long as I fucking can, and then eliminative areas. It's look at your digestive system. That's what I'm saying. They also said for Aquarians, there's a need to differentiate yourself now, showing more creativity and innovation and how you dress or present yourself. Here's what's so funny. I'm already planning this photo shoot that we're going to do with Monica Linda from Girl Squad, because we're doing a photo shoot with the new decks, and like to get some pictures for future tours. I bought the most amazing fur coat, I mean, the most amazing fur coat, and then I got the skirt that I showed you. And I have wanted to, I want to update the podcast, art and things like that. And if you haven't noticed, I've been wearing more regular clothes lately, you guys. And here's the thing, it's because I'm in a big transition. Yeah, I am showing up, and they said, remind Aquarians this is a big transition. So it does not happen overnight. So I think it's going to take all of 2025 for the new mystic comp. But in my chart reading as an Aquarius, they said, like, you're gonna have a new look. And I have been over this last year changing. I got rid of the eyelashes, right? And I've been practicing makeup, and I've been practicing these different things, and I had started doing my nails. And I'm fucking obsessed with these nails. If you're on YouTube, aren't they beautiful? They're more beautiful than when I came home. So at any rate, like, if you're an Aquarian, we are the weirdo sign. We are the alien sign. We need to stop playing like, ooh, let me hide. I'm an alien. Let's be the weirdos and be the aliens, because this is our time. It's not going to happen in your lifetime again. The last time Pluto entered Aquarius, it was the French Revolution. If I recall, that should have been 1700s that should definitely been a forewarning. Brad Crowell 32:13  The last part, yeah. Lesley Logan 34:50  So let's enjoy the next 20 years (inaudible). Let's get started. Lesley Logan 0:54  All right, Be It babe. We have a very packed episode. I'm just going to say it. I've been wanting to do this with these two ladies for a really long time I listen to their podcast every Monday. We have Mom, Me, And Astrology. We have the hosts of that, Kate and Mary Swick. Ladies, thank you so much for being here. I'm gonna let you guys kick us off, because we have a lot to talk about, about astrology and 2025. 2024 was a lot. So I'm hoping you have good news for all of us.Kate Swick 1:19  Absolutely. Well, we're excited to talk about 2025 I know whenever we start closing up the previous year, we start putting a lot of hopes and wishes and dreams into what the next year can hold. And so today we're going to talk about two major planetary moves that we're going to see next year. And we thought it was so fitting, because I'm an Aquarius and my mom is a Scorpio, and so we're both of our ruling planets, mine being Uranus and hers being Pluto are two of the planets that are changing signs. And so we thought, let's talk about how you're going to be inventive next year and where you're going to grow. Lesley Logan 1:54  Oh my gosh. Mary Swick 1:55  She's right. A lot of that is being truthful, being truthful. And we've had a great headline in our news, just here in the last six months, where a president went out of the trajectory he could have run, he chose not to, or forced whatever the story was, makes no difference. That is the story for 2025. (inaudible) hear it. You're going to be more truthful, and, as Kate said, inventive, and you're going to go out of your trajectory. Now, that's exciting. Lesley Logan 2:27  Yeah, oh my gosh. You guys, we have two, you just heard two voices. We have Kate and we have Mary. Mary's been doing this for 50 years? How long you've been doing this (inaudible)? Mary Swick 2:37  Oh, come on. Don't age me that much. You know what, if I would go back, it's been over 35 years. Lesley Logan 2:43  Okay, okay. And Kate was, like, born into it, and so the two of you have seen a lot, not every single different transition, but a lot of these transitions. So I feel like we're in the best of hands. So why don't you guys kick us off now that we've thought about her about being inventive and truthful in 2025. Kate Swick 3:02  Yeah. So I think that's an interesting point that you made about because we've been doing it for so long. I mean, obviously, mom a little longer, but I have been around the language the two that we're talking about for next year. We, actually, none of us, have lived through it. That's how big of a deal this is. So this is not something like Mercury Retrograde that happens two to three times a year, where you can take your age and times it by three. That's how many times you've been through it. The last time that we saw Pluto and Aquarius was 1777 right? So none of us wereMary Swick 3:31  (inaudible) famous or famous year. Kate Swick 3:34  Yes. So none of us have lived through that. And same as we talk about Uranus, that one does happen a little bit more often about 88 years ago. So there's a small, small population that has gone through that one.Lesley Logan 