When you’re informed of a last-minute cancellation on your hotel or restaurant reservation intended for a special event, how would you react? Would you cancel the whole event or move it to another venue? In Doctor TK’s case, she faced not only one, but two cancellations on the venue she chose for a retreat that’s gonna happen in 60 days. But because of her clear mission to connect with her audience on a deeper level, the barriers didn’t stop her from moving forward and making it happen. Join us in today’s episode as we witness how many roadblocks came in Doctor TK’s way before it led to the success of her first-ever retreat that also resulted in the birth of her Elite Coaching Program. Take a snapshot of this episode and tell us what adversities you encountered that led you to a prosperous moment in your life! Podcast Goals:  Recognize how unforeseen changes can be manifestation in disguise Episode Timeline:Doctor TK talks about her purpose on hosting her own retreat (01:21)What things are covered for her to decide for the price points of the event? (02:37) A potential venue was found on Airbnb that would house 11 people (03:04)When the deposit was about to be put down, the estate disappeared (04:15)On to the second prospect venue, Doctor TK explains why she uses her title when booking an accommodation and why the number of attendees have to be reduced (04:54)An email was received from Airbnb informing that the second location had to be cancelled. Doctor TK encourages reading the fine print to be aware of the cancellation policy (07:11)When she finally found an official venue for the event, the retreat is now exclusive for 2-3 persons (10:03)Doctor TK shared how the event set the tone for her ability to work in groups in live settings on a whole new level (12:33)What were the activities set up for the retreat? (12:59)The event led to the birth of her Elite Coaching Program (14:32)What's coming up in the next episode? (16:07) Standout Quotes from Doctor TK:“When you throw an event, you have to look at all costs whether it be some surprises that of course I had, staff that are helping you out, other activities, food, and lodging.” (02:44)“Sometimes you are faced with adversity whether it's in your personal life and/or in your business or honestly, in this pandemic; and you may be given a sign—and you take that sign as giving up when you're right at the tipping point. But because you can't see the other side of the mountain—which is pretty much your next level of prosperity and abundance—you choose to stop, give up, and say you know what, maybe it wasn't meant to be. And that's simply not true because I believe that everything does happen for a reason—sometimes you are at the location and people that you're supposed to be with, anyway.” (09:03)“Now I knew going into that program that I really wanted to have a one-on-one coaching program, but that was my opportunity to also test myself out to see how much I had grown in my coaching business—to be able to give these women the opportunity to also get one-on-one time with me.” (14:35)"I really loved that all the obstacles and the barriers that came up really showed me that you should not give up. And just because you see changes happening, just look at the world that we're living in today, maybe it can be manifestations disguised based on your actions. It also showed me that I need to enter into this new year and become very unstoppable." (15:44) Resources Mentioned:You’re invited to the prosperous 3-day private practice boot camp! Take fast action and see how far you can go by applying what you learned in today’s topic!  Podcast Goals:   Learn how Doctor TK’s manifestation hacks resulted in an upgraded Delta One seat, access to an office in New York, and her being a bicoastal service provider Episode Timeline:Flashback to September 2018, Doctor TK recalled how she manifested for a Delta One flight to NY for her birthday (01:36)A whole new level of a check-in: What privileges did they enjoy as a Delta One flyer? (07:15)The search for a sister office in New York (11:45)Coaching sessions with therapists from NY and other events held in her satellite office (15:01)Doctor TK goes bicoastal - hosting events and offering services in NY and in various states (17:21) Standout Quotes from Doctor TK:“It just lit up my light to expose my child to it because he had never experienced this ever, of course I exposed my husband to it as well but me too, soaking up the experience of being able to manifest an awesome experience on a new-level plane.” (11:27)“I did recognize that I was attracting a lot of individuals from the East Coast, so why not use my office? And now to date I've used that office a total of 3 times. It feels good to know that I have a space to be able to offer my services in somewhere where I can meet my clients in a comfortable space where I also know the management because that's literally the sister office to the office that I have in California.” (16:38)“I do believe that the universe gives you signs and ideas, and it's more about what you do with them—are you going to execute the ideas or are you just going to entertain and allow them to just stay on a to-do list?” (18:58) Resources Mentioned:You’re invited to the prosperous 3-day private practice boot camp! Walt Disney World is truly a magical family travel destination in which, according to many, is the happiest place on Earth. Its hefty price didn’t stop Doctor TK from reaching her goal that she even affirmed to fly to Orlando with 4 family members via Delta