Osiris: The Divine King Osiris, the god of the afterlife, was often depicted as a green-skinned deity with a beard. He was the ideal pharaoh, a just and benevolent ruler. However, he was murdered by his jealous brother, Seth. Isis: The Divine Mother Isis, the goddess of motherhood, magic, and healing, was the wife and sister of Osiris. She mourned her husband's death and sought to restore him to life. Through her divine powers and unwavering love, she was able to reassemble Osiris's dismembered body and bring him back to life, albeit in the underworld. Horus: The Divine Son Horus, the falcon-headed god, was the son of Osiris and Isis. He avenged his father's murder by defeating Seth and becoming the rightful ruler of Egypt. Horus symbolized the rising sun and the triumph of good over evil. The Myth of Osiris and Isis The myth of Osiris and Isis is a powerful allegory for the cyclical nature of life, death, and rebirth. Osiris's murder and resurrection symbolize the death and rebirth of vegetation, the cycle of the Nile River, and the eternal return of the sun. The story of Horus's birth and victory over Seth represents the triumph of order over chaos and the hope for a new beginning. This myth provided comfort and hope to the ancient Egyptians, assuring them that death was not the end but a transition to another realm. How does the concept of the Hall of Two Truths relate to modern concepts of karma and reincarnation? What lessons can we learn from the Egyptian belief in the importance of moral behavior and ethical conduct in our own lives? #AncientEgypt ,#EgyptianMythology, #Afterlife, #SoulJourney, #SpiritualExploration, #Podcast, #YouTube, #MoralValues, #EthicalConduct,The Egyptian Judgment: A Journey Through the Underworld The Hall of Two Truths: A Deep Dive into the Egyptian Afterlife Website: https://www.7kmetals.com/grandpabill YouTube: Bill Holt@billholt8792 Social Media: https://www.facebook.com/bill.sales.524 Social Media: https://www.instagram.com/bradybrodyboy12/ Email Message Board: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/bhsales Creative Solutions for Holistic Healthcare

Secular ‘experts’ have often claimed that there is no evidence that the Hebrews lived in Egypt. If this is so, then the entire history of the book of Exodus—which is foundational to understanding God’s dealings with humanity throughout history, and which is repeatedly referred to throughout the rest of the Bible—is a lie! Are these ‘experts’ correct? Or, if they are wrong, how could they be so wrong? Join researcher, author, and speaker, Gary Bates, for a fascinating and helpful look at the many ways in which Egyptian history lines up perfectly with biblical history. The evidence is there, provided you look in the right time period! ✍️ Links and Show Notes Egyptian chronology and the Bible—framing the issues Who Was the Pharaoh of Exodus? This week, the idiots open with the biggest news story of all time: Fyre Fest 2.0! Billy McFarland is out of jail and is ready to organize another music festival. Or, considering the first one never happened, a music festival. Hopefully, all the same rich kids fall for the scam. Next up, a small story that wasn't on very many radars: Fox News lied about election 2020 and paid $787,500,000 to keep it out of the court system. It's both hilarious, and sad. Hilarious, because that's some serious coin. Sad, because their idiot viewers don't know it happened. Speaking of money: My Pillow Moron Mike Lindell offered $5 million to anyone who could debunk his "data" proving there was election fraud in 2020. Well, a conservative Trump supporter did just that, and an arbitration ruling says he has to pony up the dough. Since Lindell isn't known to be very honorable, chances are this one is headed to court. Following that: Blackwashing Egyptian History... it's a thing! No, really, it is! We here in 'Merica like to pretend we're the center of the universe, but other countries exist, and they have national pride in their own histories, as Netflix just found out. In closing: there's too much legal weed, and legal weed growers want to start selling their product in other states that have too much legal weed (doesn't make sense to us, either), and the Bud Light controversy might be a little less cut and dry than first imagined. Enjoy! Jake can be found at @jakevevera nathan can be found at nathantimmel.com
"They" say it never happened. It's all made up. Just a work of pure fiction. Nothing in Egyptian history supports it. So why can't we eat a bagel during Passover? Why do we have to go to all the trouble and expense to vicariously relive events that were invented by anonymous biblical authors? Well, in this 40-plus episode, I demonstrate just how wrong they (the scholars who insist on this) are so very wrong.Support the show
