„Valerie“ und „While you see a chance“ wurden Hits, Steve Winwood hatte sich neu und verändert präsentiert. 2008年,随着Jazzanova Live Band的成立,情况发生了变化,与他们的第二张录音室专辑《Of All The Things》相吻合。 Jazzanova Live Band在Little Big Beat Studios录制,为《That Night》、《No Use》和《Days To Come》等永恒的曲目注入了新鲜能量。

Die Baha Men fragten im Jahr 2000 schon: Who Let The Dogs Out? Eye of a Tiger für Ariel. Einfach so. Wer will schon erfolgreich scheitern. Sachen gibts. Take tomorrow of - don't be a hero ! Live im Konzert Vulfspack. Mega. Made me smile. Feedback Mel B. Wort des Tage i Bärndütsch. Gholleiet. Weibliche Diktatoren nenn man in Alt Deutsch wohl Ehefrauen? Frauenfeindlich. Ok der Satz kann weg? Ja! Delete ! Ich könnte ja so ein Buch schreiben. Sehe das auch schon als Beststeller. Titel : gelöschte Sätze ! Das Bestellformular? Lieber doch an Orgasmus wa Sarkasmus? A lüeg jetzuuu - die hät appa äu so nä Bikini. Ja was hittu als Mode isch. Furchtbar fruchtbar. Hündinnen sind ja dann läufig? Das hatten wir schon? In welcher Sendung? Sorry. Interesse? Titel? Kreativität kennt keine Panik. Hier oben wächst in jedem Garten Minze. Am Old Alpine Nordic Walking Stick? Am Haken des Abschleppwagens? Ever wonder what it's like to step on stage for the first time with shaky knees and a guitar in hand? I sure do, and that's exactly what I dive into in our latest podcast. Take a walk with me, Steve, through the trials and laughs of my early music days, from those first awkward moments trying to look cool in front of an audience to the polished poise of later performances. The stage can be unforgiving, but it's also where the magic happens—join me as I share stories of hair swings gone wrong, and the transformative power of playing regularly with a band that turns a group of musicians into a tight-knit family. It's not all laughs and guitar solos though. This episode is also a treasure trove of advice for musicians aiming to strike the right chord in the industry. I get real about the blend of musicianship and interpersonal skills that can make or break a band, drawing from years of experience to highlight why showing up on time with a good attitude can be just as important as nailing that solo. From the raw energy of the Foo Fighters' stage charisma to the fine line between authenticity and performance, I lay it all out for anyone looking to make a mark with their music. So, plug in, tune up, and get ready for a heart-to-heart on what it really takes to thrive on the music scene.Tune in now and learn more!Links:Steve's Channel → https://www.youtube.com/user/stinemus... GuitarZoom Channel → https://www.youtube.com/user/guitarz0... Songs Channel → https://www.youtube.com/user/GuitarSo... . Check out Steve's Guitar Membership and Courses: https://bit.ly/3rbZ3He

The all-ages audience was already familiar with their music, evident from the enthusiastic singalongs to favorites like "Daytime TV." Dear Seattle set the stage for an electrifying evening. Ruby Fields: A Charismatic Dream Come True The spotlight then turned to Ruby Fields, who proved herself to be an exceptionally charismatic performer. Her band's tight chemistry coupled with her magnetic presence held the audience in the palm of her hand. As she confessed that performing at the Enmore Theatre was a dream come true, the crowd cheered in support. Ruby's live renditions of hits such as "Dinosaurs," "Ritalin," and "Song About A Boy" transcended the studio versions, leaving fans in awe of her talent and energy. Hockey Dad: Surf Rock Infused Anthems That Soared Taking the stage as the night's headliner, Hockey Dad faced the challenge of following two remarkable acts. However, they did so with finesse and style, delivering their signature surf rock-infused anthems that had the crowd singing along to every word. Tracks like "Join The Club" sent the energy levels soaring, raising the Enmore Theatre's roof to new heights. When Ruby Fields joined them onstage for a memorable collaboration, the night reached its pinnacle of euphoria. A Massive Success: The Hockey Fields Tour The combination of Ruby Fields and Hockey Dad proved to be an absolute hit. The Hockey Fields tour exemplified the vibrancy and creativity that continues to define the indie rock scene in Australia. From the mesmerizing performances to the heartwarming connection with the audience, it was evident that the night was a tremendous success for both artists and the fans. TLDRAs Chris reported from the Enmore Theatre, the Hockey Fields tour showcased the vitality of indie rock in Australia. From Dear Seattle's anthemic openers to Ruby Fields' charismatic dreams fulfilled, and Hockey Dad's roof-raising surf rock anthems, it was an evening filled with passion and talent. This event is a testament to the thriving music scene in the country and an exciting indication that great young live bands are still being produced in Australia.MORE DETAILS: https://articles.listnr.com/music/hockey-fields-review/See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Like many in the creative community the band's career was put into neutral during the pandemic, but they are back on the road this summer (2023) with a new album 'Chris Black Changed My Life'.

