In this gripping episode, we welcome back frequent guest and forensic mental health expert Dr. Jerrod Brown to explore the devastating phenomenon of intra-familial homicide—when murder occurs within the home, at the hands of someone trusted and loved. From uxoricide (husbands killing wives) to parricide (children murdering parents), these crimes tear at the fabric of our social and emotional understanding. Why do they happen? How can we spot the warning signs? And what role does neurocriminology play in helping us make sense of the unthinkable?

Thanks for coming back! Here at our Bubble Bath Stories HQ, we personally love all our listeners and followers. Every now and then we may say the wrong thing, but seem to survive, nonetheless. This week x one of our favorite celebs is being tested from a gaff. Cardi B was online live looking over orders placed for her upcoming releases. A special pack came with merchandise and after noticing all the 3XL's sold out quick, she let out a comment that created little waves. Cardi wouldn't be the first to make such a mistake. Certainly won't be the last. On today's episode, your hosts go over thw details to the situation and the results on both ends. However, the real question at foot is the over exposure. There use to be a time when the only info you got a celebrity was what they released in People Magazine. Now, every minute we have a new personal detail on all singers and actors. Details that just chip away at the celebrity's aura and make them TOO relatable. Turns out, Stars! they're just like us. And we hate it. But anyways, you tell us:- Do celebrity apologies really mean anything?- Is going against a celebrity on Twitter the ultimate thirst move?- Manny Oso needs to know, were any 3XL people actually offended? This conversation shook me. Cheryl Hunter is a cowgirl from Colorado who was kidnapped as a teenager. Instead of letting that trauma define her she turned it into her mission. Now she's a four-time TED talk speaker who helps mission-driven experts gain audiences of millions through major media. But her journey to get there is what will blow your mind. After being abducted Cheryl spent over a decade hiding what happened to her. Pretending it never occurred. When she told her mom she was depressed her mom said go help someone who has it worse than you. So Cheryl started volunteering at elder care facilities. She met Holocaust survivors. War veterans. People who had been through unthinkable adversity. Some were hardened for life. Others lived happy productive lives. She started breaking down what worked and what didn't. Created a framework for overcoming adversity. The first time she shared her story publicly was terrifying. She worried people would see how dirty and ruined she was. Worried they'd ask why she didn't stay to get her attackers put in jail instead of running for her life. But she realized she could be the voice for people who felt too weak too ruined to stand up for themselves. She could show what's possible on the other side of trauma. This episode is about turning your biggest pain into your greatest purpose. About understanding that if you've got something on your heart that you want to share you have within you what it takes to fulfill it. And about recognizing that the moment we say yes to what's on our path it reveals its gifts to us.We Meet:Connect:Connect with Rick: https://linktr.ee/mrrickjordanConnect with Cheryl: https://cherylhunter.com/ Subscribe & Review to ALL IN with Rick Jordan on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/c/RickJordanALLINAbout Cheryl: Cheryl Hunter is a bestselling author, speaker, and media personality who shares her message worldwide on outlets including People Magazine, Goalcast, Dr.Phil, NBCNews, Dr. Oz, CNN, Fox, PBS, and more. Main character Dr. Valentina Hargrove is on a mission to prove once and for all that hockey players are modern-day cavemen. Her research? A rigorous, scientific analysis of their behavior. Her problem? Brock “The Rock” Thomson, captain of the Alexandria Eagles, who's as infuriatingly charming as he is undeniably intelligent. Brock's used to breaking records, not be a research model, but Dr. Val's experiment has him intrigued. The more time they spend together, the more he's determined to show her that not all hockey players fit her outdated hypothesis. And when her professional curiosity turns personal, Val is forced to ask herself: is she studying a player… or falling for one? A delightful mix of sports romance and relatable themes that will keep readers engaged. It's perfect for fans of forced proximity and the coach's daughter tropes, offering a fun ride through attraction, discovery, and the choices we make. About the author: International Bestselling Author Ava Miles and her powerful fiction and non-fiction books about love, happiness, and transformation have received praise and accolades from USA Today, Publishers Weekly, and People Magazine in addition to being chosen as Best Books of the Year and Top Editor's picks and translated into multiple languages. Send us a textGrowing up in Seattle, Washington, this week's guest, Peter Ames Carlin, has a distinct memory of the hubub surrounding the release of