Joanna Coles sits down with MSNBC's own Stephanie Ruhle—seasoned financial journalist and host of The 11th Hour—for a sharply insightful breakdown of the economic theater inside Trumpworld. Ruhle dissects the tensions between truth and loyalty for financiers like Scott Bessent, who finds himself defending Trump-era trade policies he once publicly opposed, and contrasts him with Trump loyalists like Howard Lutnick, ever willing to sell the show. With a signature mix of Wall Street fluency and media savvy, Ruhle unpacks the deeper motivations behind Elon Musk's quiet exit from Washington, the strategic silence of major investors, and how grift has gone from subtle to spectacular in the Trump era. On Wednesday night, Democratic presidential candidate sat down for a solo interview with MSNBC's Stephanie Ruhle. While appearing on HBO's Real Time recently, Ruhle revealed she'll be voting for Harris and believes Donald Trump is unfit to serve. Despite the friendly questions, Harris struggled throughout—at one point bizarrely repeating the term “holistically.” How bad was Harris's performance? The Rich Zeoli Show- Full Episode (09/26/2024): 3:05pm- New York City Mayor Eric Adams has been indicted on multiple federal charges, including wire fraud, bribery, and solicitation of a contribution by a foreign national. During a press conference on Thursday, U.S. Attorney in Manhattan Damian Williams summarized the 57-page indictment and alleged that Adams received roughly $100,000 in money, campaign contributions, first class flights, and hotel accommodations from Turkish government officials and businesses in exchange for political favors. 3:10pm- In December of 2023, New York City Mayor Eric Adams publicly criticized the Biden Administration's failed immigration policy. Is the federal indictment case brought against him revenge for that criticism? White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said that the Department of Justice operates independently from the White House. 3:30pm- Paul Pelosi Unloads $500k of Visa Stock…Right Before DOJ's Anti-Trust Lawsuit. Kamala had a painful interview with MSNBC's Stephanie Ruhle. Ruhle is an embarrassing "Trump is a threat to democracy" puppet that fits perfectly with Kamala that says big words to appear smart. Kamala can say whatever she wants but we have endured her and Biden's mutual destruction of our country for 3 and 1/2 years. Kamala continues the smoke and mirrors charade whether it's the economy or the illegal immigration crisis. The Rich Zeoli Show- Full Episode (09/25/2024): 3:05pm- Senate Releases Report on Trump Assassination Attempt. Victor Nava and Josh Christenson of The New York Post write: “The Secret Service agent in charge of Donald Trump's July 13 rally in Butler, Pa., was made aware of ‘credible intelligence' of a threat against the former president—but didn't pass it along to her supervisor or others planning security for the event, a Senate report on the assassination attempt found. The 94-page report on the shooting, released Wednesday by the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee and Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations, determined that the Secret Service's lead advance agent for the Trump rally wrote in a security planning document that there was ‘no adverse intelligence' concerning the 45th president's visit to Butler—despite being notified of an unspecified threat. Furthermore, the lead agent told Senate investigators that she notified the special agent in charge (SAIC) of the Secret Service's Pittsburgh field office about the “credible intelligence” before the rally—but he claims that never happened.” You can read the full article here: https://nypost.com/2024/09/25/us-news/lead-secret-service-agent-at-trumps-butler-rally-knew-of-credible-intelligence-of-threat-but-didnt-raise-alarm-senate-report-finds/ 3:15pm- Secret Service Agent Called Toll-Free Drone Hotline Before Assassination Attempt. Michael Ruiz and David Spunt of Fox News write: “A preliminary report on the July 13 assassination attempt on former President Trump from the Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs ripped into newly revealed missteps that went into the Secret Service's planning and execution of security at the event during which a spectator was killed, two others were seriously wounded and the GOP candidate was struck on the ear. Among the key failures, an agent inexperienced with drone equipment called a toll-free tech support hotline for help after a request ahead of time for additional unmanned assets was denied, according to a preliminary summary of findings made public Wednesday. According to the committee, he had just an hour of informal training with the device.” You can read the full article here: https://www.foxnews.com/us/trump-assassination-attempt-inexperienced-secret-service-agent-flying-drone-called-toll-free-number-help 3:40pm- Lara Trump— Co-Chair of the Republican National Committee—joins The Rich Zeoli Show and reacts to the Senate's 94-page report