In this episode of The Bourbon Life Podcast, Matt and Mark welcome back fan-favorite guest David Mandell, Co-Founder and CEO of Whiskey House of Kentucky, for his fourth appearance on the show. Joining him for the first time is Ryan Poe, Distillery Senior Manager and Head of Innovation at Whiskey House of Kentucky, making not only his Bourbon Life debut, but his very first podcast appearance. The conversation begins with Ryan sharing his background and the journey that ultimately led him to Whiskey House, where innovation isn't just a buzzword - it's a core part of the company's DNA. David and Ryan discuss how Whiskey House's unique approach to contract distilling and product development allows them to tackle projects that many distilleries simply can't, while also navigating the challenges facing today's whiskey market. The discussion then turns to one of the most exciting and ambitious spirits projects to hit the market in recent years: SHANG Whiskey. David and Ryan take listeners behind the scenes of this groundbreaking collaboration between Maritime Brands, True Essence Foods, Guìzhōu Guótái Shùzhì Liquor Group, Whiskey House, and The Blending House. They explore the rich history of Jiang Xiang Baijiu in China, the remarkably complex process used to produce it, and how that centuries-old tradition became the foundation for an entirely new whiskey category. Listeners will also get an inside look at the creation of SHANG East + West, a first-of-its-kind whiskey that blends American red sorghum whiskey developed by Whiskey House with Jiang Xiang Baijiu, creating a truly unique expression that bridges Eastern and Western distilling traditions. And, of course, no episode of The Bourbon Life would be complete without a tasting. Matt, Mark, David, and Ryan sip and review three exceptional pours, including E.H. Taylor Single Barrel in honor of Ryan's time at Buffalo Trace, along with the brand-new SHANG Dan Yu Whiskey and SHANG East + West Whiskey. Whether you're fascinated by innovation, curious about the future of whiskey, or simply looking to learn about one of the most unique spirits projects ever brought to market, this episode offers a rare behind-the-scenes look at creativity, collaboration, and category creation in the whiskey world. Send us Fan MailBourbon Basics: Three Young Guys Enter the Bourbon World — and Nothing Goes as ExpectedMy son Ian and his two best friends Bryant and Evan are 25 years old. They've been drinking bourbon for about two years. And when I started asking them what they actually knew about it… well, let's just say we had some work to do.In this episode of Bottles & Bites Without Borders, we sit down for a full bourbon education — covering everything from distillery profiles and mashbills to wheated bourbons, high rye, single barrel, small batch, and full proof expressions. The guys ask the questions that most beginners are afraid to ask, and we keep it real, fun, and completely unpretentious. Then comes the real test. I poured five bourbons completely blind — no labels, no hints — and had Ian, Bryant, and Evan nose, sip, and rank every single one. The conversation is honest, the reactions are unfiltered, and the reveal at the end left everybody surprised. If you're new to bourbon, this episode is your starting point. If you've been in the game for a while, sit back and enjoy watching three guys discover what's actually in their glass for the very first time.Pull up a chair. Pour something good. Class is in session.
Before bourbon hunting, whiskey influencers, and seemingly endless craft distillery openings, there were a handful of people willing to take a chance on an industry that barely existed.Phil Prichard was one of them.In this episode of Whiskey Rocks, Joel and Chris sit down with Phil Prichard, founder of Prichard's Distillery, to talk about building a craft whiskey brand long before craft whiskey was cool. From the early days of opening a distillery in Tennessee to navigating an industry that was still finding its footing, Phil shares stories, lessons, and the mindset that helped him turn a bold idea into one of the pioneering names in American craft spirits.Along the way, the conversation explores Tennessee whiskey, pot still distillation, the evolution of the whiskey industry, and what it's like watching today's boom through the eyes of someone who helped lay the foundation for it. Phil also reflects on the challenges of entrepreneurship, the importance of doing things your own way, and why some of the best decisions in life look a little crazy at first.Plus, Joel and Chris review Prichard's Tennessee Whiskey (86 Proof), compare it to classic rock albums, and put Phil through the Whiskey Rocks Lightning Round covering music, whiskey myths, time machines, and the wild ride of building a distillery before anyone knew if the craft whiskey movement would survive.Pour a dram, turn up the music, and join us for a conversation with one of the true pioneers of modern American craft whiskey.Whiskey Rocks. This week on The Whiskey Trip Podcast, Big Chief returns to Arvada, Colorado, for his third visit with Patrick Miller, founder and distiller of Talnua Distillery and a pioneer of American Single Pot Still Whiskey. Patrick shares updates on Talnua's continued growth and his mission to bring this historic Irish whiskey style into the American whiskey landscape while embracing Colorado craftsmanship and innovation. On the first half of the show, the guys sip Talnua's Bourbon Cask & Stave Series Bottled-in-Bond American Single Pot Still Whiskey, aged a minimum of four years in ex-bourbon casks with charred American white oak staves, followed by their American White Oak Cask Bottled-in-Bond expression, aged four years in first-fill charred American white oak casks. Both are bottled at 100 proof and showcase the rich, grain-forward character that defines Talnua. On the second half, they pour the Sherry Cask Bottled-in-Bond American Single Pot Still Whiskey before diving into the 2026 Olde Saint's Keep Special Release, a unique collaboration finished in six different casks sourced from fellow Colorado distilleries. The show closes with Talnua's newest Single Barrel selection for Bluegrass Lounge and Hazel's Beverage World, bottled at a robust 116.7 proof and aged in a former Elijah Craig barrel. From tradition to innovation, this episode highlights why Talnua remains one of the most unique and respected craft distilleries in America. Pour a glass and Take the Ride with Big Chief. Cheers.