The discovery of KV62, or the tomb of King Tut was one of the most significant archaeological finds in history. 100 years ago, Howard Carter, the son of an illustrator and self-taught Egyptologist under the patronage of Lord Carnovan, first glimpsed the undiscovered tomb. In the wake of his discovery, a new wave of Egyptomania would sweep the world, and no where was this more evident than in cemeteries. Email: tombwithaviewpodcast@gmail.comFacebookInstagram
In this episode, I discuss a brief history of civilizations from the Paleolithic Era to around 1200 BCE that still have a major influence in how we are programmed to think. Christians have wrestled for centuries on how to reconcile Egyptian chronology with a biblical one. Many fail to understand Egyptian culture at the time which is a key to understanding how they treated foreigners, for example, which would help us understand why Egypt is silent about the Hebrew occupation prior to the Exodus event. We need to look for other clues that might help us place the timing of the Exodus into Egyptian history. Other pharaohs in the Bible are named, which allows for a clearer alignment between these histories. Creation.com Talk is produced by Joseph Darnell out of the CMI-USA studios. Good afternoon! This week we are an Egyptian History podcast, at least for a moment! This week's NEWS 0:08:04 starts with a few minor points before breaking into the rest, starting with release updates for Across the Spider-Verse 0:10:22 parts 1 and 2. There are also some release changes on the horizon for the Batgirl movie 0:13:21. It's become time to finally address the Disney vs Florida situation 0:18:05, and let me be clear, I am NOT in agreement with the government of Florida in any way. Then we have, on a lighter note, a rumored Elsa Bloodstone casting 0:27:26 for Werewolf y Night, Love and Thunder Casting Rumors 0:30:21 regarding Angela, Thor's half-sister with a complicated comic boo history, and the alleged Illuminati Lineup for Multiverse of Madness 0:41:11, in theaters next week! While only a few, this week's comic PICKS 0:56:16 are mostly all bangers. The adjoining PULLS 1:03:14 for this week have a TON to look forward to! While discussing MOON KNIGHT ep.4 1:10:44, we temporarily transition the podcast to being an Egyptian History podcast, because I can't help myself, and they got a LOT wrong in that episode, to be honest. But there's always the fun comic references and theories, too! Then it's YOUNG JUSTICE s4 1:31:19 episode 19, where we are starting to see the light at the end of the complex tunnel. Marvel COMICS July Solicits 1:36:08 are quite long this month, and DC Comics JULY Solicitations 1:49:22 are a bit shorter, but full of some great material to look forward to. And that's that! Definitely be sure to check out the Yancy Street Specials, as the May Special will be all about Patsy Walker! And keep an eye out later this week for a SURPRISE special, regarding Madelyne Pryor, the Goblin Queen! Stay hydrated, keep it sweaty, see you next week! Christina Riggs talked about ancient Egypt and how the fields of archaeology, art history, and Egyptology developed in tandem with colonial and imperial expansion.Christina is historian of photography and archaeology, with a particular interest in North Africa and the Middle East. Her research has considered how different people, at different times, have imagined, studied, and represented the culture we know as ‘ancient Egypt' – and how the fields of archaeology, art history, and Egyptology developed in tandem with colonial and imperial expansion. She see archives and museum collections not as dead legacies of these difficult pasts, but as living expressions of them which, as historians, they have a responsility to analyze, evaluate, and confront.Created & hosted by Mikey Muhanna, afikra Edited by: Ramzi RammanTheme music by: Tarek Yamani https://www.instagram.com/tarek_yamani/About the afikra Conversations:Our long-form interview series features academics, arts, and media experts who are helping document and/or shape the history and culture of the Arab world through their work. Or, the Life Aquatic with Gold Scarabs... Around 1325 BCE (estimates vary) a vessel sank near the cape of Uluburun, Turkey. The cargo was immense: twenty tonnes of goods, including copper, ivory, ornamental objects, spices, and more. Amid the finds, a curious item came to light: a gold scarab, bearing the name Neferneferuaten Nefertiti... What was a Nefertiti scarab doing on a trade ship, far from Egypt? And what do the finds tell us about the ship, its crew, and ancient trade? The Uluburun Shipwreck:Date: c.1325 BCE (estimated).Cultures: Multiple, including Egyptian, Canaanite, Syrian, and