3:46  I know. But also, one of the things that you guys are so great at is when it's something that's happened in your life before, it's like, well, how did it go for you? Right? And when, if we do have any 88 year olds listening, thank you so much. But also they probably don't remember the year they were born. So, you know, like, right? So I feel like even if you have lived through it, you might not remember how it went for you. Kate Swick 4:06  Very true. You would have been so young. You would have been so young. But we have seen Pluto move signs. So for most of us, we can relate to the disruption that 2008 2009 brought in that we're seeing Pluto change signs again. And although we're talking about Pluto from a 2025 standpoint, we've been feeling it already all of 2023 and 2024 so you might think, well, why are we still talking about this? Mary Swick 4:33  Really. Kate Swick 4:33  You know, but it just, it's slowly, it's got to zero degrees, then it retrogrades back, and then it gets to one degree, and then it retrogrades back. So we have not we've been tested. We've been preparing for it, and we get more confident with it as we it's just like a bike those first couple years of it was like, what the heck is this? And we're hoping that as everyone goes into 2025 you confidently get on that bike and to take the growth and the change or the truth that needs to be seen and done.Lesley Logan 5:04  I love that. Mary Swick 5:05  So should we jump into the signs? Kate, are we ready? Lesley Logan 5:08  Yeah, I'm ready. Mary Swick 5:10  So let's kick it off with Aries. Okay, and I would say Aries have to be embarrassingly honest. Where do they belong? I don't belong in this group. It really isn't me. I've been faking it. I need to go into this group so we could be talking professionally, we could be talking personally, we could even be talking family. It's the team, it's the club, it's the people that you circle around. You've been getting hints about this, but now is real. It's time to step out and to do your own thing, start your own company, start your own project, whatever. But this is a kind of the breakthrough, so to speak. There's no facades anymore, and it could be stripped away from you as well if you're reluctant, right? Yeah.Lesley Logan 5:56  Yeah. I feel like when you fight anything, it doesn't go so well. (inaudible)Kate Swick 6:03  And then for Aries, from the Uranus standpoint, I think 2025 is the year to be spontaneous, to prove your capabilities beyond just your education or your past jobs. So they're getting a little bit more limber in their mind, maybe even in their body. Of what can I do? Maybe they're saying I don't need a certificate to do what I want to do. Lesley Logan 6:26  That's cool, but that works really well with what Pluto is asking Aries to do. So hopefully that's for every sign, but I like it for the Aries people.Kate Swick 6:34  Like we're up to a good start. Mary Swick 6:35  Easier than the others. I might (inaudible) move on to Taurus. It's a different thing there. I suspect most Tauruses are saying how did I get myself into the situation I'm currently in? There could be some sense of a stranglehold. There could be some sense of oh, my God, this is more, too much. I can't handle this. Or feeling if they're really being pushed, tested. This is their reputation that's being redefined, and there's usually some sort of initiation that you have to go through, and that's where the Tauruses are at, so to speak. So there is some challenges there for Taurus. I'm sorry, so that all can't be as easy, so to speak, but it delivers. There's always a reward. Astrology is not about okay, you're going to be punished now. No, no, no. It's going to create circumstances that make you so uncomfortable that motivates you to make the change. And that's what Tauruses are looking at, and they're having a baptism by fire.Kate Swick 7:33  And because with what mom just talked about it, seeing there public reputation. Think of their LinkedIn. What is my title? How do people address me when we look at the Uranus piece, it's affecting their money, right? And Uranus is this idea of surprise, shocking, taking us out of the trajectory that we've known. And so for Tauruses, I would say, anticipate some good news, or some something exciting around their money, so they could be creating new streams of income, or they might be redefining what security looks like to them. So security can come through money. But we also have to throw a little bit of love in there as well.Mary Swick 8:11  Should we go on to Gemini? Lesley Logan 8:13  Yeah, let's do it. Mary Swick 8:14  Gemini. You know, they could be suffering a little bit from imposter syndrome, very strongly. They could be going oh, my God, I'm in over my head. They've assumed I know something, and I really don't. I'm not up to speed. If there's a favorable one, Gemini is getting the benefit of the doubt here. They're getting pulled in, whether they're getting promoted, whether they're given an opportunity. Hey, we'll support you. You go take these classes, you know, have this opportunity, go represent