Send us Fan MailWe hang out with Dave Bob from Lexington Brewing & Distilling and get a guided walk through Town Branch, from the visitor center that feels like an Irish street to the barrels that shape everything. Along the way we taste through beers, bourbons and American single malts and end up stunned by a single barrel with raspberry, vanilla and butter notes we can't stop talking about. • what it feels like to arrive at Town Branch and start a tour • Pierce Lyons' Irish roots, yeast legacy and why it still matters • how Bourbonola went from Prohibition story to 12% RTD • why the brewery and distillery combo changes the tasting experience • beer highlights including Kentucky Bourbon Barrel Ale and vanilla barrel cream ale • the barrel thieving tour and why tasting from the barrel hits different • the core whiskey lineup from 90 proof bourbon to True Cask batches • Overproof 104 as a bartender-focused blend for cocktails at home • a live barrel pick on air and the single malt that steals the show • what we want to see next in Ohio distribution and upcoming releases make sure that you leave good feedback, become subscriber, member, top shelf on on uh YouTube Drink responsibly don't drink and drive You can learn a lot about bourbon from a label, but you learn a lot more when someone who lives in the rickhouse walks you through it. We sit down with Dave Bob from Lexington Brewing & Distilling and let him take us inside Town Branch, a true brewery-distillery that feels equal parts Kentucky Bourbon Trail stop and Irish whiskey hideaway. From the moment you step into the visitor center, the place is built for discovery and Dave explains why that “experience design” is just as intentional as what goes into the barrel. We dig into the Pierce Lyons story, the Irish roots behind Town Branch, and the yeast-driven mindset that shaped everything from their American single malt whiskey to their Kentucky straight bourbon. Then we go deep on Bourbonola: how a Prohibition-era idea became a modern 12% ready-to-drink bourbon cola, why the team built a custom cherry cola flavor to match their whiskey, and what makes it stand apart from the usual canned collabs. The night turns into a live barrel pick, tasting multiple single malt and bourbon samples on air. We talk True Cask (their cask strength bourbon batches), Overproof 104 for cocktails, the barrel thieving tour, and the rare moment when a single barrel stops the conversation cold with notes like raspberry, vanilla icing and butter. If you care about barrel picks, Lexington bourbon tours, American single malt, or finding the best value cask strength bourbon, this one is for you. Megan Hoogland: Art, Identity, and the Evolution of Tattoo CultureIn this episode of the Get Deep Podcast, we sit down with Megan Hoogland, nationally recognized tattoo artist and owner of Mecca Tattoo in Mankato, for a conversation about artistry, identity, and building a career in an industry that transformed dramatically around her.Megan shares her early entry into tattooing while still living in Waseca and reflects on what it was like coming up during the era when tattoos shifted from taboo and counterculture into mainstream self-expression. Over the years, her work has earned recognition in major industry magazines and built relationships with artists and creatives across the country—connections that continue to shape both her art and her perspective today. We also dive into the deeply personal side of tattooing: the trust between artist and client, the stories people carry into the chair, and the moments that stay with you long after the ink heals. Megan talks about her newfound passion for “blasting over,” the evolution of her artistic style, and the creative freedom that comes with decades in the industry.Of course, we also had to ask about the most awkward tattoo she's ever given.Beyond the art itself, Megan discusses the community-focused work she's involved in, the culture she's built at Mecca Tattoo, and what keeps her creatively inspired after all these years. This is a conversation about reinvention, craftsmanship, human connection, and what it means to leave a permanent mark—both artistically and personally.
