Rendszeresen szerepel kiállításokon, legutóbb a "Stepping out of Time, A Collective Exhibition Breaking Boundaries" című tárlaton, amelyet 2024-ben rendeztek a MIFA galériájában. Szó esik a festészet és a zene kapcsolatáról is, hiszen felesége, Sárközy Fanni jazz-zongorista, akivel művészeti szempontból is kölcsönösen inspirálják egymást.

Send us a textHello, passionate cruisers! This week on The Joy of Cruising Podcast, it is my pleasure to welcome back a special guest, Chef Rudi Sodamin, a culinary virtuoso of the seas. Chef Rudi is Princess Cruises' first Head of Culinary Arts effective January 2024. When I chatted with him back in December, Ep 71, we talked about his pending new role, along with his existing role as Master Chef for Holland America Line (HAL)—which I am particularly excited about as we cruise on HAL a couple times in 2025. Carnival Cruise Corporation—parent company of HAL, as well as Princess—was so impressed with Rubi's Sel de Mer, the French-inspired intimate brasserie that Chef Rudi led the launch of on select HAL ships, that they commissioned him to create Rudi's Seagrill for its new Excel-class ships—Mardi Gras, Celebration, and Jubilee. In 2023 Chef Rudi partnered with Princess Cruises, to create The Catch by Rudi on Enchanted Princess, Majestic Princess, Sky Princess, Discovery Princess, and recently-released Sun Princess—which I am particularly excited about as I will sail her new sister STAR Princess in 2025. Since I last spoke with Chef Rudi, Princess Cruises announced it is joining with world renowned artist Romero Britto, known for his bold, colorful, and joyful style, and a global advocate for happiness, to create Love by Britto, the first artistically inspired dining experience celebrating the essence of "Love" aboard Sun Princess. According to Princess: Love and art converge with taste in an immersive culinary journey, showcasing a meticulously curated menu by culinary virtuoso Rudi Sodamin. With Sodamin's ingenious touch, Love by Britto transcends into a multisensory exploration, offering extraordinary dishes that embody profound passion, exquisite flavor, and boundless creativity. Love by Britto features a 7-course menu--a flute of Champagne upon arrival, lobster, caviar and truffles, and chocolate fondue.Says Chef Rudi, "Food is the international language of love; Love by Britto could not be more perfect for Princess, home Relying on ship wifi is slow, unsecure, sometimes not available & at foreign ports travelers don't want to pay their carriers' high fees. I like making the invisible, visible, and the unimaginable, real. The image on a canvas, or, an electric guitar for that matter, can make you feel something unexpected and revealing, something that is the beginning of a greater personal insight. Challenging the straight line and the concepts of what belongs with what excites me. I want to experience new color combinations to make me see beyond the prevailing reality. There's a balance between seriousness and humor that can imbue in a painting a kind of resilience and longevity, making it forever contemporary. A 16 ans, Benoit Migneaux arrête l'école. On Episode 12, Doggie Deeva, Dee Hoult (see what she did there?!) chats with Isabel about all the ways training thousands upon thousands of dogs over more than a decade prepared her to parent her now three-year-old human, Jack. She plays "Dog vs. Kid," telling Isabel who takes longer to train in common behaviors like potty training and inside voices. She also plays "Right Fit" and discusses how she helps families find the perfect rescue or shelter pet through her Family Pet Selection services. Isabel and Dee know each other through a mutual Miami friend, Flavia Berti of Equipaws Pet Services, but had never met until this show. They could probably have spent hours talking shop and sipping wine - if they weren't both super busy working moms, of course. Dee owns the largest pet dog training company in all of Florida and is currently working on a new training facility that she hopes will be graced by a work of art by Miami legend, Romero Britto, one of Isabel's favorite artists. Today's guest is the world renowed Brazilian artist, Romero Britto, the founder of the Happy Art Movement. Romero has created a visual language of love, hope and happiness that blends Pop Art with Cubist-like abstraction to reflect his optimistic view of the world around him. He was self-taught from an early age, painting on scraps of paper or cardboard, before coming into his own and traveling to Paris where he was introduced to the works of Matisse and Picasso. Britto’s work has been exhibited in galleries and museums in over 100 countries and he has created public art installations in almost every major city you can think of. He is considered the most licensed artist in history and is an activist for charitable organizations worldwide. In this rare interview, Romero opens up and discusses his personal upbringing, parenting, and how he went from rough beginnings in Brazil to become one of the most successful artists of all time - all through art that makes people happy.Listen as we discuss:The underemphasized responsibility of parenting, which is to loveHow there's no test for being a parent as there is a test for a driver's licenseHis eight siblings, his parents, and his upbringingRomero's early shyness and how he grew into a public personalityHow the responsibility of a parent is their child's impact on the worldWhy Romero's art is so happyDealing with the worst side of art - the businessHow his life is like a dream everydayParents need to support children's interests so they can wake up feeling happy everydayHow he comes up with so many ideasThe root of his desire to give back and his activismHis surprising stint in law school and the feelings of exclusion from the "rich kids"Romero's thoughts on slowing downInstagram: @mo_gawdatFacebook: @mo.gawdat.officialTwitter: @mgawdatLinkedIn: /in/mogawdatConnect with Romero Britto on Facebook @RomeroBrittoFanPage, Instagram @romerobritto, Twitter @brittopopart, and his website, britto.comDon't forget to subscribe to Slo Mo for new episodes every Sunday and Thursday.
