“Every business owner, if they take the time to really craft a powerful message and do that foundational work of getting clear on how they tell their story, can then repurpose that story.” –Kris JonesDo you freeze when you have to write about your own business or tell someone what you do? Kris Jones, StoryBrand guide and Founder of Red Door Designs, explains why and what we can do about it.The two main problems are that we're too close to our business and can't see it clearly and we're experts on what we do, but our clients aren't. We need to understand where our potential clients are and meet them there.Getting an outside perspective helps a lot, but can also learn to mine your own story for gold and clear the clutter. We talk about: Making potential clients the hero of the storyBuilding trust and resonance firstCrafting a powerful story and how to repurpose itNot being active everywhere — making your website the center of your business and choosing 2–3 other things that are fun for youNot outsourcing your own voice, but getting a guideHow much can change when you dial in your storyABOUT KRISKris Jones is a StoryBrand guide & Founder of Red Door Designs. The Truth Behind the Snapshot: Building Your Personal Success Algorithm We've all seen it: someone pulls up in a beautiful car, posts a picturesque vacation photo, or shares a business milestone on LinkedIn. And just like that, our mind starts to draw conclusions. They've made it. They've figured it out. Why not me? But the truth is, success is never as instantaneous as it looks. What we're seeing is a snapshot—a single frame from a much longer movie. That person smiling in front of the new house may have spent years quietly grinding, filled with self-doubt, maxed-out credit cards, and sleepless nights. They might still be in it, just in a different chapter. Their external “win” today could be the first fruits of a seed planted long ago in silence and struggle. Given we are all at different stages, it's important to have your own personal recipe. Below are some helpful steps as you build and grow. 1. Define What Success Looks Like for You Not your neighbor's version. Not social media's version. Is it more time with your family? Financial freedom? Creative expression? Peace of mind? Success without a personal definition becomes a trap of chasing what everyone else wants. Action: Write your own success mission statement in one or two sentences. Example: “Success to me is having enough financial stability to support my family while maintaining the freedom to spend time with them daily.” 2. Audit Your Inputs What are you consuming daily—content, conversations, people, environments? Every input becomes part of your algorithm. If you're only watching people who portray perfect lives, your brain will feed you unrealistic output. Action: Replace one unhelpful input with something inspiring and honest—a book, podcast, or community that shares the full journey, not just the highlight reel. 3. Collect Ingredients, Not Idols You don't need to be that successful entrepreneur or become that perfect parent—you just need their best practices. Take the ingredient that works for you, and discard the rest. Action: Identify 3 people you admire in different areas of life. Ask: “What's one habit they have that I could try for 30 days?” Test it. Keep it if it fits. 4. Build Feedback Loops What's working? What isn't? What are you doing just because you think you should? Real algorithms adapt. So should yours. Action: Set a monthly check-in with yourself. Ask: “Did I move closer to my version of success this month? What should I keep, change, or drop?” 5. Stay in Beta Mode Nothing is final. Life changes, goals evolve, circumstances shift. Don't lock yourself into a system that served the old version of you. Stay agile. Action: Journal occasionally on the prompt: “What does the next version of me need more of? Less of?” 6. Add Compassion as a Constant Any algorithm needs constants. In this one, compassion for yourself and others is non-negotiable. You're not a robot. You will fail, pivot, and question things. That's not the breakdown—it's the build. Action: Choose one self-compassionate phrase you'll return to when things get hard. (e.g. “I'm building, not finished.”)   www.BusinessFinanceAndSoul.com  www.CallTSG.com

How to Choose a Trustworthy Tax Preparer This Tax Season

The holidays are behind us; you know what that means—it's tax season! But before you start gathering your W-2s and receipts, there's an important question: Do you know who will prepare your taxes this year? With a nationwide shortage of Certified Public Accountants (CPAs) and tax professionals, waiting too long to find a preparer could leave you scrambling—and vulnerable to scams. Here's how to protect yourself and find a trusted tax preparer.Who Can Prepare Your Taxes? When hiring a tax professional, your preparer will likely fall into one of three categories:Certified Public Accountant (CPA): These professionals undergo rigorous education, exams, and licensing requirements. Many specialize in tax preparation and can also provide broader financial guidance. Enrolled Agent (EA): Licensed by the IRS, EAs are tax experts who can prepare and file returns, represent clients before the IRS, and provide tax planning services. Tax Attorney: These legal professionals specialize in tax law and are particularly useful for complex tax situations, audits, or disputes. Each of these professionals is highly qualified—but the problem is there aren't enough of them. There is a growing shortage of CPAs and tax professionals, mainly because fewer young people are entering the field. Some firms are even hiring high school interns at $22 an hour to recruit future CPAs.What does this mean for you?Longer wait times to book a tax preparerHigher fees due to increased demandGreater risk of falling into the hands of fraudulent preparersWhen people are desperate to file their returns, they can become easy targets for scammers who fake credentials or engage in tax fraud. How to Avoid Tax Scams and Find a Qualified PreparerTo protect yourself, follow these IRS-recommended steps when choosing a tax preparer:1. Choose a Year-Round Tax PreparerA reputable preparer should be available beyond tax season. You don't want your tax preparer to disappear if you get audited.2. Verify Their IRS CredentialsAsk for the IRS Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN). All paid tax return preparers must register with the IRS and enter their PTIN on every return they file.Check their status using the IRS Directory of Federal Tax Return Preparers at IRS.gov.3. Look for Professional CredentialsAsk if the preparer holds a credential such as:CPA (Check with the State Board of Accountancy)Enrolled Agent (Verify at IRS.gov under "Verify Enrolled Agent Status")Tax Attorney (Confirm with their State Bar Association)Additionally, inquire about continuing education—since tax laws change frequently, professionals should stay current.4. Be Cautious About FeesBeware of tax preparers who:Charge fees based on a percentage of your refundClaim they can get you a larger refund than competitorsA legitimate preparer should charge a flat or hourly rate based on the complexity of your return.5. Verify IRS E-File CapabilityMost tax preparers handling more than 10 clients must file electronically. If your preparer refuses to e-file, that's a red flag.6. Ensure Proper DocumentationA trustworthy tax preparer