On this special live episode of Holyrood Sources: Calum Macdonald, Geoff Aberdein and Andy Maciver are joined by MSPs, journalists and backroom staff at the Edinburgh Gin Distillery, a stone's throw from The Scottish Parliament. They are joined by three brand new MSPs from the three biggest parties at Holyrood to discuss what the next five years could bring: Katherine Sangster from Scottish Labour, Reform UK Scotland Leader Malcolm Offord and former SNP Westminster Leader Stephen Flynn. What does the future hold for Anas Sarwar and Keir Starmer? Can either survive after devastating results across the UK and in Scotland. Will Reform be the foxes in the hen house... are they as cunning as they make out to be? How does the SNP actually get stuff done, and how does Stephen Flynn live up to his promise as a "champion" of Aberdeen's oil and gas industry. In this Down Under conversation with James Young of Old Young's Distillery, some of the topics we discuss include: The influence and defining characteristics of the Australian cocktail scene, which differs starkly from what you might find when you travel to Europe and is responsible for such mixological gifts as Mr. Black Coffee liqueur and the butterfly pea coloring craze. How to plan your travel itinerary around tasting delicious spirits in every state in Australia, including whisky in Tasmania, Gin & Brandy in Western Australia, and rum up in Queensland and Kununurra. The growing interest in distilling brandy using Australian grapes and aging it in local casks. This leads us down a number of interesting rabbit holes concerning grape varietals, process and maturation requirements, and even the importance of Australian dessert and fortified wines. Through this entire conversation, you'll be able to trace an underlying thread of quality, which seems to be a cultural hallmark that unifies the diverse flavors and landscapes that you encounter in the agriculture, spirits, and cocktails of Australia. Along the way, we muse on antipodean oddities like: why all white rum in Australia is technically cristallino, what the brandy distillers of the world could learn from Pisco, why you should be drinking gingin gin with Jim, and much, much more Chapters (00:00) Introduction (04:45) Australian Cocktail Trends (07:23) Distillery Destinations in Australia (13:47) The Rise of Australian Brandy (18:00) The Story of Gingin Gin (19:51) Standards of Identity through Production Rules (25:15) Australia as a Culture of Quality (27:59) Australian Brandy Grape Varietals (32:07) Conclusion
When it comes to Scottish distilleries with whiskies that match the landscape, Talisker is one of my favorite examples: sea and smoke. For the longest time, as the sole distillery on the Isle of Skye, it served as the perfect punctuation mark on any trip to the island. Seemingly isolated along the shore of Loch Harport in the small village of Carbost, it built quite a reputation around the world as early as the 1800s. Today, I'll dive into Talisker's history with Diageo's Head of Rare & Luxury Whisky, Ewan Morgan. We'll start at the distillery's origins, and you'll be among the first to hear about a distilling technique once used at the distillery, but forgotten by time. We'll talk about the influence of the distillery's worm tubs on the whisky and find out what special ingredient they use inside those worm tubs. Then I get a special treat. We'll dive into the world of long-aged whisky and discuss how to nose, taste, collect, and preserve rare bottles. Along the way, we taste Talisker's remarkable 30-year-old, 45-year-old, and 47-year-old whiskies and talk about what happens to a spirit after decades inside a cask. If you're a fan of Scotch, this is a deep dive you won't want to miss. Catch an extended version of the episode as a member of the Whiskey Lore family at patreon.com/whiskeylore
Send us Fan MailWe set up inside High Bank's barrel-filled war room and taste Whiskey War through a full brunch pairing that changes what we smell, taste, and remember. We also break down how blending, proof, and finishing choices shape a bottle, plus why the restaurant experience matters as much as the whiskey.• quick intros with Tony, Dylan, James, and chef Eric at the Grandview location• why a distillery restaurant and great cocktails drive repeat visits• the three High Bank locations and how each vibe stays unique• the speakeasy trend as an “escape” experience for whiskey fans• how Whiskey War is blended for taste, affordability, and availability• why blending has shifted from hiding flaws to building quality• pairing 88 proof Whiskey War with burrata, peach jam, and balsamic• stepping up to barrel proof with chorizo rangoons and spicy ranch• what double oaking changes and why it works with berry pancakes• pairing hot honey chicken biscuits with Double Double releases• how Amburana finishing works, why it moves fast, and how they control it• favorite pairings and what we'd want to try nextYou can find us at uh sealbox.com or website, highbankdistillery.com.Brunch food that actually makes whiskey taste different is rare, and we build a full lineup to prove it from the barrel house at High Bank Distillery in Columbus, Ohio. Sitting in their “war room” surrounded by barrels, we talk with the team behind Whiskey War and walk through how a distillery can turn tasting into a real experience, not just a drink at the bar.We dig into what makes Whiskey War work as a modern blend, why consistency and