The Beatles “Sgt Pepper's Lonely Heart's Club Band” even though he was only 4 years old at the time. “I have very vivid memories of “Sgt Pepper” being the new record…and then “The White Album” and puzzling through that stuff when I was very young”Spending most of his life as a writer, for newspapers, People Magazine and co-authoring a few books, Peter turned to writing about his passion, music, with the release of his book “Catch a Wave: The Rise, Fall and Redemption of the Beach Boys' Brian Wilson”. Books about Paul McCartney, Bruce Springsteen, Paul Simon, Warner Brothers Records and R.E.M. followed, almost all to rave reviews. Some books were written with exclusive interviews for his subjects and others without that cooperation. Tuesday August 5th sees the release of “Tonight In Jungleland: The Making of Born To Run”, a second Springsteen book in the Springsteen universe. This time Carlin focuses on a very specific late 1973-late 1975 time frame to chronicle the process of Springsteen writing and recording and dealing with the aftermath of his make or brake third album which is celebrating its 50th anniversary on August 25th, 2025. Join us for a conversation about reading, writing and rocking with Peter Ames Carlin
New Sode; The Glitter Summer addition: Happy Summer from St Tropez Club Sanc un Sanc Everywhere in St Trop -smoking is allowed indoors unlike porn and unregulated wheat puts and nudity on the concord. In between unfinished bottles of Dom Perignon and warding of managers of Sovereign wealth fund managers wishing to grind up against me to Usher's U Got it Bad; I realized I needed a job; It occurred to me in my housewife delirium that I should launch an Anti-Illegal Immigrant Meme coin or Teen Mom meme coin on Base. What's a meme coin my assistant -slash 4 -year old step daughter asked. I realized I had no idea. I then decided against it when I realized I would have to do work. I also read in People Magazine that Memes are over. But I digress; my guest today is John Squire; a rather unboring episode, as he kept ranting about Spexi, which I kept thinking he was saying Sexy, so it made for rather amusing follow up queries. John and I met on a mutual family Holiday in the late 80s at the 4 Seasons Spa in Guantanamo though I was without my family. He clearly has astronomical wealth as there was not a Gucci anything insight and he does not use phrases like “blockchain is the core infrastructure of the next generation of financial rails of the future” that make me dry up and vomit my already vomited martinay. He has a quiet cowboy ranch work ethic that I wish I could mutually respect and emulate. John is the only cool crypto founder whose fund is not 98 percent under (sparkling) water. He is the founder of Blockchange Ventures, but hes cool, man, he likes to be in the trenches with the founders and is inspired by their idealistic passion that web3 has a use case beyond Bitcoin and crypto conference panel topics. Ipso facto, John is unique in that he also dabbles in curious projects and likes almonds and can talk about topics that excite him beyond blocks that are chained togetherSupport the show

It's as if they were all written especially for her. Prior to recording with Harbor Records in 1978 as Jill Croston, she like many before her, held many jobs to survive and support her family. As a truck stop waitress and singer, she would wait tables and then take the stage to sing a few songs. In June 1979, Lacy J Dalton was signed by Columbia Records and quickly rose to national prominence with Crazy Blue Eyes, which she wrote with her longest friend, Mary McFadden, and which raced to #7 on the Billboard Country Charts. Her hard work and dedication paid off in 1979 when she was awarded the Academy of Country Music's Top New Female Vocalist of the Year. Lacy's success was powered not just by the artist's recordings, but by a stage show that truly electrified audiences. She quickly became one of the few women who could successfully open a show for the likes of Hank Williams, Jr., Willie Nelson, Merle Haggard or Charlie Daniels. Not only could she do it, but she left audiences across the country hollering for more. Her signature song 16th Avenue, became the Anthem for Nashville songwriters. Her other hit records are legendary million-airplay cuts and include Crazy Blue Eyes, Takin' It Easy, Everybody Makes Mistakes, Hillbilly Girl with the Blues, Hard Times, and the worldwide hit Black Coffee. In addition to her Top New Female Vocalist award, she also brought home numerous Grammy nominations and 3 prestigious, back to back (1979, 1980, 1981) Bay Area Music Awards for Best Country-Folk Recordings. Lacy appeared on those shows with the likes of Neil Young, The Grateful Dead, Grace Slick and the Jefferson Airplane. Lacy's collaboration with Willie Nelson on his platinum Half Nelson CD was a high spot for her. Lacy is the only woman featured on that recording (which included singing legends Ray Charles, Neil Diamond, Merle Haggard, Julio Iglesias, George Jones, Leon Russell, Carlos Santana, Mel Tillis, Hank Williams Sr., and Neil Young), and was awarded a Platinum Record for it. She also received a Gold Record from Hank Williams Jr. in 1985 for her