documenting Secret Service failures leading up to the attempted assassination of Donald Trump in Butler, PA. Kamala Harris no doubt thought she could walk through a softball interview with Stephanie Ruhle after Ruhle supported her. To no surprise, Harris was still completely vacuous. Today we get back to a more typical show, opening with something I brought to you on Monday of this week, but it seems to have taken everyone else some time to catch up. Donald Trump sent out a message about the transcripts proving he ordered troops for safety and security and his orders were not followed on January 6, 2021. We follow that with a shocking drop in the Consumer Confidence Index. It seems many Americans and growing more pessimistic about the economy by the day. The Daily Mail tried to find evidence of Kamala Harris working hard on the committees she was appointed to by then-boyfriend Willie Brown. This goes hand-in-hand with an effort to find any evidence that Harris tried any of her own cases as a DA or AG, including any appeals she may have argued. So far, none can be found. Nancy Pelosi says it isn't as important for Harris to define policy so long as she is relatable to people. In other words, Harris needs to keep lying to pretend she knows what it's like to be in the middle-class. To this end, Senator Chris Coons (D-DE) says Americans just can't remember how bad the economy was four years ago. Stephanie Ruhle of MSNBC decided to host an interview with Harris. We know it was edited and not live, but Harris still managed to give us plenty of fodder to illustrate what a low-IQ politician she is. We end with a bite about the border and the border bill and then remind you about testimony recently given by police over just how bad the Harris-Biden border policy has been. Joe Biden has caused a problem for the Harris campaign. While she, her hubby and everyone else is trying to convince you she has had no authority in the Biden White House, Biden told the view he delegated a lot to her, both in terms of domestic policy and foreign. An FBI whistleblower says the FBI is not capable of fixing itself and is not focused on the imminent dangers facing the country. He suggest all citizens need to vote, learn how to defend themselves and stock up on 3-4 months of food. Finally, we end with a Deep Thoughts by VP Kamala Harris segment, followed by another sound bite that was a close runner-up. Remember, she is being sold as the smartest choice since Joe Biden. Think about that. Take a moment to rate and review the show and then share the episode on social media. In this episode of "Sara Gonzales Unfiltered," Sara discusses the recent threats against Donald Trump from Iran following his Jan. 3, 2020, airstrike on General Soleimani. Trump took to social media to thank Congress for bipartisan support in boosting Secret Service funding and warned any would-be attackers of dire consequences. Sara and Chad Prather question whether Trump can trust the briefings he receives or whether a more sinister plot is at play. Next, they delve into a Senate report exposing critical failures by the Secret Service, from missed snipers to communication breakdowns, raising questions of incompetence or something more deliberate. Sara critiques the push for diversity hires, arguing competence should take priority when protecting high-profile figures like Trump. The conversation shifts to the illegal immigration crisis, highlighting how Venezuelan gangs, armed with rifles, are wreaking havoc in U.S. sanctuary cities like Aurora, Colorado and Chicago, Illinois. Sara warns that when government resources run dry, these gangs will target American citizens. Chad emphasizes the cultural differences in how justice and weaponry are viewed, making these gangs a serious threat. Sara also tackles the forced sale of Alex Jones' media company, InfoWars, following the nearly $1.5 billion defamation lawsuit filed by Sandy Hook families. Sara defends Jones' free speech, arguing the case is an attempt to silence dissent. Finally, Sara critiques Kamala Harris' upcoming interview with MSNBC's Stephanie Ruhle, pointing out how Ruhle recently defended Harris on "Real Time with Bill Maher." Sara questions Harris' ability to lead and mocks her contradictions, highlighting her sudden embrace of Trump-like policies. Sara is joined by Chad Prather, host of "The Chad Prather Show." Join Jim and Greg as they serve up all bad and crazy martinis. Today, they discuss Kamala Harris wanting to kill the Senate filibuster to codify Roe v. Wade, her ongoing refusal to confirm whether she still holds the same positions on several controversial issues, and MSNBC's Stephanie Ruhle landing an interview with Harris just days after publicly saying that Harris doesn't need to answer tough questions because Donald Trump is such a threat to our nation.First, they dive into the vice president's call to suspend the Senate filibuster to codify Roe v. Wade into federal law. Senators Joe Manchin and Kyrsten Sinema - the one-time Democrats who