Raven has run 8 miles on South Beach Miami every single day since Jan 1, 1975 for one of the longest streaks in the world. Robert Kraft is quite a personality around Miami Beach and continues his ritual each day starting at the 5th Street lifeguard stand. He lives right by the ocean and spends the rest of his time writing songs and impressing the crowds around Muscle Beach. His kindness is genuine and it's no wonder he is such an influencer around Miami. This was an excellent conversation and we plan to visit Raven again in the future.

All the President's Minutes is a podcast where conversations about movies, journalism, politics and history meet. Each show we use the seminal and increasingly prescient 1976 film All The President's Men as a portal, to engage with the themes and the warnings of the film resonating since its release. For minute 75, I join Indiana born, pro-athlete, turned actor and top model, Bo Roberts. Bo and I talk about the doors of potential gigs slamming in your face, audition tradecraft and Bo's perceptive reading that the Bookkeeper's sister is opening the door as an act to free her sister of the burden of what she knows. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ About Bo Roberts ( https://www.imdb.com/name/nm4122690/bio?ref_=nm_ov_bio_sm ) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Fresh off the pages of Cosmo, GQ and Men's Health (among many others), Bo Roberts who is named one of the "50 Sexiest Men Alive," transitioned from modelling to acting. He has appeared various projects including Legendary Pictures/Noam Murro's "300: Rise of an Empire"; Fox's "The Mindy Project" and USA Network's "Burn Notice" and most recently in Lionsgate/Kevin Carraway's "Change of Command" with Michael Jai White and Steve Austin. Originally from Kentuckiana (southern Indiana), Bo was "seen" in South Beach Miami where he was discovered as a model and signed to an international contract; he then relocated to New York and Italy. At the dawn of the 1980's, the sun-kissed paradise of South Beach Miami was crumbling and overflowing with crime. It took a rag-tag group of artists, architecture fans, activists, and the coolest show in television history to turn the tide and show the world how magical Miami could be. This is the story of how master preservationist Barbara Capitman created the Art Deco District. This is the story of how Miami Vice forever changed the Magic City. This is the story of the *Magicians that Saved Miami.*
The names "Alcohol and Drug Addiction Recovery," "Addiction Treatment Delray," "Recovery House Delray Beach"South Beach Miami" is a nice way to describe the successful, alcohol and drug addiction treatment center in the South Florida area. You may want to consider this center for your next visit to Florida because you may need help getting your life back on track after being faced with an addiction issue."This Rehabilitation Center is a gem," says Andrea Hebert, who attended the same rehab center as many of her friends. "We saw a few people at a friend's party that were snorting something. We asked what it was and were informed that it was cocaine. When they came in, one friend was a snorting addict and in need of a new life, according to Hebert. "She said she had been in a car accident and her nose was broken and she would have to go through physical therapy so that she could walk," Hebert says.https://goo.gl/maps/kmgRemhoHufen4sP8https://goo.gl/maps/aQsK8iQWuWahTwi6Ahttps://goo.gl/maps/5MbvopxCNFWukeHq9https://t.co/sfI0FyloNa?amp=1https://t.co/QV1zfkXlRJ?amp=1https://t.co/zNOhRAoxwc?amp=1https://earth.google.com/web/data=Mj8KPQo7CiExV0NZU0RBR0M4UllWeDJCQ1ppMW40S2xGeFczMFFwM0QSFgoUMEMzQTgzMTYyOTE0MjQyOTBBOUMThey use a simple technique to assess members to see if they have a problem. Once a person has been tested, then they can be admitted."They use a system called detox," explains Weber. "It is like regular detox, but they separate the alcoholics and addicts from the non-addicts and you get to do your own detox."Family members that are interested in doing alcohol and drug addiction recovery, are expected to take one group session each week. They will have to stay sober and give up their alcohol and drugs by the end of the year. So, it is a win-win situation for those that are looking for a support group and alcohol and drug addiction recovery. To keep alcohol and drug addiction in check, the Family Council meetings are held weekly. When people join the