affordability matter, and how today's whiskey market is changing what's possible at the same price point. Then we get hands-on with proof and process: regular Whiskey War versus barrel proof, what double oaked releases add, and why “double double” style expressions keep winning attention. Along the way we hit the bigger debates that whiskey fans love, including blending for quality, the rise of finished whiskey, and how a brand can experiment without losing its core profile. The food pairing is the centerpiece: burrata with peach jam and balsamic, chorizo rangoons with spice, berry pancakes that unlock vanilla and syrup notes in double oaked whiskey, and a hot honey chicken biscuit that shows how oak and proof can mellow heat while amplifying depth. We also talk speakeasy culture, High Bank's three locations (Grandview, Gahanna, Westerville), and the kind of hospitality that keeps people coming back.If you love whiskey tasting, bourbon blending, barrel proof releases, double oaked whiskey, and smart whiskey and food pairing ideas, hit play. Send us Fan MailWe hand Watershed the keys and let Ryan Venrick run our first distillery-led blind tasting, and we learn fast that we're not as good at guessing as we think. The reveals turn into a real lesson on slow water reduction, finishing choices, and how Watershed is reshaping Ohio bourbon from the barrel up. • Ryan's career path from bottling line to blending and barrel management • Why Watershed's bourbon portfolio changed after the mash bill shift • Blind tasting format and why pairing samples exposes process differences • Apple brandy finish side-by-side with crash dilution vs slow reduction • How slow water reduction affects mouthfeel, perceived proof, and flavor • Bottled-in-bond vs toasted bourbon and what “toasted” is meant to add • Uncut Unfiltered Batch 7 reveal and why proof placement matters in tastings • Nochino finished bourbon and the labor of harvesting unripe walnuts • The elevage program and why only a small number of distilleries do it • Watershed closing the restaurant and building new on-site experiences • What's coming next: OHLQ single barrels, fall finishes, maple finale, Japan tease • Blending philosophy: start with a base then shape with “one trick pony” barrels www dot scotchyburbonboys.com for all things scotchy bourbon boys make sure you check us out we've got glenn's we've got t-shirts we've got bourbon balls and then make sure you follow us on facebook instagram youtube and axon along with apple iheart and spotify and anywhere else you listen or watch us no matter what make sure you leave good feedback become a member definitely support us in any way that you can and support the brands that we bring on like when you see these brands support them support ohio support whoever it is but because support them because good bourbon equals good friends and good times don't drink and drive drink responsibly and live your life uncut and unfiltered Crash dilute or slow reduce, can you actually taste the difference? We bring on Ryan from Watershed and hand him full control of a five-pour blind tasting built to show where Watershed has been and where their bourbon is headed. The curveball: two glasses are the exact same apple brandy finished whiskey at the exact same proof, but diluted two different ways. Once you hear what's happening in those barrels, you'll never think about proofing water the same way again. From there we work through the lineup and put names to what our palates are telling us: a core Bottled-in-Bond, a limited toasted bourbon done with a short, targeted finish, and a final punchy reveal that lands at 123 proof with Uncut Unfiltered Batch 7. Along the way we get into the real “why” behind mouthfeel, perceived heat, oak extraction, and how slow water reduction can preserve flavor compounds and create a more cohesive pour. If you love blind tastings, barrel finishes, and nerdy whiskey process talk that stays practical, this one delivers. We also zoom out to the bigger story of Ohio whiskey. Ryan shares how Watershed is building an elevage-style program, why scaling techniques like slow reduction is hard, and what's next as they invest in better visitor experiences like a blending class and a bottle-your-own option. Welcome back to a former guest, John Campbell, who we met back in Interview 63 when we chronicled his 27 years at the legendary Laphroaig Distillery on Islay. Back then, he was taking on the challenge of making Lowland Scotch at Lochlea. Today, he's making an even bigger jump, leaving the island of malt whisky for a chance to make California Bourbon. There are few who have made the modern journey from Scotland to America, so today's interview affords me the great opportunity to pepper John with questions about the move to Sespe Creek in Oxnard, California. John will discuss the personal and professional changes involved in moving from Laphroaig to a distillery making mesquite-smoked Bourbon, vodka, and rum. He'll reveal the reason he was approached for the COO and Master Distiller position, and we'll talk about making Bourbon in pot stills, his five-year plan, and capturing the brand's "Southwest" identity in a spirit. Send us Fan MailWe cross borders for a Cinco de Mayo pour that rewrites what whiskey can be when the grain, the place, and the people drive the process. With Sierra Norte's Doug French, importer Bob Murphy, and our Whiskey Doctor Randy Ford, we dig into rainbow corn whiskey, heritage agriculture, and how Oaxaca shapes flavor from seed to barrel.