Natürlich geht es auch um die typischen Cringe-Momente, die wir alle kennen – ob man nun ein Smombie ist oder einfach nur den Alpha-Kevin in sich trägt. Zwischendurch gibt's einen I-bims-Moment, und der Chillkröte-Lifestyle wird durch das obligatorische fly sein unterbrochen. Die beiden lassen keinen Raum für Langeweile – ein bisschen Pyrotechnik hier, ein Side Eye da, und natürlich darf die Tinderella-Story nicht fehlen. Digga, das ist einfach nur lit! Aber auch ernste Themen kommen nicht zu kurz: Ob Schabernack mit Swag oder die Lauch-Diskussion, dem Niveaulimbo werden keine Grenzen gesetzt. Selbstverständlich wird auch ein Blick auf die moderne Discopumper-Kultur und ihre Verbindung zum klassischen Bauchbindenmonster geworfen. Phil & C-Bas stellen klar, dass es ohne die nötige Flatrate-Party-Erfahrung schwer ist, wirklich zu verstehen, was es heißt, rumoxidieren zu können, ohne dabei in die Kategorie Stockente zu fallen. Außerdem philosophieren die Jungs darüber, wie man in einer Tamagotchi-Generation trotzdem den Hackbällchen-Vibe bewahren kann, ohne in den Strudel der Facebook-Profilierungsneurose zu geraten. Phil und C-Bas schaffen es, sowohl Alpha-Kevin-Situationen als auch Chillkröte-Vibes auf eine Art zu kombinieren, die einfach wild ist. Jeder YOLO-Spruch trifft ins Schwarze, während die Tinderella-Geschichten den perfekten Side-Eye-Humor mitbringen. Die Folge ist voller flyer Momente und brilliert durch die unvergleichliche Dynamik, die keine Sekunde langweilig wird – ein echter Babo-Move! Mit einem "Nein Pascal, ich denke nicht" und ein bisschen stolz wie Bolle verabschieden sich Phil und C-Bas, aber natürlich nicht, ohne noch ein letztes "Hölle nein" in die Runde zu werfen. Fazit: Diese Folge ist geilon, voller Schere-Momente zwischen Cringe und Gönnung – perfekt für alle Bros, die wissen, wie stabil der YOLO-Lifestyle ist.

Mittlerweile gibt es sogar eine „Bibi Blocksberg“-Folge, die sich ausschließlich auf das Smartphone konzentriert. Antje und Stefan analysieren in dieser Podcastausgabe, wie schwierig es ist, aus den Neustädter:innen keine Smombies zu machen und trotzdem auf der Höhe der Zeit zu bleiben.

Jedes Jahr wählt eine vom Langenscheidt-Verlag beauftragte Jury das Jugendwort des Jahres. Im Jahr 2015 wurde das Wort „Smombie“ ausgewählt. Was bedeutet es, warum hat gerade dieser Begriff das Rennen gemacht hat und was haben Ampeln damit zu tun?

Da "Smombie" ein Kofferwort ist, wird in dieser Folge auch ein bisschen gekoffert. Gerold ist in diesem Fall der Kofferer, Monica nimmts gelassen. Es geht um Mütter, die mehr aufs Handy schauen als in den Kinderwagen. Es geht um Fußgänger, die von ihrer Umwelt nichts mitbekommen - und da hat Gerold einen Vorschlag. Doch was genau hat der mit Auto, Zebrastreifen und blauen Knien zu tun?Ratet doch einmal, wie viele unsoziale Kanäle Monica und Gerold haben? Egal, was ihr euch denkt, sie haben mehr. Und dann wirds auch noch g'scheit: Gerold beweist, dass er Fremdwörter kennt und erklärt Obsoleszenz ... Ein Handyverbot bis zum 12. Lebensjahr! - Das forderte kürzlich der Psychologe Dr. Christian Montag in der „sternTV am Sonntag“-Sendung. Und Janine war live dabei. Als Mutter von drei Kindern war auch sie zur Talkrunde eingeladen. Der Psychologe kommt nicht ohne Grund mit diesem Verbot um die Ecke, er meint: Kinder hätten bei Eigennutzung keine Kontrolle, und der Umgang mit problematischen Inhalten gestalte sich ebenfalls schwierig. So weit, so stimmig. Nur: Wie umsetzen? Das Handy ist immer und überall. So ist das mittlerweile. Manche Eltern sagen sogar: „Ohne das Handy würde unser Leben nicht funktionieren.“ Wie realitätsfern ist die Forderung nach dem totalen Handyverbot also? Janine und Lola diskutieren: Sinn oder Unsinn? Wie sehr müssen die Eltern ran? - Ordentlich, meint Janine. Warum soll das Handy immer an allem Schuld sein?, fragt Lola: Bei Durchfall, Kopf- oder Periodenschmerzen - Schuld ist das Smartphone, ganz zu schweigen von Depressionen und Adipositas. Il dizionario Treccani ha introdotto da ieri la parola «smombie», coniata in Germania nel 2008. Per la Treccani «smombie» è «chi cammina per strada senza alzare lo sguardo dallo smartphone rischiando di inciampare, scontrarsi con altre persone, attraversare la strada. Vogliamo oggi capire quale sia il livello di "smombing" dei nostri ascoltatori. Wir treffen Smombies in U-Bahnen, in Warteschlangen und in Arztpraxen. Und, Hand auf's Herz: Greifen wir nicht auch als erstes oder zweites zum Handy, wenn wir morgens aufwachen? Dabei ist das Smartphone nur ein Mittel zum Zweck – wir konsumieren darüber hauptsächlich Medien, darunter Nachrichtenseiten, Social Media und Streaming-Plattformen. Aber auch Gaming ist für viele Nutzer ein gängiger Zeitvertreib. Alles schön und gut, solange es nicht in einer Abhängigkeit mündet. Das pathologische, also krankhafte Medien-Nutzungsverhalten bei Kindern und Jugendlichen nahm allerdings einer Studie der DAK und dem Universitätsklinikum Hamburg-Eppendorf zufolge zugenommen. Mediensucht wird seit Anfang 2022 auch offiziell als Krankheit anerkannt. Der Gräfelfinger Christoph Hirte musste sich eines Tages eingestehen: „Wir haben unseren Sohn an das Internet verloren.“ Aus dieser bitteren Erfahrung gründete er im Jahre 2008 den Selbsthilfeverein „Aktiv gegen Mediensucht“ in München.