rehab, they know they can come for an "induction" every Friday and Saturday, except for Sundays, when the group holds its regular meeting. We’re kicking off 2020 in the best way possible on my platform. Last week, I had the opportunity to get my good friend Lane Johnson from Aspen, and today, we have our South Beach / Miami extraordinaire Levi Meyer joining me on what will be an awesome episode of Real Takk. Like I said before, behind every business individual, there is a subconscious library of influences that shapes who we are. It’s easy to forget that our ideas are actually the manifestations of our life experiences. Our business work ethic & style is an outward expression of our past & current habits. Whether you’re running a real estate business engrossed in the fabric & culture of Aspen Colorado & its people, hiking up the Highland Bowl, hanging out at The Nell, taking clients out to Cloud 9, and skiing / fishing the back country while navigating the thousands of acres of White River National Forest like your back yard, or you’re a surfer broker that frequents Montauk & sips cocktails with clients at Gurneys , Real estate & any business in general is a summary of exactly that. And speaking of subconscious library of influences that shapes who you are as a business person, Levi is part of the cultural fabric of just that, but in Miami Florida. While he is a super broker in his own way, listing trophy properties like the Porsche Design Tower #2901, & closing waterfront lots & beachside homes off south beach, he can be seen hanging out at 1-800 lucky at The Wynwood, & taking his family on his boat through the ocean channels of Miami. Levi & I met in Aspen in the summer of 2014 when we opened up our first Compass office in Colorado. He’s not a winter guy what so ever, so I’m happy to have met him in a city where the primary activities are known for winter sports. He’s a Miami native that understands & appreciates the diverse & ever-changing landscape of South Florida. Throughout his dynamic real estate career, Levi has received numerous accolades including annual ‘Top Producer’, and ‘‘Most Innovative Marketing’ as well as media recognition for several record breaking sales. He’s 1 of 10 siblings, (he has 4 sisters & 5 brothers) grew up in his younger years in Virginia, and prior to real estate had stint as a Defense Contracting Manager working alongside the Department of Defense, sourcing $50M in goods to the US DOD in Iraq & Afghanistan. Levi is father of two & wife to Lauren. You may follow his personal IG at @levimeyerre and his business IG at: @themeyergroupRE
The Compass REtreat in South Beach was fire! Over 1600 agents and executives from around the country attended. We had incredible speakers like Steve Shull, Tom Ferry, Robert Reffkin and Leonard Steinberg, a fun beach party brunch with yoga, massage and IV treatment stations, a massive warehouse dance party in Wynwood and a fantastic day hanging out at the Miami Dolphins Hardrock stadium. The culture and ethos of this company is real. What you see is what you get. Hard working, forward thinking, kind hearted people trying to help everyone find their place in the world. If you're at Compass, like me, you are grateful. If you are not at Compass, GET HERE NOW and you'll never look back.

BEST OF 2017 Favorite cities: Vienna, Austria - This was a no brainer for Tamara as her favorite city for 2017. It was so clean and elegant and had great architecture, museums and food. Anaheim, California - Kim chose this city in California. Until recently she has always thought of Anaheim as Disneyland. This year she explored the downtown area and experienced its very southern California feel. Favorite city hotels: Avenue of the Arts - Kim stayed at this hotel in Costa Mesa, California. This hotel sits right across the Segerstrom Center that is the big performing arts center in Costa Mesa. The decor of the hotel room had a very modern feel and had a cute restaurant on site that had great lighting and seating for breakfast. Palais Hansen Kempinski - This hotel Tamara stayed at was in Vienna, Austria. Her family had a fabulous experience. Staying at this hotel was the full 5 star service, where they were greeted by name when entering and leaving. The employees were also so helpful with any information that was needed. The breakfast buffet was widespread and the nicest experience. Favorite beach hotels: Disney Aulani - Was Kim’s favorite beach hotel mostly