support performances throughout his Five-0 Tour, where she opened for him at a time when it was unusual for a woman to do so. Her career includes accomplishments in music, film and radio. In music, they range from her instantly recognizable charted hit songs to her notable duets recorded with George Jones, Willie Nelson, Bobby Bare, Glen Campbell, Eddie Rabbit, David Allen Coe and many others. Her film debut was in the motion picture Take This Job And Shove It, and her acting has also included live stage and theater performances. Until recently, Lacy J Dalton also hosted a weekly radio show called Mustang Matters. Podcasts of past shows are available to listeners on the internet at www.americamatters.us Following a successful career in country music, Lacy decided to draw on all her musical experiences including country, rock and folk, and cross over into the Americana genre. This blend of musical styles allows her to express herself in a way that demonstrates all the facets of who she is as a singer/songwriter. She became an independent artist and formed her own label called Song Dog Records. Under this label, she has released three albums to date. The first was Wild Horse Crossing in 1999, followed by the Last Wild Place Anthology which went #1 on the World Independent Chart, and a year later went #1 on the American Western Music Chart. Then Allison Eastwood, Clint Eastwood's daughter, used the hit song Slip Away from the Anthology CD on the sound track of her independent film, Don't Tell. In 2010 Lacy also released a tribute to Hank Williams Sr. entitled Here's To Hank. Today, Lacy continues to record new music and perform live shows whenever possible. She tours mainly west of the Mississippi and loves small boutique venues and old theaters with great sound quality and warm, receptive audiences she can really connect with. She recently recorded some electrifying new music for an EP that was released in January 2019. When hearing the signature song Scarecrow, her good friend Reverend Barbara Ann Fletcher remarked “that song makes you a whole new you, and it makes me a whole new me.” And that's exactly the response Lacy was hoping for. In 2024 Lacy released an album titled For The Black Sheep, a collection of songs with meaningful lyrics and messages of unity and acceptance for all of us. In addition to her musical career, Lacy has been involved in various service projects through several charitable organizations – namely, the Let ‘em Run Foundation, William James Associates Arts in Corrections, and Rotary International.

Justin Bieber BioSnap a weekly updated Biography.Justin Bieber is firmly back in the global spotlight after dropping his surprise seventh studio album, Swag, on July 11, 2025. The album, his first in over four years, has drawn major headlines for its raw and deeply personal themes, with collaborations from big names like Gunna, Sexyy Red, Cash Cobain, and gospel vocalist Marvin Winans. Swag is being celebrated as Bieber's most vulnerable and stripped-down work yet, a product of his newfound creative independence after parting ways with longtime manager Scooter Braun in 2023. People Magazine reports that Braun himself described the album as “beautiful” and “raw” and insiders say Hailey Bieber supported Justin every step of the way during its creation.Bieber's lyrics and recent social media posts echo ongoing struggles with mental health and public pressure, opening up about feeling “unworthy” and at times “broken.” This honest approach is resonating with fans old and new. The album release was accompanied by a family-centric European vacation—Justin shared intimate photos of himself with Hailey and their son Jack, who is about to celebrate his first birthday, on Instagram, giving fans a rare look inside their family life. While Hailey was working on her Rhode skincare pop-up in Mallorca, the couple seemed closer than ever, addressing—if indirectly—the persistent but unfounded breakup rumors swirling on social media. E! News picked up on Justin's own post declaring his devotion to Hailey, shutting down speculation with a simple four-word caption, “If it's not Hailey.”Swag's surprise release reignited speculation about a possible Coachella 2025 appearance following a viral Reddit thread and Pop Base tweet, but so far, festival organizers have offered no official confirmation. Skepticism remains due to last year's festival controversies and fan concerns about Bieber's health and stability after his much-publicized battle with Ramsay Hunt syndrome, which caused partial facial paralysis and led to the cancellation of his previous world tour.Businesswise, Bieber remains a powerhouse. His estimated net worth in 2025 is $200 million, fueled not just by music but by brand deals, fashion collaborations, and the lucrative sale of his music catalog to Hipgnosis for another $200 million. He's also been visible in new clips for the lifestyle brand Skylrk, with Extra Chill noting “he is indeed standing on business.” Media outlets in the US and Latin America are buzzing about the possibility of a new tour—sites like Rebel Music and Los 40 suggest shows in Los Angeles, New York, Miami, and Las Vegas—but no dates or official announcements have been made, and it remains unclear if Bieber will return to the road. What's clear is that Justin Bieber's new era—defined by creative control, vulnerability, and family focus—is making waves across both music charts and celebrity headlines.Get the best deals https://amzn.to/3ODvOta

