Programledare och avsnittsmakare: Vendela LundbergProducent: Patrick StaneliusLjudmix: Fredrik NilssonI programmet hörs ljudklipp från: MGM, ABC, The David Frost Tapes, HBO Max Elizabeth Taylor The Lost Tapes, Around the world of Mike Todd, HBOs Bright Lights, The making of Cleopatra, 60 minutes, The Warners - a candidates lifestyle, Mavis on 4, Saturday Night Live, The Larry King Show, The Oprah Winfrey Show och GLAAD.

Episode 292 is the fifth episode of our mini-series on the Tippit murder.  David Belin, the celebrated Warren Commission attorney called  it the "Rosetta Stone" of the JFK assassination. It may very well be... just that! In  this  episode we take a step back and attempt to provide an overview of the problems in the case and the areas and issues  to be mindful of as we progress through the remainder of the series. Episode 5 gives a real peak at what is to come next. This episode also begins a  process of piecing  evidence in the Tippit case together and shedding light on critical issues surrounding the assassination investigation as a whole.  In this mini-series, we examine the evidence, and delve into the bewildering array of contradictory eyewitness testimonies, from those who struggled to identify Oswald, to others like Aquilla Clemens, who bravely reported seeing not one, but two men at the murder scene, neither resembling Oswald. And we hear of witnesses that were subsequently threatened into silence or submission. We'll review the  questionable ballistics evidence: bullets and shells of different manufacturers with marks that mysteriously vanished, and a chain of custody so compromised it renders the evidence highly suspect. And then, there's the enigma of Oswald's wallet, containing his ID and an alias, inexplicably found at the Tippit murder scene by Dallas police Captain Westbrook, even as the official story claims it was taken from Oswald upon his arrest at the Texas Theatre. We begin with a group of core episodes that cover the murder itself. And then we work our way backwards and forwards...finally capturing Lee Harvey Oswald at the Texas Theatre. This raises uncomfortable questions about the Dallas Police Department itself. We  scrutinize the actions of officers like Captain William Westbrook and Sergeant Gerald Hill, whose movements, statements, and handling of evidence on November 22nd, 1963, appear less like routine police work, and more like a deliberate effort to frame Lee Harvey Oswald. Was this simply incompetence, or did elements within the DPD actively participate in a cover-up? And what of J.D. Tippit himself? We will  cover details about his personal life: a financially burdened veteran suffering from war trauma, a man  with an alleged "dark side" and connections to the right-wing underworld, including Jack Ruby.  We'll track his frantic, agitated behavior and unusual movements in the hour before his death…movements which  suggest he was not merely on routine patrol, but actively searching for someone, possibly Oswald, under direct orders—orders that mysteriously bypassed official police radio channels. And of course…all of this has  lead some very well respected  researchers such as John Armstrong  to theorize about a "two Oswalds" scenario in this murder, where multiple individuals resembling Oswald played roles in a larger deception.

Please join us in prayer for the Kirk family, friends, Turning Point USA and the United States of America. 15:20 - The Daniel 9 End Times Prophecy Podcast Begins Daniel 9 reveals one of the most powerful end times prophecies in the Bible—the 70 Weeks Prophecy. In the midst of Daniel's prayer, the angel Gabriel delivers a precise timeline pointing to the coming of the Messiah. This prophecy not only predicted the exact day of Jesus' triumphal entry into Jerusalem but also proves the accuracy and reliability of God's Word in unfolding history. The 70 Weeks not only confirm Christ's first coming but also point to the future, highlighting the final week that ties directly into end times prophecy. This chapter connects Daniel's prayer, Gabriel's revelation, and God's plan for Israel into one clear picture of His sovereignty. For anyone seeking to understand biblical prophecy, Christianity, and the times we are living in, Daniel 9 offers powerful insight into how God is moving in both history and the days to come. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The law, passed in 2021 after Joe Biden flipped Georgia blue in 2020, also limits drop boxes, requires ID for absentee voting, and bans giving food or water to voters in line. JFK The Enduring Secret