will ask for the following:Your W-2 and 1099 forms (not just a pay stub)Records of deductions and creditsIf a preparer doesn't ask for supporting documents, walk away. The IRS requires proper documentation to verify your return.7. Understand Representation RulesOnly CPAs, Enrolled Agents, and tax attorneys can represent you before the IRS if you're audited.Non-credentialed tax preparers—including your math-savvy cousin Bill—cannot represent you in an audit.8. Never Sign a Blank or Incomplete Tax ReturnPlease review your return carefully before signing. Ensure all information is accurate, and ask questions if anything appears incorrect.9. Your Refund Should Go to You—Not the PreparerCheck the routing and account number on your tax return to ensure your refund is deposited into your own account, not your preparer's.Looking for a Faith-Based Financial Professional? If you want to work with a tax professional who aligns with biblical financial principles, consider finding a CPA, Enrolled Agent, or tax attorney with the Certified Kingdom Advisor (CKA®) designation. To find a trusted, faith-based financial professional, visit FaithFi.com and click “Find a Professional.”With tax season here, choosing a reputable, qualified tax preparer is more important than ever. Don't wait until the last minute—start your search today to avoid scams and ensure your taxes are filed accurately and ethically. On Today's Program, Rob Answers Listener Questions:As I turn 70 and a half, is it advantageous for me to start doing my charitable giving from my IRA? Or should I wait until 73, when I have to do the required minimal distribution (RMD)?I have $10,000 in a savings account with my local bank, but I only earn about 10 cents in monthly interest. Since I've never invested before, I'm interested in investing that money elsewhere to create some extra available money. What would you suggest?I ran a landscaping company into the ground, but I've now rededicated my life to Christ and started a new handyman business. I need help managing the money in my company and being a better steward of the resources God has entrusted me with. I'm looking for guidance on the best direction to take.Considering Trump is now in his second term, would it be a good time for me to sell my house and buy another home? Should I wait? Snag Our Simplified Budget System! We talk with Cassie, a nurse and mom of two from Texas, who's balancing life with an “irregular” income and a family calendar that's booked to the brim. Cassie's husband works in the oil industry, which comes with unique income fluctuations—and when he's home, it's all about making memories and taking advantage of family time, a mindset that can put savings goals on hold. They explore how Cassie and her husband can save for their big dreams (a forever home, a cheerleading fund, and even that sweet Disneyland budget!) without sacrificing the lifestyle they love. Key Takeaways: Embrace the Savings Buckets System: For big priorities like a home down payment or family vacations, separate savings accounts (a.k.a. “savings buckets”) can help you earmark funds without needing to track every single purchase. Structure Irregular Income for Peace of Mind: For those with variable income, budgeting around the lowest expected income helps keep bills and essentials covered. When those extra-good paychecks come in, that “bonus” can go straight toward dreams and savings goals. Automate Everything: Once you set up automatic transfers and define your spending categories, there's no need for constant manual tracking. You're free to focus on family, work, and all those weekend trips while knowing your financial goals are getting funded! Find Your Financial “Yes” and “No”: Cassie and the ladies chat about the pressures parents feel to “be there” at every practice or spend time socializing. But taking back some of those hours for budgeting or self-care can ultimately be a powerful way to support the family's dreams. Choose the Right Bank for You: Not all banks offer the flexibility you might need for multiple accounts without fees. The team recommends starting with a bank that prioritizes ease of use with digital savings and checking accounts, like Ally or a local credit union. Cassie's main lesson from the episode? The power of setting up systems that work in the background, so you can spend time where it matters most. 4 Ways To Connect With Us: 1️⃣ FREE CALL: Book your FREE 20-Minute Financial Coaching Call now! Unleashing The Joker: The Rise, Fall, and Future of UFC's Jay Perrin The 135 lb champion of the 2019 Cage Titans speaks about the UFC run (FEB 2019) Hear what it takes to be a fighter people want to watch and will listen to before he joins the UFC. PERRIN talks about what it takes to be a fighter people want to watch While Perrin may appear to be the same person he was in 2023, he has had a very difficult journey to get there. Perrin says "I FIGHT FOR MORE THAN MYSELF, fights for the city he grew up in.. we all grew up poor without a silver spoon, and if I can do it so can you. You don't need to be some super-gifted athlete you just need to grind hard and when you fall get back up! To anyone who thinks they are down and OUT...YOU NOT!!!!" Perrin's Early Career In his early career, Perrin fought for regional promotions such as Cage Titans and CES MMA. He quickly established himself as a force to be reckoned with, winning his first four professional fights via submission or TKO. However, Perrin faced his first setback in 2018 when he suffered a unanimous decision loss to Richie Santiago at CES MMA 50. Despite the setback, Perrin bounced back with a vengeance, winning his next four fights and capturing the Cage Titans bantamweight title in the process. Perrin's UFC Debut Perrin's hard work and dedication paid off when he received the call to compete in the UFC. His debut came on August 22, 2020, at UFC Fight Night: Munhoz vs. Edgar, where he faced fellow newcomer, Jordan Griffin. Although Perrin lost a close split decision, he showed that he belonged in the UFC with his gritty performance. He proved that he has the heart and determination to succeed at the highest level of MMA. Perrin takes the motivation he receives from his closest friends who cannot be here any longer and turns it into a strength by channeling his higher power: the angels. The UFC has yet to turn Jay down a challenge. Unfortunately being young and hungry with the glory of the biggest stage on the planet in their hands most fighters become gun hoes vs being focused on the long term within the organization. Sadly this leads to 3 fights with 2 losses that can have a very dark blemish on a fighter's value and future as their next contract negotiation approaches. Perrin's fighting style is characterized by his unpredictability and creativity. He is equally comfortable on the feet and on the ground, and he is always looking for ways to surprise his opponents with unorthodox techniques and strategies. Conclusion: The Future Looks Bright for Jay Perrin Jay Perrin is a rising star in the UFC bantamweight division. With his unique fighting style and unwavering determination, he has already made a name for himself in the sport. And with his upcoming fight against David Dvorak, he has the opportunity to take another step towards greatness. As Perrin continues to hone his skills and gain experience in the UFC, there is no doubt that he will become a force to be reckoned with in the bantamweight division. Fans of MMA should keep their eyes on “The Joker” as he continues his journey inside the octagon. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