us. It's very good. So my message to Geminis is, in 2025, yeah, you're going to be a little overwhelmed, but it's going to be very flattering for you for where it's going to take you, go there.Lesley Logan 8:56  I love that, Mary, because it's like imposter syndrome can be such a negative, people like I have imposter syndrom, it's negative, but it's we're often having that because we're in a new situation, that we're uncomfortable, and so, go Geminis. You're going to have something overwhelming in a flattering way. Mary Swick 9:12  That's right.Kate Swick 9:14  And that pairs very nicely with Uranus, because I don't think we quite said it yet. We know Pluto is moving into Aquarius, but Uranus is moving into Gemini. So Uranus is moving into the sign of Gemini. So while it's affecting the things that mom said as well with Pluto, Uranus is saying, break out, change that those outwardly behaviors that people see. So you might be surprising people. Where are you showing up? Are you dressed in a suit? Where last time the job that I saw you, you were dressed in joggers, right? So there should be an outward appearance by our Geminis that they have changed. It might be age inappropriate. It might not seem like that was the next logical step. So there could be a surprise element for what they're up to or what opportunities they're getting.Mary Swick 9:57  And what about Cancer? Those Cancers. They're being handed power, but they may feel very uncomfortable what to do with this power. They may want to make an alliance with someone, and then they realize, oh, now there's complications, because I've lined up with that person. So Cancer is walking a very fine line. They may have a lot of taboo or secrets that they need to hold. Think of upper management reorganization. They know stuff that's going to happen. They've got to zip their lip in the meantime. But we could also be talking about, oh, I've got a big debt issue. I don't want people to know I'm teetering on bankruptcy again. Those are extreme storylines, but they're great examples where you just not glib. You're not going to chat it up with everybody about what's going on. Lesley Logan 10:45  Because the opposite of Aries. Mary Swick 10:47  I want to add sex into this conversation, because there's intimacy, some tabooness, maybe some gossip, maybe something that you're trying to not have everyone understand, and maybe some sort of sexual awakening going on. Yeah, have fun. Kate Swick 11:05  From the Uranus standpoint, I think Cancers are putting more of a focus on health in regards to maybe becoming more aware of what do I need for therapeutic services? Now, for some people that might go into, oh, I need to go to the doctor. I need to get something checked out. But other people that might transpire, and I need to go to yoga, I need to go to the gym. I need to take mental health walks, things that assist them with essentially, kind of escaping to heal themselves.Mary Swick 11:35  So let's go on to Leo. Leo, you know, they have an awakeness about beauty, a greater esthetic going on. And that sounds fun. It sounds like they might be around maybe more wealth. They might be around beauty. They may have really influential people in their lives, and they're sitting first row and seeing, oh my gosh, they're seeing how they dress, or what their closet looks like. So they may be privy to this next level of living. And of course, they're going to be little apprentices sitting there watching how these people are living and wanting to emulate or adapt to it. So that sounds kind of fun, number one. But the other thing is, they're finding some passion, finding some passion something that motivates them. Again, so I'm pretty cool with the Leos. Yes, it's a possibility. They're being overwhelmed with someone who's has a lot of power influence, that they're getting sucked up. They're losing their identity. Well, those are all the lessons, right? They may do that temporarily, until they realize, you know, okay, that's not me, that's them.Lesley Logan 12:37  I like that. That's also because the Leo's, you know, my brother is a Leo. He's a Leo energy. We were in Cambodia, and every picture, he was in every picture, I'm like, how are you in every picture? There's 23 people on this retreat. How are you in every picture? Mary Swick 12:54  They do have an ego. We'll give them that. But that's why this idea of, okay, is this me or is this them? But it's a learning, big learning curve. Being inducted would be another life, nice way of saying it. Kate Swick 13:07  And I think Leo's next year might surprise people with what type of groups they're showing up in. So for example, if someone's a Leo and they've always been in a certain industry, this would be typical under a Uranus energy to say, oh, now I'm in the restaurant industry used to know me in the spa industry, but now, hello, I'm over here. So the idea of who is that group, who is that community, they should be showing up in new communities. And it's also a big one for being on a learning curve. So your Leo friends might be throwing out some interesting things that they're