• why Sierra Norte moves from mezcal into 100% corn whiskey as a way to use and protect native Oaxacan corn • how reviving endangered corn varieties supports farmers, creates local jobs, and builds community pride • what “rainbow corn” means and why different corn colours create distinct whiskey flavour profiles • Oaxaca farming realities, rainy-season growing, drought risk, and traditional corn-beans-squash planting • pot still distillation, open-air fermentation with wild yeast, and why slow distilling keeps grain character • barrel strategy with used French oak wine barrels, re-charring, and managing accelerated aging in warm climates • how Mexican whiskey fits into a crowded US market and a Mexico market that still leans toward tequila, mezcal, and Scotch www.scotchybourbonboys.com for all things scotchy bourbon boys. Make sure you check out all of our whiskey. No matter whether you listen to us or watch us, make sure that you leave us good feedback, become members.Mexico doesn't just make tequila and mezcal. We sit down with Doug French of Sierra Norte in Oaxaca, plus importer and distributor Bob Murphy and our own Whiskey Doctor Randy Ford, to unpack a whiskey story built on native corn, hard farming realities, and a distilling philosophy that keeps the grain doing the talking. If you've ever assumed “real whiskey” starts and ends in Kentucky, this one challenges that fast.We get into what makes Sierra Norte's corn whiskeys so distinctive: single-varietal expressions made from different colours of native corn, plus the wild-sounding “rainbow corn whiskey” created from multicoloured kernels that can't be cleanly sorted. Along the way we talk terroir in plain terms: Oaxaca's water scarcity, rainy-season growing, drought risk, and the traditional corn-beans-squash approach that helps fields stay productive. The bigger takeaway is that heritage agriculture and craft spirits can reinforce each other when the market rewards farmers for keeping rare seeds alive. Then we go inside the build: pot still distillation, open-air fermentation with natural yeast, and aging choices designed for balance rather than heavy wood. Doug explains how used French oak wine barrels, re-charring, and careful barrel management can shape a corn-forward whiskey in a warmer climate where aging can move faster. We also touch the business side of world whiskey, from the oversupplied US market to why whiskey remains a smaller category inside Mexico, and how distribution and online shipping help niche bottles find the right drinkers. If you're curious about Mexican whiskey, corn varietals, and what “Whiskey Without Borders” really tastes like, press play, share this with a whiskey friend, and leave us a review so more people can find the show. Brandon McCraney, the owner and master blender of Old Raleigh Distillery in Zebulon, North Carolina. Brandon details his diverse career journey. from working in hospitality during college to serving as an Air Force officer and a corporate executive—before a pivotal "failure" to secure a VP role led him to pursue his passion for bourbon. He describes the grueling four-year process of opening his distillery, which involved navigating the intense regulations of the spirits industry, facing twelve bank rejections, and eventually emptying his 401k to open during the COVID-19 pandemic. Central to Brandon's leadership philosophy is the concept of "Extreme Ownership," where he takes full responsibility for team outcomes to create better protocols rather than placing blame. He also explains his strategic decision to focus on the art of blending over traditional distillation, allowing for greater creative freedom and the ability to master his craft through high-volume experimentation . Ultimately, Brandon attributes the distillery's success and its hundreds of five-star reviews to his team's ability to flourish within established "field goal posts" of autonomy.10 Key TakeawaysHospitality Roots: Early restaurant work provides a critical foundation for understanding the "grind" and the value of immediate customer feedback.Failure as Redirection: Missing out on a high-level corporate title can be the catalyst needed to transition into entrepreneurship.Due Diligence is Mandatory: Success in highly regulated industries like spirits requires extensive upfront education on "the red tape".Persistence Pays Off: Securing funding may require dozens of attempts; Brandon was rejected 12 times before finding a lender.Legislative Pivots: Staying informed on local laws can reveal new revenue streams, such as the shift in North Carolina allowing distilleries to operate as full bars .Extreme Ownership Mindset: Leaders stay in control when they analyze their own role in a team's mistakes instead of blaming staff.Distilling vs. Blending: Identifying the difference between a manufacturing process (distilling) and an art form (blending) helps clarify a brand's unique passion. The "Field Goal Post" Management Style: Providing clear boundaries (field goal posts) while allowing autonomy within them empowers employees to make confident decisions .Mastery Through Repetition: Achieving mastery requires "putting in the reps"; Brandon blends nearly 20 times more products annually than traditional large brands to sharpen his palate .Trusting the Team: To scale a business, owners must "let go" and provide a foundation where staff can flourish independently.
