Have you ever wondered if hiring a coach is really worth it—or if it's just another thing you'll quit after a few weeks? In today's episode, we're breaking down exactly how to know if coaching is the right move for you right now—or if it's not the right fit yet. We'll share the most common challenges people face before seeking out support, the “green flags” that show you're ready, and the three-part readiness checklist that makes the decision clear. You'll also hear our personal experiences working with coaches and what we've learned on both sides of the process. By the end, you'll know whether coaching is the missing piece to help you move forward—or if you need a different type of support first. Tune in to finally get clarity on when coaching works, who it's for, and how it can help you stop starting over. Highlights The most common challenges people face before seeking out a coach (time, energy, motivation, knowledge, and habits). The key “green flags” that show you may be ready to work with a coach. Go For Steadiness In Chanting First, Not Taste | HG Vaisesika Dasa | 22 Aug 2025

Following the advice of Rūpa Goswāmī and Kṛṣṇa in the Bhagavad-gītā, we can understand that we have to be consistent in chanting to begin with. We must use our intelligence. Kṛṣṇa says, "Conquer the lower self by the intelligence." So, when we're clear that this is medicinal and we have to trust that the doctor is qualified, then we can practice chanting Hare Kṛṣṇa for consistency. And here are just a few points. One is being professional. Professionals show up no matter what, not when they feel like it; otherwise, that person will be fired. So, for your japa and practice of japa, go for steadiness, not taste. Be very, very patient over the years to show up for your japa based on your intelligence and practice a lot. Those who learn to play the mṛdaṅga, who mess around, who don't take a teacher, who don't practice the rudiments, end up playing a sloppy mridanga, or concocting. I mean, if they're playing devotionally, there's no harm in it, but they end up slapping it in weird ways that disturbs the kīrtana rather than help it move along. And if we don't practice carefully—and practice means correct practice—and that means practicing again and again, even if out of 16 rounds, we can only hear one mantra, at least you hear one mantra. That can change everything. But we have to be patient. We have to practice a lot and keep showing up again and again. And we have to have determination of Rukmiṇī Devī. As I mentioned yesterday, she told Kṛṣṇa (SB 10.52.44), "yasyāṅghri-paṅkaja-rajaḥ-snapanaṁ mahānto vāñchanty umā-patir ivātma-tamo-'pahatyai yarhy ambujākṣa na labheya bhavat-prasādaṁ jahyām asūn vrata-kṛśān śata-janmabhiḥ syāt" I'm prepared to do this for hundreds of lifetimes if that's required." That is sheer determination. That's sadhana bhakti. It's not, "I'm not getting enough juice. I don't feel the bhāva. Therefore, this must not work. I quit. I'll go scroll on the internet instead." Don't do that. Be very professional. Show up for your japa. Be determined. If you don't get anything, then be prepared to give up this body and start over again in the next life and do it again. That's what Rukmiṇī says. She said, "If I can't have you as my husband in this life, I'll perform such severe austerities that I'll give up my body. In my next life, I'll do it again until you consent that you're going to marry me." So we have to be like that in sādhana-bhakti. Sādhana-bhakti is not messing around. It's very serious. So the place to be really serious is with our japa. Come as a pro. Do your work, bring your lunch box, and stay for the long term. And if you do that over many, many lifetimes, then maybe hear one mantra and realize that Kṛṣṇa and his name are not different. If we have that, then we have a joyful life dedicated to chanting Hare Kṛṣṇa. ------------------------------------------------------------ To connect with His Grace Vaiśeṣika Dāsa, please visit https://www.fanthespark.com/next-steps/ask-vaisesika-dasa/ ------------------------------------------------------------ Add to your wisdom literature collection: https://iskconsv.com/book-store/ https://www.bbtacademic.com/books/ https://thefourquestionsbook.com/ ------------------------------------------------------------ Join us live on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/FanTheSpark/ Podcasts: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/sound-bhakti/id1132423868 For the latest videos, subscribe https://www.youtube.com/@FanTheSpark For the latest in SoundCloud: https://soundcloud.com/fan-the-spark ------------------------------------------------------------

Is SEO dead in 2025?No, SEO is not dead in 2025; in fact, it's more vital than ever. The perception that SEO might be obsolete often stems from a misunderstanding of what it truly encompasses. Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is fundamentally about being discoverable online. With 8.2 billion people in the world and 1.1 billion websites, and an astounding 8 to 16 billion daily searches on Google alone (with 15% being new searches every day), the act of searching for information is constant and growing. The conversation clarifies that "SEO" isn't limited to traditional search engines like Google. Platforms such as ChatGPT, Google, Reddit, TikTok, LinkedIn, Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and YouTube all function as "search engines" where content needs to be optimized to be found. Therefore, anything you do to increase your visibility on these platforms is a form of SEO. The speaker emphasizes that fancy new terms like GEO, AEO, AIO, or SXO are just "cosmetics" for the same underlying principle: making your content discoverable. The core idea is that if you're not focusing on SEO, you're missing out on crucial opportunities