interested in that you thought. I had no idea that you were interested in that topic, because they are hungry for new knowledge.Mary Swick 13:46  And the Virgos, oh my gosh, the Virgos are getting very sensitive about discrimination. You know what? They're going to have, kind of this radar about unequal relationships, where they're being spoken down to, but also where, oh, everyone's listening to me now. I can be the teacher. I can be a coach. I can be the trainer. So it works both ways. One way, of course, they may want to prove themselves. Get out of that situation. Their work environment is going through a little revolution, the company, the department, or their individual business, they're having to make some dramatic changes.Kate Swick 14:26  Yeah, and that's really being doubled down by the Uranus, because we have Uranus sitting at the top of their chart. So I'm talking about sixth house, which is how they serve, and then the 10th house is the public reputation on top of it. So even though their work has been in a transformative state. I think as we go into next year, maybe they're going to be thrown into a role that they weren't totally prepared for, or they might have opportunities to show more of their inventiveness. This can also translate into the home where, if they're flip-flopping about, do we want to live here? Do I want to lease this? Do I want to resign my lease at the office, there could be a little confusion about where they're showing up or where their foundation is.Mary Swick 15:07  (inaudible) I'm sorry. Lesley Logan 15:09  That's right, I was just gonna say that's a lot for the Virgos, especially because don't, aren't they the ones that like it in balance? Mary Swick 15:14  Maybe I think (inaudible)Kate Swick 15:16  I agree for the ones that we've talked about so far, that one is hitting so much of the way that they serve. The other ones are kind of spread out. We have a little here and, yeah, a little here. And I feel like for them, it's a little bit more pointed on what they're dealing with. Lesley Logan 15:28  Yeah, yeah, yeah. Kate Swick 15:30  We are halfway through the signs. So I didn't know if there was any questions that you have so far about what we're discussing. Or we can go right into Libra. Lesley Logan 15:38  Well, just for a quick in case anyone is wondering about the house. Just like, and I know that's it's its own thing, but can people find out their houses through you guys? Where do they find their houses? Just in case that is a thing that they're wondering.Kate Swick 15:55  Yeah. So today we're just talking solar astrology. So we're basing the houses based just on their sun sign. So anyone that's a little bit more versed in astrology, they could be listening for their rising sign, and this would be very applicable to them as well. But if someone has no idea, they've never put their birth information into CoStar or they've never had a professional astrology reading, we offer services that would go more into understanding that natal chart, or talking about specifically, where is it happening in that birth chart? Solar astrology still has so much validity and even if we have someone's natal chart, many times, we still do incorporate the solar astrology aspect that we're talking about today.Lesley Logan 16:37  Yeah, if you go back, you guys and hit rewind, because you might have heard your rising like they did my rising. You can listen to that. And you can also listen to your sun sign, the one that we look in the magazines, for you guys, in case you really need to layman's terms it. And you can go, oh, this one actually feels more like what's going on. And you can kind of rest, right? It's not you pick and choose what you like, but you can kind of go, that feels more aligned with what's going on. Kate Swick 16:59  Absolutely. Because astrology is just the communication language. Astrologers, like to me, are like therapists. You know, you have to find one that they speak your language and the words resonate so you could hear two different astrologers talking, getting at the same thing, but because their language is a little different, maybe you relate to one more than the other. Mary Swick 17:18  Wonderful. Well, let's move on to Libra. Libra is finding or should I put it this way, the audience is finding Libras. The audience is finding Libras. Then often they go, oh, these people are interested. These people want to hear what I do, or they want to experience it. So whether it's just a random contact with someone says, Would you be interested in coming to our group? That's a case where the audience finds them. So kind of shoe on the other foot, we always think we have to go out and conquer and find and sometimes the group finds you. That's what's going on with Libras. At the same time they're probably facing some and I'm going to say demons, inner demons, that we could be head stuff, but we can also be talking the physical body. Oh, I need to take care of this. I need to be more mindful of my physical body. So they've got all battle going on, but at the same time, I almost will, within the same week, they'll