in part due to the the location of the hotel and the surrounding beaches. Eden Roc Cap Cana - Tamara’s favorite hotel was one that she stayed at with her husband in the Dominican Republic. This was a great quiet getaway that can only be described as heaven. Favorite outside the city hotels: Basin Harbor Club Hotel - Is a hotel next to Lake Champlain in Vermont. This hotel is perfect for big family vacations, with different cabins along the lake. Mar Vista Cottages at Anchor Bay - This location is set off of the coast Highway 1 and is in Northern California. The Cottages are owned by a sweet couple that keeps them well kept and clean. They have live chickens so if you set out a basket by around 5pm, they would collect eggs for you to have in the morning as well as a garden with fresh herbs. Favorite history tours: The Jewish history tour Tamara and her family took in Budapest was her favorite tour experience starting with their great tour guide that shared some personal stories and it was an emotional journey. Kim loved her experience at the Cannery Row in Monterey, California, where she learned about the bridges that go over the road that used to be used for sending fish into the warehouses for canning. Favorite food tours: Walk Eat Nashville - Was Tamara’s favorite food tour this year out of the five that she has been on. The tour had a great variety. Theo Chocolate - Was Kim’s favorite food tour this year that is in Seattle, WA. This tour teaches you the history of Theo chocolate and the story behind it. Favorite meal: Kim’s favorite meal was at The C Restaurant and Bar which is located on Cannery Row in Monterey, CA. The whole experience from the service to the food quality and the view were fantastic. Tamara’s favorite meal was at The Bazaar by Jose Andres which is located by South Beach Miami, Florida. This was one of the best food experience she has had and it was very inventive and tasted fabulous. Favorite outdoor adventures: Tamara’s family loved the experience they had hiking in Copper Mountain in Colorado. Kim’s favorite trip was the Oars Adventure she took for a camping and water rafting experience. Out of the ordinary experiences: Kim loved the experiences she had at the Disney Aulani KA WA’A luau. Though this was very Disney, it still had the history and tradition that was a fun little experience. Tamara loved the experience of the Peabody Memphis Hotel where her daughter Hannah got to be the Honorary Duck Master. This hotel has ducks that live on the roof that every morning are led down the elevator and to the fountain where they stay during the day, and then at night they are led back up to the roof. Theme park experience: The Flight of Passage at Animal Kingdom in Orlando, Florida. This was the best ride that Tamara and her family have been on. It was worth the wait in line. Kim likes that Disneyland is starting a Max pass system instead of just Fast Pass. Favorite mother-daughter trips: Tamara and Hannah loved their civil rights road trip they took this year. Kim and Lizzy loved their Southern California trip where Lizzy got to experience some surf lessons. Then Kim and Amelia loved their trip to Estes Park Colorado where they got to explore the Rocky Mountain National Park there. Miami and South Beach were devastated by Hurricane Irma. How can all of us help even if we live outside the area or we just love to visit?John Daly and his Undercover Jetsetter cohost Susan Anzalone speak with Kelly.Let’s bring in our friend and contributor -- Kelly Edge. She is a celebrity interior designer. You’ve seen her on HGTV. You also saw that she helped Undercover Jetsetter on our tour of Miami and South Beach. And she plays in a lot of Celebrity-Golf events with me.Kelly talks about how things are improving. Most of the buildings, she says, survived without much damage. the problem was the trees knocking out power lines. And so far, the electricity is not back on. Still, she thinks Miami and South Beach will be ready for tourists by the time winter tourist season begins. We did this interview on Wednesday September 13.She also filled us on on a great restaurant she took us to -- the restaurant in a gas station -- El Carajo International Tapas and Wine. It is still there serving wine and tapas, but because it is at a gas station so many folks are trying to fill up but can't because there is no gas.We hope to get down there once South Beach Miami or back to show how people can support the area.