prevented their colleagues from killing the filibuster in the previous Congress - immediately denounced the idea. Jim and Greg explain why ending the filibuster would set a dangerous precedent, ultimately allowing Democrats to dismantle it for all legislative priorities. They then shift to Harris's refusal to confirm whether her views on controversial issues like the death penalty, citizenship for some illegal immigrants, and decriminalizing sex work have changed. Despite repeated questions, the Vice President also avoids discussing her stance on a California ballot initiative that would increase penalties for minor theft and drug crimes. Jim and Greg not only blast her for trying to obscure her radical positions, but somehow wind up venting about Democrats - and a few Republicans - who failed to keep their word back in the '80s and '90s.Finally, they roll their eyes as MSNBC's Stephanie Ruhle lands an interview with Harris just days after Ruhle went on "Real Time with Bill Maher" and said Harris didn't need to answer tough questions or clarify policy positions because Trump is so horrible that voting for Harris was an obvious choice. Could this interview be anything other than an Oprah-style campaign ad?

Stephanie Ruhle trashed Kamala... then sat down with her?!
While the right howls with indignation that VP Kamala Harris is going to do her first network TV interview with MSNBC'S Stephanie Ruhle, they seem to forget her opponent, Donald Trump, never wanders far off the OANN/NewsMax/Fox News reservation himself. The few times he has, of course, he's stormed off set (ask Leslie Stahl and '60 Minutes'). I dove into that double-standard a bit, focusing on NYT conservative columnist Bret Stephens' latest piece portraying him as a "never Trumper" who's also a "Harris skeptic." Ruhle, meanwhile, put him in his place Friday on 'Real Time with Bill Maher.' It's as if, by the way, they don't both have records to run on: Harris as VP, and Donald, of course, in the Oval Office. I point this out all the time when he flings another lofty promise out - "why didn't he do it when he was President before?" --- My guest today was Rep. Ruwa Romman (D) - the state's lone elected Palestinian American and one of only a handful nationwide. I caught up with her after that whirlwind week at the DNC where she *almost* became a speaker at the convention - representing the plight of Palestinian. Instead, she was rebuffed and I wanted to get a sense of where she is on party loyalty, what support she has from local and state parties and if Kamala Harris presents anything different for those who want a ceasefire and disarmament of aid to Israel.

The PhD in Shut-Up is inspired from a great piece written by Chris Bray. This is about credentialism and how it has bent California to the breaking point. There is a new Scott Wiener, who likes to go around pretending to know everything because he is a social worker. Sometimes credentialism is a big deal, but what about experience or just blatant intelligence? Well, that doesn't count, just ask MSNBC. What does God's Word say? Proverbs 9:10 10 The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.1 Timothy 3:1-10 Qualifications for Overseers and Deacons3 Here is a trustworthy saying: Whoever aspires to be an overseer desires a noble task. 2 Now the overseer is to be above reproach, faithful to his wife, temperate, self-controlled, respectable, hospitable, able to teach, 3 not given to drunkenness, not violent but gentle, not quarrelsome, not a lover of money. 4 He must manage his own family well and see that his children obey him, and he must do so in a manner worthy of full[a] respect. 5 (If anyone does not know how to manage his own family, how can he take care of God's church?) 6 He must not be a recent convert, or he may become conceited and fall under the same judgment as the devil. 7 He must also have a good reputation with outsiders, so that he will not fall into disgrace and into the devil's trap.8 In the same way, deacons[b] are to be worthy of respect, sincere, not indulging in much wine, and not pursuing dishonest gain. 9 They must keep hold of the deep truths of the faith with a clear conscience. 10 They must first be tested; and then if there is nothing against them, let them serve as deacons.Episode 1,429 Links:Against Credentialism; dare ye to challenge the legislation of a doctor of social work?Biden Admin to Wipe Out $1.2 Billion Federal Student Loan Debt for 153,000 BorrowersWithout evidence, @SRuhle suggests @elonmusk and @BillAckman have insisted that their wealth means they know everything.@WilliamCohan's frustration blows, he whines that Musk and Ackman don't have anyone around them to say "they should just be quiet."