Are You Acting In Spite of Your Mood?  I want you to ask yourself if you are willing to act in spite of your mood. Are you willing to do things whether you feel like it or not?  All of us get up in the morning and we're tired. You know you might be getting up and saying to yourself:  I have a bad job  I don't like my situation  I'm in bad circumstances  I am tired, I work hard and I don't have the energy  Guess what? All of us struggle. Everyone struggles! But here's the thing …  You say you want to create your life. You say you want to make a difference. But are your actions telling the story validating what you say you want? Because that's the key. That's the difference.  Stop Making The Struggle About You  We always have a difficult time in life. We don't always feel like doing the things we need to do. We don't always feel like we can. You NOT taking action sidetracks  your results.  Failure, pain and struggle are a lot worse if you don't take basic control of your actions and act in spite of your mood. Having growth happen is a key.  Stop making it about YOU. Stop making it about your feelings. Maybe it's a relationship. Maybe it's a cause or passion that you have.  You have to stop making it about you and your feelings and you'll see some things move forward in your life!  How To Start Taking Action  1-SETTING GOALS  With clear direction and focus in your life, it's much easier to act in spite your mood. When we've been able to take time to develop a clear vision of where we're going, it's a lot easier to take action when times are difficult.    2-MAKE THE COMMITMENT  Second, make the commitment, not just the decision, the commitment every time to ACT in spite of your mood. Make the decision and the commitment that if you're going to get up early and go to the gym, you're going to get up. Make the decision and the commitment! If you set an alarm, get up when the alarm goes off.    3-THE 5-SECOND RULE  I wanted to give you a couple of other things you might want to try too. Have you heard of the 5-second rule?   There's about a 5-second period of time after which doubt and indecision enters our consciousness. Act within that first 5 seconds. Taking action within that timeframe moves us forward. With any hesitation, longer than 5 seconds, our initiative wanes... You will fail to accomplish the things you want.    4-POWER STATEMENTS  Create a power statement. It could be something like:  I act in spite of my mood  I am successful with every step forward  I see the vision  5-CHANGE YOUR STATE with tools and tricks Use music, books, awesome pictures, or the Daily Mastermind mobile app that helps you get in a state for action.  I'll play certain songs on my ipod or my phone that motivate me to go to the gym. Or I'll use certain pictures and memories that are vivid to specific things to help me. Everyone's different.    6-CREATE SUPPORTING HABITS  The last thing I'm going to suggest is to create habits. When discipline and motivation go out the door, habits are there to guide you. These are habits like creating daily rituals that will guide you into creating habits that support you.   It's so you don't question every time whether or not you're going to go to the gym. You don't question every night if you're going to read, meditate, or write in your journal. Once you create habits, then you won't have to struggle so much with acting in spite of your mood.    7-BACK UP YOUR TALK WITH ACTION  I believe, and I'll say it again, acting in spite of your mood is a difference-maker. You've got to back up your talk with your actions. And you have to be able to do this on a consistent basis. So whether it's setting goals, making commitments, power statements, or other tools that will change your state and create habits … use them to create long term discipline.    I hope these quick thoughts and strategies will help you.   Hit me up on @tehdailymastermind facebook or instagram page.  Let me know what you are up to.  Cant wait to hear how you are doing. With the world's focus on “going green,” we want to do our part. In addition, we want to provide our patients with the finest diagnostic tools available. That's why at Airway & Sleep Group we combine the two by offering Green X scanning. What is Green X?Produced by Vatech, Green X is a highly-advanced 3rd generation compressed sensing technology that combines low-dose radiation X-ray scans with high-quality 3D images for use by dental and medical professionals. Benefits of Green XThe Largest Single Scan FOV RangeOne of the greatest benefits of Green X is its ability to offer a wide range of selectable fields of view (FOV). This enables doctors to choose the optimum FOV mode while at the same time minimizing the radiation exposure to areas not of interest. Scans from five FOVs can range from a single tooth capture to an entire facial view, and can include the full arch region, sinus and left or right TMJ to suit most oral surgery cases and multiple implant surgeries.Lowest DosageIt is a common belief that inferior images are associated with low radiation. However, this is not true of the Green X technology. With reduction of up to 70% lower radiation than other types of scans, achieving clinically-diagnosable image quality is possible. In addition, its FOV range ability to focus directly upon the area in question reduces overall radiation to other parts of the face and neck.Highest Quality ImageryGreen X is a highly-advanced 4-in-1 digital X-ray system incorporating panoramic (Pano), CBCT, Cephalometric (Ceph) (optional) and Model scan with high-resolution images.Pano = panoramic wrap-around X-ray of the face and teethCeph = lateral/side view X-ray of the faceCBCT = cone beam computed tomography using a cone-shaped X-ray beam to capture an overall view of the entire mouth, jaw, nasal and throat areas, in 3D images that show bone, airway and soft tissuesThe Fastest Scan TimeGreen X is fast, which minimizes exposure and offers quick diagnostic capabilities. Image speeds range from Ceph scans at 1.9 seconds and CBCT scans at 2.9 seconds, to Pano scans at 3.9 seconds. What the Improved Green X Imaging Means to YouNot all communities offer access to high-resolution imaging centers. But because we strive to provide our patients with the best and most improved diagnostic services available, we made the choice to invest in Green X Imaging.Your quality of dental care is important. So is your overall health. If we can provide superior imaging while reducing your exposure to radiation, it is in everyone's best interest. And as technology continues to improve and innovate, Airway & Sleep Group will continue to upgrade its services. It's our commitment to our patients and our community.Airway & Sleep GroupAirway & Sleep Group diagnoses and treats sleep disorders and airway obstruction through craniofacial orthopedics, TMJ treatments, orofacial myofunctional therapy, and interceptive orthodontics in order to provide our patients with quality sleep and an overall improvement in their quality of life. To do so, we find it important to invest in continuing education and improved technology. To learn more about Green X or to schedule an appointment with Airway & Sleep Group, please contact us at (571) 244-7329 or complete our easy-to-use online contact form.