Profiler: Why Gilgo Beach Killer Kept Murder Trophies and a 'Kill Manual' for 20 Years Description: In this chilling episode, retired FBI Special Agent and former head of the Behavioral Analysis Program Robin Dreeke reveals the dark psychology behind Rex Heuermann's most damning evidence - the murder planning document discovered on his computer and his collection of newspaper clippings about the Gilgo Beach killings. Why would someone accused of murdering seven women keep a detailed "kill manual" for over two decades? Dreeke explains how the 'HK2002-04' document, containing sections on body disposal, DNA avoidance, and victim selection, represents more than just planning - it's a window into the mind of a methodical predator. The document included disturbing notes like "wash body inside and all cavities" and "remove head and hands," showing a level of premeditation rarely seen even in serial killer cases. But perhaps even more revealing is Heuermann's collection of "trophies" - newspaper clippings dating back to 1993, including a 2016 People Magazine cover story about the Gilgo Beach murders. Dreeke analyzes why serial offenders keep such dangerous mementos and what psychological needs these items fulfill. Is it about reliving the crimes? Maintaining control? Or something even darker? Drawing from his decades of experience in behavioral analysis and counterintelligence, Dreeke explains how Heuermann's need to document and collect represents a fatal flaw common among serial offenders - the very evidence meant to help them often becomes their downfall. He also discusses how technology has changed the way predators operate, from the creation of digital planning documents to the mistakes that led to Heuermann's capture, including taking selfies with burner phones. This conversation is essential listening for anyone trying to understand the criminal mind and offers valuable insights into recognizing dangerous behavior patterns. Whether you're a true crime enthusiast, psychology student, or someone concerned about personal safety, Dreeke's expert analysis provides a rare glimpse into how the FBI profiles and catches serial killers in the digital age. When Colleen Bowman didn't get into her dietetics internship—twice—she thought her career was over before it began. Instead, that rejection became the catalyst that launched her into becoming a transformative HR leader at one of the most unique companies in America. "I had a little too much fun in college," Colleen admits with a laugh. But that social experience—building networks, connecting with people—turned out to be the foundation of everything that followed. Today, as VP of Human Resources at IAC, she oversees benefits for a portfolio of brands you know and use every day: Angie's List, People Magazine, Food & Wine, and dozens more. This conversation with host Laurie McGraw isn't just about climbing the corporate ladder—it's about how the detours define us. For Colleen, those detours included a boss who told her she wasn't ready for a promotion (spoiler: she was), mentors who took chances on her, and the realization that sometimes you have to stop waiting for opportunities and start creating them. What makes Colleen's leadership philosophy unique? "Empathetic with expectations." She leads with understanding but refuses to treat her team "too preciously." She believes in them too much for that. She sets high standards because she knows they can meet them. Now, as healthcare costs explode and benefits become the single largest line item on corporate balance sheets, Colleen is tackling one of business's biggest challenges: How do you get employees to care about their health before it's a crisis? How do you communicate complex benefits to diverse populations—from magazine editors to home repair professionals? And how do you treat a benefits program like the multi-million dollar business it actually is? In this episode of Inspiring Women with Laurie McGraw, Colleen also speaks about: Why saying "yes" to everything early in your career is essential—and when you need to start saying "no" How to build trust and partnerships that actually move the needle in organizations What happens when benefits become too big for leadership to ignore Why HR's "seat at the table" debate misses the real point How to navigate the coming healthcare crisis with transparency and trust What "fake it till you make it" really means for women leaders Chapter Markers 03:37 From Nutrition Dreams to Benefits Reality 08:17 When Your Boss Says You're Not Ready 10:51 Building Relationships as a Leadership Superpower 14:49 Raising Your Hand vs. Reaching for Opportunities 16:24 Empathetic with Expectations: A New Leadership Model 19:38 The Business of Benefits in Divisive Times Guest & Host Links Connect with Laurie McGraw on LinkedIn Connect with Colleen Bowman on LinkedIn Connect with Inspiring Women Browse Episodes | LinkedIn | Instagram | Apple | Spotify