Legend has it that in the late 1800s, a man named Paul Jones Jr. fell head over heels for a Southern belle. Ireland Golf Trips Beyond the Big Names Ireland is packed with iconic courses—Ballybunion, Lahinch, Royal County Down—but building an entire trip around only those names can mean higher costs, tighter schedules, and less connection to the place you are. Why lesser-known Irish golf courses deserve a spot on your itinerary Blending a couple of marquee courses with smaller, lesser-known clubs creates a more balanced trip. These courses often sit in equally stunning locations, but with more flexibility, easier tee times, and a welcoming, local feel. Travelers might find themselves chatting with members in the clubhouse, sharing stories over a pint, or even playing alongside locals. That's where the experience shifts – from simply playing great golf to actually feeling part of the place. The local experience: golf as part of Irish community life At smaller clubs, golf isn't just a visitor activity, it's woven into daily life. You'll see regulars out for their weekly rounds, families involved in running the club, and a slower, more relaxed pace that invites you to linger. Instead of rushing from one course to the next, these experiences encourage travelers to: Spend time in the clubhouse Talk with locals about the area Enjoy the rhythm of the community For many visitors, this is the Ireland they came to find. Where to slow down: the northwest of Ireland For travelers looking to escape the busiest routes, the northwest—Donegal, Sligo, and Mayo—offers incredible golf with fewer crowds. This region delivers: Rugged coastal landscapes Classic links courses along the sea Quiet towns and villages perfect for unwinding Courses to explore include: Carne Golf Links (Mayo) Enniscrone Golf Club (Sligo) Narin & Portnoo (Donegal) Ballyliffin Golf Club (Donegal) Rosapenna Golf Resort (Donegal) Pair a round with a visit to nearby distilleries like Ardara Distillery, and you've got a day that blends scenery, sport, and Irish flavor. Southwest favorites (and a must-play splurge) The southwest is busier, but still worth visiting – especially with the right mix. A few standout options: Bantry Bay Golf Club: Scenic, relaxed, and often overlooked Clonakilty Golf Club: A quirky, local favorite with character Old Head Golf Links: A dramatic, bucket-list experience perched on cliffs above the Atlantic If choosing one splurge round, Old Head delivers unforgettable views from every hole. photo credit: Old Head Golf Links Why golf and Irish whiskey make the perfect pairing Ireland's whiskey industry has seen a major revival, with more than 50 distilleries now operating across the country. Like golf, whiskey is deeply tied to place and community: Distilleries often source barley from nearby farms Many are family-run or locally rooted Visitors can experience everything from tastings to hands-on blending Combining golf with whiskey experiences creates a more rounded trip—one that reflects Ireland's traditions and culture, not just its landscapes. Tailoring the trip for golfers and non-golfers Not everyone in a group needs to golf to enjoy the journey. While some hit the fairways, others can: Take a whiskey or gin cocktail class Visit local farms or food producers Explore nearby towns, shops, and coastal walks This flexibility makes Ireland an ideal destination for mixed-interest groups. There's a lot to see between Kinsale and Killarney, and taking the time to explore it can completely change the feel of your trip.