National Novel Writing and Podcast Posting Month 2021 Welcome friend to Create Art Podcast where I help you tame your inner critic and create more than we consume. I am Timothy Kimo Brien your thankful head instigator with over 20 years in arts and education. How I accomplish this is by providing you with commentary, interviews, discussions, and projects that will inspire you to create art. This month I will be podcasting daily and writing a novel in 30 days. I am participating in NaPodPoMo and NaNoWriMo again this year as I did last year and you can hear those episodes here. You will be able to listen and read along to what I wrote for the day. I like to practice what I preach when it comes to art so I am challenging myself to write and having you come along for the ride. It is my hope this inspires you to accomplish your goals with your art and if you would like to share what you are doing email me at timothy@createartpodcast.com History of NaNoWriMo and NaPodPoMo NaNoWriMo: National Novel Writing Month began in 1999 as a daunting but straightforward challenge: to write 50,000 words of a novel in thirty days. Now, each year on November 1, hundreds of thousands of people around the world begin to write, determined to end the month with 50,000 words of a brand new novel. They enter the month as elementary school teachers, mechanics, or stay-at-home parents. They leave novelists. NaPodPoMo: NaPodPoMo* is a month-long event along the same vein as National Novel Writing Month aka NaNoWriMo. The difference? Well, instead of writing a 50,000-word novel, you podcast every day for 30 days from November 1st-30th. Use any platform you desire. From full production studio to iPhone app and just about anything in between. The goal is to use the challenge of podcasting daily as a form of podcasting boot camp. The Writing So Far Good evening, everyone and Happy November 26, otherwise known as Black Friday here in America. So today, I wrote nothing, nothing at all. And that's okay, because I was having what I like to call lived experience. I went out this morning to Richmond, Virginia, which is about an hour south of where I live. And I stood in line was the 10th person in line at Record Store Day down at plan nine, which is a record store in Richmond, Virginia. And the whole way down there. I was listening to other podcasts. And specifically I was listening to Alec Baldwin. Yeah, his podcast. Here's the thing and Alan Alda has clear and vivid. In while I was doing that I was thinking about a interview that I'm going to be doing next week for my other show find a podcast about and you can find that at Find a podcast about dot XYZ. But I was being inspired while I was driving, which is a usual thing for me. And that's what I did today. That's the creativity that I did today. And that's the whole thing behind this podcast that you're listening to, is to be creative. You know, I know I say it. Gosh, this is episode 101. And I always say, you know, tame your inner critic can create more than you can sell. Well, today what I needed to do was be quiet was be present for what was happening. And what was happening was quite simply that I needed to not write today. And I am fine with that. Sometimes you have those times when you don't need to create you need to be inspired by that which is around you. And today I definitely do feel inspired because of the long drive. Because of what I went and did. Behind me. I'm playing Leonard Cohen's songs of love and hate, which is that album is now 50. It's celebrating its 50th year anniversary. I also bought Miles Davis, live slash evil, which is also celebrating its 50th anniversary. And I bought you to Gloria and I also bought Jimi Hendrix live in Paris 67. So right now I'm just listening to records, enjoying my family. And that's what I needed to do today. The novel will keep on going. I'll be working on it. You Not tomorrow morning while I play with my girls, while we watch cartoons and eat donuts, and you'll get another installment tomorrow. But today, I just needed to be silent. I needed to be around those that I loved. And doing the podcast recording, this is easy enough, I have everything, everything set up in a template, if you couldn't tell. And I know I talked about it at the beginning of the year on, you know why it's important to set up your show or set up whatever you're doing and have gold for yourself. And this is one of them. So I just thought I would talk with you right now. And first off, let you know that I appreciate all of you that do listen to the show. Secondly, I appreciate all of you that have been following the novel as it progresses. I've never written a full fledged novel. And when I started it last year at National Novel Writing Month, and national podcast, postman I was like no, yeah, I'll get you know, this novel done in a month. Sure. And I didn't, I didn't get it done. I got the 50,000 words, but I didn't get the novel done. And this year, I'm looking at the calendar. And we're getting close to the 30th. And do I think I'm gonna get it done? I'm not sure. I don't know, I might. I would like to get it done. So that way I can take it to its next phase. But if I don't get it done, that's okay, too. That's not a huge problem. Because then I can just keep on writing. Yeah. But I'm in a good spot with a novel. I am happy with it. It needs editing, it needs auto correcting. As you all know, and as you as you have been following along with what I've been writing, it is not perfect. But you know what, it's the novel. That is perfect for right now. Tonight, I will be going to Well, let me tell you what else I I went to a place called Patriot subs here in Fredericksburg, Virginia and had to Chicago dog. And a reuben sandwich. gave each of my girls a big bite of my reuben sandwich in there. Well, one girl liked it, one girl didn't. And I also got to cannolis mini cannolis. Again, one girl liked it one girl didn't are twins. That's what happens. Got my wife to Chicago hotdogs and to cannolis. And she was very appreciative. And then, you know, we just sat back and watched a, a baking challenge show on Netflix. And we've been, you know, having one of those kind of days. You know, just sometimes you need that nice, lazy day. And that's what we had today. And that's what I had today. And that was with my family today. Right now I am with you, no matter you know, where or when you're listening to this. I'm here in your ears. I'm here with you. And I just want to let you all know that it's okay. It's okay. You don't have to create every day. I don't create every day. But that's why I like these challenges because it gets me gets my juices flowing. And I'm already thinking about hey, what am I going to do in 2022. And I'm wondering what you're gonna deal. So the other thing I wanted to say is that I will be doing a poetry reading over at the place where my nephew works, which is couture a coffee shop, he does a poetry reading every Friday night. It's an open mic meeting. And I really enjoyed going to it. I am by far the oldest person there by 10 or 15 years. But when I go there and I hear these young, these young whippersnapper kids, when I, when I hear them read their poetry and read their stuff, I do overlook I whatever, you know, former, whatever silliness that they're doing, and I really pay attention to the content of what they're trying to say. And the older I get, the more I want to just, you know, wrap them all in a big hug and say it's going to be okay, you're gonna be alright. Because, you know, I wish somebody would have said that to me, way back when, and maybe people did say to me and I just wasn't it wasn't I wasn't ready to hear it at that time. That could be it. I don't know why I have a couch right next to the microphone. So that way I can go ahead and self analyze myself. But I'm going to be doing that tonight. And then after that I'll be grabbing doughnuts for my girls and then tomorrow, we'll get back to writing. So I want to encourage you in your practice, whatever it is, whether it be dance, painting, sculpture, music, writing, whatever a crafts, whatever art is your art. You're good enough, you're smart enough and Gosh, darn it. The guy behind the microphone here likes you. Alright, I really do. So have a great, as we call it here in America Black Friday, it's the Friday after Thanksgiving. Myself, I made a point to support local businesses. Do whatever you want. I mean, you know, support local businesses don't support any