One, one of the most exclusive cabins in the sky! In today’s episode, she will share how she was able to manifest her luxurious travel using the scripting method and one more hack that results in more manifestations coming through. You will learn to tap into what you really want to become, let go, and leave it to the universe to do its work.Make sure to check out Richard Dott’s book, “It is Done!” to learn more on how to apply a powerful manifestation tool in your life: https://www.amazon.com/dp/1519125429/?ref=exp_doctortkpsych_dp_vv_d Podcast Goals:  Utilize the manifestation hack that Doctor TK applied on her first-class travel to Walt Disney World with family Episode Timeline:Doctor TK took manifestation seriously during her Coaching Program w/ Manifestation Expert, Dr Stacia Pierce. Within the first year, what was she able to manifest? (00:50)Learning from Arianna Pierce’s Manifestation Prompts and Props, Doctor TK shared about her goal card and how she planned for the trip (03:08)Unable to find great deals for the trip, how did she eventually let go of the How? (05:30)When time came her vision finally manifested, Doctor TK recalled how it happened (08:19)How did she reveal the news to her family? (10:49)Doctor TK talked about her eldest son’s reaction upon their boarding including some first-class privilege they enjoyed (12:39) Standout Quotes from Doctor TK:“I was literally checking everyday, then that's when I started getting wind of 'Girl, you gotta let go of the How, you're sitting here tryna control the price of these tickets. Just believe that it's already done.” (06:10)“I then realized that the amount that would be the difference to upgrade the seats to first-class were half off the price than they originally were.” (09:49)“I also just got very excited to see what confidence boost can happen when you upgrade your life.” (12:31)"It brings joy to bring joy to other people, but it also felt really good to know that as soon as I actually figured out a way to let go of the How. I focused on just living my life because I've already put it out in the atmosphere that this is what I wanted, it came to pass. So, if you're questioning how to move through and maneuver through manifestations, it's probably because you're blocking your manifestation from happening which is why it's not happening." Thriving with Nature: Living a Regenerative Lifestyle

Nature is beautiful and spectacular. It has serene energy - most of the time. But there is the crux or apex where Nature’s beauty all comes crashing together in the moment of life and death. For one species to survive it often has to eat or kill another. Not necessarily annihilate the entire species but just eat one here and there for it’s own survival. Life and Death must occur for the greater good of the whole ecosystem. The branches and leaves of the trees, as they die they become food for the microbes who in turn, alchemise them into nutrients for the plants around there. There is a beauty in this life and death - but I still struggle with the “okayness” of it all. Today I witnessed a frog being eaten by a snake. I couldn’t watch. I was empathising with the prey, the victim. But it made me think - why not also celebrate that that snake will get to survive another day because it was smarter than its prey.In today’s podcast I contemplate the beauty in this transition and battle in nature… join me and feel free to share your comments below in any of my sites - I’d love to hear what comes up for you after you hear the episode!I am part of the Heal Thy Self TRiBE as an educator. In those few days I was there I learnt a lot about the practical side of Syntropic Agroforestry. I even recorded an Introduction to Syntropic Agroforestry video on the farm that you can see on my YouTube Channel here.In today's episode, I got to sit down with Scott and talk about how this methodology is about understanding that we are part of the system and that we should always look at the happenings inside the consortiums as a whole of the macro-organism. Normally, a podcast will ask you to listen to an awesome show. Which we will. But just for a moment, if it’s okay, I’d love for you to take a journey with me. Grab your passport.Imagine it… the pandemic has passed us by. There’s no more talk of second waves or spikes, no more lockdowns and social distancing, no more politicians trying to use your health as a gambling chip. You got in late to your Air BnB the night before, so you couldn’t go to the beach right then but you definitely heard the waves and smelled the salt water. But finally it’s morning. With both a sense of urgency, but not a care in the world, you pack your bag with your towel, water, sunscreen and a book. You turn your phone on airplane mode, throw on your flip flops and sunglasses, stroll out your front door and set your foot into the warm, soft sand. You stop at an outdoor beach café to get some iced coffee and some fresh fruit for grazing, smiling and waving at all of the lovely people around you. It doesn’t matter that you don’t know them – you’re all just there together, and sharing in the peace. You stop, take a look around, find your perfect spot, sit down and forget all of the stress that led up to this moment. Because you’re finally on vacation. That is exactly the experience that my next guest helps to create with her amazing clients. Today, I’m talking with Ashley Campo who runs a thriving Vacation Rental Management Company in Tulum, Mexico and teaches clients hot to make more money on their vacation rentals – while working less. For those retailers that are most impacted by COVID-19 and are either completely shut down or only operating with limited direct to consumer fulfillment, we can’t predict exactly when current conditions will allow re-opening of stores and operations. But it is coming, and it’s imperative to prepare now. How do you effectively re-start your business in a controlled manner, with stores re-opening based on regional conditions, and consumers finally venturing out from behind their computers and mobile devices? Many retailers were working hard or struggling to be competitive before the pandemic. The focus now is to quickly reset at least to where you were before the retail lockdown started, but perhaps there’s an opportunity to go further. How quickly your team can respond and rise to the challenge will determine your place in the future pecking order, if not survival itself. In the podcast version of the 3rd webinar in Parker Avery's Reconstructing Retail series, Robert Kaufman and Clay Parnell are joined by industry expert Joe Skorupa in helping you::Understand what your leadership team should be thinking about now and how to prepare for Day 1Learn how to consider a roadmap for the first week, first month, and the initial 1-2 seasons back after being closedHear survey results from other retailers on their experiences, concerns, and plansConsider how important accurate and timely data and related analytics will be to ensuring effective decision-makingThe webinar content references a slide deck, which can be found by clicking hereLearn more about The Parker Avery Group by visiting: https://www.parkeravery.com/ Introduction music:  On My Way by Kevin MacLeodLink: https://incompetech.filmmusic.io/song/4163-on-my-wayLicense: http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/Cover image by Jorge Guillen from Pixabay

In the first episode of OPR, Opolis founder John Paller, sits down at Opolis HQ with Dana Look-Arimoto, author of Stop Settling, Settle Smart: Rethinking Work-life Balance, Redesign Your Busy Life. “Work-life “balance” is a myth. Throughout our lives we’ve been sold a bill of goods that we can have it all, by being our all, by doing it all. There are limits to what we may achieve at one time and throughout our lives that require conscious trade-offs. We are simply not super-human. There are situational and relative life events that change how we live our lives, and therefore, how we navigate. This is why we must settle more and settle less, which is the key to settling smart! Stop Settling® is a method, a mindset, and a movement that helps you understand who you are, what’s important to you, and make conscious choices about where you want to spend your time so that you are able to communicate that to others around you not only at work, but in all key life facets. Remember, It’s not about balance. It is about harmonious integration powered by what it is that you really want. Harmony beats balance every time! It’s all about knowing how to Settle Smart.”  To connect with Dana Look-Arimoto, click HERE To connect with John Paller, click HERE Learn about Opolis HERE Thank you for listening. On April 2, 1976 the Oakland A's trade future Hall of Famer Reggie Jackson and World Series hero and Al Start Pitcher Ken Holtzman to the Baltimore Orioles for Don Baylor, Mike Torrez and Paul Mitchell.  At the time Jackson had won an MVP, made 6 All-Star appearances, was a driving force in 3 Championships, and he was second all-time in home runs for the franchise and 4th in career RBI's.  Holtzman was a workhorse pitching between 255 - 297 innings and winning 58% of his games. He made 2 All-Star games and won game 7 in the 1973 World Series.  Don Baylor at the time was an evolving player and Mike Torrez had established himself as a good pitcher but not on Holtzman's level.  We look into the trade and why it happened.  To read more check out - This Day in Baseball  You can find more April 2 events HERE Learn more about Reggie Jackson

Water as an analogy for feminine energy. The toxic versions of feminine energy: victimhood, powerless, weak, manipulative, needy, withholding, overly emotional, co-dependent, jealous. Why you should “show your heart” and what this means. Underneath the toxic femininity is normally a longing and processing grief. “The feminine is chaos.” Some people are born with a masculine body, but with more feminine energy and vice versa. It’s an important lesson to heed when you are putting together your packaging for your product. Remember, anyone can turn out mass produced, low-quality products, but there aren't’ many sellers who take the time to add the little things that go a long way. It doesn’t take a lot to impress your buyers. Start small. Put some effort into quality packaging, a thank you note, a discount code on their next order, a product guide, and even high-quality pictures of the product in the posting. Any one of these options will elevate your product. Take the time and consider how you can take your product to the next level. If you need to get fired up about your business or just life - you’ve come to the right place! You know Scott is ready to deliver on some great answers to questions from TAS followers like you. On this episode of The Amazing Seller, Scott shares some personal insights and stories, addresses hijacked product listings, keyword optimization for multiple listings, and so much more! This is the way you want to wrap up your week and go into the weekend ready to TAKE ACTION!  