also have someone reaching out to them and saying, I like what you do. Can you do it for me? Can you do it for us? So I think Libras have some great things to look forward to. Lesley Logan 18:28  Yeah.Kate Swick 18:28  Livelihood is one of the words that I would throw in when describing what Libras are going through from the Pluto standpoint. They're questioning is that my livelihood vitality, but with the Uranus, the Uranus also supports it very nice, because it's happening in that solar ninth house, and mom's saying people are finding them. And then the Uranus also suggests that they're being placed a little bit on a pedestal. They're being invited in. They're being given opportunities to be heard and seen on a much larger level. So sometimes that can be oh, because they're jumping on a plane and they're traveling to another city or another country and taking pictures. But also, if they're in business, they might say people in other states now are finding my name or on my website or listening to my podcast, they might feel like they have a larger web of who they can infiltrate.Lesley Logan 19:20  That's so fun. Mary Swick 19:22  That's a great combination for Libras. Lesley Logan 19:24  Yeah, they're gonna be, they're having the great year. If they want to be found, if you're on a watch list. Mary Swick 19:29  They're going where it takes them absolutely. The (inaudible), on the other hand. Now, okay, we should play some somber music for this one. The idea is the home environment. There's something been very disruptive in the home environment for Scorpios, they've already felt it here in 2024 it's going to continue through 2025 and yes, it's creating some sense of maybe, oh, a crisis. This needs to be taken care of, whether it's a maintenance issue, whether it's a behavior, whether it's health, whatever the matter is here, there are some sense of disconnect from home. Home isn't running the way it normally does. So needless to say, great time for Scorpios to get anything therapeutic, whatever feeds them, whatever can make them feel fun or whole or complete, so to speak. To counter all this heaviness going on. It's a big energy. Obviously, they may be releasing a lot of things. I would recommend it practice taking out the trash more often, you know, have more things in that trash can because you're releasing, your processing. I mean, it's the cheapest therapy, right, that you can get clean off the shelf. Lesley Logan 20:37  Throw stuff away. Mary Swick 20:37  It starts there. Kate Swick 20:39  And then for Scorpios, for Uranus, there is also a money theme to this one as well, but they might be making kind of a surprising or shocking change in how they view money, or how they're restructuring the money that they have. So yes, they could have a surprise. Oh, I'm going to make my money this way, or my partner's money has changed a little bit. It doesn't have to be just seen in the negative when we talk about the change, though, it can be something that, oh, that was actually very beneficial for us. It can also bring about awareness of mortality when we talk about that eighth house. So the idea of feeling like mortality, they have more awareness of it. And that doesn't have to mean someone passes away, but they just have the language around the idea of closing a chapter. And what does that new one look like.Mary Swick 21:28  Sagittarius. I would say to Sagittarius, beware of betrayal. Now that sounds like a little bit detective thing, but it's the idea of what is the truth. We went back to that example, that 2025 is a truthful year. You're going off your trajectory. Sometimes there can be a little trickster in this, and someone could be feeding you gossip or the worst case scenario, and be careful not to buy into it, because there's going to be intense conversations. The schedule is apt to be disrupted, and that can be just mundane stuff that can do that, so to speak, but it's an intense time period, so they have to be very careful with their own word, what they're repeating, but also who's in their ear, and is it clean information? That would be the key thing there. That idea of being the editor, maybe that's the word. Sagittarius needs to be a great editor this year in what they're hearing and deciding what is actually truthful.Kate Swick 22:28  And for the Uranus piece, it's affecting the area of partnerships and relationships. So we can go to sexual partners, but we can also go to professional partners as well. Sagittarius might be starting to conduct relationships in a little bit of a different way than they're used to. Now, if you're listening to this thinking, oh no, what's going to happen to me, right? The chart does meet you where you're at, so not everyone's going to experience it the same way. But if you're someone that says, oh, we've always shown up everywhere together, you might say, I'm going on my first girls trip. I'm branching off a little bit. And if it's not you requiring more freedom, then it can be partner requiring more freedom as well. Lesley Logan 23:08  Which gives you some freedom because they're gonna.Kate Swick 23:10  