business. Right, Jeff Bezos, head of Amazon into your Will you in whatever you want to do. It's up to you. But I would ask you to take some time and reflect and pause and be with your family and be with those that are around you. That love you, and have yourself a great night. So this is Tim signing off for today. Timothy Kimo, Brian, your head instigator for create our podcast where we help you tame your inner critic breed more than you consume. And sometimes while we just need to sit on the couch and let y'all know what's going on in my little head. Alright, see you next time. And yes, tomorrow I'll be writing. I have spoken many times about having boundaries with others, but I think it's time we spoke about having boundaries with ourselves. Show Notes:This might sound like a weird concept because it sounds like we would be limiting ourselves, which isn't the message that is being passed around in today's society. But actually, having limits & sort of a set of rules for yourself can help you feel safe & in an already established mindset of what is best for you & will serve you well, in your current season of life, of course.I think one of the reasons I like boundaries so much is because I am such a lover of rules. And no, boundaries aren't exactly rules, but these are a set of decisions you know will work best for you & keep you from falling into giving too much or too little of yourself, which can lead to a negative headspace. A rule is more definitive, generally, and set for someone else, where boundaries are created for your benefit. But I love rules & boundaries because both of these set expectations from the jump & that's comforting. So let's get into some boundaries we can set for ourselves that will help us become our best selves. Because boundaries are meant to help you take care of yourself by managing stress, creating healthy relationships, taking care of yourself physically & really taking the time to recognize what you need in your life to flourish. Here are 7 examples of boundaries you can set for yourself:Managing your finances properly with a budget & paying bills on timeEstablishing a bedtime & wake-up time & sticking to itSetting limits on how much you will work each weekAvoiding people who hurt you, stress you out, influence the worst in youNot participating in gossip or talking behind someone's backTaking rest & mental health daysTaking time to process your emotions & honor your feelingsI hope going through these examples of boundaries you can set for yourself has been helpful & will lead to creating a list of your own or just using these ones mentioned here.Thank you again for listening & I hope this episode was helpful.Come visit me on my Instagram page @sabrinajoyperozzo to say hi or on Clubhouse @sabrinajperozzo to chat!Visit www.sabrinajoy.com for more content & blog posts!Have any questions, comments or feedback?  Send me an email at realpositivegirlpodcast@gmail.com!Support the show (https://www.buymeacoffee.com/sabrinajoy)

Markus Villig was 19 when he decided to spend the $5,000 his parents had saved up for university on starting a business instead. His initial goal for Bolt, then called Taxify, was to solve Tallinn’s (Estonia) taxi problem. By 25 he was the youngest unicorn founder in Europe and had shown that Uber wasn’t going to win everywhere.“Today, Bolt is the fastest growing mobility company in the world. We have more than 50 million customers on the platform. We operate in more than 40 countries. And we’ve raised more than $600 million of funding with a team of about 2000 people.”Markus knew from an early age he wanted to start a company and build a product. “The only things that were really, really clear for me were that it needed to be in technology, I really wanted it to be a consumer product. And it needed in some ways to make the world a better place. But other than that, I was pretty agnostic of which space to get into.”He chose transportation, not only because he can’t drive, but because hundreds of billions of dollars are spent on transportation globally by consumers each year, and what they get in return isn’t good. From the problems caused by private cars, to taking on Uber, their unusual funding routes, making big mistakes in his early hires, and why his strategy to focus on Africa paid off. “The last straw for me was when I was in Serbia, in Belgrade, meeting one of the local taxi companies. And halfway through the meeting, I realised that these guys are essentially mafia, the guy had a revolver on the table and a big safe in the corner of his office.”This is a tale of tenacity and grit, and a CEO’s unwavering belief in his vision. Dogs Are Smarter Than People: Writing Life, Marriage and Motivation

It’s 2021 and people are burnt out. There’s COVID-19. There’s political strife. Systemic bigotries and biases. There’s meanies at the grocery store and there’s that never-ending effort for some of us to pay for food, shelter, and health care, right? On Carrie’s blog, http://www.carriejonesbooks.blog, she talked about how you can burnout on self care even, but also how writers seem super susceptible to burnout and why she was a bit burnt out for awhile. First, let’s put some definitions out there. Writer’s block is when you can’t figure out what to write. Writer’s burnout is when you are super stressed and completely mentally and physically exhausted. You have zero motivation. And surprise surprise this pandemic has burnt out a lot of people–not just writers. What else causes burnout? That damn stressNobody supporting youNot being valuedWorking too hardMultitasking like a wild oneChaos What are the symptoms? Back in 2016, the Harvard Business Review had an article by Monique Valcour about beating burnout. Her main three symptoms are ExhaustionCynicismInefficacy Add to that: Zero motivationNot being interested in thingsFeeling like a big failNot feeling attached to anything, especially your work In Valcour’s article, she pulls out four things you can do to combat burnout. Prioritize self-care.Shift your perspective.Reduce exposure to job stressors.Seek out connections. Valcour Easier said than done, right? Over on the blog, TOO MUCH ON HER PLATE, Dr. Melissa writes Taking care of YOU is not a luxury. Which makes sense because if you don’t take care of yourself and your basic needs, you die. But I think she’s talking a bit beyond those basic needs and writes what happens when you don’t take care of yourself! Yes, we’re talking to you! You have less energy and motivation to follow through on your goalsYou are more easily distracted and less focusedMany people tend to turn to “vices” to fill in the gaps that aren’t being filled with in quality ways. Stress eating and other kinds of emotional eating, smoking, drinking too much, wasting time surfing the internet—these are a few things that tend to show up, waste more of your time and energy, distract you, and contribute to a vicious cycle of decreased happiness and less effectiveness.Stress levels are higherSleep is often impaired (or sacrificed)It’s common to feel deprived, irritable, more easily frustrated, or impatientCreativity suffers and life usually includes less play and funHealth is negatively affectedDr. Melissa So how do you take care of yourself without burning out on taking care of yourself? Spoiler: Carrie is burnt out on daily five-minute arm exercise videos. Spoiler: Shaun is burnt out listening to Carrie do those five-minute arm exercise videos. Anyway, how do you take care of you? Again, Dr. Melissa has some lovely advice: Start claiming 10-15 minutes a day for yourself. Use this time to connect with yourself and to pay attention to how you feel and what you need. Journal, walk, meditate, soak in the tub. Try not to save this for the end of the day when you are too tired to move and your brain has stopped working. Pay yourself first or, if necessary, take a break during your day.Adopt the following mantras: “I’m doing my best,” and “I can’t do it all.” They are true. Put them where you can see them and remind yourself of them frequently.Create effectiveness in do-able steps. Each evening, identify your top three personal action items for the next day and decide when you will accomplish them. Think do-able. If these daily goals seem overwhelming, make them smaller. A fifteen minute walk that you take is better than the 45 minute one you couldn’t fit in. If possible, knock out your personal priorities early in the day.Plan for food that fuels you—especially when time is