Play Episode Listen Later Sep 11, 2025 25:26

Episode 291  is the fourth  episode of our mini-series on the Tippit murder.  It is completely dedicated to the story of witness Acquilla Clemons.  David Belin, the celebrated Warren Commission attorney called this murder the "Rosetta Stone" of the JFK assassination. It may very well be... just that! In  this  episode we continue with coverage at the crime  scene and address a little known witness that the authorities sidestepped. She was discovered by Vincent Salandria working with Mark Lane at the time. Mrs. Clemons eventually (and  reluctantly) participated in several interviews... including one with Mark Lane in his quest to produce the book (and later the film) Rush to Judgement. She is considered a key but controversial witness in that her account differs markedly from the official witnesses interviewed by the authorities. That day, she saw two men at the scene, one short and kind of chunky and one who was tall. After the shooting, one  of the men motioned to the other, and then  both went in different directions down 10th street. This narrative was embraced by certain researchers including John Armstrong who integrated it with his complex theory of the two Oswalds. She is corroborated by several others including witness Frank Wright and an anonymous letter written to Playboy magazine by a person who claimed that he was also there at the scene and that at least six others witnessed the same thing. Other witnesses who were part of the official record  (such as Virginia Davis and Sam Guinyard)  may have seen elements of what she saw. These first few episodes of the mini-series provide  a deep dive into those events at the crime scene itself. There is so much more to come. In this mini-series, we examine the evidence, and delve into the bewildering array of contradictory eyewitness testimonies, from those who struggled to identify Oswald, to others like  todays focus on Aquilla Clemons, who bravely reported seeing not one, but two men at the murder scene, neither resembling Oswald. And we hear of witnesses such as Mrs. Clemons that were subsequently threatened into silence or submission. And of course…all of this has  lead some very well respected  researc