The healthy practice of graditude What are some of the daily habits you practice? Maybe for you, it’s going and grinding coffee first thing in the morning. Or maybe it's getting the kids dressed and ready for school. Beyond the ordinary, do you have daily habits that center you? Do you have a rhythm that brings you focus and purpose? On this episode of The Amazing Seller, Scott starts off his Ask Scott Session with some helpful advice. He’s been doing this a lot lately and you can tell that the wisdom he shares is really near and dear to his heart. This week Scott talks about the power of appreciation. It’s all about taking stock in the good that you have in your life and reflecting in gratitude. To hear Scott expand on this wisdom further, listen to this episode! Responding to a hijacked product listing It’s every Amazon sellers fear - your product listing has been hijacked. Not only that, someone has hijacked your high-quality product photos too! What are your options? What recourse do you have available? Unfortunately, there aren’t many options after this has happened. What you do have is options to prevent this from happening in the future. It’s a difficult and cumbersome process but if you’ve been burned or if you are really nervous about someone hijacking your listing and/or product images, there are resources for you. If you’d like to hear what options are available to you regarding copyright and trademarks, listen to this episode and be sure to check out the resources section at the bottom of this post! Keyword optimization for multiple product listings If you’ve been listening to Scott for very long, you know that he is a HUGE fan of diversifying and getting multiple product listings out there. You’ve heard him say that it isn’t a good idea to put all your eggs in one basket. If you’ve heeded this advice you might be in a similar situation that one of your fellow TAS followers is in. He called in and asked Scott how he should focus his efforts on keyword optimization when he has hundreds of product listings. That is a great problem to have! If you want to know the best method to using your time and resources effectively when you have such a large quantity of listings, this is the episode for you! How do you know you aren’t hijacking someone's product listing? With all the talk of listings getting hijacked and sellers losing out on hard earned projected profits, you might be wondering, how do I know I’m not hijacking someone else’s listing? If you are just getting started, it's easy to see why this can be confusing. You are trying to do good product research and break into a product category but you don’t want to be a hijacker. Good! Know the difference. When you find a category you can be competitive in - do your research. Don’t be afraid of swooping in and providing a better product and a greater value to the customers. There is nothing wrong with that. It becomes hijacking when you deliberately sell the exact same product that someone else is selling. To hear Scott expand on these differences, make sure to catch this episode of The Amazing Seller.   OUTLINE OF THIS EPISODE OF THE AMAZING SELLER [0:03] Scott’s introduction to this episode of the podcast! Today we have Wade Foster CoFounder of Zapier. Zapier gives you internet automation superpowers by making it easy to get your web apps to talk to each other. For example, I use Zapier in two ways - when someone fills out our type form application for Rise 25 it automatically imports it in Infusionsoft so we can make sure to stay in touch. Also for Inspired insider, when a blog post gets published it automatically posts the link on Twitter and Facebook. It's like having a virtual staff member focused on automation for a fraction of the price. Zapier went from zero to over 1.4 million users and grew to 50 staff in five years. Here’s a glimpse of what you’ll learn: [0:55] Jeremy introduces today’s guest, Wade Foster. [2:20] Wade talks about growing up in Missouri. [8:00] How did Wade fare with entrepreneurship before he started Zapier? [13:30] What were some of the sacrifices that Wade has made? [16:20] What progress was Wade seeing with Zapier that make him go full time? [17:20] How did they come up with the name Zapier? [19:00] Wade talks about work life balance. [23:50] Lessons learned from going through the Y Combinator process. [27:30] Wade talks about the progress from having no clients to having many clients. [32:00] What was it that made Wade’s presentation a success? [41:40] How does Wade approach hiring? [44:40] Wade talks about his work retreats. [50:20] What is the craziest thing someone has automated via Zapier? [52:00] Business uses for automation via Zapier. [55:40] Why did Wade decide to have free plan for Zapier? [58:40] How did Wade set the price point for their plans? [1:00:50] What was the high point and low point for Wade and Zapier? [1:04:30] Wade’s proudest moment with Zapier. [1:06:00] What products have come out of company retreats? [1:07:50] What Chrome extensions does Wade use? In this episode… How can your business benefit from automation solutions? You might be quick to point out that you don’t run Uber and you aren’t experimenting with kiosks at a fast food chain so what does automation have to do with you and your business? Wade Foster started a company called Zapier to provide automation solutions for everyday entrepreneurs and business leaders like you! On this episode of Inspired Insider, you will learn about Wade’s company and all they have to offer. You will also hear about Wade’s