tight. Don’t skip breakfast, have a plan for lunch, and don’t starve yourself before dinner. Make sure you have the groceries that you need. Choose foods that are appealing. No starvation diets.Cut the multitasking. It stresses us out and makes us less effective. Practice focusing on doing one thing at a time. You won’t get it perfect, but that’s okay, remember step number two.Take emotional eating seriously. It’s often a signal that life is out of balance and your personal priorities need more attention. Emotional eating happens when our spirit or our life isn’t getting fed the non-food things we need or crave. If you wonder about how to stop emotional eating, it starts with paying attention and developing ways of caring for ourselves instead of turning to food. Dr. Melissa All pretty cool stuff, right? A few years ago, Kellie McGann on The Write Practice blog talked about how to overcome writing burnout specifically. She said she had writer’s burnout because “I started thinking that my words didn’t matter and no one needed to hear what I had to say.” That feeling is so common especially for pre-published writers or writers who are from oppressed groups and identities. So how do you deal with it? How to deal with Writing Burnout according to McGann Recognize the ProblemDon’t Stop WritingFind Yourself (again)Don’t Try to Explain YourselfWrite ConsistentlyMcGann What does that mean? It means that you have to keep being persistent and putting words down even when you never want to write again if it’s your job and your dream to be a writer/author/novelist. It means you’re allowed to be open about being burnt out, but you don’t owe other people explanations about the why of your burnout. But you don’t have to tell anyone why you aren’t putting your words out there. You get to do you. It means you have to take the time to remember or re-remember, why you’re a writer, who you are, what your message is, what you want to say. You get to go back to the core of who you are, the real you, and your message to the world. And it does matter. You matter. Your words matter. We need them out there. WRITING TIP OF THE POD Burnout is real. Take care of yourself. DOG TIP FOR LIFE Make your own mantra. Find your joy, don’t worry about that outside validation. Know your purpose and go after it. Sparty’s purpose is food. He goes after it. Even if it’s a bacon crumb under a coffee table, that dog is all in. You’ve got this. Be like Sparty. Find people that support you and your voice. Learning to balance business and travel was definitely a learning experience for Sarah as she embraced the digital nomad lifestyle. In this episode she is sharing some of the lessons, both expected and unexpected, that she learned while traveling for four months outside of the country in 2019.Embrace JOMOWe've all heard of FOMO, the fear of missing out, but have you tried JOMO, the joy of missing out? This was the first lesson Sarah learned while working remotely; especially with a group of 40 other individuals. With so much to explore and do embracing the JOMO to feel productive about getting work done, having your personal time or not saying yes to a commitment that you might not really be into is a blessing to working remotely.Find Spaces that Work for YouNot every space is for you! When you are traveling and still needing to put in your office hours, finding the space where you feel comfortable, inspired and are able to focus is essential! Sarah shares how while in Lisbon she did not find herself productive in the co-working space she had access to, but her apartment was the perfect place to get in those work sessions so she could follow it up with a bit of exploration and play.Create BoundariesYou know your deadlines and commitments, so make sure you set boundaries to meet them. The lure of adventure and exploring a new place can be so enticing, but you do still have a business to run. Find the schedule that works for you. It might be:You explore in the morning and work later in the day so you are working when your clients are  active as wellYou working in the morning so you are free of distraction and having your time to be adventurous after the job is doneYou commit to a full day(s) of work so you can take a day or two off and dedicate it just to seeing what is around you and diving into the cultureFind Minimalism & Ways to AdaptBetween having to travel with everything you pack and airline weight restrictions you have to learn to adapt. If you are a pen to paper lover like us it might be finding some ways to switch up to digital. The large whiteboard Sarah uses at home would definitely not fit in her luggage! Adapting to a digital calendar and more online tools helped to pack light.Start SmallIf this is something that sounds like a dream but you are hesitant - start small. Travel to a different city or state near you for a week and try it out. Or if you are used to working in an office, break the routine and try working in coffeeshops for a week. The change and putting yourself out of your comfort zone will help you decide if it is the right decision for you.Helpful Links Mentioned in This Episode:Save $200 on a Remote Year itinerary!Find Sarah's Travel Journey's Online:Website: outofthemidwest.comFacebook: facebook.com/outofthemidwestInstagram: instagram.com/outofthemidwestFind The Creative Legacy Podcast Online:Website: thecreativelegacypodcast.comInstagram: instagram.com/thecreativelegacypodcastFacebook: facebook.com/thecreativelegacypodcastFacebook Group: facebook.com/groups/thecreativelegacypodcastFind Sarah Online:Website: sarahschraderdesign.comInstagram: instagram.com/sarahschraderdesignFacebook: facebook.com/sarahschraderdesignFind Shaunae Online:Website: shaunae.comInstagram: instagram.com/shaunaeteskeFacebook: facebook.com/shaunaeteskephotography

Childhood is the most blissful time of life for many people. As an adult, you look back at that time and wonder why you're not achieving your dreams. In fact, you may remember many adults around you encouraging you to chase your dreams and find fulfilment. Let me know if this sounds familiar. As a child, you wanted to become a doctor, lawyer, nurse, eye specialist, teacher, fireman, footballer or some other profession but things didn't work out. Your parents got you gifts frequently to help you move along the path to that profession. The gifts included a blackboard and chalk or stethoscope or gavel or fireman outfit, dollhouse or a soccer ball or other significant item Something happened along the way but that dream started fading during your years at school. The truth is that it is not your fault at all. No one ever teaches any of us how to achieve our goals or to turn our dreams into reality as teenagers. In this post, you will learn the 11 things that you are doing wrong when it comes to fulfilling your long term dreams. Dreams vs Goals As I am sat writing this blog post, I can think of several reasons why it is so easy to get all confused when it comes to the topic of dreams. For the purposes of this exercise I am not referring to nightmares or random dreams that you have at night. The focus here are those dreams as it relates to positive or progressive things that can transform your life. I will not be diving into the world of manifestation or supernatural things or astrology. Everything will be practical and down to earth and include everyday actions that anyone can do comfortably. Dreams in this post, will be related to life goals. 11 Things You are Not Doing There are so many reasons why you are not achieving your dreams yet despite having the best intentions. Here's a list of the top 11 reasons why your dreams have not yet come true. Did not set goalsGoal not big enoughUnsure what's good for youNot exercising skills or talentYou are not seriousIn actionStopped learningHiding from othersNo collaborationsHave not hired a coachMisaligned with God's will Let's spend some time looking at each one of these individually to better understand how to turn things around. 1. Did Not Set Goals In case you are new to this concept, it is often said that the first step to achieving your dreams is to write them down. "A dream written down with a date becomes a goal. A goal broken down into steps becomes a plan. A plan backed by action makes your dreams come true.”Greg Reid As you can see this is not something I invented recently. It is a quote by Greg Reid encouraging us to turn our dreams into goals. Let me tell you that it was one of the hardest lessons for me to understand because I thought the exercise of writing down dreams was absolutely pointless. In fact, the main reason for this is that the first time I wrote down my dreams nothing happened or so I thought. The reality is that I did not have a good coach the first time I wrote down my dreams. 2. Goal Not Big Enough Do you like playing small? What I mean by that is the fact that instead of making a plan for a big dream you start by going small. For example, you may think that your goal is to be healthy which isn't a bad thing but is that really exciting? “The size of your dreams must always exceed your current capacity to achieve them. If your dreams do not scare you, they are not big enough."Ellen Johnson Sirleaf While your health is your wealth it is more important to take the dream of being healthy and quantify it. How will you know when you have reached to goal of being healthy? Is it by what you can wear, do or be? For example, I would like to drop two dress sizes in 12 months is a dream that can be scary simply because it will take a transformation to get there. Also, being healthy means different things to different people so ensure the dream is big,