What a delight to be joined by another huge talent - the Singer, Songwriter & Musician, Edgar Jones for this episode of The Paul Weller Fan Podcast... Also known as Edgar 'Summertyme' Jones, his musical path began in the early 90s, as frontman and founder of Liverpool band The Stairs, championed by the likes of Elvis Costello and signed to Go! Discs, then also the home of future collaborators Paul Weller and The La's. His other bands include The Isrites, The Big Kids, Edgar Jones & The Joneses and Free Peace. His 2005 solo album Soothing Music For Stray Cats was released to critical acclaim with Noel Gallagher commenting "It bent my head, man. It's probably one of the best records I have ever heard" and Mojo Magazine labelling it "A stunning collection of rock'n'roll, jazz, R&B and doo wop". Edgar has also played and toured with artists including Ian McCulloch, Saint Etienne and Ocean Colour Scene and of course, our podcast subject - Paul Weller. Edgar joined the Weller band to play bass for the Heliocentric tour in 2000 - including a very special performance at London's Royal Albert Hall - which featured Steve White and Steve Cradock, along with Edgar on bass and Chris Holland on keyboards. Legendary arranger, Robert Kirby also conducted a stunning 16-piece string orchestra, which accompanied the band on most songs. The performance was released as a 90-minute filmed performance on DVD. Edgar was also part of the band for the Jools Holland Lennon Special and a recording for The Who Tribute album... "You see, what had happened was..."I'm from Ennis, Texas. The Neel and Getzendaner sides of my family helped settled Ellis County, and the Templetons and Atwoods were in Ennis before it was a town. Given the lofty expectations that came along with that, I gotta say I reckon I've been somewhat of a disappointment. Fast forward to the summer of 1980, when you could find me at a few different songwriter haunts in the Lower Greenville area of Dallas, watching, learning, listening, and playing my own compositions (which frankly weren't that great back then), and zeroing in on what I wanted my life's work to be, without a clue how to make that happen. I'm still kinda clueless about how to do that, honestly. At that time it was called folk music, because that was the catch-all genre before "Americana" was invented. I spent the next seven years doing this type of thing, as well as serving as a sideman, rhythm guitarist/ background vocalist in a number of country bands, and fronting one of my own. I learned lessons from every one of those experiences; some of them good, all of them necessary. In 1987 I was recruited to sing "hair metal," though that ain't what we called it then, by a band my brother was playing drums for. Over the next 10 years I fronted two successful, fun bands during the halcyon days of the Dallas Metal Scene, paled around with those Abbott boys, and Dave Williams, (RIP to all three), opened for many of the platinum selling artists of the genre across Texas, and was certain I was gonna be a rockstar. I was wrong, obviously, but I sure had a lot of fun. And I'm still around to talk about it, so there's that. In 1999 I took a job in the Texas Hill Country in a small town where I knew no one, to get my then 3-yr old out of the gang infested area of DFW we were living in, to give her a "hometown" to grow up in, and to heal from a busted marriage. Music got placed on the back burner for the next several years, though you could find me on a stage in Austin now and then singing a couple of tunes with a friend's band, or shamelessly showing off at local karaoke, or showing up somewhere in the Hill Country with a guitar hoping to sit in here and there. I was doing what I thought I was supposed to. Music was replaced by various hobbies and bad habits. In 2006 I started actively writing songs again, and in 2008 I walked into Timbre Lodge Studios and began work on my first, full-length record under my own name, titled How Country, which was released in late 2009. That album brought me lifelong music family relationships that hold up to this day, and garnered me the 2010 Texas Music Award for Rising Star of the Year (a title that my mom enjoyed ribbing me about at my advanced age, compared to the normally more youthful artists that award was given to). In 2011, my friend and co-writer Heath Childs and I released Atwood-Childs Trading Pains, also recorded at Timbre Lodge, a dark 14-song acoustic record of songs just like you'd expect to find, judging by the title. Notably, it included the first versions ever released of Dead Man, Anyone Listening and Home (later recorded by Brimstone), and crowd favorite Grace And Whiskey (penned by Heath). In 2012 and 2013, as Mark Allan Atwood & Brimstone, I released Burned At The Crossroads and Alive & Well, respectively, which were both recorded at Dave Perceful's famous Yellow Dog Studios, under the masterful production hand of Adam Odor. In 2013 I received the TMA for Male Vocalist of the Year (because Dave Fenley didn't make a record the year before - he'd won three years in a row, and rightly so), and in 2014 we were named Live Band of the Year (Alive & Well was a half studio/half live album). I moved from Fort Worth to South Padre Island in the first week of 2016, and immediately took up what turned into a 6-year residency at a bayside bar. In the 6.5 years since I've played over 1,000 shows on the island and by even a low guess

Listen. There's really nothing Adam and Ed love more than karaoke–that should be obvious nearly two years into this podcast. But as much as they love regular karaoke, they recognize that there's something special about one of the varieties of it–that's live band karaoke, the closest they'll ever feel to being rockstars. And they want you to be rockstars, too, which is why they talk about some of the bands and places around the country you can hit to get that rock star experience: Punk Rock Karaoke in CA (and the high seas!); Rising Star in Orlando, FL; Karaoke from Hell in Portland, Oregon; Live Band Karaoke (that's the name of the band) in Chicago, IL; and Casual Encounters in Los Angeles, CA. Check out that proper semicolon use. One of the ways the fellas celebrated Adam's bachelor party was by attending a gig done by Pittsburgh's premiere live band karaoke acts, Lead Singer Wanted, which prompted the whole idea for this episode. They talk to Tom Medvitz, founder and guitarist for the band, on what the differences are between hosting a regular karaoke gig and doing a live band karaoke gig, the way that song lists are decided, and what the karaoke scenes in Portland, OR and Pittsburgh, PA are like. As always, you can find more info on the website (https://www.sungpoorly.com), and on social media--the show is @sungpoorly on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and now even Tiktok. You can reach Adam and Ed via email by sending a message to sungpoorly@gmail.com.