Which it does. Lesley Logan 23:11  Yeah, I know when my husband goes off to see his friends, I'm like, that's awesome.Kate Swick 23:18  Yeah and if you're not in a partnership, because that's possible, there's Sagittarius listening and thinking well, how does that affect me if I'm not in a partnership, anyone that we sign contracts with would be considered a partnership. So if you're leasing from someone right, there could be something that changes rather quickly, where, oh, I'm just going to go month to month now leasing, instead of the full years, there should still be a little bit of that inventiveness around what partnerships look like. Mary Swick 23:45  It could also be a very unlikely partnership, yeah, who are you with? And who is that? And that's unlike anyone you've been around before. Very fast moving. Well, let's talk Capricorns. Capricorns, I do think that they're mining, mining like digging. And they're taking, maybe they're finding a talent, ability, and now they're thinking, could this be a source of income? How deep can I get into this? So I'm saying they're finding talents and abilities about themselves. Now somebody else may be pointing it out. Oh, you're really good at this. Would you do it for me? It could be the start. If we have any Capricorns out there, we're trying to launch a side hustle, or a business, or things of that nature, would be very good. But they're going deeper in their talents and with their money. So of course, if we got a spending problem, oh, they're going to recognize it pretty quickly here, and have to put the band aid on or tear the band aid off, whichever is more appropriate there. But I think they have to be truthful about what they're really good at.Kate Swick 24:52  One other thing I might mention for Capricorn while we're talking about Pluto is we have to recognize that since 2008 Pluto has been going through every single degree of Capricorn. So our Capricorns have been through it since 2008, and Pluto, we've talked about it demands change and transformation. So they've been transforming. They've been changing. And now where Pluto's moving, they might say, I long for security. I want to be in this relationship for a long time. I want to live in this home for a long time. I want to work at this place for a long time, and security's gonna look different for everyone. But I think we do need to congratulate Capricorns. You know that it is done as we get into those first few months of 2025. Lesley Logan 25:35  You made it. You guys made it. Mary Swick 25:38  Yeah, finally, finally.Kate Swick 25:40  And then, when we talk about Uranus for Capricorns also affecting the workplace, so they should expect some exciting news or some change or some inventiveness in how they work. Are they outgrowing peers? Are they having new opportunities to teach or train or coach? Those would all be very exciting and supportive of Uranus.Mary Swick 26:05  And then we have Aquarius. I feel badly talking about Aquarius, where I've got you sitting right here, but I'll start out with Aquarius requires you rebirthing yourself, maybe under pressure. So I want you to think of the idea of gold. Gold forms under pressure. That's what Aquariuses are. So their timing, their schedule, could be a log jam, so to speak, but they will succeed, push through it, so to speak. I do think that this is very good for those in business. This can be leading to, let's say, big bucks or better bucks, than what they've experienced in the past. So we have some favorable things here. I would remind them take care of themselves, particularly in the reproductive area, the eliminative areas of the body, very important under this energy. I want to tell us a story. I hope you don't mind Kate, but she's an Aquarius, and you know she.Kate Swick 26:58  Lesley is, too. Yeah. Lesley Logan 27:00  I just heard all good news for me. I looked at my schedule, it looks a little log jam, so we already working on that, but I heard big bucks. And so I'm very interested, but I do want to hear Kate's Aquarian story.Mary Swick 27:14  Well, you know, Kate booked a room at the Luxor to watch the demolition of the Tropicana. She wanted to see it firsthand.Lesley Logan 27:23  Yeah, I looked at the videos, Kate, it looks like the smoke took over the rooms,Mary Swick 27:29  Exactly. It's a simple story. Oh, I want to see it firsthand. That's what Aquarius are doing. They're coming close to the fire. They're coming close to transitional energies. Energies that will take. We know what's going to happen on the Tropicana site, where we've seen the plans of what is going to be built. They want to be a part of this big reinvention of themselves. And it's scary, but it's very exciting, because these are long energies. This isn't like a, oh, 18-month energy, then it's going to be over. It's a 20-year energy. So congratulations, Kate. (inaudible)Kate Swick 28:04  She makes a good point about you might hear all of this and sound overwhelmed. I have to do all that, you know, and just the fact that I'll speak in the first person in this, I was attracted to seeing that Tropicana go down, because