entrepreneurial spirit, some of his best business practices, and much more. This is a powerful episode you don’t want to miss! Some people are convinced that everyone can be an entrepreneur and some are convinced that it’s something that can’t be taught or developed, you have it or you don’t. Wade Foster doesn’t make a definitive case for either side but he tells his story of how each step was an arrival for him and his journey to become the entrepreneur and business leader he is today. Wade grew up in a culture that didn’t really instill or cultivate an entrepreneurial spirit. But Wade kept finding himself pushing for more and more opportunities to prove his capabilities. From early on he couldn’t shake the idea that you get paid for the value you create. This drive led to Wade eventually starting his own business, Zapier. Success can feel like it is an elusive target when you are building a company from the ground up. You find yourself waiting, hoping, and stressing for something that feels like you have no control over. Then after all that effort, success starts to grow and blossom from all the plans you’ve put in place. This is the moment entrepreneurs LIVE for. On this episode of Inspired Insider, Jeremy talks with business leader Wade Foster. Wade started the company Zapier and after months and months of effort, he started to see his company take off. The networking relationships played a key role in convincing Wade that it was time to go all in and focus all of his energy and time into this new startup. Make sure to catch this episode for more of Wade’s story! Have you ever had a moment in your work day when you wish you could just press a button to send a report or to have a task begin? Automation is getting a lot of buzz in the business sector right now from self-driving cars, to fast food kiosks, and so much more! Wade Foster started Zapier as an extension of his engineering background. He loves the solutions that his business is able to come up with that saves business leaders time and energy so they can maximize profits. If you haven’t heard of Zapier, you’ve got to check them out. Zapier moves info between your web apps automatically, so you can focus on your most important work. The tools they offer might be just the thing you need to take your business to the next level of success. What advantage can you gain from giving your product away for free? Is this a good strategy? Wade Foster and his company Zapier didn’t start with a free version of their product but they decided to offer one for marketing purposes. It makes sense to them because a lot of applications they were interfacing with offer free plans too. They also found that people were more likely to talks about and promote Zapier if it had a free plan that people could start using with no risk right away. To hear more about Wade’s decision to offer a free plan and the lessons you can take away, listen to this episode of Inspired Insider. Well-Weight Wisdom Podcast: Lose the diet and Love yourself instead!

Well-Weight-Wisdom 2-Minute-Tip on Resetting your Resolutions We all make new year's resolutions, but sadly, many of us don't stick to them because we tend to overwhelm ourselves by biting off more than we can chew. Too much too soon!  I always plan to ease into mine with a weekly plan and a schedule. If I don't do everything I set out to do one week, I do it the next and I highly recommend taking on one thing at a time. Choose one thing to add to your schedule each week. And most importantly, IMPROVISE if you have to!   Here are some examples: WEEK # 1 - RESOLUTION: To go to more enriching events this year. My goal is one per week. IMPROVISATION: If I skip one, I will watch or attend an online training instead. EASE INTO IT: I started doing this the first week of January! WEEK #2 RESOLUTION:  Finding additional coaches and holistic practitioners to focus on my self-care.  To accomplish this, I am making sure that I do one thing per week to pamper and treat myself such as get a massage or facial at the local beauty academy. IMPROVISATION: If I don't seek out someone, I treat myself to a beauty or holistic routine at home or something as simple as a 10 minute meditation will do it!  EASE INTO IT:  I added this the second week of January. WEEK #3 RESOLUTION:  To do four days of cardio per week instead of only two or three... which is still great too!IMPROVISATION: If I can't make it to the gym, I'll try to use the small fitness facility in my building or do a DVD routine in my living room.  I always try to do Yoga once a week or so and that counts!EASE INTO IT:  This was added to my schedule the third week of January. Read & Watch more below... Well-Weight-Wisdom 2-Minute-Tip cont'd... So, you can probably see what I am getting at here, right? Incorporate only one thing at a time and work up to the habits that will help you feel better in your body and be better in your life! One of the reasons I separated my Leaner Ladies® Weight Program out into smaller programs is so that well-weight success can be accomplished in stages - all with noticeable wellness and weight loss results. My Gentle Detox Protocol, for instance, is a 5-day easy cleanse. The Two-Week Transform is a more intense 14-day regimen. Then there is my Weight Loss Freedom Formula, a 3-week create new habits protocol. So as you reflect on your resolutions, opt to reset in a positive way and know that you can be successful by taking on or adding one thing at a time so you don't overwhelm yourself or set yourself up for failure.