Episode 36: Center for Arizona Policy, Inc., et al. v. Arizona Secretary of State, et al.Center for Arizona Policy, et al. v. Arizona Secretary of State, et al., argued before the Arizona Supreme Court on September 11, 2025. Argued by Andrew Gould (on behalf of Center for Arizona Policy, Inc., et al.) and Eric Fraser and Alexander Samuels on behalf of Arizona. Background of the case [from the Institute for Free Speech amicus brief]: Proposition 211 imposes sweeping disclosure rules unlike anything seen before. On every metric, the law expands on its predecessors. It covers more people, more speech, for longer time. Where other laws narrow, Proposition 211 widens. It is a drastic evolution in compelled disclosure—and one that should not survive constitutional scrutiny. But what kind of scrutiny even applies? The First Amendment requires what's called “exacting scrutiny.” See Ams. for Prosperity Found. v. Bonta, 594 U.S. 595, 607 (2021) (“AFPF”). It's a high bar in theory—part of the increasingly convoluted “tiers of scrutiny” the federal courts have adopted. Under this standard, a law's constitutionality often boils down to “if, in the judge's view, the law is sufficiently reasonable or important.” United States v. Rahimi, 602 U.S. 680, 731 (2024) (Kavanaugh, J., concurring). Yet that “kind of balancing approach to constitutional interpretation” is inconsistent with “what judges as umpires should strive to do.” Id. (Kavanaugh, J., concurring).  Fortunately, “the Arizona Constitution provides broader protections for free speech than the First Amendment.” Brush & Nib Studios, LC v. Phoenix, 247 Ariz. 269, 281 (Ariz. 2019). Those protections do not depend on courts weighing the value of amorphous governmental interests. Rather, Arizona's Constitution guarantees that “[e]very person may freely speak, write, and publish on all subjects.” Ariz. Const. art. II, § 6. And this Court has taken a “more literal application” of that language, mandating that courts “avoid, where possible, attempts to erode [these rights] by balancing them against . . . governmental interests,” Mountain States Tel. & Tel. Co. v. Ariz. Corp. Comm'n, 160 Ariz. 350, 357 (Ariz. 1989).  That means laws like Proposition 211 do not live or die based on the freewheeling balancing that tests like “exacting scrutiny” rely on. If the law burdens the right to speak freely, it violates the Arizona Constitution unless the state can show it prevents abuse. See Plaintiffs' Supp. Br. at 5–6. And since no one disputes that Proposition 211's expansive disclosure rules deter protected speech, and no one argues that it targets abusive speech, it cannot survive scrutiny.  Statement of the issues [from the Arizona Supreme Court docket listing]: Is the Voters' Right to Know Act facially unconstitutional under the Ariz. Constitution? If not, did the court of appeals properly dismiss Plaintiffs-Appellants' as-applied challenge?Resources: Proposition 211 Language Institute for Free Speech Amicus Brief Institute for Free Speech Press Release The Institute for Free Speech promotes and defends the political speech rights to freely speak, assemble, publish, and petition the government guaranteed by the First Amendment. Send us a textWhat's the point of gates, guards, and security cameras if you're letting hundreds of unscreened workers into your community?  On this week's episode of Take It To The Board podcast, host Donna DiMaggio Berger talks with security expert Mark Hall to reveal the alarming blind spot in most residential communities' protection plans. After spending over two decades in law enforcement, Mark identified a critical vulnerability: communities invest heavily in perimeter security while opening their gates to thousands of unknown service providers each year. This realization, coupled with a horrifying incident where an air conditioning technician with a criminal record took a family hostage, led him to create the Safe Communities Vendor ID Program. The program's findings are eye-opening. Since 2016, they've identified and prevented 81 registered sex offenders and over 900 recently convicted burglars and thieves from accessing participating communities. Donna and Mark walk listeners through the program's three-tiered screening protocol, which includes five-year bans for theft-related offenses, ten-year bans for violent crimes, and lifetime bans for sexual offenders and homicide perpetrators. They explain how the program accommodates immigrant workers through foreign government ID verification, addresses identity verification challenges, and operates without cost to associations or residents.  If your community is serious about security, listen now to learn how you can close this critical gap. Conversation Highlights Include:The security gaps in the marketplace that inspired the creation of the Safe Communities Vendor ID programDetails on the program's screening protocolsHow Safe Communities communicates with vendors after screening employees, including reports and follow-upsAddressing concerns about second chances for individuals with prior convictionsThe frequency with which employers fail to use rigorous screening protocolsTraining programs and ongoing evaluations offered to vendors to stay updated on best practicesSafeguards in place to avoid mistaken identity and minimize legal liabilityHow the program has grown since its inception in 2016Vendor screening expansion into industries beyond community associationsRelated Links:Podcast: Checking In On Background Checks: What's In, What's Out and What's Questionable? with Robert E. Asa Ellerup Speaks: Why She Still Defends Rex in the Gilgo Beach Case What does it mean when a wife says that telling her husband “I love you” would hurt him? In a recent documentary, Asa Ellerup, wife of accused Gilgo Beach serial killer Rex Heuermann, gave interviews that stunned audiences with her continued loyalty, denial, and outright disbelief. “He's a family man. He didn't do this,” she insists—even as evidence piles up. In this segment, we break down Asa's words, her courtroom reactions, and her refusal to see the mounting proof. Then we contrast that with the most chilling discovery from Rex's own basement: a typed “murder blueprint.” The document contained sectioned lists straight out of an engineering project plan: Problems: DNA, fingerprints, blood stains. Supplies: Rope (“heavy rope for neck”), saws, plastic drop cloths, acid and lye. Dump sites: GPS coordinates for multiple disposal locations. Targets: “Small women,” “remove tattoos,” “remove ID marks.” This wasn't random scribbling. It was methodical. It even included reminders like “get sleep before hunt” and “use pushpins to hang drop cloths.” Cold, calculated, and terrifying in its simplicity. We unpack what it means when someone needs a checklist for murder, why the rigidity points to an engineering brain, and how denial in a spouse can cross from blindness into complicity. Add in the neighbors and coworkers who described Rex as aggressive, unsettling, and Jekyll-and-Hyde, and you get the full picture: a man hiding behind a suburban façade, and a wife who still insists it's all a mistake. This is where the case stops being about “maybe” and starts staring us in the face. When you have lists that literally say “rope for neck,” how much more does it take? CMO Confidential: The Disparate Impact of Privacy Policy — with Dr. Dan McCarthy (UMD) on ATT, CLV & CACWhat happens to your revenue when attribution breaks? In this episode, 5x CMO Mike Linton sits down with Dr. Dan McCarthy (Professor of Marketing, University of Maryland; leading practitioner of Customer Lifetime Value) to unpack Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) and its ripple effects on marketing performance. Dan shares new research showing how the loss of a Facebook customer ID degraded click-through, CAC, and revenue—with disproportionate pain for smaller, Facebook-heavy brands. We dig into why averages kill profit (stop using blended CAC/CLV!), how channel-specific, time-varying metrics drive smarter allocation, and the practical playbook for marketers in a post-IDFA world. Episode 290 is the third episode of our mini-series on the Tippit murder.  David Belin, the celebrated Warren Commission attorney called  it the "Rosetta Stone" of the JFK assassination. It may very well be... just that! In  this  episode we continue with coverage at the crime  scene and begin to educate ourselves on exactly what happened at 10th and Patton. These first few episodes of the mini-series provide  a deep dive into those events at the crime scene itself. There is so much more to come. And of course…all of this has  lead some very well respected  researchers such as John Armstrong  to theorize about a "two Oswalds" scenario in this murder, where multiple individuals resembling Oswald played roles in a larger deception.Yes…there is a grave possibility that   the true "Rosetta Stone" of November 22nd, 1963, might just lie in the quiet Dallas suburb of Oak Cliff, waiting for us to finally put the pieces together. This is a wander I've created especially for you…and of all the wanders you have taken with me, this may be the most thrilling of all! And don't worry, as the fall winds turn cooler, we will all be vacationing once again, in Mexico…I think  you know what I mean by that. But our new wander takes precedent. As usual, you'll experience the event with ear popping detail, as you listen up to what really happened. So stay tuned, and keep an eye out for what I think may be one of the best miniseries that we've done yet. It will be on the airwaves before you know it, and please let your friends in on this  one too…folks…you just cant write this stuff…