it's just mirroring something that I know is maybe brewing in my own life. So for Aquarians, when we start talking about Uranus, this is a big one for showing more creativity and innovation, and with where it's hitting, it might start showing up in the wardrobe, in how you're dressing, in how you're wearing your makeup, and how you're wearing your hair. There is a need to differentiate yourself. Now, for Aquarians, that might just sound like you guys are always differentiating yourselves. You are the alien of the group. But again, there's more of a need to do it. It's a big one for performative skills and leadership opportunities, we need to be seen. Lesley Logan 28:58  Kate, I love this for us. I'm just.Kate Swick 29:06  I think it adds a kind of a performative piece to the Pluto, because I do think that can be kind of emotional. And like mom said, just like the Tropicana going down, we know that that's going to be 18 months or something before we see what's going there. It doesn't happen overnight. Aquarians right now are not working on things that can be put on the to-do list in the morning and then crossed off by the end of the night. Mary Swick 29:28  Right. Very good point. Yes, yes. Kate Swick 29:30  I think we're lucky right now, if we put it on our 2024 vision board, will we see it before the beginning of 2025? Lesley Logan 29:37  That resonates so much with me, because we're in the middle of transitioning something in one of our businesses, and when we came up with this idea was already at the time we're recording this, you guys, was already four months ago. By the time it's unveiled publicly, it'll be six months from this. And so as someone who loves things that happen like this, I've had to go this particular project is going to take time for it to sunset, for it to transition, for it to evolve into its next thing that is also going to be successful for everyone who's involved in it. And it's the hardest thing. But thank you for bringing up the Tropicana. You guys, if you can't tell, we all live in Vegas, and you should google what the Tropicana being taken down. It was really cool. They did a whole show. But it's really cool to go, oh, a big building like that. The new transition, you can have the vision, but it's going to take time. And so thank you for bringing it up.Kate Swick 30:26  Yeah, and I hope that when you can launch your new thing, because I have no idea what it is, right, your thing, that there's a performative kind of aspect to launching it. I've changed, or, you know, that there's a new look that would come with it. Lesley Logan 30:41  Ooh, love that. Mary Swick 30:41  Fabulous. Well, let's wrap up with Pisces. I'd like to talk about Pisces. Let's talk like it's 2026, and I'm talking to a Pisces, and I'm going to say things like, how did you ever get out of that situation? Or, how did you turn lead into gold? How did you know what to do? So I'm going to suggest that Pisces, you're going to go through a storyline, probably a complex storyline that at the time you may go like, how am I going to find my answer here? You will, you will come out clean. I've had lovely stories of people who came from very harsh situations and they turned around and their life turned out really, really well. How did you survive that? How did you get through that? So we have something going on with Pisces here that certainly does suggest a challenge is there, but it also suggests a big healing going on, spiritual, mentally, psychologically, yes, it could involve the belief systems, religion. I do think, though it's going to involve maybe travel, but not comfortable poolside travel, you know, it's going to be adventurous travel, or third world country travel, something where there's a roughiness, or there's survival. How did you do that? How did you get through that? So Pisces is pulling the old magic trick, which they're naturally kind of good at that. Kate Swick 30:42  I think they're extracting themselves from something. But again, these are long storylines. These are not just something that it's already done and said. And then lastly, for Pisces with the Uranus piece, this is shaking up their home. So we know that Uranus is flip-floppy, Uranus is inventive, and so they're bringing that energy into the home. Now that can be something where they're saying, oh, let's move. And they get really excited about moving. Maybe they even start the process. They get a realtor, and then they decide, oh, never mind, right? Or maybe they have a new build, and they think it's gonna be done on a certain date, but, oh, it's not so now we have to live in an apartment for a small amount of time. So again, there can just be a little bit more chaos around the home, or some flip-flopping stories. Are we coming? Are we going? So it shakes up that foundation. I would say they have a little bit of flexibility in regards to what the home looks and feels like.Lesley Logan 33:01  That's fun, mom, that was for you. My mom is, is a triple Pisces. Mary Swick 33:09  Oh she has tons of stories that you say to her, how did you get through that, mom? Right? Lesley Logan 