Mycenaean.Ship destination: Possibly the Aegean, western Anatolia, or even the Balkans.Logo image: Divers working on the Uluburun wreck, via The Institute of Nautical Archaeology website.Catalogue of objects in Beyond Babylon, 2008. From Megiddo to Kadesh almost 200 years passed with Egypt at the pinnacle of its power. From modern day Sudan to the southern border of modern day Turkey, Egypt reigned supreme. They weren't unchallenged and certainly, like their life-giving river itself things where often in flux; uprisings, rebellions, and border fighting happened regularly and territory was lost just as often as it was gained, but even so the people of the Nile maintained their control over much of the modern Middle East. The chariot, brought to Egypt on the conquering tide of the Hyksos invasion and retooled and perfected by the Egyptians themselves, was in large part what brought Egyptian freedom from the foreign oppressors at home and victory and Egyptian dominance abroad. At Megiddo, this engineering marvel, the Egyptian war chariot, showed the world what it could do to an unequal enemy. At Kadesh, the last great clash of chariots showed the world that this unique weapons system had reached its peak and would soon (in relative historical terms) be outdated and surpassed. But for one glorious late May day on the plains outside of Kadesh, the Pharaoh Ramses the 2nd, who would later be known as the Great Ancestor, saved his army and his reputation from the back of his chariot. Or at least that's what he wanted us to think… Music by DopeBoysSources Upon RequestFollow Along On Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, and TikTokAs Always - Rate/Review/SubscribeAnd Thanks For Listening!
Megiddo is an interesting story; by bringing along court scribes Thutmose III allows us to follow along in his footsteps and see the battle as he saw it. Now, obviously we can't take everything the scribes wrote at face value; propaganda is as old as written history, and probably older, but at least, for the first time, we can paint a historical battle with color instead of just black and white. And the drama of Megiddo is real and intense. The pharaoh's choice to take the middle route and risk his army being picked off, man by man, would be a bold decision in any time period. The Canaanites fleeing the field and having to be hauled over the city walls is the very picture of comical desperation. At Megiddo, whether it all happened as the scribes said or not, history comes to life. Criminal Intent. In 1331 BCE (maybe later), King Ay went to his rest. The burial was poor: a few trinkets, a sarcophagus, and not much else. The King did not have a glamorous end. Then, years later, something worse happened. A team of vandals broke into the tomb and violated the burial. These agents were organised and methodical. They hacked away at hieroglyphs, removing Ay's names. They damaged his body, and images of the King. They even attacked some of the gods, carefully removing ritual images. Clearly, someone had a problem with King Ay, and the crime left its clues…Episode details:Date: c.1331 / 1330 BCE, and a few decades/centuries later.King: Kheper-kheperu-Ra, the God's Father Ay.Logo: Erasures on the wrists of Nut, Lady of the Sky, as she offers nyny (welcome) to King Ay. Show NotesEpisode 5 - The Women of AlexandriaRaya and Sakina have become legends in Egypt, infamous for being the sisters who murdered the sex workers of Alexandria and burying them underneath their homes. Parents will no longer give their children the names “Raya” and “Sakina,” fearing they are cursed. Adam and Eve were Pharaoh Akhenaton and Nefertiti ?? It would seem that the Israelites were not just in Egypt, they were Egyptians themselves. Now this is not fanciful material, it is all well researched and backed up by copious amounts of historical data. If anything people say there is too much data, but you cannot make revolutionary claims without copious evidence. Two history graduates discuss the life of Cleopatra VII, the Last Pharaoh of Egypt. Cleopatra is an iconic figure that is well known around the world. Known mainly as a seductress due to the lasting impact of Roman propaganda, this episode explores her achievements and how she came into power. In this first episode, we break down the history of history... specifically, written and recorded history and what is the difference between history and prehistory and honestly is history actually even real or is it just a bunch of made up myths, legends and oral pastimes? We also talk about what the actual point of this podcast is - which is literally to highlight all the the events and people in history that never really got the limelight that they deserved... the untold history.