for people to find your website and business.2. How has AI impacted SEO, and does it replace traditional SEO efforts?AI does not replace traditional SEO; instead, it exposes and adds structure to it. AI tools and platforms like ChatGPT, Alexa, Siri, Grock, Deepseek, Meta AI, Cloud, Perplexity, and Gemini rely on information from existing traditional platforms and servers. This means that to be found by AI search engines, your content first needs to be optimized and present on these traditional sources (like Google, Bing, Yandex, etc.).The speaker highlights that AI search engines respond based on information given from a "source." If you are not optimizing your original content and website (the "source"), you cannot become a "resource" for AI. AI is looking for well-structured, authoritative content with clear brand citations and links. Having duplicate profiles or unverified business claims on platforms like LinkedIn, for example, can negatively impact how AI (and traditional search engines) perceive your online presence, making it harder for your business to be recognized and recommended. Essentially, AI leverages and amplifies the importance of a robust, well-optimized online foundation.3. What are the key elements for a strong online presence in 2025, beyond just keywords? In 2025, a strong online presence moves beyond solely focusing on keywords to prioritizing conversations, user experience, and a holistic, structured approach to content. Key elements include:Content with Purpose: Focus on "who are you talking to? Who are you serving? Why are you showing up?" Your content should address specific questions and needs, aiming for positive, neutral, or negative sentiment analysis from AI.Continuous Optimization: SEO is not a one-time fix. Websites and content need regular updates. Blogs, for instance, have a *24-month cycle*, meaning consistent updates are crucial to maintain visibility. The "last modified" timestamp is vital for algorithms.Structured Content: Turn unstructured content (like a simple blog post) into structured articles with headings, internal/external links, embedded scripts, iframes, tables, infographics, FAQs, quotes, images, alt text, and schema (microdata/rich snippets). This makes it more digestible for both humans and search engines.Platform Integration & Tokenization: Your website should be connected to all relevant online platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, podcasts, etc.). When a page is updated, it gets "tokenized" (duplicated) across various search engines and platforms (Google, Yahoo, DuckDuckGo, Brave, Bing, ChatGPT). This ensures wide distribution and recognition.Google Search Console: This is paramount. Connecting your website to Google Search Console is the "internet service provider of Google" and allows you to track impressions, clicks, and positions, providing crucial data on your marketing efforts.E-E-A-T (Experience, Expertise, Authoritativeness, Trustworthiness): Google's guideline emphasizes providing the best user experience. This means creating a well-structured, intentional, and high-quality online presence that builds trust and authority.4. Why is continuous content creation and updating crucial for SEO?Continuous content creation and updating are crucial because SEO is an ongoing process, not a one-time task. Websites need "oil changes" and "tire alignments" through new articles, blogs, and updates to remain healthy and high-performing for algorithms.Key reasons include:Content Decay: Blogs have a *24-month active cycle*. If content isn't updated within three years, its chances of sustaining visibility become slim, even with good initial content. The "last modified" timestamp on your content signals freshness and relevance to search engines.Algorithm Recognition: Search engines and AI prioritize active, recent, and updated information. Consistent updates help algorithms recognize your website as a continuously relevant and valuable source, leading to better rankings.Meeting Evolving Search Needs: Search volumes and user needs change with seasons, holidays, and emerging trends. Regularly updated content allows your business to align with these evolving search patterns.Increased Impressions and Authority: Consistently producing and updating 52 pieces of content a year can significantly boost your website's impressions and domain authority. This demonstrates expertise and a sustained commitment to providing value.Audience Retention: A continuous flow of valuable, updated content helps build an "attention map"that fosters a "retention curve," keeping your audience engaged and returning.5. How can businesses leverage diverse online platforms for SEO, and what's the role of podcasting?Businesses should leverage diverse online platforms by connecting their website as a central hub to all their social media, content, and directory listings. This creates a structured pathway for discovery and builds authority. The speaker emphasizes that platforms like LinkedIn, YouTube, Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and Reddit are all search engines in their own right.Podcasting is highlighted as an exceptionally powerful tool for several reasons:Know, Like, and Trust Factor: Podcasting is described as the fastest way for someone to "know, like, and trust" you, as it allows for a deeper, more personal connection through voice.Authoritative Content: Like blogs and books, podcasts have an author, contributing to your overall "dominant authority online."Wide Distribution and Citation: Podcasts are distributed across *30-40+ stations* (Spotify, Apple, Pandora, iHeart, Podcast Addict, Alexa), each acting as a resource. When AI (like ChatGPT) or other search engines cite a podcast link, it directly mentions your content and business.Content Repurposing: Turning podcast episodes into topical blogs (show notes with hypertext links) auto-indexes your content through servers, further increasing visibility across traditional and AI search engines.Organic Lead Generation: Podcasting can organically attract clients without needing paid ads. As demonstrated by a client who gained clients from Google and ChatGPT after starting a podcast, it builds authority that leads to organic discovery and trust.Niche-Based Search: Podcasting allows for highly niche-based content, meaning if you show up consistently, algorithms will rank and refer you to people specifically looking for your expertise.By integrating podcasts with other platforms (website, social media, email lists) and consistently producing valuable content, businesses can significantly expand their reach and establish strong online authority.6. What is the significance of "tokenization" and the "last modified" date for online content?"Tokenization" refers to the process where, every time you update or "last modify" a page on your website, that page is essentially duplicated or recognized as an individual entity that can be shown on various web platforms and search engines. For example, if your website is updated, that updated content can then appear on Google, Yahoo, DuckDuckGo, Brave, Bing, and even AI platforms like ChatGPT.The "last modified" date is a crucial signal to algorithms. Just like your phone updates its software regularly, your website content needs consistent updates. If a blog post, for instance, was published in 2022 and hasn't been updated by September 2025, the algorithm recognizes this lack of recent activity. While it might still appear online if there's no competition, its chances of sustaining visibility are slim. A recent "last modified" date indicates to search engines that the content is fresh, relevant, and actively maintained, increasing its likelihood of being found and ranked. This continuous "tokenization" of updated content across the web amplifies your digital footprint and authority.7. What is the speaker's definition of "future" and how does it relate to SEO?The speaker defines "future" based on its Latin origin, "futurist," meaning "to grow or become," and its dictionary definition as "the time or a period of time following the moment of speaking or writing; time regarded as still to come."This definition directly relates to SEO by emphasizing that every piece of content you create – whether speaking on a podcast or writing a blog post – is an act of "speaking or writing into the future." It's a proactive planning project where your current efforts manifest over time. Just as one plans to build a house with a blueprint, SEO involves strategic planning and consistent execution. Answering questions in the form of web links or podcast episodes serves as a long-term investment. The way you answer one question can lead to several more, creating a continuous flow of engagement and discovery. By actively creating content now, businesses are building an online presence that will continually attract users in the "time still to come," ensuring sustained growth and visibility.8. What essential steps should a business take to start or improve its SEO strategy, especially when seeking professional help?To effectively start or improve an SEO strategy, especially when seeking professional help, a business should take several essential steps:Establish a Foundational Online Presence: The absolute first step is to have a website, or at minimum, a domain name. A website acts as the "anchor" for your business online. Without one, you lack a central hub for discoverability and tracking.Connect to Google Search Console: This is non-negotiable. Google Search Console is the "internet service provider of Google" and allows you to track critical data like impressions, clicks, and positions, which are vital for understanding and proving SEO effectiveness.Define Goals and Strategy: Before engaging with an expert, have a clear understanding of your business goals. If you don't have an SEO strategy, bring your business plan, and a professional can help build one from there. This includes understanding who you are talking to, who you are serving, and why you are showing up.Understand Investment Levels: Be prepared for an investment. While specific figures are mentioned (starting around *$1,500/quarter*), the key is to recognize that SEO is a continuous investment, not a one-time expense, and it offers long-term gains.Prioritize Content Creation for Search Engines (and then humans): As advised, "write everything for search engines, not for you." Focus on creating content that aligns with how algorithms discover and present information. This indirectly means writing for humans as well, as search engines aim to serve relevant and valuable content to users.Embrace Multi-Platform Content: Create diverse content forms (blogs, podcasts, videos, social media posts) that answer common questions people are asking. Distribute this content across relevant platforms, ensuring interconnections (e.g., website links in podcast show notes).Be Intentional and Consistent: SEO requires active, consistent effort. Dedicate time weekly (e.g., 45 minutes a day for 45 days) or invest in professional management to consistently update and optimize your online presence. This consistency builds authority and ensures you're actively engaging with algorithms.Prepare for a Consultation: When booking a call with an SEO expert, be ready to discuss your website, business plan, and specific goals. Professionals will often audit your website, provide insights via Loom videos, and offer structured plans (quarterly, biannually, or annually) with clear communication (e.g., weekly recorded calls).Digital Marketing SEO Resources:>> Read SEO Articles>> Subscribe to the We Don't PLAY PodcastSee Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.