33:18  Yeah, yeah, yeah. Mary Swick 33:19  They come out unscathed from storylines that are. You just think, oh, you died, right, in that, you know, they didn't take it somewhere, and they did. Lesley Logan 33:29  That is so, you guys okay. So, wow, we went through all of that and these two big changes. I'm impressed with you both so much. And here's what I love about the way you guys talk about it. And Kate, you already mentioned this, but the way you guys talk about astrology is that even the things that can feel bad, they're always set ups for what is to come and where we're going to grow from these things. So I think that that's a really cool way of looking at it, because when I was growing up and I looked at the horoscopes in the magazines, you're going to have a really bad day. You're losing money like it just felt like these dark calls, but every single sign feels like they have something to challenge themselves in the next year. And then for Aquarians, it sounds like we get Pluto for 20 but if the big bucks keep coming for 20 years, I'm cool with that. But, we all have something to challenge. And then there's some other parts of us that's highlighting, and it's bringing out parts of us that need to be seen or want to be seen. And so I feel really cool about this. It's like having a friend who can just give an opinion or show something to you that you didn't see yourself. Astrology is very validating, not as much as it is predictive. I mean, we say predictive, but it's really validation is the key to it. If you're getting the green light, that kind of says go. Get the yellow light, oh, maybe not, you know, slow down, not the right time. It's a valuable, valuable tool. Lesley Logan 38:02  I love that as an item, as a way to look at it as a validation. I think that's a it's a really wonderful thing. And I know we always want to use a prediction, but I find it's easier to look backwards and go, oh, that's how that showed up, right there. We'll all know what happened this Sunday, that (inaudible) it was all in the stars. We're all going to be there. We didn't know what the thing was until it happened. So yeah.Kate Swick 38:23  I agree. Validation is the word that comes to my mind. I think a lot of times, astrology is seen as, oh, they're going to give me the answer, they're going to tell me what to do. And astrology just says these are the energies that you're under. And, one, so it goes into that validation, okay, that's what I'm feeling, that's what I'm doing. So you're not questioning yourself. Did I mess it up? Am I in the wrong place? Am I in the wrong time? Do I just throw everything away? So the validation piece is there, but also knowing what's going to happen, especially when you go through hard things, for example, being in Aquarius and being under this Pluto energy for the past 18 months, like, when hard things happen, then I'm just like, oh, Pluto chucks, you're here again. Obviously it doesn't take away from the emotion of what I'm going through, but it almost just says this is temporary. I'm learning a lesson here, not to blame astrology, but to just understand I'm going through and dealing with exactly what I'm supposed to be dealing. I'm not the victim. I'm not being punished. This is all part of much larger plan and a much larger cycle. Mary Swick 39:23  And believe, Kate and I have been going through some really strong health issues for my husband, her father. So we have so had Pluto energy tracking it. And I know every day we look at each other and go another Pluto story for us, you know, and yet we have very optimism. Good people go through those Pluto energies. They come out better. And I've seen some miraculous financial stories come out of these energies, so.Lesley Logan 39:49  Yeah, I will say, Mary, you were the one who was like, looking at my chart, and that said, you have riches. You just have to mine for them. And that validation of like, okay, because that year that we talked about that like, which hit with one thing after the next, and I was just like, am I even in the right business? Am I doing the right thing? Am I on the right track? I listened to that again. It's like, okay, no, we just have to keep working through it and digging around, and it's gonna be there. You know, after May of last year, things sort of start to come to fruition in a great way. It was like all the efforting of laying the bricks and just keep it going. It was like, Okay, we're getting there. So I agree on the validation. I also think it's really great for going, Oh, Mercury or Pluto all the way. It's a different version than, ah, shit. You know, you get to like.Kate Swick 40:35  So many people do that with mercury, yeah, right? Because Mercury retrograde, everyone's like, oh, Mercury retrograde. That's why my ex boyfriend's reaching back out, or that's why the call dropped. So many people already do that, and she does have a bigger scope. You have more planets to blame. Lesley Logan 40:48  Yeah, share the blame. Give Mercury some time off, guys. I adore you, ladies, so much. This was a dream episode for me. I've to be really honest.