@WilliamCohan admits they don't like that @BillAckman can say what he wants "unfiltered" people in the media like Ruhle and himself. These Ali Velshi outtakes from 2017 would have saved our country if we had an army of journalists like him. We would have neutered the oil companies, a windfall tax to neuter gougers would be in place, and healthcare for all would be the reality. * A Trump #RightWing spokesman, Brad Thomas, appeared on Velshi and Ruhle and attempted to give Donald Trump credit for jobs, the stock market, and more. In one of the best takedowns by cable TV journalists, Ali Velshi ultimately took him apart. * #AliVelshi methodically schooled Right Wing Congressman #JimJordan by refuting his lies with authority as quickly as the Congressman let them out. A Trump spokesman appeared on Velshi and Ruhle and attempted to give Donald Trump credit for jobs, the stock market, and more. In one of the best takedowns by cable TV journalists, Ali Velshi ultimately took him apart. This is a story I reported on August 17th, 2017. Covers sports betting preview written by Jason Logan: https://www.covers.com/nfl/carolina-panthers-season-betting-preview-2022 Circa Millions Contest Details: Circa | Sports Million IV Pro Football Contest - Circa | Sports (circasports.com) 1. I think the Panthers defense is over rated. Their success last season came in the first two months of the season where they feasted on backup quarterbacks and rookies. 2. The five wins for Carolina in 2021 were all arguably a bit phoney. They beat Wilson in his first ever start, Mills in his first ever start, Jameis in his second start with New Orleans, Ryan the week after his leading WR abandoned the team and McCoy/Streveler combined for Arizona. 3. If the defense is inflated relative to last season, they are in a tight spot overall as the schedule in 2022 gets a lot more difficult as the Panthers swing from a well below average strength of schedule to above league average. 4. It is very likely Baker Mayfield starting as Ruhle coaches for his job this season, but where does the confidence come from under McAdoo at OC? This is going to be a run heavy team that will skew towards unders. 5. Unfortunately, the market has already shifted. Carolina has one of the lowest win totals in the league and is a favorite in just two games all season. Tough team to peg or bet on or against heading into 2022.

I commend Stephanie Ruhle for covering the Texas Voter Suppression walk, allowing Beto O'Rourke and Rev. Barber to speak freely. But the misrepresentation of the poll is dangerous. Her producer needs to do better. Stephanie Ruhle was great in the amount of time she gave both Beto O'Rourke and Rev. William Barber to speak. Her devil's advocate questions allowed both Beto and Barber to enhance their answers. Ruhle's first question was about the optics of Texas Democratic State Legislators leaving the state. The implication is that they are not doing their jobs. The reality is that ensuring a lack of quorum is a part of their job to save our vote.--- If you like what we do please do the following! Since the time of the Roman Empire, the fourth estate has been celebrated as a pillar of democracy, a guardian of the separation of powers and a systemic counterbalance of the natural propensity of power to corrupt. But in a challenge to the American system of checks and balances, it has become a recurrent theme of the daily news cycle for President Trump and his allies to marshal their base under the banner of “Fake News” and to accuse journalists of being “enemies of the people,” a phrase with grim historical roots dating to Joseph Stalin and The Terror of the Jacobin dictatorship of the 1700s. All presidents spar with the press. Richard Nixon pioneered the depiction of the media as liberal bogeymen, “nattering nabobs of negativism” in immortal phrase of William Safire, an administration speech writer who later became famous as a New York Times columnist. But a president schooled in the ways of entertainment sleight-of-hand has mutated what was an accepted parlor trick to rally conservatives into a full-blown assault on the American press. The administration has stopped holding regular press briefings and when it does pass out information, it frequently lies; Trump himself has been documented telling more than 10,000 lies, reporters now do their jobs in an unprecedented climate of intimidation and fear. Many are bullied or harassed — online or in real life. And in Annapolis, a man with a gun walked into a newsroom and slaughtered five staffers. In response, the Main Stream Media has galvanized a range of norm shattering strategies as the spearhead of civil society. Once defined by its fierce independence, the press has banded together in collective solidarity, publishing mass editorials. Breaking with tradition, it has done away with diplomatic double speak in calling out mendacity and tries to confront falsehoods with an army of fact-checkers charged with defending delegitimized facts. Jim Acosta, one of President Trump's chief whipping boys in his war against the press, is joining MSNBC's Stephanie Ruhle to discuss the trials, tribulations and constitutional imperatives of covering The White House as a headliner of the October 27 Conversations On the Green, "Working Without A Net: On Air In The Age Of Trump."