In a world of scarce talent and shifting work, one conference dares to reimagine how we cast our teams. On Friday, 5 September 2025, Starcircle, the hiring platform that helps companies solve hiring challenges with AI and on-demand expertise, premieres Supernova 2025: Hiring at the Movies at The Cameo Cinema, The Montenotte Hotel, Cork. The latest SOLAS survey revealed 47% of hard-to-fill roles were rated "very" or "too" difficult, and 64% required salary increases to seal the deal. Inspired by these real events, Supernova is flipping the script, taking hiring teams from today's recruiting horror story to a rom-com where they fall back in love with talent acquisition. Under the theme "Hiring at the Movies," Supernova 2025 connects the craft of film casting with the future of talent acquisition. Professionals from Eli Lilly, Workhuman, OpenText and many others, will gather to discuss what's next for hiring and the nature of work, along with real steps leaders can take now. The star-studded line-up includes two of Ireland's best-known casting directors, Maureen Hughes and Louise Kiely. They will unpack the craft of spotting potential, building chemistry, and making brave choices, all critical skills for any hiring team. They're joined by keynote speaker Kevin Wheeler, whose vision of a tech-powered future may sound stranger than fiction, but is quickly becoming a reality. The machines haven't taken over just yet though, as Larry Kelly explores the power of human imagination at work and why creativity is a decisive advantage in an AI-shaped future. "Supernova is where we zoom out to see what's coming and zoom in on what to do on Monday," said James Galvin, CEO at Starcircle. "Linking hiring to the world of film makes it simple; great outcomes start with a strong vision, a bold brief, and the imagination to see talent others miss." Galvin continues, "Supernova blends big-picture thinking with practical guidance. Since our first conference in 2022, we've brought together leading experts from around the world to share their playbooks and help organisations navigate the ever-changing landscape. This year promises to be our best event yet, and you won't find a talent event like this anywhere else in the world." Supernova is invite-only. Destination On The Left

On this episode of Destination on the Left, I talk with our summer intern, Nathan Oyer, who's about to head back to Binghamton University. In this episode, you'll hear a candid introduction with Nathan about his experiences as a TAP intern, then we'll dive right into the training session Nathan led for our team. He shares his insights and research on what makes Gen Z tick, from their love of authentic marketing to the language and wellness trends driving their travel decisions. What You Will Learn in This Episode: Why understanding the differences between generations is key when crafting messages and campaigns aimed at Gen Z versus Millennials, Gen X, or Boomers What makes Gen Z unique as consumers, including their desire for relatable, authentic, wellness-oriented experiences How language and slang can both help and hinder brands when communicating with Gen Z Why relatability, authenticity, and micro-influencers now matter more than celebrity endorsements when engaging with Gen Z audiences What role wellness plays in Gen Z's travel and purchasing decisions, and how destinations and brands can tap into this trend How Gen Z views and responds to cancel culture and why transparency and a willingness to learn from mistakes are so critical Bridging Generational Gaps in Tourism Marketing To market effectively, it's essential to understand the context and experiences that have shaped each generation. Nathan outlined a generational roadmap, from Baby Boomers who value face-to-face connections, paper mail, and research-driven marketing—all the way to Gen Z, born between 1995 and 2009. Unlike previous generations, Gen Z grew up with technology at their fingertips. They're digital natives, expect user-friendly web interactions, and are famous for their short attention spans. Where Millennials (born 1980–1994) might be drawn to nostalgia and Instagram, Gen Z's heart belongs to TikTok, Snapchat, and real-time, less-curated microcontent. Slang to Improve Storytelling One playful, but important, aspect discussed was slang. Gen Z's ever-evolving language isn't just about new words; it's a reflection of community, humor, and relatability. Nathan led the TAP team through some current favorites (like “NPC,” and “no cap”), but did share a word of caution that slang is tricky territory for brands. Using slang can humanize a brand and make content pop, but if brands try too hard or use trends after their expiration date, they risk coming across as “cringe” (Gen Z's word, not ours). Wellness, Sustainability, and Social Responsibility Wellness isn't just a trend for Gen Z, it's a lifestyle. They're proactive about their mental and physical health, seeking out travel experiences that contribute to self-care and well-being. When looking for ways to engage Gen Z travelers there are lots of opportunities around trips like spa retreats, vegan experiences and sustainable stays. To connect with Gen Z, brands have to blend strategy with sincerity: adopt the right language, stay up to date with trends, and continuously center authenticity and purpose. Send Us a Message (include your contact info if you'd like a reply)Divorce coaching isn't just for