Excerpt from the Online Easter Retreat 2020 Have you investigated whether a thought is actually You, whether a feeling is actually You ? Not you as in 'Oh, that stuff belongs to somebody else', no 'You'! You are beyond is all. You!  Death is only of a thought system as an identification. You are the very Presence. Then the case :"Oh I was present yesterday.." just doesn't apply anymore. "Yes, I was present for a little while" doesn't apply anymore. You're either present or you're not. Then you'll begin to realise that Death and Presence are actually inescapable, because they are the same thing.  To be present is to no longer exist as a separate entity, and to die is no longer to be just somebody. You begin to realise you're living as a Totality and as Presence you can forever realise more of What You Are. In that you discover what you are not and that's the level that dies. Emptying the nobody then of image, of thinker, of the linear way of perceiving things but growing the ability to be able to go right to the beginning of time and even in a so-called future, but only as Presence. Do you want me to speak about that a little? How you can go into the future? When the vast Black emitted a speck of Light that seemed to consume the Black, and that speck of Light had such a brilliance, that within its brilliance without changing the speck, the brilliance began to form as Light, as energy and as matter, everything that was ever, ever possible. Ever possible. Thy will was already done. Everything and anything that was ever possible on any level is already done, including good and evil, including the 'One Good' which is beyond those dualities. Everything is already done. So, it's like you could pull out a segment right now in any of you and it would either burn your hands and you have to drop it or you could pick up your future and turn into it, because it's already done, because You are the One that already did!  So the future is quite simple. It's what's already done. How gorgeous that actually is, it's already done. It's just another level of You, unrealised.  You are to collect all the levels of you in good and evil to realise the 'One Good' that the good and evil come out of; the so called forces of opposites that grow the beings to have the power to realise the 'One Good' and to function the 'One Good' in the opposites and therefore bring out the opposites not in opposition but wholeness.  For even the 'One Good' wants to know all that ever can be. This is God and yet you are not God. You are beyond that too, unspeakably beyond that too. So then the future is very simple.. it's already done. And the past is very simple, it's already done. It's the Presence that's not already done. It's the Presence that's not already done, because it's the One that did it all, and that's Love.

You're literally lying to yourself if you think you're always going to be motivated! No one is always motivated.People get sensitive and hurt, when I say shit that hits close to home, but the truth is, you need to be stronger than your excuses.I get it, you're busy, you're tired, you're juggling a lot! But that attitude when it comes to working out & life, will only get you so far.The most successful people in life aren't relying on motivation to get shit done. They're planning for success. When I have no will power to do something I ask myself, "what can I do"? I'd rather compromise and get something done, then sit around feeling sorry for myself and accomplishing nothing.YOU are in control of your life. YOU are in control of what you CHOOSE to do. The reality is, this isn't you vs. me, or you vs. your neighbor. You NOT working out DOES NOT impact me, it impacts YOU. YOUR health, YOUR mental well being, YOUR energy levels. Make your choice. You might say, doing nothing today is exactly what I need to do today. That's fine! There’s nothing wrong with that! Don't feel guilty if that's your choice. But own it. Make it a CHOICE, not your circumstance.

How to set up your Website so it Makes MoneyThis podcast and episode is for service based businesses. We do not help businesses that sell products through an online store or traditional Retail shop. The concepts are the same so you can still listen but this is aimed more at the service based businesses. You do not want a pretty site. You want a site the is designed for conversions .Yes you still want it to look good, but just looking good does not help the business. What is conversion based website?1. One that makes an offer and has a way to contact you above the fold.2. One that is optimized to get you the best results in the search engines. Make a call to action. That call to action needs to come in two formsGive them a way to contact youNot just a contact us link. Needs to at least also include a click to call buttonMake them an offerThink about the coupons you offer and make it evergreenMake the site Search Engine friendlyThis is an overview. Not an in depth walkthrough. That will come in training videos that we have for free and in our business training courses.Use wordpress - at the time of this podcast it is the best choice.Use a Wordpress Optimized hosting platformUse a CDN Content Delivery NetworkGet an SSL CertificateMake sure the site is SSL ReadyUse the Astra themeUse elementor and elementor proUse schema pro plugin by the astra teamUse a SEO plugin like Yoast SEOWe currently use SEO Press on our site and Yoast SEO on client sitesUse a caching pluginWe use Rocket CacheFree Version would be W3 Total CacheMake sure that you have a Privacy Policy and Term on the siteIf you have a location that a customer visits make sure you have the location address on the site and a google map embedded. This is an honest conversation I had with 5 friends in my life about their experience of singleness, annoying clichés they hear, and what they do with loneliness. I also share my story through playing a few songs that have shaped my year of heartbreak. Here are the song lyrics for reference:1. "I Will Love You Still" by: Titus HaugI am overwhelmedAnd I can't understandWith our shoes all worn downI'm westward boundWhat about all this love we've learned to have?Seasons will pass, but our love is gonna lastI will love you still yes I always willI will love you still yes I always willI will love you still yes I always willI will love you still yes I always will2. "Two" by: Sleeping at LastI don't even know where to startAlready tired of trying to recall when it all fell apartI just want to love you, to love you, to love you wellI just want to learn how, somehow, to be loved myselfLike a force to be reckoned withA mighty ocean or a gentle kissI will love you without any strings attachedAnd what a privilege it is to loveA great honor to hold you up3. "First Week" by: Vera BlueI am on the very first week away from youNot a lot to say or doI see you in the placesWhere I once held your skinThere's nowhere I can goWhere we haven't beenIn the middle of a heartbreak song that I'm writing for youI find words to escape with all the courage I grewBut I feel you pulling and my spirit breaks againI'll be wholeBut I don't know when4. "Motion Sickness" by: Phoebe BridgersI hate you for what you didAnd I miss you like a little kidI faked it every time but that's alrightI can hardly feel anythingI hardly feel anything at allI have