MSNBC anchor Stephanie Ruhle talks with Recode's Kara Swisher about her new podcast Modern Ruhles, the Trump voters who get overlooked by the media, and why Wall Streeters afraid of Elizabeth Warren should "look in the goddamn mirror." Ruhle also discusses her unusual path to working in the media, by way of Credit Suisse; the importance of the question "Are you better off in 2020 than you were in 2016?"; and the soul-searching at NBC News in the aftermath of Ronan Farrow's book Catch and Kill. YouTube host and author Chuck Morse discusses President Trump's depiction of the media as the "enemy of the people" in the week leading up to the 2018 Mid-Term Election.
On The Daily Daily Caller Podcast today... Liberals and Never Trump Republicans have a new "history's greatest monster." After more than a year of non-stop attacks on President Donald Trump without denting his popularity, they've switched targets to Vice President Mike Pence. They are now angry with Pence for being too nice to the president in public, saying too many nice things. The job of VP is basically to attend state funerals and be the Jerome to any president's Morris Day --- a hype man who pumps them up, takes their coat and holds the mirror so they can check themselves out. But for George Will, Don Lemon and Rick Wilson, he's a monster because he's not calling Trump evil every 20 minutes. You can't make this stuff up. Baltimore is a disaster. After the new Police Commissioner Darryl De Sousa apologized for the way policing has been done in the city for 200 years, which was stupid, he's now been discovered to have not bothered to file taxes for three years --- 2013-2015. He's the third commissioner in four years. Anyone looking for a job? MSNBC's Stephanie Ruhle is not particularly bright. While trying to attack the Trump administration for first lady Melania Trump's "Be Best" program to fight childhood bullying, Ruhle tried to argue that the administration hates children because they enforce the border and may soon start separating illegal alien children from the illegal alien parents. Then she tried to spin an attempt to defund Planned Parenthood as an attack on children. The vapid "straight news journalist" sure sounded a lot like an activist, a dim activist, but an activist nonetheless. Starbucks will now allow anyone to use their bathrooms. Junkies of the world, rejoice. You are now never more than five minutes away from a place to shoot up and pass out. Liberals in San Francisco have a "compassionate" program to give junkies free needles. They also have a problem with the city becoming littered with used hypodermic needles. Who could have possibly predicted that? An obese woman is complaining that the Harry Potter rides at Universal Studios have size limits for fat people. She wants the park to design all their rides so they don't "fat shame" people like her, and she dismisses the idea of there being any safety issues for the park. She made a choice, she choose poorly, now she demands the rest of the world accommodate her bad choices. Typical liberal. Finally, no matter how bad your worst date ever was, this guy had a worse one (unless someone ended up dead or in jail). After just one day, a woman sent the guy she went out with over 65,000 text messages, or 500 per day. She's probably going to go away for a little while, but she's likely single, fellas. Larry Kudlow has been subject to unending attacks from the mainstream media since being announced as Trump’s chief economic advisor. Kudlow is a devout Catholic who credits God for getting him through his years of substance abuse. On CNBC, Kudlow said that, whatever might happen during his tenure as Trump’s advisor, it would be the will of God. This sentiment isn’t actually controversial, but on their MSNBC show, Ali Velshi and Stephanie Ruhle found it worthy of incredulous laughter and snide sarcasm. Velshi used to work for Al Jazeera—if someone there had said inshallah (God’s will) no one at MSNBC would have dreamed of treating them with such contempt! Kudlow is a fine conservative economist and will serve the president well. And his faith should be off limits.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