one type of professional anymore. What began as a niche service has evolved into a versatile skill set embraced by lawyers, mediators, paralegals, therapists, financial professionals, mortgage lenders, realtors and entrepreneurs—each using these powerful tools in unique ways. For attorneys, divorce coach certification addresses a critical gap in legal education. While law school prepares them for legal analysis and courtroom advocacy, it rarely teaches the soft skills needed to manage highly emotional clients making life-altering decisions. Certified divorce coach training provides structured frameworks for helping clients regulate emotions, clarify values, and make informed choices. Lawyers who complete our program consistently report more productive client meetings, less time spent on emotional management, and greater professional satisfaction. As one family law attorney with decades of experience told us, "This is the best continuing education I've ever taken."Mediators find that coaching skills dramatically improve client preparation and engagement. The ability to help clients articulate needs, understand interests (rather than positions), and develop realistic expectations transforms mediation outcomes. Meanwhile, paralegals and other legal support professionals discover new career opportunities, with some boutique firms now creating dedicated in-house divorce coach positions—a trend that benefits both clients and legal teams by reducing stress and improving service delivery.Beyond the legal field, our certification attracts therapists seeking to expand their practice, financial professionals wanting to better understand the emotional components of financial decisions during divorce, and entrepreneurs building innovative support services. What unites this diverse community is a commitment to transforming how people experience divorce—reducing unnecessary conflict, preserving co-parenting relationships, and empowering clients to make thoughtful decisions during a challenging life transition.Whether you're looking to enhance your existing professional skills or create an entirely new career path, DCA's revolutionary divorce coach certification offers a structured methodology grounded in alternative dispute resolution principles. Young adult professionals oftentimes relocate to new communities as they start a career. As they seek to practice their faith in a new community, they can encounter stumbling blocks as they integrate into parish life after experiencing college campus ministry. Listen to Fr. Frank Donio, S.A.C share more in this segment of the Son Rise Morning Show on Sacred Heart Radio, about how parishes can welcome and help young adult professionals integrate into the larger community of faith.College campus ministries offer young adults numerous faith-based events and catechesis that cater to the students' needs. After graduation, some young professionals may have a hard time finding a sense of community in a new parish, which may lead to them leaving the faith all together. To address the needs of young adults in parish communities, parishes need to prioritize welcoming and getting to know young adult community members. Parishes could offer mentorship opportunities to young adults and specifically inviting the young adults into service.Notes:Listen to On Mission: The Knights of ColumbusFriends Help You Stay Catholic in CollegeYoung SaintsSpiritual Growth During Collegiate YearsOther episodes about Young Adults From the Ad Infinitum blog:10 Ways to Remain Active in Your Faith Life During CollegeYoung Adults Follow us:The Catholic Apostolate CenterThe Center's podcast websiteInstagramFacebookApple PodcastsSpotify Fr. Eric features a conversation with Gary Vaynerchuk advising small to medium-sized business owners, particularly those in niche outdoor living spaces, on effective social media strategies. He emphasizes the importance of IRL (in-real-life) live streaming, consistent multi-platform posting, and amplifying organically successful content with paid media. Gary also highlights the shift towards interest-based media, encouraging businesses to share content about their personal passions—even if seemingly unrelated—to attract high-net-worth clients, as these diverse interests can create unexpected connection points and leads. Finally, he advises against fixating on follower counts, advocating instead for a focus on crafting compelling content and flowing with the momentum of successful platforms. Key Takeaways: Integrate your personal passions and diverse interests into your content strategy, as social media's "interest media" algorithms can connect you with unexpected, high-net-worth leads for your core business. Consistently post content daily across multiple social media platforms, including often-overlooked ones like Facebook, LinkedIn, and Snapchat Spotlight, to maximize reach and awareness for long-lead sales cycles. Amplify content that performs well organically with paid media, rather than spending money to promote underperforming content or focusing solely on vanity metrics. Prioritize the craft and process of content creation over fixating on specific numerical goals, allowing for natural growth and virality on platforms where your content organically flows. Build trust by being service-oriented and transparent, such as explaining who might not be an ideal client for your business, which can surprisingly make people want to hire you more.