Talk about a Soap Opera! While there are all sorts of "Princess" candidates to draw Moses from the water, Jason Lee Willis's "Ramses Theory" would mean Moses would have been a baby in perhaps the most turbulent era in Egyptian History--the 18th Dynasty. Who were the figures of the 18th Dynasty? Oh boy! It's like Game of Thrones with old houses from the Delta and the new power in Egypt, the Theban Court. We will examine Amenhotep III as the "baby killer," Akhenaten as foster dad, and Nefertiti as the princess who plucked a Hebrew baby from certain death.

Malayna Evans writes middle grade fiction. Her debut novel, Jagger Jones and the Mummy's Ankh, is a fantasy adventure story and is the first installment in a trilogy that involves time travel, ancient Egypt and two kids from the South Side of Chicago. Tune in to hear Malayna discuss her writing journey, the challenge of balancing history and fiction for young readers, and how her Ph.D. in Egyptian History came in handy while writing this book.
After over a year, I've finally finished the history of Egypt, and summarized over 10,000 years into two episodes. A survey of the history indeed. In this 2nd part of two, I cover the history from the Middle Kingdom through the era of Roman occupation, so from about 1650 BC to just after the start of AD, and when Jesus, Mary, and Joseph were living there in exile. After listening, let me know what you think.
Whopper of a tale for you today. Battles, incest, murder, betrayal, and more! Born in 69 BCE, Cleopatra VII was part of the Macedonian dynasty that took over rule of Egypt in the late 4th century B.C. A dynasty full of a PREPOSTEROUS amount of incest and murder. SO much. During her reign, she forged political alliances and became romantically involved with Roman military leaders Julius Caesar and Mark Antony - bearing sons for month men. She could've ended up ruling Rome. Instead Rome pushed her to her death in 30 BCE. Check out the best of my standup on Spotify! Today the 62nd episode of the 3rd chapter was published on Blubrry and is also available on iTunes. After over a year, I've finally almost finished the history of Egypt. Now just to summarize in two parts. In this first part, I cover the period from prehistory through the Middle Kingdom, so from before 10,000 BC to about 1,650 BC. After listening, let me know what you think.
In this session we examine the world setting and context for the end of Genesis (Joseph's death) and the beginning of Exodus (Moses birth and calling). We also answer some questions related to our Sunday sermon series on Baptist beliefs that cover; baptism and infant baptism, religious liberty and communion. We hope to have the maps and study notes available online at the churches website this week. Thank you for following along and for your emailed questions.
In this episode, I cover the history of the Rosetta Stone and how it led to a greater understanding of Egyptian History. Napoleon, King George III, World War I, Julius Caesar, and many others all hand a hand on the stone. Listen to learn how it was found, how it ended up in Britain, and the many nations that contributed to its understanding. Next week, I'll cover the religious practices of the ancient Egyptians. After listening, let me know what you think.
In this episode, I cover what is known about the pre-history of Egypt up through the Middle Kingdom. Embedded in this, I discuss the factors that led to the settlement of the area, the changing climate, and even touch on their medical knowledge. Next week, I'll pick up with the collapse of the Middle Kingdom and work through the time just before the birth of Christ. After listening, let me know what you think.

This week Gabe talks to Dominic Perry the host of The History of Egypt Podcast in advance of next month's release of The Mummy. We talk about depictions of Egypt in pop culture, the famous female rulers of Egypt's past and suggestions for taking part in exploring history first hand. We think it's kind of epic.
Join us on this program as we have a talk history episode and discuss the intersections of Egyptian History to the History of God's people - the Israelites. In this episode, we pull from multiple resources like David Down's works, answersingenesis.com and the recent documentary Patterns of Evidence Exodus to setup the kingdom time period of King Solomon and his connections with Egypt.