Heading to the IMN Conference again this coming weekend, which runs from May 1st to May 3rd in beautiful South Beach Miami, Florida! We review what the conference is all about, what it offers, and my plan to podcast LIVE from the networking sessions. You can review, sign up to attend, and learn more about the Single Family Rental Forum East here: https://www.imn.org/real-estate/conference/The-5th-Annual-Single-Family-Rental-Investment-Forum-East/Agenda.html Also, I digress into what a "Sandwich" Lease Option is and how it's an example of a No Money Down type deal and how you may utilize it in starting out in your investment business. Lastly but definitely not least, my goal to form an "Upper-Level" Mastermind group based in the Chicago area. I've been thinking on this for 2 years, and as one of good friends tells me, when I mention something multiple times and keep talking about it for years, it generally comes to fruition. I am calling out to all investors interested in being a part of this high level mastermind, which will meet monthly, during business hours, at private locations throughout the Chicago area. The goal is to discuss partnership opportunities, dealing with challenges, working together to become even more financially successful in the future. If you or someone you know are interested, email me at joe@tanisgroupllc.com

How to make your first million… “People have this stereotypical view that wealthy people should be glamorous. The glamour aspect doesn’t grab me. I’ve always believed that wealth isn’t just about what you can buy. Wealth is a like a four-legged table. The monetary aspect is just one leg. The other quadrant legs include emotional wealth, spiritual wealth and physical wealth. Real wealth is having an abundance of ideas and a strong belief system which underpins everything you do in life.” – Nik Halik In this episode, I interviewed multi-millionaire astronaut and international speaker Nik Halik Nik Halik is the founder and CEO of Financial Freedom Institute, Lifestyle Revolution, 5 Day Weekend and The Thrillionaires. He is a financial trainer with a passion for adventure. This latter interest has led him during the past decade to train as a cosmonaut in Russia, fly close to the edge of the atmosphere in a former Soviet Mig 29 fighter jet, travel to the bottom of the Atlantic Ocean to view the Titanic, tour with Bon Jovi with his rock band, HALO skydive jump off the summit of Mt Everest, climb into the crater of an exploding erupting volcano, and enter the hermit kingdom of North Korea to expose a sweatshop factory operating illegally for an American conglomerate. As a property investor, he has developed techniques and systems for generating significant passive income that enables him to enjoy what he calls his five-day weekend lifestyle. Today, Nik’s group of companies have financially educated over one million clients in over 57 countries. He has trekked to over 138 countries, whilst generating passive income building recurring subscription businesses, and investing in tech startups. He currently resides in Los Angeles, South Beach Miami and the Greek Islands. I am an only child born and raised in New York City. Both of my parents are second generation Italian American. They are hard working entrepreneurs’ who each own a successful business. They taught me a lot including hard work and the value of a person. I graduated from Hofstra University with a bachelor's Degree in Business. Two Years ago i went on Vacation to South Beach Miami and fell so much in love with it that i decided to make the big move!!!While living in Miami I got caught up in the lifestyle of eating right and working out all of the time. Even though my whole life I trained MMA (Mixed Martial Arts) and always lifted weights it inspired me to go to the next level. I now had a burning desire for the perfect physique. While Training in one of my crazy Beast mode sessions I was approached from a local photographer who asked if she could take some pics of me for her portfolio…And that’s when it all began… After that I started shooting with her weekly to get comfortable being in front of the camera.. It just made me even more motivated then I already was and I really started hitting the gym more and got really crazy with the nutrition aspect of weight lifting.. I went on to shoot with many photographers. I’ve been Fitness modeling for close to a year now and I am really on a mission to get my name out in 2011.. I hope to hit a few covers this year and possibly make a workout video. My ultimate goal is to eventually get into acting and would love to be on a reality show about fitness models which we are actually in the middle of working on in the present. The best way to describe me is I like Life in the Fast Lane!!! Fast cars, Hot Women, and living life to its fullest!!!
Talk about heating up the night. With Paul Italia and Pete Michael Stellato in da house, I am not sure I will be able to breathe. Paul Italia is 26 and currently lives in South Beach Miami making all of his dreams come true. Paul is originally from New York and is 100% Italian. Paul graduated from Hofstra University with a Bachelor's degree in Business. While vacationing in Florida two years ago he fell in love with the city and decided to stay. Joining in the health and fitness craze led Paul to being discovered while training for MMA, in what he calls “crazy Beast mode”. Paul has been a fitness model for a year and has been photographed several times by famed photographer Luis Rafael. Paul likes to live life in the fast lane, cars, women and living every day to its fullest. Pete Michael Stellato is 25 and currently lives in Florida. Pete originally from Springfield, MA followed an ex-gf to Florida and wound up staying. He comes from a big Italian family, but chose to leave home at the young age of 15 growing up in some rough circumstances Pete still managed to go straight into college after high school and is currently attending Nova Southeastern University and studying exercise science. Pete enjoys fitness, hip hop dancing and reading. He enjoys positive thinking books such as The Secret and The Four Agreements. A friend of Ian's introduced him to well-known photographer Jorge Freire and his modeling career has taken off.
