Nach den Kämpfen an der Mittelmeerküste zwischen Verbänden der neuen syrischen Regierung und Anhängern Assads kam es unerwartet schnell zu einem Abkommen mit den Kurden. Damit kommt die Zentralregierung in Damaskus in der Festigung ihrer Macht einen großen Schritt voran.Ein Standpunkt von Rüdiger Rauls.Neue KämpfeEinige Wochen war es ruhig um Syrien gewesen. Die neue Regierung unter al-Scharaa hatte erste Erfolge erzielt durch die Duldung der westlichen Regierungen, die ihm, dem Islamisten, Erleichterungen zugestanden, die man der syrischen Bevölkerung unter der Herrschaft von Assad verweigert hatte. Sanktionen wurden aufgehoben oder deren Aufhebung in Aussicht gestellt, wenn der Prozess der Integration aller gesellschaftlichen Gruppen zu einer neuen syrischen Gesellschaft so voranschreitet, wie der politische Westen es sich vorstellt.Die Ruhe, die den westlichen Medienkonsumenten vermittelt wurde, schien auch tatsächlich Ausdruck einer Beruhigung der Lage zu sein. Syrien war aus den Schlagzeilen verschwunden, bis es für viele überraschend zu heftigen Kämpfen in der Küstenregion kam. Vordergründiger Auslöser waren koordinierte Angriffe von Teilen der alten Armeeführung und anderen Anhängern der gestürzten Regierung Assad auf Kräfte der neuen Machthaber.In wie weit Spannungen zwischen den Volksgruppen, besonders betroffen waren die Alawiten, ausschlaggebend waren, kann angesichts der Berichtslage aus Syrien nicht klar gesagt werden. Auf Grund dessen ist auch schwer einzuschätzen, ob der Aufstand der alten Militärs eine Reaktion auf das Vorgehen von Kräften der Regierung al-Scharaa gegen die Alawiten war. Vielleicht aber haben auch Teile der Gesellschaft ihren ersten Schock durch dessen überraschende Machtübernahme überwunden und versuchen nun, die früheren Verhältnisse wieder herzustellen.Unter der Führung eines ehemaligen Kommandeurs der 4. Division hatte eine „Gruppe, die sich Militärischer Rat zur Befreiung Syriens nennt“ (1) den Sturz des „dschihaddistischen Regimes“ (2) angekündigt. Zuvor war bereits die „Gründung einer Widerstandsgruppe namens Küstenschutzregiment“(3) verkündet worden. Die „Anhänger des alten Regimes riefen zu einem Volksaufstand auf“ (4). Das spricht dafür, dass sich Teile der Gesellschaft unter der Führung früherer Militärs zum Widerstand organisieren.Anscheinend aber ist es der neuen Führung in Damaskus gelungen, den Aufstand niederzuschlagen, nachdem frische Kräfte in die Küstenregion geschickt worden waren. Im Moment sieht es nicht so aus, als könnten die Aufständischen eine breitere Unterstützung in der syrischen Gesellschaft finden.Die ausgezehrte Bevölkerung hofft, dass den neuen Herrschern mehr Unterstützung aus dem Ausland entgegengebracht wird als der Regierung Assad. Diese Hoffnung würde ein Sieg der alten Garde zunichte machen. Die Türkei jedenfalls verurteilte die Angriffe auf die Regierungstruppen, auch Saudi-Arabien und Qatar unterstützen weiterhin die neuen Machthaber.Auch der politische Westen scheint lieber auf jene Kräfte zu setzen, die man früher als Islamisten bekämpft hatte. Die Meinungsmacher der Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung machen Werbung für Al-Scharaa: „Er ist auf lange Sicht der Einzige, unter dem ein stabiles Syrien zumindest vorstellbar ist … Mit ihm muss der Westen also einen Modus Vivendi finden“ (5).Ein Islamist als Machthaber, der abhängig ist vom Westen, scheint ihnen allemal sympathischer zu sein als ein säkularer Assad, der aber von Moskau gestützt wird. Doba korony ako úľava pre introvertov, Modus Vivendi nie je postkatastrofická kniha, Zuzana je pri písaní ranný vták, kritiky na svoje knihy číta iba letmo, Anasoft nominácia bola super radosť, ale na spyšnenie to nebolo, VŠMU a slovenská literatúra, o čom je umelecká kritika a či si môže vystačiť iba s rozumom, aj vulgarizmy sú slová zo slovníka a nie sú to najhoršie, čo vám môže niekto povedať, o čom je práca redaktorky a editorky, prečo dnes nikto nechce byť dramaturgom, o tom, prečo je odobrázkovaná a na záver zopár odporúčaní na knihy.

I sitt andra möte med Mats Nileskär berättar 070 Shake bland annat om hur hon kämpade mot perfektionismen under arbetet med albumet "Modus Vivendi". Injicerade sina udda melodier och säregna pop/trap/R&B-tolkning med något förvrängt, och hittade något vackert i förstörelsen.

This one's inspired by the unreleased Marilyn Monroe picture of the same name, as well as the Jack & Diane romcom 'Something's Gotta Give,' although neither Golden nor Diane Keaton (the DJ) have ever seen either. We hope the mix recasts familiar sounds and songs in a context you might not have considered, meanwhile delivering bits and pieces which you might have never heard through a nostalgic filter. We've decided a long time ago that genre-bound mixes might be easy to mix, because of similar instrumentation, tempo, themes, lyrics, etc. but typically feel flat, consistent to a fault, and....easy. We've also come to the conclusion that there's nothing more deflating than reading a track list before you hear a mix, so that's why you don't see one. Will gladly share the tracks with you, though.