emotional motion sicknessSomebody roll the windows downThere are no words in the English languageI could scream to drown you out5. "Miscarriage" by: Said The WhaleWhen you bled out blood like it was both of usAnd I held your beautiful bodyWhen you put on a brave face for my familyAnd we had ThanksgivingAnd I'm thinking how happy it seemed my mother wasWhen she thought that I'd be a fatherHow we gathered our friends aroundAnd broke the news like a couple of foolsTell me how to actAll I wanna do is make it alrightI want to tell you that you're beautifulAnd everything is fine6. "Half As Good As You" by: Tom Odell feat. Alice MertonI'm sick to death of eating breakfast on my ownStarting out my daily blues I'm sick to death of spilling coffee on my phone Scrolling through pictures of youI'd like to say that maybe we could work it outBut I know that it's no useIf I ever find anyone half as good as youI think maybe that will do I kissed a stranger in the hallway late last nightHe was wearing purple shoesI asked him when he kissed me, could he close his eyes? But he just looked at me confusedAnd people say my expectations are too highBut I'm not asking for the moonIf I ever find anyone half as good as youI think maybe that would doThanks for all your support. Great guest this week-- Marilyn Cox, Vice President of Marketing and CRM at The Second City. In this episode, "Practical MarTech: How to Make Marketing Technology Work for You (Not against You)" Marilyn gives us some great lessons from improv as well as active listening for B2B sales and marketing. The biggest thing, one of the core principles of improvisation is the idea of yes-and. So it is the idea of recognizing and building on the ideas of others. And a lot of us don't want to admit it, but we do have a knee-jerk reaction to shoot down an idea when somebody brings something up. And so the idea of yes-and is really at the root of everything we teach, and work on. Many other improv principles are built into this. So the idea of bring a brick and not a cathedral-- that you are not having to do this by yourself. Rely on the team and the ensemble you have around you... there are just so many really fantastic ideas that help you engage and interact with not just those people internal to your organization, but also people that you are trying to reach, you're trying to communicate to, and those you are trying to better understand. I also ask Marilyn how she built her marketing technology stack at Second City.  How do we build what we need to manage our business? and to build our own scalable predictable sales pipeline for that?--What were your priorities? When you've been given a blank slate, how do you approach that? Read the full transcript on the Heinz Marketing blog starting Mon. 9/2 6am PST.

IT 040 Podcast Information: Listen in iTunes HereListen Here Without iTunes Transcript available belowHey lightworkers, it’s Mona Lisa and it’s Intuitive Tuesday, the radio show helping intuitives, introverts and empaths manifest the conscious and abundant life and business that they desire.I want to talk today about a belief that’s been rearing its ugly head in my own life, and in the lives of so many of the women I speak with on a daily basis (on from word on the street from the FB group and in conversations with you!).I’ve been hearing variations of the belief that we must struggle and work really hard and slave away in order to be successful. And this belief can show up in all kinds of different ways and it can be very detrimental when starting a business, or when continuing a business that has already seen a level of success, or when you’re desiring to uplevel. So in any stage of business, this belief can show up and do some serious damage. The first thing I wanted to do is bring some awareness of this belief in your own life.If this is coming up for you… see if this resonates with you in your core and if this feels like something that you’re struggling with. Some ways that this belief can show up:Believing that being busy and stressed out is glorified (even if you don’t consciously believe that!), it can show up by being busy and not being present, and rushingBeing really inspired and motivated to work on your business at first... and then putting on the brakes and self-sabotaging because a part of you believes that because success is right around the corner, it means you’ll have to struggle and the hard, hard work and tears is right there waiting for youNot being able to relax in the things that you’ve already created in your life… it doesn’t necessarily need to be in business if you’re new. Maybe there are other areas of your life where you have worked hard and have a lot of things that you’ve accomplished and feel proud of.Where in your life can you put down this go-getting energy and instead sit in the appreciation of what you’ve already created?Take baby steps in celebrating what you’ve already done, what you’re already rocking in other areas of your life before you do this with your business and money mindset.I want to differentiate here – it’s not that you don’t have to work hard.In the book Think And Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill, he talks about how money doesn’t have to be this hard work/labor/burden type of thing in order for it to come to you.But there does need to be action you do need to be taking consistent action, you do need to be setting up your structures, and speaking to your tribe and being visible, and sometimes that process isn’t enjoyable... nothing is going to be 100% OMG I love doing X all the time.I don’t know what the pieces for you are in your business that you don’t necessarily enjoy, but that’s not to say that it needs to be a struggle and a burden, and feeling like “OMG this absolutely sucks and my blood and sweat and tears are going into this journey, and I need to not go to sleep and work 24 hours in a row, and make my hormones imbalanced, and gain a bunch of week and not take care of myself and work myself to the bone so that I can be successful!”If you’ve already started a business and if you feel like this is self-sabotaging you, or if you’ve already received a level of success and you aren’t able to experience it, and this whole topic is resonating with you, then I first want you to focus on awareness. In what ways is this belief of struggle = success, showing up in your life? What is it making you do or not do? Is it making you really go for it in your business and slow down, or be in overwhelm, or stay stuck in perfection? How is this specifically showing up in your business and life?Be willing to examine the belief and really see the repercussions that this belief and then holding on to it for dear life, is having on your on your business. As they come up, be willing to challenge them, you can journal about it, and if you have a coach, share it with your coach. Really be willing to call it out – don’t let it be in hiding anymore.Make it a big deal.Make this belief showing up in your life be a big deal, call it out! Call it out to a coach, call it out to a friend, journal it, and call it to the surface so you can then see how it’s affecting your life. Then ask yourself, what are the news beliefs that you’d like to have instead of this one of success is struggle. What is the new belief you’d like to have? Then begin to choose those new beliefs in that moment as your old belief comes out.It will be a process of showing your old belief the door, allowing it to exit, and then creating space for your new belief to blossom.Choose beliefs like… “success feels good, success comes easily to me, successful flows to me, I am already successful.” Make affirmations about them and really belief and feel them as you say it.And ask yourself, where in your life can you allow yourself to experience more happiness for what you’ve already achieved? Where doesn’t it need to be a struggle where you’re still making it a struggle? Where can you experience more deep gratitude and more presence in your life? It’s in the every day moments where I realize I’m hanging on to my old beliefs, it’s not always on the meditation pillow, or during an epiphany in yoga, sometimes it’s when I’m making tea or making dinner. In the moments when you catch yourself acting a certain way because of your belief, remember you can choose otherwise. You have the power to choose in every moment, and that’s what Gabby Bernstein calls a miracle – that instant shift in perspective, instead of choosing fear, choosing love.
